This is a great forklift. Its two forks can slide back and forth to different widths, and the mast can slide up and down as well as tilt the forks up (crucial if you want to actually lift anything with it). It also has a little knob on the back for turning the wheels, but my boys (ages 4 and 2 1/2) didn't play with that part too much. The forks aren't the sturdiest ever (ours broke when the forklift fell on a hard floor), but replacements are available from the manufacturer's website very cheaply (with free shipping). The Bruder Fork Lift is a great idea, but is very poor quality. The forks are not durable and break easily leaving a very sad and disappointed child. The forks need more durability since they are marketed for small children. My grandson loves construction vehicles and was very excited with the fork lift until one of the forks broke. Purchasers should receive replacement or refund. I would never again purchase a Bruder product.

My grandson is three and a half and loves forklifts. This one looks real, works great, is rugged and durable, and just all around what I've come to expect from Bruder. It was packaged well, and arrived on time.
Well forks slide alright. Within a day of getting it one fork slid right off and got lost. Now I have to order replacement forks probably from Germany! Its fine to make them moveable but why do they need to slide off? Doesn't make sense, at least put a stop at the ends or something.
This is a great toy for kids to play with while expanding their creativeity and imagination while learning eye-hand cordation. This toy is made of plastic, and the first one we received had one of the forks broke but it was replaced by the toy company that we ordered it from. We would recomend it for any child that you want to be more active and learn to apply any of the skills mentioned earlier.
My 4 year old absolutley loves this forklift. The forks move up and down with ease. The only downfall is that the forks can slide off of the sides if spread too far apart. Other than that, this toy is great. - Play Vehicles - Construction - Bruder - Forklift'
