As a member of the JLGB and reading this book, I found it interesting to find out the whole history of the brigade.
The book details the history from its founding in 1895, to present day (1994). It tells the story in a detailed yet easy to read way. I found it enjoyable and informative.
For anyone who wants to know about the history of the countries oldest Jewish youth organisation should read this book, and enjoy A Good Jew and a Good Englishman: The Jewish Lads' and Girls' Brigade'
