3d Blu-ray - panasonic, streaming video
This blu-ray player has excellent picture quality. The Netflix,Blockbuster,Vudu work great. You also receive a free movie download with Blockbuster and Vudu if you register the device on their website. Works excellent with a wired connect and as soon as I connected my ethernet cable it update the firmware. And you can attach a flash drive to the usb on the back for extra storage for the BD-Live Content. I used my 20.00 credit from Madden 12 to get the player for 58.00. Even at 78.00 this is a great player. Toshiba BDX2150 Wifi-Ready Blu-ray Disc Player - Black
I give it a 4-start for the following reasons (or points of improvements):1. The player does not remember where it stopped playing. So, I have to start from the beginning after power cycle.2. When the blue-ray disk is being loaded, somehow there is relatively loud noise. Every time. But it is quiet when it plays.
This player is fantastic. I was first surprised by its size. It is TINY! Light as a feather (which scared me at first), but that doesn't seem to affect its quality. The picture and sound are awesome, the apps are great... Can't go wrong with this player, especially for the price. I can't speak to its longevity, of course, since I only bought it earlier this week, but since you can get a warranty on SquareTrade for like 11 bucks... no worries (:
Great product....has as many features as many blu-ray players 2x the price. If internet capability is desired, just connect with a ethernet cord or get a wifi adapter, the choice is yours. Be sure to add this HDMI cable for excellent results!:

DVD reader defective from start: very sluggish reactions to remote control commands, in spite of changing the batteries. Sometimes the DVD reader respond immediately, sometimes I had to press the button 10 times to get a response. All material received new in pristine condition, but defective material that I had to return. Will try another brand next. Amazon has a very straightforward and simple return system fortunately.
Well I received my player on yesterday as the seller promised. I was super excited and eager to see how it worked. I purchased an adapter based on the recommendation from Amazon pop up. The specifics does not state you need an adapter for the product, it isn't on the box and it wasn't written in the product descriptions. So it was very disappointing to find out that even at a great buy - I have to spend at least $40 to get a "Toshiba" adapter because it will not work with anything else. Very disappointing - I would have prefer for them to include the adapter and charge more for the unit. So until I get an adapter I have yet to see how good this unit really is.
This Toshiba entry-level Blu-ray player performs most tasks competently; however, I cannot recommend it for two reasons:
1. The remote control is not particularly well laid out, making it hard to use it in the dark. This is a minor issue common to entry-level media equipment.
2. The true deal-breaking missing feature of this player is that it does not remember your place in a disc after a power cycle. If you are watching a movie, turn the player off, then turn it on later, it resets to the FBI warning as if the disc had just been inserted. Especially for TV shows, where six or seven one-hour episodes may be on one disc (and so the disc may be in the player for several power cycles), this is unacceptable.
Technical support claims that the missing feature is a way to differentiate the lowest-end player from the other models; in reality it distinguishes the device as less useful than my first CD player. - Blu-ray Player - Panasonic - Blu-ray - Streaming Video'
