I needed to get a carrying case for my new gps, and most of the people who use the nuvi's use dashboard mounts, so this looked like a perfect combo.
This mount is very sticky, almost to everything. It is also very stable, no matter how sharp you take turns or stop.

The carrying case is quite attractive, but pretty small for a 4.3 Nuvi. I bought the 855, and although it fits you have to stretch the elastic so much you are afraid it will pop like a violin string. At the very least it is going to wear out the elastic.
