I love these! They are high quality, and the image selection is awesome. There's even a couple of images for each major holiday, which is a bonus because now I don't need any holiday plates. I would suggest ignoring the negative review on this product which says the plates are scratched and the images are not deep enough to produce a stamped picture. The plates have a fine plastic cover on them that needs to be peeled off prior to the first use. And indeed the plastic cover does make the plates look scratched up, and the plates are impossible to use without removing that cover. Once the plastic is peeled off, you'll find a mirror finish plate underneath with high quality images that work wonderfully.

I have been looking for Konad ever since my friend purchased them a year ago. I finally bought them from the online site and BOY did they COST ALOT. The plates are almost $7 each! Crazy? Overall, it's a great product! But there is only ONE FATAL, AND I MEAN FATAL, FLAW. Just keep in mind, SIZE MATTERS.



Pros:

-Awesome variety. Many types of designs for different occassions, seasons, holidays, ect. Whatever you need.

-Great price! Can't beat this anywhere else. (Trust me I looked).

-Designs come out crisp and clean. Haven't had an issue with the images yet. Awesome quality for the price.

-I frikkin love it!



Cons:

-OK HERE IS THE FATAL FLAW. I'm asian (not to be racist) and have VERY small hands and my fingernails are generally short. My hands are smaller then my neighbor's 8 year old son. TINY. And the plates that have the full designs (such as the stripes, stars, ect)dont completely cover my nails. Unlike the konad designs (with room for no error), dont expect the whole image to cover/fit on your nails. Once you try to compeltely cover it, it looks terrible. Just killed it for me...

-Once again with my hands, TINY. French tips are diffacult to use. Pretty small size. It's workable for me but...I expect others to struggle.

-The plates are pretty thin compared to their Konad counterparts, be careful. I actually cut myself once. The edges are sharp and thin...think razor. Take caution when you first remove the plastic covers and when in use. ESPECIALLY around children.

I have a love hate relationship with these plates. I love them because they do their job perfectly. The nail stamp comes out clear and detailed on your nails. Also these plates fit nicely into the Konad plate holder, if you already have one. I must admit I was a bit worried about that. Oh and the designs are amazing. You get a wide variety of designs from French to full nail to even some holiday designs.



The reason why I hate them is because practically every time I use these I end up slicing my fingers on them. The plates are thin and sharp, so be extra careful when handling them, especially when you first take off that dreaded plastic coating that has no desire to come off nicely. Patience is needed here!



Also to note these plates where so thin and sharp they ripped the original packaging. So when they arrived they were scattered throughout the box. Luckily they were all accounted for except I ended up with a duplicate plate. Normally I wouldn't mind but this is plate #BM07 the one with the weed leaf. Clearly this design is not my cup of tea.

I was so excited when I found this product here on Amazon. The price I paid was amazing and being a Prime customer I got free two-day shipping. My final price ended up being 9.99 which is absolutely amazing for a 25 piece collection! These are the same plates as Bundle Monster (the plates even say "BM" on them...) but for an incredibly better price!



When I received them, I was a little wary because the package they were inside was ripped open and the plates were loose inside the box. This is because there are just so many plates, they were too heavy for the plastic wrap they were in (so, it could be looked at as a good thing!). I dealt with it and took them out to investigate further. Then I became a little worried because they looked scratched and used. However, once I pulled the super thin protective film off, they were perfect and brand new. The edges had been filed down and were not sharp at all (I noticed some people saying they were getting cut by the edges; this was not the case at all for me.)



Now onto the images: I love about 90% of the images. I like to be a little different so many of them appealed to me. Images like the anchor, the peacock, leaves, flowers, and feather were great. The "whole nail" images are perfect for me because I have smaller nail beds and they covered them completely (a little work for the thumb, but nothing too bad). There were, however, some images I would NEVER use, such as the biker flames and the pot leaf. Why would I ever want a pot leaf on my nails?! But for the most part, I loved the images.



I tried them the night I received them. I already had a scraper and a stamper from a nail stamp set I bought at ULTA (by essence) and so I made sure I used the right polishes and stamped away. I absolutely loved the results. So far, every image I've used has been great! I've gotten countless number of compliments on my nails and I look forward to creating more unique looks using these plates.



Ultimately, I give it 4/5 stars and would definitely recommend this to people.

not good!!! the images are not sharp when stamped, however the edges on each disc are sharp enough to cut your finger, the protectant film on each disc is SO difficult and annoying to remove, the images which should cover a whole nail (like the zebra)are so small you can only use it on a pinky finger-not worth it people! - Image Plates - Plates - Bundle Monster - Konad'

I had an old laptop that I purchased back around 1999. After a couple of years of use, the screen broke from excessive opening and closing, so I stopped using it. I figured I would connect a monitor to it at some point and get anything important off of the hard drive before I tossed it out. There was nothing critical on it, but there was some stuff that I did want to retrieve. No hurry. Fast forward to 2010. I'm finally ready to clean out that old hard drive and the damn laptop won't power up now. I tested the supply and it was good, so something else is now wrong with the laptop. Maybe just a battery, but who knows where to get a battery for that old thing? Didn't really want to buy one either. A little reaearch on the internet and low and behold, there are cases you can use to house an internal hard drive like mine. So I buy this thing. A few days later, it comes in the mail. It took me about 5 minutes to get the hard drive installed into the case and connected to a USB port on my Vista machine. It instantly recognised the old hard drive, which is smaller than some jump drives available today. I copied everything from the old drive to the new drive just like that. This case worked perfectly. Mission accomplished. I would recommend this product to anyone with a similar problem. Just make sure you get the right case for your hard drive type. The product quality is substandard. USB connector doesn't line up to allow inserting the connector; the IDE connector is very loose BUT with a little effort and a lot of attention not to break anything (it's so flimsy) it works.

I managed to connect the replaced IDE Dell laptop drive to the laptop and back up all files. If you're looking for a portable rugged external drive, get a Lacie (that's what I use to store data).

It does what it's supposed to do, but it's easy to get out of alignment, and a bit difficult to fit in. Not enough to be a problem, just that it could be a bit better, hence 4 instead of 5 stars.



It's perfect for the cost, though, and a great buy.

I've been using the case for a couple years and it works great. The only problem I've had is that the drive came unplugged inside the case at one point. The drive wasn't recognized when I plugged it into my computer but it was obvious what was wrong when I opened the case. It would be nice to have some way to hold the drive to the end cap to prevent it from being unplugged.

Simple and small, it does what you think it does. Provides a simple enclosure for a 2.5" drive. I had to place a small piece of paper folded up to snug the drive into the enclosure, otherwise you could feel it moving top to bottom slightly. Only works with powered USB ports, haven't had any luck using the ports on my keyboard, etc.



Perfect little drive enclosure, exactly what I wanted.

I gave it 4 stars because [1] It's cheap and [2] it does work.



I didn't give it 5 stars because the one I bought (elsewhere and not here on Amazon) would not recognize the new 320GB hard drive I bought for my HP laptop. I read afterward that it was only good for 300GB or less. So I was unable to use it to create a clone of my old hard drive. I ended up reinstalling Windows on the new drive and then copying files from my old 120GB drive which did work in this enclosure.

The picture with the "Snaplight" word is not the product that I received. Instead, I received a similar product of the "Mayday" brand with a different packaging.



The Snaplight brand is from Cyalume, a more expensive brand. Even though this seller did not put Cyalume anywhere in the description, the pictures are misleading and false. The Snaplight brand also shows a yellow packaging with yellow light which doesn't match the green light description.

I'm the kind of person who likes to test their gear before relying on it in the backwoods, so I cracked one of these as soon as I opened the package. I was easily able to navigate around a pitch-black house and yard, without the benefit of any other artificial light. It was brighter than other glow sticks I've tried (Coleman brand, for example), and was still putting out enough light to read by a full 12 hours later. The plastic walls are angled instead of round, and are thicker than any others I've tried, which means they should hold up well against accidental cracking in the backpack. No lanyards are included, FYI, but I don't consider that too much of a detriment. Overall: great product, very reasonable price.

I bought this set as it came with 10 sticks so i could actually test one before hand. I normally test all my things out before heading into the bush. I set it up at midnight and had it in my room until the next day. Normally with lights its harder to sleep but this light was mediocre at best. It had half strenght light compared to a normal glow stick or other brands/versions like the military grade. If i was trying to signal someone then i would be alright however these should be used as an emergency only type if you do buy them. If i lost my crank light, this would keep me comfort, but dont provide enough light to go wandering with it. At best they get a three out of five mainly for quanity, not quality.

I tested these against an old set of Ever Ready Light Sticks I got from Amazon about 3 years ago. These only lasted about 6 hours where the Ever Ready Lightsticks lasted the full 12 hours. Unfortunately I can't find the Ever Ready on Amazon but hope they bring them back. You can get the Ever Ready brand here: [...]



I hope Amazon will read this and bring in a better supplier and a little testing. I am very disappointed. Now I need to carry twice as many or shell out more money.



Update: I found light sticks that will last 12 hours right here on Amazon and are much brighter they are military grade. Here is the name: "10 Pack NSN 6260-01-074-4229 - 6 in. ChemLight Light Sticks - Green - 12 Hours - Military Grade - Cyalume 9-42290PF".



They are more expensive but in the long run you will get your money back because they do last 12 hours often longer. Hope this helps.

These Light Sticks are very bright and lasted longer than ten hours for us. The light sticks we were sent from "BP Medical Supplies" are yet a different brand than pictured in the Amazon product picture and also in one of the "Customer Images", so I posted a picture of ours.



These light sticks are manufactured for "Ever Ready First Aid" and did not list an expiration date, which is a little bit of a concern for me since these are destined for my emergency kit. As noted above, the light we tested was very bright so they likely are good for several more years since other brands have a listed shelf-life of up to four years.



Although they are not the brand shown I am happy with these, but I also can't recommend them since it is not certain which brand will be sent when next ordered.

Ordered this product, when it came in we tested several of the sticks at 4th of July, and they glowed pretty brightly and with a nice color, but of the 4 we tested 3 burned out in 8hrs and the other only lasted about 9 1/2. Still a good long glow, but not the 12hrs advertised.

The product I received was Safety Bright 6" light stick by Cyalume light technology (made in USA). Ordered from BP Medical supplies, received package via USPS in a bubblewrapped mail envelope with the individual sticks lumped together. The items arrived in fine condition. Price paid $10.77 w/ free shipping.

Like other reviewers, I also received "novelty - entertainment" brand lightsticks from Northern Lights rather than the CYALUME sticks shown in the product image. Now, I have not tested them and for all I know they work great but I don't like these "bait & switch" tactics. If it's marketed as "Emergency/Disaster Preparedness" DON'T send me toys.

I tested a few of these as soon as they arrived. They are sold as "12-Hour" the ones I tested lasted between 3-4 hours at best. None failed to light, but 12-Hour claim is a huge exaggeration. I would not buy these again. Buyer Beware! - Emergency - Preparedness - Emergency Kits - Camping'

I ordered this recorder so I could record a class in which the professor talks extremely fast. I try to sit near the front, and this recorder picks up her voice impressively well. I was worried about background noise, but this recorder does better than expected.

The only thing I would do to improve this recorder is to have a way to put the class on to a computer so I could then put it on my mp3 player. But, maybe there is a way to do this, and I just haven't figured it out yet...

I bought this for my 91-year-old mother, who has macular degeneration and was complaining that she couldn't write notes to herself as reminders because she couldn't read them afterwards. She loves this recorder, which is why I gave it five stars (I haven't seen it, because I live far away). It's small, light, and easy to use. She carries it in her pocket so it will always be handy. She thinks it would be a great gift for anyone, whether they can see or not!

This is a quality product and it works very well. Olympus built a quality voice recorder in this model. The only reason I returned it was because this particular model does not offer the ability to get your recordings off of it and onto your PC. Everything stays on the recorder. But for the price, if you just need to record a meeting or class session for quick playback later this is a great deal! It even comes with its own padded carrying case. It is a good deal if it is what you need!

I love this voice recorder and could not be more pleased. Iv'e always wanted one and found a great one at the best price. It has great fetures with the four different files option and quick reference option to play back just what you want. I will recommend this to anyone.

I do not own this unit. However, for those who want to transfer their recordings to their PC, you should be able to get a cable at Radio Shack or a similar supplier to connect from the headphone jack on the unit to the mic or line in on your PC. If you use a mic or microphone input on the PC, keep the volume low on the Olympus so the sound will not distort. You may have to fiddle a bit to find a balance between background noise and overload distortion. Use whatever recording program you like on your PC to save the sound in whatever format you prefer. If the Olympus uses the low impedance of a set of headphones to automatically turn on, get a Y adapter and plug your headphones into one side and your cable to the PC in the other. Messy, but it should work and you can monitor what is actually coming out of the player to make sure you have something going to your PC!

This little wonder is phenomenal for the price. It is absolutely perfect if you are a nosy wife and don't have a lot of money to spare and are not computer savvy and able to understand how to connect it to a pc the way I don't. It has a timer so you can throw it in your spouse's car under the passenger seat and it has a supersonic hi pick up audio and you set the timer for when it should turn itself on and begin recording and shuts off when you set the timer to shut it off. I have monitored my husband on his boys night out and thank God I only heard his rowdy friends in the car. This is amazing. The batteries arrived from Portable Power Systems punctually and nicely packed. The form factor was as described and they were easily placed into our church's alarm system, where they've silently and steadfastly doing their job. Ask me again in five years how they are doing! This battery works great for my alarm system backup battery. My old battery went through its life span, resulting in the alarm system beeping at me every few days, sometimes even at midnight (very annoying, but I guess it served its purpose well). If you have an Ademco alarm system, "BAT" will show up on your display. I went to the Honeywell website (owns Ademco products), and the replacement battery was around $33 plus shipping! Needless to say, I ordered the battery here and it came in less than a week. Just put it in one day ago and it works great. Please note that it might take a while for the "BAT" error message to disappear. The error on my system took a little while to sense that there was a new battery installed. If you're reading this, you probably already know what you're doing, but the battery goes in a brown box somewhere in your house (you might need a key to open it). I will update if the battery gives me any problems.

I needed a replacement battery for my alarm system. This one is an exact match and the previous one lasted 14 years. I connected it to my system the trouble light cleared and I haven't had a bit of trouble since.

This battery replaced a similar one (exact specs) in my home alarm system. Hooked it up in under one minute. The terminals fit perfectly. Battery appears pretty well-built. System charged battery up and was fully operational within a few hours (normal). Would not hesitate to buy this one again!

I received a letter from my home alarm company stating that I had a low battery condition. Sure enough, my alarm board confirmed this. After looking up battery size, connector type, volt and amp specs found on a schematic within my alarm box, I found this battery on Amazon. The price was right and the shipping rates not bad considering the company has to ship haz mat rates. The company shipped quickly and the battery was as described on Amazon. It took less than a minute to unconnect the old battery and reconnect the new one. It took overnight for the battery to fully charge. After resetting my alarm box, no more low battery condition indicator. I rated my experience with this battery at five stars but I will be less than thrilled if I don't get at least 3-5 years or more of battery life. I've lived in this house for 10 years and the old battery was in place when we moved in. One more thing, the old battery was warm to the touch the few times I was in the alarm box. The new battery is now cool to the touch. I don't know if that means anything but thought I would mention it.

This is a fine replacement for the Yuasa battery. It solved all my problems of our house alarm going off several times at 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00AM. My children and neighbors and local authorities are all very happy. Highly recommended for anyone with a low security battery.

Was going on 7 years with the previous battery and the alarm system was indicating Lo Battery. So I ordered this exact replacement even though with shipping it was a couple of dollars more than a wholesale outfit across town. But then again I did not have to waste gas and time getting it.

The delivery was fast even with standard shipping, and even though the box was a bit beat up when delivered, the battery was well packed and not damaged.

This was the best price I found anywhere but if I was ordering for a working job instead of stock I would have been out of luck. Sorry about the title - but, seriously, I have been asked to review a screw! I am not a professional contractor and this is the first time I have used a QuikDrive screw gun. I am using these screws to secure about 1000 square feet of 3/4 inch T&G subfloor. For me, the screw gun cuts the time to do this by about 60% and the wear on my body by even more. These screws are heavy duty screws - much more substantial than comparable wood screws you would buy at your average home improvement center. There are 2 downsides of note - 1) each screw pack is only 30 screws. Some people may find this to be too little per pack. I think it is just fine, but it does mean you are inserting new screw packs fairly often; 2) each box of screws only comes with 1 QuikDrive bit. I would recommend buying an additional 3 pack of bits at the very least. If QuikDrive included more bits with each box I would rate this product a 5.'

Overall this case is just about perfect. As expected, it does add a little thickness but not much weight to the phone. The case wraps around the phone and snaps firmly in place offering protection to every side. There is plenty of clearance for the headphone jack, speaker, micro sd slot, and the buttons were not as difficult to reach as I thought they would be. For the front there is really only so much protection you can provide for a phone with a large touch screen, but the case does provide a small lip around the screen so that when you lay the phone on a flat surface the screen is suspended. The inner lining of the case is a black felt which is nice, but the outside texture of the case is one of my favorite things about it. It has a rubbery feel and is very ergonomic, but it is smooth enough that it doesn't feel like it would stick to a pocket lining if you were to carry it that way. Another nice feature is that on the bottom there is a slot where you can insert a coin and twist for very easy removal of the case (I'd hate to try to pry this thing off any other way). The belt clip/kickstand works well, but in case you choose not to use it there is a small piece to perfectly fill the hole in the back of the case which was a nice aesthetic touch. I haven't dropped my phone yet, but the case feels like it will offer a good amount of protection if that ever happens. If you have an LG Optimus S (or an Optimus V like I do), this is the case to get. Body Glove Glove Snap-On Case with Belt Clip for LG Optimus S ( Black )

This is far and away the best case i have found for the LG Optimus phone. Fits perfectly, belt clip allows for quick access, it's more comfortable if you spin the phone horizontal. I dropped my phone on cement stairs, case popped off but the phone was undamaged. I highly recommend this product. I bought my phone from US Cellular but i assume it will fit any LG Optimus purchased at sprint or whereever.

Although designed for the LG Optimus S, I bought this product for the nearly identical LG Optimus V. The case snaps on perfectly; a very snug and secure fit. While it does add a little bulk to the phone, it does seem very sturdy. The rubberized, textured exterior of the case provides a nice grip. I never feel like the phone is going to slip out of my hand, and it certainly won't slide off the edge of a table if it gets bumped. The little knob on the back of the case can be removed if you do not wish to use the belt clip or kick stand. The only downside to this case is that it is ridiculously difficult to get off, a real bummer if you ever need to get at the battery (which I have had to once when the phone locked up).

The case fits nice and is easy to snap together. I found that I didn't like the belt clip and inserted the plug for the hole instead. I would have given it 5 stars if it was hard instead of rubbery. If you, like me, put it in your pocket then it can be hard to get out because the rubber sticks to the pocket material. It does seem like it would help if you were to drop your phone though.

I am very impressed with this case! Fits my LG Optimus V for Virgin Mobile perfectly. Easily snapped together in seconds and every button is easliy accesible including the memory slot. I love the little coin slot they put in the bottom area of the phone...just use a quarter and the case easily pops open if you need to get to the battery slot. The belt clip works great and holds on securely and also easily releases to get to the phone. The little pop out kick stand built into the clip is genious!!! I can put my phone on my desk at work with the kick stand and easily see who is calling as soon as the phone rings which allows me to continue working or talking with a client in person without having to stop and pick my phone up or pop it off my belt to see if I should take the call or not. The rubber feel to the case is nice and I dont have to worry about dropping the phone. It also protects the front screen too since its a millimeter higher roughly and keeps your screen from touching any flat surface so you can safely put it face down if you want. I can also put it in my shirt pocket and not worry about it sliding out when I bend over...the rubber backing keeps it from slipping out of my pockets. If you like to use belt leather cases though be aware that the case adds some depth to the phone and you may want to buy the case in person at a store instead of online to make sure it fits. I saw the other case from otter that just came out but who wants to pay for a case that costs 1/4 of the phone? I say buy this one for your LG Optimus V phone...you will not be dissapointed.

I thought I would like the clip since it was removable. I do like the kick-stand feature too. Since the nob for the belt clip sticks out alot and the phone has to be in my pocket all the time, and I thought further with the bad economey and higher crime, why advertise what phone I have? I was surprised you could pop out the nob and pop in another that covers the hole to make it look like it almost doesnt have a knob. I should have bought the one without the clip and saved $$$.



All in all I am happy I bought this and the grip about the clip is with me and not the product. I have and will not give it the drop test, but it seems to be able to protect the phone if it does drop.

Purchased for the LG Optimus V, and it works like a charm. Product seems sturdy, fits snugly with ample clearance around the buttons, mic, camera, etc., and it appears that it would offer potentially sufficient protection in the event of dropping it (with the exception of the screen, of course), fortunately which I have yet to do ::knocks on wood::. I don't intend to use the neat belt clip/stand, but I like having the option should I change my mind. And though the rubber grip surface is nice for preventing your handset from slipping and sliding around a smooth surface, it does prevent it from slipping in and out of your pocket just as easily, however, that is a very minor gripe. This 15ft USB cable was received in a normal time for shipping but where it really helped was the tight space I was able to use for my printer. I have my computer set up in the bed room and was able to squeeze in both my printers in the limite space I had. This cord did not work for my Canon Pixma MP480 printer! It would not communicate with the device and install the drivers. Then, I bought a slight more expensive cable (under $5 more) from a different company, the printer communicated perfectly. The more expensive cable was slightly thicker than this cord, so that may be why.

Well I received the cable... and it worked. Nothing bad to say about it. Looks like a normal printer wire but for the right price! Highly-Recommended for people who are shopping for a long "Type A Male to Type B Male" wire.

This cable does not work with HP Photosmart C6150 printer. It caused the printer to "wig out", and ultimately would either spit out pages with gibberish on it, or jam paper in the printer. (The original cable still works fine, but it's not long enough.)



The purchase price was not worth the time, hassle, or cost to return, so it was a waste all the way around.

These are exactly as advertised. Very high quality, very precise, German made screw drivers in a nice case.



If you do electronics work, or open computers, they are exactly what you want. Yep, they are more expensive than a cheap bag of screwdrivers from China, but they are far superior as well.

I needed small screwdrivers for fixing my cameras and computers all the time. I've thrown away a good number of cheap to not so cheap makes. But the Wiha that I bought years ago are always the ones I find reliable and indestructible. This is especially important with the tiny ones. I finally decided that I needed a full set, and this fills my needs.

I'm a huge fan of tools with cases or pouches included. I hate my tools to be in a mess! This pouch is awesome.. it keeps everything so perfectly organized and protected from other stinky rusty tools!!



Positives:



Awesome Pouch! (nice material!)

Strong steel! (even the tiniest screw driver isn't flimsy what-so-ever)

Ascetically great looking!! (if you pay this much for tiny tools, they should look good!)

spinning base! (This can't be overlooked... the bearings inside the tools are smooth!! It helps a lot when you have to push down hard to get the tough screws out..)



Negatives:

Not many. All around a great high quality product! If i had to pick anything it would be the space between screwdriver slots. The bag could be a lot smaller to save some space in your tool chest.



This set simply performs!! I highly recommend this product to anyone, from the tiniest do-it-yourself handyman to a professional contractor. It performs great for daily needs and the high-quality of the tool with last in the high demands of contractors.

High quality, German made (not Chinese) tools at a very fair price. I purchased these to open up my HP Mediasmart server for a memory upgrade, and the #00 philips fits just right. If you need a nice set of small drivers, just get 'em.

Based on photos, product reviews, and the fact that German Engineering is top notch I ordered my first set of Wiha tools. First set as in more will follow, these are very well made screw drivers.



The caps spin nicely from light to heavy applied pressure. They turn just as easily under heavy pressure as with light which was a nice surprise.

The handles are light weight and made of what feels to be a very durable material. The information stamped on the handle is easy to read and appears to be quite durable, I doubt it will wear off even with heavy use.

The blades are well made and have a very light texture to them, giving them a very nice feel.

The tips are coated (can't recall specifics of coating) and under 20X magnification you can see just how precise the machine work is.

The screw drivers can be magnetized, I wish I had ordered the Wiha magnetizer/demagnetizer with this set.

The canvas pouch is well made and should last for many years. The canvas pouch I received has one flaw, it was sewn a little crooked on one corner, not that I care.



One question I had before I ordered this set was will the caps eventually fall off due to wear? I tried to pull the caps off a couple of mine just so I can tell you, don't worry about it, they will not come off.

These are very well made. They keep their edges, fit nicely in your hand, aren't heavy but are very durable, and have the nice rotating top. Made in Germany. At this price I can't see any reason to buy cheaper screwdrivers.

In the past I've bought the cheap jewelers screw driver sets and needed to replace them regularly. This time I decided I would spend a bit more and see if it would work out better. I've had a couple of occasions already to test out this set and find it to be a big improvement over my past purchases and I like the case as well. The handles are nice and the screwdrivers definitely seem to feel much sturdier. If I knew a friend was looking for a new precision screwdriver set, I would definitely recommend this set.

I have been a fan of Wiha for years. For those who need screwdrivers for electronics work they have a superb line of ESD safe drivers. They also have the ESD handles with interchangable blades. These are outstanding and fairly cheap. handles are 10 bucks or so and blades are 4 dollars.

I hate not having the right tools and eyeglass-kit screwdrivers from the local QuikiMart just don't cut it when opening up a laptop. If you do any kind of electronics work these are the drivers to have on hand. I bought these and a larger set of Wiha drivers and they are the ultimate. Sure, I use Stanley drivers for hanging curtain rods, but these Wihas are just the ticket for small-parts electronic work. Price should not be an argument against these. The Yes, Minister episodes continue with Jim Hacker moving to #10 Downing Street, bringing along private secretary Bernard and, of course, reuniting with the newly promoted Sir Humphrey (whose sentences seem to get longer with each episode). The audio level is better on this set than on the previous one. The cover artwork is not as clean (there are scan lines through the images), but the back cover is very nice with new photos of the three main characters (no photos on the inside as there were in the previous 4-CD set). The 17 brilliant episodes begin with the 1984 1-hour Christmas special that illustrated the chain events elevating Hacker to #10. The special features include the Sir Humphrey's lengthy review of the Yes Minister Diaries, "Christmas at the Ministry" clip, a 1986 Paul Eddington interview, Jonathan Lynn interview, and profiles on the main actors as well as others. A touching biography of Paul Eddington (Nigel Hawthorne was featured in the first set) in also included. The bio includes scenes from 1950s Dixon of Dock Green, Adventures of Robin Hood, and many scenes from The Good Life and some insight on what Margaret Thatcher thought of Prime Minister Hacker. Eddington's wife, Felicity Kendal, Hawthorne, and Derek Fowlds are among those interviewed. It also includes very sad clips of one of Eddington's last interviews when he was suffering through the last stages of the skin cancer that took his life. He handled his illness with much courage and the interviews with his friends and family reveals how fondly he is remembered and how many lives he touched. After watching all the Jeremy Brett "Sherlock Holmes" series, Ian Richardson in the "House of Cards," and now Nigel Hawthorne in "Yes, Prime Minister, I can truly say it will be difficult for an American not to become a (British) flag waving Anglophile.



The pure pleasure of this satirical comedy is not something that can be found on American TV. I enjoyed hearing the beauty of the English language the way it should be spoken.



This program will not be for all audiences, however, if one appreciates a sharp wit, clever irony, and a hilarious display of political chicanery, this DVD collection is a treasure.

The majority of people are falling over themselves to watch brainless, charmless and incredibly annoying AMERICAN comedy like Friends and Will and Grace. I've just watched the entire second series and half of the first of Yes, Prime Minister. This is a satirical, well-observed 80's comedy about the political machinations and workings of the British Parliment and the relationships between Minister's and civil servants. Nigel Hawthorne, Paul Eddington and Derek Fowlds are all superb in this. Great acting, script, and message that puts most comedy to shame and doesn't patronize the viewer or insult their intelligence. Highly reccomended

Absolutely wonderful. I dont think a political satire of this quality and wit has ever or would ever be produced for American television. In response to an earlier review, the "Yes, Prime Minister" and "Yes, Minister" series are not for democrats or Washingtonians alone. Anyone interested in political satire will appreciate and cherish these dvd's. The central theme fueling this wonderfuly written and performed series is the never ending conflict between the permanent unelected Civil Service(big government if you will)who administer policy and the elected, yet oh so temporary politicians(self serving populists if you will) who make the policy. There are valid and hilarious skewerings of all sides, all beliefs and all conceits. This is equal opportunity satire and well worth the rather high cost. Rather educational as well. A great way to learn about the basic workings of British democratic government. Many of the bits of humour and wisdom are as relevant here in the good old USA as they are over there.

"Yes, Prime Minister" is a wonderfully witty & devastatingly funny show, but I won't waste your time with a synopsis of the series - it is a delight & many reviewers have skillfully done so already. However, since no one else seems to have found it & I can't find it at imdb or moviemistakes or any other half-way competent sites revealing how the easter egg is to be accessed & what it contains, I feel it incumbent on me to do so here.



Go to the "special features" menu on disc 3 & move your mouse (if you're watching this on a computer) over to the line dividing the article on the left & the features menu on the right. Just to the left of the last item, "Trailers", a crudely drawn blue present will appear. Click on that & you will be given a clip from the "Christmas Morning with Noel" broadcast from 1987. It is of P.M. Jim Hacker bungling a holiday message to the viewers. Quite classic!

At almost 20 years old now, this award winning series still represents the finer aspects of great British comedy. Set in the 80's in which it was made, it satirically mirrors the politics of the era with a wry and subtle genius that is a joy to behold. All that said, a little familiarity with British politics, or the British culture in general helps tremendously. I am not surprised at the success of this series here in the States, but the uninitiated viewer may be being sold a little short on the finer aspects of the characters, and the dry humor. Jim Hacker (Paul Eddington) is the central character (following on from the Yes Minister series) thrust almost unwittingly into the limelight of the Prime Ministerial race, and sets about running the country with the same graceful ineptitude he applied to his previous ministerial post in the deparment of administrative affairs. Nigel Hawthorne is masterful as "Sir Humphrey" his "advisor" and head of the civil service who has his own agenda throughout, and plays all sides against the middle with varying levels of success. The final main Character is Hackers private secretary Bernard (Derek Fowlds) who often naively walks a middle line between helping the PM, but always being aware of his own allegiances to Humphrey (being a civil servant himself). This set begins with Hackers rise to power, and then contains all the subsequent episodes where the three characters play out some hilarious, and often thought provokingly satirical situations in a balanced and polished collection. Being a topically based political comedy obviously has its pitfalls, and those too young to remember the "Thatcher" years of British government, soviet spies, and the peaks and troughs of the economy during the 80's may view this a somewhat bland. I'm not suggesting for one minute that ANY viewer would not find great comedy in watching this collection, but it has to be said that it will almost certainly appeal to a narrower audience ultimately. Lots of extra's on the DVD collection and BBC video are to be congratulated on the excellent picture and sound quality of the presentation. Maybe not a "timeless" comedy, but a brilliant one none the less. Enjoy!'
