Shower Caddy - shower caddy
For the price I didn't really expect the caddy to be made of stainless steel. Was confirmed when it arrived. Packaging says "stainless steel finish." Time will tell if it will rust like the chrome versions. Zenith Products Over the Large Shower Caddy, Stainless Steel
I went through all of the caddies on Amazon and bought this one. It is a straight-forward design and seems to be a quality item. It is very stable, especially once the suction cups are applied. And since it is stainless steel I am assuming it will not rust.
I would recommend it. - Shower Caddy'

Easy To Assemble - exercise bike, highly recommended
I read a lot of reviews of other bikes so I was on the look out for problems. So far we have not run into any. The setup was very easy. Schwinn provided the parts laid out on a printed piece of cardboard and all the tools necessary to do the job. The assembly "manual" was a pictogram with few words but easy to understand. The entire setup took 45 minutes because I took my time and very methodically laid out each step. If I just jumped into it, it probably would have taken 20-30 minutes. A second pair of hands would have helped align things quicker. One hint I will give you is to make sure you tighten the seat. I thought I had it tight and after riding it a few times, the seat started to swivel. As far as operation goes, we could not be more pleased. It is extremely quiet! In fact I have to almost strain to hear it. It has more whistles and bells than we use (we just jump on and ride for a specific duration). You can set up a "course" where it get progressively harder then easier. My wife likes the fact that it shows the number of calories burned too. The only thing I do not like (but my wife does) is the over the shoe strap on the pedals. My shoes are too wide and it is difficult to get them in. If my wife did not like them I would remove them. I wish Schwinn would make it easier to get them on and off. Overall this is an excellent bike and we are extremely pleased with it. Schwinn 120 Upright Exercise Bike
Bought the Schwinn 120 Upright a couple of weeks ago. Took about an hour to assemble. Unlike some of the other reviewers experience, all the parts were in good condition. I am extremely satisfied with the product. It is very well constructed and stable. I am 6'2" and my knees don't hit the center console (unless my knees are angled inward, which is not how one should pedal). I am an avid bicyclist and find the ride very smooth and whisper quiet. I like the variety of programs included as well as the option of creating my own. All in all, this is a great product at a very reasonable price.
I looked at a lot of bikes at a lot of stores and couldn't find anything else under $800 that wasn't a rickety pile of garbage. This Schwinn stood out because it was virtually silent, most of its important parts were metal and the seat was easily replaceable with no special adaptors necessary. I've been using it for about a month now and can't say I'm disappointed with its performance in any way.
I think the worst thing about it is the computer. The UI is beyond incomprehensible and I honestly have no idea what it's even supposed to do. I just keep pushing buttons until it starts letting me adjust the resistance and ignore its continually blinking segmented displays. I'm pretty sure it doesn't measure much of anything very accurately, so I don't really care to learn more about its eccentricities. I have a watch and I know how to take my pulse--all I want on an exercise bike is a simple knob, thanks.
Just be warned when ordering from Amazon: it will almost certainly arrive damaged in some way as it ships from the factory in a pretty flimsy box that is held together with staples and plastic straps. In my case I didn't realize that a couple parts were cracked until I already had it 95% assembled, and there was no way I was ever going to get it to fit back in the demolished box FedEx dropped it off in. Amazon set up an exchange for me when I complained, but spending another hour disassembling it and taking a day off from work to wait for the UPS guy to come get it didn't make a whole lot of sense. Luckily, Schwinn/Nautilus' customer support is better than Amazon's, so I nabbed the replacement parts I needed for a few bucks' worth of shipping.
Item arrived very promptly after placing order but it arrived damaged. Apparently this has been a fairly common problem shipping this bike. Amazon offered to refund the entire amount if I returned it. They offered a 30% refund if I kept it. I did the latter, then called Nautilus/Schwinn. They are honoring the warranty and sending me the replacement part necessary to repair the bike.
Otherwise, bike is operationally fine. Instruction manual for programming various exercise regimens is very poorly written. Twice I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with the Nautilus/Schwinn customer service people before I finally got the hang of it. The customer service people were very nice but actually didn't know much about this particular issue. We just worked together over the phone as we both read the manual and tried to figure it out.
I think I got a good bike for the money--really good considering the 30% refund from Amazon for the damage goods!
My item arrived in the 2 days it said but the box was halfway torn open, tattered and distroyed. it had rained so now I thought my product had gotton soaked. It came via UPS. Well I read all the reviews prior to purchasing this as-well-as other models. I am totalling satisfied!!! It doesn't rock, it's sturdy, the seat is big enough for anyone and the post can accomodate any bike seat you wish to use like a racing seat for road bikes. My buttocks and knees did hurt though but after constant use and a little adjusting, they should be fine. So far the electronics are great. It plugs in so no worn batteries to worry about. I went from my bed, to the bike, and straight to the shower and to work. I have cycled for years but now I can ride all winter long and at any hour. There is no noise. Completely quiet. Just hang a bag to it for your t.v. remote and your Ipod and enjoy! Some people rated the setup confusing but if you have ever put anything together in your life, you should be fine. Just have patience. It's an Hr and a half tops! I'm purchasing another one today for my 78yr young Mom :-)
Comes with necessary tools and took me only 45 min to assemble it. Seat is too wide for me to work out for more than one hour. Foot strap design is not very good, it touches axis as you pedal.Otherwise this is sufficiently good for its reasonable price for the purpose of moderate indoor exercise during winter time. - Indoor - Highly Recommended - Exercise - Exercise Bike'

Camera Storage - ultra ii, 8gb
I am very fond of my Sandisk cards.
I also have a Sandisk 4.0 GB Extreme card, and did an interesting comparison. I held a recording time race between Ultra and Extreme, here in my livingroom. Recording a big buffer full of photos in multiple trials, the recording times were identical. The more expensive Extreme was no faster than this card. In my case, the recording rate has to be limited by my camera, a Nikon 8800.
Having a reliable card as large as 8.0 GB is very helpful.
My cards have traveled to Alaska, Mexico, and Ecuador, and have had to function in all sorts of conditions. They have recorded 100,000+ photos, each of which I desperately did not want to loose. I back them up as often as I can, but I still worry, and I have lost photos when other cards failed.
I am pleased to say I have never lost a photo from a Sandisk card - in spite of the abuse I put them through.
Last week I filled up my Sandisk Ultra II 8.0 GB with important photos - carefully staged photos of butterfly specimens at the California Academy of Sciences. I worked 12 hours a day for 8 days on this project. The card behaved as it always has, and every single one of the 2400 photos I took, made it home safely.
Do back your cards up often, but from experience I can say that I have a very, very favorable impression of this card. SanDisk 8GB/30MB Ultra II CF Card ( SDCFH-008G-A11, US Retail Package )
This is the best value in an 8 gig card. I've bought a couple super fast generic cards and they are slooooow. False advertizing. I will stick to name brands. I'm using this in a Nikon D2X and D200 and the card is plenty fast. It will empty a full buffer of 25 raw images in one minute, plenty fast for me. Faster brand name cards might be faster but more money. For me this is the right balance of speed and cost.
I've been using this card on my camera since early May, and I am completely enthralled by the flexibility that its speed and capacity give me. Try as I might, the closest I've come to filling this card up on my Canon XTi was on a 5 day long trip where I shot over 3,000 pictures on Medium/Fine quality (2816x1880). I didn't have my computer or any other storage with me on the trip, so I was anticipating having to go through and start deleting pictures at some point to be able to keep everything I wanted and still be able to shoot more. On the third day though, I realized that I had only half-filled the card with about 2,000 shots. I was also able to get a 90-shot burst at 3fps on medium. For the most part, Medium/Fine resolution on the XTi will be good enough for most prints. I've printed up to 11x14 with a bit of post-processing with great success.
So the card by itself will handle a very photo-happy trip with the right quality settings. But when I'm going out for something a bit more deliberate, say some portraits for a friend, I can shoot about 800 photos in RAW, and almost 450 in RAW+JPEG-large! (though if I need JPEGs I usually just do a quick batch conversion when I import everything onto my PC into Adobe Lightroom)
However my favorite thing about this card is that I can use it to shoot timelapse without having to tote my laptop around. If I can get access to an AC outlet, or use the inverter in my car for field-work, I can set up my camera with just my locked shutter release cable or the converted intervalometer I sometimes snag from my friend. This means I don't have to bring my laptop, I don't have to set up the software with the cabling, I don't have to worry about powering my laptop, I don't need to quickly respond to any computer-to-camera communication issues, I can set up and move much more quickly...there's just a boatload of advantages!
If I shoot in medium/fine resolution, this card will give me enough frames for a 2-minute, 24fps high-definition time lapse video. If I shoot in small/fine resolution (1936x1280 is still higher resolution than 1080P video's 1920x1080) I can do nearly 4-minutes. And if I want to sacrifice a small amount of quality for length, shooting at small/regular I can get nearly 10-minutes of timelapse video.
On the speed side of things, this card is plenty quick. Surprisingly I get a fast transfer straight from the camera over a USB cable than with my card reader, but it might just be a bad card reader. But I can transfer a nearly-full card in just a few minutes. Camera to card transfer is pretty fast, and it only takes a few seconds for the buffer to clear after single a RAW+JPEG-L shot, and about 20 seconds to clear the full buffer (good for 9 RAW+JPEG-L, 12 RAW, or 90+ Medium/Fine pictures)...
I also have not had a single instance of data corruption or any other problems with this CF card. It's solid as a rock and I'm extremely glad that I didn't go for something smaller or cheaper.
i shoot water pics in raw with a nikon d200. i have used this card over 25 times, about 200 gb added and deleted with no prblems. i am very happy with it. i might get a extreme 3 or 4 for quicker speed but this extreme 2 is excellent for quality and durability.
Purchased this to go with my new Sony A100 DSLR. Will hold 1950 (app) pictures at max JPEG size, only 280 (app) for RAW!! Card works real well and stores images just as fast as the camera will take them, almost no delay. No issues with the card reader or downloading to the laptop.
I bought this CF card to supplement my SD card storage on my Dell Axim X51. I am currently using it to hold my MP3s, several full length movies in portable format, and my TomTom maps. Good transfer speeds via card reader and access times with the device, even with large files. I have always used SanDisk for my flash media needs, and have never had any troubles with their products.
Excellent memory card especially for the price. Have used this card numerous times in a Nikon D300. Almost purchased the Ultra III/IV but after reading reviews regarding the quality and speed non-issues, I purchased this one. With a camera such as the D200/D300 I see no need for a faster card. Have used SanDisk cards for years with never a problem. - Photography - 8gb - Sandisk - Ultra Ii'

Printer Ink - canon, printer ink
The ink seems to work well for general purpose use. The only problem I have is sometimes the printer thinks the cartridge is empty when there is still clearly a significant amount of ink left in the cartridge.
Amazon.com is typically among the lowest cost suppliers of Canon CLI-8 ink. Canon CLI-8M Magenta Ink Tank
I use this ink for my every day printing needs and sometimes for picture printing. The quality is great and the colors are vivid. Canon has a great line of printing products, and I would recommend to buy original inks, since they provide better quality.
I have a Canon Photo Printer which takes six CLI-8 Canon Ink Cartridges. The cost of each individual ink cartridge ranges from around $12.50-15 (on Amazon) to 18.99 in Staples. So no matter how you buy the genuine Canon Ink Cartridges keeping yourself ready to print photos is expensive.
You can get a better per cartridge of you buy them in Canon CLI-8 4-Color Multipack Ink Tanks. In that case each individual cartridge is a little less expensive. Canon package CL-8C (Cyan), CL-8M (Magenta), CL-8Y (Yellow), and CL-8BK (Black) as a pack ($40-44 on Amazon). When cartridges are sold in packs you might think those colors are used at similar rates... but that is not so.
I have kept track of the usage of the cartridges over a long period of time and would like to share these results with you.
Number of cartridges used
CL-8M Magenta = 5
CL-8Y Yellow = 8
CL-8B Black = 6
CL-8PC Photo Cyan = 6
CL-8PM Photo Magenta = 8
CL-8C Cyan = 4
My usage shows that yellow is used the most, followed closely by Photo Magenta, followed next by Black and Photo Cyan, and trailed by Cyan and Magenta. Note that I have a laser printer that I used for text otherwise the usage of the Black Cartridge would have been a lot higher.
I buy most of my color photo ink on-line from Amazon. However now that Staples began (again) accepting CL-8 cartridges for Staples Rewards in their recycling empty cartridges program, I wanted to analyze my usage to see which cartridges I should buy at Staples using my Staples Rewards.
My original thought was to buy Canon CLI-8PC Photo Cyan Ink Tank and Canon CLI-8PM Photo Magenta Ink Tank since they don't come in a pack. But given the usage chart above, it is clear that I should buy extra Yellow and Photo Magenta.
I love my Pixma printers, and the ink is no exception. I always buy the name-brand of ink because of the chip on the tank (I don't trust myself to peel it off and glue it on the generic ones.) Sometimes I have problems with the printer thinking the tank is empty when it is not, but I assume that has something to do with the fact that my printer is over 4 years old.
I have been using Canon printers and ink for many years. I like the printers that use the individual ink colors best. Although the Canon ink is expensive, the resulting prints are wonderful. Amazon's price, delivery time, and shipping costs are as good as gets.
I will no longer purchase from office supply stores if I continue to find these ink cartridges at these prices at amazon. Even generic versions of the same ink did not come close to the price offered here. Shipping was timely and the product was no different than what I could find at a big box store. - Canon - Printer Ink - Ink Cartridge - Inkjet'

Home Theater System - wireless home theater, samsung
I recently purchased this Samsung system as a replacement to my previous Samsung system that was destroyed in a house fire. I'm no audiophile, but I do know good sound when I hear it.
Before buying this set, I had considered sound bars and other 2.1 systems (mainly Bose) as I live in an apartment and my living room isn't all that big, nor did I want the system to blow away my neighbors. I ended up with this, though for a couple of reasons:
For the money, it's a good system. It's almost identical to the last albeit with wireless rear speakers. Which is my first point. The wireless rear speakers just work. You plug in a transmitter to the back of the unit and then plug the rear speakers into a receiver unit that you plug into the wall. So the rear speakers aren't truly wireless, but they're good enough. I did buy some nice stands to put them on so that I could hide the speaker wire. The receiver box is small (about the size of a Nintendo Wii or similar) and unobtrusive. I set it next to my couch on the floor under a side table and you can't see it unless you're looking for it. Also, the couch hides the wires coming from the farthest speaker.
The speakers are good. Not great, but they'll do. They don't have any grilles on them, which is a bit annoying. They look good, but if you've got toddlers on the move or a big dog, I'd suggest wall-mounting them or putting them up on stands to get them out of the way of curious fingers and/or sharp teeth. My rear speakers exhibit a bit of fuzziness at low volumes, especially when I'm sitting right next to one of them, but turn up the volume and have a steady flow of sound, and you never hear it. I'm guessing this might be a slight loss in transmission from the transmitter to the rear receiver, but I may be wrong.
The setup for this system was incredibly easy. Samsung color-codes their speaker wires so you can't really mess it up. The only bad thing about this is that if you want new, more or better speaker wire, you're going to have to get something Samsung compatible with their connections or either do some MacGuyvering to get their connection onto your wire of choice (which may defeat the purpose of better speaker wire). The good thing about this system vs. my last one, is that the wires weren't permanently attached to the speakers so I can upgrade my speakers at any point by just unplugging the wires from these and plugging them into the back of something nicer. I doubt I'll ever need anything more, but it's an option. Back to the setup, Samsung provides a microphone for an auto setup feature and while I never could get it to pick up every speaker every time (it would miss at least one each time), it did seem to get things close enough for me.
This system works flawlessly with my Samsung 46" LCD HDTV and while I don't use the remote (I have a Logitech Harmony remote), it seemed easy enough to use and matched the remote to my TV almost button for button.
For the money, there aren't much better systems out there. Especially if you're looking for rear speakers that are wireless. It's a good starter set or a replacement to an old setup if you just want to add in the all-in-one capability of the box. Samsung HT-C650W Home Theater System
I truly love this system. I agonize over every decision and this one was no exception. I have had component systems in the past, but they never sound as good as they do in the store. I was looking for something that had a all in one type set up, so all components are matched, and looking for a price under 400.00. I checked all the reviews online and found that Cnet had the most comprehensive review and highly recommended the unit due to its quality of sound out of the box. I literally spent 15 minutes with set up including all the wiring, which is color coded on the speaker terminals and on the end of the wires, the wireless receiver and rear speakers, ipod dock, center channel, sub woofer and front speakers. Even with past systems I have owned I cannot recall a easier set up. After the 15 minutes I put in clash of the titans and was amazed. I will admit, the term "wireless rear speakers" is a bit off as you have a wireless receiver that then is wired to the speakers. So just to be clear the rear speakers are a wireless system with a wireless receiver and then short wires to the speakers. One fully set up the movie come on and I was lost in encompassing surround sound features. Especially when Hades entered the scene it felt like he was in the room as the sound moved around the 5 speakers in fluid motion. And with the smart sound feature and set up mic for room, I did not have to do any major tweaking to get the right balance between all the speaker sets. I found the DVD player to be good and equal to any upscaling player, generating 1080P output from the HDMI cable (not included). Overall I would say that especially for this price point I found the quality to be excellent. The only thing that did surprise me was how small the center channel speaker was, but one you hear the sound from it (and lets be honest it is mainly for voices), I quickly forgot its size and sat back and enjoyed the movie. Oh, one more thought, and an important one, for me, is that at low volume the sound quality and surround levels were just as accurate at medium volume and being someone whom watches movies late at night, being able to hear the dialog at low levels is imperative!!
Recently, I purchased the Samsung HT-C650 shortly after Black Friday when it was on sale for $[...]. It was an awesome price considering it has wireless rear speakers included along with the receiver and transmitter. Any wireless ready device you purchase from Sony, JVC, etc will cost anymore between $120-150 for the upgrade so based on that alone I purchased this unit.
However, in hindsight and after a weekend of tinkering with it and on the phone with Samsung Customer Support, I have decided that these units are not manufactured well.
I opened the box and set everything up and was eager to experience the new sounds, but my problems began with the initial setup and configuration. When you first turn on the system, it wants to run through a calibration, language, etc, but unfortunately the remote that was shipped was no working. All buttons on the remote worked, except for the enter key in the middle of the D-Pad. Samsung graciously is sending me another remote for free with no cost for shipping, but it will take between 7-14 days, well after Christmas. No problem, as an electronic geek, I figured I would work around it. Thankfully, I figured out the frequency the remote uses based off a Comcast Universal Remote by using setup, Ch+, power over and over until I was able to wrangle control of the unit.
The next problem I encountered was the wireless speakers would not work. The manual says to hit the remote and type 0,1,3,5 which puts the receiver into a learning mode to sync with the wireless surrounds. No problems, got through that part too.
The next stage that would be the last are the sub woofer and Digital Optical Input. Sadly, the sub woofer is single worst part of their experience. It hardly gives off any sound at all. Although it is a passive 6.5" woofer, I anticipated a lot more Oomph from that and assumed it would be similar to my former Sony Bravia system, but it was not meant to be. I even flashed the firmware on the main unit and boosted the gain by 6dB, but the subwoofer doesn't sound boomy or rumbly at all. Nothing. I can tell it is receiving a signal based on the ASC calibration test, but the gain is just terrible.
As for the Digital Optical Input, for some reason, I can not get the sound to output to the Samsung Receiver. The Reciver simply flashes the volume up and down buttons on the main unit over and over like it is waiting for something.
Sadly, this unit is going to have to go back and my search for a new home theater will have to continue anew. - Home Theater - Wireless Home Theater - Home Theater System - Samsung'

Stührling Original - stuhrling, skeleton watch
I got this watch in Nov. 2008. It was great for the first four months. Then one day I looked down at it to check the time and noticed there was a heavy haze on the inside of the glass. If the watch was sealed properly, this would have never been an issue. After a few days, the haze went away, but then I noticed something rattling around in the watch. Upon a closer look, I noticed a little blue screw and some sort of gear rolling around at the bottom of the watch. There is a one year warranty through Stuhrling, but they want you to pay a $20 shipping cost to get it to them. $20 is extremely high to ship a watch and a rip off. Be cautious. The watch is beautiful, but it will probably fall apart very quickly. Stuhrling Original Men's 165B.331554 Lifestyle Winchester Grand Automatic Skeleton Watch
I consider myself a male fashionista for the most part, and generally do not buy watches that are not produced by reputable, high end companies, with my previous watches being Gucci, Tag Heuer, etc.
I do however own lower grade watches, but again have stuck to larger known companies such as Timex, Kenneth Cole, Eddie Bauer, without issue.
I had never heard of Stuhrling, found limited information on them and was entirely skeptical of the quality and appearance this watch could have.
However, Amazon was offering a great price, and the watch "appeared" to be very largely discounted (though I don't give much credibilty to the regular prices, thus discounts shown here), and thus the price was such that I was comfortable taking a chance regardless.
All I can say is I am INCREDIBLY HAPPY with this watch!! It is simply gorgeous to look at, very good quality, and much more than I expected! I can honestly say that people are always asking me to see it, asking where I got it, and it draws the attention of watches 20x its price!
So if you seek a funky, semi-blinged out watch that can be worn formally or informally, don't even think about it! Get this watch!
Lastly, if you are ordering this item as a gift, you will be VERY pleasantly surprised by the packaging it comes in. There was a VERY expensive looking, felt lined yellow embossed sturdy rectangular box it came in, with all kinds of warranty/official info/logo etc., tags and documents also enclosed. The packaging makes the watch appear to be much much more expensive than it is! Thus a great gift to give if you ask me!
The ONLY negative I can offer about this watch is that it does work on kinetic energy, and if you don't wear it often, it will always have the wrong time and need to be reset. However, once set and wound, it works flawlessly!
Great choice.
My wife bought me this watch for my birthday and I am writing this review under her name. I got the watch on a tuesday, opened it up around 6:00 in the evening it was beautiful, looks just like the pictures. Wound it up, put it on my wrist and was a happy camper. The leather band takes a little while to break in, maybe 3 days of wearing. Thursday evening I got home from work and looked at my wrist, but my watch had stopped. I tried widing it, shaking it to get it to auto wind, wound the spring all the way up but to no avail. So its about 6:30 by this time. I call Amazon and tell them what happened, the next day there was a new watch sitting at my doorstep, free of charge, with a label to send the broken one back with. No hassle, that was great. I have had my new one for about 2 weeks now and I am extremely happy with it. I wind it every couple of days and it has been running just fine. I set it when I got it and have not had to adjust the time at all. I was a little leary because some reviewers said it doesnt keep time very well and that you will have to reset it every few days, but 2 1/2 weeks into it the watch is keeping perfect time and hasnt seemed to lose even a second. I would recommend it to other people, it is a little bit large for my taste but since the band has worn in it seems to sit nicer on my wrist than it did when I first got it. I get many compliments on it and I love just staring at it watching the 'guts' move.
I bought this watch for my husband as a Christmas gift. The second day wearing it, it started making rattle sounds, like a piece was loose. One week later, it stopped working. We did not send it back because we live overseas and it was not worth the hassle. Poor crafstmanship, poor quality materials, worst watch I have ever bought. We threw it in the garbage can, did not even bother taking it to our jeweler to get it fixed
I got this watch as a birthday present. I wanted something different from the Nixons and Fossils I already own and this was exactly it. Some people have commented on how the metal insides are not polished from the back, but its just the back of the numbers, the gears are shiny and look really cool. I like the contrast between the flat and shiny insides when looking through the back so that doesn't bother me. To date I haven't had any problems with it. Everything works great and from someone who has bought much more expensive watches, I don't think it feels cheap or shoddily made at all. As for its ability to keep time, manual watches (including this self winding watch) are never as precise as quartz watches. This is a commonly known fact, you will always lose a couple seconds a day in a watch that is based on springs whereas the quartz uses an electromagnetic pulse that can be calculated very precisely. Mechanical watches are also not as durable as quartz watches, they are more delicate and require special care. This is not a watch to take out camping or dirt biking. Too much jostling and slamming around can damage the gears and knock pieces loose, this is just a characteristic of mechanical watches. Don't knock this watch for something that it wasn't designed to do. It is a beautiful timepiece that at least for now has performed exactly as I expected it to. If you want something extremely precise and durable, buy a quartz watch but you will lose out on the really cool skeleton features. Otherwise buy a more expensive mechanical watch! - Watches - Skeleton Watch - Automatic - Stuhrling'

Moisturizer - moisturizer, dry skin
I was a bit sceptical at first, as there are so many new fancy brands on the market with 8 peptides per cream, all new branded ingredients and myths around them, bla bla bla. I decided to give it a go after reading all great reviews here. I was looking for a new skincare line as high-end brands are just rediculuosly overpriced for what they offer.
Result- Swisa really improved my skin when I had a serious clogged pores situation (fulliculitis).
No idea whether it is dead sea salts or selection of ingredients in general, but my skin looks better than ever, firm, reduced wrinkles, younger by a decade (I am 35), zero spots.
I use it in combination with the Prototype - 37c and UNT AHA/ABA serum.
It is sold at discount on Amazon, and A-VIVA seller fills in details in the product description form in a client-oriented manner so you do not have to pay import tax. Fantastic deal all in all.
I would recommend this brand to anyone. Swisa Beauty Anti-Aging Cream, 1.01 -Ounce
I use the Swisa Beauty Anti-Aging Cream as often as I use the Swisa Beauty Sensation Line Reversal Peptide Serum Dead SEA Cosmetics morning and night as I believe they work with each other. I have tried using one without the other and it is ok but when I use the Line Reversal Peptide Serum, the Eye Cream and the Anti-Aging Cream you can't help but to continue to feel your face and look in the mirror more often just because your skin looks and feels so good.
This is the best facial cream I have ever used. It makes my face feel so soft and smooth. Makes my 60 year old face look youthful. Wish I had started using this years ago. The absolute most wonderful product.Addition: I just bought my second jar. This cream is amazing. I have very sensitive skin and this facial cream never burns or bothers my skin. I use the Alba pineapple enzyme after I wash my face to get it extra clean. Then I apply this. The wrinkles around my eyes have plumped up. My skin looks fresh and soft. I don't look like a 20 year old, but I look like a well kept 60, which is what I am. Thank you Swisa.
I'm only 22 years old, but I like to use anti-aging products as a precautionary measure instead of a fix for something already damaged. I've been searching for a product that can extend the outlet on my bathroom for the electrical products that I use. I finally came across this Belkin mini surge protector and features:
- 3 AC power outlets
- 2 USB outlets ONLY for charging (not data transfer) at 5V / 500mA at each port
- Surge protection on all 5 outlets
- 918 Joules Energy Dissipation
- 125V / 15A / 1,875W Continuous Duty Electrical Rating
- 36,000A Maximum Spike Current
- Lifetime Warranty on product
- USD75,0000.00 connected equipment warranty
- 360 degree rotating plug lockable into 4 possible positions
Simple, elegant design in a smooth plastic casing of white and light grey colour. Once plugged, the green LED light will indicate if the power source is grounded.
The box comes with one USB to mini-USB cable to get you started in charging your USB devices as well.
DO NOT throw the prong cover that initially comes attached to the surge protector prong. As the manual states (for those who still care to read the User Manual these days), you can use this plastic prong cover to help further balance the device against any surface. You do this by inserting the plastic prong cover on the bottom of the surge device via a small notch. Also, the plastic cover is handy to use when traveling. Before dumping the surge protector along with your other devices, cover the prongs to prevent it from scratching other objects.
The prongs can be rotated 360 degrees loosely. However, there are 4 positions that enable you to lock it so it doesn't flail along clumsily in any direction. You do this by pressing into the rear a "release button". It's not a raised button, but a flat plastic portion that you have to press hard in order to release the lock. It's quite difficult (at least with the model I received) at first and feels like I'm going to break the plastic button. But I guess if this is normal then it can be construed as a safety measure so it doesn't easily rotate with a simple touch.
IMPROVEMENTS:
The term "mini" is subjective. It isn't really that compact as I would assume from seeing the photo. It is small, yes. However, as a surge protector that can take 3 AC and 2 USB outlets, I will give Belkin the benefit of naming it a mini device.
I would STRONGLY prefer the re-design of the spacing on the AC outlets by allowing larger plugs connected side-by-side. As it is right now, only normal AC plugs and not block-style plugs are allowed without loosing all three outlets. So my proposal is to delete the middle AC outlet and move it to the end-cap of the device (opposite to the 2 USB outlets). As of now, there is nothing there so rather than cramp the 3 AC plugs, then move the third at the end and thus allowing for block-style plugs to be used and still retaining the 3 AC functionality.
OVERALL:
I would not hesitate to recommend the purchase of this surge protection for compact spaces as well as travel purposes especially with the lifetime warranty and amount of protection is offers.
Take note of the selling price Amazon and the others are selling this at. It's ridiculous to see the selling price of this exact device can range anywhere from USD10 to USD30.
Lastly, BE AWARE of the SPECS so you know if the USB device you are plugging is capable of being charged. Belkin Mini Surge Protector Dual USB Charger
Nice hotel room companion for plugging in the laptop, cell phone, iPod, and iPhone when you only have one outlet. The 5v outputs are regulated very well. It's quite a bit larger than it appears in the photograph as well as modestly heavy. Calling it 'mini' is deceptive. It's also rated up to 125v so forget using it anywhere except North America (not mentioned in the technical specs). Otherwise, it's built sturdy as a brick and will endure any punishment your travels may inflict upon it.
To get directly to this items flaw... It cannot recharge/power more than one USB item at a time. So what's the point in having two USB outputs?
The 120V outlets work as advertised. The ability to rotate the prongs is a plus as it can be adjusted to most if not all outlets.
The USB power fails if more than one item at a time is plugged into the surge protector. Even if, say your phone is fully charged, if you go to connect another item to run or charge, the surge protector will not supply the power that both items demand. The items that are connected will act as if they have been disconnected from their power source, then once the surge protector accumulates enough power(not certain, but seem to act as if there are capacitors)to start supplying power once again the items connected to the USB ports start to operate briefly until the surge protector cannot supply enough power for the two items.
As stated before, it will supply ONE item with power, without a problem. But will not supply enough power for two, even if one item is fully charged.
I am unable to charge my iPad directly via the USB port. Instead, I have to plug the iPad's power adapter in to one of the outlets in front. Not a big deal, but I assumed that the USB port would be powerful enough to charge the iPad.
I also agree with other posts that this is not a "mini" device.
If you have lots of gadgets, or kids with lots of gadgets, this is handy for home as well as travel (and yes, its not very "mini"), but it is sturdy and attractive, and works well, offering valuable surge protection for your electronics. An led light tells you its working. I like that it lets you keep them all in the same place when you travel, so you're not likely to forget one that you've plugged behind some piece of furniture! The plug rotates and you can attach it to the wall in any direction. One important note: it is not recommended for aquariums or other water related items. This surge protector comes with a lifetime warranty, that includes the products you plug in, with limitations. You must plug it directly into the wall, and cannot use extension cords, for instance. But overall, its good insurance for your electronics. - Travel - Usb Charger - Power Strip - Belkin'

Major Disappointment - college football, football
I was really looking forward to getting this game. I was really disappointed today when I opened my package and started the game. The graphics are absolutely HORRIBLE. They are an insult to 1998 graphics. I don't even know where to start. First, the crowd is completely flat. The graphics are similar to a game from the mid 90's, and for that reason it is almost impossible to play. Even the field looks terrible. Yes, there are a lot of stadiums to choose from, but with bad graphics, who cares? Ok, now for some of the specifics.
Yes, you can shake the wii remote to control certain actions, such as on offense, you can snap the ball, pass the ball and evade tackles by shaking the remote. Also on defense you can block the pass, give a big hit or rush the QB all by shaking the wii remote. Overall, I would say that part of the game isn't that bad, but the controls are very simple. (Note to EA, buy a copy of PES Soccer. Copy their player controls. You will have a lot of happy customers...)
There are several options available to start off. You can go right to a game, you can play a "mascot game" which is also pathetic. Why do you want an entire team made up of the same mascot? If you do want that, you can play, but it is nothing more than the players running around in chicken suits. And see my previous comments on the graphics, and you will understand it is not fun to play. You can also go right to a rivalry game, which seems like a neat idea...and you even see who is winning the overall series. There is dynasty mode available, but I have not tried that yet.
You can pick from over 110 teams, and there are a lot of stadiums to choose from. I counted at least 160, plus a few special venues, such as Mile High for CU-CSU, the cotton bowl for Oklahoma - Texas, and about 4 others for Florida - Georgia, Army - Navy, The ACC Championship Game, the SEC Championship Game and the MAC Championship game.
The only part of the game that I liked was the use of your mii character to track your results, and it shows your picture if you make a tackle or big play. I don't know if it will show your mii in uniform, but with the absolutely horrific graphics, I doubt you could tell who it was anyway. I don't know if there is the "locker room" feature available like there is supposed to be in the xbox and ps games so you can download all of the player names. I could not find it if it is there. It appears that you have to go in and edit every player to get the right names. Why not add the locker room feature to the wii version EA???
I am a big college football fan and was really looking forward to playing this game, but I am very disappointed. For the umpteenth time, the graphics were so bad, it rendered the game unplayable. Don't waste your money, I am returning it as soon as possible. NCAA Football 09
throughout the past couple months my expectations went up and down about this game. I have played the previous NCAA games for years now and since I own a Wii I thought the new controls would be a nice addition to the game because most of it is getting old (please record a new commentary track). Once I put in the game I noticed the shotty graphics. Now I know it's on a wii, but that should not be the reason it is this bad. There are games like Resident Evil 4 that look fantastic. The image seems to be made to look cartoon like on purpose. I decided to play Western MIchigan at Central Michigan because it is my home school. The stadium is not there. Even though it has been in past games, I guess EA sports figured only some school can have their own stadium, the rest get a generic one. The crowd is flat and the grass is just a sea of green, like Tecmo Bowl for the original Nintendo. I quit to then see what extras there were. You have Dynasty mode, Rivalry game, and Mascot game. No Create a team, Create a character, or Historic games. I click on Dynasty mode because that is the most important part and start up as Michigan State so I know I will have a real stadium. I had to quit my first game twice out of frustration because the sensor bar is not reading the Wii remote movement. Kicking was nice with it depending on how the Wii remote is turned and the speed it is swung at, but everything else seems to not read well. Even the playbook is empty. You have about 10 plays that consist of zone, deep zone, man, blitz... etc. with no formations, and this is in the Non-All play mode. Lastely, I can understand in the All-Play mode to have it be cute, but when I turn it off, I expect that too as well. I could not get into one game with it showing me a smily face for a good play, or filling the screen with stars when I get a touchdown. I am sorry EA sports, but I will be returning your game and I hope you make you 2010 line for people who enjoy the game, and not for family fun.
This game lacks 90% of what makes it great for experienced players, and lacks the reaction time of the Wii remote for new users.
Wow. What can I say about this game? It's basically exactly the same as NCAA Football 2005 that I have for Gamecube. Right down to the two man commentary word-for-word. Except, the Gamecube version is actually better. This doesn't even have a create school/player option. The graphics are really basic. It doesn't show anything on the sidelines (players/coaches/fans). It doesn't even show the fans in the stands, like the Gamecube game did. The only other difference is using the Wii remote for gameplay, which is really tedious, and almost too easy. Simply flick/shake remote to pass/rush/catch etc... Yawn. No thanks.
Do yourself a favor and spend the 10-20 bucks on the Gamecube version instead.NCAA Football 2005
I really dodged a bullet with this one. I'm glad I rented it first.
I understand where many of the negative comments are coming from. The graphics aren't fantastic and the game play isn't very complicated. But as a college football fan who is more or less inexperienced at gaming and really just getting into it because of the unique nature of the Wii, I really enjoyed this. I likely would not have used much more complex controls (I have Madden 09 and probably don't get nearly the functionality out of it that I should). Of course I would have enjoyed better graphics but if I played games for graphics I would have a different system. I may not be the typical gamer but this game works for me and it might work for you too. - College Football - Bomb - Ncaa - Football'

Invisible Fence - wireless fence, battery
We're been buying these batteries as a substitute for the extremely expensive proprietary Invisible Fence batteries with no problems whatsoever for at least five years. They seem to last as long and work just the same for a lot less money. Invisible Fence R21 & R51 Dog Collar Battery
I have ordered a few of these. They did work with my Invisible Fence, but last week, one of the collars was not working. I put a new battery in, and even switched with the battery in the other (working) collar. It still wouldn't work. I called the Invisible Fence Rep, and he asked if I had the genuine Invisible Fence battery in it. He explained that was probably the reason. He sent me genuine batteries, and that was it. So, they did work, but I thought others should know it's a gamble; not one I'm willing to take anymore. It may void any warranty you have as well, if you don't have Invisible Fence batteries in their collars.
The battery plugged right into my dogs collars like the original Invisible Fence battery - only at a fraction of the cost! So far (one month), I have not seen any difference in the performance of this battery vs. the OEM.
Invisible Fence branded stuff is so expensive and replacing them every 6 months for multiple dogs was becoming unaffordable. This replacement battery is half the price and works just as well. Still left to be seen if it lasts the entire 6 months
My Invisible Fence rep tried to scare me into not buying this battery replacement. I am glad that I did not listen. This is an equivalent replacement that works at a lower price. What's not to like.
I was very impressed with the quick response to my purchase. I got an email confirmation from Amazon and another one from the vendor. The batteries arrived right away! Very helpful for my last-minute inventory style!! - Wireless Fence - Battery - Dogs'

Kitchenaid Blender - kitchen appliances, kitchenaid blender
I have been looking for a blender for a few weeks now. We have started making smoothies at home and burned up our old one. Our girls like the "Chocolate Elvis" recipe from the local smoothie place which contains peanutbutter, bananas, yogurt, ice, and milk. I guess this is really hard on blenders. I bought one at Target 2 weeks ago that had "700 watts peak power" on the box. It died in 2 days. The power spec on the bottom of the blender said 450 watts. I think that is false advertisement. I have seen this on 2 different blenders now.
I have been leery of buying any blender with the little plastic teeth couplers because of all the bad reviews here on Amazon. I also wanted to stay away from anything with only 450 watts.
I was in another store and saw this blender. It has a new design for where the blades couple with the motor. "Commercial quality couplers with 12 interlocking teeth....coated for quiet operation".
We have had it for a few days now and have made some pretty thick smoothies. So far, so good. No burning smell like the one that was immediately apparent with the Target blender. My youngest daughter complanied that her smoothie was "too smooth". I guess she got used to the chunks of ice that our past blenders have left.
Kitchenaid doesn't seem to advertise the actual power specs on their blenders. On the bottom of this one it says that it draws 6 amps. Which is about 720 watts or about 0.9 horsepower.
My only complaint so far is the soft start feature. The blade starts at a slower speed then quickly increases to the speed you chose. This process still throws everything up into the lid, which is what it should prevent. It works fine though as long as you have the lid on. It also works if you start with the slowest speed and work your way up.
Overall this blender seems to be well made and pretty well thought out. The cord storage on the bottom is a great feature. It has much bigger feet than the previous model. So far, I would highly recommend this blender for the person looking for a good blender in the under $200 range.
Added comments:
It is a year and about 300 smoothies later and we still have this blender. I would highly recommend it!! KitchenAid KSB560ER 5-Speed Blender with Polycarbonate Jar, Empire Red
We bought this Kitchenaid blender over a year ago, and after several months the container started to leak. The leak was small, and we put up with it for awhile. We finally got tired of the mess, however, and called the factory. We were told that the container had been redesigned, and they would send us a new one immediately even though our warranty had expired. When we got the new one we could see that it had indeed been redesigned, and have used it for some time now, and NO LEAKS. A leak proof container plus the other great features of this blender now warrant a definite five stars.
My husband and I make smoothies almost every single night (as in, 6-7 nights/week), so we're really hard on our blenders. We have been through 4 blenders in the last 3 years alone. We started with a cheap Oster blender, but quickly realized that it was pretty much useless for the thick smoothies we like to make. Next, I bought the Back to Basics Smoothie Elite, which was great for as long as it held up, but as it turned out, that was only 6 months. So, we upgraded to the Back to Basics Smoothie Professional, which was great until I dropped the glass jar into the sink and broke it, only to find that you couldn't buy a new one ANYWHERE so my $120 blender was now worthless.
After all this, I decided to stop fooling around and buy a Kitchenaid. This blender has all the power you need (way more power than any of the first 3 blenders I bought; both the smoothie blenders came with a stir stick, but such a thing isn't even necessary when you have the power of this Kitchenaid), and is a steal at $99, since we've had it for a year now and it's still as good as new. The motor is unstoppable, the blade is fantastic, it cleans easily, the jar is polycarbonate (i.e. unbreakable if you drop it), and there is a removable plastic piece in the lid in case you do want to use a stir stick.
I love this blender, and when it dies (which I hope/believe will be years from now, given how reliable my other Kitchenaid appliances are) I will be replacing it with the exact same make and model. It's everything a blender should be!
After going through 2 Waring PBB blenders - one motor died and blades on both pitchers broke soone after purchase - and many hours of research both online and in store I went out and bought the ksb560 today (would have bought it here but I had a 20% off coupon for store). I was reluctant to buy a "plastic" pitcher but this one is light but sturdy and dishwasher safe, although I would not put in dishwasher but just rinse out after each use. The pitcher has small pinholes on the bottom so when it is turned upside down it drains any excess water left over from washing and does not effect the pitcher otherwise i.e. does not leak contents when upright. On top of that it has a soft grip handle to make holding it easier and is easy to place on and remove from base. A glass or stainless pitcher is also available. The blender base is made of durable metal and not cheap plastic like other models. The clutch on this particular model has been redesigned and better than the other similar KitchenAid 5 speed. I visited KitchenAid's online forum and learned the company actually listens to its customer's complaints about the clutch breaking off so easily. Now for the best part, its quiet!! It blends perfectly and in spite of what others have said about the slight hesitation or what KA calls "soft start" when you first turn it on I really did not notice. The ice crush feature works great, I used it this morning on my frozen strawberries and everything was crushed, no small lingering lumps. I have not used it on ice yet but the manual says you can crush ice without the use of water or liquid which may be a plus for some but ice crushing is not my main use. I use this 2x/day for protein shakes one for me and one for spouse. One more BIG plus and kudos to KitchenAid is that they will replace it if the blender fails within the 1st year and they will arrange for replacement sent to you free of charge.
UPDATE: As much as I love this blender I have had problems with the clutch coming loose. Instead of purchasing just the jar (at $60 a pop) I decided to just get a new one for a few dollars more. This time I got it in black. After a couple of months the clutch part that makes the contents spin came loose. Kitchenaid sent me a new one but this one lasted just under a year. TOO bad because I really liked this blender. I think I am going to switch to Cuisinart for a longer lasting experience. I can't be replacing the jar every few months. - Kitchenaid Blender - Kitchenaid - Smoothie Maker - Kitchen Appliances'
