Demolition Hammer - bosch, rotary hammer

Like most Hitachi tools , this is very well engineered. It stands up to all kinds of abuse. Mine ran for years drilling all sizes of holes in old hard concrete. I also used it for chipping which is hard on roto hammers. They don't have a lot of power for breaking concrete as this is not their intended primary use. So when you do use them for breaking , they have to run a lot longer than a demolition hammer would. It has pretty good power for drilling though. I bought mine used and had it for five years before replacing it recently. I went to SDS max which is currently replacing spline drive in the large rotary hammer market. It is a tighter mechanism which transfers more of the hammering power to the bit , resulting in faster drilling performance. If you have a lot of spline bits , this would be a good tool to buy. If you are starting from scratch , I would recommend the SDS max hammers from Hilti , Bosch or milwaukee Hitachi DH38YE 1 1/2-Inch Spline Rotary Hammer

after a year of use and abuse my hitachi is still going strong.it drills fast and easy and in hammer mode drives ground rods and does light demolition effortlessly.i prefer the spline shank drills and accesories over the little sds shank bits but i do use an adaptor for the slightly cheaper sds or taper shanks in the smaller sizes.industrial machinery installation is tuff on tools but the hitachi DH38YE not only came through with flying colors but outlasted a much more expensive brand.

I bought mine a few months ago, and I love it. I use it for breaking up granite boulders by drilling a line of holes and splitting the rock with stonemasons' 'feathers and pins'. The thing weighs quite a bit so it's not the best for small holes in masonry walls. It seems to work best when held vertically or close to it. ... I've not had any problems with it, and it does as good a job as my friend's Hilti which cost him more than twice as much. The spline-shaft bits aren't always easy to find. My local Home Depot has a few, but mail-ordering is usually necessary to find a specific size. I haven't tried to use it as a jack-hammer yet, so I cannot confirm or refute toolpig's evaluation of when it's used as such. In any case, I think I got good value on this tool.

I bought this rotary hammer for drilling in grout holes for rebar and anchor bolts and some other misc. holes in concrete. It is a very good tool for someone who has a lot of varied tasks but dosen't work the tool everyday. The clutch is a wrist saver, the bits are harder to find than SDS Max and the price is right. But the tool went down in a matter of hours, and given Hitachi's impossible to locate parts, I'm shopping for a SDS Max Hilti or Bosch. No tool is a good deal if it shuts your job down.

This is the second Hitachi I have purchased in five years. The first one was stolen. I use this product in my construction business on a regular basis. I use up to a 5" core bit on 10" concrete walls with ease. I highly recommend this rotary hammer for its performance and price. - Jack Hammer - Sds - Bosch - Rotary Hammer'

Landscape Photography - landscape photography, frye

Ansel Adams, Edward Weston and Eliot Porter were amongst the greatest landscape photographers of the twentieth century. Unlike many of today's photographers, they used film. The book "In the Footsteps of Ansel Adams and the Great Masters: Digital Landscape Photography" tries to translate their techniques into the language of modern digital photography.

The first part of the book, called "Technical Foundations" deals with the basic techniques of digital photography with emphasis on how those techniques might be applied to landscape photography. Experienced users may find little new here, although the explanation of the zone system may introduce people who have mastered the histogram to another method of calculating exposure. At the same time, the explanations of the fundamentals may prove much too pithy for beginners. Perhaps the section will most help those already familiar with the basics to understand how to apply these techniques like the masters.

The second part of the book, entitled "Light, Composition and the Art of Seeing" evokes the masters, mostly by quoting their words. The images presented are primarily those of Frye, but those familiar with the masters will recognize that much of his work is clearly derived from their style, except for being captured digitally and usually in color. Although this aspect of photography is the most amorphous to describe in writing, Frye does a good job, and his lovely pictures, taken mostly in Yosemite and other favorite locations of Adams, are well worth studying.

The final part deals with "The Digital Darkroom: Editing, Processing and Printing" and it is here that Frye shows how I imagine the masters would use modern image processing software and hardware rather than the chemical darkroom. Although quite extensive, it is certainly not a Photoshop primer. Instead those who already know how to use such software will see examples of how Frye uses it to emulate the style of the masters. Since most Photoshop manuals do not show many examples of actual applications, this can be quite useful.

My only complaint with the book is that I would have liked a few more photographs by the masters included, with some deeper analysis of the images to reveal the techniques they used to fulfill their vision. There is still plenty of room for the photographer to view and analyze their works in other books.

No photographers should expect (or fear) that after reading this book they will take pictures like the masters. Instead, they should expect that some of the techniques, if adopted, will be incorporated into their own style and add to the quality of their images. Digital Landscape Photography: In the Footsteps of Ansel Adams and the Masters

I've been a fan of Michael Frye's work for some time and was eagerly looking forward to getting my hands on a copy of this book. When all was said and done I felt unfulfilled. He lightly touched on the masters and their techniques with only a few examples. I wish there head been more depth to the discussion. Same for the digital darkroom. Very high level suggestions. Finally, the book had a *lot* of typos, some grammatical errors and the zone/histogram diagram on page 43 was obviously wrong (which the author now mentions on his website). In short worth a read, but the book lacks depth and could have used a proof reader.

I have been a customer of Amazon since 1997. This book inspired me to write my first review. I took up photography, February, 2010. I wanted to learn how to take better landscape photos, to create the eyecatching photos that Ansel Adams and the other greats are known for. I have read a very complicated book about the Zone System and, although I understood the concept, putting it into practice was another matter. This book, however, made it so simple and easy to understand, from a digital standpoint, that I now use it quite often.

Before this book, I see something I like, I shoot it. Now, I stop and analyze the light. Why? Because the writer spoke of the fact that we are really photographing light and the way it is being reflected. So, now, even though a scene is pretty, if there is nothing special about the light, I don't bother shooting it. I am aware of the meaning of the word "photograph." This book has really help me to "see" differently.

Last, but not least, I like the organization of the book. It follows the natural workflow from picture-taking to processing and printing.

Well worth the purchase for the chapter on editing, processing and printing alone!

This is a relatively slim volume - 160 pages - given the breadth of the subject matter covered. If each of the chapters were given a full treatment this book would easily be 3 or 4 times the size. That's not the point though. What the author appears to be attempting, and achieves in my opinion, is to enhance the readers visual literacy and show how you can use the tools of the digital darkroom to mimic the approach the masters used in the traditional darkroom. How did the masters approach subjects and develop emotion in their photographs? This is illustrated through a combination of photographs from the masters and also from the authors own work - much better this way than pages and pages of text. The section on editing, processing and printing I thought was particularly good - I liked the dodging and burning examples and would happily have seen this section doubled. I'm sure that this book will be well thumbed in the weeks to come. - Nature Photography - Frye - Landscape Photography - Photography'

Frogg Toggs - rain pants, wet weather coat

Just adding my one star review to other reviews that this rain suit is a waste of money. I bought one to take to football games and it tore after standing and sitting a few times the first game I used it at. Coleman Lightweight PVC Rain Suit, Clear, Large

This rainsuit does exactly what it is meant to do...keep you dry without bulk. It is sized well...sleeves and pant legs are long enough for taller than average people (those that need shorter can cuff/cut the lengths). The item folds up small enough to carry unnoticably in a backpack or tote bag...maybe not small enough for some pocketbooks though. As the product description says it is lightweight so don't expect it to be stronger than a trashbag. I originally bought it for myself, but my teenage daughter took it from me and used it while at a rainy day at Universal...yes, I got stuck using the crummy poncho. I am on Amazon now ordering more for the rest of my family because she liked wearing it that much (and no rips).

I work in an area very near to the ocean and I was not having luck finding a rainsuit in size XXL. My finding an affordable rainsuit was necessary to keep my job. I thank you Amazon for being there to help. - Wet Weather Coat - Rain Coat - Rain Pants - Cycling'

Belly Dance Instruction - bellydance dvd, bellydance

If you are a beginner Belly Dancer looking for some good instruction this DVD is incredible I wish I had it along time ago..The instructor is absolutely wonderful and really explains the moves...This DVD has a wonderful section in the beginning on arms and hands which I wish I had a long time ago..Well worth the money plenty of information..The only thing I wish it had was a section on walking undulation I may have missed this part but will go through it again today...This DVD was well put together...I hope she puts out more as she is very easy to understand and packed with information...I will purchase any and all that she puts out...I have a huge collection of DVD's and this is a keeper won't sit and collect dust...Better than those DVD's that I spent &40.00 on... Belly Dance For Beginners

If you have ever wanted to try Belly Dance, this is a perfect selection. I had been considering to do it for awhile and after some looking, settled on this one two months ago or so. Since then I have been learning and having fun.

She is really good at showing you how to do things with examples that are easy to understand. The presentation works well as she shows things from all sides when describing what to do, such as how much movement is needed. Very warm personality that is realy enjoying showing me how to Belly Dance.

This DVD has a couple of short sections to start - general introductions and cautions plus an interview with Leila, which provides a good overview of what to expect and things to keep in mind.

Then there are three main sections - Basic Movements, Intergrated Movements and Dances To Follow.

Basic movements has sections which cover Posture, Arms, Hip Circles, Hip Pushes, Basic Shimmies and Basic Camels. Leile builds on each movement in each section and then at the end puts the moves together. Leila will show the moves from different angles so you can see what she is doing, and does not say "left" or "right" and shows "one side" then "the other" so it makes it easy to follow. The movements are Moving with Shimmies, Egyptian Walk and Moving with Hip Circles. Then there are three more dances to follow and improvise to. There is no instruction on the last three dances - Leila explains this is how dance is often taught when you learn more. There is also a perfomance by Leila to watch which is beautiful.

I have started to feel like I am able to do some of the Basics fairly well and gaining coordination.

I admit it. I am a klutz, born with two left feet. I'm nearly 50 and I'm not in the best shape. I have taken belly dance classes in the past, and I despaired of ever being able to attempt it. Enter Leila of Cairo.

Leila is funny, unassuming, and wholly natural behind the camera. She doesn't put on a saccharine, obviously fake smile. One gets the notion that she is simply being herself. Yet, she explains each move slowly, telling the viewer which muscles should feel the work.

The primary strength of this DVD to me is the sheer amount of time Leila spends on each set of movements. For example, the hip circles section is about 37 minutes. She starts with the simplest movements and drills them (but gently, and in a fun, companionable way so that one doesn't feel one has been ordered about by a drill sergeant.) Without my noticing it, I was able to increase my range of motion and execution of the move. She then moves to the more complicated movements, one step at a time, until before one knows it, one is doing horizontal and vertical figure 8s. This is a move I have never before been able to execute - but keep in my age and my reforming couch-potato lifestyle.

The entire DVD is about 4 hours in length, so one gets a great bang for one's buck, and it's all instruction that coordination-challenged folks like me can assimilate. Her warm and thorough presentation of the basic movements is superb.

The only flaws in this dvd are:

as another reviewer has noted, the poor menuing system is irksome;

there is no warm-up so I suggest that you purchase another DVD for that purpose; and

again, as another reviewer has noted, the dance-to-follow has no instructions - however, Leila notes that this is the traditional way for a senior dancer to teach a novice - but, again, she suggests that you master the first two sections before you attempt the dance-to-follow.

All in all, this is a wonderful DVD. I never thought I'd be able to belly dance, but I'm beginning to see results! No wonder this is the top seller on Amazon.

I don't write reviews for many things.

Keeping that in mind: This isn't a bad dvd, however I'm a fan of something that you push play and it goes through the warm-up and everything.

In other words something that keeps you going and in the groove. This failed. It was like pulling teeth to plug it in and go through the "menu play menu play menu play". If that sort of thing doesn't irritate you this is for you.

The instructor is the only thing that saved this dvd. However because of it's "Menu Play MPMP" it's at the bottom of my stack. I like the "Body by Bellydance" for the beginners (which I definitely am). They are set up like a workout dvd but you get all the basics (figure 8, shimmy, warm-ups) in a smooth play, and if you advance in your ability it's right there (and all you have to do is forward).

But this one isn't horrible, it's just not with my attention span.

I have been practicing belly dance on and of for several years. I have attended one formal class session and what little I know is through DVD instruction. By now, I have an extensive belly dance instruction DVD collection and gotten to know what the market offers pretty well. With this said, this instructional DVD is one of the best I have purchased. What you get for the price and Leila's method of instruction is what makes this DVD more than worth it. While the DVD is not perfect, Leila's method of instruction is and that is what matters if your serious about learning and cannot attend formal classes like me. For example, I have back problems so learning the camel as well as other moves have been a struggle but the way Leila explained it, explaining were to put your focus and intention, the safety tips given and ease of movement cause me to do it and I felt no strain on my back and was actually pretty amazed at how good it look so then I was thrilled. Another example, I thought something was wrong with me because after all this years I could not get the shimmies then after watching her section on shimmies something clicked and there I was shimming with no strain on my knees because she explains were the energy focus needs to be. The background music is great and very upbeat. She shares her thoughts about femininity and has a beautiful performance at the end. Loved the costume. Oh! and this is Egyptian style Belly Dancing. I love this DVD and highly recommended. - Bellydance Dvd - Belly Dance - Bellydance - Belly Dance Instruction'

Exercise Pants

I'm 5'10 and have a 34" inseam and these pants are perfect. Even after I washed AND dried them they didn't shrink up like nearly every single one of my other yoga pants have done. They still come down below my ankles but not too long. I'm buying more now. BELLA 810 SPANDEX YOGA EXERCISE WORKOUT PANTS BLACK LARGE

I liked these pants so much I went back and got a second pair. I bought my usual size. The flare at the bottom is flattering, makes them look like pants more than leggings. I like how they are a close fit on the thighs, not as baggy as sweatpants. I wear these hiking as well as for yoga

These are nice yoga pants. The fabric is thinner than my Danskin yoga pants, but not too thin. Do check the sizing chart for this item, though. According the chart, a Small is a 2/4 and a Medium is a 6/8, which is different from most manufacturers. I am 5'11", 135 lbs, and usually a size 6. I bought the mediums and they fit fine, including the length, but I definitely wouldn't want them any smaller. I suggest ordering one size up, and if you are between sizes, I'd go up another size rather than down.

I read the reviews about these and was worried about them running a bit snug and being long, but I decided to order them anyone because of all of the positive reviews about the fabric and the comfort. I have to say that I am not disappointed.

I bought these in black and as soon as I opened them I could see why everyone loves them! They are a heavy weight knit that has a lot of stretch. The fit is snug, but it's a good snug that I think makes the pants look and feel great, like the hug your body but don't restrict movement. The thing I like most is that the material doesn't stretch and feel loose like other yoga pants have in the past.

I'm 5'7" and wear a size 8/10 right now. I bought these in a large rather than the medium I usually wear in yoga pants (because yoga pants are generally loose) and they are the perfect size for me though they are a bit long. I like a 33" inseam because I like my pants to dust the ground when I'm wearing my shoes (34" if I'm wearing heels). These fit like a 34" inseam though I haven't measured them and the description says 31" for a medium. The length doesn't really bother me at all with shoes on, though if I am wearing them for working out with bare feet I try to be aware of whether or not I am standing on them if I need traction. So far, this hasn't been an issue in yoga / pilates classes. For those who are shorter than I am, I would say that if you are willing to have them tailored, they are worth it. If not, you will likely be unhappy with the product.

I have already ordered a second pair in navy and expect to be buying more in the future.

ordered these for gym pants. Nice length. I am 5'5" but have to buy things for someone who is 5'7", because I have long legs, and these were perfect. The material is thin though, we shall see how long they last.

I gave this product 4 stars because the pants are clearly very high quality and durable. I'm just not sure they're very true to size. At 5'4" and 118 lbs, a size small should fit great, but sheesh, are these things SNUG! I'd advise to be wary of drying them till you've tried them on and see how they fit on you. I figure if I hang these to dry I can use them. A bit of an inconvenience, but the pants seem to be really durable, so I'll deal with it.'

Professional - pencil sharpener, professional

I'm taking an art class for grad school and needed a nicer sharpener. Had two cheap ones I hated. The reviews seem to heavily favor a couple of Panasonic models, but nobody seems to have them in stock. The next highest rated sharpener was this one, and it had a couple positive reviews, so I ordered it.

Pros:

Weight: Doesn't get pushed back when you stick a pencil in it.

Weight II: The motor is heavy. It takes up about half the volume of the box. It feels like a substantial device.

Motor: Steady and reasonably quiet. Not jerky or wobbly. Doesn't strain during sharpening.

Sharpener: Shaves evenly and smoothly and won't eat pencils unnecessarily fast. Produces nice, long points.

Fit: Standard Prismacolor pencils fit neatly in the hole and won't wobble during sharpening. Seems to be manufactured with rather tight tolerances.

Cons:

Sucker feet: They prevent lift, but not sliding. They should have used regular rubber feet.

Static: The plastic has a tendency to get a static charge and makes shavings cling to the outside when you empty the shaving tray. Wipes up without much trouble.

Summary:

Pros easily outweigh the cons. It performs the way you'd expect a high quality sharpener to perform. I can't imagine I'd be significantly happier with a competing product. X-Acto 1744 Heavy-Duty Electric Pencil Sharpener, Black, 1 Unit

I was a little hesitant to go with this brand as I had never heard of it. Also, at the the time of purchase, this product had only 9 reviews, although all were largely positive.

However, after reading "Truth and Justice's" review, I decided to try this one out. The sharpener is everything he/she said it was. By far, this is the most powerful sharpener I have ever used in my life and I have been in numerous office environments.

To address the complaint of one reviewer that the sharpener eats the entire pencil, let me explain my experience. I just got through a stack of about 30 pencils and my experience is this is dependent on the brand/quality of the pencil. For most pencils, this was not a problem at all and the sharpening came to a natural conclusion.

For a few varieties, it did eat up a lot of pencil, but i realized after a while that the pencils were sharpened long before and I did not always need to get that sense of completion. I would just take the pencil out after a few seconds. As I mentioned previously, this thing is a machine, and if you keep the pencil in there, it will keep sharpening it until you have nothing left. I view this as part of the positive experience.

I highly recommend this unit.

So far this has been an awesome pencil sharpner. I received it quickly. Most important it is durable, when I first received it all my kids were excited to use it. And of course one of them put the eraser end in first...but I was able to pull out the metal piece and it works just fine. Worth the money, wish I would have bought this before I bought the others.

When I was a kid, we had a boston electric pencil sharpener.

So you can imagine my happiness/surprise when I saw "Xacto by Boston" on the box. I felt better about my purchase already, because Xacto means nothing to me, really, as far as pencil sharpeners go. Seeing as how I had just spent a small fortune on a pencil sharpener, I needed something to make me feel better but I had already gone through several manual and one battery powered sharpener and I really needed something as good as the ol' Boston we had when I was a child.

Other interesting details from the box:

1) This supposedly has a receptacle size 7. The largest is a 10.

2) On a scale of 1 to 4, this one is rated for "heavy" use (a 3). The only higher usage is "continuous" (a 4).

3) It has a whopping 2 year guarantee.

4) The box also says "Auto-reset prevents motor burnout". we already used this feature. My kids sharpened about 50 pencils IN A ROW. it was soooo satisfying for them to see a perfectly sharpened pencil emerge each and every time they sharpened (even my wife's friend came by and wanted to sharpen a few). But, they overheated the poor sharpener. it stopped running. Sho nuff, the next day after it had cooled down it was ready for action again!

Overall, i have to say I was VERY unhappy to spend $40 to get a good sharpener, but this one has every indication of lasting a long, long, time.

I would rate this a definite BUY, once you gag down the almost $40 price tag. I wish I had bought it to begin with!

I teach 1st grade and we go through lots of pencils a day. I have had 2 other electric sharpeners and was tired of one side of the pencil never getting sharp enough to expose the whole lead at the end. Kids were picking at the wood all the time trying to get their pencils to work. I researched pencil sharpeners and relied mostly on reviews so I wanted to let all the teachers out there know, this sharpener is my favorite. It is quick and pencils are sharp all the way around and life in 1st grade is all good!!

I use an electric pencil sharpener every single day of my life, for hours at a time. The one I've relied on for years -- a "lesser" X-Acto model -- started to grind and break lead, so I figured I'd splurge and buy a top-of-the-line X-Acto model. This is not, however, top-of-the-line.

1) The blades do not sharpen the pencil. Sure, they hone it into a sharp-looking cone like all pencil sharpeners do -- but they leave a substantial flat end to the point which is, by any draughtsman's standard, not at all "sharp." Maybe this defect was a problem only with the one I bought, but for $40 I would have expected that its main usage would have at least been tested. It is NOT a "sharpener."

2) Most importantly, however, the actual blades are recessed so far into the guts of this machine that you have to reserve 3-4" of pencil to hold before the blades even engage. I frequently use pencils down to 1" or less before I ditch them, so that means I'm losing 1/3 of the life of each pencil. The sharpener I'm replacing (and to which I'm returning, after I return THIS clunker) engage almost immediately upon insertion of the pencil itself.

Yes, this review sounds insane. But if sharp pencils are your life, then don't buy this extremely poorly-designed deep-action pencil-wasting "blunter." - Pencil Sharpener - X-acto - Professional - High School'

Treadmill Book Holder - kindle accessory, treadmill accessories

Although it seemed large enough on the internet, I found that it was not long enough, or wide enough, for the excercise machines. The explanation on the web did not give the dimensions. Cordless Phone - cordless phone

Got this as a replacement for my dying BT-1007 type battery on my Uniden. Straight away saw that this had a higher capacity to the stock one. The Uniden is rated at 500mAh where as this one is 1500mAh so theoretically thrice the juice. Received it 4 days ago, and it is still running strong. I have not had to charge it since the initial charge. But as with any power storage device, have to wait and see how things go in the long run once the memory effect and all that junk kick in. Uniden BT-1007 Cordless Phone Battery Replacement For 2 AA w/Mitsumi - Panasonic HHR-P506 (Type 17), Uniden BT-904, Radio Shack 23-960 Battery

Great battery, The phone had a lesser battery and had to be returned to the base after every call. Now the phone can stay off the base for at least 4 days without needing a charge! Overall a great battery.

Just what my mother been looking for!! Most retail stores don't carry this type of battery. RadioShack charges almost the price of another phone if purchased there!!!! I'm so glad that I thought about searching for the product on Amazon.com

Amazing, the one that came with the phone's didn't work and so did this cheap replacement also not work. I know the phone and charging cradle work because I tried a battery from another one of the phones. I ordered another one from a different company for twice as much, and I hope it works. My $59.95 super deal Uniden 6.0 phone set from Geeks.com has so far cost me $78.50

Ordered this battery to replace my uniden phones battery which has been slowly dying. This battery seems to hold a charge very well. I have had it for a month so far and have not seen the battery life below a full bar.(although its on the charger almost everyday.)

This product was excellent for the price. I purchased 4 of these batteries for my uniden phone and they have worked perfect. With these new batteries I can use my phone for 6 to 7 days before I have to even think about recharging the phone. Would highly recommend this product.

This battery did not fit the phone for which it was ordered. The selling company, Bedford Power did not return calls to discuss return and refund, but

thank goodness Amazon helped and we got a full refund.

I received this product as shown. I bought two batteries, one of the batteries was defective. I contacted Ultralast and they sent a replacement battery within a few days. I could not find this battery in any of the local stores. I believe this is a fair price for the battery. - Cordless Phone'

Disc Cleaner - dvd cleaner, cd cleaner

Easy to use, takes 4 AAA batteries. Spray-cleaner it kept in a slot. You take that out and spray the disk, then drop it into the cleaner. No on/off switch is automatically since exertions.

Removes the surface grime, those pesky fingerprints that cause problems. Cleans DVDs, CDs.

Really does the trick if you are just looking to clean your CDs and DVD. If you need to repair scratches I recommend Aleratec DVD/CD Disc Repair Plus Digital Innovations 60101 Motorized Disc Cleaner

I bought this cleaner to replace and old Maxell manual cleaner that served me very well. I was doubtful that it would work because the price was so reasonable. Though it has worked on the majority of disks that I've tried it on, this is a cleaner for lite users only. If you often encounter disks that require a more intensive cleaning, then skip this one. For those lite users, I would recommend using a spray of glass cleaner rather than the included spray.

Regular use of this cleaner will eventually required that you purchase a new cleaning pad. The problem is that you'll have to buy the entire accessory kit full of things that you will most likely never need just to get one little pad. I'm not a fan of hidden costs. Honestly, I haven't found a replacement pad pad yet and I anticipate that I'll eventually just have to throw the whole thing away and get another cleaner. tadaaa! Now you're back where you started.

I bought this item mostly to clean rental DVDs before putting them into my new DVD player. $10 seemed worth the risk. For my first use, I cleaned a particularly heavily-used DVD according to the instructions. The DVD did not look noticebly different afterwards, and upon playing the disc it skipped and was unplayable. I did another application with this product, and it still did not play. As a last resort, I sprayed the disc with Windex and used a lint-free towel to clean it. The disc played fine. Another time, I picked up a CD that was out of its case and had gathered dust and a couple of fingerprints. This device did a good job removing the dust and the light fingerprints. I still intend to use this product routinely to remove dust and grime on lightly soiled discs, but expect that it will be worthless when it is called upon to clean heavily used rental DVDs.

I bought one of these and was quite disappointed. I have two small kids who get fingerprints on all of there DVDs. I sprayed one, dropped it in the machine, watched it spin around and then...

When I pulled the disc out, there were still fingerprints all over it. Using my shirt, I gently wiped on one and it came right off.

How can the cleaning pad NOT work, but my shirt work just fine?

I took it back to the store.

Not purchased from Amazon, but the 2nd of my dud purchases at Fry's electronics. The "cleaner" simply spins the disc while a "cushion" of cleaning material pushes down on the surface and attempts to remove dirt and smudges.

I tested this item on a moderately dirty DVD and watched in amazement as it made perfect rings of grime evenly around the DVD. I applied 2 more doses of the cleaning fluid and more of the same. A useless gimmick rather than a real cleaning tool.

Prior to dropping and breaking it I'd been using the "CD Stealth" cleaner, which works in a radial fashion, and had been excellent for almost 4 years.

This doody is going back to Fry's and I will be getting the more expensive but proven CD Stealth again.

Overall I am pleased with this product. It doesn't actually remove scratches or anything miraculous like that but definately does a good job of cleaning the disc surface. It has made several disks stop skipping on me and eliminates any worries I have of a dirty disk causing damage to the reader eye. It's also definately a safer option then just wiping a disc on your shirt. It does make quite a loud noise when it is cranking away just fyi for the noise sensitive types. Says right on the bottle of spray it is isopropyl alcohol so refills are cheap and easy. Ninety ninety cents at your local drug store would be about nearly a life time supply.

This product works great but the battery compartment won't stay on mine and since it is spring loaded, I can't even get some tape to hold it on. I didn't want the huge of hassle of sending it back so I just deal with it. - Cd Cleaner - Dvd Cleaner - Dvd Repair - Disc Repair'

Panasonic Cordless Phone - cordless telephone, phone battery

I just purchased two of these as replacements, and so far they are working fine. I'll update the review if I find otherwise. I'm not sure what the other reviewer was seeing as a problem - these do not sit on the shelf with a charge that can be lost over time. You must charge these first for them to have a charge. If they didn't keep a charge after charging for the other reviewer, that's a problem. Otherwise, of course they didn't work out of the package.

Note these are 700 mAh versus the 650 I replaced. Panasonic must have upped the storage power - which should translate into longer use times between recharging. PANASONIC HHR-P103 Replacement Rechargeable Battery

Batteries arrived quickly and now my phones are back up and working like they are brand new. Before replacing the batteries with the new Panasonic batteries, I had to recharge the phones constantly and they were always dying in the middle of an important phone call. With the new Panasonic batteries in place I can leave them off the hook for days.

This item came quickly and was just as described and in the original packaging. I was replacing the original battery that came with the Panasonic answering machine telephone system (8 years old) because the handset would not hold a charge for very long and you could not talk on the phone for longer than 30 minutes without the battery giving out. The new battery is working great and I have had no phone calls disconnected since installing it.

We were very satisfied with the batteries we ordered for our portable phones. Came in good time and were exactly as described, brand new and still in original package. MUCH MORE REASONABLE COST WISE than ordering direct from Panasonic.

Would highly recommend buying from this store.

After many years of use the panasonic HHR-P103 batteries for our 3 unit phone system were dying. I love this phone system and even though it has many years of use it works well. I called local places and no one sold them. My next step was the Panasonic online site and while they sold them their price was expensive. I went to Amazon.com found the new batteries for much less! Received the batteries in the time given and our phone system is up and running again. - Battery - Panasonic Cordless Phone - Phone Battery - Cordless Telephone'

My 3yo daughter loves this. It's really what I expected for the price, the reason it only gets 2 stars is because the necklace and one of the bracelets clip with a little plastic tube you insect the pearls in... so one pull on the necklace and it unclips, because it's very easy to slide the pearls out. The little tubes were lost after just one day.... But I guess you get what you pay for. Tangled Rapunzel Light Up Jewelry Set (Blister Card)

This is a great Rapunzel crown, and it's made of a softer plastic not the hard, easily broken plastic. However, the necklace does not play a Rapunzel song or even her voice, it's just a noise that many Disney Princess toys have this standard "wand" sound. I wish it actually had Rapunzel singing. My 3 1/2yr old daughter loves the crown but the charm bracelet broke, the earrings aren't the greatest quality and the necklace and other bracelets are ok

from the picture, the crown looks like it is silver in color and the gems look like they are purple or pink. it is actually yellow plastic with white gems. the yellow plastic is really bad and a big disappointment. however, I should have expected it as the other piece looked plastic in the picture and are as they are shown. just expected more from the crown and really only purchased it for the crown. - More Accessories - Tangled'

Rhinestones - nail art equipment, bundle monster

when i received this in the mail, all the different designs were all mixed up. i had to separate them all! there were many repeats too. after 17 hours of sorting and reorganizing, im satisfied somewhat. After putting a topcoat on the pieces to secure them to my nail, most of the color comes off. I would NEVER buy this again Bundle Monster 10 Nail Art Nailart Manicure Wheels w/ 3D Designs Glitters Rhinestones Beads - total over 14000pc

The pic looked great! The price was greater! Bought the Bundle Monster 10 wheel set without thinking twice. Got my box! SUPER EXITED! Opened my box-face fell to the floor. The wheels are TEEENY TIINY and the stones and beads were all mixed up into each compartment. Very disappointing, took me 7 hours to sort it all out. The wheels look HUGE on here-but they're about the size of a Chips Ahoy cookie :(

This is worth every penny. I was looking for rhinestones because i like having them in the center of flowers when i get my nails done. I decided that spending 5-10 on art alone was getting to be too much. I saw all the other bundles and the single ones that were being sold between $6-$15 so i figured if i could get 10 of them for $18 i was getting the best deal ever because some were selling 4 for $30. Bought it and nothing arrived so i contacted bundle monster and they were super duper fast in responding i waited a couple days to check my email and turns out they replied by the next day. They informed me it had been lost during shipping and that they would send me another which was fine because i was in no rush and i got the 2nd one within 2-4 days. So happy with bundle monster and with these rhinestones!! So many designs and sizes i haven't even used them yet. An extremely good buy!

I'm not sure whether I like this or not. There are more sequins (not glitter) than rhinestones or tiny beads. There's a great variety of designs but I wish it had more rhinestones. Also the packaging is kind of flimsy. Some of the pieces fall out quite easily. I tried using the sequins on my nails, but they are just too rough for my taste.

So excited to get this in the mail along with my fake nails to try some nail art. There was a lot of variety which I liked but some pieces came out of the ox and one set wasn't taped so it may have been used [previously. Over-all very satisfied. It only got three stars because on the box it said it comes with applicator and nail polish which it doesn't but the supplier doesn't specify that so I AM OKAY WITH PURCHASE.

Pretty good quality, and a good variety. I bought it as a gift for my sister, and I think she'll really be pleased. However, the packaging is deplorable. They come in the round containers shown, with little sealed plastic bags over them. The containers are cheap and the tops don't fit snugly and (worse) don't keep the sections separated. The glitter/rhinestones get everywhere because they're not adequately separated; they get into other segments within the container, but they also somehow get out of the container entirely and just float around the plastic bag. This is going to take me FOREVER to sort out... literally hours upon hours of sorting tiny specks of glitter because of a low quality container. Not a crisis and not the worst thing to ever happen to me; I'll probably just sort it all out while watching TV later. But, I think it's definitely something to take into consideration before you buy this product.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. I received my rhinestones super quick. When I received my order I could not believe how many rhinestones I got, there are so many. For the price this is a GREAT BUY!!! I have even placed another order with Bundle Monster. I can't wait to get my stuff:)

Well when i read about this product i was really amazed and thought wow 14000 pcs and a promise of NO DOUBLES

when it arrived (fast, thanx for that) i found many doubles, not only that but the wheels aren't tight enough so the containers missed some pieces and got mixed up!! i was disappointed but for the price of the product it's ok i guess

The wheels have a good amount of rhinestones and other stuff in each section but there is a fair amount of repeat items. I've used maybe 10 different items so far and they all work great with nail art. My only problem so far is a few of the pearl bead things lost their color when I applied my topcoat. I feel like the price is unbeatable so the little things aren't deal breakers.

This came before the date expected to arrive which was great because I was going away the next day for a week :D the only thing is that some of the pieces were mixed in with other ones, mostly the little tiny beads which are not easy to reorganize because they are VERY tiny! good size of gems and decals. but i wish there were more sizes of gems, they only really come in a larger size - Nails - Bundle Monster - Rhinestones - Nail Art Equipment'

These strips are only good for frames that are not that heavy and no bigger then 11 by 14. This is false advertesing it says on the package it can hold bigger frames up to 18 in and 12 pounds. They worked fine for two not heavy frames one was 11 by 14 which i used two and 8 by 10 i only used one. I tried it with a heavy bigger frame 13 inches and in a couple of minutes the picture fell down and the frame broke. I doubt 3m would give my money back on the broken frame they should though. I will continue to use them on my smaller lighter weight frames and continue to use nails for the bigger frames. 3M Command Picture Hanging Strips - Medium, Picture Hanging Strips, Pkg of 6

I love this product! As a renter I try not to put holes in the wall if I don't have to, and these velcro picture hangers are the perfect solution. I even have a 35" cork board hung from my wall with two of them. They're easy to put up and easy to remove without damaging the walls, as long as you follow the instructions. Best part is that if you don't hang your photos level on the first try, you can un-velcro them to easily reposition them. - Pictures - Useful - Picture Hanging Materials'
