Lightweight - violin case
I've been playing violin for a long time, and have never given much thought to my case before buying this item. Now, I'm sorry that I didn't buy this years ago! The interior is plus and beautiful with several small storage places; I can fit my KUN shoulder rest, rosin, a pencil and extra eraser, extra strings, and my wipe-down rag with ease. The compartment on the outside is large enough to hold several thin books at the same time, so you don't have to worry about remembering your music when you go out; it's already in your case. This violin case is an excellent purchase for any violin player! Bellafina Maturo Violin Case 4/4 Size - Violin Case'

Replacement Batteries - framing nailer, cordless nailer
When it comes to being able to nail stuff on the spur of the moment without needing a lot of ancillary equipment, nothing beats a Paslode framing gun. That is, until you drop your battery from two stories up and destroy it!
My neighbor gave me one of his old batteries to finish that job, but it was on its last legs and finally expired so I went looking for a replacement and found this item here on Amazon. Good price, good reviews, and best of all, significantly cheaper than the Paslode replacement either online or locally.
I'll be buying another. Paslode 404717 Replacement Power Tool battery
This battery was a great value for the price.
It was about 1/3 the cost of the orignal.
The battery was as good,if not better
than the orignal.I am considering seriously
about ordering one or two more.
Thanks,Bobby. - Cordless Nailer - Framing Nailer - Replacement Battery - Battery'

Sealed Lead Acid Battery - battery backup, security system battery
Original review: I ordered two of these batteries from Amazon and received free shipping since I am an Amazon.com prime member. They arrived on time but the box they were in was damaged. Suspecting poor handling by the shipper, I opened the box to discover that it was the packaging not the shipping that caused the damage. There was no padding or protection of any type - no air bags, no peanuts, nothing - the pair of approx. 2 1/2" x 3" x 4" batteries were in a 4" x 8" x 10" box. The terminals were not covered and the two batteries could have come in contact with each other and shorted out. It's scary to imagine what that might have done. The terminals on one of the batteries are smashed flat against the top of the battery and will no doubt break off if I try to straighten them. After seeing the damage, I decided to return them to Amazon only to get this message:
"For safety reasons, items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases cannot be
returned to Amazon.com. Customers should dispose of hazardous materials according to Local, State and Federal regulations. Customers should contact their local government or local waste company for directions on how to dispose of Household Hazardous Waste."
So, beware, you may waste $35 like I have if your batteries arrive unusable. It came as a real surprise to me that a company can sell a product and not have any liability to replace it if it arrives defective - I've never experienced that with any other company. And, yes, I know these reviews are for the item not the seller. I believe a zero star is applicable for the item since it arrived defective and I am stuck with it whatever the reason.
Update: Careful work with screwdriver, pliers, and a soldering gun allowed me to put these batteries in the backup power supply for my garage opener. They work fine, so I am changing my rating to 4 stars since the batteries themselves seem to be good quality. I hope the distressed terminals do not break off.
Update 2/22/2011: Ordered another one of these for a security system. Amazon has fixed their packaging. This one arrived with the terminals well protected and the battery was in a box that fit it perfectly. This box was wrapped in plastic air bag padding and put in a larger shipping box. UPG UB1250 Sealed Lead Acid Batteries
Right now Radio Shack (the only place I can find them) is selling these batteries for 35 bucks. I got this at around half the price, and of course combined it with other stuff to get the free shipping deal.
The battery came packed in the brown box with an air bag. The battery had some cheap plastic thing over it, but that's it, no individual box or anything ("OEM" I guess). The terminals come with covers but they were loose in the box. The red terminal was bent a bit (easily fixed with pliers) and there is a strange rattle inside the battery, like something inside broke during shipping. These issues didn't inspire confidence.
Having said all that, once installed, the battery seems to be working fine. We'll see if it actually lasts 4-5 years.
I ordered two 12 volt batteries listed as suitable replacements for my Belkin UPS. Upon receipt, I discovered the power terminals on the batteries are too narrow to allow the cable connectors coming out of the UPS to properly tightly grip onto the battery power tabs. Every attempt to attach the UPS cables(power and short jumper cable)and then carefully slide the battery/cable assembly back into the UPS housing resulted in loose or open connections. All because the replacement batteries have a narrow (.187") power tab width instead of the original wider (.250") tab width needed for a tight grip on each of the 4 terminal posts. I finally realized the futility of this situation and attempted to return them to Amazon only to find my return window had expired 1 day earlier. So, if you are expecting exact battery replacements for your application you may be surprised to find you can't actually use or return them!
It was shipped VERY fast - twice as fast as designated. It had protective caps, arrived already charged, and was a perfect fit into my UPS. I've had the unit installed for a couple of months now. After a week or so, it seemed to peak charge itself and held a longer charge.
I have had two street power outages since installing the unit, one for a few seconds and one for 2 or 3 minutes, and it handled both of them just fine.
Just a note - I recycled my old unit locally. It's nice to avoid landfills with these things.
I bought this here at Amazon to replace the same exact backup battery for my ADT home security alarm. It works like a charm with no problem. It's been running for a month now and I don't expect to replace it for another 3-5 years.
We purchased this battery and installed on 4/1/10. At that time it measured over 12 volts and thought it solved our problem. Not even 4 months later we began having alarm beeps. When the battery was measured, it read 10.77 volts, which was not sufficient to power a 12 volt requirement. I contacted the seller and they refused to consider any returns, saying it was only warranted for 30 days and I should contact the manufacturer. Well, I can tell you, anyone who has ever bought any battery would not find this acceptable. If your AA Duracell lasted this short of a time, you would take it back to the store. Their batteries are defective and they will not stand behind them. Do not buy from this seller. You are better off to spend the same amount or even twice as much and have a battery that is not a second and a company that accepts responsibility for their product.
I bought this to replace the original battery in my security system, which lasted for five years. This was exactly the same battery at half the cost the security company wanted to charge for a replacement. It worked perfectly once it was connected and has not provided any problems one month into installation. I will provide updates in terms of longevity. - 12 Volt Battery - Battery Backup - Sla - Security System Battery'

I bought one from lowes for 89.00,drill is balanced just as well as all of the bosch's and milwaukee's small drills.also has a belt clip and magnetic bit holder, 2 batteries, tool bag, fast charger and led lite on drill. power is about the same as my milwaukee 12v. chuck hold's bits very well. glad i bought it. warranty same as bosch!!!!!!!. I do home repair & remodeling. PORTER-CABLE PCL120DDC-2 12-Volt Max Compact Lithium-Ion 3/8-Inch Drill/Driver
Wow was I ever surprised! Well balanced, light weight and extremely powerful. The impact driver is very impressive. My first job was assembling a woodworkers workbench. That little driver had no problem at all driving 4 inch screws into birch. Amazing set and now one of my favorite shop tools! I highly recommend this tool for the professional as well as a do-it-yourselfer!
I wore out my Ryobi 4V driver during a deck rebuilding project this spring; bought a replacement, which lasted a week before dying under very light use. An 18V NiCad 3/8" drill from Harbor Freight was a great disappointment -- bigger, heavier, clumsier, and less powerful than the Porter-Cable. If only Amazon had offered this on sale when I started the deck project 3 months ago.
The Porter-Cable drill/driver should be labeled as a "kit" as it comes with a sturdy and capacious black nylon case, 2 batteries (shipped with nearly full charge), and a charger that can be mounted on a wall. Several reviews have mentioned the handy belt clip, but I will call your attention to a small detail: as delivered, the clip is on the left, so that it can be carried on the right, but it can be moved to the right for the convenience of us southpaws. As a left-hander, this is a small, but greatly appreciated design feature.
This is, by far, the nicest drill/driver I have seen in the 12-volt Max class.'

I was an iPhone user who decided to buy new SGS4G for some "freedom" and cheaper cell/data service. And another reason I bought this device is because it is very close to iphone. Here comes my review after a week of its ownership.
Pros
1. Cheaper and faster: Speed difference from iPhone is obvious with 4G and better processor. T-mobile provides with cheaper plans.
2. Smooth and beautiful Video: I rarely watch TV/movies on a smartphone. This device made me think again. Quality of the movie screen is amazing - smooth and clear. Watching experience is close to laptop. I will enjoy this on flight.
3. Camera: Without considering more resolution, this camera is better than the one in iPhone GS. It is much less sensible for small shaking.
4. Wireless tethering: I didn't really care for tethering with 3G because of its terrible speed. But this device's 4G now and supposed to be 21 Mbps. After rooting, I first installed wireless tethering. And it works like a charm. This portable wifi router does not really make 21 Mbps but 8 Mbps but it's still practical. Think about IPad or Kindle with this phone in my pocket. They are always connected without paying a buck for 3G plan/device.
5. Unlimited expandability: Since it's android OS, unlike iphone, the device is not much restricted to expand. You can virtually install whatever you want.
Cons
1. Lack of internal memory: 500MB internal memory is too small to store apps. So after getting this device, you'd better start moving apps into internal 16G SD card. As I will mention about this below, however, not all apps can be moved to SD.
2. Bloated apps: Unnecessary apps occupy in apps screen and some of them also automatically run. And most of these bloated apps can't be deleted nor moved to SD card. - Solution: Root and Titanium Backup. See the last part of this review.
3. No flash LED: I rarely use it for taking pictures so it does not matter much to me. But it's one component people may want to have at some point. Besides, you can use it for other purposes with apps. As other devices in this price range have the LED, I am not sure why Samsung is not getting it with this excellent device otherwise.
4. Bad battery: I guess this may be the reason SGS4G is so light but its battery life is not close to the one in iPhone 3GS. My daily use is not that heavy but I always get 20-30% battery power remaining at the end of a day. In my test, playing 2-3 hours of a movie will drain the battery out. UPDATE: I've looked ways to overcome this issue, and so far, the best one is buying extra OEM batteries and charger to keep replacing battery on the device. I first thought it's one of the stupidest ideas. But with charger taking care of the extra batteries (two extras in my case), you are free from worrying about battery life and your device doesn't have to be connected to USB cable. The OEM batteries are already cheap so don't think about buying cheaper batteries as I did. One of cheapest batteries I tried almost bricked my device.
Root: Root is like easy jailbreak for Android device but without any downside. Of course Rooted device can be bricked and void of warranty but in reality, most of times, CS will fix the bricked device under warranty. Google "Super One Click" for more details.
Titanium Backup: After root, get the Titanium backup app to delete all unnecessary apps. One thing to remember: don't delete telenav app because it will mess GPS up otherwise.
In summary, root is almost required for this smart phone - root will take less than 30 mins. Other than that, with its amazing speed and powerful customizing ability from Android OS, I still have to figure out what it can do. This device is truly a personal computer + more in my hand. I like it a lot more than iPhone. Samsung Galaxy S 4G Android Phone (T-Mobile)
I have had this phone going on a week now. The speed, battery life & screen have been fantastic.
The addition of the Swype keyboard was a savvy move on Samsung's part as well. Tracing and voice-dictation work very well.
The television package is a nice extra as well. Catch up on a basketball game while running an errand.
This phone is probably up there with the iPhone from what I gather. At this point I think consumers will have a bounty of riches as companies like Samsung and Apple keep redefining what a smartphone means.
I have been with Android since the Day 1 release of the G1. This is my 3rd Android phone and I was upgrading from a Nexus 1. Let's start off with the good. I bought this phone on its release date largely because I wanted a bigger screen, better batter life and a phone that I would actually hold a signal so I could talk on it (antenna was in the bottom of the Nexus 1 and it was pretty bad on reception).
I picked up this phone and the first thing you will notice is that it is very light almost too light. The back cover is made of plastic and it feels somewhat cheap in your hand. The screen is made of Gorilla Glass which is a good thing. It lacks stereo speakers opting for a loud but monaural speaker in the back of the phone with a unattractive two slit hole for sound in the back of the phone. In a loud environment this often requires holding the phone cupped in your hand to reflect the sound back out to you.
The screen on this phone is absolutely beautiful. It is a SuperAMOLE 480x800 screen. The colors are rich & vibrant and HD movies or video looks incredible. It really is like watching a pocket version of my 50 inch 1080p HD television. The screen technology also uses less battery so it doesn't have the incredible drain you might expect even in 4 inches of real estate.
The camera is where one of the first major flaws of this phone surface. It is a 5 megapixel camera with NO FLASH. That is completely unacceptable on a phone that is a flagship device (albeit only for a few months) on T-Mobile. The camera does have good low light performance but it will not work if you are on the phone. There also is no way to turn off the GPS if you don't want that information embedded in the metadata of the phone. The interface of the phone is awkward & far too time consuming. It takes average photos & videos and has no dedicated camera/video button. I have been so frustrated at times with this camera I have wished I brought a standalone device.
Onto the operation of the phone. The phone operates on a Hummingbird processor and its operation most of the time is very smooth. I added the juice defender app which turns off certain functions when the phone is not being used and it extends battery life. With Juice Defender I have seen as much as 16 hours on a full charge. Without Juice Defender on a solid 6-9 hours can be expected depending on the user.
On to the MOST annoying issue with this phone. It has 1GB of ROM on the phone which means that the Android OS and all of the bloatware pre-installed by Samsung are on the internal memory. By the time they are done with what they feel its important for you to have (apps like QIK for video chat, LAYAR, T-mobile TV, Media Hub, Wifi Calling, etc) you are left with about 250mb of space for the apps YOU want. I don't want to root the phone because that is the solution to getting rid of the issues with this phone. I shouldn't have to root the phone to buy an app. I don't have the Amazon App Store on this phone right now not because I don't want it because it won't fit. A 1.25mb application will not fit on my phone! I have 13 apps installed to the memory of the phone that I need (app's like Flash, Facebook, Google Maps,Gmail, Doubletwist, Sirus/XM & Juice Defender). All of the apps I can put on the SD card have been moved over (all 42 of them). How do you expect me to purchase apps if I have no space.
The lack of internal memory and horrible camera operation are the reasons that after a few short months of ownership of this phone I'm selling it and buying the just released LG 2GX on T-mobile. I really don't want to have to buy another phone this soon but the internal memory issues and the camera are just too much of an annoyance. I wouldn't really recommend this phone now as there are much better devices out there now. Its a shame that Samsung & T-mobile didn't make the minor tweaks to this device (more internal memory, flash & better camera features) that would have really made it a great device. - Tmobile - Galaxy - Android - 4g'

Cheap price, fits a little snug into screwdriver and needs a little persuasion to seat into the battery charger but it works and it's a decent price. Hopefully the quality and longevity is decent too. Little suspicious being a non-name brand, made in China product but it's getting extremely difficult to find the actual Versa pak batteries at reasonable prices.
