Lithium Ion Battery - craftsman, c3

Buyer Beware......always check the Sears homepage before buying a Craftsman product through Amazon. In this case several dollars would have been saved.....a total of $40.00 on the complete order! Amazon disgusted me in this case as the order was placed on a Sunday morning and it could not be cancelled that afternoon! The claim was it was too far into the process. RIGHT! However; The Lithium-ion batteries are a GREAT improvement over the older generation NiCADs that came with the equipment. Laptop Battery - laptop battery, e1505

I own a Dell E1505 laptop computer. The original battery did not last very long and since I have been using my laptop as a portable 'desktop' computer. Recently I decided to purchase a new batter as my travel frequency has gone up. I normally purchase items from Amazon with good to excellent feedback. So I was comparing the 9-cell battery by Tavas with the one by New Trent and I ended up purchased the one from Tavas as it had a better rating (7200mAh vs 6600mAh) and is slightly cheaper because I had to pay tax if I ordered the one by New Trent.

The battery arrived and immediately I put the battery to test. Boom it was not working. The computer BIOS complained that it does not recognize the battery. But when I booted into Windows I can see the battery meter displayed about 52% charge and I can read the battery ID (don't remember the exact ID No.) and such but apparently the battery is not charging. I removed the power cord and the computer was still on so the battery was actually supplying power to the laptop. When I plug the power cord back, the little power cord icon was showing that the battery was charging but after a few minutes the charging icon disappeared so again the battery was sitting idle.

I called Dell technical support and was advised to only buy Dell battery. Finally they told me that the issue can be fixed by flashing (the BIOS) but I have to purchase a one time support which would cost me $59.95 because my laptop is out of warranty support. So I decide to return the battery since Amazon offers a easy return process.

I then reorder the 9-cell battery by New Trent. It took only three to four days for the battery to arrive and again I immediately plugged in the battery for a test. The BIOS did not even notice that there was a new battery. Every thing just worked as my original battery. I booted into Windows and found that the battery was charging normally. This battery, when fully charged, gives me about 4 to 5 hours run time with my laptop set for Maximum Battery (as opposed to Maximum Performance). So far I am very happy with this battery but I only own it for less then two days. BTW, the battery is rated at 7200mAH even though the ad on Amazon says the battery is rated at 6600mAH. New Trent 11.10V,7200mAh, 9 cells, Li-Ion, Replacement Laptop Battery For Dell Inspiron 1501, Inspiron 6400, Inspiron E1505, Latitude 131L, Vostro 1000 Brand New

Received this battery a couple days ago and have been impressed since. My old battery for my Dell I6400 would last about 40 minutes before it would so graciously turn off with no warning. I saw this as the sign to get a new battery. I was pleasantly surprised to find this New Trent battery for under $40 on Amazon. My first replacement battery for this Dell cost over $100 and didn't even last 1 year before the above mentioned symptoms.

My Dell computer recognized this battery without a problem and I am getting between 3 and 4 hours of battery life now. I would definitely recommend this product after only having it for a few days now.

With the original battery in my Dell Inspiron 1501 worn out -- only about 10 minutes of runtime before it would require recharge, and with the computer giving me constant messages that the battery needs to be replaced, I went to Dell to buy a replacement. I was shocked to find that a new Dell battery would cost nearly $150! While uncertain about buying an "aftermarket" battery, I researched quite a bit, looking at various batteries, and after reading a number of excellent reviews for New Trent products, I decided to purchase one. The battery arrived promptly, I installed it today, and my Dell immediately recognized the battery and began charging it. Given that I have just received the battery, I am not yet sure what the full run time will be -- as I have not yet discharged it. However, after some of the bad experiences I learned of during my research with folks who bough other brands of batteries from other companies, I am very pleased with the New Trent product. And, you can't beat the price -- less than 1/3 the cost of a new Dell battery! Finally, I also checked out New Trent's website, and spoke with the company on the phone with some questions, and they were incredibly helpful and kind, and really stood behind their product. I do not hesitate at all to recommend this company, and I will absolutely return to New Trent the next time I need a laptop battery.

I have had this battery for several weeks now. The price was low and that made me a little worried but since it was ordered from Amazon I knew they would make it right if there was any problem. It holds several hours of charge and I couldn't be more pleased! I will definitely re-order this battery when I need one.

This is the fourth battery I've had to buy for my Dell Inspiron E1505. I seem to go through battery's fast. That is until I read what others had to say about Dell batteries being less than adequate. As I searched for another replacement I came across this one on Amazon and chose it because of positive reviews and the more than reasonable price. It arrived quickly and upon looking it over I found it to be a well assembled product, that plus the quality packaging set me up to the fact that this is a excellent product. I'm sure I wont be disappointed and so far I haven't been. - Laptop Battery - E1505 - Dell Inspiron - Battery'

Wii Component Cable - av cable, cables

I had Wii running in 480p 16:9 without problems using this cable. I had decided not to buy component cables previously because I figured the it wasn't worth spending $30 on component cables if the Wii doesn't support 720p or 1080i anyway. Well, the difference isn't worth that much, but its definitely worth the $3 I got these thrid party cables for. The image quality has improved dramatically. Its not HD, but compared to composite cables @480i the difference is night and day on all the HDTVs I've seen using this. The main downside is that it really makes jaggies and other graphical errors jump out, but that will depend on the game that your playing. Here are some things to note:

-This cable is shorter than the stock cable that came with Wii. The pictured cable [that one that I recieved] is 5 feet 6 inches. The stock cable is around 8 feet.

-Theres no way to seperate the left and right audio connections from the component video ones. This matters if you have an audio reciever apart from ylolur TV. Same problem with the first party cable. Buy an extension L/R audio cable and theres no problem

-The packaging says the phrase "compatible with 1080i/720p HDTV" all over it. No its not. Well, the cable may be, but the Wii can't output either, so its misleading.

It works. Its $3. Reccomended. Nintendo Wii HD component Cable

I don't know how they can call these cables premium when they are not double shielded. Additionally, the connectors do not fit as snuggly as the Belkin ones I bought. Of course I paid 5 times as much for the premium Belkin cables. The description claims that the product has an "Ultra thick and flexible PVC jacket" but again, the jacket is not half as thick as the Belkin's.

On the plus side, the connectors do stay plugged in and the picture quality is great despite not being double shielded. This is a cheap upgrade from the cables the Wii comes with and if you have an HDTV you definitely need component cables--the different is much more noticeable.

I bought this as a gift for a friend with a Wii and a HDTV. The 480p output that this cable enables (and you have to select this output setting inside the Wii setup screens) looked better than the standard 480i output that the OEM cable enclosed in the box produces. Some cable snobs think that "high-quality" cables will make a lifetime of difference, I prefer to save the money for other things.

As others have pointed out, the Wii does not produce HDMI signals... the best the Wii can do is 480p output over these sorts of component-output cables (an analog, not digital signal). It's yet another reason that the Wii can retail for less than the other game consoles. That said, the improvement in appearance was well worth the modest cost of these cables.

The cables are not gold-plated as the product description claims, so I dinged them one star. But forget about that, do they make the picture look better than the standard cables? I have a 42" DLP and there's definitely a difference. It's not huge - it won't turn your Wii into a PS3. But with these cables I can flip between 480i and 480p and there's a definitely difference in the amount of color bleeding, especially with text. Are they worth it? Hey, they cost under $10 including shipping. If you have a big TV, go for it. Just make sure you go into to your Wii settings and switch to 480p.

I purchased this cable after reading reviews, knowing that I'd be taking advantage of my 42 inch LCD-TV.

What I didn't realize is that the cable is of very poor quality, I assumed this was the case because of the price.

Component is obviously much better than the factory composite cables, so I won't get into that.

This cable has little to no shielding in it, which in my case, caused very noticeable interference on the TV.

I saw about 3 sections of 'fuzzy' scanning lines, slowly making their way up the screen.

I searched this issue and found some people could get the lines to go away if they unplugged the audio, wiggle connectors, etc.. none of this worked for me.

The interference sections are quite annoying, so I went ahead and bought the Monster component cables from Amazon.

They were cheaper than the official Nintendo component cables at the time of purchase.

Once I received the Monster brand in, I compared the two cables.

The Monster cable is of MUCH higher quality (double shielded was the selling point for me).

Monster cable is about 3 times the thickness of these cheap 3rd party cables.

When I started the Wii with the Monster cables hooked up, the image was rock solid!

No more annoying fuzzy scanning lines!

In my opinion, I'd recommend buying the Monster Gamelink cable, so you know your chances of interference on the TV are extremely low!

This cable is cheap, and made a noticeable difference in visuals for my Wii. I've compared this with the regular composite cable (the one that comes with the Wii) on a 29" CRT and 32" LCD tv and these make the contrast, colors, and edges more defined and vibrant. For the price and visual boost, I don't think it gets any better. If you're in the market for Wii component cables, buy this one. - Nintendo - Av Cable - Wii Component Cable - Cables'

Computer Accessories - disk storage, dvd case

This is a great holder for your CDs or DVDs. The size is right, it doesn't bulge when filled. The zipper does not bind either. The color is nice and so are the pages.

The only downsides are that the first and last couple pages are slightly bound when the case is full, and that the spine is a little stiff (doesn't open flat easily). These are minor problems and I would not let them dissuade you from buying this if you're looking for disc storage. Case Logic BNW-48 Polyester CD/DVD Wallet 48 Capacity (Black)

It isn't a hard shell case but easily sturdy enough to offer adequate protection to the CDs inserted. Any zippered case can potential scratch your CDs if you aren't paying attention when you insert CDs, even the most expensive cases, so the comment about the zipper possibly damaging the CDs was irrelevant. The sleeves hold CDs just fine.

If you want a CD case that hold up to 24 discs, zips shut so you can toss the case onto the car seat and jump in, then this case will work perfectly fine. Nothing in the case's construction suggests it will fall apart any sooner than any expensive case. It seems like a very good buy.

I own several Cage Logic camera cases and they never wear out, this CD case is no exception. Quality construction, 25 year warranty, easy-working zipper, there's nothing at all to hate about this case. I don't care that there is no place for a label, since I make my own CD labels. This fits the bill for my intentions, which is a small case to carry some CD's along with me in my car. It is a little larger in size than what I thought it would be, but that's OK, it still fits in my console. Also, the picture that is shown here shows a blue interior, it is black, not blue. I've seen this same case in local stores, the price here on Amazon is half what the stores charge for the same model case.

It holds my DVDs and CDs just fine. For the price its pretty good. Felt kind of cheap and flimsy at first but I see now it's pretty durable. I like it but if you have tons of CDs then I suggest you get one for more than just 48 CDs. Good luck!

Very nice storage wallet/zipper case for the money! Inexpensive, reliable, and necessary! Highly recommend this product! I have purchased these multiple times from same seller! A1 Product! You won't be disappointed!

This is the best CD/DVD case that I've owned personally. The construction is solid, it's easy to slip discs into (and out of) the envelopes, and the zipper closes the case tight to protect your discs. I own more than one of these cases, and if I ever need to store more CDs/DVDs - then I'll be buying another one. Awesome value for the money!

I love Books on CD and this has been the BEST thing I've done! I especially love the books on roadtrips and the ease of getting them out to play is wonderful!!!! As a storage unit...it's a WINNER!!!!!!!!

I store this case in my laptop bag whenever I travel, so that I can bring along my favorite collection of DVDs and Wii games. The 48 capacity might sound small compared to larger cases, but 48 is actually very generous if you're using this thing for traveling. It is a good trade-off between case size and capacity. If you just plan to store your entire CD/DVD collection in your bedroom or something like that, you might want to go up a size or two.

I have been very pleased with construction of the case; after several months of use, it has shown no signs of wearing down. The CDs are afforded good protection, and I never worry about them being damaged or falling out when I travel. It does not bulge or bend when completely filled. - Dvd Case - Dvd Holders - Case Logic - Disk Storage'

Curl Enhancers - flat iron, pink

I just ordered this ISO after reading reviews on it from a different seller and decided to give it a try, I found Smart Buy and they had the best price and free shipping so I ordered.

The flat Iron arrived today, 2 days after it got shipped out, I immediately tried it out and am 100% happy with my purchase. I have thick wavy hair that is hard to control and takes forever to style. This Professional Tourmaline Ceramic Ionic Straighter went over my hair so fast and glides so easily, I was done in less than 10 minutes! No burn smell and my hair still feels supersoft. This flat iron got hot superfast too! I highly recommend you all to give this a try, I had wanted to order a Chi but can't swing the price right now. I also was worried about fakes being sold on amazon, I really needed a good flat iron and am so happy I did take a chance on this one, I recommend this iron to everyone, it is just as good as the one my hairstyler uses on me! You can flip your hair out, or in, leave completely flat or curl it! 5 stars!Iso Professional Tourmaline Ceramic Hair Straightener Red Tatto

Got this hair straightener about a month ago and so far so good. It heats up pretty quick and it takes no time to get your hair straight ( I have very thin and slightly wave hair)shiny and smooth. I would definately recommend it to anyone. Oh! and the best part-- the price!

My 9-year-old uses this when she wants to "do" her hair for special occasions. It is easy for her to use, she gets the result she's looking for, and the price was right. When I was a teenager, I used to iron my hair on the ironing board! This is a much better plan.

Don't even bother wasting your time or money on this one. If I could give it zero stars I would have. This straightener barely got hot, even after being plugged in for 20 minutes. It wouldn't even straighten my wavy hair. I had to plug in my old one to finish the job. I will say though that Amazon is very good about returns and I was able to get my money back.

This flat iron has been amazing. Fist time i have ever paid over $15 for a styling tool and its so worth it. Gets my hair stick straight in no time and i even stopped blowdrying prior to straightening b/c it was simply unnecessary. Was a little put off by the hideous salmon color at first but, if thats why it was so inexpensive, then it was totally worth it! Thrilled with this product! - Pink - Flat Iron - Curl Enhancers'

Kids Fishing

Good rod decent reel. I had a lot of problems with bird nesting in the reel. The rod is strong, light, and sensitive. I would buy the rod and look at Pflueger reels. They are quality made at a reasonable price. Shakespeare One-Piece Ultra Light Action Ugly Combo

Best fishing rod i have used including the normal sized ugly stik. Lets even the smallest fish put up a great fight but will not break IF USED CORRECTLY. The reel is okay, just wish it had more ball bearings. Probably going to upgrade the reel to a Quantam micro.

Alright my low-down on this product is simple the reel sucks but the rod is great. I bought this combo to just have a cheap way to get back into fishing, but it was nothing was cheap after I found that the reel hesitated as the reel cylinder reached the bottom of the cycle like if the line was caught inside the reel, but that was not the case. I concluded by researching the problem that it could be that the reel only had one ball-bearing. My solution was to spend more then the whole combo by buying an Abu Garcia 102 10lbs reel that costs $35-$40. This reel works great. To escape the misery that I experienced just get the rod and a higher quality reel from Abu Garcia, Quantum XT Micro Spinning Reel, or a Shimano AXUL-S Ultra Light Special Graphite Fishing Reel. Then you will be set for a successful combo. As for line get a line that max's out the reel because this shakespeare rod is great just as other posted by other do not bend it into a "u" or "v" as some say remember its price tag and be realistic.

i had this for about two months. it worked very very very well. then i decided to try and bend the rod in half like the guy in the picture on the label does.it is now in more pieces than it should be. so, in summary, neat little rod, don't use for pole vaultinng.'
