Landscape Design - landscape design, construction

I bought this book for my son as a birthday gift. He is newly married and is starting projects around his home. It is a brilliant book - he loved it, it will give him advice on projects for years to come. There are good projects in the book that most people will want to do. It will be a book used time and time again. As you know if you get it wrong at the very start of a project no matter what you do it will still not turn out well. This book gives you the information to successfully complete projects. Would recommend the book to anyone tackling first time projects or can't seem to get their projects looking professional. Black & Decker The Complete Outdoor Builder: From Arbors to Walkways: 150 DIY Projects

I received this book promptly and was delighted to see the colorful pictures on each page with step-by-step instructions on how to complete the project. This book offered many more ideas on projects I didn't even know I was interested in doing. Great Book for the excellent price! - Construction - Landscape Design'

Namco Museum Ds Game - nintendo ds lite, nintendo ds games

I am a 50 something woman, not much of a gamer, but got a DS for Christmas, and have become addicted to these games, especially Pacman and Galaxian. Playing them was exactly like back in the good ole days...and even my 10 year old niece enjoyed them, but of course she didn't have to read the instructions like I did.the graphics are good, if you liked it back in the 80's, you'll enjoy this game. Namco Museum

Maybe it's a result of my getting older but I recently felt a wave of nostalgia for the 80's and one of my fondest memories was playing arcade games. The arcades from my youth have all long since closed but I still have feelings for games like Crystal Castles, Pengo, Marble Madness and so on. A little while back I bought the DS version of Bubble Bobble containing a spot on translation of the classic game. Despite being over 20 years old Bubble Bobble is still loads of fun. After searching for some more classic games on the DS I discovered that two I have particularly warm memories of were being released in the new Namco collection. These included Xevious and Mappy. I wasn't sure why Namco was releasing Galaxian since it's almost exactly the same as Galaga except not nearly as good. So is it worth the investment?

I must say that none of these games compare to Bubble Bobble but in their defense they were all released prior to Bobble. The first thing I noticed is how shallow these games are. The wonderful memories I held for Mappy were soon replaced by the boredom of the games repetitiveness. Xevious has more variety but I found the game bloody hard and difficult to see on the small screen. You can set up the game to play tilted at 90 degrees and it looks far better but then you're holding the DS at an extremely awkward angle. Most arcade games were built with a tall screen but the DS screens are built wide so either you play the games with black bars on either side or tilt the system. Neither is a great solution. Galaga is fun but it just doesn't feel the same without a big chunky joystick controlling your fighter. I only played Dig Dug II briefly because it's junk compared to the original Dig Dug.

I have to give Namco credit for trying its best to recreate the arcade experience on a handheld system. Games have simulated mother boards with dip switches that can be set as if the player were an arcade owner. Players can even play with known bugs on or off. The kicker for me was the inclusion of a faux screen burn on Xevious. Now THAT is the sign of a loving crafted game.

Some people have complained about the selection of games and although I would have swapped out Dig Dug II, Towers of Druaga and Galaxian others have complained about the inclusion of Mappy so for each his own. The main problem with the games is that the DS screen dimensions differ significantly from the original arcade games but there's not much Namco could do about that. Something that Namco COULD have done something about was the inclusion of continues. I mean if you're trying to recreate an arcade experience players should be able to simulate popping in another quarter. Unfortunately every game gives you a quarters worth of play and Xevious is damn hard. At 20 bucks it's a bargain game but I must confess that I lost interest faster than I expected. Still, it's fun to have many of these games available in portable form.

I picked this up on the strength of Pac-Man Vs. last week, and was more surprised by the additional content than anything else. It's a simple collection, Pacman, Mappy, Galaga, etc. but the options are nearly endless.

In all of the old 'coin op' games, you can change up many many options; continues, number of lives, speed, difficulty, etc. You can even play with the dip switches as you would to adjust settings on a real arcade cabinet. I was shocked by the sheer number of choices available to the gamer, within each individual title.

For $15, this game is worth it for Pac Man Vs. alone. For the uninitiated, its a multiplayer PacMan, where one player plays regular old PacMan, but all of your friends play the part of the ghosts. The ghosts are given a very limited view, and the game plays like normal, Power pellets will kill ghosts, but its the basis for an excellent game of cat-and-mouse.

I would recommend this title to children or adult fans of the original titles. Due to the wide variety of difficulty and gameplay options, the player can choose just how challenging they wish the game to be.

My only real knock is that the selection is a bit limited. I would have appreciated a few more titles, or a few less duplicates. But again, for the price, you can't go wrong.

This game has 7 classics, all from 1979 to 1985, Including Galaxian(4/5), Pac Man(5/5), Galaga(5/5), Xevious(4/5), Mappy(4/5), The Tower of Druaga(2/5), and Dig Dug II(5/5). I like it how if you press START, SELECT, START while holding R, you can have a 2 player game on a single DS. And then there's a wireless/download game: Pac Man Vs.

How to operate Pac Man Vs.: Select Pac Man Vs.; In the middle of the touch screen you'll se a circle that says Wireless Vs. Touch it or select it with the A button. Then you'll see Create Room, Find Room, etc. I got stuck on the circle part and thought it was searching for opponnets. And I thought it was lousy because it wasn't working. So make sure you select Wireless Vs.

Anyhow, Pac Man Vs. is fun, and for the first time ever, you can be a ghost trying to catch Pac Man!

I would recommend this game to anybody, especially old games fans.

I bought this game for my children because the games were favorites of mine in the 80's. They love playing them. Dad has a good time with them to, but wishes he had a joystick for more manueverablity. Good 80's fun.

As I love the old school games, I find them hard to play on the DS. My daughter who I actually purchased the game for, just refuses to play them. She is 10 and said it is just not that much fun and finds is hard to use the buttons for this particular game. Oh well, win some and lose some. I'm not sorry I bought it... just will play once and a while. - Nintendo Ds Games - Video Games - Classic Games - Nintendo Ds Lite'

Weight Training - ankle weights, walking

In the Spring of 2006, I purchased the 10 lb adjustable Ankle weight set, which is the same as the 5 lb set, save for additional weights. Two weeks ago, one of the acrylic cinchs that the velcro strap slides through broke. I called GOFit's customer service line, and explained what had occurred. The pleasant and helpful rep took all of my information, and said they would send me another set of ankle weights. I was stunned. I assured the rep that wasn't necessary, and all I desired was one replacement. No weights, etc. She said that was fine.

Today I received an entire replacement set for both ankle's, and additional weights! GoFit went far and above my expectations, and I am pleased to leave them this revue of their fine product! GoFit GF-5W Adjustable Ankle Weights (5 lb)

I've worn many an ankle weight in my time and I have to say this is a quality product. The construction is durable and well made. The weights weigh what they are supposed to. The zipper is easy to manuever and the weight sacks are easy to remove and put back in again. The best ankle weights are the kind with a hook and slide through velcro strap. The strap is long and the velcro stays put. They seem like they'll last a long time and won't easily fall apart on you. The price is low and is a great deal for what you get.

A couple of cons however include one mind-boggling conundrum. I am a woman. My ankles, with socks, measure 9 inches around. My lower calf is 11 inches. The go-fit weights, not including strap are 12 1/2 inches long. However the diameter, when closed, does not make it all the way around my ankle. There is a 2 inch gap between the ends of the weight that is nothing but strap. As such and unfortunately, the weight is left hanging by nothing but two inches of strap. You can pull it as tight as possible and still it won't make it all the way around. This causes the weight to eventually slip and is left hanging off one side of your foot. It can get quite uncomfortable. My ideal weight would be at least 14 inches long and have two long pull through straps, one near the top and one near the bottom.

Another con, is the weights are very noisy and can only be used when "working out". When you walk, all you hear is slosh, slosh, slosh. I prefer to be able to wear my weights any time under my pants when I'm running errands or doing alot of walking but these are too noisy to go unnoticed. My ideal weight would have thin, solid removable weights instead of the bean-bag type.

This product is four-star but I gave it only three because unless there is an upgrade in style design, I probably won't buy these weights again.

These weights work pretty well. I like the adjustability of the weights (1-5 lbs per leg). It works great for my physical therapy program. They aren't too hard to change in and out of the pockets either like some similar products. The only problem I have had with them is getting them tight enough to stay on my ankles and not slip down, but I do have pretty small ankles. I can put a washcloth under the weights to keep them in place, so I can work with it.

Overall, I am pleased with them and the price is reasonable for what you get.

There's not much to these ankle weights so not much to go wrong. They are just as described. Easy to put on and take off, and they don't just fall off. They seem to be the correct weight. What more could I ask?

I started using these weights as part of my physical therapy after I had surgery on both knees. The fit was good for me, though there was a gap of about 1 1/2" at the point of closure. The canvas casing has a zipper at the top and you can insert the appropriate weights to customize it to the weight needed. In my case, I started out with about a pound in each weight and I upped the overall weight in each as I gained strength in my knees/legs. The zipper manages to support the clever design (which has pockets for the individual weights) and the weights stay securely in place.

The construction seems fairly good. They are used daily and they still look new after 6 months of use. Given the price and flexibility, this was a good choice for me.

I bought these weights to help me with exercises to strengthen my knee after physical therapy. They work perfectly for me, but my husband found them to be way to light for him. They are 2.5 pounds each, so that's the max. I'm thinking now that maybe I should have gotten the weights that were 5 pounds each, since they are adjustable and I could have taken the extra weight out until I was ready for it. But the point is if this is the weight amount you're looking for and you don't want anything heavier, then these should work fine for you.

I bought these ankle weights to use in conjunction with my Powerblocks. The Powerblocks are adjustable dumbbells that go from 5 pound per dumbbell to 45 pounds per dumbbell in 5 lb. increments. I needed an in-between each increment and so these weights fill the gap. If I need an 18.5 pound weight, I just slip these on, set my weights to 15 and there I have it. The weights are very high quality. The velcro stays firmly in place. They're great. - Ankle Weights - Exercise - Adjustable - Walking'

Cyberpower - usb hub, powered usb hub

I must have bought one of just about every powered, USB 2.0 hub on the shelf at Fry's and returned them, one by one, because I wasn't happy with them for one reason or another. Besides those criteria, I was looking for a hub that has both the power jack and USB upstream jack on the same surface of the housing, because I hated the ones that are small, but take up a big footprint on your desk because they have plugs sticking out of them on 3 or 4 sides.

While the CP-H720P does not meet this criteria, it uses that fact as an advantage. First, the housing can be mounted vertically in a weighted stand (provided) to minimize footprint. Then, it has USB downstream ports on both a forward and rearward facing edges, so that plugs for long term connections can attach to the back of the hub and the cables route out of the way, and plugs for temporary connections face forward for easy access. Arranged this way, the power and upstream plugs don't get in the way. But the best feature is the seventh port, on the face of the housing, which is great for frequently accessed flash drives.

On the down side, not so much. The power light is an intense blue LED that lights up my workspace when the lights are off. There are additional less-spectacular green LEDs for each of the downstream ports, but to my dismay, they are not activity indicators but power overload indicators, so they don't normally light up at all.

On the whole, I am very satisfied with this unit. It's a "keeper". CyberPower High-Speed 7-Port USB Hub

[After over 2 and one-half years of service from this hub, I'm raising my rating to 5 stars. Below is my review from January 2008 followed by my revaluation from Sept. 2010.]

I realized I needed a 7-port hub and checked out the D-Link, Kensington, Belkin--the usual suspects. Then I chanced upon this unlikely contender, looking more like a jukebox in Amazon's picture than a hub. I was intrigued by the off-beat design and noticed that the price was competitive (though a couple of the others are presently offering rebates, a free flylight, and other sweeteners). Now that I'm looking at the CyberPower USB port "in person," I can provide a few initial impressions:

1. It's a lot smaller than the picture might imply. Compactness is nice, but you also want a hub that will stay put and that allows sufficient space between adjacent plugs.

2. Although the hub is designed for either vertical or horizontal use, the added and welcome weight of the detachable base makes vertical use the more sensible option. Otherwise, you've got a lightweight (and fairly generic) loaded-up plug which could easily move around, dislodging the USB mini-plug (a necessary evil except for small cameras) at one end of every USB 2.0 cable.

3. It seems to handle my equipment off of the USB power supplied by the computer, but I still breathe easier using the included AC power adapter. (To the manufacturer's credit, it's one of the slimmer, lighter wall-warts that I've seen.)

4. The flash drive mount is practical (but not unique). Now I can finally use that old Sandisk thumb drive that formerly was taking up the space of two USB ports.

5. The individual port lights are on all the time and, unlike most hubs, are not indicative of the presence or absence of a USB device.

In conclusion, it's a reliable performer and a convenient as well as eye-catching device--providing you go for the vertical look. If I were to suggest one design improvement, it would be to "fatten up" the tower so that it would be wide enough to permit horizontal insertion of USB devices with the hub in vertical position. Doing so would assure unforced accommodation of all your USB plugs, even the most space-devouring ones. Biggest "gripe": the vertical design is not real stable. The hub is easily dislodged from the base and bounces around quite a bit. If I had to do it over, I'd look at the heavy, dome-shaped Kensington.

[Revaluation after almost 3 years: I tried the Kensington. It was no more stable but less reliable. So I returned to the CyberPower, but without the base or vertical position. I velcroed its back side to the wooden surface behind my desktop machine, with printer and two 500GB storage drives inputted to the rear, one USB cable from the front side to the USB of my iMac, and a flash drive connected to the top side of the hub. Absolutely no problems. This item continues to rise in both popularity and price because it's so good. Should it ever fail, I doubt there's any other hub available that could surpass it. Forget the "cuteness" factor; this thing is all business.]

I was having issues with my (non-powered) USB hub sucking too much energy off my laptop. This puppy solved those problems, which has me VERY happy. It was easy to set up, the plugs are arranged nicely, and I like how it's set up for both vertical and horizontal usage. It does have some glow at night, but it's nothing that bothers me at all.

Highly recommended. - Powered Usb Hub - Usb Hub - 7 Port Usb Hub - Usb 2'

Casual Watch - casual watch, tommy

It looks stunning on the wrists. It is great too to have "3 watches in one". I personally love having it all red, but mixing red and blue looks great too!

And if you have thin wrists, dont be afraid: i have VERY VERY thin wrists, and i find it very difficult to buy watches because of that. But no problem with this one. It is lovely, now i will buy one for my sister too, i am sure she will like it!

Edit (oct 22nd 2010): After 10 or 11 months owning it, i have to warn you: it scratches quite easily! Be careful. Tommy Hilfiger Women's 1700161 Reversible Red and Navy Leather Strap Watch

I love this watch, usually I go for bracelet watches so when my sweetie bought this for me, I didn't think I would like it, but I love it, its not only beautiful but extremely comfortable. I love wearing the blue and red because of the contrast. I wholeheartedly recommend this watch.

I had ordered one as a gift to my best friend on her birthday and it sure was a very pleasant surprise. the fact that it is so easy to reverse the colors of the strap makes it all the more adorable.

I have now ordered one watch for myself and I absolutely love it!!!!

I've been searching for both navy and red-banded watches for some time - this one has both color bands in one - and the red is actually red, not an orange-red which I've found so many times. It's simple and perfect for wearing with almost anything. I love it!

No Sapphire Crystal glass and only 1,7x1,3cm display (not the case).

The strap has a plastic feeling, but reversing is easy and makes it a 3-in-1 (you have 3 watches instead of one): you can wear it either in blue or red, either in blue and read.

I'm not sure it would fit a person with a larger wrist, but would surely recommend it for a thinner wrist. - Casual Watch - Tommy - Stylish'

Travel - sling bag, purse

I bought this bag in tan as my back will hurt carrying a standard purse for too long. Good quality bag with fine, soft leather and sturdy stiching. I like it because it has a nice classic, stylish look without appearing like I'm going hiking. It's not very big, but large enough to hold my many keys, large wallet, small pouch, and sunglasses. It has just one sturdy zippered opening down the side vertically. There is a kangaroo-style deep pocket on the front where I keep my keys and phone, and it snaps shut so they don't fall out. The straps are long, but I was able to shorten them a couple of inches like you would a pair of shoes with a buckle. I gave it four stars instead of five as the inside does not have any zippered pocket to hold small items separately (like a lipgloss or key). It is just a loose open area that you throw your stuff in.

Update: 3/30/10

I have used this purse continuously for the past 6 months and love it. I thought I would have a problem finding things inside the purse, but due to the tapered shape, it's been fine. The straps could be a little wider as they tend to cut into your shoulder like a bra strap if your clothing is too thin. Aside from a little dirt(it is tan), it still looks great! 29 Inch Inseam - levis, mens jeans

I discovered Carhartt jeans about 5 years ago. Best jeans I ever wore. I prefer a tapered leg fit and nobody but Carhartt makes them this way anymore.

I've always worn B18 34x30's but lately the last several pairs I've purchased the fit is inconsistent. Either the leg is too short or too long. The waist is too tight or too loose (and no, I haven't gained or lost weight, grew or shrunk either).

After having washed and washed the last few pairs I've bought hoping they'd fit better and rendering them nonreturnable, I have given them to Goodwill.

Not sure if the problem is with Carhartt or their manufacturer in Guatemala. I'll have find a local retailer where I can actually try them on before purchase. Carhartt Men's Traditional Fit Jean,Stonewash,35W x 30L

Bought 2 pair at Sears (Relaxed fit). Wanted to try a traditional fit pair so I ordered a pair from here. Size and quality were perfect, so I ordered two more pair. I've been a diehard Levi's fan for years, but like I have heard, the quality has gone down with Levi's (apparently they buy cheap quality Chinese denim). I will never buy Levi's again based on principle alone...they are arrogant because of their name and they know it. Besides why would I buy them when these WITH SHIPPING are cheaper than Levi's? I know for a fact these are built with thicker denim as I work in a diary cooler and my legs are MUCH warmer when I work all day in 38 degrees with these jeans on. In short...CARHARTTS ROCK.....

Jeans excellent! A material and having sewed at the highest level! The size as if are sewed on you! I recommend to all!

Has ordered one more of other color! Thanks the manufacturer and firm Essential Apparel!!!

My husband is slim and a carpenter. So many producers of jeans have taken off some of the belt loops. He needs the extra belt loops, esp. when he has his carpenter belt on. The extra loops help him not to get a back ache by giving more support with his belt on. We have looked and looked and have not found any others. His waist is a 32-33. The jeans are also very good quality and wash up nicely. They have a nice slim fit to them which he also likes and that is hard to find now days too. We hope they do not stop making them and that maybe other companies will return to the original loops. The only thing we could think of is that they are trying to save expense by cutting back on the loops.

Mike and Sharen in Michigan

I ordered this item because I wanted a pair of jeans, and low and behold - what arrived, on time, was a pair of jeans. They were blue as ordered and exactly the same size as I ordered so on first inspection I was happy.

Then I tried them on, and they fit so the secondary inspection was also satisfactory - life is good when things work out the way you expect.

What else can I say, I ordered jeans, jeans arrived. They fit. I have a new pair of jeans.....I'm a happy man. It doesn't take that much to make me happy. - Fit - 501 - Levis - Mens Jeans'

Laptop Or Pc To Tv - pc vga to tv converter, laptop or pc to tv

August 24, 2007

I was looking to play some video games from my laptop to my TV. I'm pretty computer and electronic savvy with things like this.... However, right when I got it, I set it up, turned it on and..... Nothing but the color lines of the converter... and flickering of my laptop screen (which was extremely hard to make out), The display is not good for the weak of stomach... I tried to adjust the screen on the converter to clear it up but that didn't make any difference... There was no software that came with this, suppose to be plug and play.... Well for me its plug and flicker... I can't believe I wasted my money on this thing. Maybe it's because it's a laptop. I'll try with my main PC and some other systems I have to see if it works there and do a 2nd review. So far for the LAPTOP, (which is what I wanted it to work on), this product and a complete waste of money, and may just sit in the closet as a dust collector.

UPDATE: September 05, 2007

****New rating 4 of 5****

I had an ealier low rating for this product, well I did finally get the product to work and it looks good on the television screen. Here's what you'll need to do. Set your laptop or PC to the 800X600 resolution next plug in the converter, make sure all other cables are pluged in as well (and definately remember to plug in the USB cable into the laptop or PC that you are using, otherwise it WON'T work), then reboot your laptop/PC. After your PC reboots the screen should display on your Television. Hope that helps all those that had tons of trouble with this. But that is what I did and it's working as designed. No software needed just do the things above and you will be set. Other wise goole "TV OUT" and your PC/laptop brand and it should give you some links on how to setup your PC to display out to a TV using a converter box. ITV-900 PC to TV Converter

I bought this device so I could use my 42" Plasma as a monitor in my front room. I hooked the unit up exactly as the easy to read instructions outlined using the provided S-Video cable and it worked the first time. I did have to make some adjustments to the screen setting for size and sharpness but that was to be expected. The only complaint I have is that when I change inputs on the TV and then come back to the input that the converter is attached to I have to adjust the screen size one tick on the converter so that the PC tool bar shows up at the bottom. The picture is good though. I did watched a movie from Netflix Watch it Now and it looked pretty good. It was not HD quality of course but it was clear and crisp with no wierd anomallies, or grainyness. I was looking at the more expensive converters, but thought I would give this one a chance first. So far it was a good choice.

It works. Iamge quality is acceptable. However, it took me a little bit time to figure out. The product design is not very ergonomic. VGA INPUT and VGA OUTPUT port look exactly the same. Be aware that the color of the VGA cord, which is inclued in the package, doesn't match. SUPPOSED TO BE BLUE (CORD) TO BLUE (VGA PORT). IN FACT, IT IS BLUE TO BLACK. Plus, for who wants to watch video on TV, your video card setting is crucial, especially the ATI users. This converter shoud work for any kind of video card if you get the right setting. Enjoy your big screen.

I was able to get the converter to work right out of the box ( I just had to restart my computer with the converter plugged in so my laptop computer would recognize that a VGA cable was plugged in to the back). The device works fine, I watch movies from netflix without a problem at at all. This product works as intended, it deserves 5 stars, but here's why people give it a low rating: This product converst your VGA image to TV standard (which can have 1/4 of the pixels of your monitor!!) So everything WILL LOOK LESS SHARP THAN YOUR MONITOR, INCLUDING WRITTING. I've played QUAKE, watched movies and looked at my wedding pictures on my TV. Letters on the screen are a problem though, on my internet explorer zoom (lower right corner of your window), I had to set it to 150% to be able to read the writing on the netflix website, this is expected though, based on the TV's image resolution, and not a defect of the product. If you expect better results, buy an HD tv, then your fonts will be legible at the normal size. Also, setting your resolution to 800x600 makes your screen the same aspect ration of your TV screen (4/3) and makes your images not distort distorted.

I bought this PC to TV convertor to watch DVD movies from my laptop and use my TV for occasional browsing. You would probably need an audio cable with this product to connect to your TV, otherwise use good Laptop speakers. This product delivers what it says. I bought a wireless keyboard immediately after this product. Will recommend this product to my friends

It is cheap and it works very well! Man if your computer does not have s-video output and you wanna use it with a tv this is a very good choice. Of course you need a tv with s-video input or other input jack that the coverter supports.

It does show the pc image on the tv, I mean to a composite or s-video connection.

But it could be a better image and it could give you more options, although one should not expect more from the cheapest item in its class.

The icons and text appear too small in the tv screen but I havent seen any other converter work, so I cant compare.

I got this to be able to play computer games on tv, and it does work for that.

it is not the best out there, but it gets the job done.

Ok im going to start with the pro's then go to the con's I bought this item to play [...] on my 40 inch TV since we cant afford cable any more and I don't wanna sign a 2 year contract with a dish service and after 7 months of no scifi channel or mtv was driving me insane this item works perfect as advertised I just got it today and it only took me 3 min to hook up if you have taken down a computer and put it back up you can set this thing up no problem and if not it includes directions that are very straight forward just so you know

NTSC is united states standard for video for those who don't know you may need to know that before setting this up

any way the worst part was moving my desk top closer to the tv had to rearrange my whole living room but thats my problem not yours if you have a lap top this will be much easier for you it converts the video from VGA to Svideo or composite no problem at all, I had no issues with a grainy or static picture at all and adjusting the video to fit the tv was very very simple a press of a couple arrows

The Bad: your monitor screen was never meant to be displayed so large so watching a video or [...] was no problem because the Hulu website software automatically adjusts to the screen size but the standard windows screen will not so the Icons or the Lettering is very very hard to read and unless you want to always be pressing the zoom feature on the VGA converter which for me was inconvenient because I had to walk all the way across the room this will not be sufficient in replacing your computer Monitor

On the plus side because I moved the my desktop closer to the tv there is also a VGA out which splits the VGA signal two ways so i was able to have the tv connected the same time as the computer and just run both off the same signal so it wasn't a complete loss it did what I needed it to do and at a great price so no complaints from me

so far it works nice ive tested it for a few hours I cant say how well it holds up yet with continuous use but I can definitely say it does what I need it to do they were quick with shipping and it arrived nice well packaged and never been opened in original packaging even and it seems sturdy as long as it isn't placed in a spot were it will get banged around a lot I see no reason why it wouldn't last for years - Pc Vga To Tv Converter - Converter - Pc To Tv Converter - Laptop Or Pc To Tv'

Tv Wall Mount - wall mount, plasma wall mount

Two very good mounts. I needed two mounts and I saw two Cheetah Mounts, the APTMMB and APTMM2B. I was not sure which to buy and so I bought one of each. Both of them did a good job - very sturdy and easy to install. I already left a good review for the APTMM2B. The APTMMB also worked. The biggest difference between the two is the part which hangs on the wall. The part which attaches to the back of the TV is literally the same for both. Regarding the wall part, the APTMM2B has 4 pieces which connect together to form a rectangle. Putting these together takes about 2 minutes. The APTMMB instead comes in a larger box and the wall plate is a single piece. My only reason for giving a lower score for the APTMMB is that I did not feel they explained this difference between the two mounts in the item descriptions and I did not think it was right to charge $3 extra for the APTMMB for something that only took 2 minutes to put together. But I guess the fact that the APTMMB wall plate is a single piece and not "assembled" probably does make it a little more secure and easier for a lot of people. So I guess you can decide if the $3 is worth it for you. I hope this does make the difference between the two mounts clearer for future buyers.

On the good side, both mounts shipped quickly, included two levels to help with installation, decent manuals written in English! I could read, and lots of screws options for mounting. By the way, my TVs were both Sharps and they actually already had screws for the wall mount, so I only really used the screws to put the wall pieces into the wall. There were literally like 20 or 30 screws in both mounts plus spacers and washers in case your TV doesn't already have screws like my Sharps, but I did not need them. The boxes were good quality and the mounts shipped double boxed! - something which Amazon always seems to do, but not always their partner sellers. My mounts Did Not ship together which I kind of expected, but the two mount boxes are different sizes and so that may not have been possible.

All in all, I was very happy with the Cheetah mounts. If you are not that handy and like the convenience, I guess you can pay the extra $3 for the APTMMB. For me, if I ever need any more mounts, I will save the $3 and get the APTMM2B model. Either way, they do the job at a crazy low price. Not really sure how these guys make any money. Cheetah Mounts APTMMB 32-55" LCD Flat Screen TV Wall Mount Bracket with Universal Tilt Flush Mount Mounting Brackets for Flat Panel Plasma, LED, & LCD Displays

Great mount. You could hang a volkwagon on the wall. Every kind of screw and bolt you can imagine included. If you don't know the difference between a lag bolt and a molley bolt, get help. If you buy a wagon, barbecue grill, or bicycle, and can't put it together, you probably shouldn't hang anybody's bracket and put your tv on it. This bracket is 30" wide. You shouldn't have trouble with 24" center studs, even if you have to drill a hole. No drill? This is not for you. Use the lag bolts on studs. You could do chin ups on this. I know they include two molleys. Two molley's are not enough on sheetrock. I know they include concrete plugs, I wouldn't use them, could be too short if you are hanging on fireplace. Use longer concrete anchors, and know what you are doing. This bracket might be too big for a 32" tv, not that you couldn't hang it, but you might be able to see the bracket from the sides. I hung a 50" Pani, and yeah they included the screws that fit the back of the tv, in two lengths too. The pocket depth on the Pani screw holes must be 1 1/2". I used the long screws. Oh yeah, there are locking screws on the bottom after you hang your tv. A tornado could take the house, but your TV will still be attached to the wall in Kansas. If none of this has scared you. Buy this bracket. It's a steal. Avoid the yo yo that is selling it for $150.

If you buy a flat-panel TV at one of the big-box stores, they're going to try to sell you a wall-mount costing $200 or more. Don't do it. This mount is affordable, made of high-quality materials, and has a pretty good range of adjustment when it comes to tilting the screen to the right angle for your room. I hung my 46-inch Samsung LCD, and I don't worry about it a bit -- it's very secure, and was simple to install.

After buying my new Sony Bravia 46z4100 I was in the mood to get the perfect mount no matter how much it cost. When I saw the 30 dollar price tag on the Cheetah I almost clicked past it but decided to read some of the positive reviews about the mount. I'm glad I did because I just finished setting it up and couldn't be happier.

The mount was extremely easy to setup. I am severely "mechanically declined" and was a little nervous when unpackaging this mount. The 1 page instruction sheet was simple (as long as you ignore the steps involving connecting the mount to a cement wall). There are at least 4 different screw sizes to use so I didn't have to buy additional hardware to connect it to the mount. I have 24" spacing between studs and because of the elongated holes in the mount there was no trouble getting the bolt into the center of the stud. The really neat thing about the mount is it clips on to the wall bracket so you can slide it to the left and right to reposition it on your wall if you want or easily unmount it. With it on the wall there is still plenty of room to get behind the tv and connect/disconnect cables and adjust the screw that moves the tilt.

Overall I'm extremely pleased with the mount and would strongly recommend this product to people mounting their new flatscreen tv's. - Tv Mount - Wall Mount - Plasma Wall Mount - Cheetah'
