Law Enforcement - earphones, gmrs

I have tried other kinds of these things and there was always 2 problems. 1 they hurt after a long shift. 2 they made it hard to hear it was as if you had an ear plug in one ear. These worked MUCH better both ways. Because of the acoustic tube you can still hear with the ear that has the piece in it. I found out right away that even after a 12 hour shift my ear was not sore from wearing this. If you want to use a two way with an ear piece this is the only way to go. Midland AVPH3 Transparent Security Headsets with PTT/VOX (Pair)

I decided to purchase the transparent headsets because I didn't want to look too obvious that I was wearing a headset. The headset itself looks cheap and flimsy, but it has proven to be sturdy and put together well. Best of all, the sound quality is excellent as long as you give your mouth about an inch or so of distance from the mike. My only complaint is that the earpiece seems to be designed to fit in the right ear; if you put the earpiece in the left it has a tendancy to slip and rotate out of the ear every once in a while. Altogether an excellent value.

I bought these along with Midland radios to use in the 2 bars that I run so all of my bartenders, door guys and bouncers are always in contact with each other. It gets really loud on weekends when the bars are packed and all of my staff can always hear each other perfectly. We have tried dozens of different radios/headsets in the past, and we could never find headsets that allowed us to hear each other.

Great product, I would recommend to anyone looking for good quality headsets to use with their 2 way radios.

The design of these headsets intends for the user to place the mic/ push-to-talk button down a sleeve and attach the clip for the acoustic earpiece directly behind the neck in order to conceal the hollow coil from front and side view as much as possible.

In order to accomplish this, the wire from the acoustic earpiece has to be long enough to reach from center-neck to about four inches beyond the wrist. In this way, the user activates the PTT button using thumb and forefinger and speaks into the cupped palm.

Here is the near miss aspect of these units: The length of the wire from the earpiece to the PTT switch/mic is 24 inches. Twenty-four inches is almost laughably short for those who have arms longer than twenty inches. I don't know anyone, outside of children, who might have arms that short.

After plugging these in and running the wires, it immediately became a matter of finding some appropriate microphone wire to use to splice in a 15" section of wire to make these actually function as intended.

Once that was done, the units were ready for use. Well, almost. The next thing that had to be done was to replace the little slippery plastic clothing clips with steel security-badge clips so the pieces would stay in place during actual use.

Now we were ready. We found that the earpieces actually sounded better than the radio's speakers and the push-to-talk buttons were crisp and positive. The mic's have no wind shielding so users need to be advised that they need to speak across the mic instead of directly into them, and keep them a couple inches away from their mouths. Operated that way we obtained very good results.

Too bad, for the want of a couple of dollars' worth of more wire and pro clips, these would be outstanding accessories. As they are now, they are somewhat of a starter kit waiting for final assembly.

As a wedding consultant/coordinator, I knew I needed to be able to communicate with my staff to make the event run smoother and in case of emergencies no matter where we were doing the ceremony/reception. After looking at many similar products I decided to take a chance on Midland and the surveillance earplugs. I must say they are great! My friend has a similar product, but hers do not measure to the radius and clarity of mines nor do her earplugs measure. Great investment!

I purchased two sets of these for a very large event. We were not part of security but part of the music program. Four of us had to seat over 400 people in a choir and orchestra in a venue we had never rented before. The headsets were invaluable! There is no way we could have communicated with out them! Over the two day period the ear pieces were comfortable and the microphones picked up every word accurately. Look forward to the next event to use them again.

My family of 4 bought this for skiing so we can keep track of the kids. Wears very comfortably under helmets and my 180's. The alligator clip is very close to where the button is to speak into the mic and I can't tell you how many times it came unclipped when trying to talk and then you have to fumble around to get it clipped back on. When speaking, it's very clear. We put our mics on the edge of our jackets and lined the wire underneath our jackets so it doesn't get tangled, that worked out great. Overall, it's a great product. My husband is going to have to jerry rig the alligator clip somehow though.

Comfy to wear. The mic is weakest part of the is setup, frustratingly so. It's my first ear and mic set up like this so I can't offer a comparison. It blows away the boom set up included with radios, but I would look around for something with great reviews, I had limited time and it did the job.

No problems - it works as expected. Ear buds fit inside the ear canal and allows me to hear perfectly fine. Only gripe is that there isn't a volume control on the headset, as sometimes I think it's too loud even after I've lowered the volume setting on my radio.

These versatile ear-pieces have been great for listening to mono, non-music podcasts. The unit as a cool secret service look, but is still less obvious than most cell and stereo headphone gear. I wear it for exersize, driving, just about anywhere I want to enjoy confortable non-stereo sound.

I say non-stereo, but the sound quality is excellent, providing lots of good quality signal. - 2 Way Radios - Earphones - Gmrs - Law Enforcement'

Rod And Reel Combo - spinning combos, combo

I am lucky to live in hawaii where the fishing is awesome. I decided to start kayak fishing about a year and a half ago to get to the bigger fish. Well the fish are a lot bigger than I thought they would be so I upgraded from my trusty 8" Ugly Stik to this Ugly Stik Tiger. I am very glad I did. This weekend I put it to the test when I hooked into a 20.5 lb Ulua (giant trevally)! The action of the pole was perfect. I matched it to a Penn 850 ssm with 30lbs test and it is the perfect combo for inshore trolling. I highly recommend this for any angler who needs the sensitivity and strength to land the big ones. I will never fish with anything else. Shakespeare Two-Piece Medium Action Ugly Stik Spinning Rod (6-Feet)

I have several of these rods in various lengths and strengths. From the little 4'6" ultra lite that I keep in the truck to the 9' medium action for river fishing, they all perform incredibly. Plenty of backbone to set the hook and fight big fish and all with a sensitive tip for the most picky bites. For the price, you can get more rods instead of having one "do-it-all". Mine are paired up with Pfleugger president reels (sizes match the rods). My oldest one is 8-9 years and the newest one was this spring; 5 in all. I even give these as gifts to friends and my son has taught his friends to fish and they bought Ugly stix. You really can't go wrong. My truck rod even had a duffel bag of DeWalt screwguns sit on it for almost a week with no affects to it at all. When I first saw it bent over I thought it was a goner. My oldest and favorite rod.

What a great rod. An all-around great value. It's practically unbreakable, plus the 7 foot length allows me to cast farther with lighter baits. I had an 80 lb. sturgeon on my other rod and had no problems other than my reel fell apart before I could get it in the boat. I highly recommend these rods!

The rod was portable, and had good action. I expected it to last for years. After three months, I noticed a crack on the tip top ring, then the round bearing ring separated from the metal ring. Perhaps it was because something heavy landed on it, or I might have collided it with something, or it was a defective rod. I went to the local fishing tackle store and put a new tip top on, and it has been working like a charm.

I mistakenly left my fishing rod and reel at a campsite in Colorado. Since I live more than 1,000 miles away I asked the campground keepers to donate the equipment to a local youth group, and I proceeded to look for another rod and reel.

This time I came up with the Shakespeare UGLY STICK, 7' medium. I paired it with a Pflueger President XT Spinning Reel and found them to be a great match.

I am no "expert" so I really cannot comment much on the differences (if there are any) in the "pro" rods as compared to the "economy" sticks. I easily rate this rod 5 stars because it does all I expect from it, and then breaks down into two pieces for transportation and storage. I couldn't be happier, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg, either.

BECAUSE I DID LIKE THE ROD I GOT IN THE MAIL I GIVE IT HIGH STAR RATINGS..BUT BEWARE...THE ROD IN THE PIC IS NOT WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

IT IS INDEED AN UGLY STICK THE DIFFERENCE IS THE HANDLES ARE NOT AS DEPICTED........AND THE HANDLE IS WHAT CAUGHT MY ATTENTION WITH THIS UGLY STICK.....SO BEWARE THE ROD ON THE PIC IS NOT WHAT YOU WILL GET.....ALL SPECS MATCH BUT THE HANDLE IS THE DIFFERENCE WHICH SORTA KINDA BOTHERED ME BUT I STILL LIKE WHAT I GOT..... - Spinning Combos - Trout Rod - Combo - Abf-90'

Yoga Bag - gaiam, bag

This bag is well made and has a cute design, but I have the standard purple Gaiam yoga mat and the bag is not long enough to close over the mat so the end sticks out. And since the bag is made out of 100% cotton, I'm nervous if the mat will fit at all after the first wash. It's still better than carrying my mat uncovered, but you'd think they'd have considered adding an extra inch or two of fabric so it would fit most mats. I'm a little disappointed. Gaiam Embroidered Yoga Mat Bag (Dragon Fly)

I was a little worried when I read the reviews for various Gaiam mat bags. It seems that a lot of people have trouble fitting their mats into the bag.

I really liked the look of this bag, so I went ahead and got it. My Wai Lana yoga mat fits perfectly!

I will say this, the bag is more of a natural color than white, but I've gotten a lot of compliments on it at the yoga studio where I practice. The pocket is also pretty big. It will hold your keys and ipod/cell phone with no problem.

All in all, I've been very satisfied with this purchase.

This bag is very pretty and the coordinating mat is a lovely match. I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't quite fit the yoga mat. It may stretch over time, but it was a bit of a pain to get the bag closed over it.

That being said, it is easy to carry, holds the mat, and looks quite lovely while doing so.

If you own yoga bricks or other accessories, this bag will not fit them. It will fit a small wallet or cell phone in the front pocket, so this bag is ideal if you travel light!

I just received this bag, so haven't seen it in action yet. The pink embroidery detail is much brighter pink than it appears to be in the image. It fits my standard sticky mat well with a bit of room to spare. A word of caution...I have read that it will shrink in the wash and that the mat will stick out of the top. I like the fabric and the pocket for keys, essentials. I also like the adjustable strap and the way it hangs close to the body when carrying.

I like my bag which is why I put 3 stars - but the negative reviews are unfortunately true. The bag isn't as creamy as it shows but is tinged a greenish hue, it is too small to close over a yoga mat so I wouldn't wash it in hot water or stick it in the dryer. I actually bought a mat based on one of the reviewers recommendations which I thought would fit but turns out the bag is still too snug to close completely over the mat leaving about 3" inches in diameter open. It's really designed for a slim smaller mat so a 1/4 " mat wouldn't fit it.

Other than that, if you can stand a snug bag that is a bit off color it's good. The design is attractive, pink embroidery is cute, the cotton fabric is soft and sturdy, and the little zipper pouch comes handy.

I bought this bag to hold the Gaiam printed yoga mat, in matching Dragon Fly. The bag is so pretty and my mat fits inside perfectly. The bag is made out of a soft canvas/cotton material and is a natural color with pretty pink embroidery. It's a lovely bag, very happy I purchased it.

I got this yoga bag for my wife. It is very high quality and very nice looking. The only complaint I have is that it seems a little short such that the mat sticks out a little from the end (standard size yoga mat). Other than that, a great yoga mat bag. - Bag - Yoga Accessories - Yoga Bag - Gaiam'

Sdhc Memory Card - blueproton, memory card

First of all, this is an SDHC card, not a regular SD card. The only major difference between the two (as far as I can see) is that the SDHC cards hold more data and write faster.

This is used in conjunction with the Kodak Playsport (Zx3) HD Waterproof camera.

This card appears to be sturdy, works well, uploads pics/movies to computer quickly, and so far (in about a months time) there has been no data corruption. What more could you ask for?

5 outa 5. SanDisk 16 GB Class 2 SDHC Flash Memory Card SDSDB-016G-A11

This memory card was a good value and it works fine in my Aluratek HD video camera and data transfers fine into my Mac computer. Will probably buy several more over time to provide more capacity for my camera.

This was a great purchase from Amazon. Last October I went on a cruise to the Caribbean my memory wasnt big enough for all the video I wanted to take. Since Ill be taking a cruise to Alaska soon, I needed more memory, Sandisk 16GB class 2 was a great choice and getting from Amazon made this purchase worth while. Lots of storage, speedy, its just what I needed. Ill probably purchase another. Thanks Amazon for the great purchase.

Not too much to say about this. SanDisk has always been a reliable name for me and comntinues to be with the purchase of this product. It works as it should in my pocket camcorder and gives me plenty of room to record both photos and videos.

I got this item be on time before going to joy Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. It's simply perfect shot for my camera, no need to complicated set up , you can use it automatically at the first time, bulk of memory and card didn't lock for some reason, that why i chose SanDisk 16 GB. I recommend for all kinds of digital camera.

The card itself deserves 5 stars. It is long-lasting and never gives me trouble. I always buy the SanDisk brand because of its price, consistent performance, and ability to work with my Nikon d3000. The price here is a good deal- $20/ card (for some reason if you choose "frustration free packaging, the price soars to $34/ card). But for 2 cards, I'm paying $11.90 shipping, so I knocked a star off the seller's rating. 4 stars for the good original price. - Memory Card - Blueproton - Sd Card - Sdhc'

Toothbrush Holders - toothbrush, holder

I don't know why I had such a difficult time finding something like this. We have very minimal counter space in the bathroom and wanted a way to hang them inside the medicine cabinet. This product works fine. Do follow their advice and scotch tape the holder into place first to see how your brushes hang. When I first put it up I did this, but the toothbrushes were dry. After I used their tape backing and put it up "for real", we found that my husband's toothbrush slid out of place when it was wet and hung lower than I expected. So then the mirror wouldn't shut, so I had to pull the backing off (which wasn't hard, but left a little mark). I reattached it using the backings from those plastic wall hooks, which works fine and can be easily removed in the future if I need to. Now everything is good - we have two toothbrushes, my husband's razor, and some of my necklaces hanging from it. Somebody else mentioned that if the toothbrushes are turned toward each other, their bristles will touch. It's true, but definitely not a deal breaker for us. Hang Away Universal Toothbrush Holder (GLOWS IN THE DARK!) 3M Tape Backing 100% USA. Also comes in (WHITE).. To see more product pictures click here...

I bought this for a friend who owns a daycare and brushes all of the kids' teeth daily. She had difficulty storing the brushes, so that they wouldn't touch one another and was routinely sanitizing them to avoid spreading germs. She was so excited to receive these and has been using them for almost a year now. The kids can quickly point to their brush and now she doesn't have to replace/sanitize the brushes after one child has a cold. One downside to these is that the adhesive doesn't stick very well and the holder is sometimes pulled from the wall.

I put this on the wall where the kids could get their own tooth brush. Before it was on the sink counter and they could not reach! Now they get it all by themselves, and they can put it away too! So easy to use my two year old has no problem getting his own toothbrush out!!!

This little gadget is so much better than those fancy ceramic toothbrush cups.

The brushes air dry and do not touch each other. It seems much more sanitary than the cups where all the brushes are dripping into each other. No more slimy buildup in the bottom of a cup. A little wipe of the sink for any small drip that might happen. It is small, strong and stays put.

This a simple, but effective product for hanging toothbrushes out of the way inside the medicine cabinet (or anywhere you like). The brushes pop in and out with ease. Another reviewer said the toothbrushes touch each other, but I don't have that problem with our toothbrushes. It was just what I was looking for.

I've been looking for an attractive wall-hanging toothbrush holder. With the low price tag and great reviews, I bought two.

5 stars--holds toothbrushes well

5 stars--sticks to wall well.

5 stars--Versatility--creative uses like keeping PENS or paintbrushes out of the way. Snipping it

apart to hold just a couple of items instead of 4, or putting two next to each other and

holding a lot of items.

3 stars--not so attractive. Not ugly per se... but utilitarian looking. I realize it's designed to

fit IN a medicine cabinet, but we do not have that.

3 stars--and this is my least favorite feature...that they are not spaced enough apart. If you

stick your toothbrush to the right a little, and your hubby's is all the way to the left. Then

your bristles will touch. And with toothbrushes being the most germ-magnetic item in the house,

I want them not to touch.

All this said, I still think it's a very good and inexpensive solution to keeping those toothbrushes up and out of the way.

This product is pure simplicity at its best, and toothbrush holders should have been designed like this a long time ago! Easy to install and no maintenance required, versatile, and easy to use. Toothbrush just snaps into place and sits there until needed, when it pulls easily back out. This is much better than fumbling with brush cases or fixed holes on cup holders. The clips are flexible and durable and automatically clip on and off the toothbrush. Though it is not designed to suspend the weight of a battery powered brush, it does suspend standard toothbrushes very well. It could also be used to secure razors in the shower and such. And with it being made in the USA, the purchase supports our fellow citizens. At such an affordable price, you can't go wrong! Every bathroom should have one or two of these! Everyone with teeth to brush could use one of these! Buy one for everyone you know because it is a unique, inexpensive, practical gift they will appreciate for a long time to come!

That something so seemingly simple could make my sweetheart so happy. He loves this thing. It works as described - keeps his toothbrush and razor in the shower right where he needs them. I recommend it to anyone. - Holder - Toothbrush - Rack - Toothbrush Holder'

Power Point - microsoft, 2010

The Disc version costs $120 currently, and product key version $106.

The Disc version can be installed on three PC's instead of just one for the product key version.

The Disc version provides for easier emergency recovery/reinstall (no downloads) compared to the product key version. Microsoft Office Home & Student 2010 Product Key Card

**On A Clean PC** = This key works flawlessly when used to activate Office Home/Student that has been downloaded from the website ([...]) provided in the editorial review. It is written that the website can be accessed for a limitied time and I have no idea how long that is. It still exists as of this writing. To reiterate, using the online download version together with the product key offered here results in a trouble free install - On a Clean PC, (no prior install of Office). An install disk can be purchased from MS for about $15 after tax (free s/h), at the time you do the download, if you want one. I did not pre-install Office in leu of receiving the product key...I waited until it came in the mail (two days Amazon Prime), and activated it immediately after download.

(Installed on old (2005 or 2006 I think) Sony laptop VGN-SZ270P/C with 2gb ram running Vista from a clean install)

Well I bought this for my daughter in college, and nowhere in the ad did it say is was for computers that were preloaded with office 2010.

I had downloaded a trial of office 2010 from micorosft and they said all I needed was a key, so I purchased this key on Amazon and it really looked like the right key.

Did not realize until product was received and read the small print on the box.

Well in a nutshell the key would not work on that software.

After downloading new software which took about 5 hours from my daughters college dorm I was able to use this key.

Good luck to anyone that buys Microsoft Products.

Around 5 minutes after I typed in the product key it gave me an error message. Needed to fix errors produced by an older version, even though this was a new Acer PC. I clicked on OK and it took 40 minutes or so to finish installation. Then I got an error message saying the installation had failed.

At this point, here is what you do. Open the "Microsoft Office" program again from the start menu. It will give you the option to repair the installation. Click on that. In 40 minutes or so and after a reboot, you will have Office installed on your PC.

Why do they make us go through this?

I just recently installed this software on our new i5 PC and I think it is so cool. The GUI is so sleek and clean looking in fact much better layout and build than MS Office 2007. It is also a lot easier to use. I would recommend this product.

If you do not need to put MS Office on multiple computers, this is all you need. My laptop for work came with MS Office Starter, which had limited abilities and options and finally didn't work for me the way I needed it to. In the end I had to purchase the full version and this was the least expensive way to do so. It did the job and was very simple to do.

The install was difficult. I had the 2007 trial on my computer and once the program got to the end step it would stop. I called Microsoft and was told by the first person they could not help me. The second time I called I got help. It took them at least an hour to get it on my computer because they had to use some of their programs to remove 2007 and I could not have done that with the add/remove on the computer. Once they had finished with the set up process and everything was installed it runs great. I love it compared to 2007. Very easy to use.

My only difficulty with this product was the lack of instructions to uninstall the trial version that came preloaded on my laptop. Any previous versions of the product must be uninstalled. Until I did that, my Office 2010 would not install. Microsoft help line finally solved the problem.

This item was offered as a deal from Amazon after purchasing a pc. Now, I like OFFICE programs a lot, but I failed to review the contents and restrictions, which are: there are only 4 programs and user's can only install it on machines with Office 2010 PRE-INSTALLED. I do have a new machine that fits the bill, BUT... how many more machines will I buy before Office 2010 is replaced by Office 2012 (just supposing one arrives then)and how many will have Office 2010 pre-installed? I'd say ZERO! So, I'll get a single use out of a 3-use Key Card. Darn it! You see, I assumed -from years of experience with WINDOWS, that Outlook and Publisher were always an integral part of OFFICE. Wrong! Microsoft has trimmed it for the student budget; yet what does the productive student in need of those project-oriented programs do? I guess this package is for the "less productive" among us.With that said, I suppose I can live without OUTLOOK and PUBLISHER on this machine, two programs I normally use a lot. Luckily I have two other business machines that have fully loaded OFFICE 2007. I did run the four programs and they work and look fine, even a bit cooler than previous version, as far as new features. If you did expect OUTLOOK and PUBLISHER --like I did, now you won't be disappointed. If you don't use those programs you may be happy with just WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL and ONE NOTE. In searching for an email client I discovered Ultrafunk Popcorn! Look it up. - Word - Microsoft - 2010 - Office'
