Jump Starter - jump start

Awesome! Plenty of jump start power. Purchased 1 from Amazon & another from my local hardware store(same model). Used 4 times in the last few days on our fleet vehicles. Cars/trucks/vans...no problems. Charging is easy on this model, just plug it in with an ordinary household AC extension cord or use the DC adapter supplied. Also, this unit has an on/off switch. My old one didn't so the terminals were 'HOT' all the time. Life saver device, well worth the bucks! Stanley J309 300 Amp Jump Starter

I bought this jumper to jump my motorcycle. The battery goes dead every winter and I am not in an area where I would be able to keep the battery charged over the winter (I am forced to park the thing out on the street). Anyway, this jumper works great - I plugged it in, let it charge for a day (although I don't think it requires a full day to charge) and jumped my bike right up - the battery on my bike was completely dead prior to the jump. Very easy, no problems.

My battery wouldn't hold a charge and I used this every day for 4 months to start my car and it exceeded my expectations. I never expected it to last that long, but with charging once every 3 weeks or so it worked fine. Small, portable, and much easier than jumper cables. Highly recommended.

I use it to start my lawn mower and cars if necessary. So far, it has been working well. It is much better off for me to have this battery pack than buying a dedicated battery for my lawn mower. A great product!

I shopped eBay and major retailers, and Amazon had the lowest price for this item. I had previously read online reviews of similar products and decided that Stanley offered the best, along with a trusted brand name.

Shopping at Amazon is so easy, I do it often.

I received my Stanley Amp Jump Starter, charged it and put it to work right away. It works as it should, cars start up right up and the attached light is a great feature. Be sure you have a small extension cord to charge it or you can use the supplied car charger.

I bought this to power a laptop running a wireless air-card that is always on. I was plugging the laptop 12 volt power power supply into the 12 volt outlet of the fully charged jump starter. I was only getting about 3 to 4 hours of use and then the jump pack was drained. The small battery in the computer is lasting about 2 hours. Not very impressed. It was a nice compact unit, not to heavy, and I never did try to jump start anything.Maybe I got a bad unit; but if like me you want to power a computer, this pack didn't work well. I didn't downgrade my rating because as stated above I didn't jump start anything. I have purchased the larger Stanley unit and will review it once I have a chance to try it.

Unit works well enough but it is not a Stanley Product. All the documentaion with the unit list Baccus Global. There is no indication of the country of manufacture. I prefer bying products from the USA and many of the Stanley products list a made in USA stamp.

I recently bought this jump starter, and have found, that if the car does not start on the first few cranks, forget it, the charge is gone from the jump starter, and you have to recharge it, before you can use it again. Not too happy! - Jump Start'
