So far, I've been happy with the quality of the knife and it's ability to hold an edge and plow through bark. (I'm only using it on smaller log segments.) One improvement could be the red knob-handles - being plastic, they can slip a bit through your hands. Perhaps wood or solid rubber would be prefereable.
