Folding - ipad 2, ipad2
I bought this case after first seeing photos of it on CNET. It has a slim form factor that exposes the beauty of the iPad's aluminum and glass design but yet also provides sufficient front, back and side protection for the device. It fits the device perfectly, and the camera is centered perfectly in the camera cutout hole on the back of the case when installed properly. (I don't know what another reviewer was complaining about poor fit. Maybe he was attempting to install a first generation iPad into this iPad2 case.) This case folds into multiple of positions allowing you to use your iPad in a variety of ways. What the pictures don't show is that you can fold the case in even one lower position to allow for typing. In this position, the iPad is elevated about 1 inch in the back, allowing for a comfortable typing position. Other cases I previously owned for my old first gen. iPad were elevated too high in back when in the typing position, leading to aching wrists when typing for only a short period of time. What the photos also don't show is that you can fold the cover back (kind of like folding back a spiral bound notebook) to make the iPad in the case completely flat. I also like the light blue on black color scheme and find it to be sufficiently masculine for my tastes. I bought an Apple Smart Cover which hasn't arrived yet, but after reading comments online to the effect that the Smart Cover leaves scratches on the side of the iPad where it attaches, I will be returning it upon receipt. A case should protect from scratches, not add scratches. I highly recommend the Targus VuScape protective cover/stand. Targus VuScape Protective Cover/Stand for Apple iPad 2 - 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, WiFi and WiFi + 3G THZ044US (Black/Blue Interior)
I've been very happy with this case. Here's why...
PROS
-Fits like a glove: The iPad slides in and stays secure. It doesn't slide out at all and remains steady when resting in the viewing grooves
-Protection: Covers the front and back without adding a ton of bulk to the device overall
-Look/feel: Feels sturdy and looks classic. Pretty slim overall too
-Button / Speaker Access: This case lets you easily access the side buttons and does not block the speaker at all. The iPad 1 had buttons on the side and a speaker on the bottom of the frame. Since Apple moved the buttons and speaker to essentially the back of the device, you need to make sure you can access them without peeling back the side of the case
-Price: $39.99 is as good as it gets in this field. Same price as a Smart Cover but protects the back of your iPad and does not leave streak marks on the screen, like Apple's Smart Covers do
CONS
-Color: this is a personal thing but I wish the inside was black too instead of blue, but again that's just me
-No Magnets: would have been nice to have since it's a cool new trick but doesn't make a big difference in the end. I knew this before I bought it so I'm not knocking the case but just saying
No other cons but ONE CLARIFICATION based on other reviews I've seen: Some people have complained that two of the corners do not stay tight on their iPad. This is because they are NOT supposed to. The bottom of the iPad must be free to swing out and fit into the grooves for viewing angles. Those corners are just there to protect the corners of your iPad when the case is closed. The iPad does not slide out of the top grips that do hold it in. Those work just fine.
Overall, I think it's a great case. I was originally looking at the incase Book Jacket but this one has much better button / speaker access and is a bit thinner too. I definitely recommend it to others.
In my 1 week of use, I really do like it. It meets my needs for protection and versatility. It feels good and sturdy; it props the screen up well for viewing movies on an airplane flight I took, and when folding the cover back behind the ipad itself for lap use, the material that is used to protect the inside grips well on clothing to hold pad steady. I felt confident that the ipad would be protected when I put it into my computer bag. I'm not sure how long those edge nubs will hold the pad in place, but in my opinion, I believe they will last reasonably well. I'll update my comments if I have any problems over time. So I'll keep this cover, I'm real happy with it so far.
I've had the case for a few days. Small and compact yet provides the protection I wanted in a case. The bottom clamps in lose by design so the unit easily comes out to the built in tilt positions. Sometimes the unit will slip from the tilt slots if you are holding the case in your hand vs setting up on a flat surface. This lose fit on the bottom is by design not a flaw. Overall a good value for the money. Also handled by Best Buy.
Bought this case before the new Ipad was released and I must admit it really surprised me. Works great as a stand but what's even better its very thin and light. It does not cover up the screen with annoying brackets and with the price its definitely better than the smart cover Apple offers since it actually protects your device. Also very easy to remove your ipad in and out of the case. - Case - Ipad2 - Ipad 2 - Targus'

Component Video - vga cable, adapter
Before you buy this cable to hook up your PC with your TV please read the following:
In order for this cable to work, the markings on your TV must be RGB. You will have to look closely to read this or find it in your TV manual. If it is Pr,Y,Pb IT WILL NOT WORK. You will find these markings next to the red, green and blue connectors on the back of your TV. Remember, they must be marked R,G,B.
Regards. Premium 6ft VGA Male to 3-RCA Component Video Male cable
This worked amazing to hook up my projector to my DVD player. Much better picture quality than with the previous S-video cable.
This WILL NOT work to hook up your laptop to a Television. Do not even try.
Even though all these helpful reviews said "this won't allow you to plug your laptop into your TV," i thought that for sure my situation must be different. Don't fall into the same trap - This cable does not convert RGB video into a component signal.
If you need something for plugging your component into an RGB port in a projector, this is for you. And it's very well made.
I ordered this cable in the hopes of connecting my laptop to my 50" plasma TV. The cable arrived in good condition, and I believe it's a good-quality cable - it feels strong, but is still very flexible - but it didn't work for me.
In order to use this cable, the device with VGA out must be capable of sending a TV signal, sometimes called an RGB signal or a sync-on-green signal. Because this is a very specific type of signal, it's almost impossible to find out whether or not a certain device is capable of it. Basically, if it's designed for displaying on a TV, it's going to send the right signal, but most laptops have display ports for connecting to monitors, not TVs. For this price, however, it's probably worth buying the cable and testing it in your situation, instead of scouring the web and living in constant uncertainty.
Even after reading the various warnings submitted by others before buying this item, I decided to get it anyway. Most had alerted that the product wouldn't work for those who were trying to use the cable to link their TV with their computer. I was trying to connect a DVD player (component output) to a PC monitor (standard RGB HD-15). Should be no problem right? Wrong. The monitor doesn't recognize the connection. So, I just figured I'd return it. After all, it's Amazon. Well this particular product must be returned to the seller and the seller does not reimburse their shipping cost nor pay for the return shipping. Since the original shipping cost exceeds the product cost, it makes no financial sense to return the item. A cheap but important lesson for the future.
Excellent conversion cable. Some HD projectors/TVs accept the composite signal via connector that looks like a VGA one from a PC. This allows you to come out of the DVD player or other video source using 3 component plugs and go to the VGA style input on the projector. Works great.
I bought this, because I wanted to connect a new PC monitor to my dvd/vcr combo, so this would have been great, as it comes with the RCA on one end and the VGA on the other, but my monitor didn't recognize the VCR combo, and vise versa, the combo couldn't send the audio/video to the PC monitor.
This thing was not what I expected. It didn't work the way I expected it to. I have had other similiar products that were able to take the signal from my computer and output the to my tv. This didn't do that. I tried for hours fiddling with the graphic card atributes to get this to work and it just wouldn't do it. - Vga Cable - Adapter - Component Video - Cables'

Digital Camera
I have tried so many different cleaning tools, and I always stuck with the basic lens tissues and cleaners. But with today's lenses, they didn't do the job (speed and ease) I was looking for.
The guy at my local (100 year old) camera shop recommended I try one of these.
I have removed all other cleaning items out of my bag except for one "cloth" that I use to clean the outside of my camera and this pen.
Always start with the "brush" to brush away any grit or sand that could possibly scratch the lens. Then lightly, use the other side (felt) to clean away smudges and other marks. It's quick, easy and unbelievably effective!
I use it on my lenses, the LCD of my SLR and even my cell phone.
The first one lasted me a year. I am on my second and recommend it everywhere I go. LensPEN Lens Cleaning System
I read about the LensPen in a photography magazine and decided to give it a try. Trying to keep DSLR filters and camera lenses clean is a chore, especially when cleaning liquids keep leaving some smearing, no matter how careful you try to be. The Lenspen has two types of cleaners in one small package -- a very good dust brush and an excellent cleaning wiper for smudges or dried moisture spots. I learned the hard way that dust can build up over time, especially on the small lenses of point and shoot digital cameras. This makes the pictures you take blury and darker than they should be. Don't be disappointed, if you want to keep those pictures as crisp as when your camera was new, you need to keep a lenspen in your camera bag and use it before every shoot. Two great tools in one tiny package make this job as simple as can be!
I used to use microfiber cloth to wipe off my lenses. I realize now how unnecessarily time-consuming and risky that was. This is a must-have. I am VERY picky about minute smudges on my glass. This "pen" flawlessly polishes them out quickly, and to me, the less time I have to spend rubbing something on my expensive lenses to clean them, the better. I didn't know water drops or smudges could come off so fast without a trace. Great product, and gentle on your glass.
The photo shown is deceptive. The item received is a cheap copy that does not clean as well as my, now four year old, genuine LensPEN. Especially on multi-coated filters, it leaves a smear that is hard to clear. The seller is prompt and the product arrived well packaged. I'm a bit surprised that the LensPEN company doesn't come after these folks for copyright infringement. I wouldn't buy again. It's worth noting that the seller tried to get me to change my review for a $4 refund.
I don't believe this is a genuine LensPen. This one leaves a residue behind whereas I have a LenPen "micro" Pro and it is brilliant. Also I believe all real LensPens have the brand name on the pocket clip. Still, it's a nice brush for $3.
Quick and Easy way to remove smudges and dust from SLR Cameras and Lenses.
Note:
When Amazon was out of stock, I ordered from a 3rd party vendor, Eforcity and received a counterfeit product. It wasn't the same high quality as the original Lens Pen and it went back to that vendor for a refund. I reordered from Amazon and received the correct product. So beware of counterfeits that are not of the same quality. I have used the NIKON version of the Lens Pen and it is identical, except for red vs. yellow plastic with black and of course, the higher price.
This is a great cleaning option to keep handy. I too have stuck with cleaning fluid and tissue, and will continue for thorough cleaning, but having this tool in my bag is very convenient.
The brush is great and the pad seems to remove smudges well.
With the first use I saw excess cleaning solution on the filter, but subsequent usage shows no signs of excess or streaking.
Highly recommended for portable cleaning.
I order a Lenspen lens cleaning system by "LensPEN" from Amazon marketplace(HDE). I received the item and tried it on my lens, believe me my lens looks very bad after using it. I think I got an duplicate product because nowhere it says the manufacturer as "LensPEN". Be careful in choosing the seller.
Some people have complained about getting a knock off but as long as you purchase it directly from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller, be assured that it is the real thing. See the third image for the one I received versus the fake one (second image). It does its job and is no different from all the old Lenspens I have used before. Good price, good product. Any carbon particles can be blown off with a rocket blower or with a similar contraption.
I searched Amazon for "LensPEN LP-1" (the actual product name) and was brought to the page for this item. This is NOT a real LensPEN. It is a cheap Chinese knock-off. If you want the original item, keep searching because this isn't it. I don't know if this item actually works, because I won't risk using it on my very expensive equipment.'

Lens Accessory - camera accessories, digital rebel
I keep losing my lens caps and bought 2 of these - they are exactly the same as my original lens cap that came with my Canon Rebel. I'm very happy with this purchase and I'm sure I will be buying more of these. Canon E58 Snap-on Lens Cap
This is exactly what I needed. It is the OEM lens cap for my Canon Rebel XTi. It actually appears to stay on better than the original. I would have given it an extra star if the good people at Canon would create a tether to attach to the camera body. The after market tethers have mixed reviews -- so I am not sure I will be buying one of those. I will try my best to hang on to this one.
Lens caps were not OEM,although Amazon display implies that they were. Although they do fit the lens, they are even more easily dislodged than the already substandard OEM E85 lens caps, which is a low hurdle indeed! Only positive comment is that the replacement price better matches the poor quality of the replacement compared to the(Canon's) very over-priced originals (by a factor of 2.5X) Even with care bordering on the paranoid , I have managed to have 3 caps lost with only weekend usage over an 8 month period.(And, that refers to the original poorly designed Canon caps. Don't expect much protection from these replacements either)
FOLLOW-UP: I was immediately contacted by the vendor( fivestarexperience) after this negative review with an offered postage-paid refund for the items if returned , or simple credit for order minus S/H. This is a very inexpensive product, not worth the trouble to do either. But the offer did change my opinion/estimation of the vendor! Thank You.! I'd recommend the vendor and would use again. My review of all E58 lens caps and pricing is rather "glum", however.
This is a complex evaluation that mixes both product quality as advertised and vendor...so draw your own conclusion: Product - , Vendor ++ . - Lens Accessory - Canon - Digital Rebel - Camera Accessories'

Cuisinart Gr-4 Griddler - kitchen gadgets, electric grill
This is, in my opinion, the best of the George Foreman grills.
It functions perfectly. The removable plates lock into place fairly well and do not slide around very much. It is incredibly easy to clean even without removing the plates.
The adjustable temperature and timers make cooking a lot easier when you don't have to guess at the actual temperature, like you do with so many of the other George Foreman grills.
It is sturdy, well built, and is designed to last. It fits easily onto a countertop, and I have had no problems with it whatsoever.
The one quibble I have is that the Bistro Grill does not actually shut off after it has been turned on for use, even if you press the power button again. You have to unplug it to get it to stop heating, and this is apparently by design according to the manual. This is counter-intuitive, and definitely not the way it should work. Pressing the power button should be a toggle. Press once, it turns on. Press a second time, it should turn *off*.
I bought this grill as a replacement for a "Ready-Set-Go" that was a piece of junk that fell apart after only a couple of uses. I really liked having a counter-top grill though, so i thought I'd give this Foreman a try! WoW! Am I glad I did! Grilled some Maple/Dijon/BBQ Glazed Salmon the first night, and it came out better than when I use my professional outdoor grill. I love the interchangable grill, deepdish, and muffin grill plates. The kids loved the deep dish pizza too! Now, if I can get George to offer an omlet and tiny muffins plate like I had with the "Ready-set-Go" this thing would be perfect. It's easy to use, quick and easy to clean with the removable plates, and versatile. Bottom line: buy it! ...and enjoy!
This grill is quick and versatile. Temperature and time controls are very simple. All grilling/baking plates are very easy to remove and pop in the dishwasher. Thus no greasy cleanup after burgers, etc. At this price a more complete cookbook should be included, since cooking is done on both sides and cooking time is much shorter than other methods.
This has been a great tool for me. I still prefer using a flame grill but when time or weather doesn't allow for it (which is quite often) this is a great alternative. I have used it to cook chicken, fish, steak, burgers, turkey breast (both ground in the deep dish attachment and fillet on the grill attachment) and have baked muffins in the muffin attachment. I have been pleased with the results of all items cooked except for the steaks. It may just be me needing to get the cooking method down but my steaks are only OK when using this. I am going to be purchasing a couple of the attachments soon so I can have waffles and mini burgers. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.
Ok, so after some extensive research I bought this a couple months ago. Overall I'm a big fan. I love cooking and this baby makes some things so much simpler. You all know what the deal is with what it can and cannot do, but here's my take on it.
Pros,
-Large area, able to cook for several people at once
-Temperature control and timer a big plus, and an improvement over the last model I had (I forget which it was)
-Tiltable for easy cooking of steaks and other things that should not have runoff.
-INTERCHANGABLE PLATES makes cleaning so much easier.
Cons,
-Really short power cord is just aggravating
-THIS MODEL DOES NOT SUPPORT THE WAFFLE IRON PLATES, which I find ridiculous. I bought it with the expectation that I could buy the waffle plates afterwards, especially because they are both 84sq inch models. I want waffles!
The GRP4EMB George Foreman Grill with the deep bake pan and interchangeable grill plates has become the second most used appliance on my counter, after the microwave. I'd done on-line research to find a reliable product that would have the functionality of cookers with removable upper and lower grills similar to what are advertised on TV, but which would be well-made and reliable. This item seemed like the best thing out there, but it was new and there weren't many reviews available. I took a chance on it because the George Foreman name implies a level of quality. I've had this thing for about three months now and it's great. I cook with it almost every day, and sometimes several times a day.
The waffle plates were not included, and I bought them separately from Amazon. Contrary to what another reviewer said, they fit fine. You have to make sure you get the waffle plates that go with this model.
The deep dish baker is superior to a toaster oven because you can bake items in sauce. For example, you can make a small lasagna that feeds two in less than half an hour by using two layers of the no-boil type lasagna pasta and adding a large can of tomato sauce for moisture and whatever filling you want. I also use the deep dish pan to bake olive oil drizzled broccoli or asparagus, Rachel Ray style. The deep dish does a good job baking frozen biscuits (8 at a time), and other frozen convenience items like fish sticks and chicken strips.
The coating on the grills is the usual George Foreman hard non-stick metal type, and stands up well to repeated washing.
My only complaint (and this is minor) is that the cook time only goes up to 20 minutes. I sometimes have to keep an eye on the timer and add additional minutes before the cook time is up. - Kitchen Gadgets - Electric Grill - George Foreman Grill - Easy'

Streaming Video - blu-ray disc players, lg
I was pleasantly surprised with the LG BD630! You get a whole LOT for the money! I am going to try and pick this thing apart somewhat in this review , so if you are interested then Read On Mc Duff!
I purchased this unit for my 81 year old father who has taken to watching Xvid and MKV files from the internet, usually documentaries on WW2 and other history programs. Of course he also watches DVD's but has not until now delved into Blu Ray or Netflix streaming. I needed something for him that had a very easy to follow menu system and worked WELL with a minimum of glitches.
The player itself is very basic on the outside. The BD630 features an on/off , eject, play/pause and stop buttons on it's face and a USB slot covered with a little rubber trap door on the right hand side with the disc drawer in the middle. It doesn't exactly exude high build quality on first glance, but what makes this little player SO good is the software inside. (more on that very soon) Mind you, it isn't totally cheap looking and as the saying goes good things can and DO come in small packages.
This is a very small (not very deep) unit and also a very lightweight one. It came packed with a decent PRINTED manual , basic cabling (you will need an HDMI or Component cable) and a functional remote that uses only 1 AAA cell, also included. It comes with a couple of printed adverts for Netflix and even a small sticker on the top of the unit that screams NETFLIX at you. (easily removed) The power cable is attached. You get composite video out, stereo RCA audio outs , Component Video and HDMI Out , a Coax Digital Audio out and a LAN port for connecting to your home network if you wish to use the Netcast features such as Netflix and You Tube.
Being at the low end of the LG food-chain, this particular player is NOT DLNA enabled and to play your video files (other than blu ray and DVD) you must stream from a USB device be it a thumb drive or external hard drive. You can not connect this unit via the Ethernet connection to your computer. LG starts including THAT feature a few more models UP from this one. I guess that is understandable given the price point.
The connectivity is very good really, you can use this device with everything from an analogue standard TV all the way up to 1080p HDTV and your audio options are just as good with the analogue stereo outs, or the Coax digital which can handle up to 5.1 Dolby Digital or DTS and the HDMI which can pass thru the uncompressed Dolby TruHD or DTS Master Audio tracks that accompany much of the blu ray releases. You can set the Video output to match your TV resolution, set picture aspect ratio to play 4:3 programs as is or to stretch them to fill your screen. The USB port can be used to connect a USB thumb drive or even an external hard drive. It isn't too picky about the formatting of the drive and can also support up to 4 drive partitions. That alone is amazing for the price and a nice touch.
This brings me to my first and only MAJOR complaint about this machine. It is SO lightweight than when you plug in your USB drive or cable to it, the unit itself tends to push backwards. Perhaps adding some non slip little rubber feet to the bottom with a couple drops of super glue would easily solve that.
Just be aware that if you are not careful, you run the risk of knocking the thing over when accessing that feature. Note: To access any BD Live features you may wish to download and view, a USB drive is required as there apparently is minimal onboard memory. I personally disable BD Live on every machine I have as this tends to slow loading times.
Set up took less than two minutes after connections were made. The machine boots quickly. Easily as quickly as my Oppo BDP-80. Things got VERY interesting when I loaded a Java heavy Blu Ray disc and it loaded VERY quickly. I can honestly say this machine loads a Blu Ray disc FASTER than my Oppo (a nice fast machine) and that blew me away just to see it happen. Playback was as expected. GREAT! DVD up-conversion to 1080p was average for a new machine today, but better than average for machines only a year or so old. And the disc tray itself is solid and goes in and out without any sort of loud rattle of worrisome grinding noises. (a complaint for some Oppo BDP-80 and 83 users)
The Netflix GUI is about the same as on the current crop of LG TV's. Your performance is going to depend more on your internet connection and speed than the LG software which in my opinion is very good. Navigating my Instant Queue was a bit sluggish but I have the same problem on ANY of my Netflix enabled devices. Once you start playback and it loads, things work just the way you would expect and want them to.
It is noteworthy to mention I had NO problems at all playing DVD-R and CD-R discs. Discs containing Xvid and other video file types also loaded quickly and played perfectly. Just for fun I put in a region free Pal disc and it spit it back out with an on screen message telling me it was the wrong region. (I had to try) So basically, this thing will play ANYTHING I or my Dad owns EXCEPT for Pal. OH well, you can't have everything!
Basically, it works and works well. You can update the firmware via the LAN port or by downloading from the LG site and burning a disc or putting it on a USB drive which is what I did before attempting to play anything. Time will tell if LG continues to support this machine with further firmware updates as they become needed to play some of the more Java intensive titles such as the new Alien discs. If updating firmware intimidates you, find someone you know who is an old hand at it and let THEM do it so you don't accidentally 'brick' your player. Really, it isn't that difficult. (just don't turn the machine off while updating)
I personally own an LG 47 inch LE 5400 television and as expected the software in the BD630 is almost identical for playing computer files, mp3's looking at photos, etc. IN some aspects , they have improved the software and I was duly impressed. It is smooth, easy to see what you are doing with logically laid out screens , easy to identify the individual file names and the transport controls are solid and responsive when playing everything from an Xvid to a 720p or 1080i Mkv file. We didn't have any 1080p files to test so I can only speak for the others. They all loaded reasonable fast and played glitch free. Pause and resume worked perfectly. You can access the info screen while playing the file. Audio synch was a non issue. Basically this is everything a person could want in local media file playback. (6-7-11 EXCEPT playing Divx files, see my update below) Try as I could, I encountered NO glitches of any type other than having to set our Harmony remote response time to shorter as it was giving double commands for the left and right direction buttons.
Just the local media file playing ability of this unit alone is worth the purchase price. Add THAT with great Blu Ray playback, VERY fast loading times (depends on the Blu Ray title as some discs will load quicker than others) more than decent DVD up-conversion , Netflix streaming and much more and I think LG has a winner at a price point you just can't argue with. I remember just a few years ago Sony was selling their flagship Blu Ray Player for 999.00 and it didn't do 25% of what THIS machine can do. Good stuff and a FULL one year warranty for Parts AND Labor!
Oh yeah, my 81 year old father is having NO trouble making this thing work at all. I just caught him playing a HD video file that he had loaded himself and I thought to myself "now THAT is user friendly" !! If I run into any future problems or software glitches with this thing I will update this review and add whatever else I have learned.
UPDATE 5-13-11 The LG is still going strong. We have yet to run into any file that will not play and unlike some reviewers have not experienced any player malfunctions with standard DVD playback including my Lord of The Rings extended editions. NO freezes, disc jams or failure to loads encountered so far. I still stand by my earlier statement regarding the Blu Ray disc load times. They ARE faster than my Oppo BDP-80 which is pretty fast to begin with.
IMPORTANT UPDATE 6-7-11 I found out the hard way last night that this player does NOT support any Divx files. I should have read the spec sheet more carefully as they do not list Divx as a supported codec. SO if you want to play any Divx encoded files you will need to 'trans-code' them using a program like Handbrake (freeware) and change it into a codec the player DOES recognize. I was surprised to find this out as my LG HDTV WILL PLAY files with the Divx file extension. Go figure! SO FAR this is the ONLY type of video file I have run into that will not play. (Apparently LG didn't want to pay the licensing fee to Divx) LG BD630 Network Blu-ray Disc Player - Lg - Blu-ray Disc Players - Streaming Video - Netflix'

Laptop Battery - mac battery, white
My roommate had a older-model macbook with a battery that could maybe last 5 minutes without the charger. Since he never really needed it off the charger and the cost of the official battery is outrageous, I figured I'd surprise him with a gift to help a fellow mac user.
This battery installed decently enough. The color and the fit were not quite right, but it's hardly noticeable; unless you like starring at the bottom of your computer that is.
My biggest complaint was that his battery wasn't recognized as present in the OS. Sure, it works, but without knowing how much power there is left in the thing, it's kinda worthless. The only indication we get is the power button on the battery itself, which requires turning the thing over and pressing it. This maybe due to the fact that he's running Tiger, but I don't know.
Anyway, it was a risk worth the money, but it didn't really change anything, so if I could do it again, I'd pass. Extended Capacity 5600 mAh Laptop Battery For Apple Macbook 13" Series
I have had trouble with Apple batteries for my 13" Macbook. The batteries seem to rapidly lose their charge
capacity, my last one was down to about 1 minute, so I thought I would try a 3rd party battery. It worked well for the first couple of days, holding a charge and was a reasonable fit. On day 3 however it would not allow the start-up procedure for my computer when turning it on. I had to remove the battery and us the ac wall plug only or it would never start up. Also, as others have noted, the computer is not able to calculate the amount of time left on a charge and many times the computer does not recognize the battery as being installed. It seems these two issues are widespread and should be corrected by the manufacturer. I have returned the battery, customer service seems responsive - I am hoping they will replace with a battery capable of starting up and running my macbook, I will post an update when I receive the new battery.
Alright! People are saying that it "doesn't fit right." It is a slightly different shade of white, fits a little TINY bit crooked, but who cares? It's $40 and it allows me to use my macbook without my power supply connected for at least a few hours at a time. If you aren't super concerned with how the underside of your mac looks, then get this battery. This battery holds a charge for three to four hours usually, and generally shows the correct amount of usage time left. Although it isn't as long as I used to get with my original mac battery, it's better than having my laptop come unplugged and having it shut off. I say, for $40, this is a great replacement battery.
Okay my battery was out on the Mac for awhile but come on who is really crazy enough to buy a battery for $120 when you have tablets coming out for close to it. LOL! Its not the perfect fit but you not looking at the back it doesn't buldge out and guess what it holds a charge. The price is reasonable and it didn't say it was apple so hey. Since I have had it I haven't had any complaints. Its a battery and it works so now I am mobile again.
This is a very good product. It works well with the exception that the battery time remaining is inaccurate which has caused the trusty Mac go to sleep without notice. However I would definitely not pay more for the battery at the Apple store, since my brother did and his has the same problem.
So this battery works, but that's about the extent of the good things. It doesn't match the color of the MacBook. It doesn't sit flush in the battery slot. I've got a battery again, but everytime I touch the bottom of the laptop it feels like something's wrong. - Mac Battery - White - Macbook Battery - Sunvalleytek'

Household Supplies - irobot, battery
I bought this battery for my Scooba after the warranty expired, because I figured that it would probably invalidate the warranty. This battery works as advertised.
I have only one issue -- it doesn't seat quite as well as the original battery, and it might be very slighty larger. Be extra careful when you install it. I wasn't, and the battery got stuck in the Scooba tank; it was hard to open the Scooba and get it straightened out. But no problems since then. Tenergy Replacement Battery for iRobot Scooba 5900
Bought one of these back in October. Charged it when I got the battery, and it worked fine. Then the Scooba was parked for several months with the battery removed. Started using the Scooba again a month ago. Everything fine. Used Scooba 3 times, Now the battery will not charge. Only 6 month warranty on Battery. I will buy my next one from iRobot. Learned my lesson. Oh and the battery does not want to stay snapped in either. You can also tell it is lower quality than iRobot's battery. The battery contacts are flimsy etc..
Like another reviewer, I cannot get this battery to properly fit into my Scooba. I have been able to get it in, but every time I open the lid, the battery sticks in the lid rather than staying in its place, or the lid of the Scooba doesn't snap down properly, which causes the water not to be sucked back up into the dirty tank. It's probably only 1/16" wrong-sized, but that's enough. I am trying to get Tenergy to take it back.
The first time that I needed a replacement battery for my Scooba, I bought it from Amazon from the people that sell a "cerified Scooba battery." When I got that one, it went dead in a matter of weeks. I complained to that company and they said that they hadn't had any complaints from anyone but me. They wouldn't do anything else to help me. I then bought this replacement battery and I have had it ever since. It works great! Just the way it should and it is almost half the price!
I've used this battery for a few weeks. It is every bit as effective as the OEM battery, and then some. The OEM battery would last two tanks, and this replacement lasts slightly more than two tanks. It's less than half the cost of buying a replacement directly from irobot, so it's a good deal if you need a battery for your Scooba 5900. - Scooba Battery - Irobot - Roomba - Battery'

Remote-control Extenders - ir, ir repeater
MY father recently remodelled his home, and had all the electronics hard wired behind the walls. It's a real clean installaltion, however all the equipment (reciever, cable, DVD, CD etc) are all out of infrared range.
After figuring out he needed a universal remote, as well as needing r/f capability, the search was on for his christmas present. I had a lot of trouble finding a universaal remote that would set up easily for him, has well as have the R/F capability.
In the end, i opted for the infrared remote i really wanted, and the x-10 system. the leapfrog system appeared to have a few bad reviews, and i figured spending the extra money might make the difference (only like $10)
Turned out to be a great decision. I was concerned about the system b/c the front of all the components in the media closet are very close to the door. I purchased 2 extra extender eyes (plug into the back of the R/F recieving unit, and can be stuck right on the I/R eye of your component) but i didn't even need them. One pyramid in the closet ssomehow still controls all the componants w/o even being in direct line of sight of the i/r eye on each piece of equipment.
I would reccomend buying an extra transmitter (the pyramid w/o the antenna) as you might want to be able to control from other places once you see how convenient this is. My dad has 2, one in the living room, and one in the kitchen, if he wants to control music while cooking. he'll probably end up with another for the patio outside during the summer months.
overall, highly reccomended product. X10 POWERMID Remote Control Extender Kit PM5900
I tried other units that people said worked great, but where they got away with a lesser unit, for me, the Powermid was only one that worked reliably.
First, I tried the RadioShack #15-2550 which has the same problem that others have identified with the Terk Technologies LF-IRX and that relates to range and accuracy. If you can position your remote-receiver close (5-6 ft away) in a location that you point at straight on, then these lesser units may meet your requirements. In my case I am trying to hit both the IR extender and my projector (which are perhaps 20 degrees a part) from 10-15 feet. The Powermid unit worked flawlessly, first time, in every location of my room.
On the other hand, I tried the RadioShack unit in some 6 locations and never got it to work consistently unless I stood 4 feet away from it and shot my remote straight at it. Much like a Amazon review of the Terk unit on 9/28/04 by Matt.
Another benefit of the Powermid is that each unit has an AC power cord rather than a bulky 12v adapter.
One noteworthy thing about the Powermid solution: it is so sensitive the receiver and transmitter must not "see" each other even at a distance, otherwise they will go into a continuous signal repeat. I avoided this by carefully placing a opaque cover over one side of my receiver.
For the extra $10, save yourself time, get the Powermid.
I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. Most of the reviews I have read about the Powermid are where someone put their A/V gear in a closet in the next room or in the basement directly below the living room. These weren't very helpful to me in solving my problem. I want to control my TiVo in the living room from my bedroom. The bedroom is about 45' away from the living room, and there is a right angle in the hallway connecting the two rooms. The radio signal has to penetrate no less than 3 walls to reach the receiver.
I read such glowing reviews of the Powermid, I thought I might as well give it a try. It probably couldn't be any worse than the IR/Radio repeater set I paid about 25% more for at Radio Shack. The Radio Shack unit was horribly unreliable, had to be positioned and repositioned and I would have to hold the remote at a funny angle right in front of the transmitter to get it to work. And then it was intermittent at best.
The Powermid works flawlessly. I plugged it in, and it just works. Every click works every time. I have the receiver/IR emitter up high on a shelf, not even directly aimed at the TiVo. The transmitter sits across the bedroom from where I have the remote. I think the Powermid's stellar performance is due in part to the reasonably sized antenna on the receiver unit. No visible antenna on the transmitter unit improves the aesthetics. The power supply is via a standard 110-volt cable, no floor slugs or wall warts, and the cords are plenty long.
Works very well. My transmitter sits on the mantle beneath my LCD and the receiver is on the top shelf in a cabinet with my A/V equipment. Only two negatives. The receiver is elevated compared with my seating position and I found that tilting the Powermid toward me improved performance from a longer distance. I suspect the shape of the Powermid may cause this. Why not just make it square. I guess they would have to change the name. The other neg is that it is not a real long distance performer. At least from remote control to transmitter. I start having problems at about 25ft. I could set the transmitter closer to me and it worked fine but I never could get used to pointing the remote away from the TV to make my cable box and A/V work. I like it near the TV and can live with its limitations.
Still, its a solid product. - Ir Repeater - Rf Remote - Ir - Extender'

This sports bra ROCKS! I ordered size Large and the support and styling is great! Still "scoops together" as any sports bra does BUT I used to get the cheap generic one style for all but I LOVE this and this will be the only sports bra style I need.! Champion Women's Fitness Cami Bra,Black,Medium
This sports bra is more of a compression than support bra. I if you are larger than a C cup, forget this one. Probably best for A & B. I am a 38B/C and the large is a little tight. I feel totally squished. The quality and price are excellent.
I'm a 36D so I ordered the large. It fits fine around my torso, but seems to have no room for the "girls". I have had better luck with other Champion camis, this one just seems to be cut a bit too small. It's probably perfect for A or B cup sizes.
I needed a support bra that would support during high impact activities and this is perfect. Very comfortable and contours to your body shape. Fits true to size and is great for tennis and running and holds the girls in place.
This bra is sturdy and comfortable. I usually am a B cup, but now I am pregnant and I am pretty sure I have increased to a C. Nevertheless, this size Medium still seems to do the job for me and my continued efforts to run and jump. Good buy!
I found this bra does run small. I am normally a 32 B and the small is quite snug. I'm not overweight so unless you are skin and bones I would suggest getting the next size up. Otherwise, it has pretty decent support. The tags say for medium impact, but if you are lesser-endowed (like myself) it works just fine for high impact sports. The styling is very nice and it had a rip-away tag which is always a plus!
This is the perfect workout bra for me. It's got great coverage, but not too much. I usually feel suffocated in workout bras, but I could wear this all the time. It's so comfortable, and is the perfect amount of support. Luckily, I know the right size for me, but if you don't I wouldn't recommend buying it online. I'm a 36C and the large fits perfectly.'

Notebook
Call me a geek, but I do love graph paper, even if it's just for meeting notes. I really like this pad, with perforation at the top to cleanly remove the pages if you wish. The paper is thick enough to be able to write with a fine felt-tip point and the ink doesn't bleed through (which it does terribly on a typical legal pad). I definitely plan to buy more of these. Silverpoint Top Wire Pad, Heavy Back, Quadrille Rule, 8.5 x 11.75 Inches, 70 Sheets, Protective Cover, Blue/Black (51070)
I've been using quadrille pads for a while now. I find them very useful not only for doing math problems and sketching graphs, but also for doodling and note-taking.
This particular pad stands out for its durability, the thickness and quality of its pages, and the top wire which stays out of the way.
They're cheap, so just buy one and see what it does for you.
I love to do my list making on quadrille rule paper because they end up looking so neat. These notebooks are great for what I use them for. They also have so many other functions if I ever need grid paper for something.'

Lever Back Earrings - celtic jewelry, jewelry
These earrings are so pretty. They are light weight and so beautiful. They are very feminine. The hooks stay in your ears very well, much better than the other earrings Ive had from walmart or target. I was so pleased with these earrings I ordered another pair right away within minutes of trying on my first pair. They arrived very fast to my home packaged up in a cute little silver box. These are just stunning.
Ive ordered two of these earrings now and they both arrived in cute little silver boxes. They simply match with most if not all of my jewelry because the design is simple yet elegant. LWES005 Sterling Silver Wavy Design French Ear Wire Hook 1.5" Dangle Earrings
The earrings from Gem Avenue were perfect for my 15 year old niece (actually I would wear them, too). The were just as described and came packaged in a small gift box so they were not damaged in any way. They are unique yet can be worn with a dress and heels or jeans and sneakers. The company filled my order quickly, I received it in 2 or 3 days and could not be more pleased. I will definitely order again from this seller and recommend them to my friends.
I bought these earrings as a gift for our grown daughter for Christmas, and she as well as her sister-in-laws absolutely loved them. The sparkle and shine to them is beautiful. Anyone getting these will be very pleased.
LWES005 Sterling Silver Wavy Design French Ear Wire Hook 1.5" Dangle Earrings [ASIN: B000QTH0B2]
I just got these earrings over the weekend. I thought they looked cute enough in the picture but really fell in love with them when they arrived. They're just gorgeous and not so over the top that you couldn't wear them with most outfits. I'm really excited about this purchase. - Jewelry - Celtic Jewelry - Crystal Earrings - Silver'
