Good Product - ipad, good product

Great portable stand. In my opinion, the item description nails it. It is very portable when folded up; can be easily tossed in a drawer or bag. It held my iPad perfectly while in its case and is sturdy enough to operate. It didn't slide around the counter tops and is adjustable for different viewing angles. It pretty much suits all of my requirements. However, my one minor complaint is that when the iPad is sitting vertically in the mount and the charging cable is plugged in, the cable interferes with the stability of the iPad. In other words, if the mount held the iPad maybe just a half-inch higher off the surface, the plug wouldn't be a problem. Horizontally is of course no problem. I personally don't find this to be an issue as I seldom have it plugged in when I'm using it anyway. Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand for Apple iPad, Galaxy Tab, BlackBerry Play Book

This stand is great. I take it with me everywhere my iPad goes. The stand is very compact and portable. When folded, it is small enough to fit with my iPad in a 10.2" net book sleeve. The stand adjusts to every angle you could want for both portrait and landscape use. It's great when resting it on a pillow while lying in bed or for placing on a lap desk. At night, I use this on my night stand to charge the iPad while it displays my night stand app and plays my audiobook. When reading, I put the iPad in this stand and sit and read in landscape mode. When I want to lie down and read, I lock the iPad in portrait mode, put it horizontally in this stand and lie down one my side to read the book 'sideways'. In the kitchen, it it my iPad cookbook stand. I am very happy I bought this. The iPad is stable and safe in the stand. It fits great, even with a clear protective case on the iPad. The only issue I have is that the charger will not fit with this in portrait mode. The stand is too low to the ground. However, this can be remedied by turning the iPad so the charger is on top. Very happy with my purchase. Would buy again!

Pros:

1. Folds down to a size akin to that of an eyeglasses case - an ideal size for carrying and travel.

2. Very light - perfect for carrying and travel.

3. Very sturdy when used (with iPad) on a clean, hard surface. The grips on the feet of this stand keep it stationary, and the stand does not move when I poke my iPad. I also own a leatherette iPad case/stand (it holds an iPad horizontally at adjustable angles), and it tends to move a lot when I use it as a stand on a hard surface and poke my iPad. The Arkon stand doesn't move at all.

4. Elegant design suitable for casual and professional use/occasions.

5. Practical design: The screws and nuts that hold the moving parts together are user-accessible (i.e., a user could tighten if necessary), and adjustments in angle are made via a kind of ratchet system (albeit plastic). I'd expected an adjustment system dependent on friction, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the Arkon stand uses what I'm describing as a ratchet-type system, because I would expect a system that depends on friction to loosen over time much faster than I think the ratchet-type system the Arkon stand actually uses will.

Cons:

1. As other reviewers have noted, when using the stand with an iPad, if you want to position the iPad vertically with the iPad's home button on the bottom, you will not be able to have the charger cord that comes with the iPad plugged in. This is hardly a deal-breaker, as you can always have the home button/charger port at the top if you must have the iPad charger cord plugged in (for use with the A/C adapter or with USB), and if you use the stand to hold an iPad horizontally, having the charger cord plugged in will be no problem. However, if you use the stand to hold an iPad vertically with the home button on top so you can use the charging port, you will not be able to use the audio out jack, because that will be on the bottom.

There are rubbery pads on the feet of the stand, and on the parts of the stand that touch the face of the iPad or whatever unit you use the stand to hold. I assume they are held in place with glue and may eventually come loose, but I expect that should that happen, it will easy to re-glue them.

The price of this unit has been fluctuating since I discovered it in Amazon's listings (visit camelcamelcamel and enter a product name or ASIN, etc., to see a chart of the item's price history at Amazon and by third-party sellers), but even at full list price it is a fair deal considering how overpriced so many (I'd say most) accessories for the iPad (and similar products) tend to be.

If you need an iPad stand - for use at home (dining table, nightstand, coffee table, etc.), at a cafe, on a desktop at work or in a school, etc. - you can pay more than you'll pay for the Arkon, but I doubt you'll find a better combination of form and function.

Highly recommended. - Good Product - Ipad - Travel - Portable'

6 Person Inflatable Boat

I bought this boat a few months ago, to hit the local lakes and reservoirs, where they dont allow large boats, much less powered boats, other than electric.

I also bought the boat boot, a mini-kota electric motor, and of-course a deep cycle marine battery.

First day out, perfect, inflated easily although, with the boot on, it is alittle of a challenge. We fished all day on it, and within a few minutes in the water, we were landing bass. Now we fish in these lakes throughout the summer, in our kayak, but we cant with our boat, cause its too large.

The sevylor is perfect, I did buy an extra large duffle bag to store it in, it inflates easily with an electric pump, and deflates easily as well. You do need a foot pump or high capacity double throw, hand pump to top it off, the electric pumps wont do.

Holding 6 people is a far reach, it will hold 3 comfortably, 4 tight, six?? I doubt it. maybe 6 children, but I weigh 210, my 2 sons weigh 165 each, and we were comfortable.

The seats are pretty cool, I would recommend the boat boot, it adds extra protection.

Bottom line, its a great boat, for that lake, reservoir. You need a "good electric pump, plus a hand pump, the boot, a motor and a battery as well as the motor mount and a large duffle bag, cause you are not going to get it back in the box..... Sevylor Fish Hunter Inflatable 6-Person Boat

This boat is ok, but it's not as wide as you would think for being 12 feet long. It's not wide enough for 2 adults to sit side by side, if you are facing straight ahead. Probably not even 2 kids. Sorry to say I just sold mine on craigslist. I recently just bought the intex excursion 4 for a hundred bucks delivered and it's much more comfortable having really wide air cushion seats that actually have a back. It seems much wider than the fish hunter and I like that I can sit side by side with someone and still have room to stretch my legs. I think either the excursion 4 or 5 would be your most comfortable inflatable boat compared to the fish hunter. On top of that, the oars are included with the excursion! Cheers!

this is a very good boat for the price. its easy to inflate and set up and seems to be well built. plus it will take an electric or small gas motor very well. great for fishing if there are only 2 or 3 of you. this boat is listed as a 6 person boat. but i would call it more like 2 adults and 3 small children or maybe 2 adults and 2 midgets. you could not fit 6 people in here sitting sideways. plus the battery holding bag it came with is very flimsy and tore when i tried to put a battery in it. This is still an exceptional boat for the price. it is not professional grade thickness pvc or rubber but still strong and seems to hold up real well. when in line to purchase my motor for this boat, a min-toka endura 34lb, wich is what i would recommend, the guy behind me in line told me about how he and his buddies took this boat all the way down the snake river rapids without a hitch. good boat. buy it.

i bought the sevylor fish hunter hf360 about two weeks ago and it is strong and durable i have been all down the river in this boat and hit rocks and everything you can think of in it and it never leaked any air at all it is a great boat but u can not fit six people in there you can have three people and a cooler and all the gear you need i built a motor mount for it and got a deep cycle battery and minn kota endura 30lb thrust trolling motor it works great i would say it is well worth the money buy it u wont be dissapointed

update ive had this boat 3 weeks now and it is still great it's holding up very well still dosent leak any air have not had to patch it or anything it is a very durable boat i wasnt putting enough air in it at first then i found out air it up with a battery pump first then finish it off with the hand pump and its alot stronger and floats shallower also im 6 ft 4 in and 315 lbs i can sit on the back of it and run my trolling motor with no problem its worth every penny

We have had ours for about 6 years and find it great for our two person fishing trips. We can stretch out with

all of our gear. Our older model DOES have the threaded valves. Common sense should keep one from punctures;

do not glide over sharp objects/rocks. Do see FH 360 mods on google or videos for some interesting modifications

that can be done; seats, floors, shade tops, etc.

It houses the large motor mount and it went on with no trouble. We picked up a Minntoka motor on Craigs and purchased

a smaller "wheelchair" battery at a local battery shop. The battery fits into the protective boat pouch perfectly and weighs far less than the conventional marine batteries. (about $65 for the top of the line model)

We place a styrofoam-type mat on the boat's floor when we bring the dogs along...good fun, good fishing.

Overall a good boat. I had previously purchased a "3 man" boat", so I was caught off guard when this boat didn't come with oars or a pump - fortunately I wasn't far from home when I discovered this. I haven't had an issue - yet - but I worry about the "drains" in the bottom of the boat. Seems to me having a predesigned hole in the bottom, even if it has a plug could only lead to problems on the water, and doesn't make up for the convienence for draining when on land.

The most important thing to know about any of these boats is that the word "man" in the description must mean someone who is less than 2' tall. My family (wife & 2 young kids) fit in this boat if the kids sit on our legs. (In the "3 man" boat, with my back at one end, my feet touched the other and I'm 5'10"). I do wish that the fishing pole mounts were removable.

I purchased this boat for leisurely cruises down a local river. Although our river is relatively tame, I opted for this boat because it is a lot thicker than other boats available. I didn't want to spend extra money for one made out of denier. I've taken it out twice and have been pretty happy with it. A friend of mine had this same boat but an earlier version. I really like the way it was put together. Although I've heard a lot of negative comments about the new valves on this boat, I haven't experienced any of it. But being leery of valves popping open, I placed a strip of duct tape over every valve. I'm not sure if they would have popped open without the duct tape, I'm just not ready to risk it. So far, I've taken two adults and three kids on the two voyages and have had plenty of room for a cooler and several squirt guns.Oh and the coleman AC pump works great on this. I can blow it up inside of 10 minutes.'

Womens-newbalan - women, womens-newbalan

I am a huge New Balance fan. I have owned about 10 pairs of them in all different styles (cross trainer, running, trail, etc.). These are the first pair in a long time that I have order that are not true to size. I always take a 9.5 and they always fit. I read that these ran a little small, so I order a 1/2 size larger leading me to order a size 10 womens. I rec'd my order and tried them on, and they were still super snug. Had to return them for a 10.5. If ordering, I recommend order a full size above your usual. New Balance Women's WR1011 Motion Control Running Shoe,White/Blue,11 B

I have worn NB shoes for as long as I can remember and have always felt like it was a good quality product, made to last, and a good compromise between top-notch technology and price.

I ordered this shoe in an 8 wide, because that's the size that I've worn in every other NB shoe I've owned. These were too short for me and my fred flintstone feet. I returned them and found an 8.5 instead. I found information on New Balance's Web site about the "lasts", which is the category for the wood or plastic basis that the shoe is designed around. Search their website to find out more; this will help ensure you order the right size. This also explains why some people have thought it runs small and others think it's true to size. This particular shoe is built on what is called the SL-2 last, which tends to be narrow in the heel, with a deep toe box, high instep, and wide forefront. The reason I mention this is because feet are different sizes and different shapes, and that shape can make a shoe feel large or small. For more information, do a search on NB Website for "Guide to Product Fit"; it will tell you all about the different lasts.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because, like many running shoes, it's ugly :)

This is a great shoe for the overpronator; it has helped greatly with my shin splints. I felt the difference immediately when I first used it. However, those who do not want or need pressure and stiffness in the midsole section of the shoe will not be happy with this style.

There were so many reviews telling me to order one full size up, I did just that. Normally I wear a 12 in New Balance shoes, they always fit fine. But, like others recommended, I ordered one size up--a women's 13. Well, I just got them today and my feet are SWIMMING in them! To the point that I realize the 12s would fit me just fine. So I am sending them back and getting a size 12 instead.

Here's the deal: I have read that NB shoes always run small. So order higher than your usual size in DRESS shoes. Right: so my size in dress shoes is 11 or 11.5. I frankly don't feel that these NB 1011 shoes are any different in sizing than any other NB shoe! What a hassle to return this shoe even though I inwardly wanted to order my regular NB size from the beginning, but was swayed by the reviews! So order one size up AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I am a heavy woman with flat feet, bad knees and low back pain. These shoes are wonderful for standing to watch my kids' soccer, baseball, basketball games. They are also comfortable for walking and look fairly nice with a pair of jeans. I'm extremely happy with these shoes.

this is an excellent shoe. great motion control for pronaters. it runs small. i had to get a 9 when i usually wear a 7.5 or 8. very comfortable. good moisture control. the best runner i have ever had.

I listened to all of the reviews and ordered two pairs to be safe - one 1/2 size bigger than normal size, and one a whole size bigger than my normal size. I received the smaller of the two first and found it just too big. Obviously I will have to return the pair that's a whole size larger also.

Although I truly appreciate the reviews when making choices, this is one case where I wish I'd also purchased my true size also to be sure. Shoes can be tricky to buy online so go with your gut, but I definately agree with the small handful that say to beware of the others that say they run small.

BTW, great shoe for motion control, and you can't beat the price!

I really like these shoes. They provide a lot of support and feel great. That said, be sure to order up a size. I wear an 8.5D in most shoes, but I always run in a 9D so that I have a bit of extra room. I always buy New Balance running shoes and have never had a problem with sizing. I ordered these in a 9D expecting to have a bit of extra room as always, but my toe was up against the end of the shoe. The 9.5D fits great. - Women - Wide Toe Box - Womens-newbalan - New Balance'

Bluetooth Transmitter - wireless adapter, bluetooth transmitter

I ordered this item because I wanted to be able to watch TV in bed while my wife slept. Its great product but not for watching TV or video. There is a delay in the sound, it's like watching an old Godzilla movie, the people's mouth move and then you hear their voices. I tried it on three other TVs my laptop and my Zen video player and got the same results. I guess this is why they call it a Bluetooth Music Transmitter. Miccus BluBridge mini-jack: Portable, Bluetooth Music Transmitter with Swiveling connector for all (1/8-Inch) Headphones

This is my second try at a bluetooth transmiter from a 3.5 audio jack. Compared to the first attempt, the Blubridge was a dream come true. I was able to pair to my Plantronics Voyager 855 Stereo Bluetooth Headset with no problem. The first device that I plugged it into after charging via the micro ubs charger was my ipod. The sound was loud and clear. I then plugged it into my netbook and watched some streaming video, no problems. I also have been using it at work with my work PC to listen to streaming audio while I move wirelessly around the office. I do start loosing connectivity after about 15-20 ft, but I only need it to work within that range for my needs. My favorite feature is that I can use it while I have it charging via the usb connection. You just need to turn it back on after you plug it in, as it turns off when it connections to the charger. Another weakness is the user manual is pretty brief. I have serveral questions about why the light blinks the way it does, but it works great. So with few complaints I give this device 4 stars with a strong recommendation.

I am a talk radio junkie. From the time I leave the house in the morning until I get home at night, I listen to talk radio, and have for years. Until recently, I listened on a pretty standard clock radio that I had on my desk. Well, the Powers That Be here in my office decided that anything audible was no longer permitted, and also that taking things out of your ear whenever someone approached (i.e. headphones) was "unprofessional." After three weeks of silence and not knowing what was going on in the world, I started getting desperate. And then it occurred to me that the people who instituted the policy LOVE their Bluetooth headsets and probably wouldn't keep me from using one. So I bought one, and found this, and they linked up beautifully. The headset is hidden by my hair, and I've been secretly plugged in for more than two weeks, now. I can move freely about the office - the range is pretty good, though not enormous. The fidelity isn't great, but, for talk, it doesn't matter. So far, the lifespan has been adequate - I turn it off and plug it in for an hour at lunchtime, and it gets me through 8:00-5:00. The only thing I would have liked as a charger that actually plugs in so that I could turn off my computer, but that's a tiny gripe.

So I needed a Bluetooth adapter that would transmit stereo from my laptop and iPod nano to my Bluetooth headphones. I found this little guy and decided to give it a try. It paired easily to my Motorola headphones (S9HD) and I can easily switch it back and forth between my iPod and laptop without having to pair again to my headphones.

Late at night is momma's time and I get to listen to my shows (sorry I'm a Colbert junkie) streaming from the internet. The thing works great from my laptop to my headphones for all sorts of things including Hulu, Youtube, Comedy Central etc. I can enjoy music and content without waking the kids in the other room. The reception is pretty good, even as I move into the bathroom from the bedroom, they stay connected. Not sure what that is in distance but it works great for what I need it for.

I appreciate that the battery charges via a mini USB port. Very convenient because it uses the same connector at my headphones which means I can use my Motorola wall charger to also charge the mini-jack.

I tried the Sony Ipod Bluetooth Transmitter.

I tried the Rocketfish Ipod bluetooth Transmitter

This is the only transmitter that paired with either my Samsung wep500

or the Callpod Dragon V2.

Both of these models of Bluetooth headset are older so maybe I shouldn't fault

Sony or Rocketfish but fact of the matter is that theirs wouldn't work and this transmitter hooked up

effortlessly.

Good features

1.Because it carries it's own charge it doesn't drain the Ipod batteries.

2 It bends outwards it is about the width of my Nano 2g and only makes it longer.

3. You control the sound volume from the Ipod.

4. It uses a standard micro usb port to charge so I can use my callpod charger and my motorola

charger.

5. It sounds really clear.

6. Used with an Ipod it is really loud I actually am using it at 3/4 volume.

7. It pairs with older model Bluetooth Headsets that Sony and RocketFish wouldn't recognize.

Bad feature.

Another device to recharge.

Initially I tried the JayBird Bluetooth Adapter for MP3 Players (Black) cause it had decent ratings - but it didn't come with a charger so couldn't use it. So after looking at all the other adapters on Amazon - all of which had terrible reviews- I thought I'd give this no-name brand a try. It's more expensive than the JayBird so I was hopeful it would sound great. Sadly that is not the case. There is _significant_ static when paired with my SD-9 HDs. The same headphones sound fantastic when paired with my computer, laptop and phone. I tried a couple different audio sources in case it was the plug but there's static even when it's not plugged in to any audio source.

Pairing was also a bit tricky. Most bluetooth devices follow a pretty common convention - hold the power button down for an extended period and it starts to flash and pair with other devices nearby. This one is no different _but_ it starts to flash after about 3 seconds holding down the power button indicating that it's doing "something". Turns out something is turning on. You have to continue holding down the power after it starts flashing until it flashes both red and blue. After doing it once its easy, but it can be confusing at first.

It still suits my needs as an adapter for my Zune during workouts. If I knew about the static ahead of time I'm not sure I would have paid the $60 for it. - Bluetooth Transmitter - A2dp - Bluetooth Adapter - Wireless Adapter'

Apologetics

One of the most thought provoking, heartwarming, character building, well presented slices of life I have ever read! Every parent, child, business owner, employee, teacher, student, politician, citizen - in short, everyone - should read this book. Rank it with (Jim Stovall's) The Ultimate Gift, and place it on the shelf with the most profound members of your private library, beginning with the Bible. Should be part of every school cirriculum in the United States. A must read! If You Can't Climb The Wall, Build A Door!: Principles to Live By When Quitting is Not an Option!

This book was bad. I bought it because I sometimes find myself lacking in motivation to face my own obstacles, and the title sounded like an idea that I might be able to relate to.

First of all, DOCTOR Charles Lever? Forget it, he has a doctorate in ministry. Except for his BA in economics, all of his work is in religious studies. Lever fails to back up most of his claims, and instead of basing advise on actual research, he resorts to (possibly exaggerated or fabricated) anecdotes and what makes sense to him (advice as sound as what you might get from a random sod at the pub). If you extract and ignore all of the unsound arguments, uncited 'factual' claims and justifications in Christian scripture while waiting to get to the real substance of this book then you will be sadly disappointed. If anything then I actually walked away from this book slightly less motivated.

Usually I don't like to destroy books, but this is one of the very few to make it into the recycle bin. I'll stick to reading biographies of great scientists and explorers when I need motivation.'

Simply put:

If you are shopping for a new LCD LED 3D capable TV...

Your search is over!

This Sony Bravia 46 inch model does it all.

Even the sound quality, for such a thin chassis,

is impressive.

The picture clarity from this 240hz processor is

un-matched by any other brand.

With Direct Tv the picture quality is sharp and detailed.

Add 3D to this mix and the 5 Direct TV 3D channels are awesome

with the appropriate glasses.

There's internet capabilities and tons of apps.

This TV is the "total package!" Sony BRAVIA KDL46EX720 46-Inch 1080p 3D LED HDTV, Black

I just bought this sony from Amazon. It arrived super fast 3 days. I love this T.V. it has everything you could want, and one of, if not the best, picture, of any hdtv out today. Check out C-Net and Consumer Reports reviews. I own 4 sony hdtv's. I am very pleased with all of them, no trouble what-so-ever with any of them, from 60" to 32".This new line of sony hdtv's has "motionflow" tech. from 120hz. up to 960hz. The 3D works great. If you are looking for a great hdtv, this is it, at a great price. I highly recommend this T.V.

I got this one recently. It is very stylish and elegant. You can expect nothing more from the picture. It is simply brilliant.

I know people spend days researching TVs - dont waste your time just get this one and you will be fully satisfied.

it looks great

I can see the pores on Sigourney Weaver's face in Aliens. Web interface is nice. If you want any type of bass in your sound it sucks...get an ZVOX 575 IncediBase Low-Profile, High-Performance Single-Cabinet Surround Sound System and you are set. The virtual surround is nice for voice though. I use them both on at the same time.

Didn't expect all the different widescreen formats to be an issue. May have bought one size up for all the black space that accommodates the diff formats, but it's pricey and wasn't even out yet when I bought my 720. I paid $250 more someplace else. Argh.

I bought the Bravia Blu-Ray just because it had built in wifi...the wifi dongle seems to be out of stock a lot. Nice tv. Will probably never use the 3D...lol. Who cares. Nice menu and interface. Amazon video service is pretty nice too. Free vids for Amazon Prime members that rival Netflix. The Netflix on-screen app is terrible.

Just got mine. WE LOVED IT, my 9y old son is so excited with the image playing PS3. Haven`t buy the 3D glasses yet.. But really excited to try.

All especifications wrote in other comments. So I`m just writing to say that it is a perfect TV with an Amazing picture.

LED 46", 3D, 240hz, Internet.. everything in a beautiful design REALLY THIN with Sony quality.

We know how long we look for TV`s before make the decision, but I can tell you this was the best decision for sure.

I think that I just wouldn`t buy this one if my room was bigger and than I could buy the 55" . LOL.

THIS SONY SERIE IS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER BRAND. I SEARCHED FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS. I`M REALLY HAPPY WITH MY NEW AWSOME TV!

This is a great TV. See the other reviews, I'm pretty happy with it. 3D works great, although I still feel like it's a gimmick. I bought the 3D pack that included a 3D transmitter, 3D glasses and a movie. Do note that you don't need a 3D transmitter for this TV, it is built in, so you might as well buy the glasses separately unless there is a monetary advantage.

This is my first Sony TV in a while (usually they just cost too much above the competition to bother). I am impressed at the design of everything, from the menus to the remote, to the very thin nice looking TV itself. Clearly this is Sony's core business.

I did want to point out some things for those of you hoping to use online services like Amazon Video On Demand with this TV.

Amazon has directions on how to setup services on the TV, which requires going to the Sony website and signing up for their online service (free) and entering a registration code that you have to get from your TV. This TV doesn't have cross media bar, and there is no "Activate Enhanced Features" option. So you may be wondering where to find your registration code. I called Sony service and they pointed out where it is- it is located in the Netflix section. Even if you need the registration code for other services like Amazon Video On Demand or Amazon Prime Instant Viewing or whatever, you need to look in this section to find your 4 digit registration code.

Second, if you do want to use the internet with it, you need an Ethernet cable hook up, or you are forced to buy a proprietary Sony wireless adapter. WIRELESS INTERNET IS NOT BUILT INTO THE TV! I would suggest that if you don't have an Ethernet jack near your TV, try using a power line Ethernet adapter(plugged into the wall, not a power strip) instead of buying Sony's scamware. At least you can use the power line adapter for other stuff and it may even cost less. I just plug a router into the power line adapter and plug it into the TV and all my game consoles. Wireless is still a pain for most applications and this solves many of the issues game consoles and TVs have.

Overall, I'm disappointed. The image quality is good, but also a little bit dull. Although I could have lived with the image quality, I found sound quality simply unbearable. I would not recommend buying the TV, unless you hook it up to a stereo via optical cable when watching movies (which I don't have, because I still like my 20+ year old stereo). The TV does not have regular analog audio out, only headphones out, which, however, will keep the regular sound on the TV always muted. I found this to be a major design flaw of this TV, because I don't want to turn on the Stereo every time I watch the news, and at the same time, I also don't want to manually plug in the stereo when watching a movie.

Finally, even with "Motionflow" turned off entirely, I still noticed some smoothing when watching Blu-Ray movies, which was not acceptable for me as I don't enjoy watching movies with even the slightest "soap opera effect". Others may find this not to be an issue though.

The internet features, however, are very nice: all major online services, such as Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, are supported.

I bought the TV last week, and returned it this weekend. Instead, I went for a Samsung UN46D6420 (6400), which produces a much crisper image, has a sleeker design and much better sound (and audio out). Unfortunately, Amazon Instant Video is not supported, so I cannot get rid of my Roku player (yet). - Hdtv - Led - 1080p - Sony'

240hz - 46 inch, led

I just got the TV in today, and from I experience so far is that this TV is amazing.

Black level is great! One of the best I seen so far.

Internet connection is great on the TV. Very useful for watching Netflix.

The qwerty remotes that came with my TV is very useful for web browsing, but don't expect the browser to be like normal computer browser because it is very bad, slow, hard to navigate, and cumbersome.

For gaming, in my opinion, there is no lag if you turn off the picture enhancements options, and also turning on the game mode. I would say the lag on the TV would be probably somewhere between 30-50ms.

3D is great! I watched Shrek 3D, and it's just stunning. A major improvement from last year model. I probably will buy Tron 3D, and see it on the TV soon.

Cons: HDMI input is located on the side. Clouding & Flashlighting that can be seen in dark screen.

Update: After 2 weeks of having the TV I noticed some flash lighting / clouding that can be seen in pitch black room. Not a big deal at first, but overtime I am starting to be annoyed by it. I am thinking of getting it exchange for higher end model. Therefore I am rating the TV 3/5 stars. If would be a solid 5 stars if there is no flaw.

Update 2: Returned my set and bought 46" Sony HX929. Samsung UN46D7000 46-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D LED HDTV (Silver)

BROWSER + 3D

I returned the D6300 (which I loved), to get this one, because I really, really wanted both the 3D and the Web browser, even though ... WOW, expensive!

(B.S. ALERT - You might notice on the TV comparison chart that the browser mysteriously "disappears" from the entry-level 3D TVs and doesn't reappear until THIS TV, $800 later, which strikes me as SLIMY of Samsung. But I won't even let this ruin my happy feeling, darn it.)

OK, EXPENSIVE, but I used the Amazon Store Card to finance with no interest for 24 months, and if you divide the cost by 24 months, it's less than the price of cable. Let's NOT talk about how much the extended Squaretrade warranty was, theft / accident insurance from Worth Ave Group, Blu-Ray player, 3D glasses :: crying ::.)

ANYWAY, I can't imagine NOT loving this TV.

The browser is a little slow. It's buggy and even freezes when I watch multiple embedded videos full-screen (I watch a site that aggregates various videos from sc2 gaming). I even have had to turn off the TV on a couple of occasions to "reboot." I wish I had one of those laser-pointed remotes I saw on the LG. But so what. It works, and the videos looks AMAZING in HD; better than I thought.

APPS

The YouTube app REALLY need some work; for example, whenever I use the app (which is rare, as I use the browser, as stated), I'm forced to watch some idiot with hair gel hosting some weird "Jackass"-style show while I search. I HATE that, and haven't figured out how to turn this off. I suggest the Roku for anything other than YouTube (as the Roku doesn't have YouTube, thanks Google.) The QWERTY remote also doesn't work in the YouTube app; you have to navigate to each letter. Baffling. Some other features (left and right to switch between videos) are okay.

Had a chance to try some of the other widgets and apps; the Facebook app is pretty low-fi (read: crappy) but it does get the job done.

Twitter widget works well and is appealing. You can even tweet while watching TV, which is hilarious and pretty cool.

Other widgets (weather, etc.) are graphically very nice.

Anyway, as far as streaming live content goes, I'm using my new Roku ($100!) to watch Netfllix and FREE movies (not to mention UStream and Justin.TV), and that has really all the app functionality I need, except for YouTube, though this TV does have that, as I said.

BROWSER

Browser is fine; crashes when I watch too many embedded videos, but so do some computers (more or less), so it doesn't worry me. I'm grateful for it, and I think having the extended warranty and insurance makes me not sweat it too much. They will probably update the firmware as time goes on, as well. But works like any browser, albeit with a bit of lag (though I am going WiFi only): has Favorites, History, etc. What's surprising is how AMAZINGLY CLEAR AND HI-RES video looks on this TV, just using the WiFi signal: I swear, better quality than my 1-year old iMac, going through Ethernet: no idea how this is even possible! I was expecting hitches and lo-res, so yes, totally amazed at the eye-poppingly colorful, crystal-clear HD quality when watching YouTube, in particular.

REMOTE

I LOVE the remote so far: it can control my Blu-Ray player (something the 6300 TV remote didn't have enough buttons for), and as I wrote (in my review of the BD-D6700 Blu-Ray player), that Blu-Ray player's remote isn't even LIT.

But the QWERTY remote on this comes through; the remote is hefty, solid, and backlit, and does the job well.

SOUND

Very nice! I'm an audiophile (musician) and I think it represents highs, mids, lower mids and bass quite well indeed. Balanced, thick, clean and loud. Don't think I'll buy a soundbar, though guess I could later on. Doesn't NEED one, though, and that's very important to me.

SUMMARY

So YES, imperfections aside, cost aside, I LOVE this TV. It's has an AMAZING picture and EVERYTHING I need.

DEAR SAMSUNG:

I think you're being SHADY on leaving the browser off the cheaper 3D models.

AND you should make that Blu-Ray player work a bit better.

BUT your customer service is great, and I forgive you, because this is an AWESOME TV.

But dudes ... seriously on the other stuff.

--

p.s. Just discovered if you roll your finger around on the arrows on the QWERTY side (not pressing), it senses and acts like a mouse trackpad, controlling the pointer. If this TV was a girl, I'd be proposing. (Follow-up note: Still wish there was a "laser pointer" option like the LG.)

p.p.s. CLOUDING? Okay, I DID see symmetrical white areas on the screen when it was black -- something I didn't notice on the $800-cheaper 6300. Not visible when watching anything. Called Samsung (easy to reach), who told me it was due to heat / moisture during shipping and should resolve in 2 weeks, but to call them if it didn't resolve or got worse, and to keep TV ventilated (lol). Suggested I turn backlighting to 7 and go to Standard Picture Mode, and now you can't see it when black. Don't notice any less picture quality with backlighting lower.

I'm usually INSANELY picky about things like this; but the Sony LED forums ALSO have the same complaint about this "problem"; but if I can't see it while I'm watching anything (so far), to me it isn't a problem, so I'm not going to worry. I have the 4-year warranty, so if it gets worse for some reason, I'll know what to do. If it doesn't, it just seems less-than-ideal, but really a non-issue. - 46 Inch - Led - Hdtv - 240hz'

Optical Cable - toslink, digital audio

If it doesn't snap you probably forgot to take the little rubber protectors off the end of the cable... like I did for about a minute. Once removed it snaps in perfectly.

The cable is high quality, long, and very flexible and has nicely constructed connectors. And it is about 1/4 the cost of radio sxxxx and bsst buy, both being rip-off artists on items like cables.

Its things like this that will make me a prime return customer. Who can't wait 2 days to save big bucks?? AmazonBasics Toslink Digital Audio Optical Cable (6 Feet/1.8 Meters)

My goal in life is to never buy overpriced cables. I figure that it is a cable and how could it break. After all it just sits there collecting dust. It's a digital signal going through glass/plastic fiber, there will be no difference compared to the $450 dollar AudioQuest class 5 optical cable - TosLink plugs 1m (3.28'). If you bought this $450 cable, I cry for you.

The cable is your basic black color and it looks as nice as a cable can look. The cable is flexible and bendy just like a cable should be. It is long. The connection fits snugly from my Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K 7-Channel A/V Receiver (Black) to my ancient Philips DirecTV DVR With 40GB TIVO.

It comes in a nice cardboard box that is so simple to open. You can then toss the packaging into your recycle bin for recycling.

1. Open the box.

2. Remove the cable

3. Remove the twistie tie (counter-clockwise rotation is critical for success)

4. REMOVE THE PLASTIC NIBS covering the connectors

5. Plug one end into your TV optical port and the other end into the electronic device of your choice

6. Enjoy the show

These AmazonBasics cables are the cat's ass. I wish they came in shorter lengths (cable neat freak), but the price can't be beat. You won't be disappointed.

A really well made cable. If you are new to this Toslink cabling you may not notice that AmazonBasics Toslink cables come with a near transparent protective silicon cover over the tiny optical connector. Look closely as they are there, and obviously removing this BEFORE installing the cable will be the difference between a trouble free installation and ten minutes of fiddling with connections and scratching your head trying to figure out why your optical connection is not operating.

I had ordered two of these cables to hook up from my computer chassis to my Denon AV Receiver and another for the connection from the Denon AV Receiver to the TV. Being the first time that I had ever used Toslink Digital Audio cables I thought that you just plug them into the outlet and it would work automatically.

I didnt know that the cables contained a clear plastic cap to protect the tip of the cable on each end so the cable kept popping out of the slot when I tried to plug it in with the protective plastic cap on it. I was going crazy so I went online to read reviews on other optical cables, watch installation videos on youtube, and forums to see if other users have been having the same issues but none of the videos tell you to remove the clear plastic protective cap so I thought that the cap was part of the cable. Luckily some other amazon members read my review and told me to remove the clear plastic cap, the cables have been working fine ever since. Amazon has an awesome community, thanks for the help guys.

I would highly recommend this cable to anyone who needs a toslink digital audio cable.

Since I upgraded to a new tv and surround sound I wanted the best connections.

The digital audio is perfect.

Helpful hint, the little rubber things on the tips have to be removed first LOL.

I tried jamming the thing into the Blu Ray player and it just kept popping back out.

Mr. Tech Man I am not.

As soon as I took those off it snapped right in.

Cheap.

Effective.

A must have for HDTV owners.

This product works. It works the same as my expensive big name Optical cable that cost 10 times more. I cannot hear a difference. I imagine 99 percent of the population won't either. So save your money.

I too thought the cable was too loose, but when I re-read the comments, I re-checked the cable ends, and sure enough, there is a little, soft plastic cap on the male pin at each end of the cable. Carefully remove the cap by softly pulling with your fingernails, and Bingo! the cap comes off, the cable snaps in just as it should! PLEASE, all of you who have had looseness probs with this cable, check the ends carefully...the cap is hard to notice, but it blurs the light(strangely enough the cable still worked fine, even with the caps on), if you feel the little soft cap, you've found the problem; just gently pull it off, put the cap in your recycle bin, plug your now functioning cable into the devices and enjoy! It was only after I re-read the comments/reviews that I closely checked my cable, and sure enough, Amazon's quality prevailed and I was wrong wrong wrong! Def recommend this product. I'm no expert, perhaps gold plated or sapphire laser might be better, but this do-dad works just fine for me! - Optical Cable - Amazonbasics - Toslink - Digital Audio'

Ethernet Cables

they are cheap and there are many of them! they are a little smaller for TV cable but with some use of force they fit. I think for computer network cable they will be very good (but who uses cables with all the cheap wireless routers available?). Cable-Clip White RG6 (100 pieces per bag)

This is a good product that appears to be well-made. It did the job exactly as I desired. It fits a small cable only, however. Anything bigger than ethernet cable (cat-5) probably won't fit. Great price, no complaints.

A bag with a 100 of these cable-clips for this price is worth it. All the ones I've used had no problems.

My pros and cons:

Pro(s):

- Cheap (price-wise)

- Plenty (lost/broke one? no worries, it's a bag of a 100 pieces!)

- Simple to use (just aim and hammer away, the nails are already set inside the plastic clips)

Con(s):

- None

Note(s):

- The product says RG6, I'm not sure why some people try to fit it with CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, etc.

Recommendation(s)/Suggestion(s):

- If you're installing these outdoors, keep them out of the sun (long term exposure to the sun will cause the plastic to fade/discolor and become brittle)

This is great for tidying up areas/straightening cables for long distances, cheers!

Does what it's designed to do - secure cable to the wall. I doesn't grip Cat5 very tightly, so if you're trying to get the cable tight to the wall, you'll still need to do something like put a dot of Elmer's every few inches, but it works very nicely as the primary guide. Cheap and effective.

These are perfect for lightweight cables and cords, even securing a light-duty extension cord in place, but I wish they came larger to secure larger diameter cables.

A perfect use for leftovers is to secure charging cords in a handy place. I nailed one to the back of my nightstand and one to the underside of my desk, with an iPhone charging cord in it's grip. The charger cable is small enough that it slides down so the connector rests on the cable clip. So now when I need to plug my phone in I can reach to the handy location I know my charging cord will be, but when I am done the cord's weight retracts it back so there aren't cables showing on my desktop.

There's not a whole lot to say about these cable clips other than the basic facts: they're inexpensive, they do what they're supposed to do, and they fit most cables. You can even bend the cable holder portion a bit to accomodate a slightly larger cable. They're easy to install and remove.

For heavier/thicker cables, I use Duck HU-5 Double Sided Mounting Tabs, 60-Count. For everything else, these work great.'

Printer Cable

I needed a Male A-to-Male A USB cable for an external watercooling box I custom-built. It's an odd and difficult-to-find cable to be sure (most are the A to B variants), but I needed to connect up two female ports and this was the only way to do it. It was also black which fit with my color scheme. A little high in price relative to what they can be found for elsewhere online, but it was exactly what I wanted. Detected my device as a USB 2.0 - been working great for 4 months now. No problems. USB Type A Male / Type A Male Cable, 2.0 Version, Black, 6 ft

When I was attempting to connect a printer to a laptop, trying to find a male-to-male link was an exercise in frustration. Going from one store to another, talking to sales employees who's manner ranged from helpful to surly almost caused me to give up my quest.

When I decided to check the Amazon site, not only was I able to find my product but get it quickly.

The cables work well. The price was right. All is well with the world.

Grab it up now rather than wasting time going from store to store only to find you've used eight George Washington's in gas to find nothing. Easy purchase here. (Note: If you're copying data from one computer to another, this isn't the cable you want. That particular cable will be similar to this but will instead have a chunky blob in the middle of the cable. FYI.

It turns out that I ordered the wrong part...OOPS. As to the product. It appears to be well made and would work for the applications it is designed for. Since it is a low cost item, I decided to keep it...a need will show up for it, and I'll be ready!'

Coffee Roaster - roaster, popcorn maker

Awful, awful machine. First machine died and thought it might be that particular popper, but second popper was just as bad. Wastes popcorn kernals. More unpopped kernals than popped ones. Takes three batches to get medium sized bowl of popcorn. Dies within a couple of months. Horrible machine.

Yes, this is a terrible popper. One wonders why or how they managed to release a product without testing it. Far too many unpopped kernels... kernels take three runs through the popper to pop, as most are ejected when the corn starts to pop. An exercise in patience.

RARE SIDE VENTS POPPER! I've looked for a year for one of these. If you want to learn how to roast green coffee beans in an air popcorn popper, there are a number of websites that will explain it to you - including a good article using this very popper at coffee geek dot com. The Toastess air popper has side vents at the bottom of the funnel that blow hot air (as opposed to a bottom vent) and side vents are recommended for roasting coffee. Unfortunately for the popcorn poppers out there, I'm guessing the side vents reduce the amount of popcorn kernels that pop; however, it's perfect for coffee. BEWARE, however, if you roast coffee in this - it is dangerous (fire hazard) to roast coffee in a popcorn popper (you must stay with the popper at all times), you will void any warranty on the machine if you roast coffee, you will burn out the motor fairly quickly (or so warn the websites), and at about 3:30 to 4 minutes the plastic funnel covering the apparatus begins to warp and melt. So far I've roasted several batches (80 grams each) of green Sumatra Mandheling beans without problems (other than the melting lid), and it was delicious and fun to do.

If you've never roasted coffee before in an air popper, please don't start until you've reviewed competent directions at a coffee website. It's fun, but can be dangerous. Also, roast outside (I used our screen porch) to avoid the burning/roasting smell and chaf in the house. Lastly, I found this exact popper about four dllars cheaper at a brick and mortar overstock store.

I should have seen these reviews before purchasing the Toastess TCP-388 Hot-Air Popcorn Maker. Total waste of time and money. Machine going back to store tomorrow. It's way too loud, at least half the corn kernels are ejected without popping, therefore takes too much time for a single batch. Unsuitable.

This is a horrible machine, used it once and boxed it back up for return. It just kept swirling the kernals around and around till they started burning, then when some popped it blew all over the place even with the bowl held up to it! DO NOT BUY!

Never tried it for popcorn. Only used for roasting coffee. This unit has the preferred hot air vents. My previous popper was a Presto Poplite which blows the air from the bottom.

I've bought two Toastess so far. Destroyed the first one by trying to hot rod it. My fault entirely. Number Two works better, but I had to hot wire the thermal switch so it would get hot enough. Almost all poppers have two kinds of thermal safety devices: fuses and switches. Fuses prevent fires and once they blow, that's it. You're popper is a paperweight for all intents and purposes. Switches temporarily cut power to the heating elements when they're tripped. Unfortunately, manufacturing tolerances for switches aren't that tight, so you can have one unit roast coffee just fine and another will not get hot enough. The switch in this one is fairly easy to disable -- if you can get to it. They use funky screws with triangular heads to hold the thing together. So I made my own tool by grinding down a small triangular file until I could jam it into the head and loosen the screws.

Have roasted 6 batches in Number Two so far and will probably roast another six batches in the next day or two.

Only four stars because the clear plastic lid cannot take the heat. It can warp substantially. I wouldn't be surprised if the plastic lid will eventually be useless. Then I'll probably have to use a soup can chimney or something else.

Well, I do not know why all the other reviewers dislike this machine because I LOVE mine. I bought it at Tuesday Morning and it works way beyond my expectations. Been dieting and needed a good low calorie snack. This was a perfect solution. Pops most of the corn and it's fast. Maybe its the brand corn they are using. I'm using Pop Secret's Jumbo Popping Corn. The corn pops big and they taste great with a few sprays of Pam butter flavored! I purchased a square bowl to catch all the corn. I give this little machine 5 stars. LOVE IT!!

This Popcorn popper works good for roasting coffee but after sending the first one back after about 25 minutes use and now the second one is broken after approximately 1 hour of usage, I would steer clear of this popper. Both poppers basically exploded internally causing debris to get trapped in the fan. Completely dead! - Roaster - Popcorn Popper - Hot Air Popcorn Popper - Hot Air Popper - Popcorn - Popcorn Maker'

DO NOT BUY THE OTHER CHARGERS FOR B&D BATTS. There is a reason why this triple charger rocks and the others are garbage. This is a SLOW charger. makes batteries last forver. THis has a transformer in it that converts the electricty into a trickle charge. ALL portable batt's r super expensive, and they create ultra fast direct chargers for them which ruins the batteries within 18 mo. They know this. But to their credit, B&D made a trickle charger so u don't hv buy batt's every year. I hv had a set of 3 batt's that i hv bn using since - no joke, 2005, andf i'd say they r still about 65% effectiv. That's over 5 yrs peeps. Even the dual charger they sell is a rapid charger. Dno't be fooled becaue the dual charger looks like it has a transformer in it. It doesn't. And of course the tiny little single chargers don't either - u can tell when you pick them up, they weight about 20 grams. This triple charger weighs about 10 lbs! Black & Decker RE18V3PRT 18 Volt NiCad 3-Port Battery Charger

I love my 3 port charger. Because it is only a semi-intelligent charger, I do have need for a smarter/quicker charger too. (This is used to determine if the battery is faulty before placing it in the charger. A bad battery can kill your chargers) But, this charger allows you to keep 3 batteries charging at all times. Therefore, no need to remove them from the ports after they are charged. =)

This is a difficult part to find without the entire kit, therefore, I was extremely grateful to see this one for sale on Amazon.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone with the 18v Black & Decker lawn equipment.

hang'em on the wall and thats it. I have one in the garage and one in the shop. Power at your finger tips for all the drills, dustbuster, power hand saw and 5 3/8's circular saw in the shop ahd then in garage are all those tools to maintain the yard and pool. It doesn't get any better then this being fully supplied with the firestorm products by black and decker.

This is a well designed and well constructed product. I have three batteries and it is convenient to have all of them ready to use at any time without having three plug-in chargers in the wall. The unit mounts on the wall for even better convenience. Black and Decker home products have not been my favorite for many years. Many of their products have been poorly designed but not this one. I have been slowly buying the entire line of 18-volt FireStorm tools and have been very pleased thus far. - Rechargeable Batteries - Chainsaw - Cordless Lawn Tools - Black And Decker'

Garmin Nuvi 760 - nuvi 265wt, garmin 265wt

Spent a weekend reviewing various GPS devices to replace my less than 1 year old Mio C320 (avoid these like the plague) that had its battery die about 4 months after purchase. Went back and forth along the entire line of Garmin devices, and finally settled on this one for the blue tooth and traffic, neither of which I'll probably hardly ever use, but nice to have when I want them.

I was disappointed with the map, the "new" 2009 one, because I have some streets in my neighborhood that have been around for over four years and they're not to be found on this unit. Even the piece of junk cheap Mio had these streets.

But that's about the only downside there is to it, the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars.

Having been used to the MIO, and the horrible refresh rate, it is a pleasant change to see smooth scrolling as my vehicle moves. The ability to change the car icon is nice, especially with the plethora of icons available on the garmin website.

Accuracy is very good as well, and even in turns the unit isn't so laggy that it becomes annoying. And also unlike what I was used to with the MIO, when I come to a stop at the intersection, the map doesn't start rotating randomly on me.

Speaker is about as I expected, won't hear much over a loud stereo but crank it up enough you can at least hear it if you keep the music down a bit.

The option to easily download voices is also appreciated.

It did well with my testing of going point to point, following the instructions, and for the most part you're given the instructions in plenty of time. only once or twice did it not tell me "turn right on such and such" until I was about 20 feet from the street, but that was when I was coming up on stop signs and had slowed down, so it may be compensating for the speed factor.

Recalculation notice is a bit annoying, my MIO would say it once, sometimes this says it three times before it starts to display the alternate route.

Still has about 900MB free on the internal memory for additional voices, icons, maps, and such, and with the SD slot there's plenty of room to grow.

I have a Verizon XV6900 phone with Windows Mobile 6.1, and while the bluetooth paired well and it can see the phone status, battery power, signal, even dialed and missed call lists, it never does get the phonebook. it gets a random entry and that's it - so whenever I turn it on, I have just one user to select from, and it's different each time. Still haven't tracked that one down yet. But every other bluetooth option worked just fine.

I'm not a fan of the very thick double power cable for it though, and it would be doubly annoying (no pun intended) if I were mounting this somewhere higher up on the window to have that double cable dangling down.

I can see how the ads would get annoying sometimes (the free traffic is because it is advertising driven) but you don't get them at all if you turn off the traffic feature, and since most of my driving isn't around times that traffic is a concern, i can just leave it for when I really have a use for it.

Good response to finger input, and while the unit is overall much better quality than the MIO, I really do miss the MIO's ability to have an info pane down the last third of the screen and the map on the first two thirds of it when desired. But there's some of that info available in the data bubbles on the bottom and top so I'll survive.

Overall happy with the unit, it works well and was worth the cost. Garmin nüvi 265W/265WT 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Traffic

I have owned quite a few GPS units all including Phone, Laptop and Dedicated. Flat out before I even get started the Garmin Nuvi 265WT is the best I have ever owned. Let me just make a couple of comments on the most important features.

Touch Screen Interface

Very intuitive and easy to use. Touch screen is responsive but not instantaneous. What I particularly like is the ability to switch to a top down view by touching the screen. Once done you can use your finger to drag the map around at any zoom point. Once done you can hit the back button and resume your 3D view.

Turn by Turn

You have two options here. You can use one of the Text to Speech voices or one of natural voices. The text to speech voices will give you more information such as street names. This is what I use and even though you can tell it's a computer generated voice its quality is superb. The 265WT does a good job at keeping you updated. Also at any time you can hit the turn Icon and it will speak the distance to the next turn, giving you street name as well as direction. The audio is quite loud and in my noisy little Scion I have no problem hearing the messages.

Maps

I have found the map accuracy quite good. I live in Northern virginal and it seems to be very well updated as many of the very new streets included.

Automatic Routing

Very effective. You can choose between the quickest or the shortest with options to avoid U-Turns, Highways, Toll Roads, Traffic, Ferries. The automatic rerouting is faster than my TeleNav phone and my Laptop computers.

Points of Interest

On my TeleNav phone GPS system I can enter any business in the national database and I can get directions, address and phone number. This is where the 265WT falls short. The TeleNav system has the advantage of searching online. Since the 265WT is limited to onboard memory there is a limit to the number of points of interest. A good example is I was looking for "Off Broadway Shoes" and the unit could not find them. However a search for "Payless Shoes" worked very well.

Traffic Alerts

The lifetime free traffic comes at a price. You will get popup adds. These are very small popups that supposedly only come when you are in the menu. This is not true. I have gotten them while in the navigation screen. For now they it seems to be once per trip but there is nothing to say they wont start getting more frequent. The other thing I don't like about the messages is that you have to hit them to continue and doing so takes you out of the nav screen to a kind of favorites screen. You have to hit the back button to get back to your navigations screen.

How well does the traffic system work. I live in Northern VA and have coverage throughout my area. The included radio fails to pick up a single signal without using an external antenna. Sadly you can just go down and purchase an FM antenna.. The Power cable has a 3/32" jack. What I did was to pick up a 3/32" plug from Radio Shack and soldered a 4' wire to the tip pin on the connector. Once draped out one of the windows I get very frequent traffic updates.

Once you start getting traffic reports I found them to be accurate and they do help. You can automatically avoid high traffic arias or do it manually as they accrue.

I am still debating if the popup adds are worth the effort.

Bluetooth Integration

This is my favorite feature. I can keep my keyboard locked Motorola Q in my pants pocket and use my 265WT to make and receive all my calls at a touch of a button. All my phone features are available on the 265WT. Phonebook, Call history, Voice Recognition. The voice quality is quite acceptable on both ends. As a matter of fact the echo I get on my Motorola is not there when using the 265WT as a hands free set.

Picture Viewer

I found this to be a very useless feature. If the photos are very big it takes forever for the 265WT to load them. This may be due to the slow access to the SD card slot.

There are other features like the ability to connect the 265WT to your PC and automatically add favorite locations using GoogleMaps. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and would purchase it again.

FYI the Nuvi 265WT is the same unit as the Nuvi 255W without the Bluetooth ability and the FM reliever cable (GTM 25). You can even purchase the GTM 25 from Garmin. If you don't want the Bluetooth feature and don't currently need the traffic feature you can pick up the Nuvi 255W cheaper. - 265wt - Garmin 265wt - Nuvi 265wt - Gps'
