Xoom

The rubber grip makes it easier to hold and less slippery. For a slim rubber skin it feels fine. I knew this wasn't much protection going in but it does make setting it down smoother.

The cons: Can't really grip and carry the Xoom without also pinching the exposed screen side too. It could use some sort of flippable front cover. I'm finding I could use a cover with a stand of some sort, though the rubbery grip makes it easier to use other objects to hold it at an angle.

If all you want is a sleek rubbery skin to cover the back mostly, this does the job great. Motorola Protective Gel Case for MOTOROLA XOOM Blue (Motorola Retail Packaging)

Very good case for what it is. Pro's: great fit, attractive color (BLUE!) and the gel material has good grip. Con's: There is no opening for the memory card slot (doesn't function yet anyway.....lame) and there is no reinforcement around the rim of the case. So, if you happen to pick up the Xoom by the edge the case can peel off. It does conform right back though so no big deal. This is a good product overall as it should be since it is not a third party product and comes from Motorola.

The case works as advertised. It is rubbery and protects the back side of your Xoom. Two things stick out for me. One is that the case picks up any thing that you set it on. I use mine outside and when I pick it up to go inside I can feel fine particles of sand or whatever stuck to the case. The other thing is that the edge where the connectors are is flimsy. When holding the case by that edge it often peels back. I've gotten used to carrying my Xoom upside down, with the Motorola logo on the bottom.

With something as simple as this case, one hopes to write (and read) a simple review.

And slowness of the USPS - which delivered my Prime order in a stunningly slow 7 days - aside, the case is perfect: Great fit, high production quality, and improved grip on the Xoom.

Until someone is smart enough to make a great leather portfolio case for the Xoom, this is a great sleeve for keeping your Xoom protected. Its easier to hold on to and contrary to the other review I don't find it slippery at all. It fits well and is great for keeping your Xoom from sliding around and getting scratched. Put a screen protector on it and your golden.

This is hands down the best case for the xoom. It's skin-like fit is perfect and it offers great protection. It does not, however, offer any screen protection, so I also carry mine in a netbook sleeve. It does what it's intended to do though, which is protect the case from dings and scratches. The only downside I see to this case is that it's a little harder to hold the tablet in one hand with it on. The metal backing on the Xoom case won't slip in your hand, but this case is a little slippery. Definitely not a dealbreaker though. If you were wondering, it WILL fit in the motorola dock with this case on. The dock comes with a special adapter for this case.'
