Screen Protectors - screen cover, case
the peel off sticker on the screen guard doesn't come off cleanly. It leaves glue behind. i tried to clean it with some Windex but it only made the residue worse. These were cheep with free shipping so it was worth a try.
I was not applying the protector correctly and my initial review of the product was in error. Now that i applied the protector correctly I think they are a good product. just make sure to clean your screen really well before you apply the protector. Three LCD Screen Guards / Protectors for RIM BlackBerry Torch 9800
This purchase comes with 3 screen guards, a small wipe cloth, and a little plastic square that you use to push the air bubbles out as you apply the screen guard. The screen guard itself is protected by 2 thinner plastic sheets, called masks, which are on each side of the guard. You peel off one of the masks and apply the screen guard to your phone using the plastic square. Once you have the screen guard on, you peel off the other mask. This second mask prevents fingerprints/scratches getting on the screen guard as you try to apply it to your phone. The screen guard does not affect the touch screen at all. It's easy to put it, it works, and it's inexpensive. What's not to like?
Some reviewers mentioned sticky residue. They are probably referring to the residue left by the instruction stickers that are on the 2 masks. The stickers say "Please peel this mask before application" and "Please peel this mask after application," These instructions were referring to the masks, not the stickers themselves. I'm assuming these reviewers probably didn't know these masks are supposed to come off and just tried to peel the stickers off and then proceeded to put the screen guard on with the 2 masks still on it. The screen guard itself is not sticky at all so it would not make sense for it to leave any residue.
The screen guards arrived within a couple of days of placing the order. First tried to apply them in a vertical fashion (from the top of the phone towards the keyboard), but couldn't align it well. When I tried aligning it on one of the sides of the screen and laying it down towards the other side, it came down perfectly. Hasn't peeled off (2 weeks of use) and does not affect the screen at all.
Item is exactly as described and fits the Torch well. It's good quality and easy to apply although I wish it came with that card to remove bubbles. But all in all it was perfect fit on my Torch. And it has a smooth surface when using the touch-screen. Would highly recommend this item. Very good for the cheap price.
This is the 2nd brand of this item that I've tried. The first one was a waste of money, it stayed full of bubbles and I wound up throwing it away. This one however fits perfectly and is a thicker sheet so you get very few bubbles and the few you get come off very easily.
These LCD screen guards are cheaply made and they have a sticker on both sides so you can pull them apart. When you apply the side that goes on your phone you have to peel the sticker off and is very hard to get the sticker off your phone. It leaves a sticky residue on your phone screen protector. It makes a mess and looks like crap. I wish they had it they way they make window tint no stick on it at all.
Just a heads up about OEM shop. I never got my item. Some guy named Riano emailed me and told me he'd resolve the issue if I removed my bad seller feedback of coarse once I did that he never replied and the issue was never resolved. - Case - Screen Protector - Accessory Kits - Screen Cover'

Childs Table And Chair Set
I researched this set for months and finally purchased this for my 21 month old daughter last month once I noticed her "W sitting" which is unfortunately becoming common among the 18 month to 5 year range. Sitting this way prevents children from turning their body from side to side (trunk rotation) and crossing their midline to reach toys and objects - may not seem like a big deal now but these are important skills for the developing child as more advanced motoric skills are dependent upon them. Children with hip dysplasia and other motoric issues should also avoid "W sitting" as doing so can aggravate these issues and in extreme cases cause hip dislocation. Try sitting this way yourself to play with your child and you will see (actually feel - it's very uncomfortable!) what I mean.
I specifically looked into Jonti craft and Kidkraft for their classroom durability and developmental features for young children. I've had both brands in my Kindergarten classroom and they were great.
Anyhow - now I have my daughter sit and stand at the table for various activities. I do have her stand more than sit at this point because her feet don't touch the floor yet with these chairs. When children engage in fine motor tasks their feet should be touching the floor for stability. The table is the perfect height for her and her 5 tear old brother enjoys it as well. The set went together in a flash with the use of my powerdrill (you can use a hex drill bit instead of the allen wrench provided - much faster this way). Yes, some of the holes do not line up perfectly but with a powerdrill it is really not an issue.
I highly recommend this set and am actually looking into purchasing an extra table for the extra little ones who visit! [...]. I really don't think you will be disappointed . . . as a tough-to-please-anal-retentive-nitpicker teacher and mom, take my word for it! KidKraft Farmhouse Table & Chair Set
This table and chair set is awesome and very, very durable and well made! And KidKraft has excellent customer service...one of the parts didn't fit well and I called them for a new one and I had it in 3 days for free! They even said if it gets damaged and I ever need any new parts, to call them and they'd send it right away!
We found many of the same problems other reviewers mentioned: lousy-quality wood w/many imperfections that reduce its strength, poorly drilled holes that frequently didn't line up well during assembly, etc. That said, KidKraft Customer Service has been good about sending replacment parts, and we won't have to return the table, which our 22-month-old has enjoyed so far. It was reasonably priced and one of few sets that came w/4 chairs -- but if you can afford a better table, I'd buy a different one.
We just received our table/chair set in the mail (purchased on Amazon from babyage). The delivery was prompt via Fedex. (We ordered on the 10th and it arrived on the 15th.) All the pieces were clearly labeled, very well packaged and included all hardware pieces. It was fairly easy to put together although the screws require some effort to get in all the way. We followed the advice of another reviewer and soaped the screws, which made them easier to get in.
The set is very attractive and sturdy. I kept telling my husband how pretty it was as we opened the package. It is a very light, natural wood color. After assembling everything, I sat on the chairs and felt no give whatsoever. It is the perfect height for our 20 month old, but still looks like there is room for growth. The table height is good for both sitting and standing play. (He is sitting in a chair right now, playing with his trains.) Considering the price, it is a great deal for a table and four chairs. We will probably use a couple of the chairs for various other tables and uses around the house, and still have two for use with the table. The chairs are weighty enough to be difficult to tip, yet light enough to be pushed with effort by our son.
We were also considering the fold up, plastic picnic tables. After reading reviews about how they had permanently bent when heavier children sat on them, I decided against it. I didn't want to have to worry about the table or chairs being used by larger kids and/or adults.
Overall, I am VERY happy with this purchase. We decided on this one after much deliberation and research. It is a great deal for the price. I think it is of the same or better quality than higher priced options. We look forward to using this set for years to come!
This table and chair set is ultra-sturdy solid birch wood (not pressed). The chairs hold grownups without a wobble. There was 1 misdrilled hole, but BIG DEAL. My 2-year-old certainly doesn't care and who's going to notice? It came with all the pieces and parts promised, and the finish is surprisingly nice (natural). It also came with all the tools necessary to assemble it, although a power drill with an Allen wrench bit made faster work of it.
What I liked in particular about this set is that it came with 4 chairs, so we had enough to use in other rooms of the house. Now my son has a child-sized chair in which to sit in all his favorite places.
Here is a link to the assembly instructions: http://www.kidkraft.com/catalog/assminst/21421.pdf
I just received this set this afternoon. I put it together in about 30-45 minutes. Easy to assemble. Its just a little big for my toddler who is 2 1/2 years old (she's a little tall for her age. She loves this set.
Minors issues (received an additional screw instead of a bolt that I need for a chair). Kidkraft is great for replacing items missing from products...no worries. Caveat: This is my second Kidkraft product this week with missing or damaged parts KidKraft Modern Toddler Cot.
Kidkraft will replace items for FREE but you must wait for delivery of additional replacement items but the inconvenience of having projects half finished.
I do recommend this product. It is a good value and the wood is nice and solid. Just don't count on everything being correct the first time.'

Tactical Pants - bdu pants, tactical pants
I had searched high and low for camo pants that fit well and were already broken in.One would think this an easy task especially since I live in the epicenter of the fashion industry(Manhattan,NYC).Well, to no avail even on the internet that is,until I found "Captain Dave's". I ordered them thinking they would have to be altered at least in the length and that I would have to wash them a few thousand times to achieve the well worn-in look that I wanted.Well, they arrived very quickly and packed extremely well and I was pleasantly surprised that they fit like a glove and the texture has the subtle "worn" quality that is so fashionable at the moment! Thank you Captain Dave's!!! I'll be purchasing a lot more items!! And ladies, don't be hesitant about ordering the men's sizes they fit fabulously!! Paratrooper Cargo Pants, Washed for a Retro Look and Feel (Small, OLIVE DRAB)
I am normally a size 40-42 waist and the X-Large fit perfectly! The legs were a little long but have ties to keep them from dragging. Face Treatments - face treatments, burts bees
As someone struggling with acne for over 20 years, I feel that I have good authority to rate this product as there is nothing for acne that I haven't tried. This thing works, and works beautifully. I was using Proactiv before and, although it helped a little, it made my skin super flaky and irritated, and the acne was still there. Still, it was the best thing that I had tried, so I used it for years. Proactiv didn't stop my breakouts, though, and sometimes they were so bad that you couldn't tell that I was using an acne treatment twice a day, religiously. Proactiv customer service told me to try the super strength formula, which didn't help either.
I finally gave up and decided to try something natural after reading a couple of good reviews for Burt's Bees acne products. Boy, am I glad I did. I about two weeks of use my skin already looked better than it did in a long, long time. I haven't had any more awful breakouts, no more peeling and flakiness, no more irritation. Doesn't smell bad and it's invisible (Proactiv has a funky odor and makes your skin shiny). I am not using the hydrating lotion, though, because my skin is really oily and I the lotion was too much for my skin type - not that it gave me acne, but it did make my skin feel "heavy", so I stopped using it. Now I simply wash my face morning and night with the cleaning product, and when I see that I am about to have a breakout I use the spot treatment. The spot treatment doesn't have the best smell in the world, but it works like never I tried before.
With this regimen, I haven't had a breakout since starting using the products. Also, since I am not using the hydrating lotion, I am going to be able to save some money by buying the products separately - instead of buying the kit, I'll buy only the two products I use. I am so happy that Burt's Bee does sells the products separately.
The extra nice effect is that it seems that my skin tone is becoming more even after using the products. Proactiv left me full of dark spots but this is doing a pretty nice job in getting rid of them.
Bottom line - I highly recommend these products. My next step is to buy the scrub and all I can say is that I hope this keeps working! Burts Bees Natural Acne Solutions, Full-Size Regime Kit
I have tried all of these Acne kits, Proactiv, Clean & Clean, PanOxyl, Neutrogena, Clearasil, Aveeno, and even tried several PRESCRIBED Acne medications and kits and had so much frustration after time and time again seeing little to no results and an empty wallet! Finally, I had enough and went out on a limb and bought Burts Bees Acne two week kit. I was full of doubt and about to except the fact that I will always have Acne (im 22 now and have suffered from the condition ever since i was 14) Only a few days later I was already starting to notice the difference! The biggest change I saw RIGHT AWAY was the redness was disappearing! And after two weeks I have no new break outs and can see a HUGE difference in my skin! If you were or are like me and tired of thinking you have to live with post-teen/young adult acne you MUST try this kit! Good Luck!
In the firs week, this product worked great. My face has shown evident acne reduction. However, the spot treatment used up fast. I ran out of it within two weeks. The product smells nice and its moisturizer was good. I believe the product is good for mild acne. However, if you have severe acne like me, you should find something stronger.
I was so tired of using acne products with so many chemicals, so one day i googled natural acne solutions and the burt's bees acne kit showed up. So after reading all the positive reviews i thought that i should give it a chance. After one week i noticed that some of my acne was going away. but after 2-3 weeks i started to break out on places i never broke-out before,(cheek and chin). I'm disappointed in this product. i had high hopes. i don't recommend it to anyone.
I had high hopes when I purchased this item, especially considering the other reviews I read. However, I was disappointed, the acne has not been alleviated at all by the use of this product. I have tried some other harsh products, that also didn't work for me, so I thought switching to something natural might be helpful, but not so.
I haven't found a Burt's Bees product that I don't like. This is no exception. I have small patches of acne that break out infrequently. But when they do break out, it's hard to get rid of it. I've used Proactiv in the past and I do like that product also. But it's more expensive and I don't like the idea of sending me the stuff when I don't ask for it. I realize that's convenient for some. It took a little longer to clear up my patch of acne with Burt's Bees, but the way the cleanser made my face feel was worth it. It's a deep down clean feel. The cream is also very nice feeling. Light weight, but it does a good job of keeping my face moisturized. The spot treatment smells harsh, but since it's all natural it's not harsh at all. I would definitely recommend Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions.
I love the face that the product is almost 100% natural but that comes with the face that it's slow the process of healing your acne problem. If you're not in a rush,go for it. Also,it's all natural so it has no perfume which make you feel uncomfortable for the first few days because of it's smell.I love the moisturizer though. This is the first one ever that really moist your facel
The gel cleanser feels more like water to me. Very thin and doesn't feel like it gets the oil off of my face. The moisturizer is very good, but smells funky. The spot treatment has worked quite well for me.
I've already reviewed the moisturizer and cleanser separately--I think they work great and this is really the only skincare regime that I've bothered to purchase multiple times. Usually once I finish a product I move on to something else, but this set is actually good enough to keep using. The moisturizer is non-greasy, but moisturizes well. My face feels nice, clean, and free of grease after using the cleanser. After using this product for many months, I can really see a difference in how my skin looks. My pores are smaller and less noticeable, skin tone is more even, and I generally get far fewer blemishes than I once did.
This particular set on Amazon is a good value. I could do without the spot treatment though. It really doesn't do anything for me. Plain old tea tree oil is far more effective for taking care of blemishes. - Burts Bees - Face Treatments - Skin Care - Acne'

Hobbytoolsupply - sculpting, hobbytoolsupply
I used the tools to create several coil pots and hand build pots with shapes and human faces on it. It also came in handy when I was building a large human bust sculpture about 3 feet tall. A great tool set to own! It comes in handy when trying to carve away intricate details on the wheel thrown pottery as well as hand build delicate pots. Pottery Tool - 11 Pc Set
New way of creating for me! I was just a hands on gal before, but now I can reach into little areas and smooth without mucking up anything. What a wonderful new world this has opened here in my clay covered kitchen! I can now create lovely details much easier. Thank you, Thank you
This sculpture set has lots of tools. I rarely use all of them, but perhaps I just haven't gotten to the place where those tools are needed. Or I haven't figured them out yet. What I do use a lot is a new product called "Studio by Sculpey". It is a set of three long black handled tools with 3 different size smooth metal balls on the ends. On the opposite ends are soft rubber tips for smoothing and forming.
We use the "11-piece Pottery / Sculpture Tool Set, Clay & Wax Carving Tools" to carve wax candles (see picture). This set contains a good selection of tools for working and adding texture to wax.
The quality is fairly good for the price (which is a factor in my rating) and I expect to get a lot of use from these tools.
Recommended!
I'm new to sculpting and wanted to make sure it was something I would keep up with before doling out more money. For less than $6 shipped, this product seemed to be the perfect fit.
As others have said previously, many of these tools are nearly identical to each other. Secondly, they are very cheaply made. The metal bits are thin and bend easily under mild pressure.
If you just need some starter tools to use while you give sculpting a test run, this product is probably what you're looking for.
However if you're already sold on sculpting and are looking for tools to replace or add to your collection, I'd look elsewhere.
I was looking for tools to work on clay and this were the perfect item for my needs, the seller shipped the item really fast and i got them 3 days after I placed the order, how ever there are some tools I'm sure not going to use but for the pack is a great deal.
I started working on some ceramic projects and I didnt want to spend too much money on tools since your hands are probably the best tools to sculpt. Anyways, these tools were priced fairly cheap so I decided to try them and I was not disappointed. They aren't flimsy, and are pretty sturdy. They didnt bend or break when I used them, since clay is really heavy. It comes with a variety of different tools so you can get creative. I would recommend to anyone who doesnt want to spend too much money on good tools.
This set pratically has everything you need for carving. At school- we have a set that only has 4 basic tools. I purchased thses as I found that 4 tools just isn't enough. I was able to use all these tools on making a large purse out of clay. I had to make this purse twice, as the first time I just used the basic tools we had at school- and it cracked. Having all 11 tools the second time I made this purse, it didn't crack! This set comes with all the tools you can think of! I am so happy I was able to recieve this set fast in the mail! Overall the best tools yet! - Sculpting - Pottery Tools - Hobbytoolsupply - Ceramic'

Flat Screen - flat screen, cleaner
After reading all of the reviews I thought man, I have to get me some of this. Well I did and my personal experience isn't that good.
Tried it on my 50" plasma and initially it seemed to work pretty well, but as I looked closely at a reflection in the plasma glass I saw streaks! So, I got a flashlight and looked over the entire display and sure enough, there were streaks all over. Now I'm not one to just slap some cleaner on and a couple of swipes and I'm done. I meticulously polish the screen.
Started over doing a very small section, applying cleaner to cloth, spreading on display, turning cloth to dry area, polish, polish polish - still streaks. Mind you I'm doing this with a flashlight in hand, so every little flaw is visible.
I found that the only way to prevent streaks is to continue working the damp cloth on th display until it less damp, then turn to the dry area for polishing. Which brings me to another problem ...
After doing the above, I noticed literally hundreds of little fibers on the display, with some seemingly stuck to the screen to where i had to rub harder than i would like to get them off. Even still when i did that there were more fibers. Again, did this with a flashlight.
Lastly, After getting everything seemingly good to go, I did a follow up inspection the day after i cleaned the display with this product and noticed what appeared to be a subtle film on the glass. I took a cloth and wiped it off easily, but darn if it didn't come back in a short while. It looked like some type of mild condensation. Again this was with a flashlight in hand.
After all of this, I went back to my old Mirachem Optix cleaner and a true microfiber cloth (the tighter weave type that is used for lens cleaning). I did one half of the display only and left the other side as it was from the Monster cleaner. After several hours I went to inspect it once again and there was the haze on the Monster side, but the side I sued my old cleaner on was clear. When I say haze, it's not noticeable without the flashlight, so most folks wouldn't see it, but with a flashlight it is obvious, particularly on the black band around the actual viewing area.
I haven't tried this product on my LCDs and it may work great on the plastic surface, as opposed to the glass of the plasma. For me, it's just not worth it. Get a good flashlight and check for yourself ...or don't and you'll never know that it isn't perfect. Monster TV CLNKIT Alcohol-Free ScreenClean Kit [Traditional Packaging]
This product works better than any other cleaning method I have used. The cleaning fluid is of high quality but the real gem is the microfiber cleaning cloth that is included. By using this system all of your displays will be crystal clean all the time. I tried it on plasma, LCD & even my camera lcd display & they never looked better. Highly recommended product for keeping very expensive displays looking great.
My experience using this product on my Samsung LN52A650 was a complete nightmare. I contacted Samsung directly for a suggested cleaning method, and Monster's ScreenClean was their only authorized recommendation. Yet, I had the same problems others are describing: the streaks wouldn't go away! After several attempts over a week-long period, my display became a streaky, foggy mess! And to make matters worse, the streaks had that greasy, filmy rainbow tint that you often see when oil's on water. As a result, I seriously began to think my display was reacting badly with the solution. However, I was eventually able to get the streaks down to a minimum by continuously wiping and wiping and wiping. I don't see them at all now.
My advice for those experiencing this same problem: think of it more like you're polishing the screen rather than cleaning it. Focus on specific sections, and keep your polishing as focused as possible to avoid overlapping into areas already completed. Also, the customer service rep at Monster was very attentive and mentioned that the cleansing ingredients may separate over time... so be sure to vigorously shake the solution before applying it to the cleaning cloth. That may or may not help. But honestly, I thought I was going to have a heart attack at the possibility of a $20 cleaner destroying my $2000 TV... And the worst part is, it really didn't even need to be cleaned in the first place.
However in all fairness to Monster, aside from the difficulty in removing the streaks, my screen now looks crisp and clean. I haven't yet found or tried another product. But I can tell you this, my screen will have to get pretty dirty before I attempt to clean it using this method again.
Hands down, the best display cleaner I have found! We use it as needed on our 46" LCD TV, a 20" LCD TV, our iMac, and a pair of laptops, and have found that a little goes a very long way - we've been using it for a few months and it seems that we've hardly dented the volume. The microfiber cloth is durable and incredibly effective as well, and can be easily cleaned. Finally, the best part is that dust seems less attracted to our displays after using this. Love it!
I bought this product planning to use it to clean my SXRD rear projection TV. Upon opening the package I found a yellow notice that states:
"To avoid potential damage to the products you plan to clean, please consult your product owner's manual(s) first regarding display care and cleaning procedures and recommendations prior to using this product.
If the product to be clean stipulates 'soap and water' cleaning only or recommends that no cleaners be used on your product, do not use this cleaner as a cleaning method. You may return your purchase to authorized Monster dealer, if necessary."
Just to safe, I checked the owners manual for my TV and sure enough, it stated use mild soap and water only. This product has been repacked to be returned. It would have been nice if this notice was on the back of the package rather than stuck inside of it. - Monitor Cleaner - Flat Screen - Lcd - Cleaner'

Pet Grooming Tool - cordless, rotary tool
I bought it for my dog's nails. It arrived yesterday morning just after I started trying to fix the tiles in the shower - who were put in by a moron. Two were shoved so closely together that there was no room for grout and water leaked in rotting the wall board. I didn't know what to do since it meant cutting a tile to fit - something I don't know how to do. I thought of the Dremel, and used it to grind down one of the tiles. It worked and saved the day! If it will grind down about 1/4" off a ceramic tile without breaking a sweat I imagine it will do most anything I need it to do. Dremel 7700-1/15 MultiPro 7.2-Volt Cordless Rotary Tool Kit
My sole purpose for buying this tool was to trim the toenails of my two large dogs. That it does very well with the least amount of stress for my dogs and the most ease for me.
I did have a problem with my Dremel, as the battery portion would come loose from the top grinder part as I was using it (the battery and tool clip together). I thought at first I was squeezing it too hard to cause it to release, but it turned out to be defective. Dremel, the company, was very apologetic and told me to send it back to them. They sent me another one within a short amount of time (2 weeks).
I bought grinders in the past that burned out in year (Craftsman brand) (the rechargeable batteries wouldn't hold a charge) right after the warranty was up. Dremel is warranted for two years, which is much better. It should not be asking much for 5-10 minutes of grinding on toenails every other week to last for many years. But at least I now know that the Dremel company stands behind their products. Since I did have to pay $12 for shipping and confirmation to send it back, I have to take away a star.
I have the corded Dremel, but because of the cord it has limitations, so I bought this. I RARELY use my corded Dremel anymore. I only use this one now. It's amazing AND you are not giving up very much. Battery life is great, and torque is really strong. I am able to use this in any application, and the only time I go to my corded one is if I forget to charge this one. I have used this to cut through pipe, trim out wood, score tile, and much more. It's so easy to use, and so versatile that I am always finding new uses for it. It is also very well made. Mine gets knocked around a lot and even fell a couple of times and it still keeps going. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a home or does any kind of DIY project.
My only complaints for the 7700 is that it only has a high and low speed setting, as opposed to a rheostat type variable speed. It benefits by the addition of the tool-less adjustable chuck. Having read about the short charge life of its batteries, I ordered an extra to have one ready to switch out when one runs low. These two additions boost the price a good deal, but worth it in my opinion.
when fully charged the tool works very well. the battery is not Li-ion so it only stays charged for about 45 min. of consistent use. and when working on a project one usually doesn't like to work for 45 min then take a 3 hour brake while the battery charges and then get another 45 min in. so if you buy a few extra batteries it would probably not be a problem.
Another reviewer warned that the tools specifically designed to groom pets nails were under powered. I bought this specifically to file my dogs' nails. I don't even have to use it on the high power level. It works great. Battery seems to hold charge well. Charged it once and used it twice in a one month period and it is still going strong.
I have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, both have massive thick black nails that need to be trimmed often. This tool is a good size and weight, it fits my hand and after 20 nails the fatigue to my hand was minor. I used the lower speed and that is a lot faster then the low on my previous grinder which helped the job to be accomplished faster! This unit does get a little warmer around the neck area than my older model did but nothing that was a concern. The installation and removal of the sanding attachment was so easy! I'd recommend this to anyone that has dog nails to grind, even big thick ones!
I use this dremel for my 80 pound rescue puppies nails. I love the cordless. I was using a corded dremel because I thought I needed the power. I bought this same exact dremel as a gift for my father to use on his dogs. It worked great for him and had plenty of power to get the job done. After a year of borrowing his I decided it was time to get my own. Great investment.
The Dremel 7700 may be suitable for light use such as crafts (which isn't why I bought it), but when I used it on heavier plastic, the motor didn't have enough torque for the job. The selection of supplied attachments should be enough to get most people started, but the 7700 isn't capable of extracting maximum benefit from them.
The battery part has come loose several times, and the switching between Hi, Off, and Lo is ill-defined. The 7700 is difficult to control. Because there's no trigger, if you drop it, it will continue to spin. This tool is not for children--there's a risk of serious injury.
You get what you pay for. A good cordless rotary tool costs twice the price of the 7700. If you need a cordless rotary tool for anything but crafts, look at something else. Dremel should pull the 7700 off the market. - Rotary Tool - Nail Grinder - Nails - Cordless'

Cordless Tool Accessories - radio, boombox
This is a great sounding radio that's durable. The "shell" around it is very well made and it feels indestructible. The sound quality is great, although sorta directional, and the tuner works better than the Dewalt. The dials have a solid feel to them. I bought the white one with the auxillery plug for my Ipod and it works well. The drawbacks are the same for everyone: It doesn't charge a battery and it has a seperate AC adapter that could easily get lost or damaged. All in all I like it and would recommend it to someone who has Makita Li-ion cordless tools. Makita BMR100W 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless FM/AM Job Site Radio
I wanted a shop radio that played mp3 and wasn't a 25 pound suitcase that used up half a workbench. The radio sounds fine even in a big open 1200'sf shop although the speakers are only 3". The compact design fits right on a shelf and it appears to be fairly dust resistant. It uses both types of Makita rechargeable batteries which is handy if you have a lot of the old NIMH pods. It has alarm and clock functions and two inputs for AUX components but the downside was the sound from an ipod. It just is not very loud even at full volume on both units. I tried both a hd based and a nano flash ipod. Sound was just ok but disappointing if you want loud music. Perhaps some newer generation mp3 players would sound better but I have encountered this problem before patching in an ipod to another unit. There are no tone controls so what you hear is what you get. Overall this is a nice rugged compact job/shop radio but just a so so mp3 device.
This radio is everything I expected it to be. Rugged, small footprint, stylish, has great sound (amazing base response considering the size) digital presets for AM and FM radio, water/dust tight compartment for tool battery and or Ipod/mp3 player or to store included 12v power adapter. I use an Ipod shuffle connected to the auxiliary in #2 jack located inside the sealed compartement. It works flawlessly. The radio locks on well to FM stations and not bad for AM stations (I like to listen to talk radio as well). The presets are great and easy to access. The dual function tuner dial is very smooth. Push it in and it changes volume, press again and it changes tuning. Also has channel search function, auto off function for those who like to fall asleep with radio on, wake up tone alarm and clock radio function. Also has 2 AA battery backup inside water proof compartment to save presets and displays the time on the lcd screen. The lcd screen lights up when any button is pressed then shuts off after a short delay to save power. All in all a great radio. So what it doesn't charge batteries. I use cordless tools all the time and generally don't use the stock charger anyway. I buy the fast chargers so don't need another with the radio. It would have been nice to include the transformer inside the unit so a regular 120v a/c cord plug could be used when not using a Makita battery. Oh by the way, I don't own any Makita tools anymore so I just use the power adapter. No problem. I've used the Bosch, Milwaukee, and seen the new Ridgid jobsite radio's. They are all large, bulky, heavy, loaded with unesessary features and parts break off of them. I am enjoying this radio very much and highly recommend it.
This radio is designed for people who (1) already own Makita power tool batteries and (2) want a rugged portable radio. It does not come with its own battery, and does not charge batteries (including the one used to power the radio). It is not hard wired for AC. You need to plug a not-so-rugged AC adapter into the front of the unit. Although the radio will probably survive being kicked or dropped, the AC adapter/wires/plug may not.
For those who like to take naps at their job sites, it includes a sleep function and alarm!
Overall, this radio was designed for a specific job, and does its job very well.
Just got our radio the other day. As everyone says, the sound is pretty good for a simple jobsite radio. I'd like to adjust the tone, as it is a little too biased toward bass for me, but not too bad. Probably OK out in the open air rather than in the garage or house.
Note that you cannot use the internal AUX2 input with al LXT (or probably any other slide type) battery. The input is right behind the battery. You can't put the aux plug in first, nor the battery and then the plug. I even bought a 90 degree adaptor, but it still doesn't work. You must use the front external AUX1 input, which is not much protection for your MP3 player.
I'd give it 5 stars otherwise, but this lack of foresight drops it at least one star.
After searching everywhere from Sears to Best Buy for an ipod-compatible stereo system, I finally decided to take a chance on the Makita BMR100W, and I couldn't be happier. This unit is loud, in spite of the side-mounted speakers, probably due to it's dense body, and fills my 30X30 sq/ft dance studio with bass-rich tunes. The ipod plugs in on the lower left, next to the AC adapter input, and choosing Aux on the large, bright LCD allows for volume control via the big blue knob. There are ipod docking portables out there with many more controls, but none that sound as good as this latest Makita. The adapter fits conveniently in the battery cavity, and if you're wondering why they didn't include a battery and built-in charger, it's because they don't own the patent. For $70 (with free shipping on Amazon), this is the best and least expensive sound reinforcement I've ever had to provide to my clients. With a mini-jack adapted microphone, it would also make a neat portable PA.
i bought one of these radios specifically because it could run off of my lithium ion makita batteries. once i plugged my mp3 player into it, i was convinced. Then it accidentally fell off of a roof not once but twice. not that i'm saying this radio was built to be thrown off of 30 ft buildings but you get the point. The sound is better than my own car stereo!!! i love this radio. it's loud and the speakers mounted on the side spread the sound everywhere instead of just forward. The clock is very handy because it always displays the time even when you don't have a battery in. That power is supplied by two AA batteries that came with my radio. Well worth every cent! - Great Radio - Makita - Radio - Boombox'

Glove
My last pair of leather and mesh training gloves where trashed, so I shopped around and decided to replace them with these gloves. The Harbinger 1260 gloves provide ample padding for protection and comfort while providing a solid grip. The nosweat (tm) lining wicks moisture away from the skin while the curved three quarter finger design fits more naturally, improving dexterity. The gloves are fastened in place with an adjustable wrist strap. Even though the gloves are partially constructed of leather, they can be hand washed to remove salt and oils. Washing with a mild soap and air drying will help the gloves to maintain their comfort, fit and will last longer.
My workout partner uses the Harbinger 143 gloves. Compared to the 1260, the 143 are simpler gloves with less material and padding. Since they sell for about the same price, the 1260 gloves are a much better value.
PROS:
Washable
Comfortable
Durable enough for rigorous strength training
CONS:
Sizing seems slightly small in comparison to other gloves. I can get my gloves on easy and they are comfortable. They are a bit of a challenge to remove though. The next size up is too big on me. Harbinger 1260 Men's Training Grip Gloves (Black/Charcoal, Large)
Boy have I had a hard time finding a pair of weight lifting gloves! My previous ones were simple leather Saranac gloves, not much padding but they lasted for several years. The leather eventually rotted out forming huge holes. But I can definitely say that the Saranac gloves were awesome.
Now onto the replacement. I tried four different types of gloves.
Harbinger 143
Harbinger 1260
Harbinger 1215 Big Grip II
GoFit Diamond-Trac
The Harbinger 143 gloves were OK. They didn't have too much padding, but fit very snug and were difficult to get off. Also, the fingers were short.
The Harbinger 1260 and 1215 were both unusable due to having too much padding in the palm and knuckle area. The padding is comfortable for pressing exercises (e.g. bench press), but makes it all but impossible to do pulling exercises (e.g. pull ups, curls, deadlifts, rows, etc.). You can try them yourselves, but save some money and take my word for it.
The GoFit Diamond-Trac gloves are the best of the bunch for my needs. They have a little padding in the palm, but not enough to interfere with your grip. They are lightweight, so I'm not sure how long they'll last, but I'll reserve judgment on that. They do make my hands sweat, because the neoprene on the back doesn't seem to breathe well. They run a little larger in size than the other gloves. Also, I like that they have a finger tab to help you pull off the gloves.
Please be kind enough to indicate if reviews are helpful.
I've owned three pairs of these so far, and they're easily the best gloves I've ever used. I had previously only used unpadded gloves, and the padding in the palm seemed a little thick at first. The padding does make it more difficult to get a solid grip in some exercise machines that also have large rubber grips on them (lat pulldown bars, for example), but that's the trade off for excellent support and protection when using the gloves on machines with uncovered metal grips.
I found these gloves to be more durable than the other non-padded Harbinger gloves I've worn. The gloves can be safely washed and air dryed, as advertised.
My only complaint with regard to wear is that the unreinforced leather where my thumb meets the padding in the palm seems to wear out before the rest of the glove. Every pair I have owned will eventually wear a hole in this particular area.
I'm 5'11 and I weight 215lbs and I wear an XL glove. I work out with a lot of free weights and I've always found that the bar is always too small for my hands and fingers to get a good grip. Now these gloves have a lot of padding to them which makes the bar feel larger. I wish I would of new about these things sooner but I use to think they were only for people who didnt like calluses. Not only does it make the bar feel like the right size for me but it give me the perfect grip throughout my rep. Also When bench pressing I sometimes role the bar when finishing my last rep and I havent felt any pain in my thumbs like I have in the past. I think wearing these will really save not only your skin but your joints in your hands and wrist by allowing you to get into a more natural and comfortable position on the bar. Hope this helps
I've been lifting for 30 years now (ouch) and have become very set in my ways. I used to say gloves were for girls - until I snagged a new sweater by putting my arm around my girl friend way back when - I finally relented, no, I wouldn't want those hands touching me either, so I started wearing gloves.
If you do a lot of heavy pulldowns/pullups, shrugs, deadlifts and such these will work great. 3/4 Finger Length gloves are hard to find, but you will get serious calluses just below your first knuckles without them if you go heavier on back days.
These may take a little while to get used to and feel a bit bulky at first but they do break in pretty well.
I also prefer no wrist-wrap built into the glove as I find them bulky and constricting. I prefer the option of using good cotton straps when needed instead (APT Ultimate Straps).
These are pretty much the only glove out there meeting my criteria at this time.
I have tried and destroyed a lot of cheaper gloves in short order over the years and have ended up settling on these. I have used the previous versions of this glove for about 10years now, they last me about a year and I lift 5-6 days a week. For the amount of use/abuse they are an decent value though the price may be a little higher than others.'

Hand Held Vacuum - hand held vacuum, hand vacuum
Porter-Cable's "handheld vaccum" does the job and actually picks stuff up. We have all hardwood and tile floors and there was nothing more frustrating than waiting for our previous alternate brand handheld vacuum to pick up a dustball! This is a great tool to avoid pulling out the full-size vacuum between thorough cleaning...see it, got it..quick. Coupled with the Li-Ion battery technology there is no painful slowdown to the work. It works until the battery needs to be charged and then charging in quick. I am buying a second one for the garage. I highly recommend this fine, but fairly priced tool! Bare-Tool Porter-Cable PC18HV 18-Volt Cordless Handheld Vacuum (Tool Only, No Battery)
Although I haven't used anything cordless that is comparable to this guy, I owned a B&D Dirt Devil years ago and this guy beats it hands down. Clever bagless design and relatively strong suction give it the edge over the old corded DD. The included hose and crevice tool allowed me to set the unit down and aim the suction right next to my drill bit when working on a door lockset and keep the chips off of the carpet. It empties out easily and the filter comes relatively clean when tapped into a trash can. However, I'm not sure it will last forever and the unit didn't come with any hints as to how to find/order more. - Hand Vacuum - Hand Held Vacuum - Handheld Vacuum'

Poor Customer Service - suits, poor quality
This is a great Suit! I bought this for my son who is the ring-bearer in a friends wedding. He looks so cute in it. It is very well made and is a miniature suit - with all the little details. Workmanship is great! Johnnie Lene Charcoal/gray Color Textured Suit Set for Boys From Baby to Teen (18 Month)
The suit is very nice and the delivery was fast. The size chart was also very helpful; the size is just perfect for my son.
What a shame the postal fee to Finland was as much as the suit itself! I wish you could negotiate some cheaper alternatives to your international shippings; the U.S. Postal Service prices seem really very expensive. I would definitely order more clothes if the shipping fees weren't this high. - Wedding - Suits - Poor Quality - Boy'

Cordless Drill - drills, cordless drill
Overall these tools are a good quality for home use and I have no major complaints. The drill/driver works well and the battery life is adequate. There is a noticable improvement in the SB1B battery life compared to the older SB1A batteries. The 1 hr charger is a must have feature. The battery charge level indicators useful. The flashlight and jigsaw both work well. My only complaint is with the circular saw. The saw drains the batteries very quickly. I was making full length cuts in a 4x8 sheet of 1/2" plywood and didn't complete 2 full cuts before the battery died. I wouldn't buy this kit for the Circular saw but if you are making a few quick short cuts it would do the job. Overall it's a good kit for the money. I also have the x-drive sawsall. This unit doesn't drain the battery quite as fast as the circular saw and is useful for light duty cutting. Factory-Reconditioned Skil 2895-10-RT 18 Volt 4 Tool Combo Pack
I have this combo kit and am very pleased with it's performance for the price paid. I am a weekend DIYer, so I did not necessarily want one of the pricier combo kits, yet I did want a kit that would do what I needed with appropriate power and ease. And I am pleased with the results.
All of the tools have great features, the only negative thing is the short-lived power when using the circular saw. When using a fully charged battery the saw works just as well as a corded model, but the power wears down significantly faster when using this tool over the others.
Although the batteries do not last as long as the manufacturer suggests, I have found that in my work I am able to use one battery while charging the other, so that by the time one dies down the other is fully charged. This is possible with the one-hour charger included in the kit. In fact I keep the charger plugged in right next to my workspace so when I need to switch out batteries they are easily accessible. Two pluses with the batteries include: 1) the batteries have a power meter on them - just press a button and lights will show you how much juice you still have left; 2) the batteries are easily changed out - no complicated trigger or buttons.
Bottom line: don't throw out your corded circular saw just yet, and keep the battery charger handy.
one of the 2 batterys evidently was not charged correctly or something, it did not run the drill very long. the other was fine though. I contacted customer service and asked for a replacement and behold - it came within 10 days. great value and customer sevice. - Drills - Cordless Tools - Battery - Cordless Drill'

Automatic Self Wind
From what I can tell, this is the same seiko automatic I wore for a quarter of a century, with a very minor difference in the wrist band latch. I loved it. About the only time I didn't wear it was in the shower each morning. It kept very accurate time, and wound itself with flawless reliability. I received mine as a Christmas present when I was a sophmore in high school. Young men being what they are, I sent it through the washer more than once in my jeans pocket. I also wore it caving through a number of exceptionally muddy passages. I whacked the crystal innumerable times on door jambs and had to replace them twice. I wore it with confidence on dates to elegant restaurants, weddings, business meetings and hikes in the Mountains. We got rained on, snowed on and broiled in the summer sun from Christmas of '76 until sometime after 2001.
I've since tried a string of battery operated quartz watches. Every time the battery dies I am reminded that I never had to experience that inconvenience with my seiko automatic. None of the quartz watches have proven to be as durable.
Unless you are just trying to impress others with your ability to spend ridiculous sums, this is what I would buy. It is the maximum bang for your buck: rugged, good-looking, insanely reliable and very reasonably priced. It is what I plan to buy if my current Christmas present ever wears out. Seiko 5 Men's SNK793 Automatic Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch
I purchased this about a month ago. My dad and grandfather both had self winding watches decades ago. I was putting about my fourth battery in another (nice) Seiko when I decided to look on Amazon. I targeted Seiko since I had received one 25 years ago for a gift. It has been fantastic for a quarter of a century. It is quartz and has about a five year battery cycle, but I digress. This one came in and after reading the reviews I decided to take it to a jeweler to have the band adjusted. This is a relatively heavy watch, so if you don't want it flopping around on your wrist and pulling out hair I suggest a decent fit. After wearing it one full day it was wound significantly and has kept excellent time since. The only adjustment I've made is the date setting when we flipped from September to October. The time has not needed set in the three weeks I've worn it. It is keeping pace with my quartz models and is within a few seconds of the time tag on my cell phone (usually pretty close). I have not tested it with the standards board radio broadcasts on shortwave radio, but it has been close enough I haven't felt the need to do so. If you want a stylish watch that never needs a battery and keeps good time, consider this model. I give it five stars as I've had some compliments on it. If you think going to have it fitted is a hassle, then knock off half a star, but not for the watch itself.
I have had two Seiko 5 watches, and I liked them, especially for their status as a nice budget watch. They are lightweight yet relatively sturdy, and they look pretty good, but not great. They are perfect watches for students or people coming out of school who want an acceptably serious-looking watch for their everyday activities, that they don't have to worry about scuffing up.
The biggest downside of the Seiko 5 in my experience is accuracy. I had one that was off by a couple of minutes a day. And it was running slow, not fast, so I had to adjust it frequently and was constantly worried about being late. It got to where I'd set it five minutes fast and hope that I remembered to adjust it before it went behind again. I think that watch may have been the exception rather than the rule, as my other Seiko 5 was reasonably accurate. I had to adjust it every week or so. I took the inaccurate one in to a jeweler's for adjustment, and he said he could adjust it, but it wouldn't do much good in the long term, it would just get out of sync again.
Still, Seiko 5s were my primary watch for a good few years. It is a reliable basic automatic watch and has decent enough water resistance. A good choice for a budget automatic.'
