The rod broke quickly after we hung 10 to 12 items on it. The plastic used to hang the rod is far to flimsey to hold more than a few items. I tried to repair ir with duct tape, but that didn't work. We purchased 2- one for Tundra double cab and one for RAV 4. The Tundra's back seat area is for my husbands "office". He needed a place to keep rain gear, extra jackets and a change of clothes. It works great- hangers don't slide around. The clothes bar in my Rav 4 keeps my gear neat and tidy- no wrinkles. It comes into view for my rearview mirror, but doesn't block it completely. Good value for the money.
STURDY BUT CLOTHES HAVE TO BE BALANCED ON EITHER SIDE EVENLY. HANGS ON THE TWO SINGLE CLOTHES CARRIER HOOKS ON BOTH SIDES IN BACK SEATOF THE CAR. IF YOU HAVE A CONVERTIBLE FORGET IT...THERE'S NO WHERE TO ATTACH IT. RUBBER SLEEVE KEEPS HANGERS FROM SLIDING. SO IF YOU WANT THEM TO SLIDE, IT'S NOT GOOD.
