These are staples. I use them in my SENCO pneumatic narrow-crown staple gun. There's not much to say, other than these are galvanized instead of being finished with Sencote (which is more of a premium galvanized finish). There's nothing wrong with plain galvanized for cedar shakes, so that doesn't really bother me and they're a third of the price of the Sencote finished version.
