Sticky Notes - self-stick notes
Can't beat the original post-it! Quite the savings on Amazon than from Staples. It's nice to get such a big package so I don't have to worry about stocking up for some time. I'm glad I found them here! Post-it Original Notes, 3 x 3 Inches, Canary Yellow, 100-Sheet Pads (12 Pads per Pack) (654)
As with other 'Post It' brand products they actually stick until you take them off, not just for the first couple of minutes. The size works well for flash cards for my son as well as for longer notes.
I don't know what we ever did without them. I've found so many uses for these from posting notes on doors, to TVs, to messages in the kitchen to office uses to temporary bookmarks, etc. I have a book of these in almost every room. And the price shown here is a great deal.
These Post-It notes work as advertised and are just the right size for all my stickable note needs. They adhere very nicely and can be easily removed without a trace of gumminess left on the paper. It's clear 3-M took the time to engineer these little marvels with precision and pride.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because, while the Amazon price was better than any local big box office supply store, the price could have been lower. Outside of that, great purchase :)
First, I'll assume you know what post-its are all about. In the event you don't, you can read the other review and get a very good idea. I shopped around to get the best price and ended up at Amazon. Here they are about $1.02 per pad. The super saver shipping option is included (if your purchase is $25 or more) as well. They also arrived in two days. What more could you ask for?
My life runs on Post-It Notes. The yellow kind. Just like these. My office is littered with Post-It Notes. Even in the bathroom I keep a supply for marking pages in magazines I'm reading. And right next to the bed for those first-thing-in-the-morning notes to myself when I think of something I have to do that day. My computer mouse has to fight its way through the Post-It Notes littering my desk.
Post-It Notes are indispensable.
If you've ever tried the "other" brands of self-adhesive notes, maybe you will agree with me: For the small amount of cost savings, they're just not worth it. I'm talking about the generic brands...Staples, Brand X, etc. They just don't make it. They don't stick for the long haul. They curl too much.
I once went for two years trying to fool myself that these "other notes" were just as good...that it was my imagination telling me there were problems. But finally I admitted the truth. Only the real "Post-It" gets it right.
Good as they are though, I can't quite give a 5-Star rating...have to go with only 4 Stars: Why?
First, because I'd like the yellow color to be a bit more saturated yellow.
Second, because there's no user guide. I've searched online for Post-It tutorials and can't find any...it would be nice if the manufacturer supplied a printed user guide, or even a downloadable PDF file.
I keep thinking I"m missing something...ha ha ha. - Self-stick Notes'

Wireless Speakers
I owned a couple of the LG BD570 models but wanted to add the surround sound without having to buy a seperate tuner. This was a very nice update over the 570 model, the sound is actually quite good on both movies, and music. There were some reviews talking about music sounding hollow, but for me it really sounds great. The wifi works nicely for both streaming and home networking. The wireless rear speakers made my life so much easier without having to run wires across my living room. The new LG Smart TV is great, though I recognize some folks may not agree since it seems to be in it's infant stages. But, what they have works wonderfully. I also love the integration with my iPhone. Since I am stationed in Japan, finding good TV is hard to do, but Smart TV fits my needs with the help of a VPN. Hulu is scheduled to be available on it in another month or two which will only add to the appeal.
I highly recommend this unit. It's a great all in one, 3D BD, Home Theater, Radio, Media Player, Internet TV. LG LHB976 1100W 3D Blu-ray Home Theater System with Smart TV and Integrated Wi-Fi
First of all don't expect the LG LHB976 to blow you away with mind blowing surround sound. It's good enough for you to enjoy the sound effects of 5.1 movies and TV. But your room won't shake, rattle and roll. The passive sub-woofer can't deliver the booming effects you'll get from a powered sub. And that also limits this from being a great music system. I do really like the Integrated Wi-Fi and Smart TV aspects of this however. And the wireless rear speakers are just what I needed. Please be aware the rear speakers are actually wired to the Wi-Fi transmitter(Which works great by the way}. So you do need an electrical outlet, and you'll have wires running from the transmitter. The Smart TV is a bit complicated in the initial navigation, but with a little trial and error you'll figure it out. For an inexpensive surround system I think it's well worth the money. If you have a small enough room, and can spend a bit more, I would suggest the Polk Audio SoundBar 50. I couldn't keep mine because the room was to big for the surround effects to work. But I'm telling you with a powered sub, that thing did blow me away.
If you don't care about Smart TV, the LHB976 is a good system and essentially the same as the LHB975, with a few improvements:
1. Wired subwoofer. This eradicates the main criticism of the LHB975 (wireless connection to subwoofer would fail).
2. 3d blu-ray.
3. Updated and faster interface (especially for Netflix).
So why only two stars? Because I hate being misled. The LHB976 is nothing like LG's Smart TV, despite the advertising.
DISCLAIMER: I originally had the LHB975 and the subwoofer failed (a common problem). After waiting weeks for a replacement part and being told I would be charged $70, despite falling within the warranty period, LG changed their mind and offered to refund my system. Impressed by this move, I purchased the LHB 976 to replace the old system. Despite my doubts about buying another LG system, I was excited by the descriptions on LG's website of the "revolutionary" Smart TV and fantastic new remote.
LG's website claims that when you buy the LHB 976, "you get ... an LG Smart TV experience, next generation in entertainment organized within a simple interface." That's a joke. There is nothing in this system that's at all "revolutionary" (LG's language). You don't get anything like the Smart TV features available with the ST600 or competitor systems. For example:
1. No Magic Motion Remote Control. In fact, I'm not even sure that it would work with the system if purchased independently.
2. No Hulu Plus. This makes no sense to me. Samsung, Sony, Google TV, and even LG's other "Smart TV" devices have Hulu Plus... just not its Blu Ray players or home theater systems. LG should be honest about this, especially for people hoping to use Hulu to replace Cable.
3. Inferior interface. No website viewing. No antenna/cable input. Apps can't be viewed simultaneously with live TV. The few "customizable apps" are a joke. Amazon, Vudu, Netflix, etc. are great -- but those have been available on Netcast for years in essentially the same format.
In sum, it's absurd to advertise this system as "Smart TV" with a "next generation" of content when it provides less than what Roku, Samsung, Sony, Google TV, Apple TV, and a Windows Media/Boxee setup has been providing for some time now. On the other hand, if you only care about the 3d blu-ray system with decent sound quality for the price, this is fine (I don't have 3d tv so I can't review the quality of the 3d, but the sound is the same as the LHB 975 as far as I can tell).
If there's any justice, LG should ship out the ST600 to customers buying the LHB 976 -- especially those who stick with the LG brand out of (misguided?) loyalty. Otherwise, what's the point of this system instead of a competitor's?
***UPDATE***
LG recently emailed me saying the Hulu launch is "expected at the end of August," but that date is subject to change.
Rather than wait, I ordered a Roku and am extremely happy with it (it's very cheap for what it does). If you don't have a 3d TV you plan on using a lot, I would recommend getting a separate sound system, a (cheaper) regular blu-ray, and Roku. That makes it easy to upgrade the blu-ray separately as prices go down and 3d movies become more common, but in the meantime you get all the benefits Roku has to offer.
***UPDATE***
Hulu Plus is finally available. It has the same interface as Roku. This is a significant improvement and means that the LG system can now reasonably call itself "Smart TV," though I still think it's just a marketing gimmick (and it's nothing like what LG advertises as its Smart TV -- no special remote, no special live TV functions, etc.).'

Toddler Camera - toddler camera, kids camera
The reviews of kiddie cameras are mixed, so I finally bought this for my just turned 4 year old daughter (for her birthday last week) with some trepidation. We've now had it for over 1 week, and its been a huge hit! I've never seen her take a toy with her everywhere and use it so often. So just from that perspective, its been a big success.
It takes small pictures (.3 of a megapixel), and takes a few secs to focus on an image (during which camera needs to be held still, a bit of a challenge for a toddler, but good discipline), but if you keep these 2 things in mind, the pictures aren't bad (certainly not as horrible as some reviewers imply). When I take pictures, and hold the unit still (and let the auto focus focus on the subject, the pictures are decent - albeit not great by any stretch). The flash is useless in almost all conditions (except possibly night), but you can easily turn it off (by pressing the delete picture button). Yes it has no zoom, but my daughter likes to experiment by moving closer and farther away. Yes the eye pieces can lead one to cut off the subjects head, but the LCD display is accurate, and I have taught my daughter to use this to frame pictures. She caught on quickly.
We added a 256 MB SD card, and she's been happily clicking away ever since. She's figured out how to delete and put the various supplied graphics (frames and funny facial features) over her real life subjects. I haven't yet shown her the video or games or other editing features.
One of the best features of this camera is the ability to hook it into the tv - no computer connection needed for her. She quite likes to see her pictures on the big screen. On my 62" tv, the pixelation is pretty awful, but I hope on smaller lcds it would be more acceptable.
In the long run, we will give her a better camera that takes better pictures (likely one of our old ones), but for now this is teaching her about photography, and its tough and kid friendly. Just don't expect amazing photos (she doesn't, so why should we?), and this more than delivers the goods for a 2-5 year old in my view.
While clearly not bullet proof, so far I've been impressed with the build quality and thoughtfulness of teh design - hardly the piece of junk that some others have labeled this toy. Good luck. Vtech Kidizoom Plus Digital Camera - Pink
I have to admit that I was not very familiar with the Vtech brand prior to this purchase and was a little skeptical. Everyone I had asked advice from in regards to a digital camera for my 4 year old told us to get the Fisher Price camera. Well...we followed their advice and were VERY disappointed with the Fisher Price camera. For lack of a better word, it was TERRIBLE to say the least. Picture was impossible to make out and it was just boring.I returned it the day after the party and picked up the Vtech version. THIS CAMERA ROCKS!!!! The picture is clear, there's a flash, you use as a video camera, you can even add some stamps to the photos like a pirate hat and eye patch. Our daughter is having a blast with this camera. Oh yeah...there's even 3 games in it!
This was a great purchase!!
My kids have had these for about a year and they still love them. The feature they love the most is the ability to record their voices for a picture. For example, they will take a pic of our dog and record themselves barking. They love the video function as well. Great camera and even though the resolution is not perfect, they love everything about them.
This is the best kids camera on the market. You get so much for the price. You can take photos and put crazy special effects on them. My kids love doing that. You can also take video and photos with voice. My 4 year old daughter got the fisher price camera and it was awful! The display was tiny and you couldn't see the photos you took. It didn't have any special effects, video capability, or games. We returned the fisher price model and got this camera and love love love it! I had to buy another one for my 7 year old son because he was fighting over the camera. I got it in a different color so they could tell them apart. I even find myself playing with it. Yes the quality is not super but you can put a memory card in and take 2 megapixel photos which is great for a kids camera.
My 6-year old granddaughter, who searches for & plays educational games on PBS websites, loves this camera. She finds it easy to download, using MacOSX, her photos and movies (often noisy from internal mechanical movement). The ratings are hers. The ratings might have been much lower had I not taken the steps below.
VTech, in my opinion, should have foreseen the consequences of selling a camera without an SD card or clock. I'm adamant about archiving her movies (with her voice describing what she is photographing). Here two major but easily fixed problems appear, one undocumented.
1. Her most precious photos were those first taken, using the 16 MB of volatile memory. However, the four AA batteries don't last long: had they run out, she would have only moments to replace them with a small Phillips screwdriver or lose them all, forever. This, in my experience, can be traumatic, driving even adults away from technology.
The solution is to buy and install in a battery compartment a tiny SD memory card. A 2GB one is very inexpensive and allows hordes of photos & movies. Apple & Amazon sell this one:
Crucial 2 GB SD Memory Card
After installing it, you may need to use the camera to move volatile photos & movies to the permanent SD card.
2. Let's examine this statement: 'And don't despair if you're a Mac user. As long as you have Mac OS X 10.0 or above, you can still use the camera in mass storage mode.' What is mass storage mode? Your adult digital camera uses USB PTP, Picture Transfer Protocol, which stores dates, times, and exposure data in the EXIF portion of the JPEG file. However, VTech didn't provide a simple quartz clock: no dates.
So, 'native support' of USB for a mass storage device means only that information all files have in common: a file. No date, no time, no EXIF. The date is the most important. One reviewer thought, as I, MacOSX would write a correct creation date if all photos are moved from the camera at the end of the day: it does not.
A Unix programmer would write a script using 'touch', but I chose the inexpensive shareware program 'File Juicer'.
[...]
Dropping the disk image onto its icon creates folders with tiny photo icons on the pictures and dates on both photos & movies. These can be moved into place.
One must then manually erase photos & movies from the camera's SD card, for the files are not recognized as photos by your Mac, and neither Image Capture nor iPhoto will automatically move them to your hard disk.
3. Traditionally, one connects a USB cable with the device (camera) turned off, then turns on the device. The device activates the driver and a white disk drive icon appears on the Desktop for the volatile memory (VTech 733) and for the SD card (VTech 744). Almost. First, however,
(a) I copied all photos & movies from the volatile to card memory using the camera. (They would otherwise be lost.)
(b) VTech's driver does not speak very loudly to MacOSX's native one: I must plug and unplug the USB cable at the computer while the camera is on, then wait for the icons to appear. this is a common kludge for badly-written drivers. (Once the card's virtual disk mounted, I renamed it to my granddaughter's first name.)
In conclusion, an extra $10 will be needed for an SD Card and, probably, $15 for Mac users interested in archiving their child's first photos. Almost all of the actions I suggest here, I feel, are likely important to your child. - Vtech - Kids Camera - Toddler Camera - Digital Camera For Kids'

Yoga Accessories
UPDATE (11/10/10): Still thrilled to report I couldn't be happier. The mat has held up better than the manduka mat I owned, and has proven easier to clean and a lot lighter to carry. After 14 months still no sign of wear and it just seems to get better with use.
The company was actually nice enough to send me their rosin for doing hot or more intense practices where I really sweat........it does help with slipping issues. I found putting a little on my mat pre-workout seems to help substantially. In the past I had bought yogi toes and towels, which while they worked, were pretty expensive. So for now I am hooked on rosin.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I recently decided it was time to upgrade my yoga mat to something a bit more high quality and came across this one. So far I have been very impressed. The quality of the mat is really remarkable for the price point and i really love what a great job they have done with this. You can tell this was developed by people who actually do practice yoga.
PROS
1) The knee pain i used to get on my old (thin) mat is gone. I have used this on a variety of different surfaces (including the hard floors at the local studio) and no issues.
2) The rubbery smell that I also had to deal with on my old mat is now gone. I followed Aurorae's recommendations and put a little lemon on.
3) Been using for a few months now and no durability/wear issues.
4) No staining of clothes. My last mat left a slight residue that would be seen on lightly colored clothing.
5) Price - $80 for a Manduka mat??? No way. This is better quality for a fraction of the price.
CONS
None but will update if I find anything.
I would recommend this one to any yoga enthusiast. Great product and well worth the money at this price point. Aurorae Yoga Mats - Ultra Thick, Extra Long with Focal point Icon and Illuminating Colors. SGS approved Free from Phthalates and Latex. All products guaranteed. Infinity
I have had my Aurorae mat for nearly eight months and still consider it one of the best mats out there. As a yoga teacher, I've tried many different mats ranging in price from $50 to $100 and the Aurorae mat beats them all. It's as long and wide as the 'premium' mats that are twice the price, but it's super lightweight so it's easy to carry around. The thickness is perfect: everyone who has tried my Aurorae mat comments on how nice it feels. It's thick without being too firm or two soft.
I've also been impressed with the durability of my Aurorae mat- I practice daily at home, and in the studio at least 3-4 times a week. I also use my mat outside on grass, concrete and flagstones. Obviously it's been put through a lot, but it's still in excellent condition. I have washed it once a month according to the manufacturer's directions and aside from a slight discoloration where my hands and feet are positioned in down dog, it still looks brand new.
Since the Aurorae mat is phthalate-free, it didn't stink of plastic when it arrived. I only had to unroll it and let it sit out for a couple of hours and I was able to use it that night. It also didn't smell like rubber as some of the other premium mats do. It's not only scent-free, it doesn't seem to hold odors (which is important if you sweat a lot!) There's nothing worse than being in child's pose and holding your breath because your nose is so close to a plastic-y/sweaty-smelly/rubber-stinking mat.
The only drawback I've found for my mat is that it isn't very 'sticky' when I sweat, but I have yet to find a truly sticky mat anywhere. In my experience, if you practice hot yoga or sweat a lot, no mat is going to be sticky enough without a towel over the top (I use a microfiber towel specifically made for yoga). I have the roisin bag also sold by Aurorae and that helps a lot, but when the studio is 100F+, I need a towel to help soak up the sweat and allow my hands some traction in down dog.
On the other hand, if I practice in an unheated area the mat works fine. It's not 'sticky' so much as the top of the mat allows my hands to sink in a bit and gain some traction. That's nicer than the last 'sticky' mat I tried which was so sticky that I couldn't keep hair and lint from gathering all over the top. Gross!
Overall, I've been so pleased with my Aurorae mat that I'm considering buying another one just so I can keep one at the studio and one at home. I also recommend this mat to all my students and every one who has bought an Aurorae mat has been just as pleased as I am. I don't think you can find a better mat, especially for the price!
My last yoga mat became family property. My daughter used it for her gymnastics practice, my son used it for his karate warm-ups and if I was lucky enough to find it, I got to use it for myself. Well, they can have my old mat & I'm hiding my new Aurorae mat. It's great for my mat Pilates, no more feeling like I'm rolling up on cement with my old flimsy mat. It's much more comfortable on the back and knees. The longer length is helpful too especially on days when I attend yoga in the park on a cement slab by the lake. What a great buy for the price!
I love this yoga mat! I'm super-sensitive to strong smells, and so I wanted to find one that didn't have that headache-inducing rubber smell to it. I got this one because of the reviews indicating that it was smell-less, and the reviews were certainly true. It's much longer than other yoga mats, which was a pleasant surprise. I can do some of my poses with my toddler accompanying me on the same mat! Speaking of my toddler, it's so cushy that she sometimes likes to take a nap on it. She has abused it in every way possible -- spilling food on it (an old toothbrush works wonders for getting in the crevices), grinding chair legs into it (it didn't tear!), and playing on it with her toys. At first I cringed every time she did something to it, but this mat is basically indestructible. Highly recommend.'

Power Drill - drill, dewalt
I've never reviewed a product here before but I felt I really had to this time.
Long story made short- I am a cabinet maker and when I received my 18v DeWalt from Amazon (after waiting patiently for almost three weeks) it arrived with a wobble in the chuck. I don't mean I took a dial indicator to it to make sure it was perfect, I mean it was easily visible to the naked eye. If I had to drill a 1/16th hole in something this would not do an accurate job. So, I emailed Amazon and they kindly sent me a replacement drill which also arrived with a very wobbly chuck. Two in a row, I couldn't believe it. I called the DeWalt 800 number and they said to take the drill to my local service center. When I did they took one look at it and said "oh yeah, that's not right, we'll put a new spindle in for you,". Two more weeks (with no drill) later I sent my intern to pick up the drill. It came back with a new chuck and a slightly different wobble. I now regret buying something online that I would want to hold in my hand and examine first. Sure, this drill would work fine for shooting drywall screws in but I need something better. For $200 I want a drill that's nearly perfect. 200 bucks is alot of money.
So, what happened to DeWalt? Have they cut costs to meet higher demand? I bought a 14.4v cordless DeWalt right out of college and it worked great for years until it was stolen. In a pinch I bought a 14.4v Ryobi which worked well for a year but eventually the batteries stopped holding a good charge. When that happened I thought well, it's time to buy another DeWalt, but now I wish I hadn't. DEWALT DC759KA 18-Volt NiCad 1/2-Inch Cordless Drill/Driver Kit
I recently purchased this drill despite the warnings I have read here related to chuck run out. After charging the battery and firing the drill up for the first time, I was disappointed to find that the chuck was dooing the hula! There are 2 key characteristics for a power drill, the first is that it is powered, the second is that it rotates concentrically around its central axis. Unfortunately this drill did not meet these basic requirements. I sent it back in exchange for the XRP model. The XRP had worse run out than the first!! I used an XRP model for years in the maintenance shop and it was a tough and bullet proof accurate drill. The new drills are not anything close to the ones manufactured 5 years ago. I am not sure why Dewalt has sided in favor of poor quality. If they still cared about quality, drills like these would not have made it out of the factory. The run out that I experienced would have been caught on a very basic visual test.
Don't waste your time with a Dewalt drill unless you don't care about run out.
I wrote Dewalt's customer service department complaining about the problem. Apparently Dewalt has sent its customer service off shore as well as its manufacturing. The response letter for letter is below.
Hello, and thanks for using DEWALT's on-line support.
Sorry to hear of your problems with chuck run-out. Our specs call for no more then 15,000 one inch from end of chuck. If third unit has same problem contact me via this email. Have you tried to drill holes of drive screws with these units? If so what happen?
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you. If your question remains unresolved or if you require additional information please update this incident.
Sincerely,
John Smith
What a Joke!! Again, don't waste your time or money on a Dewlat Drill.
I have had this drill for about six months and am very happy with it. I am a homeowner so I can't speak as to how this drill would function during all day use. For projects around my house it has plenty of power although, like every other cordless tool I have used, it needs a little more time drilling/driving through hard wood. If I want to drill through something thick and tough, I used a beefier corded drill. So far, I have not noticed any of the battery life problems discussed by other reviewers.I picked up a set of the Dewalt hex shank bits and have not noticed any slippage. The only time I have had a complaint with the drill was while using a hole saw to install locksets in two doors. Of the four holes, the bit slipped out of the chuck two times. Once I reinserted the hole saw it went right on through the door. I don't know if I didn't get the chuck tight enough or if the chuck just prefers the hex shank bits. All in all a great drill. I can't imagine ever installing curtain rods, assembling bookcases, etc. with a corded drill and/or screwdriver again!
I purchased this drill as part of a drill/saw combo at Home Depot for $199 so go there for a better deal. I bought this drill to compliment the 18V Dewalt pistol handle drill I already have. I know what your thinking, why do I need two drills? Have you every tried to drill/drive in between stud cavities with a pistol grip?? Pain in the bottom to do, so when I have that type of work to do I just grab this one, now onto my review.Plenty of power for anything you may want to do, drives screws like a champ, drills through 4x4 PT with 1 1/2" spade bit with no problems. A great drill at a great price. Since I own their more expensive model I will point out the differences. No hammer action, only 2 speed(don't need the third speed), 2 piece chuck versus the 1 piece, and the handle doesn't have those nice rubber inserts. Doesn't handle small bits that well due to the chuck design, and the trigger sticks a little when trying to slowly advance it.One piece of advice, before you even use the drill for the first time grab some athletic tape(Walmart sells black athletic tape so it doesn't look retarded) and wrap it a couple of time around the handle. That improves the grip 100%, trust me.Even though I did bash some things this is still a awesome drill. - 18v - Drill - Tools - Dewalt'

Construction Staplers - construction staplers, stapler
I bought this stapler because my long-suffering wife refused to act like a clamp anymore, so I had to hold up sheets of sheathing or paneling with an elbow and a knee while trying to drive nails. It got old really fast! This PC stapler is a marriage saver! The owner's manual is well written, and I was using the stapler five minutes out of the box. I easily quadrupled my output, and was able to sheath and side my shop (16x16') solo in a single day. Haven't had a jam yet, though they look fairly simple to clear. Definitely worth the money! Porter-Cable MS200 1-Inch to 2-Inch 16-Gauge 7/16-Inch Medium Crown Stapler
In the first few months of MS200 stapler ownership, it was used to drive 17,000 2" staples. Not a single jam. (So, I can't comment on jam fixes, but it is easy to remove the nosepiece, without tools.) This nailer has a slight "recoil". If it isn't pushed into the work AND the wood is fairly hard, the staple won't go in all the way. This is because part of the drive force is spent pushing the tool away from the staple. The same thing would probably happen with any large stapler. For the most part, the staple head is about flush with the surface, and of course, power is adjustable via the regulator.
Overall, the productivity gained by using this powerhouse is incredible. My speed was about 1 staple per second, but I took my time. Although one hand control is workable, I used both hands most of the time, in order to ensure the staple was fully driven home.
I also bought the 7/16" x 2" staples from Amazon, and they stay in. In fact, be sure you're driving staples where you won't change your mind. In the cases where a staple had to be removed, I couldn't pull them out. Wound up cutting the tops off. Almost like driving a double nail with each trigger pull. That's holding power.
The carrying case is one of those molded types, with two plastic clasps. Seems fine. Fits the tool perfectly, and provides great protection - with a small bit of staple & oil storage.
I bought this Porter Cable Stapler for vinyl siding installation,I read all the reviews I have found and found them to be very informative,so thanks to all of you.My opinion of this inexpensive air tool made by one the best tool manufacturers ever is awesome and precise, light and time saving.I should of bought one of these 15 years ago but just never thought it would work. Also I feel it is very important to get the noise piece for vinyl siding part number 60040 I believe....Good Luck
I needed to install a sub-floor. I went as fast as could and the stapler did a great job with no jams. It is easy to run out of staples and not know it. It needs something besides just looking thru a little hole at the staples. Uses little air, my pancake compressor kept up. I did have a hard time setting the depth of the staples. The depth varies a LOT with out touching the dial and I had to go back and pound down about 15% of the staples.
Excellent product, lightweight yet sturdy enough for the most demanding projects. Have used this product on fence and deck projects without any problems. Easy to load and operate, if a jam happens, very easy to clear and return to work. Uses a variety of staple lengths.
Unit comes with storage case. Easy to load and shoots common staple sizes. We use 2 of these guns on a regular basis and have had no problems other then the occisioanl vapor lock which is easily fixed by removing air line momentarily. If you want a decent gun for an affordable price the Porter Cable is a good one.
I purchased the PC stapler and siding attachment from Amazon. I'm very pleased with both purchases. So far I've used the stapler for OSB sheathing, 3/4" Ply shelving, and vinyl siding. I've had one jam which I was able to easily clear and normally use single shot mode. I purchased coated staples and the material tears apart before the staples move. As another rater stated, the siding attachment does take a little training to use properly but does work well.
Could not be happier with this stapler. It's easy on air, have only used appox. 4000 staples, but never had 1 jam. Even when the staple hit screwheads inside the wood it just mashed the staple on out and did not jam. The toolless depth adj. and air ex. direction is great and never had to try the toolless unjamming deal. The ease ( and toolless also) change from single trigger pull to bump staple'n is great. Very solid well build tool. And cheapest stapler that will handle 2 inch staples. With everything figured in I dont see how you can get a better 1 to 2 inch stapler or one that is cheaper. - Construction Staplers - Stapler'

Plastic Folder - plastic folder
My kids always have to have very specific types and colors of folders. They are difficult to find even before school starts when supplies are plentiful and are near impossible to get mid-year. Here I got the configuration I needed (pockets and brads) in a durable poly and was able to get the color she was missing - red. Even though they're a little pricey I think it's still cheaper than driving to 6 different stores to try to find them locally. Five Star Advance Stay-Put Folder, Green (72111)
I have always used paper/cardboard folders up until I found these, well I used other cheap plastic folders. All in all my every folder last about a week til I got these, these last me a year through highschool, I never cleaned them out, and didn't even rid get destroyed nothing to me it is a miracle folder.
I love these types of folders! Instead of carrying around a bulky 3 ring binder, I just use one of these instead. Strong and durable! They last for a couple years too without breaking. I just bought a purple one to replace the one I've been using for about two years.
so much better than using the folders that are made of paper or cardboard and definitely know that this folder will last for years. if it breaks or gets stretched out i would totally but another one of these folders - Plastic Folder'

Replacement Battery - hp, power adaptor
This charger is really cheap and works with my DV4 series laptop. It charges the battery and does everything a normal charger should do for a fraction of the price compared to the chargers available at retail stores. It also does have a light on it to tell you if it is on. However, it does have some major drawbacks. One, the cord is a bit shorter than the original. Not a big deal, but it is annoying sometimes. Two, when I plug this charger into my laptop, I can hear a high pitched noise emanating from my computer; this is certainly not the case with my other original HP charger. When I plug any of my monitors into my laptop with the new charger in, the screen becomes shaky and unstable, like it is receiving interference. When I use my regular HP charger, the problem goes away. Thus, this leads me to believe that there is a problem with the way the chargers are manufactured.
Even though the price was really good, it makes me hesitant to use this charger because I am afraid that it might destroy my laptop in the long run. I would say this is a good charger to use only when no other options are available. If I knew this information when I bought the charger, I wouldn't have bought it. New Replacement AC Adapter Laptop Charger for HP Pavilion DV4 DV5 Series; HP G50 G60 Series
I was skeptical with this being $15 cheaper than others but it works fine. I got a second one for work. Now I have one for work and home offices that I don't have to unplug. I keep the original in my laptop case for the road.
Only thing to be aware of is the cord is slightly shorter than original. It is not too short by any means but it is shorter by a foot or so. So if you need this for a lengthy reach then make sure you get an extension cord or buy something else.
Hope this helps!
Perfect condition, good packaging.
Not a whole lot to say, the charger came new.. you can't beat that for this price.
I prefer it to my original adapter as the one MoonTech shipped me had an LED display for when the charger was plugged in..
Thank you, good buy if you need a replacement.
I got this adapter as a replacement for my sons laptop 3 months ago. A few days ago it started making noise and overheated and melted! Good thing we were home, it would have burned the house down. This is a piece of junk. STAY AWAY!
THIS ADAPTER CAUSED MY LAPTOP TO SHORT CIRCUIT AND CATCH FIRE!
Just because an adapter is listed to be compatible with your laptop DOES NOT MEAN IT IS! I'm not an expert and cannot properly explain it, but a technologically capable friend of mine told me that the voltage of this adapter wasn't the same as my old adapter, and the difference caused my computer to short circuit and go up in smoke. And because this happened with a replacement adapter and not the original given to me by HP, my warranty doesn't mean a damn thing. So please check to make sure the voltage is the same, I'd hate for someone to go through what I just went through!
GO WITH THE SURE THING! I really wish I would have spent the money on one approved by HP! I TRIED TO SAVE FORTY BUCKS AND NOW I HAVE TO COME UP WITH 700 FOR A NEW COMPUTER! I AM SO FULL OF RAGE.
What I paid for, and expected, was a charger that would perform up to industry standard and last AT LEAST six months. That didn't happen.
The product is horrible. Charged the laptop just fine(although it did overheat) for the first two weeks, developed a short in the next week, stopped charging completely within a month. Even the housing around the innards was poor, the cords couldn't stand up to BASIC wear and tear. Do yourself a favor, and just spring for the expensive HP replacement.
i bought this charger amazed at the price and when i received it, it worked great for around the first month but then it stopped fully charging my laptop and now doesnt even work!! then i contacted the seller and they havent answered me so i dont know what to do because i have a 12 month warrenty and i cant use it because the seller will not contact me back!!!! i am sooooo dissappointed with this product and strongly suggest you DO NOT BUY IT!!
I purchased this product because it was cheap and I didn't do much research on AC adapters. Next time, I will be more conscious about what I purchase. Not only was I shocked every time I plugged in the cord, the cord would generate an excessive amount of heat. After only a few uses, my computer started running slower, and now over-heats. Upon further inspection by an expert, I found out the plug was not properly grounded (despite having a 3rd prong), and the amperage it was outputting was much higher than it claimed... thereby melting my computer. Awesome right?
Anyway, I have since returned this cord, and have purchased a much better one. In my opinion this AC adapter is a waste of time and money. For the safety of your outlets and your computer buy something else.
I ordered this replacement charger in October and it worked fine until last week. The charger began getting very hot and eventually stopped working. I actually watched it as it sizzled and made a spark. Now it doesn't work at all. I'm just thankful that it didn't harm my laptop or worse, burn my house down.
The price is low for this charger, but the risk is not worth it. - Hp - Laptop - Power Adaptor - Power Adapter'
