Camcorder Cases - high definition, camcorder cases

This fits my camcorder well and does the job it's supposed to of protecting it. Does not interfere with use of any buttons or ports and is not bulky or unattractive. I used this as well as the Zagg screen protector and my camcorder seems completely protected. Sony LCJTSA/W Clear Protective Jacket for Bloggie Camera

i purchased this item on a review and a poor photo ,it appeared to be a protective cover and i thought that it was going to coverthe whole bloggie,well you cant believe everything you see or are told.on arrival it is just an overprced plastc sleeve that only partially covers the unit.it is not worth returning due to the return/restocking policy ,so i have since purchased the gizmo dorks silicone sleeve [which does the same job but for less money ialso get a wall charger and car charger much better value,dont by the sony one.i had to give a one star rating it wouldnt allow me to put a minus .

This is a great case. I love how they made the tops and bottoms smooth but the middle of the back is kinda like sandpaper and is easier to grip. I agree this is overpriced but where there are not many options this is a good one. There is craftsmanship to this case and its not just one of the $1 cases that barley work.

this case is very overpriced for what it is, but it does work well. got the product in a very timely manner from the seller. the case itself fits the bloggie perfectly, and the texture adds needed grip to the device. the plastic is hard enough to protect but soft enough to easily put on. overall, very happy with the product. i only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price.

Great slim protective cover for the Bloggie. Fits and feels great. Only downside is that it blocks the tripod head socket but that's not really too big of an issue anyway as you'll probably be carrying it around.

This is a genuine Sony product specifically made for the Sony Bloggie Touch MHS-TS20. It fits perfect and the look and feel is good too. The only thing that may have been overlooked is if you want to use a tripod with your Bloggie because you'll have to remove the case because the tripod hole is covered up. I don't think many of you will think this is a big deal, but it's good to know. - Camcorder Cases - High Definition - Sony - Camera Cases'

Senco - senco, finish nailer

Wow! What a tool. I am building a home, and decided to do a good chunk of the trim carpentry. Knowing about this technology over 2 years ago(as I call on Senco), I was pleased to find out it was available when it was time for me to purchase a finish nailer. I have every pnuematic gun, except for the finish nailer. I was skeptical at first, but after 8 LONG days of hanging 27 doors, casing all the doors & windows, and putting up base, I'm happy to report the gun is amazing. The idea/technology is pretty simple, and am surprised no one was able to make this before 2010... but, I'm sure there is a lot more to it.

Size is good, battery life is good - at first, I wished I had a 2nd battery, but the quick charge feature made me question that. 2 of the 8 days, i ran out of charge(no idea how many nails fired), but a short 15 mins in the charger, and it was enough to finish the day's work. 2 1/2 in nails had no problem hanging doors... it sometimes didn't countersink when firing into some tougher areas of wood, but overall pretty impressive. 2" & 1 1/2" nails had NO PROBLEM countersinking DEEP into everything. Took some time getting used to the nose & it's size/where the nail would actually fire out... but again, just a learning curve(A smaller nose would be nicer, however).

The gun saved me lugging my compressor in & out of the house everyday, as well as dragging it and/or airlines all over the home. Easily saved me 3-5 hours, and probably more.

I initially thought I would use the gun for building my home, and then selling on Craigslist or something. Now, I'm pretty sure I'll keep it forever. In the past, there have been many times when I'd want to use an air nailer, but didn't want to go to the hassle of getting out the compressor & dragging it to the job. Now, I'll always have this thing... think I'm going to use it a lot more than I had originally thought.

Overall, a great tool, at a great price($400). SENCO FN65DA F-15 15 GA Fusion Finish Nailer

I just picked this nailer up for trim work to replace my Paslode. I installed 12 interior doors with it and another 15 doors the following day. It worked great. My only complaint is the battery does not last long. I have another battery on order. The tip is on the big side for fine nail placement, but for things like setting doors, crown or installing shelving it would work fine. Another review I read said the case sucks, it does but it wouldn't keep me from buying another one.

We were early adopters of the new Senco Fusion technology. I was skeptical at first when my general partner bought one for our use because it seemed pricey, but we decided to give it a try. Our business specializes in residential and office remodeling, where dragging compressors and air hoses around can be time consuming and possbly damage trim work. This nailer is great since you just grab it and go. No cartridges or smell. Batteries charge right away (we have two). The Senco rep says the pressurized cartridge will last for 200,000 shots and the replacement is $180.

Now, the guy working with the air hose is jealous. We can't wait for the 18ga finish nailer to come out in June 2011.

Not a shill review - we use several Senco, Hitachi and Porter Cable finish nailers in our work. They all work super. With hoses.

Hope this helps-

First off let me say this, finally someone got it right. I am contractor and was looking and patiently waiting for someone to produce a truly contractor grade cordless nailer. I have found it in this tool. I found this tool earlier this week and at first was somewhat skeptical. After I called SENCO directly, which by the way was a great experience, I was sold. This tool does everything that it says it does and in my opinion will be unbeatable by anyone else that tries. It is lightweight, charges fast, easy to use, and most importantly drives every nail every time perfectly,

If you are a contractor, home improvement specialist, remodeler, or finish carpenter then this is the tool for you. I know, I know I sound like an advertisement for the company. Maybe they will give me some nails or something for free out of this, but I am really that impressed with this nailer. It is rugged, charges fast, and the designers of this tool had professionals in mind. I can say that it paid for itself the first time I used it.

I've had the Fusion 15 GA nailer for a few weeks, and it's performing well. It replaces a Paslode 14 GA cordless nailer. The only gripe so far is that the 15 GA nails will split thinner trim, such as door casing, more often than the Paslode's 14 GA nails did. That's not the fault of the nailer. It works well enough, especially with heavier trim like brickmold that I'll probably get the Fusion 18 GA nailer once it's available.

It's got a mechanical sounding shot, not a pneumatic one but it's acceptably quiet for use in my consumer's homes. Especially compared to the rifle-shot of the Paslode. I'd always try to remember to warn homeowners that I was about to shoot nails with the Paslode. When forgotten, I'd get responses ranging from screams to, "Are you OK? I thought that you fell off a ladder or something."

It's been in the teens and 20s here in Wisconsin. The Fusion is kept in the truck, and it's worked consistently right out of the cold. The Paslode required the fuel cell to warm up under an arm for a few minutes before it would fire reliably.

I've used the nail jamb clearing feature only once. It performed as described, making a ratcheting sound as the driving pin reset itself. The depth gauge is easy to read and adjust. Nails mostly go to the depth expected, and when they stand proud it's easier to set the heavy 15 GA nails without bending or having the nail-set slip than it was with the 14 GA ones.

So far, no regrets. - Senco - Finish Nailer - Finish Nailers'

Batterytender Charger Battery - motorcycle, motorcycle battery charger

These are great units but if you are going to attach the quick disconnect to a modern automotive battery installed in an auto, think twice. Newer battery cables do NOT allow these rings to attach to the battery at the battery posts. You'll have to connect the 'Rings' to another positive and negative terminal location.

If using on an auto, a better option is the cigarette lighter/power plug unit. http://www.amazon.com/Deltran-Battery-Disconnect-Cigarette-Adapter/dp/B000NCMSAK/ref=pd_sim_auto_title_3

Quality of the unit is very good. 4 stars because they don't say, will not work on all battery's. Also, the rings are not large enough to accomodate an automotive battery cable post attachment. The holes must be enlarger unless you are attached to other than the atcual battery Battery Tender 081-0069-6 Ring Terminal Harness with Black Fused 2-Pin Quick Disconnect Plug

Makes charging your battery very easy with the quick disconnect. just connect it to your battery and it is there when you need to connect your

charger! the fused link is also a great idea in case of a miss connection

or a surge to the battery.

I am very please with this product, it is extremely convenient so you can access your battery to keep it maintained in easy to difficult area`s. Good price, very fast shipping, even a day earlier than the estimated time.

Thank you,

Doug H.

I purchased the Battery Tender Junior for the Mini in storage. The tender came with one of these and the battery clamps. I purchased this one for the same tender and the Ford Explorer for the summer storage.

This nicely constructed connector is not appropriate for general use with the Kintrex SPC0601. The red lead of this connector will actually be hooked up to the negative contact on the charger. While it is possible to switch the battery connections it is not something for the uninitiated.

My daughter has an older Ferrari that is driven very infrequently, so keeping the battery up has always been a challenge. More often than not, it meant replacing the battery every year. She got the Battery Tender, but her battery is in a compartment beneath an access door that sits under the spare tire. By installing the quick disconnect harness and letting it protrude up above the spare tire, we eliminate the bother of removing the spare and the access door each time we want to connect or disconnect the Battery Tender. Indoor Floodlight Lightbulb - compact fluorescent

"the Amazon description says nothing about this..."

When I bought 6 Jan 2011 the description said:

"SYLVANIA 65-Watt 130-Volt BR30 Indoor Flood, 6-Pack Consumer Value Pack # 65BR30 CVP 6PK"

"Voltage: 130 volts"

I _AGREE_ that Amazon should SHOUT that these are 130V lamps, AND that they will be LESS-BRIGHT and LAST LONGER when used on common 115V-125V supply.

But 130V incandescent lamps ARE a common practice for certain situations.

130V lamps on 120V power last 2.5 times longer!!

As a rough guide: if incandescent lamp replacement costs (salary, ladder, downtime) are more than the bulb, you will probably save money by using the next higher voltage bulb.

"for houses that don't exist (who has 130 volt lines?)"

Many-many homes now get 125V power. I have 124V. Standard 120V-design lamps burn bright and die early.

"...for houses that do exist they'll be dimmer than the advertised 65w."

Yes, although "65W" is not the light, it is the power consumed at nominal 130V voltage. Both power and light will be less at 120V, but life will be longer.

The Sylvania box is quite clear:

Performance === at 130V = at 120V

Watts actual: ===== 65 ----- 57

Lumens (light): === 640 ---- 470

Lifetime avg: ==== 2000 --- 5000

Yes, 73% as much light for 88% as much electric bill, but _250%_ as much life!

When replacement cost is small, such as home undercounter lights, 130V lamps are a bad buy.

When line-voltage is near 125V (which is very common), 120V lamps have short life, 130V lamps may be a better balance of life and light.

When replacement cost is large, when you have to pay a worker to go up a ladder, the reduced replacement labor costs can often justify the extra lights and power required to get a specific light level. Schools and factories often specify 130V because of high labor costs.

Suppose I want 12 foot-candles all over my 2-car garage. I need 5700 lumens. I can use nine 120@120 lamps or twelve 130@120 lamps.

I compute cost for a full year 24/7 (2.4 hours/day for 10 years will be similar). Each of the nine 120@120 sockets will eat 4.4 bulbs. Each of the twelve 130@120 sockets will eat only 1.8 bulbs.

The nine 65W (120@120) consume 582 Watts. The twelve 57W (130@120) consume 684 Watts.

rating: === 120@120 ----- 130@120

bulbs ======= $200 ---------$110 (at $5/bulb)

power: ====== $770 -------- $900 (at $0.15/KWh)

total: ======= $970 ------ $1,100

difference: ---------------- +$130 (130@120V eats more power for the same light)

bulb changes == 40 ----------- 22 (130@120V lasts longer for the same light)

$130 more operating cost but 18 fewer lamp-changes. If a bulb-change costs over $7.22 (labor or inconvenience), the 130V bulbs are cheaper total operating cost.

If your actual voltage is closer to 125V, then 130V bulbs may make sense even at $3/change costs.

In a kitchen, use the 120v bulbs. In my 124V garage I need the long ladder to reach the ceiling, and I'd rather do that less often. Sylvania 15172 65-Watt 130-Volt BR30 Indoor Flood, 6 Pack

Instead of having to drive to Home Depot and waste gas, make a line, and pay sales tax, these light bulbs were delivered free and at a better price. They work just as you would expect from a light bulb.

Have used only one in our kitchen. Bright white light. Will replace our older regular floods with these when they burn out unless the comparison causes us to move sooner. Sorry about the other reviewer. This is a great light.

Received the shipment and all the bulbs are working. One thing I noticed though, Amazon has increased the price from 14.99 to 20.99. It is interesting to see such a fluctuation in price in such a short time (it has been less than a month).

I was a bit wary of ordering these bulbs considering the reviews of people getting bad bulbs, but the price was too good to pass up and I needed a bunch. I ordered 3 cases and have used 9 bulbs from 2 of the cases and every single bulb worked fine. I'm also not sure why the fuss about 130V since my understanding is that this will only translate into a slightly lower actual wattage, but longer life. Anyways from a practical standpoint, when I replaced the bulbs they were just as bright as the other bulbs we have. I'm glad I took the chance and will definitely order again when I need more bulbs. Also, Amazon packaged them very well with a lot of air-packing and not a single bulb was broken!

I bought a case of 12 of these about a year ago because we have 8 can lights in the kitchen and four of the previous Verilux bulbs all seemed to need replacing at once. Well, we have gone through eleven of these in one year! We replaced those four Verilux right away, and then over the next year replaced the four other Verilux and three of these Sylvanias. I came down this morning (it's a grey day here in Seattle) and when I turned on the light the kitchen looked kind of gloomy. Three more Sylvanias have burned out! And it was February of 2010 when I bought them. This is not what I consider a good life for a light bulb (bulbs we put in our pendant lamps in 2007 are still going strong) so I'm on the hunt for a different bulb.

The box states clearly on the front "Notice: This product is designed for 130 volts. When used on the normal line voltage of 120 volts, bulb life is noticeably increased but the efficiency and light output are reduced." So the spec'ed rating is for houses that don't exist (who has 130 volt lines?) and for houses that do exist they'll be dimmer than the advertised 65w. Not sure how many stars to give it -- the box is very clear, but the Amazon description says nothing about this (that I could see) - Compact Fluorescent'

Harry Potter Movie

This was really good to see. It highlighted some of the scenes from the first 5 Harry Potter films. It gave a little depth into Harry's plight and allowed us to see Hermoine, Ron and him as they grew over their years at Hogwarts. I think anybody who hasn't been a Harry Potter fan will see this and be intrigued to want to watch the movies. Great job on whoever put it together!!!!!! Harry Potter Years 1 - 5

Don't you think it's curious that Amazon Instant Video has loads of these non-movies (10 minute previews)? Isn't it curious that they are the first images you see when doing a quick check of what movies are available on Amazon Instant Video and these non-movies just happen to have the same picture (cover) as the full length movie? I think it's obvious they get folks to sign up for Amazon Instant Video thinking that there are some new releases (Harry Potter, Avatar, King's Speech, etc), only to find these are mere previews or advertisements or how they filmed some scene. Am I wrong?

I'm going to have one more look to see if there are any movie I've ever heard of on Amazon Instant Video.

I like to "relive the magic" before reading or watching the next in a series. I reread each previous Harry Potter before moving on to the newest, and watched each movie before heading to the theater. This series of previews is an advertisement telling you to do that. It is the theatrical trailers for each of the first 6 movies strung together, with a couple shots thrown in recommending you watch the first 5 movies on BluRay or DVD before watching the 6th movie. I suppose it accomplishes exactly what it set out to do, I just didn't realize that I was getting trailers. In short, it's not that there was anything wrong, per se, with this download, but there was also pretty much no point. Unless you really really like previews. Then, have at it! I was hoping for some commentary or something, but it really is just the trailers.

I used this as a test to see if the streaming abilities of Amazon are comparable to what I had before I fired Netflix. I've already started a Blockbuster account to cover the discs (blue ray and games were a great add from what Netflix offered) and now I need to find a streaming home. This worked fine, but I need to figure out the price of streaming here vs. other locations. Preview was a good show as to how the system works, but there doesn't appear to be anything really for free here without a prime membership.'

Family Movie - family movie, blu-ray

First, I loved the movie. My complaint is not with the film but with the so called digital copy that is indicated as included on the cover. The "Digital Copy" included with this blu-ray can only be used on a Sony PSP when installed via a Sony PS3. I often preorder these family movies because I want to have the digital copy for my son to watch on my laptop or iPod. Had I known that this digital copy would not work like every other digital copy I've purchased; I would not have paid retail. I will certainly be thinking twice before purchasing another Sony blu-ray with a "Digital Copy." Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs [Blu-ray 3D]

Very good movie, liked it in the theater. I wanted to post this right away, though. Buyer Beware, digital copy works only on PS3 to download to PSP. I'm very disappointed. This is in fine print on the back of the case. Deceptive on Sony's part. Really reduces value of Blu ray in my book.

***This is a review for the 3D Disc that plays with shutter-active glasses.***

I was so happy when I got my first retail 3D movie in the mail today.

This movie played perfectly with my Samsung LN46C750 LCD TV, and Samsung BD-C6900 blu-ray player and the Samsung 3D Starter Kit SSG-P2100T which has the battery operated glasses, and the Onkyo HT-S3300 3D system.

I did not notice any "ghosting" as mentioned in other reviews in the Monster vs. Aline's movie which I have and did see a little.

I am so happy there was a new movie to watch with my TV setup, I wish the Big TV guys would stop matching the new movies with purchase of a new TV system, like Panasonic has done with Coraline & Ice Age 3.

I did not see this movie in theaters when it was out the for whoever disagrees about the new 3D technology must not own one. I was lucky to be able to upgrade because of a home robbery. This is a great new technology that I can now enjoy at home, as close as possible the the 3D movies in theaters today! I will be buying every new 3D movie that comes out or is on pre-order as soon as I can find out about it.

The only "down side" I can think of about this movie, is that the menu of the Blu-ray did not have the special 3D viewing or just normal 2D view with nothing special.

SPECIAL FEATURES included on this disc are:

* BD Live

* Open Season 3D Sneak Peek

* Monster House 3D Sneak Peek

* A Recipe for Success: Making of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

* Key Ingredients: The Voices of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs

* 2 Extended Scenes

* 2 Early Development Scenes

* 5 Progression Reels with Introductions by Visual Effects Supervisor Rob Bredow

* "Raining Sunshine" Music Video

* Behind the Scenes of Miranda Cosgrove's "Raining Sunshine" Music Video

It looks like it does not have the Sing-A-Long nor the Flint's Food Fight Game nor the Interactive "Splat" Button (Throw Food at the Screen While You Watch the Movie!) as are on the 2D Blu-ray Disc.

In 2009, the animated film "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" was released in theaters. Adapted from the popular book from 1978 by Judi Barrett and illustrations by Ron Barrett, CWACoM took three years to develop and feature animation by Sony Pictures Animation.

The film adaptation and direction is by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (both are executive producers of the popular CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" and also the MTV animated series "Clone High"). Music is by Mark Mothersbaugh ("Fanboys", "Mama's Boy", "Lords of Dogtown") and the film is produced by Pam Marsden (producer of "Dinosaur" and "Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas").

"Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" received positive reviews from critics and debuted at #1 in the box office, raking in $180+ million worldwide. Now the film gets its first Blu-ray release and includes the Blu-ray, the DVD and a digital copy (a code is provided to download a digital copy from the PlayStation Network) for those who own a Sony PSP or Playstation 3 System.

AUDIO & VIDEO:

"Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" is featured in 1080p High Definition and I know that Pixar and DreamWorks animation gets a lot of attention for their animated work but Sony Pictures Animation has done a remarkable job with this film.

The picture quality on HD is absolutely vibrant and colorful. Water and liquid effects look absolutely terrific and realistic while the detail of the town Swallow Falls during its normal appearance of a seaside town to a town filled with food and sporting different scenery.

In fact, things look absolutely amazing during the second half as we see solid animation being utilized throughout the film. From the outdoor mayhem to the overall details of the various foods (especially when larger) causing destruction around the town area, it looks absolutely great. Awesome picture quality for this Blu-ray release.

As for the accompanying DVD, the DVD is featured in 16×9 Full Screen (1:78:1) and also anamorphic widescreen (2:35:1).

As for audio, the Blu-ray is featured in English and French 5.1 DTS-HD MA and Spanish 5.1. Dialogue is clear and understandable through the front and center channel, music definitely sets the mood as it plays from the front channels but good use of special effects such as the clouds rumbling, the sound of thunder, flying vehicles flying through the clouds through the surround channels. Good use of LFE for nice low rumbles coming from the subwoofer.

Fans of the film will enjoy the immersive soundtrack from this film as there is very good use of the various channels throughout the film, especially during the film's latter half.

The accompanying DVD is presented in English, French and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital.

Subtitles are featured in English, English SDH, French and Spanish.

JUDGMENT CALL:

"Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" is an enjoyable family film. The children will love it and even the adults. The film is well-written and Sony Pictures Animation really went all out in making sure this film looks visually appealing. Artistically, the animation and artistic backgrounds are just spectacular.

As mentioned before, there is so much positive press for Pixar films and also DreamWorks animated films but Sony really pulled off an awesome 3D animated film with "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". Definitely a unique presentation in terms of characters but it's just the overall look of the film with its vibrant colors and look that gives a fresh feel for this film.

And on HD, the film looks and sounds incredible. There are a good number of interactive special features and with the Blu-ray coming with the DVD and a digital copy of the film, that's another plus as well.

It's important to note that "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" is not just visual and audio eye candy, the film features a solid performance by the voice talent and most of all, a solid screenplay that remains faithful to the popular book. A lot of humor (safe for children) and for the most part, a fantastic family film that both children and adults will enjoy.

This is possibly the best animated film not made by Disney/Pixar and if anything, Sony Pictures Animation did a wonderful job and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what film they will be animating next because what they did for "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" looks magnificent.

Overall, this is a solid Blu-ray release that is just worth having in your collection and a release that is great for the entire family. Highly recommended!

NOTE: It was announced by Sony during CES that in conjunction with the release of their 3D hardware, they will be releasing "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" in 3D Blu-ray later in 2010. - Family Movie - Blu-ray - Blu-ray 3d - Animation'

Shower Gel - body, dove

I have sensitive skin that is prone to getting dry, particularly during the winter months and dry weather. I thought I would give this new line a try and it was alright. The scent is just right as it is not overpowering but definitely detectable, although I can understand some people being turned off by it.

The primary moisturizing ingredient in this body wash is the same as in many others - petrolatum. Those saying that this body wash does not moisturize enough - I would recommend letting the lather set on your body for at least a minute or two. Petrolatum is not an instantaneous moisturizer and needs some time to settle on the skin to do its job. Try aiming the water off of you as you lather and let it set for a couple of minutes. Even with this technique, however, this body wash just isn't as moisturizing as it says, especially in comparison to Dove 'Deep Moisture'.

Overall - I liked this body wash. I'm rather picky with my personal hygiene products and Dove For Men passes with an average score. Dove Men and Care Body and Face Wash, Extra Fresh, 18 Ounce (Pack of 3)

Normally I use Irish Spring soap but noticed recently that it has been drying my skin out during the winter months. The Dove Men Body and Face Wash works great so far, cleans especially good as a face wash. I like that its a combination body and face wash, for a guy its very convenient not having to use multiple products. I tried two of the three scents. The Clean Comfort has a clean and cool scent to it (Coolwater'ish). The Extra Fresh has a fresh lemon type of scent to it. I like both, clean out of the shower smell but not overpowering like the usual cheap drugstore stuff. Best face cleanser Ive used and will continue using, highly recommended. - Dove - For Men - Bath - Body'

I purhcased this because it was brand new. The charging cradle looks and feels just like original. However, the manufacturing specs are not quite right though. The clips to hold the watch in place are about 1mm off. This does sound like much, but it prevents the watch from locking in place. This cradle requires a rubber band or other fastener to hold down the watch in cradle so it will charge. Don't buy this. You are better off buying a used one so you know it works.

works just fine. I lost my other base but had the usb cable. I've tested with other standard usb cables and it works also. I'm guessing that's not the manufacture recommendation but haven't seen any difference. Kind of expensive but way cheaper than buying a new watch.

Got this after needing a secondary one for a different location. It seems to work fine and have had no issues with it so far. It does not come with the USB cable - so if you lost that you will need to purchase that seperately. Other than that it works as described.

I purchased this extra charging cradle so that I could have one at both ends of my bicycle commute. Works as advertised as one would expect from such a simple device. Seems a bit pricey. Couldn't find a third-party version. Must be a Garmin licensing thing. - Forerunner - Garmin 305 - Garmin - Cycling'
