staple removers - staple removers
Staplers used to come with a thingy at the back of them to remove staples but they never worked well so someone came up with these! They work excellent and are so cheap that I buy a dozen of them and keep them all around the house so I'm never without one when I need it. It actually takes a little skill to remove a staple without tearing. It's not just 1 great big snap, sometimes you have to work it a little bit back and forth, but in the end, nothing beats removing staples than 1 of these! Universal Jaw Style Staple Remover, Brown
Here's one of those cheap little office equipment thingies that you just don't think about much until you misplace it or someone borrows it and doesn't return it. I just recently had to purchase a new one. It's a Sparco with handsome brown-maroon plastic handles holding a steel set of jaws. It's made in China, of course.
It's very effective at removing staples and usually I can do it with one quick snap. This one seems to be much sturdier and better than the one I lost and I'll have to remember the brand for when I lose this one. In any case, it's nice looking and sturdy and I've been very satisfied so far. Plus, the price was right. What more could you ask?

Remote Control - shelf stereo systems, panasonic
I purchased this sleek Panasonic Stereo System primarily to use with my IPOD and the IPhone that I have pre-ordered. I am using it in the kitchen and it takes up very little space on the counter since it is only 3-4 inches deep. For it's size, it produces a rich sound and the clarity of the speakers is superb. It has a full-function remote with buttons for many features that I'm sure I'll never use that others might appreciate. In addition to the remote, there are buttons for the main functions on top of the system that can be easily memorized (by placement) and accessed.
After attaching the AM and FM antennas, the various stations were easy to preset and sounded good. I have yet to play the CD player, however with the IPOD, I don't really plan on using it much. The system can be mounted to the wall if you want to put holes in your walls and have the power chord hanging down from it, however it takes up so little space, I didn't really feel the need.
The system looks high-tech and it sounds great. The bass sounds much better than you would expect given the slimness of the speakers. It has an AUX-In port on the back of it if you have an MP3 player as well. The only minor negative is accessing the IPOD dock. The first thing you need to do is hit the IPOD button which slides the front panel to the right exposing the IPOD dock. Once open, it has a lever that needs to be pushed and then it tilts out toward you for easy removal. While not difficult, it all takes time which I'm a little concerned about when I get my IPhone and I hear it ring. If you leave the IPOD dock open the silver CD portion of the front panel covers more than half of the right speaker and there is a noticable difference in sound.
All in all, I'm very happy with it and when not in use, it just sits there and looks cool! If you are only concerned about the quality of sound, I'd suggest a boom box with larger speakers such as the Sony MHC-EC69i Mini Hi-Fi Shelf System which is much cheaper, has an additional 60 watts and has a deeper bass sound that fills up a room (I have one of these as well).
7/19/10 UPDATE: Received my pre-ordered IPhone 4 and it is not compatible with the dock in the Panasonic. It displays "NODEVICE" despite being snuggly fit into place. Plan B: Buy an IPOD dock and an audio cable and plug it into the AUX port on the back of the unit. Still sounds great! Panasonic SC-HC30 Compact Stereo System
It is a beautiful design, great sound for a little unit, convenient that it plays radio, CD, ipod, etc. and love that it can be wall hung - pretty and discreet for a bedroom.
BUT! I purchased this to replace a CD/clock radio alarm unit, and would have liked to have known that this unit DOES NOT display the time! You can use the remote to display the time, and it will momentarily display the time when you turn it on, but once you've stopped listening, i.e. turned the unit off, there is no time display, which means that you can't use it to see the time in the middle of the night/early morning. This seems like a huge design oversight on the part of Panasonic - most portable models even 20-30 years old routinely display the time.
Also, Panasonics customer service cannot tell me how to turn the alarm OFF if I want to sleep in! This seems like it should be very basic to figure out from the manual, or an easy question to answer for a tech rep, but no....30 minutes on the phone, and then disconnected with no answer. I am a university professor and am fairly adept at reading the english language, and the manual does not contain this basic information. Still deciding whether to return it or not (I purchased it elsewhere). Maybe someone out there has figured it out?
I bought this to replace a JBL OnStage iPod dock speaker that was malfunctioning. Today's bookshelf stereos like this one, that include iPod docks, make it totally unnecessary to buy a unit that can *only* function as a speaker for your iPod. This unit is quite thin--thin enough that it can be mounted on a wall and not look weird. It does include wall mounting hardware. In spite of this, it produces satisfactory sound; output is around 30w per channel. The sleek design is nice, and I especially like the motorized sliding front panel. It slides one way to allow you to insert a cd, and the other way to allow you to plug in your iPod. iPod controls from the remote are intuitive and straightforward. Minus one star for the quirks with the clock and alarm as another reviewer had mentioned. Don't buy this unit to replace your alarm clock.
We were looking for a compact CD/Radio player for our bedroom that also had and Aux. channel for our XM radio unit. After looking all around our small town we came to the conclusion that what we wanted was either priced too high or was not in stock (which happens a lot here) we found this system on Amazon. The company offered a fair price and great shipping. The stereo was shipped right away and when it arrived, we found that the sound quality was excellent. It also comes with a remote and a "sleep" option of 30 minutes or 60 minutes or longer, which is great for the bedroom. It also comes with a wall mount if you want to use it, although it doesn't take up much room on top of a dresser. One other great feature is that the display lights can be dimmed down so if you are bothered by lights in the bedroom, you can turn them way down. (We have an alarm clock that has display lights so bright, even on the "low" setting, that I swear you can see them from outer space.) - Panasonic - Shelf Stereo Systems - Mini-stereo - Ipod Dock System'

Macbook Pro - external dvd burner, netbook
This is a great high quality drive that is Windows 7 compliant.(although the instructions don't say so) It is a compact external so it is not super fast, but it is fast enough for all my needs. Watching dvds, burning cds/dvds etc. Now onto why this Drive has gotten bad reviews.
Complaint- This drive does not come with a program to watch dvds, I had to pay extra just to do so.
Answer- This just an external drive. It will work with your current media software. The DVD industry licenses the coding to read DVDs and so it is generally not given away free with products. It does come with Nero which is a great DVD/CD Burning program. The program has a trial for DVD watching with the option to buy. There are free codecs that you can download also to accomplish this. Head on over to [...]
Complaint- The drive only opens a 1/2 inch, there is something wrong with it.
Answer- Actually this is a power saving feature and keeps it slim line. This Drive is powered completely by your computer, and is designed for netbook use. It slides open easily with your finger. When the drive is not being used, it shuts down and does not draw power.
Complaint- The drive does not open when the power is off like the description says
Answer- Actually it does. There is a small hole on the front of the drive where a paper clip can be inserted. This will pop the drive open and allow you to access your disc.
I hope this helps clear the water a bit. All in all I am much happier with the product that I thought I would be. In fact since getting it for my net book, the DVD drive on my home computer died and I have just been using this one instead. Samsung USB 2.0 8x DVD Writer External Optical Drive for Mac and PC SE-S084C/RSBN (Gloss Black)
I needed an external DVD reader/writer mainly to load software onto my Acer 1410 which does not have a drive, and this Samsung drive works perfectly for me. The drive comes with Nero 8 "Essentials", which is a basic OEM suite of utilities for use with the drive. I find it neither great nor bad. If you need any of the utilities, it does the job. The drive itself does not use external power. It uses 2 USB ports. Some people claim it also works with only 1 USB port, but I have not tried it. Installing the drive couldn't be easier. I took it out of the box, plugged it into my system, and was up and running in probably a minute. The Nero software installed without issue. I loaded several programs from DVD onto my system without problems. I tried burning a couple of DVD's, and they all completed successfully and faster than expected. Although I have no intention to watch movies on my my netbook, I did pop a movie into the DVD drive, and it played without issue using Windows Media Player. I'm happy with the drive and does exactly what I bought it for.
MAC users ! Don't ever hesitate to buy this wonderful inexpensive little creature ! The CD involved is only for PC users, but you don't have to worry if you already have a software program to burn CDs/DVDs like Toast Titanium etc..
Installation wasn't an issue at all, why??? Because it is a MAC !!! ;) I've just plugged the USB cables (2 of them give a better performance, not a big deal for me to use 2 USB ports on my MacbookPro) and it started working in seconds !
I can read and write CDs and DVDs perfectly. (or copy stuff from internal drive to this external drive or vice-versa at the same time.) It automatically chooses to read DVDs by using DVD player software already installed in all MACs. Briefly you do not need any single thing to achieve what you want from an external CD/DVD drive. I didn't even have to show my Toast Titanium burner software that there's is a new external drive connected. It recognized it immediately !
My intention was to be able to use both Region 1 DVDs (for US) and Region 2 DVDs (for Europe) without worrying to change the region of my actual MAC's drive. Because it was only going to allow me 2 more times (out of 5) to change the drive's region. I'm a grad student in US, but my home country is in Europe, so this solution definitely worked for me perfect. The coolest thing is of course its price ! It is really an affordable piece of creature if we think about its abilities..
One more thing, it is really so small that you can put it in your laptop bag and enjoy it everywhere you go..
Thanks to Samsung & Amazon !
I bought this drive to use with my new Acer 13" 3810T which doesn't have an optical drive. I rarely use one, but I needed to have one....just in case.
The drive itself is VERY small, and I don't see how they could make one any smaller. Aesthetically it looks great. It came with one cable, with an interesting design. It has two regular USB plugs, which BOTH connect to a single mini-usb plug. You plug in both USB plugs to your laptop, and plug the other end into your laptop, and you're good to go.
Obviously this would pose a problem if you only have 1 usb port on a side, because the cord is not long enough to reach around. In the manual they show a picture of using an extension usb cord to reach the other side. I haven't tried this using only one plug, because I knew ahead of time I had two side-by-side usb ports I could use. The cord itself is quite short also, so expect to have the dvd drive less than a foot away.
I used it to burn recovery disks for my Acer, but haven't done any "speed" tests, but I didn't buy it for that purpose.
It's small, light, looks nice, and doesn't need a separate power cord!
I received my Samsung Super WriterMaster SE-S084C as scheduled but found it unable to install programs from DVD's I proceeded to have Amazon replace the defective unit, which only took a few days, and was happy to find the new unit worked perfectly. I understand that some problems will occur with any model, but based on what I have seen in these reviews this model has more problems that good QC should allow. Never the less, I have been please with the unit for its' small size and easy to use functionality. The same cannot be said for the included Nero 8 software. I got the unit to make installation of software easy and that is fine. When I installed the Nero* software to try to play back a DVD i got video but no sound. In researching the problem on the Nero site I found that the Nero 8 Essential OEM bundle will not play DVD sound, you only see the silent video. You need to buy their upgrade to the Nero 9 suite to get basic functionality. That is a crock. An "essential" software bundle implies basic functionality not this bait and switch "crud". The Amazon page states "Simply plug it into your USB port and you are ready to watch movies, install software, copy photos, play music, etc." That simply is not true. I decided the unit was worth keeping even without the software, so I avoided a second return to Amazon. I uninstalled the Nero 8 Suite and installed VLC open source free media player. It works just fine. The hard ware is fine and does a great job, however, I cannot recommend getting this product because of the deceptive software claims. - Netbook - External Dvd Burner - Dvd Burner - Slim External Dvd Rw'

Party Favors - glow bracelets, bracelets
These glow sticks are very cool looking and glow very brightly and for a long time... BUT they break very easily. The photo shows them being bent and twisted all together and i would say this isn't really what they can do. They are fine to be bent into a bracelet but once you start trying to make cool things out of them the glowsticks leak all over you. And then you glow and look cool for 3 minutes after which you smell like glow stick. If you've never smelled like glow stick, I can assure you, you are not missing anything. 8" TWISTER Lumistick Glow Light Stick Bracelets (40 bracelets)
We purchased a bunch for our 4 sons. Have to say when they work, they are fun. But, waaaayy too many of them developed leaks in them after bending them to initiate the glow. When the work as intended, they are very fun...but 1 too many leaky ones for me!
A few points to note. These glow sticks are similar to the 8" glowsticks you normally would use for bracelets, except they are fused together in pairs of twos. There is also no way to attach multiple glowsticks together like you can with the typical bracelet type. I briefly tested their malleability after cracking one pair. The glowstick leaked easily... They seemed to glow alright, until I came back a half hour later and noticed the glow had faded considerably (nearly 75% of the original glow was gone after a half hour).
These are all around cheap and useless. Don't waste your money.
These are awesome...no duds in the pack so far. Just make sure you don't bend too much or create a crease because they will shatter. For this reason I wouldn't recommend them for small children. I had 2 that broke...one was already turned on and bent into the bracelet shape inside a bag and the other happened when I was trying to put it on in a crowd of people. Still a great product and would definitely purchase again.
If you like to party at night, and who does not, and you like to meet everyone, then this is for you. I took a box of these to a music festival and it was a big hit. Everyone, young to old, male to female, and everything in between loved these things. I could not believe the fun that was had by all. I will take two boxes next time.
8" TWISTER Lumistick Glow Light Stick Bracelets (40 bracelets)
This little bundle brightened up the kids nights all summer long. Great value and always makes the little ones happy when mom or dad brings them out. No fighting over colors since the pack has so many to pick from. We will be buying another pack for next summer... - Glow Bracelets - Party Favors - Bracelets - Glowsticks'

Dockers Metro Denim Trouser Jean - casual, cargo
The cargo pants fit a little tighter than the other multipocket version, and I have a harder time not feeling like my side pocets are gapping, which is not a problem with the other dickies I bought. Next time I would be buy the next size up. I think these pants would be wonderful for a younger, slightly thinner person. They look great, have great pockets and wash up wonderfully though and I'm sure I will love them when I lose a few more pounds and they are not quite so tight. Dickies Women's Women'S Wrinkle And Stain Resistant Cargo Multi Pocket Pant,Black,12 Regular
i have been wearing these work pants for the past 4 years. they are very comfortable (soften with more washings). color fades (navy blue) but i work in a shop and as long as my pants are navy blue they aren't real particular. i love the pockets. very functional. cargo & cell phone pocket are perfect. durability is great. seams don't split and pants take a lot of abuse. if you are looking for a pair of pants that stay crisp & new looking these aren't them. if you are looking for a pair of durable, functional and comfortable pants (the color does fade) then you might be happy with these pants. i own 7 pairs and have been real happy with them. like i said i work in a shop these pants hold up for me. i gave them 4 stars because of the color fading. i continue to purchase them.
I reviewed these pants about 3yrs ago. I wore that pair to death. I have a small dog and these pants are great. I let him jump in my lap, I carry his odds and ends in the zipper pocket and my phone in the phone pocket. The pants leave my hands free to hold his leash and give him a good walk. Bruiser weighs about ten pounds, but still is a hand full.
I also like these pants when I vacation. You can put your passport and money in the zipper pocket and have your hands free to take pictures, hold your SOs hand or whatever. The sizing is hard because I am a size eight, but eight regular are too short and eight long are too long. I buy the long and alter the pants. I have to do this with some other brands too. All in all I love these pants and will keep buying them as long as they make them!
I bought the "Dickies Women's Wrinkle and Stain Resistant Cargo Multi Pocket Pant" for my wife. She is 5 feet so the petite size was the perfect length for her. She works at a high pace restaurant that require the waitress to wear either Dickies or Dockers. After doing intensive research on Dickies and Dockers I found these; They come in petite and have the multi pocket with the stain resistant material that are perfect for my wife. In addition, no fear to you curvy ladies out there! My wife has a woman's curves and they are still comfortable and fit her great!
These pants were purchased with comfort and style in mind. They are both. The cloth which is very durable and thick, moves with me as I move. They did not shrink when I washed them, and also held their shape. So far, so good.
I was looking for a pair of tall cargo pants that were comfortable, durable and didn't have pockets that stuck out awkwardly. I took a chance and ordered these from the website, in the khaki color, 10 tall. I am 5'8", weigh 155, and these pants fit me perfectly. The material seemed a bit stiff when I first received them, so I washed them on cold, with fabric softener, and they came out much softer. I wore them to work on casual day, and throughout the day I kept thinking how much I liked these pants. They didn't cut or rub, did not develop wrinkles anywhere, and were so comfortable! I also have what I call "flat butt syndrome", and often pants will bag on my rear end after a few hours of wear....that did not happen with these, they kept their fit and shape. I didn't have any issue with them fitting small in the waist....they do fit a tiny bit above the belly button so if you like lower rise pants they are not for you. My cell phone fit well in the left pocket, but if you have a bigger phone like a Droid it probably won't fit. The right cargo pocket has a zipper, which I love. I was able to fit my keys, a chapstick and some money in that pocket, with room to spare. I loved them so much that I went back to the website and bought them in a different color (black). I do want to mention, however, that I found these on clearance for much less on the Dickies website.
I bought these pants for work and they are exactly what I was hoping for. They are a little looser than I hoped but that's an easy fix by getting a lower size. They are great for my figure which is very hour-glass like with larger hips and a smaller waist. however, if your waist is the same size or larger than your hips then you may have a hard time with these. The pockets are not obvious which allows for a more perfessional look. The larger cargo pocket has a zipper which is great too! I do wish the smaller cargo pocket was a little longer so I could fit my pens in it a little more securly but they still go in ok. Over all, I say these are great pants! Definately worth it! - Cargo - Dockers - Dockers Metro Denim Trouser Jean - Casual'

Notebook Power Adapters - dell inspiron adapter, laptop power adapters
I would recommend using this seller again. I have 2 boys that have a Dell laptop and after 6 months of purchase the chargers went out. When pricing the chargers in some of the stores I could not afford to buy 2 @ $100.
The 2 chargers I purchased from this seller works perfectly and was delivered promptly.. NEW Laptop AC Adapter/Power Supply/Charger+US Power Cord for Dell Inspiron 1318 14 1420 1425 1427 1501 1505 1520 1521 1525 1526 300m 500m 505M 510m 6000 6000D 600m 610M 630m 640m 700m 710m 8600 8600c E1405 PP23LA m600 pp22l pp25l pp29l
I ordered this for my Dell Laptop when the original one started going bad. The Dell website wanted too much for a new one and most reviews for the Dell brand cords were poor. So, I searched on Amazon and figured I would try this one which was much cheaper than others and had received some good reviews. Plus, if it turned out bad, I wouldn't be out of a lot of money. I am very pleased with this purchase. It works great and does exactly what it should plus it doesn't get hot with use like the original cord did. It's plugged into my laptop right now actually. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It arrived when it was supposed to without any problems. Excellent price, Great buy!
Purchased Nov 2010. I only paid $10 including s/h (didn't have taxes). This works awesome! The end that connects with the laptop is smooth/round instead of slightly ridgid/pentagon cut like the original/factory power chord. But still works excellent! My original one blew out due to sudden power outage in my building.
The product works just as well in charging and providing power. It doesn't have a three pronged grounded connection, but for this price its well worth it. The item arrived from the seller in exactly the correct time.
The seller(LaptopMate) I purchased this from has harassed me with multiple emails since I left them negative feedback trying to get me to change my feedback. The product itself charges fine and supplies enough power but the connections easily come loose and I have to stop frequently when the cord is moved slightly wrong to reconnect everything. I would highly advise that you look elsewhere for a better product from a more professional seller.
I sometimes forget how true the title of my review can be. I have had this charger for about a week, and it charges just fine. The issue I have noticed is that it gets really hot, and in turn, my laptop seems to heat up more than it usually does. I am a little concerned that this might have long-term consequences, but I'm not sure.
3 months ago when I first purchased this charger/adapter, I would have given it 5 stars. But now, 3 months into using it, it will no longer charge my Dell 1525. And while the product description says there is a 12 month warranty, no one seems to know how to contact the manufacturer. I've talked with Amazon multiple times about this, and since it is past 30 days, they say I need to talk to the manufacturer. But they have no contact information for them, and there is nothing on the adapter about who to call. It's manufactured by SIB, but I've yet to be able to find any current information on them. So while the price may be good, if I'm going to be replacing it every 3 months because I can't get the warranty fulfilled, it's no longer such a bargain. - Dell Inspiron Adapter - Laptop Power Adapters - Laptop Charger - Dell Inspiron'

Blackberry Storm Battery - battery, cell phone battery
i recieved the product in a timely manner. although when i put the battery in my phone it would not accept a charge. After trying to charge the battery for two days with no luck i gave up. ive tried to contact the company and have got no response back. I would advise any one not to buy lthis battery. BlackBerry DX-1 Original Li-Ion Battery for BlackBerry Curve 8900, Tour 9630, Storm 9500 9530 and Storm2 9550
There's a reason why these OEM batteries are so cheap, it's because they've all come from phones that have had some kind of moisture damage and the RED line indicator on the side of the battery is activated. My original OEM battery out of the box is all white, indicating no moisture exposure. Am yet to see how this affects battery life.
I was looking forward to receiving those batteries since the original one in my BB wouldn't last a full day.
I finally received them but my BB Storm 9530 constantly reboots when I put when of those batteries in.
I don't know if there's a compatibility issue or if I got faulty ones but I wouldn't recommand those to anyone...
Item did not arrive after being ordered but contacted seller and got it a few days later. Works as good as the batter that came with the phone and only cost a few dollars (opposed to the $50+ the Verizon store had them priced at)
Update after 6 months of use - battery does not hold a charge well any longer. Still rather pay a couple of dollars every 6 months than $50 for a better battery.
I bought one of these very low priced batteries becauses my year-old battery was not holding a charge for a full day. The battery arrived in a plastic bag, with no way to verify that it was new. I have used it for a couple of days, and it discharges even faster than my original battery.
I received this item about 2 weeks ago and started using it then as my primary battery. I now use my original battery as a backup. Seems like this battery is every bit as good as my original one that came with the phone from Verizon. Charges well, holds a charge well, at least as well as can be expected with a Storm2. :D It appears to be an OEM original, and to one question I saw on another website, it says Made in Japan on it vs. China. I think it is the real deal. - Cell Phone Battery - Blackberry Accessories - Blackberry - Battery'

8 Gig Usb Flash Drive - kingston technology, thumb drive
I bought this for my wife and grandson 5 months ago, I waited to actually give it a fair test period. It has not not given either of them an ounce of problem. It is very reliable and data transfer speed is quick. My wife had a PNY, and it was OK, but it does not compare to the Kingston.
The only drawback is the hole in the end, it is very tiny. I had to purchase a very thin key ring to put on it so they could attach a strap to it. Kingston Digital 8 GB USB 2.0 Hi-speed Datatraveler Flash Drive DT101G2/8GBZ, Red
This Kingston flash drive is similar to the one I owned previously and loved so much. I use a mac and for some reason I'm just not happy with all flash drives, but kingston are very compatible. The red color is very nice, and so is the blue! This particular model of the flash drive has a loop around cap, which really loops a whole 360 degrees, so you'll never lose your caps again (like me). The price on amazon is great, especially if you get it with free shipping :-)
I use thumb drives for various reasons from a portable OS, OS and System tools recovery, and performance boosters. I can say this drive gives you bang for you buck.
I know price has a a lot to do with the Class speed category of the memory used in thumb drives. And for the price I paid (just over $10), I cannot complain. The speed is decent, has a nifty Kingston app on it that allows you to install other popular free apps and games right to it (something I wasn't aware of from Kingston). 8gig for just over $10, you can't go wrong with this purchase. I normally don't rate things 5star, but it also has a built in activity light which is a bonus, so it gets a 5.
I have a collection of USB thumb drives and use them for a wide range of activities. I transport files, use them as a portable work environment, install portable apps, encrypt them with passwords, transport files from one network to another, use them to boot, ReadyBoost, and run an entire OS - things most consumers will never likely care about.
Because I use them so often, it's hard to get excited over a new USB drive unless it has something new or innovative about the design. I'm not excited about this drive. I had an immediate positive reaction to a USB drive with a similar design concept: a small footprint drive with a swinging metal shield. But where the PNY Micro Swivel Attache perfected the swivel design in a tiny 4GB drive, and the HP v115w Flash Drive did the same in a 16GB model, the Datatraveler made a larger, less elegant cover that can hardly be given that name.
It is a good drive, in that it's an excellent price and performs well. There is an activity light that flashes as the drive is being accessed. I don't use the Kingston app, but instead installed PortableApps on it, which works like a charm. But the cover is about useless, providing little if any protection if you were to place the drive in a briefcase, backpack, pocket or drawer. It's loose and swings freely, never staying in place and offering virtually no protection. If you plug this thing in, and hardly ever remove it, except to plug it right in to another computer, then this is probably not going to trouble you. If you wear your USB on a lanyard, it will also not be too much of an issue, since the lanyard will attach at the cap, and gravity will keep it in place.
The price is excellent, but if you need a more rugged drive that travels well, get one that has a better fitting cover design.
The Kingston Digital 8 GB USB 2.0 Hi-speed Datatraveler Glash Drive DT101G2/8GBZ functions very well. The only problem I encountered was to get the driver installed on my computer. I still use Windows Vista. I had to go to the Kingston web site and download the driver. However, with tech support, I discovered I had to unplug my Canon Printer to allow the download to be successful. Kingston tech support, by the way, was the best I have encountered from any other tech support conversation. Kudos to Kingston tech support. I would certainly buy another Kingston product.
I just tried out this Kingston 8 gb USB drive with a couple of my computers. I copied my Amazon MP3 folder from my Mac Mini to this drive using the port on my monitor, which is an older USB 1.0 port. It took almost 8 minutes to transfer 3.64 GB of mp3 files to the drive.
Next, I plugged the drive into my Macbook Pro, which has USB 2.0 ports. It took 3 min 10 sec to transfer the files into my music folder.
I did copy the urdrive software into a folder on my Mac and then deleted from the USB drive before doing the speed tests. I don't know that I'll be using it and it takes up quite a bit of space.
This is a wonderful little USB Flash Drive. The size is perfect for me, as it is small enough to fit in almost all pockets, yet not too small as to be lost easily. My favorite part is the cap design. With a lot of other similar drives, the cap is easily lost or becomes loose and doesn't stay on correctly. The design of this drive's cap removes these complications entirely. Buyers remember that, with the formatting of almost all memory upgrades, the available space is not exactly 8 GB. In this case it is approx 7.5 GB, yet still a wonderful value. - Kingston Technology - Flash Drive - 8 Gig Usb Flash Drive - Thumb Drive'

Personal Cd Player - cd players, cd walkman
After looking at the star ratings and comments for various CD players online, and finding most nothing to brag about, I wandered down to a local store and bought the RCA model RP3013 because it was good looking, had great controls, was cheap enough, and it was an RCA. I also liked having an FM tuner. It comes with earbuds, but I just plugged in a set of my Sennheisers....I'm a traditionalist.
After using it for a week, I am more than happy with my choice.
First, the LCD is on top and easy to read. The buttons for play/pause, stop/off, eq, program, forward and back are also on top of the unit in the form of individual buttons in a semi-circle, very straightforward. Two AA's inside, under a cover....easy to install, unless you have sausage links for fingers. Sound is fine, but not the same as you'd expect from your iPod. Better than I expected however, and yes, I also own a large capacity iPod. The FM radio brings in my stations quite well, with an ST indicator to hone in on the best frequency.
Only negative, it has a wheel for volume, and another wheel for radio station selection, although the selected station is visible in the LCD window. I would have preferred electronic volume and tuning buttons. Kind of a surprising omission, but I can live with it. Just not crazy about wheels. Kind of 80's technology.
Anyhow, overall, very intuitive controls, good sound, decent battery life, a good purchase. RCA RP3013 Personal CD Player with FM Radio
I am so happy with this CD player/radio! My Sony finally bit the dust and I decided to try another brand. This RCA is simple to use, even the compartment for battery replacement is easy to find. I use this when I go on walks and have had no problems with radio reception. The quality of CD sound is really good. I bought one for my Mom.
This CD player was a very pleasant surprise. Most of the experiences with portable CD players have not been good. This player is easy to operate the sound is very good and FM radio is clear. An excellent purchase for the money.
Unless I am doing something wrong, there does not seem to be a resume play mode on this player. Yes you can "pause" the play and restart at the same point on the CD, but if the player is left on pause the batteries are still in use and will wear down. If the player is stopped, then there is no way to resume play from the place where the cd was stopped except to use the fast forward feature which is inconvenient. I just assumed there would be a resume feature on this product and would not have purchased it if I had realized there was no resume feature. Other than that, it is a very nice player for the money. The resume feature is important to me because I mostly use the player with audio books. If I am wrong about there not being a resume feature, would someone please advise me how it works?
After reading all the negatives about the current Sony models, decided to try this one. I'll chime in with "five stars" for this thing, as well! Reasonably priced, easy to use, sounds great. The main controls are mounted on the top, buttons well marked and easy to understand. Decent instructions (download the user guide above!) We'll see about "durability" over the next few months, but a big plus is a ONE YEAR warrantee, as opposed to the 3-months from Sony. One thing not mentioned in the specs here for the thing is whether or not it plays CD-R discs, and thankfully it plays them fine. The radio portion is very sensitive and pulls in tons of stations. The earphones (as is usual with ANY cheaper player) are nothing to write home about, but any decent set of phones sounds great. Hasn't really "skipped" with reasonably careful handling. Also sounds fantastic plugged into the "auxiliary" input of our vintage tube radio! For $25, it's an excellent buy. Hopefully it will last!
I've been looking for a cd player for 6 months now. One that works good and is easy to use. This is it! If you're looking for a cd player with great sound and usable features then here it is. I'm tickled beyond compare! You absolutely must get this cd player if that's what you're looking for!
This CD player is ok.... but unfortunately it does not have a backlight, so if you're getting it for your teen or tween or want it in the car, you need the light on to see what you're doing! We spent a little more to get what we thought was a decent player, but were disappointed. - Cd Players - Portable Cd Player - Cd Walkman - Cd Player'

Thumb Sucking - thumb sucking, thumb guard
We bought this after trying every other remedy, and our 23 month old daughter stopped sucking her fingers in 2 1/2 weeks!! We'd been trying for an entire year, and this was like magic. We left it on at all times for the first two weeks, and then only at nighttime and nap times for the next couple of days, but she had no interest in her fingers anymore, so we just took it off entirely. The fingerguard didn't seem to terribly impede her as she ate and played, and she actually didn't mind it at all after the first day. She would happily put her fingers up for it after I washed it. We loved this and recommend it... but I do think that they could offer it for a cheaper price. It is only plastic after all! Stop Finger Sucking with Finger Guard Kit (Size Small/Ages 3-4)
It's been 3 days since we took it off (after wearing for 3.5 weeks). It was secure, but he did developt the habit of gnawing on the thing and it began to rip. I'd say the plastic needs to be harder and we put some foul-tasting substance on his favorite gnawing spots to counter the problem. In my opinion, still too expensive but can't argue with the results.
It worked for my 4 Year old daughter. It took two weeks. The first night was the hardest, she cried for about 1/2 hour but it was easier after that. I am happy to report that after 2 weeks she 100% does NOT suck her fingers. Thanks for this product.
Very surprised by how much success it was for my 3.5 year old daughter. She was addicted to sucking her middle and ring fingers of her left hand just a month or so after birth. I saw this finger guard product in Amazon and thought i would give it a try, not expecting much out of it. I warned my daughter about the arrival of this product. I raved it a lot and when she actually possessed it 9 days ago, she was overwhelmed. We put it on her during her nap and night and it was successful from day one. I couldn't believe it and neither could we all (family). Now, she still asks us to put it on, just to reassure herself. During the last 9 days, she has been to a dental appointment, is now having fever, and yet, she never put her fingers in her month anymore. Very blessed as she will be having an upcoming dental appointment which can be quite draining. If she can stay on being so stable without sucking, I think she can overcome her next dental appointment fine. Give it a try. May not suit everyone but it certainly put all my worries about prolonged sucking behind me. Almost forgot to mention, now that she doesn't suck, she talks a LOT more, like a chatterbox. I think sucking has been deterring her speech a bit but now, I expect her to catch up.
My daughter was turning 4 and she was constantly sucking her 2 fingers to the point where they were so raw and her nails didn't really grow because it was always wet. I wanted to wait until she turned 4years old to correct her thumb sucking because I felt this was her means for consoling herself. I didn't want to try the hot tabasco or nail polish because a lot of mothers have all told me that they don't work. So my sister recommended this product because her daughter was a thumb sucker and it worked within a week. When the finger kit arrived, my daughter and I watched the DVD together and I had her pick a color for the wrist guard. I only had her wear it at night since most of her finger sucking was when she slept. She had fun every night picking a new color for her wrist guard and within 2 weeks she was no longer "finger sucking". We recommended it to my husbands co-worker and now he is happy to say, his daughter is not sucking her fingers anymore.
My daughter could not stop sucking her index and middle fingers since she turned 2. We tried positive reinforcement and correcting the behavior every change we got. She woke up with her fingers in her mouth, rode to daycare with them in her mouth and went to bed every night with them in her mouth. We tried the nail polish and many other solutions but nothing worked. It got to be a joke around our house when we'd ask her "where do your fingers belong?" and she'd respond "Not in the mouth!" as she smiled and did the opposite!
This device, while more expensive that any other solution, really did work. She's been using it for over a month and has almost completely stopped wanting to suck her fingers when we take it off for cleaning. I am so impressed with the simple design and it's effectiveness. If you're serious about getting your kid to stop sucking their fingers, buy this device.
Despite great reviews, this didn't work for us. We gave it a good solid 3 months +. Our 4 yr old daughter began sucking her OTHER finger. Didn't want to purchase a second and have BOTH hands confined. So we decided to wait a little longer to reintroduce the idea....hopefully she will be more at a point of WANTING to stop. I think you really need for your child to be on board and to truly want the help to stop the habit. - Thumb Sucking - Thumb Guard'

Light Bulbs - compact fluorescent bulbs, energy efficient
The seller was great but the bulbs left something to be desired.
I got them around September 4th 2009 and here it is November 4th 2009 and half of the bulbs are dead.
The package says they are 5 year bulb's well if so that 5 years just blew by.
I contacted GE about this but don't expect to hear anything back from them.
I would say stay away from these GE CF bulbs. GE 26 Watt Energy Smart CFL - 6 Pack - 100 Watt Replacement
Compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL bulbs) do use significantly less energy than incandescent bulbs (IC bulbs), so if you eventually replace all your burned out IC bulbs with CFL bulbs, you will see a decrease in your electric bill. However, CFL bulbs are more expensive, so it will take a while to recover their higher cost with your savings in electricity. And there are some other problems:
1. These GE CFL bulbs do NOT last five years in normal use like GE claims, so their long-term cost advantage over IC bulbs is not as great as advertised. The five years is a dubious GE advertising claim which is apparently based on continuous usage, that is, never turning the light off. I have bought a few packages of spiral GE CFL bulbs over the last few years, and at least half of them have burned out - well before the five year claim.
2. CFL bulbs need to warm up. When you first turn the bulb on there is a slight delay before any light is produced (less than one second). Also, there is a short time before it comes up to full light output, although this has improved in the latest bulbs. However, if you are using them outside or in a garage, this warm up period can be a few minutes if it is cold.
3. If you break the bulbs, they release a small amount of mercury vapor into the surrounding area. The federal and state governments and GE say it is a tiny amount, so you shouldn't be worried. But they also say that the bulbs are considered unsafe to put in landfills, so you are supposed to double bag all broken CFL bulbs, store them away from children, and take them somewhere that can dispose of them properly. (There is only one store in my area that takes them.) So I guess they are not a health problem according to the government, but then again, they are.
Because of this, an inexpensive regular IC bulb or rough-service IC bulb is better than a CFL bulb for use in applications where the bulb could often break, like in a "trouble light" (a portable work light with a cord).
4. The electronic parts in a CFL bulb can get hot and fail prematurely in some applications. Inside the base of the CFL bulb are some electronic parts. If you mount the bulb with the base up inside a recessed lighting fixture or in any fully enclosed fixture with no ventilation, these electronic parts will get hotter than usual, and the bulb won't last as long.
5. The light from CFLs has a different hue than the light from IC bulbs and does not look as natural, meaning that the colors you see on objects in the room don't look quite right compared to natural solar light. This is particularly true when compared to the IC bulbs from GE and Sylvania that are advertised to produce natural-looking light. While older CFL bulbs looked noticeably blue, the light has improved significantly in the newest GE bulbs. However, most people can still notice a difference from IC bulbs.
6. In any case, politicians are going to force you to buy these bulbs whether you like them or not. The U.S. Congress passed legislation that will soon effectively outlaw IC bulbs, except for certain high and low wattage bulbs, and some other specialty IC bulbs.
IMPORTANT SIZE NOTE: Because of the plastic base which houses the electronic parts, these 26 Watt GE CFL bulbs are about one inch longer than the 100 Watt IC bulbs that they are supposed to replace (with about the same amont of light output). So if you are putting them in a small lamp or small light fixture, they may stick out too far and look odd. GE also makes smaller 13 Watt CFL bulbs (to replace 60 Watt IC bulbs) are about 3/4" longer than IC bulbs, so they would work better in small lamps or fixtures.
They work fine, but we noticed right away that these aren't as bright as the GE Reveal Incandescent 100 watt bulbs that we replaced. We put them in our bathroom over the vanities, and it is now noticeably dimmer in there when we're using the mirrors, getting dressed, etc. Now we're shopping for more powerful CFL's. We'll probably try to find some 125 or 150 watt equivalent CFL bulbs so that they'll be as bright as the 100 watt incandescent bulbs they're replacing.
I haven't used these long enough to comment on their life, but they seem great so far. They fit much better than 100W equivalents of the past. I put these in several places around the house. I probably need to buy another dozen. I want to try a couple in my garage door opener to see how well they live with the shaking. The best thing about these is the start-up time. They seem very bright the moment you turn them on, which a lot of CFLs do not do.
The good: These bulbs are very bright, Seemed brighter than 100 Watt output. All six in my bathroom lit up every single corner.
The bad: These bulbs lasted two weeks! I had read the reviews and figured people had received defective bulbs and that mine would be fine, they were not. I have other CF bulbs around the house and they have been fine for the past 7 months, but these bulbs died too quickly and were a waste of money. I am going to contact amazon to see if I can get some kind of return. There really is no explanation. I thought maybe the dimmer switch in my bathroom was the problem, but my bedroom lamp is also a CF bulb with a dimmer switch and I've had no problems with it. Don't buy these, they are bright, but won't last long.
I recently rehabbed a rental property. In the process, we replaced all the light fixtures with new ones. I needed bulbs for these fixtures. I ended up going with CFL's because they would be more efficient and I assume the tenants would appreciate it. These bulbs fit into all of the fixtures we installed. The bulbs were inexpensive. I purchased 4 packs (32 bulbs) for $50. The light quality is good and it doesn't have a very log start up time. It's almost instantaneously. If you're looking for quality, yet inexpensive CFL bulbs, this is the way to go. - Compact Fluorescent Bulbs - Energy Efficient - Ge - Cfl'

Iphone 4 - iphone 4 case, skins
I bought this bumper for my verizon iPhone 4. Unfortunately it did not fit. The hole for the ringer button is in the wrong place. Over all its a decent bumper but I wish they had mentioned that it is ONLY for the original AT&T model. I was really disappointed. Bumper Case for Apple iPhone4 - Bumper with chrome buttons for volume and power - Orange
Received this product in the mail yesterday along with the green version. The materials of both products are different and neither are as advertised. There are no chrome buttons, no mixture of hard plastic and silicone to provide grip + protection. I wouldn't trust this product to protect the phone from breakage. Also, the shut off button at the top right of the iphone won't operate while in the case, so it is dysfunction as well. Obviously when you pay $0.30 for a product your expectations should be low for the product, but I expect it to be as advertised at a minimum.
Fits snugly on my white iPhone 4. Makes my phone look like an orange creamsicle. Please note that this bumper (like the OEM Apple one) restricts charging to just the USB cord that comes with the phone. Most aftermarket chargers and cables will be too fat. As far as I can tell, this is just like OEM apple quality, at a fraction of the price. Would recommend getting front AND back screen protector stickers, because this type of bumper case does not offer any protection for the back.
This case appears to be well built and it fits my white AT&T phone perfectly. However my case appears more pink than orange, maybe a pink florescent 80's orange. So if you want orange, this might not be for you.
I just received this product today and I was extremely happy with the result. The bumper was sent and I received it in 2 days! The itom is 94% cheeper than the real thing, and by comparison of this to the real thing they are almost exactly the same, but this one seams more sturdy. Great product buy this instead of the real bumper and everything is almost exactly the same! Great job!
I bought the Orange bumper for my phone when I bought it in 4 months ago and after 3 weeks, it was beginning to look dirty and I too was noticing that it was scratching up the stainless steel sides of my iphone. Also, the headphone jack and the data/charging port are only compatible with an Apple cable or Apple headphones which requires you to take the case off an awful lot which isn't preferred but taking it off also began to wear down the case overall...it lost its tension on the phone and the rubber began to peel away from the plastic.
Overall, very disappointed with this considering that I purchased it as an Apple product for $30...I would highly recommend spending less and getting a better case from InCase or such as this product is faulty. I now have a clear hard case from InCase that I am very happy with. Don't make the same mistake and waste money like I did...
The mold seems to be identical to the OEM Apple Bumpers, but the materials used are different. I won't say better or worse, just different. The rubber/silicone is definitely much harder than the Apple Bumper. If you're not running any screen protectors or removing frequently to put it in the dock, this is a good thing. If, like me, you have Zagg InvisiShield on your iPhone, it can be a little troublesome to try and remove the bumper as its so tight and rigid that it will peel the Zagg off. For the price, I can recommend it in certain situations. Not a bad product, just not very compatible with screen protectors, which it never claimed to be.
I ordered an orange bumper for my phone. It arrived in a case that had Apple's website and address on the back, so I assume they are original Apple parts. The hard plastic still looks good, but the soft rubber has gotten dirty and dull. They offer good protection against falls - the hard plastic will chip instead of the phone breaking. - Iphone 4 Case - Iphone 4 - Skins'

I LOVE this! The price is great & it shipped within 2 days after ordering it! I get so many complements on how great looking it is. I bought it to replace a cheap Hello Kitty 1 I bought at Ross. It said it was 4 Gen, but it was more like 3 Gen, it didn't fit & didn't have a hole for the camera. This 1 is gorgeous & fits perfectly. Installing it is really easy too, snaps on great. My iPod has a "cherry blossom" wallpaper, so this "cherry blossom" case went along perfectly with my wallpaper. Snap-On Protector Hard Case for iPod Touch 4th Generation / 4th Gen - Spring Flower Design
My guy bought an ipod for me, for my birthday in December. He also bought this case. It is PERFECT! The case is well made and the design is beautiful! I have the newest ipod (4th gen) and the holes align perfectly.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004450TGM/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title
This case is working just fine. I like the pattern and because it is colorful, it's easy to find in my tote. I had to remove the case to install a new screen protector and it wasn't too difficult to remove and a snap to replace. Pardon the pun. Shipping was relatively fast.
I cannot say anything good about this snap-on case except it was very pretty and looked just like the photo. It broke the first time I put it on my iPod Touch. There was a little peice of plastic on the interior side of it which just snapped off when I was putting it on. I was aware that it being a rigid plastic that I should be careful with it but it broke anyway. When I got the case on because of the little peice that broke off, it would not stay closed in one corner. I didn't bother returning it for a refund as it was so cheap. Also I wasn't happy with the slipperyness of it. I have changed it now for a rubber one that stays better in the hand and is much easier to put on.
Well, I thought that the case would be a bit more durable considering it is plastic, but the case is actually pretty cheap. The design makes up for some of it though, however its like looks over purpose; like the relationship between a woman and their high heels. It was great for the price though, a lot cheaper than the more expensive cases. Next time I might just go for rubber instead of plastic. Look on the bright side! I got it in the mail within 4 days, I liked receiving the envelope!
It's pretty and fits perfectly. I see some reviews saying it wasn't for the iPod 4G. But I have the 4G and it fits my iPod, which is still functional with the case on it. The material is cheap, but honestly if you're paying less than a dollar for it what do you expect.
Easy to snap on, beautiful design, and it's already proven itself useful when I accidentally dropped my iPod on some tile flooring - with no damage to the case that I can see! You won't find a better case and definitely not for the price.
The case is pretty enough but the description says it protects both the front AND back of the iPod touch and it doesn't actually contain any sort of screen protection. It's OK for what I paid for it but it isn't correctly described.
I tried putting this cover on my ipod touch 4th generation, and it fit, but the clasps on the sides wouldn't go together. If you're wanting a cheap case, don't buy this one because it ends up being a waste of money. Maybe I got the lemon of the batch, but I wouldn't buy this case because it does not work. - Cover - Case - Ipod Touch Accessories - Ipod Accessories'
