Wallet - men, guess
well i have only owned this wallet for about two weeks, but so far im very impressed with it. I bought it at the mall for 55$, it's much cheaper on amazon(buy it here) It has quality leather, very roomy, comfortable, would make for a nice gift, or just buy it to treat yourself. It carries my drivers license, 3 other ID cards of mine, plus 3 credit/debit cards with ease. along with cash, business cards and the other stuff. Guess Men's Credit Card Trifold, Black, One Size
This is the second Guess wallet I have purchased. The first one was very similar to this one but I paid a lot more for it at a leather shop in the mall, can't remember the name of it. Anyway, that wallet served me very well for over ten years, but it was in pretty ratty shape so I decided to get a new one. To my surprise I found that I could actually fit everything from my old wallet into this new one, but it was not a bulky. I dare say that it is much easier to carry and that the credit card slots are easier to use. Give this wallet a try, I doubt that you will be disappointed with it.
I just received this wallet today. It has a lot room for credit cards and a holder for your license and insurance card. It feels very comfortable in your back pocket even though it is thicker than a regular fold. The price was great at Amazon.com since you would easily pay $40 to $50 at a store. I highly recommend this item as a gift or just for yourself.
I bought this wallet for my husband, to replace the one he'd worn to shreds. He's very happy with it. He tends to fill his wallets much fuller than most people, so this one is pretty stuffed. It's a nice quality leather and the hole detail is a rather elegant touch. It came in a really cool box that had a drawer, and I liked that too.
This is a nice wallet. Mine is a darker brown than shown in the illustration. It has lots of slots to put credit cards and other items. The only thing I don't like is that it does not stay closed well when you fill it with your cards and other things. That is a minor complaint. Otherwise I am satisfied with my purchase.
The wallet is well made and comes as described. I just wish there was a larger alternative on Amazon which could handle coins and additional cards. Minus 1 star because even with a "normal" load the trifold does not close all the way.
After 10 years it was time to get a new wallet. The Guess trifold seemed the best choice. When it came and I put my stuff in it seemed like I was sitting on something huge. To my surprise, this lasted about two days. From then on it feels no different than my old one. This is a very nice wallet and I reccomend it highly.
I got this for a guy friend for christmas and he loved it! The leather was so soft, yet seems very durable, and the design is wonderful. It didn't hold to many cards without being overloaded, so that was a downfall. But that just provides motivation for the guy to clean all the useless junk from his wallet! Highly recommend this wallet. - Guess - Trifold Wallet - Wallet - Men'

Heart Ring
The stones are smaller than they look in the picture! The sterling is much more shining though. The above both add up together, you basically only see the heart design and can't really tell that there are stones! Three Stone Diamond Heart Shape Promise Ring in Sterling Silver ( Sizes 4-9)
I bought this ring for my girlfriend. I was a little worried because the product image looked a little off-colored, but the reviews said it was much more polished than the image suggested. The reviews were right, this ring is absolutely beautiful. It arrived in a nice box and the shine on the ring was magnificent. The stones do seem a little small, but I bought the ring because I liked the heart design, which is the noticeable aspect. All-in-all a great buy that I am very satisfied with.
We got this for our 14 yr odl daughter for Christmas as a promis ring. She wears it everyday, and cherishes it. My only complaing is that the band, the part that toches the palm of her hand, has turned dark. Other than that, it was a really nice peice for a great price!
this ring arived 1 week late to my destination in florida.because of the fact that i was running a thight line with my girlfriend's birthday this was very frustrating for me.i had to get her something else in the mean while thats the only reason this product only got 4 stars. when it came i was really impressed it looked a bit smaller than the picture but really beautiful.i dont regret buying it you wont either i thinks its a good ring if its your girlfriend first ring from you.condition was good packaging bulky which i didnt mind.overall good ring bulky packaging bad shhipping'

Maybe Cds - cd, maybe cds
Eleven of the 12 songs here wonderful recordings for every collector (inclusion of the duet with Bing Crosby is a strange choice--certainly not one of Judy's finest). My quibble is that a 12-song "millennium" collection on a CD is just chintzy, especially when the songs are not extended play versions. Judy merits at least 15 to 20 songs for the past millennium, and the technology easily allows for putting that many on a disc. The Best Of Judy Garland: 20th Century Masters (Millennium Collection)
This album delivers Judy Garland in her early years (and early years ONLY). If you want the younger, crisper sound of Judy Garland, featuring primarily show tunes, then get this album.I would have given this ablum 5 stars if it included more material (there was room for more songs) and if it included some of her great performances later in her career. It is what it is. If you want a high quality recording of her early music, get this album. If you want the feel of her later performances on stage (as opposed to the sound room), then look for something else.
Good introduction to her Judy's legendary talents, but longtime fans need to know that these are the Decca versions, because it is quite possible that they already have these recordings on other discs. (For those who don't know, Judy often recorded different arrangements of songs she did in her current movies for Decca Records. These are the songs on this disc.) Enjoy, future Judy fans!
As we all must accept, there are few singers who are identified by their style in song, no matter what she sang--we knew it was Judy and it was the best. It is a rare and fine time when a song and a voice meld in perfection; let us be thankful for these marvelous recordings for eternity.
Judy Garland was a singer of tremendous emotional power. In her latter years this was reenforced by the sense of her fragility. In the early years the singing is fresher and filled with hope. The songs she sings here are among the greatest in the world's songbook, including one that is for many the greatest song of all time, her signature song, 'Over the Rainbow'.
This is one of those songs it is possible to list to over and over again. 'Embraceable you' ' You made me love me' 'Swanee' are in the same category as great classics of song.
First of all, I'd like to tip my hat to the reviewer who writes that so many of Judy's songs are not on this album--they entitled their review "Judy Was Never Geared Toward The Singles Market." It's true that while this CD offers nothing but exceptionally wonderful songs performed by the immortal Judy Garland, there's not enough music here for any record label to call this a "best of" type of album. What a shame, too! Judy and her fans deserve better than this. However, as I said this material is completely terrific (as far as it goes) and so that's pretty much that. In addition, the quality of the sound id very good and the artwork is nice even if it is somewhat standard for this CD series.
Naturally, this being Judy, there isn't a dud in the bunch on this album. I love every song! "Over The Rainbow" from "The Wizard of Oz" is a Decca Records recording; it's not the movie soundtrack recording but it's still quite pretty and Judy never sounded better! "I Got Rhythm" charms me and Judy sings this with tons of positive energy; and listen for another gem in "Dear Mr. Gable: You Made Me Love You" from "Broadway Melody of 1938." Judy sings this with her voice as clear as a bell and that's grand.
"Meet Me in St. Louis" comes from the film of the same name; Judy sings this faultlessly. "Embraceable You" is a fine Gershwin tune that only Judy Garland could sing so very well as she does here; and the musical arrangement fits in perfectly with her vocals. "Yah-Ta-Ta- Yah-Ta-Ta (Talk, Talk, Talk)" has Judy with Bing Crosby for this sweet and playful duet; they really sound terrific together! I love it. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" also comes from the film "Meet Me in St. Louis;" Judy sings this beautifully with genuine emotion and you can hear it in her voice.
"For Me and My Gal" is a brilliant gem that Judy loved to sing with many other songs in the years when she gave us so her wonderful concerts; and "But Not for Me" is another Gershwin ballad that showcases Judy Garland's talent. "The Trolley Song" is pure bliss to hear; I thoroughly enjoy this number which is classic in every way. "Swanee" is a song Al Jolson often sang but I think he definitely would have approved of Judy's rendition of this song. The CD ends with "On The Atchison, Topeka And The Santa Fe" from "The Harvey Girls;" it's wonderful in every way and I like how they gave us a part of the track that includes a few others singing as well.
Judy may have left us all too soon; but she obviously lives on through her CDs and her movies both on DVD and VHS. This is a must-have for fans of Judy; but please keep in mind that this is early Judy only and a great deal of her best work is not included here. I will give this four stars, however, because even though this CD is far from complete, Judy's singing and that music are sublime and that's truly very special.
I traveled to many stores in the area looking for a CD of Judy Garland and some of the older stars recordings, to no avail. Then someone told me about Amazon.com, so I got online and there they were! I ordered two of the many choices for a gift for my elderly Aunt and she was so happy to get them! Thanks Amazon.....Vivian
From her initial hit single Over The Rainbow in September 1939 (# 5) from her film The Wizard Of Oz, to her last in 1954, The Man That Got Away (# 22 that September) from the film A Star Is Born, she only registered 17 hit singles, 15 with Decca and the last two for Columbia. And in this volume you get just seven of them, as tracks 2, 3, 5, 9 and 11 were never hits for Judy.
In addition to Over The Rainbow, on which she was accompanied by the Victor Young orchestra, this gives you: a duet with Gene Kelly, For Me And My Gal (from the film of the same name), which went to # 3 in February 1942; The Trolley Song (# 4), Meet Me In St. Louis, Louis (# 22), and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (# 27) - all in late 1944 and all from the film Meet Me In St. Louis and all backed by Georgie Stoll's orchestra; another duet, this time with Bing Crosby, on the humorous Yah-Ta-Ta, Yah-Ta-Ta (Talk, Talk, Talk) which, with the backing of Joe Lilley's orchestra, went to # 5 in June 1945; and On The Atcheson, Topeka, And The Santa Fe\, a # 10 in October 1945 from the film The Harvey Girls, backed by The Merry Macs and Lyn Murray's orchestra.
Left out, and which would have been better choices in a volume titled "best of" than the five tracks mentioned above, were any from among these Decca cuts: I'm Nobody's Baby, a # 3 in August/September 1940 with Bobby Sherwood's orchestra backing from the film Andy Hardy Meets Debutante; the flipside to Me And My Gal and another duet with Kelly, When You Wore A Tulip (And I Wore A Big Red Rose), which reached # 19 in April 1942; Zing! Went The Strings Of My Heart, a # 22 in July 1943 with Victor Young's orchestra from the Broadway Revue "Thumbs Up"; the March 1944 # 25 A Journey To A Star from the film The Girls He Left Behind, with Georgie Stoll's orchestra; This Heart Of Mine, a # 22 in May 1945; Wait And See, a # 24 in March 1946, also from The Harvey Girls; You'll Never Walk Alone from Carousel, a # 21 in June 1946 with Lyn Murray's orchestra; and a duet with Dick Haymes, For You, For Me, Forevermore, from the film The Shocking Miss Pilgrim, which reached # 19 in January 1947.
After that last hit with Decca, she next turned up at Columbia, and in July 1953 had Without A Memory go to # 29 backed by Percy Faith's orchestra, followed by the above-mentioned The Man That Got Away.
Despite the omissions and the inclusion of those 5 tracks this is still one of the better entries from the Millenium Collection with 3 pages of liner notes by Joseph F. Laredo, a partial discography of the contents [no chart information], and several more nice photographs of Judy. I just wish that producer Andy McKaie had seen fit to include some of those missing hit singles. He certainly had room to do so. - Maybe Cds - Cd'

I love them. It's the most lightweight and warm winter boots, that I've ever had. They very comfortable. But... It made me very, very upset. After only two times worn the sole on one boot has broken. Just has cracked... I don't know what to do with this now. It's quite expensive boots, so... I am upset. Tecnica Women's Moon Boot Cold Weather Fashion Boot,Brown,45-47 EU (11-13 M US Women's)
These boots are awesomely warm and very cute! They have a very nice lacing system which makes them mold to your feet. Just becareful to pick your feet up when walking on carpeted floors, as u will trip from time to time from the grip! =)I have even worn these without socks to make a run and my feet stayed warm and comfortable!
PS I also have big legs and they slouch down comfortably as well, but not too much or they will be a bit more bulky!
Just spent four days in Berlin, Germany. The weather was really cold and there was snow everywhere on the streets. We spent most of the days doing tourism, walking the city from one place to another. I was lucky I could borrow a pair of these from my brother in law, saved my life. Not sure why it says here they're for women. They're clearly for both women and men, IMO.
They're super easy to wear, and really comfortable. Keep your feet warm and totally dry. They're also very comfortable and allow you to walk a lot without issues. Now I'm thinking about buying a pair, although I will mostly not need them in Western Washington weather except when we go to the snow.
About the reviewer who says the soles are too thin, these boots are to be worn on snow, where their soles won't suffer as much wear. About not having any foot support, that's another thing I love about them. You feel like walking barefoot, which is great, IMO.
These boots are super cute and very warm! Very light There is no support for the instep so in spite of the comfy inside my feet were in pain after an hour. I remedied this with added arch inserts. The soles on these boots are soooo thin! After 1 day the soles were evidently worn. I had to remedy this with some added Yaktrax. I swear I would rather pay a little more for a boot I could wear for longer than a few weeks!
After adding insoles and Yaktrax I ended forking out an extra $50. I was able to save the boots so I could wear them longer. - Tecnica - Glitter - Moon Boots - Snow Boots'

Belts
Very soft and supple leather - much higher quality than other belts in this price range. Solid workmanship. Flexible style makes it suitable for either dress or casual wear. After two months of nearly continuous usage, no evidence of splitting, creasing or wear. Excellent value! Dockers Men's 32mm Feather Edge Reversible Belt,Brown/Black,36
The brown side has a nice appearance, but the black side is not glossy like the brown side. I would buy a size over if you like the extra length at the end. I'm a 34, and bought a 34. I'm somewhere at the last hole/ 2nd to last hole.
Belt feels and looks nice. Changing it between colors requires a bit more effort than other reversible belts I have owned. I was afraid of maybe pulling it too hard but eventually it does move. As others have mentioned, you should buy one size up from your waist size. My waist is a 31, but I am using the second to last hole on the 32 belt. Still good enough, but if I happen to pack on some pounds later it won't follow me :P
I usually don't care about which belt I use. However, this is a very soft comfortable belt.
I travel quite a bit and having the reversable belt makes it easier to have one less item to bring.
It is stylish and holds up well. The edges don't fray like previous belts. I have had it for about 6 months.
Some reviewers suggest buying a size larger than your waist. That wasn't my experience-I measured the belt and it was exactly the size stated at the "tightest" hole on the belt. So even if I was 4" larger at the waist, I would have been fine. I'm more worried that I'll lose a few pounds and have to drill an extra hole in the belt. The belt's quality is very good-no need to pay $30 at other places (I'm looking at you, L.L. Bean) for a belt that doesn't look like it was on special at Walmart. I bought two belts and am very happy with both the quality and the price.
I've owned several reversible belts, none very satisfying. This has well-made hardware, surprisingly supple leather, and I find both sides equally attractive. You could pay $30.00 for this and not feel ripped-off.
I got this for my 32 year old son for Christmas. He really loves it, says not having to search for either a black or brown belt in the morning is wonderful. It is a nice looking belt with a conservative buckle.
It's not a really great belt, but it also does not have the really great belt price. Looks nice, fits well, reverses easily. When I ordered this, I wore a size 40 pants and ordered a size 40 belt, figuring it would fit OK, then I would shrink into it. While the belt does say size 40, I used the middle notch. Now that I am size 38, it's at the lowest setting. So I do not know what the deal is with people saying one should order a belt that is one size up.
It's 100% leather with one side being a nice dark brown and the other side being black.
It's very easy to switch back and forth, takes seconds so it's really nice for any look
whether wearing black or brown. The quality is very good for the price!'

Ryobi Battery Charger - ryobi 18 volt battery, battery pack
I have mixed feelings about the two 18v batteries I bought to replace the Ryobi batteries that were included with the charger in a 7 power tool package that I purchased 5 years ago. I'm happy enough with the batteries but I think the price is exorbitant. One week after I bought these on Amazon I discovered that Home Depot had a Ryobi 2 tool combo with 2 batteries and a charger for less than I paid for the batteries. I realize Ryobi must practically give the tools away in order to lock customers like myself into the dilemma of either throwing away perfectly good tools or paying the incredibly jacked-up prices for the batteries every few years. Same dilemma coincidentally occurs with replacement razor blades, automatic tooth brush heads, and numerous other products. Can't help thinking that in the last 30 years, corporate marketing strategy has been taken over by lawyers. 18.00V, 1500mAh,Ni-Cd,Replacement RYOBI Power Tools Battery for RYOBI CID-1802P, CTH1802K, FL1800, HP1802M, MS180, R1063, R1073K2, RJC180, SS180, Compatible Part Numbers: 1322401, 1323303, 1400672, B-1815-S, 1322705,130224007,130256001, - 18v Battery - Ryobi 18 Volt Battery - Lithium-ion - Battery Pack'

This is the sixth Scotch Mailing tape I've used and I love them. I've started using this tape for packages instead of the large handheld roller. This tape rips much easier off the roller, is stronger and has less problems twisting. I've had no problems ripping the tape off the attached cutter - never had to use scissors.
The larger handheld tape roller would twist up on itself and it drove me crazy. These are much easier to use.
Pros:
Very strong
Easy to rip off the cutter
Does not fold up on itself
Less waste
Easier to hold than a large roller
Lightweight
Easier to apply tape
Cons
A little pricer than the larger rolls but I use less and don't waste any because it never twists or folds Scotch Moving and Storage Tape, 2 x 800 Inches (165)
Scotch Brand Moving and Storage Tape delivers quality stickiness that holds tight, cuts easily and stays clear. I even use it for mailing packages to my Army son, which arrive in great shape. I haven't had any problems or complaints.
I use this tape especially when I have to send boxes back to the stores during the holiday season. This tape is perfect for sealing boxes and is accepted by the post office. The tape is also good for anything you need to keep closed, it stays sealed until you remove it. - E-reader - Shipping Tape - Scotch - Kindle'

Telescopic Fishing Rod
Took this rod on multistate, multicondition fishing trip. Used for deep trolling 100 feet, trolling shallow, bass casting, and trout fishing. Excellent control on casting around objects and around corners. Caught many bass and trout. Good for intense light load travel. Would be nice if it came with travel cases and a clip for holding eyelets together during travel. Eagle Claw Pack-It Telescopic Spincast Fishing Rod
We always keep a few fishing poles in the back of the pick up . . . this always leads to broken rods and a tangel mess. With this retracktabel rod we can keep it up front in the cab. It also is great to put in your backpacks when hiking into a spot.
After the kids and I recieved our eagle claw telescopic fishing rod we took it out of the package and played with it.. We really think dad is going to love it for christmas. Went to Cabelas (onsite store) and discovered that they carried the eagle claw brand so we were really happy with that. Ya ya ya.. well while were were there DH noticed these tiny icefishing rods and said he wouldnt mind one of those for taking on the 4whlr... the kids and I just looked at each other and ducted out heads and smiled.. hehehehe...'

Great Deal - great price, great deal
I own two winches for my snow plow, on my 4 wheeler. The winches work so well, and are very dependible. The only problem I had was the switch works erratic after a couple years of use. Took the switch apart cleaned up the burnt contacts and the winch worked like new. The winch is worth the money I payed for It. Champion Power Equipment 12002 2000-lb Power Winch Kit
For the price I guess I got what I paid for , First this winch is built for ATV use. The battery cable is all of 5 feet long.
The remote is made to mount on handle bars and you cant remove the Mounting hardware if you aren't going to use it on an ATV.
Also the remote cable is very short 5 feet or less, so no getting out of the way of a snapped cable with out addin some wire to it.
When I went to put the clevis on and I put it in free wheel to pull some cable out the whole spool unraveled , what a mess , I guess I never expected steel cable to unwind like a spring. with no manual handle I now have to hook this up to something heavy and drag it back so I can rewind the spool.
But like I said for the money and free shipping probably a good deal.
The installation of this winch was easy. I wished it would have been made in USA. It is a light duty winch. It will be on a 4 wheeler and not a tractor or truck, so it will probably work fine. I liked the remote leads and buttons for operation. The leads were long and the controls mounted easily to the handle bars. The cable is prewrapped with tension, so the first time you free wheel the winch to use the cable will act like a Rod and Reel spool full of line unravelling.
I bought this winch to pull a 900-lb waverunner out of the water. The winch pulled it a few inches out then stalled. I then added a block to reduce the effective weight to 450-lbs. It would run for 2 seconds then stall. I sent it back and ordered a superwinch from costco.com that works great. Also not to happy that I only got a partial refund after spending hours trying to make the Champion work. Realistically it would pull about 250 lbs. If that is all you need to do, then perhaps it will work for you.
I replaced the manual wench on my pop up camper and it works great. Saves me a lot of effort when setting up camp.
Installation was easy I wired the hand held controller through a four pole trailer connector and keep it inside the camper when not in use. The wench is connected to the house battery on the camper.
Other units made for this purpose were over 200$ this was a vary reasonable alternative. The only difference I see is the dedicated units have shut off points when the roof is fully raised. You have to be careful to be sure to stop the wench when the roof is fully raised.
I bought this winch to replace the winch on my homeowner snowplow, knowing it was not going to mount correctly, because the winch that came with my plow was a real piece of junk. it turns out a couple of new holes in mounting plate is all it needed to attach securely. this unit worked for better than the one that came with my plow. it's smoother, much quieter, and was less than half the price. I've only had the chance to use it a few times, but so far, it's been great. smooth, quiet, and strong enough to hold the plow up without slipping. we'll seen in a couple more years. - Winch - Great Deal - Great Price - Winches'

Cordless Drills - cordless drill, cordless drills
I purchased this drill along with a Makita BDF452 and gave both a workout in my garage. My test used 2"x6" pressure treated lumber. My goal was to test power, battery endurance and comfort of use. With both drills, I drilled qty (10) 1" spade bit holes, qty (20) 3/8" bit holes and sunk qty (75) 2" drywall screws. My hand and arm were tired so I quit, but suffice it to say, neither drill quit, so I called battery endurance test a tie. I believe the Bosch had slightly more power and speed, but the Makita had plenty of both for my needs. Both drills gave your arm a good twist when the spade bit would catch and hold. In a close race, I declared the Bosch the winner in power category. The Makita was clearly a more comfortable drill to use. It fit my hand well and the trigger was easy to use. The Bosch handle is configured at a bit of an angle and while using the spade bit the back of the drill seemed to press into my hand. Also, during use my finger naturally moved to the bottom of the trigger and it became a bit uncomfortable. Both drills are very well built and neither got hot during my tests. At the end of the day I preferred the Makita because it was slightly smaller (about 3/4" shorter) and clearly had a more comfortable grip position during use. Bosch 36618-02 18-Volt 1/2-Inch Compact-Tough Litheon Drill/Driver with 2 Slim Batteries
Great drill! I am Contractor and currently own the 36v Bosch litheon drill (Dewalt XRP before that), but I got tired of using it for smaller projects like hanging doors and installing cabinets due to it's bulky size and weight. I now find myself using this drill for everything. It has an excellent power to weight ratio and is very smooth/refined. I have the slim pack batteries and they hold a good charge. I will still keep the 36V around but it may end up collecting dust. I have only owned the 18v for two weeks now so I can't comment on it's long term reliability, but I have used it for sinking numerous 3" deckmates into framing lumber, speedbores, small holesaws, backerboard screws, and other fasteners. I can't comment on it's mixing ability (mortar and other cement mixtures), but that's what electric corded drills are for. As an every day user, I am very happy with this purchase.
Used it to build 4 picnic tables from Rockler plans in a college class. Four work crews, 3 days, hundred of screws in green treated lumber, one charge. Amazing torque, did not need to recharge. Students are Construction management majors and future shop teachers. They were impressed, as was I. Preschoolers came and helped assemble the tables (donated to their preschool) and the clutch worked well to allow the screw to be driven to the correct depth. I love this drill. Oh, and the light is sweet when working in dim areas.
Super tool! I usually don't brand-buy, but my garage seems to be collecting a lot of blue-green and red tools. I have a Bosch RO sander and jigsaw now, and I think they are both top notch. This cordless drill fits right in with the other quality tools. Background: I use this tool for light to heavy work (fine woodworking, drywall, rough carpentry, make holes in 4x4 joists with spade bits to run electrical cable).
The drill is very slender compared to my old (got it three years ago) cordless Craftsman. I can drill in tighter spaces now without having to use my 90 degree attachment. The size reduction also means a lighter tool, which is very deceptive; this drill has some serious power. Nothing like a corded drill but still... The power of the 18 volt is impressive to say the least. I love the 30-minute charge time for the baterries. I fully anticipate solely using this drill thoughout an entire day-long project.
The ratcheting lock it GREAT! I put in a bit and tighten it down with a ratchet lock. This feature has given me the utmost confidence that a bit will never again slip again.
The price is kind of up there compared to competitors, but you get a whole lot of quality with this purchase. Highly recommend!
I purchased the Bosch to replace another 18v that stopped working. I was impressed with the balance, lightweight (compaired to a NiCa) and the exceptional sensitivity of the variable speed contol. I also like the led light under the A good quality product. Negative features are a poorly designed bit holder (it doesn't work!) and no belt hook. Other than that a great quality tool
Recently I needed to purchase a new drill for work, and chose this one for several reasons. First and foremost, I own several Bosch tools and I already know that when I buy Bosch I won't be disappointed. The craftsmanship and functionality of their tools is top notch, and this one is no exception. The second reason I chose this drill was due to the Lithium Ion battery pack. If you can get the same juice out of a smaller and lighter package, why not? With this drill in my hand I felt like I was holding an older 12v model, but with the power of an 18v. I'll never use Ni-MH again. What surprised me more than anything else though, is the way the battery holds power. With older drills, as the battery loses power, so does the drill. This drill works at full power until the battery is drained, allowing you to work at full capacity until its time to change batteries. The final reason I chose this drill was for the torque rating. Simply put, I like power, and its better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. At this price point and combination of features, this was the most powerful drill available when I made my purchase. I find myself actually using the different torque and speed settings based on the job I am doing instead of just putting it on the highest setting and hoping I've got enough power. I'm probably going to get one of these for the house really soon even though I've got a perfectly fine cordless drill already. I like it that much.
Bought this drill after returning the 14.4V Black and Decker. My first thought was to spend about $70-$80 for a drill. I quickly learned while constructing a wooden swing set that the Black and Deck was not a very good tool and went back and spent an extra $60 bucks to get this tool. The difference was amazing, this drill just feels stronger and better made (the BD felt like it was made of plastic and this one felt like it was made of metal). Grat power and torque, nice size, quick bit changes--plus the chuck locks with a "click" so you know its locked (the BD chuck couldn't even keep the drill bits in place). All in all I was very happy with this purchase, its the type of tool you just hold and know its a quality tool. BUY this drill!! - Cordless Drill - 18 Volt - Cordless Drills - Lithium-ion'

Benchtop Planers - planer, dw735
I was one of the first to get the DW734 from Amazon. Other than the 3-knife head (with 2-sided disposable blades instead of resharpenable) and some styling details, the 734 planer appears to be identical to the previous model, the 733. I haven't been able to get any detailed info on changes between the two models from any source I researched. It was set up right on the money out of the box except that the cut depth gage is off by around 1/128" (not enough to matter). I was pleased that it came with a dust hood (4"), something not listed in any of the info I was able to get before the purchase. The cut is silky smooth--unless you look very closely in bright light on a darker wood surface (like walnut) you can't see any blade marks at all.The machine functions very well--easy to set up, the controls operate very smoothly and precisely, and each of the features works as expected without needless fiddling. The dust hood, even though only 4", clears chips and dust very efficiently. The only time any chips escaped was when I tried to take 1/8" off of a 6" board (a no-no according to the owner manual), and then I got a little puff of shavings out the feed end. (My setup is a Jet DC1100CK 1 1/2 HP dust collector connected via a 6" shop duct system, blast gate, 6" flex pipe and a reducer to the 734's 4" dust port.)I did have problems with a little snipe when attempting to take more than 1/32 inch in a pass--I may be able to adjust this out of the planer, but I often make two passes anyway: one to thickness and one to surface.I was surprised to have several small nicks in the blades after planing perhaps 8-10 bf of scrap (carefully inspected/cleaned beforehand), probably due to contaminants in/on the boards. In one case a small knot apparently made a nick. This was disappointing as the planer only comes with 1 set of knives and a new set is fairly expensive. Two passes at the same thickness setting makes the nick traces all but vanish, but this means passing the wood thru the planer 3 times to avoid snipe and nick traces. Perhaps the nicks were a result of embedded sand or silica in the particular scraps used, not something that will happen on a regular basis. (Although my Jet jointer didn't take any nicks when I jointed the same scraps.)It appears to have the same fit and finish as the more expensive the Delta 2-speed, but the 734 is lighter and more portable. But I'm told the Delta unit is less prone to snipe. I chose the 734 over the 733 because of its disposable knives (I don't have a very trustworthy sharpening service near me) and because of the 3-knife head, which should save me some sanding. If those things aren't important to you, the older 733 might be a better value, while supplies last.Based on my short experience, I'd recommend the 734. I withheld 1 star because of the snipe and nick problems. DEWALT DW734 15 Amp 12-1/2-Inch Benchtop Planer
I purchased this machine about six months ago after being extremely impressed with my neighbor's DeWalt DW733 planer.
After just a few uses with some Pine boards, I felt that something wasn't quite right. After calling DeWalt and explaining the problem best I could, they were stumped and suggested I take it to my local DeWalt service center, which happened to be just a few miles from my house. After a week or two, the said they had found nothing wrong with it. After testing it upon return, I could definitely tell that something had been fixed, tightened, adjusted, whatever. It worked great for a very short time after that on Pine and Cypress boards, but more problems began developing. Dull blades seemed to be the culprit, so I attempted to flip them. But guess what -- one of the blades had already been flipped! I replaced all the blades with new ones and the difference in performance is incredible. It is now the wonderful machine that impressed me so much at my neighbor's. But I'm puzzled as to why my blades needed replacing after very little usage on soft lumber.
Quality control seemed to have skipped my machine for some reason, but now that the bugs are gone (I hope), this is a great planer. I'd give it 5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 for the bugs I had to deal with. One other quality control problem: the data sticker on my machine says it's a DW735 13" Thickness Planer! The folks at DeWalt sure were shocked and confused at that big oversight.
By the way, buy or build a stand for this machine. I built a 2-tool, flip-top stand for about $50. Unless you always have a helper handy, you can forget about moving it on a regular basis. Besides, the vibration tends to move the machine if not bolted down.
Lastly, buy hearing protection. Unless you're already deaf, you'll need it.
UPDATE: After about a year of use, this planer continues to be a wonderful machine. However, be warned that the blades dull very quickly. My neighbor owns the DW733 model and he is still on his original set of blades after 2-3 years of use while I'm on #3 after one year of use. We both generally plan the same stuff at the same frequency of usage using only a 1/64" cut with each feed. With replacement blades at $50 a set, this can get very expensive.
Hats off to Dewalt on this one. I purchased this planer about mid Dec. (3 weeks ago) I have use it several times, mostly on 3/4" maple with a few other matrls. thrown in. It has performed wonderfully. The dust collection shute is a big plus and works fairly well with my heavy duty shop vac. I suspect it will work even better with a good dust collector of 500 or more cfm.(My next purchase) The three blade system leaves a VERY smooth surface (mimimum sanding with fine sand paper for a stainable finish) Most of the wood I have ran is not more than 7" wide and at 1/16 depth of cut. The unit is capable of more buy why heat the blades. Snipe has been virtually none. A very small amount of snipe occured when I went for a deeper cut on a 7" wide maple board. The depth of cut gauge on the infeed side is about the best idea ever, (other manufacturers take note) and the preset finish cut depth can be somewhat handy as well. The two handles on the top outside of the planer make it very easy to move around my garage, into the pickup, or on to the elevated bench where I keep it out of the way when not in use. If i had any complaint it would be this...If the dust shute had a quick disconnect or latch type attatchment, it would be handy so that the outfeed table could fold up for storage without having to break out any tools. A minor inconvenience that has no effect at all on performance. If your'e looking for a portable garage/jobsite planer, this one is up to the task. You will be pleased with the results. P.S. I haven't had to change the blades yet, however, I did open up the unit and did a "mock" blade change to become familiar with it...very easy to do requiring no special knowledge or tools..Good job Dewalt. - Planer - Dw735 - Thickness Planer - Woodworking'

I receieved the Valeo padded straps and headed off to the gym, after waiting a week for the product to arrive with shipping costs more than the cost of the straps which is rediculous. I purchased them after I lost my previous pair of TKO Fitness straps after beating on them for about 4 years with no problems. I put on the Valeo straps and did one pull-up, and one of the straps ripped in half right on the seam where the neoprene pad was sewn in. My advice, this product is poorly made and cheap. A complete waste of money. Go with something better, and I would avoid the padded straps because the extra stitching weakens the strap fabric. Valeo Padded Lifting Strap, 0.30-Pound
From novice to intermediate, this is an excellent set of lifting straps. You don't need something like this from the beginning. But the weight you're handling starts to exceed your grip strength, this is invaluable.
Use is simple. You just wrap the strap around the bar. There is no real technique to it. As you lift the weight, the weight itself will pull the strap tight and transfer some of the load to the straps around your wrists. I don't recommend wrapping the straps too tight, as that will transfer almost all weight to your wrists and your forearms won't get the usual amount of workout. The point is to complete the lift without your grip failing, not avoiding using your grip altogether. If you do it right, your grip will be supporting most of the weight in the beginning, and as you complete more reps and your grips start to fail, more and more weight can be transfered to the straps.
This is a simple, no frills strap. It works and it's priced very reasonably. Padding is a little light, but it's adequate unless you are handling some Herculean weight.
With these straps I am 10 times the man I was. Everything has grown because I can now handle the weights I was not able to handle before. Please don't think twice and order these from this retailer ASAP!! ARR ARR ARR
Maybe my wrists are small (~6 1/2" around), but the positioning of the padding on these straps prevents them from properly tightening around my wrist, so I can't really use them properly or comfortably. Don't bother buying these unless your wrists are at least an inch larger around than mine.
Pros: soft cotton with thin foam or neoprene pads at wrist, lengthly straps
Cons: possibly shortened lifespan with cotton rather than other strap material
I think with other strap material, the lifespan could be greater. However, at about $5, I would rather go with cotton and be more comfortable and replace them every few years. I generally use these to supplement my lifting for deadlifts to be able to do more reps without tiring the forearms. I don't know if they are strong enough for guys who might be letting these straps hold hundreds of pounds.
Going on 2 yrs. with a set of these, they are just starting to fray a bit. They are fine for moderate lifting but as suggested by another reviewer, non-cotton would be more suitable for advanced lifts. In my experience the cotton holds moisture so can get pretty stinky if not washed weekly :)
Overall, they have served their purpose, just don't expect them to hold up to 400+ lb deadlifts, not made for that.
These things are very solid, and I've noticed a large difference in what I've been able to deadlift with their help. I added 70 lbs to my max, just from the difference between my grip vs overall strength.
The padding is good, the fit is comfortable, and they do their job. I can't ask for more.
These straps are cotton so they stretch during a heavy lift and transfer a lot of the weight back to your hands. It's difficult to get a good grip on heavy weight because of this. Also, the pad is too long so the strap can't be properly tightened around the bar because the loop hits on the pad. I would suggest non-cotton straps with a better pad design (e.g. the Harbinger nylon straps) for advanced lifting.'
