Flash Memory - 32gb, sandisk
I use a canon T1i for timelapse and video, and really push rapid shooting. I have used it on a mountain in snow and moonlight at 14 degrees, and only once encountered a small buffer window on a long video take at 1080p. It works great, I have never had problems with Sandisk cards, they help me make a living at shooting. I also use Ultra II cards, and only notice the smallest of time difference writing to the card in camera. Loading to the computer data from the card does take longer then the ultra, but unless you need to dump data fast this one is fine and cost less. I would go for storage size over file transfer to computer speeds anytime. SanDisk Standard - Flash memory card - 32 GB - Class 2 - SDHC
This is only a class two card. As such it performs exactly as expected.
I'm not using this for anything incredibly speed sensitive. I ripped my daughters DVDs to MPEG4 files, scaled them down to PSP size standards, took them down to 96 KBps audio, put over 50 of them on this card along with some shorts and included music videos. Now my daughters cheaper than a portable DVD player without the risk of scratching or inconvenience carrying disk netbook with only a 4GB SSD is good to go. When we make a long road trip she's got plenty of movies, which is exactly what this was bought for.
If you're expecting to record live HD video don't even consider this card. It works reliably at the speeds it's expected to work out, the published class 2 speeds.
Class 2 - Minimum of 2 MB/s performance. Lowest speed for SDHC cards.
From:
[...]
This was a very slow SD card. I would not recommend this to be used for anything. I tried this on a camera and it was so slow. I put in a different SD card and there was no comparison -- every SD card I own goes faster than this 32GB one. - 32 Gb - Memory Card - 32gb - Sandisk'

Action Adventure - chris evans, paranormal
I like SciFi and Action type films so to no surprise I enjoyed this film. Chris and Dakota did a fantastic job and also I like where the film was shot as you get to see an exotic scenary. I hope that there is a sequel.
I watched it on Blu-Ray so visually I was very pleased and liked the sound system. Push
It only takes a quick glance at the other reviews for this film to get the sense that this film is just a little above the stale and stinky mark for most viewers. That's ok as it doesn't ruin the experience for those that do find the film to be a bit entertaining, which is where I come in at.
Certainly this isn't what most people would find to be a classic, in fact, more people would likely find it completely forgettable, or at least want it to be forgettable, than would even give the film a bit of a positive reception. Perhaps that's just a sign that Sci-fi fans want and demand better and are easily disappointed when it isn't delivered.
The basic story outline has been laid out in the product information from Amazon. What isn't detailed there are all of the details, though the film does only a mediocre job at best in filling in those details itself. That's perhaps a big part of the reason so many people are down on this film. Things happen, but there's little explanation why in many cases, which leaves a viewer wondering just who they should be feeling sorry for or who they should be supportive of. On the other hand, audiences needn't always be spoon fed all of the details and at times it's best to just turn off your brain and enjoy the ride, assuming there's a decent ride to enjoy.
Push is an ok effort that would probably be a 2.5 star effort if it were possible to choose something between 2 and 3. Maybe even a hair below that (think C minus minus territory), though if there's not much else on, it'll work as an evening's entertainment. Enough to spend purchase money on? Probably not so much. Enough to rent? Certainly.
I don't know why everyone keeps saying that this movie was just ok. I thought it was really good and entertaining. It isn't your normal superhero movie. I think that is a good thing. There needs to be different ideas out there. Not every superhero has to save the world at the end of the day. Give this movie a try. I'm glad i did.
Overview:
This movie starts 10 years in the past, where Nick Grant (Colin Ford as a youth and Chris Evans as an adult) is a young teenager. His dad is killed by agents of the Division. As the story goes, the Division is a shadowy government organization that has continued doing research into the development of soldiers with psychic capabilities. This research was started in Nazi Germany in 1945 and has secretly continued since then. Radiation is used to improve these capabilities, however, the survival rate after the treatment has not been good.
In order to understand this movie, you need to be aware of the major categories of the different psychics and their capabilities:
- Watchers : able to see future events, demonstrated by drawings;
- Movers: able to control objects without physical contact;
- Pushers: able to implant thoughts and change memories;
- Shifters: these persons can change the appearance of objects;
- Sniffers: smell objects and personal effects to obtain associated info;
- Stitchers: these have healing and hurting capabilities;
- Bleeders: these by shouting can cause bleeding and internal damage;
[Other categories include: Loopers and Shadows no explaination is given for these.]
Storyline:
Cassie Holms (Dakota Fanning) is led by a drawing to find Nick and to get his help to find a briefcase that can lead to the Division's undoing. Initially, he is prepared to walk away from Cassie until a Chinese Bleeder gang who also wants to get their hands on this briefcase come into the picture. From there on in it is a 3-way toss up for who will end up with this prized briefcase.
The Cinematic Experience:
There is a kind of X-men feel to this movie, however, the capabilities are more well defined and the competing parties are more evenly matched. The special effects are very well done, especially when the movers are in action. The gun work is quite unusual, there is no bullet time, but the various opponents use temporary 'mover shields'. There are extra elements of uncertainty added as Nick and Cassie try to mislead other watchers.
Conclusion:
This is an excellent thriller/action film, while some may say that it is not too original, I find that there is enough new material so that it cannot be labeled as a knock off.
Best film ever? Probably not. BUT, it's fun. It's colorful, imaginative, and full of action. For the first time in several years, you've got a slick sci-fi movie that hits all the major points of an instant classic and somehow manages to be totally grounded and unique.
English language, Good looking, plastic, Asian locals and faces make an X-Men style story done low-budget and low key flick feel like easy fun. Powerful DTS HD sound and great photography; decent performances and direction; styled like a realistic comic book and it's another future hit. Shallow but deep in style but mundane in attitude; powerful action scenes and interesting drama. Almost like a film from the 50s, but new.
Push has its detracters, but not here. I'm waiting for the sequel myself -- getting Cassie's Mom out of Division. (I'm waiting for the prequel, even -- Nick and Kira running bush league cons at Coney Island!) Dakota Fanning steals every scene she's in, and with the possible exception of Maggie Siff, may be the only full-time working actor on the DVD. It's amazing to see a film with this subject matter that isn't bogged down in left-over Twilight Zone cant about the self-punishing nature of psi. These kids (including the old woman on top the building and the ink-stained scholar on the yellow boat) revel in their abilities, and wish they were much, much better at them. They need to be. Division, which shares the same dream but a far different end, is better than they are. Far from not suffering these witches to live, we can celebrate their lives entirely steeped in the ambience and philosophies of the Orient. Hong Kong has never looked grittier or prettier, even counting that stupendous walking soliloquy in the rain from Ghost in the Shell. I don't think I've watched an SF movie more, with the exception of Them! and Blade Runner, including Star Wars, Star Trek, Close Encounters, and Alien(s). Push delivers. I mean, who can think of Bleeders, for crying out loud? Watchers, with all their foibles, feel absolutely right because their errors are based on the right quantum stuff. Pushers are, I'll admit, a bit of Old Hat -- e.g., Isaac Asimov's Napoleanic tyrant, The Mule, from Second Foundation, could realign an assassin's loyalties with a glance and so takes honors as the archetypal Pusher. Sniffers are... predictable, true, but... THIS banal? Push has humor. I like lots. - Action - Chris Evans - Paranormal - Telekinesis'

Gun Holster - holsters, belt
I bought this belt for use in the Sheriff's Training Academy. Being that most departments issue your duty belt when you get a commission I didn't need anything fancy. The belt is inexpensive, so you have to expect there are going to be some issues with it. When I got it the pepper spray holder was broken already. No big deal, I don't need that for the academy... When we went to do weapon retention during our PPCT excercises I found that the holster was very easily ripped right off of the belt. Very bad to have a fight with someone and they grab your holster and give it an EASY yank and it all comes off, holster and gun, one and all! Overall, it fulfills basically what I need for the academy but if I were buying duty gear I would definitely get something more reliable. UTG Crime-Buster Law enforcement complete modular equipment system
I use the belt for my job doing security. It works great for whati do. The only complaint I have are the belt keepers. The keepers you have to put your regular belt on part of the way the slide thebelt through one keeper then put the belt through a couple more loops then through through the other keeper then try to finish putting your regular belt the rest of the way. It takes some time. Other than that it is a great product. I am happy with my purchase.
I had purchased this with the expectation that it came, as advertised, with at least a holster; the other goodies were mostly for fluff on a Halloween costume I was planning to put together, but I didn't want to get something really cheap and tacky. The belt is rather nice and easily adjustable, and probably the only truly solid article out of the kit. The other pouches and attachments range from good to mediocre, to include the glaring absence of a holster of any kind. I may have not researched the item properly, but it most assuredly does not come with a holster. It did seem to come with an odd pouch that defied my attempts at classification, though. The Velcro fastening system for the individual items is rather nice, and intuitive to use.
I wanted to like it more, but the lack of a holster as promised drove me to only give it two stars. I'd double-check with the supplier first that it will indeed ship with a holster, that or simply use your own if that's your thing.
This belt is awesome, it comes with almost everything you can think police officers carry. It is very strong and can be extended to accommodate up to a 50 " waist as stated in the description, my waist is around 36 " so this belt fits me perfectly. Everything in the picture is included. I counted 9 items in the picture and that's what I received. The supplies included are also strong and high quality and stay on the belt well, so I don't know why the other reviewer said it wasn't built well. There is also one disappointment I have, not for the belt but for the dual mag holster, it is a little small. Also as another reviewer stated, the belt keepers are a little difficult to use, and I wish they included more than two. Other than that this product is great. 5 STARS ***** - Duty - Belt - Holsters - Gun Holster'

Dockers Cordouory - ebert, dockers cordouory
I have a difficult time finding dress pants that fit without needing tailoring. These do the trick. The 32x32 fit much more like 31x31. I'm guessing because they have an elastic support in the waist. This isn't your grandpa's elastic though, it is actually very comfortable. This pants do tend to fit a little snug in the hips, but that shouldn't be an issue as long as you get the right size. Overall, they look great, and feel great. Geoffrey Beene Mens Flat Front Performance Dress Pants, Black, 34X32 - Corduroys - 54x30 - Dockers Cordouory - Ebert'

Dell Latitude Battery - dell battery, d600
When I was looking for a battery, I did not expect to find a brand new one for so little. It was a wonderful deal and the bonus was a little written instructional manual about how to correctly discharge your battery and reset it to its maximum charging capacity. Which makes it take a better charge and last longer (something the Laptop manufactures don't want you to know!) I preformed the total discharge for my other laptop and reset my battery and now it will hold a 4.2 hour charge. Thank You! Thank You! Laptop Battery Compatible with Dell® Inspiron 500m, 600m Series, Latitude D500, D505, D510, D600, D610 Series, Precision M20, Workstation M20 Series
As the Dell battery from Dell is expensive, I thought I'd save some money buying a replacement battery on Amazon. The battery I got wouldn't even power up my laptop. I assume it's a defect with the specific battery I got as opposed to the entire product line, since other people indicate success.
Since it was processed by Dekcell (available for Prime shipping), return was super easy. May try again.
I'm running a Dell Inspiron 600m.
I tried this battery as an alternative to Dell's overpriced replacement batteries. I use it in a Latitude D610. It was a little quirky at first. When I plugged in outlet power after drawing down the battery a bit, it didn't consistently begin charging. After using it for over a month, the problem appears to have resolved itself. Aside from that temporary quirk, the battery has performed well, and I consider it a great bargain.
The battery was delivered promptly and fit into my Inspiron 500m the same as the original. It has been working adequately in the month since it was installed.
There are three issues to document:
1. The battery was fully charged when received based on the fuel gage on the bottom. It also reported over 90% by the time MS XP SP2 had booted and has charged up to 100% with normal use. While I have not timed the unit precisely, I do get 2-3 hours of normal use on a charge, which is adequate. However, when I booted the laptop with XUBUNTU, which has a much more informative battery status monitor than the Microsoft OS, it reported that the battery (still brand new) was only in 'Fair' condition. This info comes from the battery pack, not from the OS or the PC. Microsoft will report that the battery has 100% of its capacity, but does not say whether the capacity has been internally derated from its original design specifications. The battery now reports (after only a month of use) that the capacity is 'Poor' (59% of rated), that the original design of 53Wh has now been reduced to 32Wh. It appears to have stabilized at that level. It is still worth the price, I suppose, but I would imagine that it will need replacement in a year, unless the performance increases with use. Of course, it might be the XUBUNTU, but I believe that it is simply reporting info provided by the battery pack's built in electronic monitor.
2. I also received a warning from the XUBUNTU OS the first time I operated with the new battery pack that the battery MIGHT be subject to a recall, but no wandering about the net revealed any supportive info for that and XUBUNTU no longer reports the warning. Not quite sure what to think there, but the laptop has not burst into flames....... yet.
3. The last is a minor thing. The rubber foot built into the battery pack is of an inferior grade of rubber compared to the original foot, since it leaves black skid-marks on the table tops on which the laptop has been used. I replaced it with the rubber foot off of the original battery and that problem is gone.
Since the price, including shipping is less than a third of the Dell OEM replacement part, I guess it is still a deal, though I certainly cannot give it 5 stars.
There are different levels of mAh in this batteries
My labtop works with 4,4 mAh and the battery came with 5 mAH this difference makes that the battery only charges to a max of 17%
If you are going to order check the mAH or you will be disapointed and the vendor does not specify this
While the battery fits in the place provided, and seems to be working, the specs do NOT match the description provided by the seller. Rather than a 4400MAh battery at 11.1V, I received a 2200MAh battery at 14.8V. I think this is a difference of 4 cells vs 6 cells in the design, but I paid for a 6 cell battery.
Caveat emptor, sometimes you get what you pay for. I really should have listened to my gut on this one.
Price seemed right, but that was the only positive to this product. Mechanically, there's really only one thing that could go wrong with this battery, and sure enough, the spring-loaded latch on mine was broken when I received it. Decided to request a replacement, but wasn't permitted to do so. Instead, I had to return for a refund and then reorder. Seemed a bit counterintuitive. - Dell Latitude Battery - Replacement Battery - D600 - Dell Battery'

Belkin Wireless - belkin, belkin router
To begin, I purchased this router less than a few weeks before Christmas. This is actually my first wireless router (I had always used wired routers before), but I was able to plug it in, and connect perfectly fine. In less than 30 minutes, I was able to set it up, and my wired connections worked perfectly fine. Only problem was that the wireless didn't work at all.
I've struggled with the wireless for a week after I got this router. The problem was that upon first setting up the router, it would work fine, but as soon as you implement new settings (port forwarding or wireless security, for example), it would suddenly stop working. I found that hard resetting was the only way to get the wireless to work, but of course, leaving it as thus was unacceptable because I wanted to at least set up wireless security to prevent outside access. Unfortunately, after a few hours of struggling with this, it resulted in the wireless not working at all. Hard resetting, powercycling, reinstalling the firmware; nothing worked.
As a computer hobbyist, I usually pride myself on being able to fix things like this myself, but even I wasn't able to do anything. Needless to say, I had to call tech support. I may as well say here that tech support is absolutely worthless. I was routed to, where else, India, and got on with a tech support representative. I was led through the basic steps (and had to ask the rep. to repeat multiple times because I couldn't understand) and, at the end, the wireless still wouldn't work. The rep kept insisting that wireless isn't working for me simply because I either didn't have 'the drivers' or the 'proper wireless adapter'. Finally, I just had enough, and I was on my own getting the wireless to work again.
Just as I was having serious thoughts about making a return, however, I somehow managed to get the wireless to work. I must have had help from God because, at that point, it had seemed hopeless. Nonetheless, I did manage to get it working fine. I could port forward, set up wireless security, and basically do anything just fine. Unfortunately, it's not completely problems free. Like others, I have and am experiencing random connection drops (it seems as if the router randomly resets), but fortunately, it did not stop the wireless from working anymore. Furthermore, the Belkin Wireless N resets extremely quickly, so it's not as big of a deal as the previous problem to me.
Now that I am able to get the router working fine, let me review the actual router itself. Here is how the Belkin Wireless N ranks in the important areas of range, speed, security, stability, and features.
1) Range - I, like many others, purchased the Belkin Wireless N for the purpose of using the wireless feature. As such, one of the most important features to me is the range. After all, I didn't purchase a wireless router just to be confined to a single room because the range wouldn't extent past the walls. So then, how does the router rank in range? I would say it is fairly good.
I live in a three story house and the router is set up on the third floor. On the third floor and the second floor, the connection power is fully strong. However, on the first floor, the range just drops tremendously. On the first floor at the best location, the number of connection bars is usually one or two, which is a big drop. I suspect that there may be electronic interference.
For what it's worth, the range does seem to be pretty excellent, which is a commendable point on the Belkin Wireless N's part.
2) Speed - Of course, what worth is the range if there is no speed? I have tested the speed using the wired connections and the wireless connections and this is another commendable part of the router. The speed is just as fast wireless as it is with wired connections and both compares favorably with my previous router (all three matches the speed advertised by my ISP).
Truthfully, I had expected some loss of speed when using wireless, so this was impressive. It should be noted, however, that I was in the optimal position for speed testing (i.e. I was sitting right next to the router), so more likely than not, there would not some loss of speed if I had performed the test, say, on another floor in my house.
Regardless, the speed factor is definitely a category the router does well in.
3) Security - The Belkin Wireless N offers ample security to protect against outside invaders jumping on your network. From the simple WEP to the much more powerful WPA2 (I chose that one, of course), it really is nice security. Furthermore, if you chose one of the more simple security, the router actually offers an extra step of further encrypting the password for you.
Personally, I did not like the second encryption, but it is a nice thought nonetheless. I rank the router well in the category of security.
4) Stability - Well, as noted by the first four paragraphs of this review, stability is the one category the Belkin Wireless N fails miserably in (that and tech support anyway). Aside from the trouble of setting up the wireless to work correctly, however, there is also the problem of random dropped connections, which is fortunately mitigated by the router's ability to reset quickly, but it is still a problem nonetheless.
Aside from these problems, however, which can be solved through a router update (if Belkin ever decides to make another update, that is), the router really does not lose much else in the area of stability.
5) Features - Another category in which the Belkin router does well. The router comes with ample features which can all be found on the router's homepage. All the basic features and many more advanced features are here for the users' desire.
Personally, I have no use for many of the extra features (aside from port forwarding), so it's not a big deal for me, but the gesture is still appreciated nonetheless.
Alright then, so out of five categories, the Belkin Wireless N does smashingly in four of them. One would think this speaks favorably of them, but lets look at the realistic side: For the vast majority of consumers, only three of those categories truly matters. Those three categories are the range, speed, and stability. The Belkin router does well in two of them, but it fails in the last one spectacularly.
Furthermore, unfortunately for Belkin, many other routers offers excellent speed and range too, so doing well in just those two categories is not necessarily enough to make it pass with flying colors. It really was crucial that Belkin made its router stable and it is unfortunate that it was unable to do this well enough.
Overall, what would be my recommendation for the Belkin Wireless N? My recommendation is this: If you're knowledgeable about computers and is willing to work at getting a slick and powerful router to work, then the Belkin Wireless N is not completely bad. However, if you're just looking for a simple wireless solution, I would recommend a better router. Belkin F5D8236-4 Wireless N 4-Port Router - Belkin - Junk - N Router - Belkin Router'

For decades I have been unable to find even a close substitute for the finest socks I have ever worn. Gold toe short, woolen "Canterbury Dress Socks" are not to be matched. I love the feel and comfort, durability, fit and looks of these fine mens socks and wear nothing but them other than tennis socks for sports. I have tried numerous other brands but only to find that I have been penny wise and pound foolish in the attempt. I am committed to Gold Toe Canterbury's for the rest of my life. Gold Toe Men's Canterbury Dress Sock, Grey Marl, 3-Pack10-13
These socks are great. I cannot find them in stores anymore. They are the right thickness for me. My feet sweat easily and if a sock is too thin, there isn't enough room for my feet to breathe inside my shoes and they sweat. Contrastingly, if a sock is too thick, they tend to be overly warm and uncomfortable as well. These socks strike the perfect balance between thickness and warmth.
I saw so many good reviews and I expected much more. I bought two packs and of the twelve socks, one had a hole in them when they were shipped. I didn't worry about it and just used the others. The socks have been through the wash approximately 5-7 times. Of the remaining eleven socks, I noticed that two of them had the elastic strings coming through and one has a hole.
I gave them two stars because they are not holding up, but, they are comfortable. A lot of my family members swear by gold toe socks, but, when I tried them, I expected them to last much longer than this.
I have been wearing gold toe socks for about 15 years now, but as other folks have pointed out, they don't seem to last long at all anymore. They don't seem to get holes, but the heal wears away pretty quickly (I just use them for work, no running or anything and nothing different from my older Gold Toes) I did notice that with this last set of socks I bought that they are no longer being make in the USA. I think they may have changed up the material being used at the same time.
These are not cheap socks, but who want to buy/wear cheap socks.
I have been wearing Gold Toe for over twenty years because they are comfortable and durable. Now I am buying them for my son when gift-giving time rolls around.
Gold Toe makes an excellent sock and their "Men's Canterbury Dress Sock" is no exception. The socks are remarkably comfortable. They are not thick; and although they are a bit thinner than other Gold Toe socks they will still withstand lots of wear. They almost never "bunch up" inside my shoes as I walk around and they are very much worth the price. They last longer so the long life of these socks justifies the slightly higher price.
I also like the design of the toe section actually being gold colored fabric. Amazon points out that these socks come in your choice of four different colors: black, navy blue, grey marl and brown. The safest, most conservative choice for the corporate office is the black color; but the other colors come in handy too depending on your work/play "dress code."
These socks can easily be washed in any washer or dryer--but I would heed the manufacturer's warning about not drying them at a high temperature. High temperatures in the clothes dryer cause the sock to wear out faster. The stretch nylon will stretch even more; and then these socks will become just too loose on your feet.
Please note that these are crew length socks. They will not come up your leg to the degree that some other socks will. You may consider them to be "too short." On the other hand, the socks also fit shoe sizes 7 through 12 so it's almost one size fits all.
Overall, Gold Toe is the brand to buy if you want good quality, long lasting socks. The "Canterbury Dress Socks" for men match any attire and they can even be worn in bed on those really cold nights to keep your feet warm!
Highly recommended! May you wear them in good health! SMILE
Great pair of socks. Good thick material and fits well. I like how the sock is big and comes half way up the shin. The only thing is that the ankle part in mine don't match my ankle and come out of the shoe...maybe a should try a smaller size...Still, very good socks...will buy more... - Comfort - Crew - Cotton - Gold Toe'

Cult Classic - jennifer aniston, dvd
I'm not sure it is essential to have worked in an office to enjoy this film, but I'm certain it will hit home for those who have. The movie was a complete bust at the box office, which utterly mystifies me, because it is hysterically funny and reflects the experience of millions of people across the United States (and I assume elsewhere). In an age where companies are seeking to lay off workers at any possible opportunity, this film has perhaps even more relevance now than it did when it came out in 1999.The humor of the film works on multiple levels, but for me so much of it is funny with a twist of the knife, for much of the humor hints at a much more serious fact: modern work is genuinely dreadful and alienating. Perhaps many office workers love their job, but I hate mine, and I assume that I am merely one of millions. No one in this film has a meaningful job. Even Lumbergh, though the boss, has an absurd position. Peter Gibbons is at least able to be honest about the ridiculousness of his plight during the incredibly funny sequence in which he is hypnotized. The film is a collection of many, many wonderful moments. I started laughing from the second that Peter Gibbons gets trapped in the traffic jam and is passed by an old man on a walker, and didn't stop until the very end. The film is a parade of very funny bits, from Michael Bolton and his passion for gangsta rap to Joanna's boss urging her to wear more flair (played by director Mike Judge) to Peter's neighbor who would yell at him through the walls to Peter's bizarre fantasy in which Lumbergh is making love to Joanna holding a cup of coffee in one hand and her ankle in the other to virtually any conversation involving Lumbergh and Milton. Some of the humor is a bit too broad. For instance, although I defy anyone not to find Milton's sequences funny as heck, they don't fit in quite as neatly with the satire of the rest of the film. I wouldn't, however, want to trade them in for a tighter movie. In a way, this movie has made my life easier to live. I suspected my job was absurd before seeing this film. Now I know it is. But somehow knowing the truth makes it easier to get through the day. Office Space (Widescreen Edition)
This movie made an almost "psychic" connection with me... the first time I saw it, I had just come home from my nightmare job -- many of the same things depicted in the movie had happened to me that very day, including the printer jam with that exact message "Error - PC Load Letter", while trying to print a report that was already late (what the heck does that message mean, anyway?!). I related so well to this movie's honest, astute, and technically correct observations of office culture in the 90's, that the brilliantly original bits of commedy were almost incidental to me (I must have annoyed the heck out of my wife with outbursts like "Oh my GOD, that's so TRUE!" every two minutes). I caught some of the more subtle humor in subsequent viewings. I'll admit, the movie lost its hold on me about 2/3 in, when the main character (who had by this time become an icon to me with his new found "no fear of consequences" attitude) took a strange criminal direction, and his angst began to return. This seemed to break the consistancy. I wan't too thrilled with Jenifer Aniston's performance either, although I suppose that had more to do with her script. In any case, the second time I watched the move, none of this bothered me as much.I've since purchased the DVD, and have worn this disk out playing it for friends. I'll never get tired of this movie... even the sound track makes me laugh. It's a wonder that it didn't get better reviews, although I guess one really would have had to have experienced office politics in the 90's to fully relate (I wonder when was the last time in the 90's that Ebert heard, "Don't forget to fill in your timesheets!")Some reviewers gave it low ratings claiming that it was "lightweight"... okay, so it's no Citizen Kane, but it certainly doesn't claim to be either! Give it credit for what it is -- as a lighthearted observational commedy, it's brilliant. And that's not to say that it was a total no-brainer either... on an intelligence level, I'd rate it much higher than say... any movie ever made by the Fairley Brothers (and certainly much lower on the "obnoxious bathroom humor"-scale).It's a pretty sad testiment to the intelligence of the average North American that movies like "Me, Myself, and Irene" brought in more money than Office Space. I hope Mike Judge doesn't let this stop him from creating another gem.
If you've ever worked in a tiny cubicle, pushed papers, and fought a worthless fax machine in an attempt to earn a living, you will love this movie. OFFICE SPACE is a hilarious movie that deconstructs everything that makes an office worker's life so miserable: from morning traffic, to catch phrases (it looks like somone has the Moondays), to bosses that totally ignore their workers. This movie had a low budget, but Mike Judge is a brilliant filmmaker. He takes a relatively unknown cast and is able to milk hilarious, yet totally lifelike performances from each actor and unites everything together in a coherent conceptually comedy masterpiece (e.g. the fax-beating scene with the ganster music playing is just pure brilliance). Of course, the film says a lot about the actors as well, they don't seem to be just characters or caricatures: they seem like real people. There is no sex, relative little violence (well, there is a lot of violence toward inanimate objects), and relatively little cursing words (most of the foul language comes from the film's soundtrack). A movie that's destined to become a modern comedy classic.
If you have ever worked in a cubicle farm for a technology company, or ROFL after reading Dilbert cartoons, and know what ROFL means, you will love this movie. Mike Judge (creator of Beavis and Butthead) digs into and makes fun of the things that people hate most about their jobs, with such accuracy that he must have consulted Scott Adams himself while developing the screenplay. With company names like "Penetrode", this movie takes numerous humorous stabs at the idiocy foisted upon the modern working class by the "management class", those highly-compensated stuffed-shirts with no more qualifications than an MBA hanging on their wall. These are the people who abuse you every time you make a mistake, and try to convince you that they are really your buddy in a thinly veiled attempt to keep you submissive and cooperative. Office Space tears into the very heart of the manipulative phony friendship ploy that so many managers think of as their "brilliant" management technique. So if you're tired of being shocked every time you touch a door knob, and sick of having half a dozen different "bosses" giving you conflicting work assignments, then I highly recommend that you buy this movie and blow off some steam, before it's too late! This film is a lot of fun to watch, but if you're looking for an intellectually challenging work of art, this is not the film for you. The story is quite simple; it is a single-layer story that conveys the same information on subsequent viewing as it conveyed during the first viewing. The visual and audio elements are interesting and entertaining, but not artistic. This is a fun comedy that a lot of people can identify with, not deep social commentary. However, the social commentary that IS in the film couldn't be more timely. The DVD itself is mediocre. No extras to speak of, other than cast bios and one trailer. Transitions from one menu to another are slightly animated, and the way the DVD starts up is cute, but overall the power of the DVD medium is not utilized.Movie ------- Originality: B+ Creativity: B+ Complexity/Depth: C+ Relevance/Message: A+ Artistic Merit: C Overall Entertainment Value: ADVD ------ Transfer Quality: A Extras: C- Use of Medium: C+ - Dvd - Cult Classic - Jennifer Aniston - Movie'

Range Accessories
I bought this to eliminate the crack between the stove and the counter top where all the crumbs get stuck. This product is L shaped and although it is well made it just trades one crack for another. It sticks magnetically to the side of the stove and overlaps the counter top. I will send it back and get one that is T shaped and overlaps on both surfaces. 23" Black Stovetop Extender
This is definitely a good product. However, I guess I will say it is my own ignorance, but it only comes as one. I assumed that since there are TWO sides to a stove that two extenders would come together. Like I said though, it never says in the product info that it is a "pair" or "set" or anything so other than that it is just what I expected and wanted!
What a clever idea! I've been using this product for several months now, and the stovetop extenders work very nicely in deed. Functional as they may be, they also give the kitchen a neat and tidier appearance. They are very easy to clean (leave them attached or remove them, and wipe with a damp cloth), and mine fit perfectly. A great, attractive addition to any kitchen...
I noticed that a couple review stated that you only receive one extender. This merchant definately includes TWO extenders as stated.
I bought the stovetop extenders due to others that cook in my kitchen. When others are cooking they don't care about the spills next to the stove that slide down between stove and cabinet. Now, with the extenders food spills are not able to get in those cracks.
This product solved my problem and was exactly what I needed. No more gaps, no more food dropping on the floor and sides. Fits snuggly. Thank you!
This merchant is the only one that sells the different colors and sizes. It really works and is much better than the the T-shaped ones sold at home improvement stores. Try it.
Stovetop Extender SE23BL 23 Inch Stovetop Extender - Black
I really wish I could remodel my kitchen and put in a built in range but until then, these are the next best thing. It's an "L" shaped cover that magnetizes to your range and covers that gap between your range and the counter top. It's very low profile so I don't even notice it at all anymore. It definitely keeps grease splatters and crumbs from falling down into the dark abyss between the stove and counter, but I don't think this will keep big spills from dripping down into it.
I loved mine so much I bought a set for my husband's best friend, who up until then, was using electrical tape to cover that gap and he loves them too!'

Iphone Clock Alarm - ipod dock system, iphone dock
I wanted to replace my clock radio for one that charges my iPod Touch & has decent sound. After sampling several models at the Apple Store & researching online, I picked this one. As a note, there is a previous model of this unit & there are some major differences. Since both are still available as of 1/14/10, you might want to decide which one works better for you. The differences are:
-The old one was shorter, designed for regular ipods. The Touch & the iPhone stuck out higher then the radio, which meant when reaching for the snooze or other buttons, you may hit the iphone/touch and knock it off.
-The old one has a smaller clock display.
-The old one had a BETTER ipod dock. It actually had a rest behind where the ipod stands, which could be adjusted from the back to go in or out. This to me was an amazing & rather unique solution.
The one I bought, the new one described in this item listing, has a bigger clock display & is taller so the touch and iphone no longer stick out on top. However, the dock no longer has the adjustable backrest like the older model. Instead, it comes with 2 plates, one for the iphone, one for the Touch. If you have another ipod, you'll have to bring your own dock plate.
The main problem with this dock plate solution is that my Touch doesn't fit with the protective case on (I use an Agent 18). Since taking the Touch out of the case everyday is not something I wish to do, I have to use this without any dock plates. The problem with that is the only support the Touch has is the dock port. This is obviously not a good thing in the long term. It makes using the Touch while it is docked a 2 hand operation; one to stabilize the Touch & keep it from pushing back & the other hand to make the adjustments. This is doubly frustrating since they had a much better docking solution in the older model.
I plan on glueing a piece of foam or other material on the radio behind where the Touch would be to support it.
Even with this caveat, I would still recommend this Sony. The price to benefit ratio, to me at least, is great. The sound quality and clock radio functions are excellent, especially when you factor in the price you paid.
Things I like:
-Excellent sound
-Lots of options for the clock radio; 2 alarms, different days of the week, can wake up to ipod, buzzer, or clock.
-Sleep function also works with listening to iPod
-Comes with external AM & FM antennas. Picks up stations I listen to without a problem.
-Electronic tuning for radio stations with presets
-Plays Pandora & other sound apps through the system also
-Buzzer for alarm works great. Starts off slow and low volume. Then increases in intensity after every hit of the Snooze bar.
-Clock auto sets & remembers time if unplugged. Only have to set time zone when you first set it up.
-Remote works with iPod and has decent range.
Things I don't like:
-Docking solution is a regression compared to the older model
Overall, I recommend this unit. If you don't use a case with your iPhone or Touch, than it would get 5 stars, IMO. Sony ICFCS10iP Speaker Dock with Alarm Clock and Radio for iPod/iPhone (Black)
Like the previous reviewer, I also went to a brick and mortar store to buy the previous model, which was on the display, but the inventory was for this unit, billed as a slightly newer replacement unit by Sony. This unit fixes two complaints from the previoous model: 1) the Iphone no longer sits above the snooze button; 2) the clock is far less cluttered and the display is larger and easier to see.
What really amazed me when I took it home and set it up was the sound quality. I currently have the Ihome IP9 and IP99. One of my IP9 units failed after about 10 months, so I bought this Sony unit to replace it. This unit is so much better in sound quality than the Ihome! I can't believe how great the sound is from such a small and inexpensive device. In addition, my Iphone fits snugly into this unit without any adapters, and I do not have to remove my protective case to properly dock it. I think Sony fixed the majority of complaints quite successfully with this new unit, and I am very pleased to have purchased it. I strongly recommend it over the Ihome units.
I bought this sony ipod speaker/alarm clock because I recently purchased an Iphone 3GS and wanted something for the bedroom with GSM shielding that would charge my phone as I listened. The form and price of this Sony unit are quite reasonable and everything is easy to use. It interfaces perfectly with the Iphone and there is no buzzing sound at all. The remote is easy to use and has all the expected functionality. Alarm function was intuitive and easy to use. I really like the way this dock holds my Iphone, it is more secure than most docks I have owned or used and I can leave my case on and still get a secure fit.
I returned this unit within a week because I was unhappy with the sound. I'm not an audiophile but I have several fairly good products I use with my Ipod and Iphone; Bose Sounddock, JBL On Stage, Logitech audiostsation express, Shure E2C, and Ultimate Ears Superfi 5. The Sony does not come close in sound to any of these and it is similarly priced to the JBL and Logitech. The Sony plays loud and clear enough, but cymbals were no where near clear and the bass sounded terrible. Drums sounded like someone was hitting a plastic bucket with a 2x4. I tend to think it is because the speakers are not ported. I wasn't expecting perfect sound, but the player it was replacing (due to incompatibility with the Iphone)was a JBL On Stage (small speaker port if you look carefully) that sounded much better and was similarly priced (the new On Stage with GSM shielding is significantly more expensive). Another small problem I have is that the speaker grill seems to be made of plastic and can easily be bent to hit the speaker.
For less money I went with the Ihome IP99 which has significantly better sound (speakers are ported) and more or less all the same features. One improvement is the ability to dim the clock all the way to off so you can have total darkness at night. - Ipod Dock - Iphone Dock - Ipod Dock System - Iphone Clock Alarm'

Garmin Nuvi 200w Carryng Case - nuvi case, garmin
The Garmin leather carrying case is a decent travel compainion and a perfect fit for the Nuvi 370, 360, 350, 310, 300 and also the new 270, 250, and 200.
After purchasing the new Garmin Nuvi 200, and quickly realizing it didn't come with a carrying case, I purchased this product. The quality black leather make this both appealing to the eye and durable however this is a slide-type case, so it is constantly open on one end. A nice feature would have been some type of zipper or velcro closure so the Garmin GPS unit could be fully enveloped within the case. It has a snug fit so I haven't had any problems with it slipping out yet but I do find myself constantly checking to make sure my Nuvi 200 is properly placed inside the case.
I would have preferred a little more padding with it too. The case is made up of thin leather on all sides with very little padding to protect against accidental drops. It would have been nice to have some more cushion for those clusmy moments we've all expercienced.
This case seems to be designed more for protection against scratches and to shield the LCD screen against accidental scrapes.
Still, I give this carrying case three stars because of it's price, duarability, and sleek leather appearance. Garmin 3.5-Inch Carrying Case
This case is very nice leather, with a firm (probably plastic) insert that protects the scrren. We had one shattered screen, so this seems like just what the Dr. Ordered. The fit is snug which is great, so the unit won't slip out even if you hold it from different angles.
The Nuvi 350 (and possibly the other Nuvis) comes with a leather case, so you don't need to order it separately.
The 350 also comes with both car & AC chargers and dash & windshield mounts.
All these accessories that come with the Nuvi have worked fine. The leather seems to be of good quality, and the Nuvi slips into it easily.
Very well made leather case which fit my Nuvi 270 perfectly. I used this extensively during a recent trip and the case helped protect the Nuvi against scratches, dings, dents, and weather (though not waterproof). A very good way to protect your Nuvi investment. Does exactly what it advertises to do.
This product has very nice touch and eye appeal. It's slightly different from and better quality than (it appears to be) in the image on the page at Amazon.
If you decide to buy it, be aware that it is a cushioned sleeve into which the nuvi slides, not really a full, closed case. It is fairly snug, but I do not know how well it would protect the unit if dropped, particularly on the open side.
I like it though, and it's fine to protect the screen when I store it in the glove compartment or center console, or in a coat pocket.
Strictly from a functional standpoint though, you can get one of those little Velcro cases they make for digital cameras, for about a third the price. But this case makes you feel nice. So there IS that.
Added 12/23/08 - I see that the image of the sleeve has been updated. It does look like this image, and I'm still happy with mine.
To be accurate this is not a review of the case itself but a red flag to all you Garmin widescreen GPS owners. Both Amazon and ANTonline recommend this case for the 4.3 widescreen unit when it's at east 3/4" to short to protect the screen. I informed both Amazon and ANTOnline and they still have not corrected the recommendation. So people are buying it
with the wrong impression. I tried to have ANTOnline either accept it back as a return or an exchange for the correct case (see Garmin website for the correct case)but they ignored all my requests until they finally emailed me to tell me they contacted Garmin who will work with me to correct the matter. Regardless of why Garmin should be responsible for their mistake, I called Garmin and asked them if ANTOnline had contacted them.
They claimed they never heard from them but were willing to send me the correct case for free. So within a week's time I received my new case from Garmin. Three cheers for Garmin! Three boos for Amazon and ANTOnline.
I bought this case for my Nuvi 650 to protect the screen. While my unit technically does "fit" in the case, only about two-thirds of the screen is covered. The rest just sticks out of the top of the rather small case.
If you want to protect the screen I suggest a larger case.
I am happy with the Nuvi carrying case - as everyone and their grandmother have mentioned it is too short for the "W" Nuvi's but mine is a regular 260 and this case is the perfect size and at a great price. I like the look of it as well, it's not a flashy, "look at me" type of case and seems sturdy. - Garmin Nuvi 200 - Nuvi Case - Garmin Nuvi - Garmin'

Cell Phone Car Charger - droid x, droid charger
First things first: IF (and that's IF) you get the genuine OEM Motorola charger listed here, the SPN5400/P513/89143N, it works great with modern smart phones like the Motorola Droid, The Incredible, The Google Nexus One, etc. Basically, if your phone has a micro USB connector (and almost all of the newer generation smart phones do), then this is the charger for you.
That said: Not every seller is selling the right item. There are lots of reports of people getting the wrong charger (I've had this happen myself). Your best bet: Amazon, who not only IS selling the correct charger, but has the best price, when you factor in shipping, provided you qualify for free shipping from Amazon (either with Prime, or if your order is > $25).
The Amazon-as-seller listing for this charger can be found here, at least at the time of this review. Search through the sellers to find Amazon. Their price, if you get free shipping from Amazon, is the cheapest, or close to it. And you are guaranteed of getting the correct item, brand new, retail.
OK, that said, here's the rest of my review:
There are so many sketchy sellers selling phone chargers out there, that it can be a bit scary. The problem is that if the charger is poorly made, the output of the charger can be out of spec and can, in some cases, fry the phone you connect to it.
For that reason, when it comes to phone chargers, you should stick to name brands. (They are all made in China, but the name brand ones are usually subject to stricter QA).
When I found this charger on Amazon, SOLD BY AMAZON, I jumped on it. It's a MICRO USB car charger, made for Motorola and sold under the Motorola name, in retail packaging. The rated output is 4.75-5.25V and 950mA.
This charger should work fine with most any phone that uses the MICRO USB connector. The key number to pay attention to is the second one, the rated amperage. This is the MAXIMUM amount of current that the phone can request from the charger. A typical USB port on a PC provides as little as 100mA, and few provide more than 500mA. So this charger should charge your phone faster than when it's connected to a PC. A few phones out now can use up to 1000mA. But that just means they CAN use that amount. If 950mA is provided, they'll still charge, just a bit more slowly.
Note that the amperage (second number) merely tells you how much the charger CAN supply, if requested. The phone itself is responsible for asking for the current. That is to say, if this charger can provide 950mA, but your phone can only use 300mA--no problem. Your phone asks for 300mA and the charger provides all of what is requested. If, on the other hand, your phone can use 1000mA, this charger will provide all it can, which is 950mA--a wee bit less than the max asked for. That's also not a problem; it just means your phone will charge a little bit (not much in this case) more slowly. The rated voltage for this charger is presented in a range of 4.75-5.25V. The "ideal" voltage for a USB charger of any type if 5V. And most chargers for home use are rated right at 5V. But car chargers work in a noisier environment and thus you have the range. This is where a cheapo charger can really do damage, as some of them are poorly regulated and can provide voltages that are WAY out of spec. Again, when you can get a name brand charger from a seller you can trust (Amazon) for such a reasonable price, it's very foolish to consider the cheapo no-names.
This is an excellent quality name brand travel micro USB charger at a price that beats the no-name junk from third party sellers. What's not to like?
BE SURE TO ORDER IT FROM AMAZON AND NOT ONE OF THE THIRD PARTY SELLERS, as some of those have been known to make mistakes with respect to what they ship relative to the listing. I can confirm that Amazon is shipping the P513 /89143N /SPN5400 charger, as pictured.
One last note: This charger is alternatively sold as the P513, the 89143N OR the SPN5400. These numbers all refer to the same charger. A different product number is assigned depending on the channel through which the charger has been sold. But they are all the same. Iphone 4 Case
I bought my daughter an iphone 4 for Christmas and then bought this bumper case to protect it - it works great because, after months of use, the phone is still in perfect condition without a scratch on it and, for my daughter, that's a record! Bumper style case for Apple iPhone 4 16 / 32GB (Blue)
i love the color especially at night. It doesnt have that hard plastic on around it. But it snugs pretty good. So its ok for the price. The only problem i have is the seller which is slow on delivering its like 5 days after the delivery date. i contact them and they were fast resolving the problem and offer me discount but i decline it coz 20% of the amount is not worth it. They even have a free silicon case but its ugly:( i dont wanna use it :(
first of the blue at certain times looks somewhat purple. after a while it starts looking more blue though. its a really good bumper to help protect the iphone. but that being said to BIG cons about the product is that i have to take it off to charge my iphone because if i leave the case on my cable come off easier. the second con would be that the volume buttons are incredibly hard to press. but i bought this bumper a month ago and i still use it and a bunch of my friends have bought the exact same one.'
