Shakespeare Ugly Stik - ugly stick, fishing rod

Excellent rod for fishing in southern Nevada and surf fishing on the Pacific. Coupled with my Zebco I purchased I could not ask for a better combination. With free shipping it beat the local stores in overall cost too. Both products are well made. Automatic Movement - sport watch, chronograph

I've already received countless compliments on this watch. I'm very happy with the purchase. Currently it is enjoying more wrist time than many of my other watches (including a very jealous IWC Portuguese). It's my 4th automatic watch so far, and the first that doesn't have a leather strap. Hand-crafted mechanical movements are definitely the way to go.

The sailcloth strap turns out to be a good material for diving or swimming, and also gives the watch an elegant yet casual feel. The watch is rather heavy, and has a solid presence, as most well built automatic watches should. Also, I have a very small wrist, but I'm able to pull off this watch without it looking ridiculous at all. I should also mention that the strap has a deployant clasp (not sure if the pictures on amazon show that), which is an added bonus. I believe the movement to be a Valjoux 7750 - the same as in the IWC Portuguese Chronograph, as well as many other pieces.

The only complaint I would have is the picture that Baume et Mercier chose for this watch - it makes the rotating bezel seem like it has a shine (which it does not), and makes the color of the roman numerals look more of a yellow/gold color. Keep in mind that this color is actually the same exact orange as that of the stitching on the strap as well as the inside of the strap. Look at the picture of this watch from overstock.com if you would like to see the watch in its true color. Lastly, as the other reviewer mentioned, the luminescence isn't that great.

Regardless, I couldn't help but give it 5 stars. It's Swiss made, has an automatic movement, has a gorgeous face with a very unique strap, and is listed at a fraction of it's retail price. Baume & Mercier Men's 8797 Riviera Chronograph Strap Watch

This is a great looking watch, and I've never seen it on anyone else, which living in Los Angeles is a big deal. I wrestled with myself for a month about getting this watch. I usually get immediate buyer's remorse as soon as I succumb to my addiction and hit BUY on something as frivolous and overpriced as a quality timepiece, but the second I opened the box and saw this baby that all went away. I love the juxtaposition of the matte black finish on the bezel and dial against the polished steel of the case and subtle detailing of the chrono dial. The dial itself is absolutely stunning with just the right amount of orange to black contrast. A great masculine, athletic looking watch, but not so much that its ostentatious. (Not to step on any toes, but come on Panerai, its big enough already) The chronograph movement is of the highest quality, very crisp and substantial when you push the buttons and pull the crown, like you would expect from a premiere Swiss watch house like B&M. Usually I prefer a tang and buckle to a deployment strap because deployments always pinch and cut off circulation. This one is no different in the pinch department, but the sail cloth has a nice pliable finish, and doesn't feel as stiff and restricting as most leather straps.

The other reviews are correct in pointing out the lack of illumination on the numbers, it does glow after exposure to direct sunlight, but nowhere near as bright compared to my Seamaster. This may be an unfair comparison though, you can see that thing from the moon at full glow.

I'm an architect, so I got this thinking it would be a great everyday job site workhorse between the weekend G-shock and the office Omega, but it looks so good I don't want to mess it up. Get it, its awesome.

I've been looking at this watch for sometime now at the local dealer; what can i say? it was love at first sight and i kept going back just to try it on. I've been looking for a watch to get to myself for my 40th birthday and was deciding between this one and a Rolex, but tought the Rolex was so "popular", a lot of people have it, plus is the watch brand that is "imitated" the most, so i wanted something different.

Since i also liked Baume & Mercier for a while now and had found a particular model that i really liked, i almost bought it at the local store, but then tought about looking it up on Amazon. To my surprise, i found it almost half-prized. So i press click and ordered without hesitation.

Good that i did because this is one the best watches i've had and i'm not bluffing when i say that i get compliments every time i wear it.

Besides the renown swiss brand, the good look, craft quality and the nice price listed here, i say that if somebody is reading this because you're thinking about getting this watch: go for it; it's worth it.

Highly recommend it.

Very elegant yet sporty watch. Does not look cheap at all. Highly recommendable. Only catch is that the luminescence is not that good - does not stay on long enough in the darkness of the night. Like the strap and the color combination. Perfect fit.

Also be wary since the watch is actually not covered under manufacturers warranty.

Nice watch. Was shipped promptly.

The watch is excellent. I fell in love with it right away.

Just like other reviews have mentioned, luminescence is practically non-existent, but then if luminescence is so important to you, then get Timex for an inexpensive piece or a Ball watch for something sophisticated.

Other than that everything is perfect.

The orange highlights add some individuality.

Good looking, great time keeper, no strap adjustment needed. At first I thought it was defective due to lack of luminescence. I have since discovered that if exposed to bright light it glows just fine.

raise this to four stars.

these days, b&m makes so many watches a year and many of them end up on discounted online stores. this 8797 stands out being the absolute best deal if you are looking for a diver chrono and automatic movement. cheaper alternative to an iwc aquatimer. i usually buy mid level watches from amazon for fun. at 70% off retail, most of the time i can sell them after a year and still break even. not to mention 6 months free interest by using an amazon store card. knowing how amazon operates, likely price will go up soon and at $1,299 it is at fire sale. over all, the watch is decent and even comes with blank registration card. not a major issue since b&m uses contractors in the US for watch repair rather than its own service team. basic eta 7750 movement that is quite popular by its peers in such price range. in summary, buy it for the price and fun. not much collective value. b&m is like your entry level BMW that every mailman probably has one. - Chronograph - Sport Watch'

Standard Batteries - blackberry, 8330

Luckily (because of the price) I bought 2 of these because 1 barely lasts the day with limited use. If I actually use the phone to call people or listen to music I have to make sure I bring my spare (which it's hard to keep both charged as I can only charge when it's in the phone). I wish I would have bought a normal-capacity battery instead of this cheap low-cap one. Replacement Blackberry Standard Lithium-ion Replacement Battery Cs2 Cs-2 for RIM Blackberry 8330 8310 8320 8300 Curve Smartphone

The battery I received only holds a charge that is the same as my old battery that I was trying to replace. I've had to recharge the new battery about every day. I'm wondering if I really got a "new" battery...doesn't appear so. I guess I got what I paid for.

This battery looks like the real thing, but its performance is lacking. It doesn't begin to hold a charge like an Original Equipment battery. Under 'standard' usage, it requires a charge every day (minimal phone talk time, mostly email) while the original battery lasted two to three days. As a backup battery, it's sufficient. For a replacement, spring for the original from the manufacturer. The best thing I can say about this battery is that I didn't pay a lot, and... you get what you pay for!

CEB

I ordered two of these. One for me and one for my son. one is not working and the top fell off too. It took only one hour to charge up, but only last about an hour too. When I made a call, the battery went dead.

They arrived with normal speed. But with the defect rate this high, I have to give it a thumb down.

Came earlier than expected. Came in a small zip lock bag inside a plain manila envelope. Battery has scratches on it and clearly is used and not new as represented. It needed charging and has been working fine since I got it. Disappointed with the misrepresentation as new. - Blackberry - Curve - 8330 - Battery'

Demolition - recipricating saw, reciprocating saw

I do not use power tools in my line of work. However, I do have an appreciation for good quality equipment. I also believe that having the right tool can make even a home improvement project much more enjoyable. I bought this tool to cut some metal pipes and also some PVC pipes. Sure, I could have done the job with a hack saw. But, using a hand tool would have meant lots of patience and hassle. What would have taken a lot of time, sweat, hassle, and aggravation only took a few minutes with the Sawzall. The unit operated silently and it did not have as much vibration as I had expected for a unit with no counterbalance.A reciprocating saw is a very versatile tool even if you do not intend to do any kind of demolition. In addition to cutting pipes, you can also cut landscape timber and prune trees. Basically, you can use the Sawzall for just about anything that you would normally use a hand saw. The Sawzall came with two blades. One for metal and one for wood. It also came with a wrench to adjust the shoe. All of that came in a red kit box. The high quality kit box itself is made of sturdy, blown red plastic. The power cord is thicker than what I saw in competing brands at the same price range. The red Milwaukee kit box also seems sturdier, and there is a place inside that is specifically designed to hold extra blades. Most importantly, the saw itself looks and feels the way a heavy duty tool should. This kit defines high quality for a reasonable price. There were plenty of DeWalts, Hitachis, and Makitas at Lowe's. I chose the Milwaukee because I wanted to try out their brand. I suspect that any brand would have sufficed for my modest needs. This Sawzall might be a bit of an overkill for my intended use. However, I believe you will not regret buying more quality than you need.It is a hassle to have to drag out the orange extension cord. I chose a corded model because I wanted to have enough run time and power in order to be able to complete any project that might come my way. I was also hesitant to buy a cordless kit which would require a lot more investments in batteries in the future. If your intended use is strictly light duty, then perhaps a cordless model might be a more convenient choice. For its quality, reputation, design, package, and value, this Sawzall gets a five star rating from me. At a price of 119.99, this saw would be tough to beat. The closest competitor, in terms of power ratings, features, and price would be the Hitachi 13V. However, based on what I have seen of Hitachi's cases, I chose the Milwaukee. I place a lot of value on the design and quality of the case, as well as aesthetics. Milwaukee 6509-22 Sawzall 11 Amp Reciprocating Saw

I have an old Sawzall...it came in a metal case rather than a plastic one. Everything mentioned about it in the other reviews is true, it's a very versatile tool. It will seemingly cut through anything...my son whacked off a Master padlock in about five seconds recently. You should plan on buying blades, lots of blades! Because it's so versatile, one is tempted to undertake a cutting task with the wrong blade, which can be frustrating if not dangerous. So always match the blade to the task.

I would not advise this as one's first or only power saw. It's really not meant for long, straight cuts, although you can do them with practice. But as a second saw, for demolition, for large branch trimming, pipe and metal cutting, it's a gem. This is the right tool for so many jobs!

It cuts metal, wood, plastic, plumbing, wood with nails, sheetrock, things burried in the ground. It's simply amazing.

Want to take out a wall with the smallest mess possible? Slip the blade between the studs and cut the nails. Slip the blade between the top plate and cut the nails. Boom, the wall will now push out of the opening with all the plaster or drywall intact (and without all the dust you get from hammering drywall out of the way).

Any of Milwaukee brand Sawzall that has a counterweighted motor (this is important for controlling vibration and being able to cut one handed) is a joy to use.

After I bought one, I wondered how I ever managed to work without one.

I was disappointed in the power of this saw. It's partially my mistake for not getting the "Super Sawzall", but I saw that this was 11 amp, which to me means it should pack a punch. My older Sawzall is 11 amp and it seems to have much more power than this one. Besides this one being weak, it has a really crappy stamped metal foot that I expect will be bent in a couple of weeks work. The cord is short, and not replacable.

For the $40 difference between this and the "Super" Sawzall, which is 13amp and has the better adjustable foot and longer, replacable cord, I would recommend going with the more powerful one, even if you only use it once in a while. If you're using it regularly, this one isn't worth your time.

Milwaukee shouldn't put their name on crap like this.

There is not much to think about here - this is the brand the pro's use and it's for a good reason. Milwaukee sets the bar for all others to reach toward when it comes to reciprocating saws. I did my research like I always do, but this was an easy decision and I'm very happy with the saw. You'll want to pick up some blades before you start a project though. Pick up one of the variety blade sets for starters and then buy bulk once you know what you need.

being an auto techncian for 16 years i know the value of quality tools. time is money! you can buy a lower amp tool for less money but the time and frustation isn't worth it. i use this saw for mostly for metal cutting, and it cuts like a hot knife through butter, so you know what it can do with wood and plastic! Don't get frustrated, buy quality and power-milwaukee! And for the price nobody can touch this sawzall! - Milwaukee - Milwaukee Sawzall - Recipricating Saw - Reciprocating Saw'

Mobile Phone - curve, accessory

While not an essential, this thin, easy-to-use skin adds a scosh of protection, improved grippability, and improved stability on smooth surfaces to my Curve. It also makes the phone a bit less likely to fall out of a breast pocket. The holes for various ports (and the camera) are perfect. Not quite as rubbery as I'd expected. I'm glad I got it.

Available in a wide variety of colors, but black goes with everything. BlackBerry Skin for BlackBerry Curve (Black)

I'm very happy with this skin. It is a smooth black rubber, with an embossed "Blackberry" logo on the back. It is very sleek and adds very little bulk, yet seems to provide a nice level of protection (I dropped my Curve with this on and it's still working just fine). One question I had as I was shopping was whether or not this includes a face protector for the Curve. It does not -- the face is not protected, so you may want to order separate face protectors to avoid scratching. The skin provides good access to all buttons, including the popular "standby" button on top, and the two slots on top that I haven't figured out why they exist yet (cooling?).

This skin adds a nice bit of protection to my BB Curve. It slips on easily and amazingly has only come off on rare occasions. It is soft and easy to grip but I do have some gripes.

I carry my Curve in my pocket. When I wear pants it is no problem but I can't carry the curve in jeans when it is in this skin.

1) It doesn't offer protection to the screen and keyboard. I know that would make it hard to use but it is something to consider.

2) The edges constantly flop around and catch on things. As I take it out of my jeans pocket it grabs the edge of the jeans pocket, comes off and flops around.

So I give it 4 stars. It is better than nothing but I have ordered a hard case. I will see if that works better.

It adds a nice cover to my BB curve. While it adds a nice cover to curve

I have the Curve 8330, and the cover doesn't really fit well. I feel like a lot of the sides are still out in the open and just waiting to be scratched up. I love the way the case feels though, just wish it fit better.

The blackberry skin is a good protection for the phone without adding a lot of bulk. With the skin, the phone still fits in the leather case that clips to my purse. It is soft and does not add grip but does add protection. Overall I really like it.

Skin actually saved my blackberry. Left the house and drove about 1/4 mile and realized had left Blackberry at home. Went home...no blackberry. Went to car and it was on roof of the car. Had driven 1/2 mile with it up there and only reason it didn't fall off was skin. - 8300 - Accessory - Curve - Blackberry Skin'

Instruments - digital recorder, good value

Lets see, the recorder works perfect! Good sound and quality... BUT has one mayor issue, you can't connect to the PC trough a USB port. The only way is with a Mini Stereo Jack, and here comes the problem, since the only way to passed your recording to the PC, are on real time, I mean, after you connect the recorder, you must press the "play button" and start to record all the files on to your computer, So if you record 50 hours, 50 hours will take you passed the file to your PC. Not such a good and fast way. Other than that, the voice recorder work perfect.

If you are plaining on buy it, please take this in consideration.! Sony ICD-BX700 Digital Voice Recorder with Stereo Microphone Jack

The Sony ICD-bx700 is the same exact recorder as the ICD-px720 EXCEPT it does not have a usb port for fast/easy transfers of files to a computer AND it's silver instead of black. Cost difference between the two is about $10-$20 so once you decide whether you need a usb port or not the decision is a no brainer. Both Recorders have SHQ + HQ mode which allow recordings in stereo BUT only if you're using an external stereo mic like Sony's ecm-ds70p which I do use with them and recomend. Sound quality on these recorders is excellent in SHQ or HQ modes and HQ mode on them compared to HQ mode on Sony's cheaper/older icd-b300/b400/b600 models is MUCH MUCH better with no unwanted hiss like on those lower models. The built-in mics are quite sensitive and do a much better job then the Olympus VN-5000 which isn't a bad recorder either. I do have Sony's external stereo mic (ecm-ds70p) that I mentioned and not only does it allow fairly great Stereo recordings for a budget price but quite noticeably improves sound sensitivity + overall SQ.

The external mic is certainly not a necessity though since these recorders do have sensitive + good quality built-in mics but it will allow stereo recordigs + improve SQ and take an already excellent recorder to another level.

In short decide whether you need a usb port or not and get the corresponding model ICD-bx700 or ICD-px720 because except for that they are the same exact thing and for the money can't be beat. Very good quality and very satisfied with both of them!

Though I haven't used this as maybe it was intended as a voice recorder, this little guy has done me well since I bought it. For me, its best use i to practice brass instruments into it and get instant feedback. Granted, it's not the best sound I would come to expect, but I realize I'm not playing into a $1,000 mic either. With the mic sensitivity on low, I get excellent results playing directly at the unit - the levels work well considering.

The only thing I wish it could do was playback or USB transfer to a computer. The model above this wouldn't have helped me either as it appears to be PC only.

Overall, nice little piece of equipment. I take it with me in my horn case all the time!

The recorder has a nice sensibility without causing noise. Works for all my needs and is easy to carry and operate. I bought it to replace my old tape recorder and I have plenty of features and time to record in 5 different folders. The battery life is very good and I'm very satisfied for the price and functionality.

I have owned many of these DVRs from Sony. I always got the one that could be used to download voice files to the PC via USB cable. However in the past 2 years I have fried 3 of them in connecting via USB. I've called Sony and complained etc. Always out of the warranty period - last time 20 days out of it! So this time i bought this one without the connection so i wouldn't pay the extra $20. (I use it for lectures, speech practising, and note taking so I don't need to save the recordings long term although i do miss the PC software - very nice.) So here are the improvements:

1) it has a very large capacity (double my previous one). it takes a long time to fill it up with recordings.

2) it saves the date when the battery dies! a constant annoyance before to enter the date and time.

3) the battery lasts a lot longer time!

4) it turns "off" automatically - perhaps why the battery last so much longer. Use the hold button too just in case in gets bumped.

So although it looks like previous generations - this is much better product. Pay the extra $20 for version with SW if you need to save the recordings - just make sure you don't have anything else on USB ports. That was the last piece of advice i got.

Bought this recorder to replace an old TAPE recorder to use in my work (commercial surveys). It was MUCH better than I had hoped and the price was excellent. Recorder arrived on time and in secure packaging. Sound quality is very good and it is easy to return to the beginning of the previous session. Instructions were mostly very straightforward. I am very pleased.

This is a good recorder. Really easy to use and has very good quality recording and sound. Batteries are lasting pretty well, I only have one bar left on the battery meter and I have been using it quite often for two weeks now. I also got it for a good price on amazon, six dollars cheaper than Wal-Mart and I got free shipping because it was over $25. - Digital Voice Recorders - Voice Recorder - Good Value - Digital Recorder'

Fabric Deodorizer

This is a fun product to use. When you open the patch, you get a barely moist paper cloth. Then a doubt creeps in. After all, how can a single moist paper cloth clean the dirt off of my clothes in 20 minutes worth of drying?

After 20 minutes, my clothes were fresh smelling and clean. It was really impressive.

I higly recommend this product for light dry cleaning. But if you must get a heavy duty professional quality dry cleaning, then the professional dry cleaning is still the best. After all, they use industrial grade concentrated chemicals which can't be used in consumer products.

Highly Recommended (works really well):

1)Dark shirts with no heavy stains.

2)Dark pants with no heavy stains.

recommended (works reasonably well):

1)Light shirts with no heavy stains.

2)Light pants with no heavy stains.

Leave it to professional dry cleaners:

1)Any cloths with heavy stains.

2)Jackets and heavy clothing.

3)Any important clothing which must have spotless cleaning. Woolite Dry Cleaner's Secret Dry Cleaning Cloths, 14-Count Box

I got a sample of this first, then tried it out. This is a great product for sweaters, jackets, and other items that usually get sent to the Dry Cleaner. It works great in the dryer. Please be careful when trying to remove spots. If I follow the directions correctly, the spot remover works well.

The cost savings have been HUGE for my wife and I. Try the one sheet for yourself, then I am sure you will come back and buy the bigger package.

I love this product - I don't expect it to "clean" my clothes the way the professionals using perch' do, but for a "freshening up" it's great. Pop up to 4 items in the dryer and 20 minutes later, they're wrinkle free on the hanger and smell great until my next trip to the cleaners to really clean them. Excellent for getting de-wrinkling slacks or getting smoke-stench out of a jacket or freshening up a wool sweater. You can't overload the dryer, tho, or your clothes will be wrinkled and the product doesn't work.

I work in a Manhattan office and wear dry clean only clothing almost every day. My bills would be immense without this stuff! It rocks. Seriously. I mean how often do people gush about a laundry product?

This has no bags or expensive starter kits like with Dryel. You get a bunch of sheets saturated with cleaner, like thick damp dryer sheets.

You dab off any small smudges, then toss 4-5 pieces of similar colored clothing in the dryer for half an hour with the cleaning sheet.

Hang your clothes up overnight (or for a few minutes if you're like me and end up doing it in the morning!) and they look smooth and reshaped, and smell fresh.

Works great for anything that isn't actually grimy, just out of shape or wrinkled. Now I take my garments to the real dry cleaner every three or four wearings. My job requires a neat and professional appearance, and this stuff does the trick!

Besides the obvious savings, it's less time spent going to the dry cleaner. I buy clothes without fear of the time and expense of cleaning them. And if I want to wear my favorite skirt on a whim, I can. I don't have to wait until I have time to get it to the cleaner.

Obviously, use your common sense. Badly stained or sweaty garments won't work. And if you have a super expensive power suit, take it to an expensive cleaner.

But if your moderately priced dry clean clothing often ends up wrinkled but basically clean, buy this and save. It's never ruined or even damaged an article of my clothing, and for what I'm saving, I could replace the occasional garment if it ever did.

I purchased this product based on the many positive reviews here, and I was very disappointed.

I followed the directions for the product and used one cloth for one two-piece suit. The suit had no stains, but it did have a light odor under the arms, which this "cleaning" cloth did not remove or even mask. The only thing this cloth did was give the whole suit a very light fragrance. I don't see how this would remove any staining at all.

If you are looking for something to re-fresh your clothing, I would recommend tossing your clothing in the dryer for 15 min with a microfiber (lint-free) damp cloth with a couple of sprays of your favorite perfume. The effect will be the same, and you will save money and save the environment another piece of trash.

I have tried Dryel in the past for home dry-cleaning and I am going to go back to it. Dryel makes a much more effective product that actually CLEANS!

I would not recommend this product!

I use these cleaning sheets ALL the time and they're great! They don't handle everything (suits needing pressing, special clothing such as coats or other items which really do need an occasional dry cleaning) BUT for daily clothing you wear regularly and want cleaned or freshened but wish to avoid shrinking, fading, or loss of sizing (all those darling cotton summer dresses and skirts, delicates in silk or linen, black jeans, nice tech clothing, mens' dressy shirts, etc.) - - this can't be beat.

Dry Cleaner's Secret is also extremely easy to use. No putting stuff in bags. Just place 7 or 8 clothing items directly in the dryer and throw in one sheet. Twenty minutes later, your clothes are fresh and clean. No ironing, just hang 'em up or fold - they come out pretty neat. (You can iron if you're into that sort of thing. I hate to iron!)

Beware: once a stain is "set", this product can't work miracles, so always take care of a stain immediately. While the directions say you can apply a moist Dry Cleaning sheet directly to a stain to lift it out before throwing an item in the dryer to dry clean, I've not had the best of luck with more difficult stains using that method.

SO, I wholeheartedly recommend one other product, which I guarantee you won't regret. It's the Tide Bleach Pen. I keep one in my makeup bag at all times. It's saved my clothing more times than I can count. Just apply immediately after stains occur, and most will lift right out of the cloth before your eyes, and fast. Works on colors or light/white clothing. I've successfully removed ink, grass, wine, and food stains.

I love it when I find products which actually make my life easier!'

Action Adventure

I feel bad not giving this game five stars, it's certainly one of the best I've seen in a long time and I can't believe I haven't heard more buzz about it. I bought the game based on the other reviews here, and I have to say, they're right on target.Deus Ex really delivers serious gaming fun. It's like a game with an X-Files-esque plot (without the aliens), Rogue Spear gaming (strategic FPS), and Soldier of Fortune(action-oriented FPS). It really delivers and gives the player the opportunity to take a balls-out, guns blazing approach or a more stealthy, sneaky method to get what you need done (either way, you get just as much skill points, so you're not penalized for not getting a maximum body count). The graphics are great. Nothing particularly revolutionary (as with Vampire) but definitely nothing to complain about. Generally very smooth with lots of detail, nice lighting, good atmosphere (you really don't see this on a lot of the screenshots). The plasma gun really has a nice effect, as do the grenades, but when things blow up (like crates) it's just a bunch of polygons (yawn). I guess we can't expect all games to have the detail (and gore) of Soldier of Fortune. There are a few holes in the plot (such as it's feasibility), but with a little willful suspension of disbelief, it's rather engrossing. (I've had more than my fair share of 5+/hour playing sessions with this puppy.) Travelling from New York to Hong Kong to Nevada, you'll see plenty of places and meet enough interesting characters to keep you going. I don't know if different responses to conversations give you significant variances in the plot, but it's interesting all the same--especially the different ways you can solve your missions.I've become very picky in terms of the games I buy, I don't have a lot of time to play them and I don't have a lot of money to spend on them, so they've got to be good. This is one of those games I am delighted to have bought and -certainly- recommend to others. The only reason this didn't get five stars is because of the unplausible premise in the plot and the lack of anything really ground-breaking in the realm of gaming (though, I'll admit, this is one of the best games I've ever seen at really having the feel of an authentic RPG.) Deus Ex

I've played well received games such as System Shock 2, Thief 1 and 2, Half-Life, and Baldur's Gate, and since this game is definitely competitive with them, I'm giving it 5 stars. As you probably heard, Deus Ex allows players to approach missions in a number of different ways. I usually try for the sneaky Thief-style approach, so I'm not sure how well the game would play if you are the shoot-em-up Quake type. But if you like sniping and avoiding patrols Deus Ex is excellent.Although some of the missions toward the middle and end are repetitive and similar, there are many missions which I found extremely compelling. Here is an example: Someone, whom you are not sure you can trust, tells you that a woman has stolen a sword and that you should get it back. When you talk to the woman, it seems everything is in place, and she says the evidence of her innocence is held in a locker at the local military-police station. You can either break into the police station, or look around for more clues in her apartment... On another mission you are supposed to rescue the daughter of a scientist who is being held captive. However, she will be killed if her captors realize you are coming. I found it fairly difficult but satisfying to complete the mission successfully, but it is no problem if you fail. You can even kill her yourself if you feel like it. A third quick example: You must destroy four military robots attacking an installation. Quake types might just try to destroy the bots directly, Thief types will probably choose to activate the defensive military bots which the attackers locked down and have them kill the enemy bots.Hand in hand with these choices are the skill and augmentation system. As you progress, you can choose to develop your character to better fit your style of play. For instance, you can upgrade your weapons skills, to kill enemies better, or your lock picking so you won't need to. Each mission can be played successfully in different ways, but remember to be realistic when designing your characters. You won't always be able to get on a rooftop and take out a guard from 500ft away with a headshot from your sniper rifle. The flexibility required and better dialog options keeps the gameplay from getting repetitive as it seemed (to me) to in games like Thief, System Shock, or Half-Life.My favorite part of the game was the plot. It may have the best plot of any game I have played! UNATCO (the UN force), the NSF (a terrorist organization), the Illuminati, Majestic-12, Silhouette: if you liked the conspiracies in the X-Files, this game's plot is up your alley. My disclaimer: This game performed very well on my machine, with minimal crashes (maybe 2 from beginning to end), and seemed to have very impressive and smooth graphics, but I have an Athlon 700 w/256MB ram and a Geforce (only SDR w 32mb). Other people are saying performance is poor on slower systems.

Quite simply if you adored Half Life, Thief and System Shock 2 then you will love this as it is a mix of all 3. Go and buy one of the greatest games ever written NOW!Every First Person Shooter Fan should be with this game and it does more for its genre with nice touches like being able to complete levels in different ways and having targeting on your gun. I like these new ideas and its good to see. The game feels fresh and has lasting appeal. It is tough going but has similar traits to the aforemetioned games. SS2 - It has a similar character building theme taking a Hacker, Stealth or Heavy Approach. You look at items using the same interface method and inventory is similar.Half Life - You get to shoot a lot of excellant AI computer characters, maybe the best AI yet?? The story and plot is also deep and riviting. Nice to have both the shooting and stategy/stealth element to a game.Thief - Obviously theres the stealth mode and you can carry bodies so enemies wont see them. Silent killing with crossbow. This game takes 3 of the best FPS games of its genre and mixes them together with its own original ideas. Finally there may be a game to beat all 3 and in my opinion this is the bench mark in FPS Adventure games. What are you waiting for - Go Buy Deus ex! (pronounced Due Sex)'

Dickies Skinny Pants

These are great pants. I appreciate the functionality of these, but they're also a great shape. They did shrink (especially in length) over time, but they're still working out for me, and I'm glad I bought them. Highly recommended. Dickies Girls Juniors' Stretch Twill 2 Back Pocket Pant, Black, Size 13

These do run big, but they WILL shrink. They will shrink in length and in the waist. I bought my regular size and they were huge. After I washed and dried them a few times they fit perfectly. They do have some stretch to them as well and sit below the belly button. The bottoms are slightly flared. I recommend these for anyone needs khakis or work uniform pants.

I really like these pants. They fit wonderfully and are great for work. Nice and durable, just be weary about drying them in the dryer. The only aspect affected by drying was the length, I am 5'7" and they fit wonderfully before I accidently sent them through the dryer. Good value, just be careful not to dry unless they are to long.

I've searched & searched all over for the perfect work pants. Tried several models & none of them feel, fit, or live up to these. They are very sturdy & comfortable for work. I keep coming back for more. God knows what I'll do if Amazon stop selling these!'

Ice Cube Tray - ice, ice cube trays

These are the best Ice trays I have ever used. They are made of a little softer plastic so they twist very easily and the ice pops right out. The trays do not get brittle and I do not think that they will crack like others I have had. The ice cubes are smaller but the tray is longer so that the ice is made fairly quickly. To my surprise they are made in the U.S. so I don't have to worry about any funky chemicals that the Chinese are using in their plastics. I know they are just Ice trays but they really make life a little easer. Rubbermaid White Ice Cube Tray (Pack of 6)

I thought that I wanted some vintage style ice cube trays with the lever. The trail somehow led to these strictly utilitarian trays and I was intrigued by all the positive reviews. People LOVE these trays and now, so do I! Here's why: You can stack them high on the shelf on the door and they DON'T DRIP all over the floor!

I used to try to make ice cubes right before bed so the door would stay closed long enough for the cubes to freeze or risk getting water all over the floor (and my foot). Now I can make ice (and lots of it) any time of day. They also release the ice well. This is a really well designed product.

I bought these items recently and so far they are amazing. A simple twist of the wrist completely empties the ice tray. The effort is so little that there is no comparision with others I have used(including those supplied by Rubbermaid). I wish I had known about these when I bought the blue ones.

I purchased these Ice Cube Trays to use with homemade baby food. I make a large batch, freeze in ice cube trays and transfer to freezer bags. These trays ARE BPA free, I visited Rubbermaid's website to find out. Each cube holds about 1 Tablespoon of food/liquid. Ice pops out of these trays very easily, but baby food takes a little work as it does not really freeze completely solid. I just twist the tray and then slip a table knife gently down the side of each cube and the food pops out. I don't think that there is an ice cube tray that doesn't require a little extra work to get baby food out, even the silicone trays designed for baby food take a little finagling. The trays stack well and can go through the top rack of the dishwasher, so that makes life easy. I am very pleased with these trays overall, and gave 5 stars as I am using the trays for a job other than their designated purpose.

My previous ice cube trays were a nightmare. The ice would not willingly come out - I had to bend and twist the stupid thing into a pretzel and only one cube would break in half and the bottom portion remained. I ran water over the bottom of the tray and still only one or two would begrudgingly fall out.

Not these trays! Apply water, freeze, twist, ice cubes! With the first minor contortion of the tray all the cubes very happily pop up, ready and willing to be placed into your beverage. You may not think that this is a big deal, but when you go from spending 5 minutes cursing and fighting to get two cubes of ice, to a bounty of ice magically springing forth, it makes a big difference in your drinking experience!

These are by far the best ice cube trays I have used. If you are like me and do not like dealing with ice trays to begin with and are easily fustrated when the crack or the ice does not come out easily, then these are your item. Yes they are not the cheapest, but they work very well and will last. - Kitchen Utensils - Kitchen Gadgets - Ice Cube Trays - Ice'

Digital Camera Accessory - 16 gb, memory card

I purchased this for use with my new Canon T2i. I use it primarily for shooting full resolution 1080p video, although I shoot stills as well.

The camera choked on the class 4 chip that I originally purchased, but with this one, it is amazing. I can shoot rapidfire 18 megapixel stills (I've tested it up to 30+ shots in a row), and there is no lag. I've never had an error when shooting hi-def video.

Highly recommended! I'm buying another one. Transcend 16GB Class 10 SDHC Card (TS16GSDHC10)

I bought this card for my Canon T1i. The card I had been using before ordering this one was a Kingston Class 6 micro sd card and it worked well enough for the type of shooting I did. Class 6 was the card speed that Canon recommended when I bought my T1i (Class 10 cards were not yet available) and it seemed fast enough for the way I used my camera - isolated single photos taken at Medium (8 MP) or Large (15 MP) jpg settings and 1280 x 720 video. And while I ocassionally took continuous photos, I had never much exceeded 5-10 photos in a row and had never run into a problem with my Class 6 card.

When I first saw the Class 10 cards I did some experiments with my camera. How many continuous Large photos could I take before the camera slowed down? It turned out to be about 30. And how many RAW photos could I take before the camera slowed down? It turned out to be about 9. SInce I did not generally take any photos in RAW and never needed more than about 10 continuous photos at Large, the Class 6 card seemed more than sufficient for my needs. But I wondered about the speed of the Class 10 cards enough that I finally bought one.

It turns out that the Class 10 card is sufficiently fast that there does not seem to be a reasonable upper limit on single Large photos. I have taken 60 on continuous without an issue. And although I still cannot take more than 9 RAW photos on continuous with the Class 10 card, when I am finished taking those photos the camera no longer displays a Wait - writing pictures screen. The RAW photos get written from the built-in memory to the card so quickly that the camera does not need to display the Wait screen.

So this card is fast! Given the way I take photos this purchase was unnecessary, but still I am glad I bought it. I know I will not run into a situation where speed is an issue with this card.

I will be writing this review for both SanDisk Extreme SDHC class 10 8gb and Transcend SDHC class 10 16gb.

I bought SanDisk class 10 and Transcend class 10 for my new Panasonic LX5. I got both card because no one really did a comparison with a compact camera and I was just going crazy trying to see if there is any big difference between the 2 cards.

SanDisk Extreme package box indicated it's water proof, x-ray proof, shock proof, temperature proof. I am not ready to spend $50 to see if it really stand up to it's words. And I don't think normal people would go through the extreme condition in taking pictures or videos.

Cut the story short, I really want to see if there is any difference in writing performance between the 2 cards in a compact camera. There is a continuous burst mode in LX5 and the manual indicated it is only limited by the condition of picture environment and performance of the SD card. Within the mode there are 2 different settings:1) speed priority or 2) picture/quality priority. The shutter speed is much faster with speed priority compare to picture priority.

I first formatted both cards out of box then put each card in series of test(3 rounds each setting for each card) shooting at the same object under same lighting condition. The results:

Speed Priority:

SanDisk Class 10 8gb

22-33 shots before camera stopped to allow the card to catch up with writing.

Transcend Class 10 16gb

22-24 shots before camera stopped to allow the card to catch up with writing.

Picture priority

SanDisk Class 10 8gb

34-46 shots before camera stopped

Transcend Class 10 16gb

27-33 shots before camera stopped

It seems that at a higher shutter speed, both cards performed very similar under the same shooting condition. But at a slower shutter speed the SanDisk definitely out perform Transcend. I hope this little experiment satisfied anyone with curiosity like me. Transcend definitely is a bargain with 16gb and almost half of the price compare to SanDisk. But I am going to use SanDisk Extreme as my primary card and Transcend as backup or on a second camera to ensure i would not miss any shots.

OK. this card was around $47 for a class 10 16gb. The other card i bought was a Sandisk class 10 8gb for the around same price. I did a 10 sec stop watch test on both cards with my Rebel T1i on raw and the Sandisk was only faster by 1 shot in a 10 sec burst. to me it seems trivial to pay 47 bucks for a Sandisk 8gig when you can get 16 gigs for the same price. yes i know, the Sandisk is good for arctic and desert temperatures... but i live in western NY... not Antarctica or the Sahara. If your looking for a good card, with more gigs for your buck, the Transcend is well worth it.

The "C10" is for "minimum sustaining speed" of 10mbps. The sustaining speed is critical if you're using for HD camcorder. There is other brand card that is also c10 but it costs more (2x) for its print of 30mbps on the card. It leads consumers into thinking that the higher price is worth for the 30mbps. However, the 30mbps is the "burst" speed. Burst speed is critical for HD camera and for doing copies. I have a HD camcorder and I'm very satisfied with this card after many hours for recording. I bought this card to do 100% of recording so it is the right price. I would buy the other high price brand card of 30mbps if I will do a lot of picture taking. The bottom line is to buy for the purpose of your usage. - Memory Card - Class 10 - Sdhc - 16 Gb'

Responsibility Chart - personal organizers, responsibility chart

This is a great dry erase board. It is very versatile and I really like that it has a to do list, notes and days of the week section. It really helps me organize my week and figure out what I need to accomplish each week. It also comes with two magnets. The foam bottom is the one feature that I don't like as much, I wish that it was corkboard, but the purple color looks nicer than the brown would have. Board Dudes Unframed Magnetic Notes To Do, Magnetic Dry Erase Board, 14 x 14 Inches (13851UA-4)

This magnetic dry erase board is bright, well designed and fits nicely on the refrigerator. It's an easy way to stay organized. I especially like the three column format which allows sufficient space for "notes," "to do" and this week." There is also a piece of foam board across the bottom on which to tack notes and papers. It comes with a dry erase black pen and two magnets. You might want to buy a white board eraser at an office supply store that is also magnetic so it will stick to the refrigerator to make it easier to add and subtract items from your board. A good value for the money. Board Dudes Unframed Magnetic Notes To Do, Magnetic Dry Erase Board, 14 x 14 Inches (13851UA-4)

Great little organizer. Not business white board quality, but if you're not going to play tennis with it than it's more than capable of lasting years on your fridge. Has great calendar and to do list, plenty of room to write. Perfect!

Love this board. I was looking for something lightweight to replace the board that had fallen off my refrigerator again and this one caught my eye. It is lightweight and stays put very well with the included magnetic fasteners on my refrigerator. It's large size makes it easy for me to write everything I need to on it, from to do lists to lists of groceries. So glad the old smaller board fell off the frig, this one is just exactly right.

This thing is perfect for someone who has a lot to do and a bad memory! I mainly got it for a grocery list builder for the fridge, but ended up using it for all sorts of things. Like errands and Dr's appointments...overall great way to organize your time a little better.

My cousin who is obsessively detail orientated found this and I noticed it when I went to her house. I fell in love with it and ordered it the next day! The 3 column format is fantastic. And the magnets that were included work fine. Mine had a small scratch on the upper left corner but nothing to impair the use. My only real complaint is that the weekly list starts with Monday and not Sunday. At our house our weekly schedule runs Sunday-Saturday because of my work schedule so having Sunday last can get confusing. It's great for communication in our house because my Husband and I are often on different schedules. Other than that it's a wonderful product and looks great on the fridge too! It doesn't make the kitchen look like an office, like many other dry erase boards do!

My only other complaint is the shipping for this item is beyond excessive. The shipping was more than 50% of the purchase price, plus I had to pay sales tax as well, so a $10 item went to almost $18 after tax and shipping.

Item was received in timely fashion. Had small dent at top left corner - nothing worth sending back over. Lines on product could have been a bit darker. If you are not directly in front of the product, it's hard to see the days of the week and the lines. Otherwise, good item. - Dry Erase Boards - Personal Organizers - Responsibility Chart'
