I recently moved into an apartment and quickly realized how important it is to have a decent kitchen knife set around. The handles are sturdy, blades sharp, and the block looks nice in the kitchen. Good knife set for those on a budget or those that dont need anything fancy. Does not come with a bread knife nor sharpener though. The scissors dont seem like they would handle hard to cut items. The serrated knives come sharp but the bigger, non-serrated knives seem to need a little sharpening. All in all, for all these knives and a block (mine is more yellow as opposed to the color in the picture with more grain as well), its worth the price. This item is also listed for more money under Neway Int'l.
For the price, you can't really beat this set. So far I haven't had any problems with any of the knives, they still look and feel solid and good. Only downside is the wooden block looks a little cheap, but like I said for the price it's great! - Knife - Knife Sets - Henckels - Cutlery'
