Dewalt
I bought similar nails at the local big-box store before I knew that finish nailers weren't all designed at the same feed angle. Those nails didn't work in my DeWalt D51275K nailer, but these did. Would be useful if Amazon would specify the angle or the list of tools it will fit explicitly, as Senco does on the package. Senco A302000 15-Gauge by 2-Inch Bright Basic Finish Nail
I have been shooting these nails in my Porter Cable Bammer for a few years now and I haven't had any problems. Though I don't use my tools for a living, I am an avid woodworker and home renovator. As such I would say that in the past 5 years I have shot a thousand or so of these nails through my P-C Bammer gun and I can count the times it misfired on one hand. As long as the gun is set properly you should have no problems with jamming or with setting these nails below the surface of the wood.
With the good experience I have had, I can easily recommend these as a good buy!
IF THERE IS A PERFECT SIZE NAIL THIS IS IT.THE 2" ACCUSET NAIL IS JUST ABOUT PERFECT FOR ANY JOB YOU HAVE.I'VE USED IT TO NAIL HARDWOOD FLOORING DOWN,BASEMOLDING,DOOR MOULDING AND I CAN CAN GO ON AND ON.GOOD NAIL GOOD PRICE..'

Dw735 Planer - benchtop planers, dewalt
I run a small cabinet shop, we had need of a secondary smaller planer...looked at, used, borrowed, several kinds before springing for this one (dint buy from amazon directly, this is a better deal with tables and knives ) We got about 200brd ft of knotty hickory on both sides, a hundy of knotty alder before blades began to show nicks, leaving small lines. When the knives are sharp, we get a better surface than on my $3500 powermatic 15" molder planer. Im initially very satisfied, just wish i could get better longer lasting blades...at $35bucks a pop you almost have to figure a set per job. Set up was easy, snipe is minimal, you CANT get it all out, atleast not on mine, and the rollers are not perfectly parallel with the table, one side does feed slightly better, but not adjustable as far as i can tell. Its better than any others ive tried in the under $1000 category, ymmv DeWalt 13" Two-Speed Planer Package
This is my second DeWalt DW735. First one was accidently damaged beyond repair after 6 years of use. This one included the infeed and outfeed shelves which are definitely a big asset. The screws to mount the shelves were already in place, just snapped them on, attached the handle and ready to go. Ran 12 inch wide by 4 foot long walnut through it, no snipe, finish smooth as glass. Great improvement over my first DW735 which didn't include the shelves.
I've used this planer to dimension oak that I milled from my property and so far it works great! Plenty of power and no snipe notiiced. I was currently using a benchtop Ryobi AP1301 Benchtop Planer and while this one also had plenty of power and was considerably less, it produced snipe at the ends of my boards which I had to cut off with my miter saw. To some reviewers this is probably not a big deal, but with all of the hard work and sweat going into my milling my wood, I don't want any waste. I've only used the dimensioning setting on the DeWalt since they recommend this for hardwoods. This unit from Tool King through Amazon.com was the best value I could find that included an extra pair of knives and the support tables. I believe it is a great value that I'll get many years of service.
The Dewalt DW735X Thickness Planer is the best on the market today. It works exactly as advertised. Simple to set up, and operate, with near perfect results every time, with any type of wood. I'm totally satisfied with this product. Keep up the good work!!! - Dewalt - Dw735 - Benchtop Planers - Thickness Planer'

120hz Refresh Rate - lcd, hdtv
First off, this review is based on the TV, price paid, and features it has, i.e. "value for the money". That said, this is a great TV with a good picture (but I have not done a side-by-side comparison with other HDTVs). Games play fine, not sure why others had problems...maybe they did not do the set-up correctly. TV does have a "Game" mode which is supposed to help any lag one might experience, and under advanced picture mode, you can set the "Smooth Motion Effect" to various levels. One of the main reasons I purchased this TV was that Vizio is one of the few manufacturers that list the power usage of their TVs without having to do a lot of searching, which was important to me. I have owned this TV for about a week.
Side note: Too bad one of the first reviews gave this TV a bad rating based on perceived lag which is not true. But first reviews always get the most votes because they are automatically put at the top, which is a catch twenty-two, because that tends to keep them at the top (people vote most for the first few reviews they see, thereby keeping them on top).
PROS:
Price
Great value
Easy setup
Light weight (this thing only weighs 67 pounds, but TV is about 5" thick)
Picture quality...very nice picture (but did not check out 1080P)
Energy Star 4...uses only 138 watts (THIS IS A BIG ONE, will save you a lot of money!) Edit 12/19/2010-see below.
CONS (minimal):
Sound is not the best, but still pretty good
No direct hookup to online media (i.e. Netflix, etc.) (but of course I knew this, I just use my DVD player)
Style is good, not great (but still much BETTER than the original Vizios)
Minimal connections, 3 HDMI, and only 1 composite & AV, really s/b two each
No side connections-(except for 1 HDMI & USB) worst con in my opinion
Poor onboard TV controls (without remote) ...but I guess this is normal nowadays
And this is not part of the overall rating, but the Amazon TV information (specs), purchase, checkout, truck delivery time (to inside house) and setup was top-notch, I knew when the TV would be delivered (2 hour time frame) at time of purchase! No problems!! I would definitely buy this TV again.
Edit: 12/19/2010
I tried the video games Quake 4, Serious Sam and Super Mario World, still cannot perceive a lag. I am no game expert, but I have not found any problem.
Also hooked up a "Kill A Watt" to check power usage, watts used when off = 0...Good! Watts used when on and using zoom (full screen) ranged from 160 to 200 with the average in between (mostly 170 to 180)...Not so Good! This is higher than I hoped but still good for such a large TV. But I wonder how they got the advertised 138 watts?
Edit: 1/23/2011
Per the site: [...] this TV is rated at 152 watts. The maximum wattage an energy star 4.1 TV of this size can use to qualify is 178 watts. VIZIO E550VL 55-inch Full HD 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV
This is a good, low priced TV, no frills but a good basic big TV. The problems the other reviews talk about, with video lag and processing that takes away the film-look bothered me right away as well, and give the images a very weird effect. I thought maybe it was just me, or I wasn't used to a good quality picture, but whatever it was was not good. I really noticed it with fast motion sports, a football in the air was jittery and choppy. But there is a solution - on the second page of the TV Picture setting (select "more" at the bottom of the first Picture screen) there is a setting called Smooth Motion. Turn it off, and turn the Smooth Motion DEMO off. Problem solved, no more lag, jitters, and the film grain is back in the image.
We purchased this from a different retailer for 1399 around Jan 2010. It looks amazing in hi def with broadcasts like Glee, Marriage Ref, or regular DVDs.
Counter to the other reviews, The playstation looks awesome too, Full 1080P. I haven't noticed unplayable issues of lag, & I game online all the time. There was lag when I went through my receiver first via HDMI enough to notice in guitar hero or rock band, so I plug in directly ps3 to TV now for video because of that. I can't help but wonder if that kid knew how to hook up his game console. Hint: if it isn't with an HDMI cable, then you aren't seeing HiDef 1080 correctly. We've had nothing but jaw dropping fan reviews from our picture, people always want to come back and play/watch some more.
Vizios also have ability to turn off speakers and have more adjustments to audio, this is good, as I rarely use the TVs speakers. Had a friend tell me his new Sony wouldn't let him do that.
Cons: this TV can see through green screens... making fake shots look even more fake. I've tried to adjust it myself, but came back to default settings which looked better than mine. It brightens movies, losing that film effect, making movies look more like soap operas or camcorder shots. I suspect 'backlight' to be the cause of this, but again, I was never happy with my adjustments to make it better. another thing, when the screen is really bright, and I can see a fault in the 'plastic film' near part of the screen, a fold. I'd have to point it out to you it's so minor and you wouldn't see it 99 percent of the time, but it was a fault in my particular tv.
My panasonic Viera picture is slightly better & less bright, but I would make this purchase again over & over.(especially at the new price!)
I wasn't TV shopping when Amazon last had this TV on Cyber Monday for $899. When I started shopping, it was up to $988, which was still good, but I didn't pull the trigger. I ended up buying locally at CompUSA/Tiger Direct during a 2-day sale for $899. So even with tax, I was happy to be able to bring it home immediately and avoid the possibility of delivery issues other reviewers have mentioned.
About the picture: Right out the box, with the factory settings, the picture is crisp and very nice! Looked better than it did in the store! Set up was VERY easy. Take it out, set up to the cable box, pull off plastic, turn it on, watch TV. Took just a few minutes. Now that I've had it a few days, I've experimented with all the settings other have mentioned. There are enough picture options for standard viewing, movies, different sports, and games that everyone will find something useful. Picture will be a matter of taste, so use other reviewer's suggestions to narrow down on settings to your liking. I still have to swap out my current cable box for HDTV programming, so I can only imagine how good it will look if regular programming looks this good!
As far as limited inputs, that is true, but all I needed was a good looking big flat panel TV. I plan only to add a blu ray and Wii, so this TV more than fits my needs. I compared plasma, LCD, LED, and looked at TVs with internet applications. If you plan to add a lot of equipment and want all those internet applications, you may need to go with something with more HDMI input. I decided against plasma because I found dwindling availability. It seems LCD/LED is the way to go. I went LCD over LED for cost, and I prefer the less glossy picture that it offers over plasma. This TV replaced a big (but nice) 200lb HDTV rear projection, which costs me $2000 6 years ago and is worth just pennies today. At that time, plasma and DLP started at $4000. Very few DLP being sold, and similarly sized plasma can now be had for $700, so I'm glad I didn't spend $4000 back then! I didn't break the bank to go LCD, and saved quite a bit over a similarly sized LED.
It's big, it's nice looking, it has a crisp picture, and it's not a heavy monster. This TV will fit most people's needs. But whatever you decide, don't overbuy. Don't spend hundreds for features you will not use. Prices continue to come down as technology evolves. - Hdtv - Vizio - 120hz - Lcd'

Night Treatments - roc, anti-aging
I'm 32, and the only telling thing about my age are the serious wrinkles on my brow. I decided to try this as it wasn't too expensive (look at Strivectin - ouch!) and thought even a small improvement would be worth the price. I have to say, I'm shocked. After about two weeks, I saw noticeable changes, and it's now been about 6 weeks, and the improvement has been tremendous. The wrinkles on my forehead are almost gone. I'll definitely be purchasing more.
Like some of the other reviews, there are areas this shouldn't go, like around the eyes. Be careful about that, as it created a little redness, not bad, but it really dried out my skin and caused flaking, which too about a week to clear up. Again, no problems anywhere else, but in sensitive areas like the eyes, it's potency was obvious, and these areas couldn't take it. RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream, 1-Ounce Tube
I must say that I was skeptical about this, but for the low price versus department store cosmetics, figured it was worth a try. Amazingly, it really works quite well and MY WIFE LOVES IT!
After a few weeks, people were commenting that she looked less tired, asked if she had lost weight, been exercising or on vacation. Since it works gradually over a few weeks, you notice a bit of difference yourself, but the people who don't see you that often really notice a dramatic change. Smaller wrinkles are smoothed out and disappear completely, while large ones get smaller.
It won't make a 69 year old look 20, but definitely takes off a decade of wear and tear.
Don't think about using this if you have very dry skin, as the retinol which eases those fine lines also causes skin to flake and peel, and Never use any product not especially designed for the orbital area around your eyes. I had undergone laser resurfacing about nine years ago on my face, but at the time my doctor said the forehead didn't need it. Now it doesn't have the same smooth feel as the rest of the skin on my face, so I decided to try the ROC Over-night Deep Wrinkle cream. Been using it for several weeks, and it has lessened the lines and made my skin feel smoother, but I've had to use some heavy-duty moisturizer during the day to counteract the drying effects of the product. I've now stopped using it and am using Kinerase, which smooths out those lines but also moisturizes as well. Don't expect it to work overnight, it has a cumulative effect, but at least while you're using it, it hydrates the skin better than anything I've found yet, and it was recommended to me by the surgeon who did the lasering on my face. As far as the ROC product, I would recommend it for short-term use only, and not for those with dry skin issues, as it will only aggravate them.
I am a 52 year old female (will be 53 next week) who, for the past year has been distressed about my undereye area. I have huge hazel eyes which have always been one of my best features- the change you undergo with aging is not that drastic - but you begin to look tired. I finally decided to try something, and I have to say - the fact that this product has been around for awhile (I personally don't know anyone who uses it) AND THE PRICE (because of course it won't make any difference) made me pick this one from Eckerds. I have been using it for 9 days and I swear it is working! My undereye area is actually improving! This is especially noticable when my face is fully made up - I wonder how they will look after a couple of months of continuous use. I have even decided to try the cream for my face, although I really am not concerned about it yet - I figure it can't hurt- this product actually seems to improve the quality of your skin. I notice in the reviews that one customer had a problem with dryness - I am the exact opposite - my skin has always been extremely oily and I am going through menopause as well- (night sweats and day sweats too) I have NEVER been able to wear ANY kind of moisturizer- it caused me to break out with pimples! I am even thinking of getting my 76 year old mom (a former beauty queen) both of these products to try! I would definately recommend the eye cream! This is the first time I have ever written a review for this website - I really believe in this product! The company's catch phrase "we keep our promises" is dead on the money as far as this reviewer is concerned!!!!!!
I've read the reviews, with people raving about this product, so I'm sure it works for most people. However, this is definitely one product you need to be careful with. Test it over a weekend because if you are allergic, you are going to need the time to recover from it. My mom bought it first and after a few weeks of use, she'd had the tingling and some redness that the product says are normal until your skin adjusts. She didn't think anything about the cream until one day when she realized she was having a severe reaction to it. Her face swelled up like a balloon, and you could barely see her eyes. She took Benedryl in large doses to stop the reaction, and it took her about a week to look normal. She did not get it near her eyes. Her pharmacist said they are seeing lots of people with reactions to skin creams lately, so perhaps there is a new chemical that products are using. Your reaction will depend on your individual tolerances, and there's no other way to know unless you try it.
Since my mom is allergic to many things, and I am generally not, she gave the cream to me to try. For two nights, I tried it on a small portion of skin on my chin, and I had no problems. On Friday night, I put it on my forehead, chin, and below the cheekbones, to test it on a larger area away from the eyes. Wow, was my reaction different! Saturday, my eyes were red and felt a bit warm, and they watered a lot. By that night, I didn't apply it again because my tongue and lips tingled, along with my hands, and I knew it was a reaction to the cream. By midnight Saturday, 28 hours since I'd first applied it in a larger area, I was also getting out the Benedryl to stop the burning feeling. I'm writing this about 6pm Sunday, and I still feel tingling in my face and hands and tongue, my face feels tender and warm, and the skin on my eyelids and under my eyes is bright red. Believe me, I didn't get it anywhere near my eyes and I washed my hands after applying it.
It is a shame some of us react this way, and there are some people who will say we didn't apply it right, or test it properly. I know that in my case, that isn't true. I'm not sure what is in it that would cause this kind of severe reaction, but it is up to you to try it for yourselves. I'm not criticizing the product with my rating, but by rating it low, people might read a warning that could help them. As I told my mom, when our faces were swollen up, they are right - we have no wrinkles! - Anti-aging - Night Cream - Roc - Night Treatments'

Bostitch
We're in the process of installing 1000sq ft of prefinished oak flooring so I bought the Bostitch MIIIFOOT-KIT Factory Finish Flooring Adaptor to use with the Bostitch MIIIFN 1-1/2- to 2-Inch Pneumatic Flooring Nailer which I was ordering. It turns out that the nailer already includes the factory-finished flooring adapter. If you already own the Bostitch MIIIFN 1-1/2- to 2-Inch Pneumatic Flooring Nailer or the Bostitch MIIIFS 1-1/2-Inch to 2-Inch Pneumatic Floor Stapler AND do not have this adapter, then you will want to order this kit for installing factory-finished flooring.
If you are buying a new Bostitch MIIIFN 1-1/2- to 2-Inch Pneumatic Flooring Nailer or Bostitch MIIIFS 1-1/2-Inch to 2-Inch Pneumatic Floor Stapler check the item description carefully as this kit may already be included. Bostitch MIIIFOOT-KIT Factory Finish Flooring Adaptor
I never used the tool without having this part on it so can't tell you how IMPROVED it was. I will say that it worked well. Only missed on staple (put it right in the top of the board) so I quite for the day. THis flooring was easy to damage so I think this did very well.
This flooring adapter was purchased as an add on for a reconditioned Bostitch flooring stapler. It does what is says it does, protect the finish and the tongues of your pre-finished flooring. The wide base makes it easy to use you foot to stabilize the stapler from "bounce back". I found that the recommended method of tapping in the flooring using the area to either side of the foot didn't work as well as using a scrap piece of hardwood with the tongue cut off. This worked especially well when two people worked together.
Again, it works fine and is as advertised.'

Oakley Flak Jacket - sport sunglasses, sunglasses
Just received these Pit Bosses, today. The Packaging is very impressive. Too impressive, in fact. One might suspect that the elaborate packaging makes up a good portion of the ~$600.00 price tag. Glasses seem to be of fairly good quality but nothing spectacular. I expected a lot more, for the money. I'm a little bit disappointed that Oakley would market something like this.
The fit is very snug and could be uncomfortable, for long use. XX Metal (24K Gold Iridium) and Romeo (Polished, Black Iridium) are better quality, more comfortable and less expensive.
I'll add to this review, after extended wearing. For now, I'd recommend saving the $$$ and directing it to other Oakley products.
UPDATE; These Oakleys are very good functionally. Polarized lens does an excellent job of screening UV rays. The fit is actually OK for extended use. But, $600.00 worth of technology? Still a 'NO'. Magnesium - magnesium, lip balm
The problem, for me, with this oil is that it tastes so, for lack of a better word, gross. It was said to have a "nutty" taste, but to me it tastes like marijuana smells, only stronger. Not an enjoyable or pleasant taste at all. I purchased this to help with migraines, but haven't been able to stomach it. Fortunately, I found that magnesium is helping, and going gluten free has worked miracles overall, so I am not too disappointed. And the reason I gave this three stars? It works great to make a beeswax, coconut, hemp oil blend that I can use for a lip balm (just melt together in the microwave and wala!), I can't taste it when I use it this way either, as the coconut oil and especially the beeswax nicely overpower. And my lips are feeling great this winter! Manitoba Harvest Certified Organic Hemp Oil -- 16.9 fl oz - Magnesium - Hemp - Hemp Seed - Lip Balm'

Omron pocket Pedometer - walking, fitness
I actually purchased two of these, each at different times. The idea was that my wife would share one. I ASSUMED that you could do this since the software has options for tracking multiple users. Well, this wasn't the case. The pedometer will only track one given days worth of data. It will not segregate each user nor is there any option to do so. I start this review off this way because I think there a lot of people out there that partner up when trying diet or exercise program as was my case. But, I ended up purchasing an additional one to be able to measure the both of us separately. I couldn't find a PC ready model separate from the software so now I own to CD's of software.
Now for the good stuff. The pedometer is pretty great all in all. The two major reasons that I purchased this for two reasons. One, it has software that helps you track your walking history. Second, it can be placed almost anywhere and doesn't have to be placed on your hip area. You put it in your shirt pocket even! You can look at the specs to see all that it measures and all I can say is that it is all useful info. Whether its time blocks or distance to cal burned it's all good stuff. And, the neat software keeps track of everything and can present it to you in a number of different scales such as by day, week, month and year. You can also print out any of the before mentioned to give to whoever wants to read it like your doctor. And, if you track your blood pressure, you can purchase an Omron BP electronic cuff that you can hook up to your computer and download that info into the same interface that you use with the pedometer. Then you use a side by side comparison to see the effects etc.
All in all I am very happy with the purchase and plan on adding the blood pressure cuff to the mix. I will say this. Shop before you buy. When I purchased my second pedometer, I found that there were a few of the same pedometer with pretty wide price spreads so check that it is the right model number and what the actual shipping charge is. Omron HJ-720ITC Omron Pedometer With Software
love it, love it, love it! this is asesome and the price is great. i love that i can download to my pc. it is comfortable and easy to read and use. great quality and omron is rated best with consumer reports.
This is my third pedometer (actually the second one of this model). After reading this article:[....], I wanted to keep track of my steps, and lose a few pounds in the process. I gave my old pedometer away, and bought one I could use to upload and graph data. Since I already owned the Omron BP monitor that interfaces with the same product, I was thrilled that I could track my blood pressure alongside my steps. This pedometer is so incredibly accurate compared to the old one. It maps calories burned and aerobic steps as well. The software lets you set goals and graphs show you how well you did meeting your goals.
Unfortunately, like other reviewers have mentioned, it does fall off, and absolutely needs to be used with the safety clip. When I lost my first one, I couldn't find another that I would prefer after talking to fellow techie fitness geeks. Several of my friends also have one and we "compete." So now my daily step count continually rises in my competition. I find myself parking very far away from grocery stores so I can accumulate more steps.
The main reason I wanted to write this review was because I accidentally ran it through a "super wash" cycle in my washing machine yesterday. Although it didn't appear damaged, it stopped counting steps midway through the day today. I unscrewed the front, dried it with a Q-tip and it works perfectly again!! Amazing!
I've been using this pedometer for about a month now. It's OK, but a little big to carry around in your pocket all the time (I don't use the belt clip). The software that comes with it is intuitive and easy to use. I've noticed though that the pedometer itself is not all that accurate in counting steps. Over some short distances, I've manually counted my steps and then compared and have noticed differences in step count of up to 20%. So, if you are looking for complete accuracy, this probably is not the right device. Overall, it's a good buy and gives a decent idea of distance walked. Just don't rely on it too much.
I've had at least 4 pedometers & trashed them all. This one is by far the best. It was recommended to me by a colleague - not this specific one, they got the one without the data upload. But this one is more accurate, its sturdier & nicer to look at than the others. You can wear this one on your hip, on the front pocket of your pants, you can hook it on your bra strap, its just THE BEST pedometer I've ever had. I did manage to break the teather: the clip is plastic & somehow I managed to break it. But I just bought another one but with a metal clamp, like the kind we used to have on our suspenders. Anyways, this one costs a bit more, but like anything, you get what you pay for.
I purchsed two of the Omron pedometers for christmas gifts. One for myself and one for my wife. I have to say that they are easy to use and are very accurate. The fact that it is also a pc product makes the motivation factor increase as you can see your progress right on your computer. I would say it's a great product for any one you is trying to walk more and need help.
John F
I love how this pedometer doesn't accidently reset when you bump up against something. I also like being able to see aerobic and total steps. Software is also great. I like being able to see my progress over time.
I work in the operating room. It helps me keep track of my steps in a day when I am very busy and can't find the time to work out. It is very accurate, easy to read, and compactible. An employee introduced me to it and it is worth every dime I spent on it. I will recommend it to everyone. - Omron pocket Pedometer - Walking - Fitness - Omron'

32 Inch Lcd - 1080p, samsung lcd
Picture Quality Performance: With 480i images we noted some jerky motion artifacts in the background of some scenes. However, I did not see much offensive negatives in the foreground and was very pleased with the detail offered in 480i. The processors did a very nice job. Color rendition was not oversaturated, if not sometimes a little muted.
With our Blu Ray set to 720p resolution to match the TVs resolution we were very impressed at the bright sharp images and intense color offered. The TV really has a lot of pop with HD material. We also did not note the negative background judder with HD material and this proved out with our HD HQV processor testing as well. Black levels were deep and occasionally oversaturated but not often enough to really be a strike against. Dark shadow detail was totally acceptable for a TV of this size and price range.
Off center viewing was average on this LCD TV with the contrast and black levels fading at around 35 degrees off angle - again not bad for this price range.
Calibration: Calibration through the menu was easy and the C350 did a nice job calibrating to near D6500K. There are advanced white balance controls included on this TV which is unusual for this price point. There are also many more advanced settings than I would have thought such as Black Tone, Dynamic Contrast, a Gamma setting, and a nifty Flesh Tone setting that will take the onscreen flesh tones from a yellowish to a pinkish appearance at your whim without changing the overall color appearance of the picture much.
Picture settings as calibrated from the Custom Setting:
Backlight: 8
Contrast: 92
Brightness: 46
Sharpness: 10
Color: 53
Tint: Unchanged
Black Tone: Dark
Dynamic Contrast: Low
Gamma: +1
Color Space: Native
White Balance-
Rgain: 27
Roffset: 24
Flesh Tone: +1
Edge Enhancement: Off
As far as aesthetic considerations go, the LN32C350 has straightforward design and better than the other 32" models on the market except the LG's. You almost cant believe how light the TV is upon lifting it, a scant 15.7 pounds. The TV is 3.25" in depth and 8" with the stand. The included table stand is very light and inexpensive and the TV must be turned on its head and the table stand screwed on upside down to accomplish the assembly. It would be more convenient if Samsung would just include the stand already assembled on the TV, same as some other manufacturers. The table top stand does not swivel side to side. The 2" bezel framing of the TV is gloss black and non-spectacular but does contain a sloped design element at the bottom.
Audio Output: The two inbuilt 5 watt speakers barely get the job done. From 10 feet the user will need to keep the volume control at 75% of total capacity. The volume quality also is lacking with a tinny character and no base - but that's about all you can expect from 5 watt speakers.

It's rare that i'm so pleased with a purchase so I just had to write a review. After a very... very extensive search and looking at a lot of TV me and my GF just got this TV, it was our first big purchase together after moving in together. Simply put this tv has amazing picture quality for the price we paid. Also alot of people are complaining about the amount of inputs this TV has... but it's an HDTV, samsung isn't expecting you to connect your stuff to it with composite cables... what a waste! I bought an HDMI cable for our cable box and one for our xbox360 and now we can hook up both and enjoying amazing HD quality picture.
The one weakness of this TV is the sound is so weak! But all the TVs we looked at in this size/price range had weak sound so i guess that's just the way it is now as most manufactures expect it to be used with a home theater system. honestly tho, compared to the other TVs this sound quality sounds really good... it's not at all loud, but at least it sounds good.
I upgraded my bedroom tv to this Samsung HDTV. The picture and quality of a Samsung HDTV is outstanding. I had another brand of HDTV in there first, but with the new HD Receiver I purchased, I couldn't get a picture on it. I moved it to another room and with the Samsung I had no problem at all. I now have 3 Samsung LCD HDTV sets in my house, Living Room 52", bedroom 32" and 23" in dressing room. I couldn't be happier with my purchases of Samsung HDTV TV Sets.
I have had several people tell me that they have never seen a better picture on a HDTV than the ones I have.
This is my second 32inch Samsung purchase. My first was 6yrs ago and I paid $1450.00 for a 32" that has less features than this one at $329.00. So when the wife and I decided to get rid of the old CRT TV upstairs we jumped on this deal.
I was a little worried about the sound quality because of the reviews but the sound quality is excellent! It has 2 10watt speakers and a 5 band equalizer that comes with 5 presets and will allow you to set it up however you like. I honestly have no idea what people are talking about unless the volume coming out of their cable box is really low. I turn my volume output of the cable box all the way up, then turn on the TRU Surround sound and set the EQ to the movie preset. You wont need to turn the TV volume past 15.
The picture quality is fantastic and you have lots of adjustments you can make if needed. Mine was perfect right out of the box.
The USB port will allow you to view pictures & listen to mp3's and is controlled with the TV's remote.
It is super lightweight and takes only a few minutes to set up. I recommend you get an HDTV BOX with am HDMI output from your cable/satellite company. Comcast even included an HDMI cable at no charge.
Bottom Line: If your looking for a basic model HDTV that has a great picture & sound look no further. I know its only 720p but honestly the human eye cannot tell the difference between 1080p & 720p on sets that are less than 42inch's. My parents have a 32 inch 720p Samsung in their bedroom and a 52 inch 1080p Sony Bravia in the rec room and both of them agree that the Samsung has a better picture. In my opinion Samsung TV's have the best picture out there and amazon.com has worry free customer service. So what are you waiting for? - 1080p - Samsung Lcd - 32 Inch Lcd - 720p'

Electronic Lock - schlage, keyless lock
I recently bought one of these for our home after we moved in. Now I don't need to fumble with keys every time I need to ket in the house, and I don't have to worry about kids losing or forgetting keys.
Like other schlage locks I have owned, this unit seems to be very well made, sturdy, and easy to install. The programming of codes is simple, and codes can be added or deleted just by using the keypad. Keypad use as far as entering codes or even updating codes is straighforward. The fact that a simple button push "lights up" the buttons at night is also cool.
The buttons are also epoxy-coated, so the numbers won't "wear off" thus revealing the codes used. I have a separate code for each family member, and can easily add codes if I have a contractor stopping by.
A key can be used to open the lock if for some reason the electronic part stops functioning (too cold from sub-sero weather, perhaps?). Since this is a Schlage lock, it can even be re-keyed so that the key you have matches the other Schlage locks your house may have. The other reviews have covered the product very well, so I am just commenting on the battery life. My 9 volt battery that came with the lock lasted 1 month. I just assumed it had been sitting in the package and was near it's exp. date. The 2nd battery I installed was a fresh Everyready Alkaline 9 volt. It lasted a total of 4 months. There are only 3 family members in my house, so I don't think it is a matter of heavy use.
My point is that 4 months is a long way from the 3 years advertised so consider this when you are thinking of getting this lock.
4/5/09 Another update...3rd battery lasted less than 1 week and when it failed the door sat unlocked all day, not good. Will contact Schlage for replacement, but do not like to have to return things and pay shipping
I timed my installation of this at a surprizing 15 minutes, including removing the old doorknobs and reversing the handles on the keyless entry. Usually everything takes twice as long with me! The only hard part was deciding which door to put it on- the main house entry or an outbuilding I use a lot.
An earlier review stated that the lock shuts down for 5 minutes after four consecutive missed entries of combinations. I timed mine at 30 seconds shutdown, confirmed in the owner's manual.
The thing is made well, heavy duty even. Easy to program and delete combinations. I was hoping to gain entry a tad quicker by "swiping" a finger across four digits in a row, but this won't allow that; it wants a discret push of a number on the keypad with a very short time between entries. So it takes 3-4 seconds to open the door.
No complaints, but I await the day the 9V battery gives out and I have to remove the inside portion of this lock to replace it. Then I may have my first gripe!
P.S. - I paid $118 (on sale) for mine in bright brass at Lowe's, Jan.'09.
Having just purchased a new home and in need of replacing the locks, we did a great deal of research on the various companies before settling on Schlage. Of course, they are a decent mid-level quality lock and there are much more secure, and much less secure lock ratings than found within this line (i.e., commercial, etc). We selected this keyless lock to use on an outdoor utility/laundry shed with the intention of being able to access laundry the laundry room easily without the need for keys. It has been wonderful, and we enjoy the bronze colored finish a great deal. I have heard that it can peel and crack, so be sure to keep your receipts in a safe place, or your original packaging, should you need to send it back to Schlage for warranty work (there is a lifetime warranty, as far as I am aware).
The lock is easy to program and uses a 6 digit master code for this purpose. You can store 2 four digit entry codes in the lock at at time, and they can be changed using the 6 digit code. As others have mentioned, this is useful when contractors need access to the home. For example, we were able to have the sprinkler system repair guy do some work on the house because of this.
As for the battery life, I can't comment much on it, except to say that we are still on the battery that came with the unit and it has been about 2 months. I would note, however, that we do not use this system on an entry door to the main house. Rather, it is in a location where it is not used every day. Nevertheless, we live in a very hot climate, which usually kills batteries at a faster rate, and have not encountered a problem with the lock as of yet.
Thus far, we have been very pleased. If I encounter any problems, I will be sure to update the review, but at present, I am very satisfied. A note of caution - be sure to retain the instructions included with the lock, as they contain the 6 digit code necessary to change the entry codes. If you happen to misplace this, you will need to take the lock apart to get the code, as it is inside of the lock.
I had all the same positive reactions listed by others when I installed this. After I had been using it about six months, the 1-4 digits stopped working - when I pressed them nothing at all happened, though all the other buttons worked. This was intermittent for a while and then they quit altogether, taking me back to using a key. I called Schlage and was told that they recommend replacing the batteries every three months. Wonderful! Anyhow, I replaced the battery and guess what?! Now none of the buttons work at all! I have messed with the connections and all, but have been unable to revive it. So how do you send a lock in for repair? Just leave your door unprotected when you send it in? Anyhow, I misplaced my receipt, so I'm totally out of luck. I guess I'm just back to living with fishing out my key every time I need to get in. - Keyless Lock - Keyless Deadbolt - Keyless Entry - Schlage'
