Porter-cable - woodworking, sander
I have been looking at the PC390k for quite some time but was waiting for the right price. Found this product which appears to be a clone at a great price. I have two (2) Bosch 1295DVSK's and thought they were great products until I used this one. Buy it, you won't regret it. DEWALT D26456 5-Inch Low Profile Random Orbit Sander
Bought this a few weeks ago...had been getting by with an old Makita quarter sheet for several years...and the sandpaper always ends up coming loose so wanted to graduate. (I am doing some repair work on my exterior clapboard -- although we just had the house painted 3 yrs ago, where there were several layers underneath, it is lifting. Rather than getting a new paint job, some quick sanding, priming, painting is really doing the trick! Now that I have gotten totally off track, this is only possible because I demanded the painter use a high end California brand paint (very highly rated by Consumer Reports) -- "Meeting House Blue" -- and the color has not faded at all! -- perfect blend in).
The reviews for all the DEWALT are great...and for some reason, I just had to have the low profile sander. Does it work well? Yes. It is harder harder to handle given the bigger hand grip? Yes -- and I should have known better as I do have a smaller hand for a guy...especially since the initial use is vertical against a house. Even with that detraction, its a very sound tool. Amazed at how well it captured the dust. I would just caution getting it unless you have a specific reason for a low profile sander.
This is my second palm sander, my first was a porter cable (the pad came off and brushes went bad after many years of service). I like this low profile. I read another review that indicated this one was hard to hold onto but I do not find that to be true. The lower center of gravity makes it easier to control than the porter cable and other sanders. I am only 5'8" as is my son and neither of us have any difficulty holding on to this while working. The variable speed is a nice feature and I highly recommend it.
This sander replaces my great old Porter Cable. First, I bought a Bosch. Terrible tool: it would have worked me to death. It went back to the dealer. Based on review and reputation I ordered this high end DeWalt. It is terrific. I sanded cherry plugs glued into a chest with 80 grit, then followed with 180 and 240. This sander works fast and is easy to control. Light in the hand. Much quieter than either my PC or the Bosch and dust control is the best. This model costs more than other DeWalt models but to me it is a good value.DEWALT D26456 5-Inch Low Profile Random Orbit Sander - Random-orbit Sanders - Woodworking - Sander - Sanders'

Optical Mouse Pad
It's super thin, so it's ergonomic for your wrists. It has repositionable adhesive, so it won't move around and drive you crazy. The surface is designed for Optical Mouse. (It even saves the battery for wireless mouse).
I use it with my Magic Mouse. It's just awesome.
Best mouse pad ever 3M Precise Optical Mousing Surface (MP200PS)
I really love how this pad stays in position when using it and the size is right for like the 10 inch laptop/notebook.
con; does not work on all mice, it works on 4 out of 5 mice. The mouse that I bought it is eratic and jumps around, It is a hp for notebooks. The mouse wooks fine on solid color surfaces.
The picture is totally misleading. I got two first impressions from that top picture that ended up being false, but went with it anyways when I saw so many (+) reviews:
1. This product does NOT have huge bumps all over it, this is just a stylistic graphic.
2. This product is NOT clear, but is opaque so you can put it over a glass surface like what I did
Overall, I would describe this mousepad as:
1. Thin, and stiff, but overall still bend-able. It is NOT made of foam, which helps give the mouse good feedback.
2. Finely granular surface that I find appealing
3. Low friction to allow easy mouse movement
4. Adhesive backing that prevents mousepad movement. If you forget about this adhesive backing, and leave the sticker on it like I did, the mousepad will move all over the place because it is so low friction.
I've owned a number of 3M's "mousing surface"s over the years, and this is the best yet. It's very thin--1/32" or less, and doesn't get in the way of keyboards, your wrist, coffee cups, etc. The back has a low-tack adhesive, like a Post-It note, so it stays perfectly flat and doesn't slide around, but you can easily lift it up and move it around.
The surface texture is less aggressive than the older versions, but optical mice track perfectly and I imagine a mechanical one would, too. The size is nice, although it might be a bit better if it was arced a bit and not a rectangle. Overall, it's just about perfect.
Have a 13.3" MacBook Aluminum and the Magic Mouse I bought simply would not track on the Lextra® (Country Heritage Stars), MouseRug®, black and gold, 10.25" x 7.125", one I purchased. So under the recommendation of other Mac users, I purchased the 3M Optical Mousepad. Looks good... very professional with a Mac-esque style. However, the mousing surface will NOT stay in position on my glass desk. Furthermore, it skews the tracking speed so each time I change mice, I have to mod the Mouse preferences. It's quite bizarre. While I really wanted this to work, it simply doesn't cut mustard. So back it goes!'

Weight Lifting Gloves
Boy have I had a hard time finding a pair of weight lifting gloves! My previous ones were simple leather Saranac gloves, not much padding but they lasted for several years. The leather eventually rotted out forming huge holes. But I can definitely say that the Saranac gloves were awesome.
Now onto the replacement. I tried four different types of gloves.
Harbinger 143
Harbinger 1260
Harbinger 1215 Big Grip II
GoFit Diamond-Trac
The Harbinger 143 gloves were OK. They didn't have too much padding, but fit very snug and were difficult to get off. Also, the fingers were short.
The Harbinger 1260 and 1215 were both unusable due to having too much padding in the palm and knuckle area. The padding is comfortable for pressing exercises (e.g. bench press), but makes it all but impossible to do pulling exercises (e.g. pull ups, curls, deadlifts, rows, etc.). You can try them yourselves, but save some money and take my word for it.
The GoFit Diamond-Trac gloves are the best of the bunch for my needs. They have a little padding in the palm, but not enough to interfere with your grip. They are lightweight, so I'm not sure how long they'll last, but I'll reserve judgment on that. They do make my hands sweat, because the neoprene on the back doesn't seem to breathe well. They run a little larger in size than the other gloves. Also, I like that they have a finger tab to help you pull off the gloves.
Please be kind enough to indicate if reviews are helpful. Harbinger Pro FlexClosure Wash & Dry Glove (Black, Medium)
I recently started casually lifting at the gym. After getting into heavier weights, I found that my limits were more based on what pain my hands could take from holding the metal weights and bars, instead of what my muscles could lift. So I bought these gloves and couldn't be happier. Now I can focus on lifting the weight rather than worrying about my hands getting torn up.
I'm new to weight lifting, but even for light to moderate weights these gloves make a big difference.
I'm sure other gloves would do the trick too, but these had a great price and look. They run small, so order a size up if you're uncertain.
I am satisified with these gloves. However, I had to cut the area between the ring finger and index finger because it was sewn too closely. When my hand was in the glove that area bit into my hand. I am uploading a photo so can see what I am talking about because I may not be explaining myself very well :)
Other than that I like the gloves. They smelled of heavy chemicals when I got them. Just FYI, you might want to wash them with your unimportant laundry to get the toxic smell out. I did not wash mine. And these gloves do not turn my hands black. That's nice.
Had I first tried them on at Sports Authority I may not have bought them. But after making the small cuts in the gloves they perform fine.
I am a Gym Rat, working out 4+ times a week for 2 hours a day. I do about 1 hour of free weights then 1 hour of Cardio. My last pair of Harbinger Gloves were stolen from me at the Gym while I showered. They were $40 Harbinger Model 1250(Grey colored, with wrist straps). I loved those gloves, but I did not want to spend another $40 for gloves I may lose or have stolen, so I found these on Amazon for under $15(Harbinger Model 143,Natural). I am very pleased with these gloves. The color natural was better looking in person than in the pics. While these did not have wrist straps, they were as nice as the 1250 Model. Very Well Made, Great Job Amazon!!!! Comfortable and Durable. I have been buying weight lifting gloves for over 20 years, and these can hang with the best. I take a large and these were true to size. Also NO Bleeding from Dye inside the gloves that stains your hands after you sweat the first few times you use them. Also these gloves keep your hands cool while you lift, making your gloves less likely to smell of sweat after you take them off. I apply some talcum powder to my hands before I put the gloves on. And the gloves look and smell very clean. I was very impressed with the stitching, it was very obvious that these were not cheap gloves. I would expect to pay at least $30 for these gloves, not $13.49!!! So I truly felt that I got a bargain. I may just buy another pair at this price as a backup pair. So if you are on the fence about buying , and need a quality, affordable pair of workout gloves, I can't see you going wrong with these.
These gloves can be found Online or at some Sporting Goods Stores, though you won't find as cheap as Amazon is selling them for. I don't know if this is Amazon's normal price??, or if the $13.49 was just blind luck on my behalf??
I hope this review helped.
I've used Harbinger gloves in the past, and recently got these. But I had to return them because the stitching at the wrist near the label pulled away after two wearings, and it seems like other parts of the stitching will do the same soon. They were also very small; I got an XL based on my prior pair being XL, but these felt like M or L.
These are great gloves! I have no complaints about them, but I do think I should take a moment and address a common complaint that almost kept me from buying them. Several people have commented that the gloves run small. These complaints are frankly idiotic. These people have obviously never owned anything made of leather. NEWS FLASH -- it stretches! Yes, the gloves are small and do pinch at first, but after about a week's worth of wear at the gym they fit perfectly. There's no reason to order one size too big, because if you do you run the risk of them being too loose, which would cause them to rub and cause blisters, which is the whole point of buying them in the first place!
Buy these gloves in the right size, and if you have more patience than a preschooler you'll love them!'

Cars 2
Be aware that the wheels on these cars do not roll and the cars are made of a rubbery plastic material (PVC). If that's what you're looking for, this is a fine product, but I think most kids want the wheels to turn! Disney / Pixar CARS 2 Movie Exclusive PVC 10Pack Deluxe Figurine Playset
My 7 year old paid for this product with his own money. Then waited for the arrival. He was so excited when this package arrived.....Then, it almost brought me to tears to see the disappointment on his face. The description is decieving. Not worth the money.
I bought this Cars 2 set from the Disney store online, and after 5 weeks of waiting for it to arrive we were ultimately disappointed in the product. The cars are made of molded rubber, the wheels don't turn, and everything about them screams "cheap!" I can see these being great to give to babies to teethe on, but I hated seeing the disappointed look on my 3-year-old's face when he held them. Waste of money, waste of time, very disappointed.
Was a disappointment, it read Deluxe Figurine Playset and with the word Playset you would think the cars would have wheels on them to make them a Playset, but that is not the deal, they are a figurine set, what 5 year old wants to look at them and not play with them?
We were finishing our last day at Disneyland and of course the kid's money was burning a hole in their pockets, so they had to buy one last souvenir. My 5.5 y/o son loves Cars. He looked at this set and some other single cars. For $20 I thought it was a good deal with 10 Cars characters. Well it was too good to be true. Got it open at the hotel and realized what everyone else here posted. Cheap plastic cars that don't have wheels that roll. My kid is a good sport and he tells me he still likes them and has played with them. That's just how he is. He moves on. I'm not. I'm planning on writing Disney when I get home.
Maybe the term 'figurine' should have told me? NO where on the package does it explain that they don't roll.
I gave 2 stars since he does play with the toys.'

Expansion Pack - the sims 3, simulation
I usually buy the game itself but I thought I would download it this time, Big Mistake! I'm not saying this would happen to everyone but for me it was disappointment after disappointment.
I have a 15" MacBook Pro and all the specifications for this download including high-speed wireless internet, and the download took 6 hours! After waiting all day to play it, I go to install the game software and it tells me that the Sims 3 I have is not compatible with this game and that I have to download extra stuff. Well, I have the original Sims 3 and all the expansion packs, so I'm not sure what the issue is. So I have to download this new item and the download keeps crashing after about 30 minutes of downloading.
Needless to say it has taken me all day to figure this out and it probably would have been easier for me to get the actual game and wait a day for shipping.
I'm not saying this will happen to everyone, I mean it could have been a bad day for me. And like the review before me says: download times are different for everyone. Just don't go into the download purchase lightly. The Sims 3: Generations [Mac Download]
The Sims 3 generations is a pretty good game. It download pretty quickly and was easy to setup and install. The game provides a lot of cool items for kids and teens. However, as an adult there isn't really an improvement. This game is geared towards the younger generation in the sims. I would have liked to have seen more products for adults. Overall, the game is pretty fun.
I'm giving this 5 stars in terms of how quickly it took to download/install/ and run this expansion.
I've read reviews that the download was giving people issues on Windows so I downloaded this for my Mac. (I dualboot).
Anyhoo, on my 2011 15" MacBook Pro (Intel Core i7 Sandybridge series) I had no trouble installing, getting the updates, and running the game without the disc. (I purchased it and was running it a little under 30 minutes later... but I guess THAT would depend on your processor/ram/internet.)
The download isn't too bulky (a disappointment, really.) Only 1.5GB to download.
Everything seems to be in working order thus far so if you were hesitant to getting the download from Amazon for Mac OSX, don't worry about it.
The best part about this of course is that I can finally play without that darn CD! I think I've used my CD input since I had this computer to hold Night Life. It's good to know I can freely run Sims without stupid mods to remove the disc. Plus, now me and my sister can play this simultaneously! :D
Happy Simming!
There are some fun features in this package but I know I have not even discovered them all because there are so many small random interactions added that I discover something knew all the time! I just love the Sims!
after i bought it, it downloaded within 5-15 mins i have the macbook pro 13' i thought i was gonna have troubles based on the one review but then i was think i could try my self it downloads based on internet connection and yup i STRONGLY RECOMEND THIS WITH FULL INTERNET CONNECTIONNN but buy it either wayy disc or download CANT WAIT TILL PETSS
Since I'm in Germany now and my 15" MacBook Pro has the American Sims 3 with a different area code I thought before I order and wait a long time I may just download it. Well, I've been trying almost an hour now. And as soon as I get to 'Place your order', it goes back to the creditcard information. I can't figure out why it doesnt download and I dont really dare to download it from Origin because they only provide the PC version as a download. - Sims 3 - Simulation - The Sims 3'

Survival Kit - emergency supplies, 72 hour kit
I've been eyeballing this product for a few weeks now and finally ordered it. I was very impressed with how quickly the seller got it to me. Everything included inside is of good quality and I would highly recommend this to anybody interested in an easy and well thought out 72-hour kit. There's also a good bit of extra room for me to put more stuff in the pack as I would definitely like to do a little more customizing on the contents. The one thing that I would suggest to the seller would be to include "Camper's Toilet Paper" instead of a big roll of POM. It's way too large and I didn't wind up using it in my pack. Just seems like a waste of space that could easily be reduced. Other than that minor nitpicking, everything else was great. Survivor Emergency Kit-4 Person, Emergency Zone brand, Disaster Survival Kit, 72 Hour Kit
I'm impressed with the thought that went into this 4-person kit. (it included Toilet paper, toothbrushers,...) It will serve as a good foundational kit. The Food did have a shelf life of 5 years starting form this year. It is what I needed - and there was extra storage to add my pets stuff in if I wanted.
There are lots of emergency kits out there. I researched all of them on Amazon and other web sites and decided on this one mainly because of value and the backpack. I also bought two Emergency Zone Deluxe Emergency Kits too because we have a large family They are great too, but this one comes with more items. The backpack is great because it has several clear pockets. Very organized. We were happy with the quality and it shipped fast. I hope I never have to use it, but if a disaster comes or if we have to go to a shelter, this will be a great kit to have.
The kit is great and service exceeded my expectations. My husband was impressed with the contents of the emergency kit, and me for choosing such a complete one. I am pleased with how I am able to organize everything into the bags and make it easy for me to throw on like a backpack if I should need to. I like it so much that my brother, sister, and I are buying 1 for our mother.
Basic Living is an awesome company that believes in customer service. I was concerned because of the big quake in Japan that I would need survival gear because I live in California. I knew everyone had the same idea because of the quake in Japan and that there was going to be shortages. I ordered a survival kit from Basic Living and they shipped it promptly, they had a note in the box stating they had a few items on backordered and gave me a few extra bars of food. When my backordered items arrived shortly after, they apologized again with a letter and gave me multi-tool pliers as compensation. Thank You Basic Living.
I received the Survivor Emergency Kit for 4 people from Amazon provided by Emergency Zone and the following items were missing from the kit. Candles, tablet, knife, rope, toilet paper, note pad , pencil sewing kit and guide. Amazon sent the return postage via email which I find questionable at best and I am to attach it to the box to return the items. Printer paper? Really? Obviously, there is no quality control in this company and I most certaily would not recommend buying anything from them. They are unavailable to talk to and Amazon is not that helpful in my opinion. I have to wait until they receive the package for a refund and then I have to reorder the product which is a real hassle and very likely not going to happen. Obviously Amazon and Emergency Zone don't have a problem with wasting a customer's time because of lack of Quality Control.
A very good kit for the price. It comes with two back packs but the items could not be separated evenly. I had to purchase extra items to balance the load. Back packs inner storage is not made well but will last the 72 hours needed. My goal was to place two packs at both ends of my house in case one was destroyed or damaged. You will not be able to add emergency clothing for four people to this kit. I purchased a larger pack to complete the kits. I would recommend this kit to others but upgrade the back packs to complete the kits evenly. You will need larger packs if you want to add important items, cooking items, paperwork, or clothing ect....
Bought this kit last week while we were packing in for the hurricane. I've been meaning to get one and this kit seemed to have the best utilities for where we're at. A little extra comfort knowing I've got this around and better immediate security than an insurance policy alone could give. May swap out some things with a few better pieces and will want to get a good multi knife in there too.
Items inside looked cheep. Some items are just in zip lock bags and the bags were torn. The backpack looks like it would not withstand a long trip on someone's back. The backpack actually ripped when trying it on for adjustments. Will contact seller regarding concerns. Would not recommend items. - Emergency Kit - Survival Kit - 72 Hour Kit - Emergency Supplies'

Stud Earrings - pearl earrings, jewelry
I was looking for a nice pair of pearl earrings for my daughter, age 7, who was making her First Communion. Since she had only recently had her ears pierced I wanted gold posts.
I was pleased with the quality of these earrings despite their reasonable price. She received many compliments on them, and has found them easy to put on and take off herself. I'd recommend them. 14k Yellow Gold 5-5.5mm Freshwater Cultured Pearl Stud Earrings
I ordered two pairs, one for me and one for my daughter's 34th birthday. These pearl earrings with 14K gold posts are absolutely beautiful. I received my order a couple of days ago and have been wearing mine ever since. Don't hesitate to purchase these earrings--you won't be disappointed at all!
I purchased these for my 6yo niece for Christmas. When they arrived I noticed immediately that they looked cheap and I could see glue-where the pearl had been glued to the post- on one earring. Not sure at this point if I will keep these or keep searching.
I ordered these pearl earrings for my wedding and I absolutely love them. They are the perfect size pearls and were inexpensive! I received them within a couple of days of ordering! I would recommend this item to everyone!
I got these for a birthday gift for my girl friend. She is small in stature and cannot wear large earrings. She said these were "Super Awesome". They are very nice and look special, the way they shine while in her ear lobes. I did make a very good purchase.
14k Yellow Gold 5-5.5mm Freshwater Cultured Pearl
I actually bought this for my 9 year old daughter and the pearl was too big for her lobes, but I am now wearing them and I love them! The color compliments and they are perfect for dressy/casual into more of a formal look. Overall I am pleased with these little earrings! - Freshwater Pearls - Stud Earrings - Pearl Earrings - Jewelry'

Microfiber Cloths - screen cleaner, laptop
Purchased a few of these to go along with the Rosewill RCN-SC106 Plasma/LCD screen cleaner I'd purchased and they work wonderfully. My recommendation would be to spray a little of the cleaner I mentioned above (found it on sale for $9) on one and clean slowly and keep a dry rag for recleaning (again slowly). I used these to clean a 55" LCD TV, 24" LCD monitor, and 2 15" laptop LCD screens... all of them look brand new again. The 24" monitor had some large, obvious smudges on them that I'm not quite sure how I got and the tv, which is now mounted on my wall, had finger print smudges on them from my 2 year old. After thoroughly cleaning, you can not tell any of my screens had ever been touched by human hands. For what it's worth, I'm exceptionally picky about the way the screens look. I examined them in different amounts of light and from all different angles to make sure I could no longer see any evidence that there was ever a smudge on the screens. Cables Unlimted ACC-FIBER6 Ultra Absorbent Microfiber Cleaning Cloths (6 Pack)
I have a glossy surface on my laptop which is an insane fingerprint magnet. Nothing really cleans it that well. So I somehow found out about microfibre cloths and bought these. They work beautifully at cleaning my computer--they remove all the grime and fingerprints with a minimum of effort. They also clean my screen well.
I ordered these because I needed more microfiber cloths to use with my family-size Monster TV CLNKIT Alcohol-Free ScreenClean Kit] bottle and I wasn't disappointed.
What you get is six 12"x12" (one square foot each) reasonably soft cloths, enough to last you for a couple of years of monitor screen/laptop/keyboard cleaning. I am quite happy with this product.
However I do not agree with the advice given customers:
>>>"reuse over and over by simply throwing them into the laundry and washing them along with your clothes"<<<
Do this at your own risk, if you don't mind soap streaks on your monitor screen. I will NOT reuse a cloth to clean a screen once it went through the washer. If you dedicate a couple of these cloths to screens, you can use it many times on screens only but, once they get dirty, just throw them away - they are not THAT expensive to replace.
I wanted these to clean my eye glasses, read the reviews but didn't get much info about specs specifically.
I have now tried these and they dont do the job on glasses at all. They leave small fibers all over my glasses which I then need to wash again and dry with a different cloth. I have washed the towels and still have the same problem.
They seem perfectly fine for other uses though I haven't tested them.
These are some great cloths. They feel super-soft and are pretty big. I used them on my Panasonic Plasma, my Samsung LCD monitor, and even a blu-ray game disk. All were cleaned perfectly (using the GE 22557 cleaning solution available on Amazon.com). You get 6 for a good price. Another reviewer suggested not washing them, just throwing them out when you're done. Is that good advice? I don't know. But at this price, I could always buy more. You get several uses at least out of each one.
I got some serious smudges off my plasma with these cloths and that GE solution (I have a toddle at home). I hadn't cleaned my LCD monitor in years (I was afraid), but now it looks brand new.
These types of cleaning cloths are the absolute best option for cleaning the screen of Apple's iPad. Nothing else that I've ever tried has been anywhere near as effective at removing the oils left behind by fingers on the touch screen. They are also gentle enough that you won't worry about scratching the screen.
I purchased these microfiber cleaning cloths to clean some computer screens I have that needed cleaning (glossy laptop screen, glossy monitor, and LCD TV). They arrived very quickly from Amazon. I started with the laptop screen. After a few wipes, I noticed the screen was not getting any cleaner. Upon further inspection, the more I gently wiped, the dirtier the screen became. It appeared as if the cloth was shedding its fibers onto the screen while I wiped. I tried wiping the monitor and the same thing happened. Ultimately, I ended up trying a few different things to clean the screens, including some store bought wipes (horrible) and using a tiny amount of a water/isopropyl alcohol solution (didn't work with these cloths). In the end I was only able to clean my screens using an old undershirt and the alcohol solution. These cloths are terrible for cleaning glossy screen monitors. I was too afraid to subject my LCD TV to these cloths, so I didn't try them on that. I'm not sure what good a microfiber cloth that sheds so much is. Maybe I'll wash them and use them as soft face cloths or something. If you're looking for something to clean any sort of screen, look elsewhere.
They have the resemblance of wash cloths but they seem to do a nice job of cleaning my ipad 2 off in the spots the cover's microfiber lining is not rubbing. So far no visible damage to the screens I have used it on. - Screen Cleaner - Cleaning - Monitor Cleaner - Laptop'

Childrens Art Supplies - art, childrens art supplies
It says in the product review about that this pair is the most recommended by teachers. They're not kidding either. If you're looking for something that is easier for children to manipulate, especially those in kindergarten and preschool, be SURE to buy these! They hold up so very well, are more comfortable in their hands, and they just work so much better than those cheaper store brands. We've had these for quite a few years and I can't say enough good about them. They even work great when you're sewing and need to cut a thread or two! Highly recommend! Fiskars 94167097 Kids Classic 5-Inch Blunt Tip Scissors, Colors May Vary
Dont be fooled into thinking that these scissors are truly for left-handed kids. The handles may be molded to fit either hand. But in order to be truly left handed scissors, the blades must be reversed. It's physically impossible to make ambidexterous scissors. Hold the scissors open in front of you, with the blade pointing away from you and one handle in each hand. If the blade on top is coming from your left hand, then they are truly left-handed scissors. If it's on the right, then they simply won't cut well when used left handed. The natural cutting action of the hand will push the blades apart rather than together and the paper will slip between the blades - very frustrating for a preschooler who is learning to use scissors. If you're looking for scissors for your left-handed child, don't waste your money on these!
Pros:
- Great quality (construction and details) product, great brand (Fiskar).
- Blunt tip for child's safety
- Not dangerously sharp but cuts perfectly on papers, strings, even cardboard. Blades are perfectly aligned. Actually useful for many household chores.
- Rust resistant
- Handles are well suited for little hands
Cons:
- A little pricy (but you can find it on sale for 99 cents a piece at certain times. If you do, grab a couple or more)
These are Fiskars so you expect sharp quality that cuts without binding. That's what you get of course. They cut reliably and take the frustration out that comes with the cheap stamped scissors that are riveted together. They're blunt nozed and short.
Great for trimming the occasional matted hair from a long haired dog. It's easy to poke an uncooperative dog with sharp pointed or long scissors. These are perfect as well as sharp and durable.
This is a good quality scissor and just what I was looking for for our 4-year old daughter. We bought another pair locally but found that it was too sharp for her and ran the risk of cutting herself. We bought these instead and they are much safer, no chance of her cutting herself. It still cuts through paper without any problem. In fact, I use it to open up all her toys and their arduous packaging with this pair of scissors and it works just fine. Recommended product for your little one.
I've got a 3 and 4 yr old and they love these scissors. My only flaw was in ordering only 2. We've already lost a pair. Now they fight over the last remaining one! But back to the review, they are high quality, easy to use, and the tip is round so they aren't stabbing each other. In other words, if you need scissors for kids just buy them and quit reading reviews already.
The tip is not pointy, but the blades are nearly as sharp as the normal scissors. The packaging says it's for 4 year old kids and above, which is probably the age when they are more aware of the danger. Don't buy it for younger kids, or as in my case, if the kid has a sibling smaller than 4.
Cutting works well and the handle fits the kid's hand well too.
I got this for my son, who has been using the large adult scissors for cutting (paper, cardboard, etc) since the other kid's scissors I got him was plastic and cuts paper decently (if you only use 1 sheet) but does not cut well on thicker paper or thin cardboards. Since I got this for him he's been using this scissors and seem happy with it. - School Supplies - Left-handed - Art - Childrens Art Supplies'
