I had this watch for 10 years and the only reason I am replacing it is because I lost it. It was subject to the worst imaginable shocks, dings, slams, hits you can imagine and it still kept going. Nothing seemed to cause problems for this watch including water, sand, banging it, you name it. If you want a decent looking workhouse of a watch, this is it. I am ready and looking forward to my next one!!!!
ps be sure to do a search for standard issue wenger ladies watch because they have very similar looking models at very different prices. i believe this one is a slightly older model but is essentially the same watch that sells for twice as much. I spent some time (two to three weeks) reviewing watches and looking for a watch that suited my needs. I wanted a watch that was all around useful. I don't do dressy dress so I have no need for a slim watch. I am a nurse, so I needed tough. There were certain things I wanted: numbers, day, two tone, bracelet, water resistant. My husband has a Wenger watch that he loves. After looking at several other name brands, I looked at Wenger. This watch looked to suit my needs. I does. It is very pretty, fit right out of the box just like they had my arm measurement. It was set and running when I put it on, and had kept perfect time since. The face is very visable. The bracelet is comfortable, lightweight but still has the feel of a quality product. It is adjustable, but I didn't need to make adjustments. I have some problems with getting a large enough band, but not this time. I would buy this product again.'
