Mizuno

Since I was stumped by the lack of a size chart, and others said the same in comments, I figured I'd post the size chart for Mizuno youth baseball pants I found on other sites:

YOUTH INDIVIDUAL'S MEASUREMENTS

SIZE____WAIST____INSEAM

S______22-24"____29"

M_____24-26"____30"

L______26-28"____31"

XL_____28-30"____32"

2XL____30-32"____33"

3XL____32-34"____34"

I can't vouch for the accuracy, but figured it's better than a wild guess at which size to buy. Mizuno Youth Premier Piped Pant (White/Black, Large)

We bought these for our 5 year old for his 1st year in a t-ball league. We had gone to some of the local sporting good stores and found that all the less expensive pants were just really thin. So thin that I had doubts they would last a whole season. I don't have this fear with these pants. They are nice and thick with a little bit of added cushion. Which I'm sure will come in handy when he tries to slide into home....as all 5 year olds will do. Sure, they cost more, but I was willing to shell out the extra bucks.

For my 5 year old, 43" tall, 50lb boy I went with a small. They were a little long in the leg, but fit really well overall. Happy I went with these, and not the cheaper alternative.

The pants came in a very timely manner. They were the nicest pair of baseball pants my son has ever owned! They wash tremendously well even though they are white. The padding is comfortable and helpful! I had to find a sizing chart to help me choose intelligently though.

I was very concerned about the sizing for these pants (youth XL 28"-30"), but they fit my son very well. He is 8 yrs. old, a bit over 4' tall and "husky"-big build for his age. He wears 10 husky pants and sometimes 12, but the 12's are too long. These Mizuno baseball pants fit well and will also fit him next year as they are elastic and on the looser side now. The length is a non-issue as he can wear them down with a couple of folds--or folded under for a pant-leg look as he likes them. He can do without a belt, but a belt secures them.

I purchased a Medium - wanted to post the measurements for others that may be shopping. 23 inches waist, 24 inches inseam. It is nice and thick and has padding for the behind. Will comment on durability after a few games.

I wasn't sure what size to order but thanks to a reviewer posting Mizuno's size chart in their review I received exactly what we needed. Great that they have youth sizes so large; I ordered the XXX-Large as my 11 year old son wears a 14 husky and they fit great! Great product, great delivery!

i love mizuno pants!! i agree with all the other comments about how they wash and hold up but also love that they offer some bigger waist sizes (without adding 6 inches to the length) and the extra padding so they don't have to wear slider shorts. one of my boys hates to wear anything fitted, let alone snug so these are perfect for him. thanks mizuno!!

This is the Cadillac of baseball pants for boys. I have two boys and when they were both in Little League, I didn't want to pay the additional cost of Mizunos. Now that I have a 13-year-old and he's committed to baseball I am splurging for these, because the quality and the extra padding is truly the best. I have never seen them as inexpensive as the price Amazon offers, and believe me, I've shopped around. I saved $13 off the sporting good stores price, and at least $5 off of the price at any other website...plus free shipping! I'm not saying much about the pants themselves, but just know that these are top quality and should last through more than a season because of their durability.

I bought these pants for my son to use for this baseball season, and couldn't be more pleased. The fit is wonderful, they are a high quality baseball pant and stains come out easily. The price was comparable to other online stores who sell these pants, and I knew Amazon.com would be a guarantee of great service....from ordering to receiving the item. Now that I know I can get this type of item here at Amazon.com....I will not shop anywhere else. You will NOT be disappointed.'

Home Theater Systems - surround sound, sound bar

I purchased the Vizio VHT510 from Costco about 2 weeks ago. I set it up right away, however I haven't mounted the rear surrounds yet. It works great and the sound quality is better than you could reasonably expect for a sound system at this price point. It is great not to have to run wires and still get 5.1 surround. It looks neat and clean and not at all cheap or shoddy like one might expect with a sound system just barely over $300.00.

I have just a couple of concerns. As per the previous review, there is only a single optical input. I currently have it connected to my 50 inch Samsung plasma; it would be really nice to have a couple more optical inputs even if the price went up a notch. My more serious concern is with the LED lights on the sound bar; they are supposed to light up when changing the volume up or down indicating the sound level. Unfortunately it doesn't work at least half the time. The volume still changes, but it is concerning when something is not working as it is supposed to on a brand new electronic device. I have seen other complaints about this very same issue on message boards such as AVS forum. My heart dropped when my brand new sound system started doing that very same thing a few days ago. Some have returned/replaced the sound bar only to have this feature be as unreliable with the second unit. I can't deal with reboxing and returning it so I just hope that it continues to work as it has and that this issue does not turn into something else that effects the actual function of the sound system. It would be great if Vizio could address this problem since it is not an isolated incidence.

Addendum:

I finally returned the Vizio 510 to Costco today. The LED volume indicator completely stopped working. The volume still changes as it should and the system still sounds great, but I am not comfortable keeping a device that doesn't work correctly from the very beginning. While waiting in line at Costco returns, someone came up to me and asked if I had a problem with the LED indicators. He said he had the same problem and returned it as well. This seems to be a real issue with this product.

Addendum 1/8/2011:

I am giving the Vizio 510 one more chance. The sound quality was just so good that I am going to risk it. I am trying to convince myself that LED volume indicators are not that important if it works well otherwise. If everything else is good, I will ignore that part if, or should I just say, "when" it happens. If there are any other issues, at least Amazon has an easy return policy. It is a super good sounding system for <$300 and with free shipping and no tax! I feel a little guilty for giving Vizio the business when they have been less than honest with the issue with this product and the fact that they did not post my "mostly good" review on the Vizio website. I think their review section is limited to only 100% positive with nothing critical at all. Not good business Vizio and not very honest!!

Addendum 4/11/2011:

I am adding this "reply" to a question about this product/my review as an addendum as well as I think the information may be helpful to others.

It has NO HDMI inputs (although a newer model, Vizio VHT520, coming out ~this summer will), a single optical (Toslink) input and a single analog (red/white RCA) input. Connectivity is a weakness in this model however it is possible to make everything work with the single optical-in. I have a Nyrius SW200 S-Video Composite & Digital Optical Toslink 3 Input Audio Video Selector Switch with Remote Compatible with DVD player, Satellite, Cable, PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS, XBOX360, PS3, Wii, iPod (long name on amazon; I use only as an optical switcher) which automatically switches between my TiVo TCD746320 Premiere DVR (Black), OPPO BDP-93 Universal Network 3D Blu-ray Disc Player and TToshiba DKVR60 - DVD recorder/ VCR combo. Everything is set up using my Logitech Harmony One Universal Remote with Color Touchscreen. I hit a single function such as "watch TV" and everything, including the optical switcher, goes to the correct setting. All video is connected directly to my Samsung PN50B650 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV (50 inch plasma) from each source via HDMI.

It is worth noting that my Vizio VHT510 is still working flawlessly. The one I ordered from amazon on January 8th is working well in all respects including the famously unreliable volume indicator lights. The first one I purchased (~November) did have the indicator light problem and was returned. It seems to be a matter of luck when you get this model. I have to say, however, that it is an amazing sound system for <$300.00. It is SO MUCH better than the native speakers on the HDTV that absolutely anyone can tell the difference. I have been very happy overall with this purchase. VIZIO VHT510 5.1 Surround Sound Home Theater with Wireless Subwoofer (Black)

So I purchased 3 Vizio VHT510's from my local Costco,,, had to return ALL of them because the LED's lights quit working.

Reviews on AVS, SamsClub, Costco and here at Amazon all complain about the LED's not working,, this is a widespread problem that is affecting both the VHT210 and VHT510 Vizio soundbars, and its not just a few of them,,, it seems to be all of them.

Even when I returned all my VHT510's at Costco the manager told me they have been getting these returned in great numbers because of the lights going out.

I wanted to buy another one as I really do like the VHT510, so I decided to call Vizio to ask them if they had fixed the probelm yet,,,, Vizio's response,,,, there is not a problem with the LED's and if there is it is only a few of their soundbars,,, after I told them of all the negitive reviews they still denied there was a problem.

I dont think I have ever laughed so hard,,,, WOW,, really Vizio,,,, no problems with the LED's going out,,,, ya know, if Vizio would have said yea, there is a problem and we are working on it I would have had total respect for Vizio,, but to totaly denie any problems what-so-ever,,, that just made me laugh,, and mad at the same time.

I guess Vizio does not know that this little thing called the "internet" exist, where people talk about things and read reviews.

Cheers

Smoke Detectors - smoke alarm, battery backup

I didn't know about replacing smoke alarms every decade until very recently. The units in my home were two decades old, hardwired AC with no battery backup. They tested fine but after twenty years it is certainly time to replace them by any standard. There are three in my home, one on each floor.

After doing a bit of research and being a smart consumer, I decided the PI2010 was the best choice out there. I purchased them up at a local big box home center because the price was highly competitive with Amazon and I didn't have to wait for shipping (even free super saver shipping).

In the box was a mounting bracket, three-wire harness, instructions, screws, and the smoke alarm.

Installation was a breeze - shut off the power at the circuit breaker first, removed the old alarms and harnesses next. The instructions with the PI2010 made it clear to not pull out the battery shipping tab until the units all had AC power applied. The mounting bracket was able to use the existing screws so I didn't have to even remove them from the ceiling box. The harness wired up easily and after plugging it into the alarm it only took a small twist to secure it to the mounting mounting bracket. After turning the power back on, I pulled the battery tabs out of each alarm. I tested each one, and had a friend make sure the units on the other floors sounded also.

The alarms in this model are about twice as loud as my old smoke alarms, almost ear splitting loud so I believe there's no chance to sleep through it. A green LED tells you it has AC power and there is a red LED that flashes every so often to say it's working. I may find the 'hush' feature useful for my occasional kitchen disaster, but fanning a cookie sheet is my usual move when I burn something too crispy.

The fact that the battery compartment is on the backside does not detract from the alarm. just a simple quarter twist and the unit comes off the bracket. On that note, it does have an anti-tamper feature that if you choose to activate, removing it from the bracket requires a read through the instructions and a lot more effort.

All in all, it was a breeze to install, it looks and feels professional, it is the loudest alarm I've ever heard, and the hush feature is great.

I plan on extending the wiring and installing these in each of the bedrooms, above and beyond minimum code. Kidde PI2010 Smoke Alarm Dual Sensor with Battery Backup, White

Just bought a house and the smoke detector was over 20 years old. After looking at the various smoke detectors on the web, realized that I needed a dual alarm with both photoelectric and ionization sensors for best coverage. Most of the cheaper alarms are only ionization. This unit met my needs perfectly...

Dual sensor

Hard Wired (previous detector was hard wired)

Battery Backup

Hush button (for false alarms)

Got the alarm a few days before the estimated arrival date. Pulled the pieces out of the box (instructions, bracket, unit, and wiring harness), did a quick look through the instructions and went to work. It really only took me about fifteen minutes to install...most of that time taking the old units bracket down and putting up the new one. The wiring harness has three wires...black, white and red...but the red one has a plastic cover over the end in case you don't need to wire multiple alarms together.

After attaching the needed wires to the house electric with wirenuts and electrical tape, just attach the bracket to the wall, make the sure the included battery is isntalled in the unit, plug the wiring harness into the back of the unit and attach to bracket. Piece o' cake.

If your home already has a certain wiring harness, and you don't want to mess with electrical, I believe there are adaptors available for the back of this unit as well that can accept other shaped harnesses. Very convenient, if you need them. For me, it was pretty simple to cut the power and hook it up myself.

The battery replacement is not nearly as bad as others have described. Just twist the unit off from the mounting bracket, pull off the wired plug, and flip open the battery case. I was also happy to learn that if your house has the red wire, all the smoke alarms are interconnected. That is, if one smoke alarm detects smoke, all the alarms in the house will signal an alert. HOWEVER, all the smoke alarms must be the same! That is, when I initially installed my first PI2010, it kept beeping 3 times every few seconds. I later found it's because I hadn't disconnected my old smoke alarm in the second area. Once I installed both PI2010s in my house, everything worked fine.

I purchased 7 of this item because the smoke alarms in my home needed to be replaced (> 10 years old). This item is a replacement of the highly rated (Consumer Reports) Kidde model PI2000.

I can't rate the performance of this smoke alarm yet, but I wanted to warn other prospective buyers about what I consider a poorly placed battery compartment. The battery compartment for this item is located on the underside of the unit. To replace the battery, you have to unscrew the unit from the base plate.

I was considering returning my order, but read in the owner's manual that the unit will operate using 9-volt lithium batteries for backup. I did a little research on 9-volt lithium batteries and they supposedly will last longer than 9-volt alkaline batteries. I purchased 9-volt lithium batteries today and hopefully they will last at least 5 years. If not, replacing the batteries in these smoke alarms will become a pain.

I have 7 detectors in my home, the units provided by the builder 7 years were junk and malfucntioned at 2 years, numerous false alarms at 3:00AM (not Kidde). I realized i had disconected all but one of the crappy builder supplied units. A few months ago i installed 7 new units from Kidde. I used 5 dual sensor units, 1 with dual smoke and Carbon Monoxide, and one single unit photo electric on the main level close to the kitchen, some say the photo electric is better if it's closer to a kitchen range/stove. After 6 months, not one false alarm, they look nice, they are interconnected. I emailed Kidde prior to purchase to verify that these 3 units can be used together and are compatible when interconnected. I highly recommend Kidde, the dual sensor unit is a little pricey but worth it. - Smoke Detectors - Battery Backup - Smoke Alarm - Smokedetector'

Nailers

Been using various brands (full-sized and newer compact) pneumatic palm nailers for years. Based on 2 days of use - I don't think that this tool is a substitute. As another reviewer noted - it does not appear to be able to start driving nails straight. If you can get the nail started - then this tool will continue to drive it. I've been able to get it to drive flush with some plates and hangers - when using short nails and cc sinker nails - but have yet to be able to fully drive regular common nails. At $99 for the full kit (from Amazon) - I thought to give one a try - not likely to purchase another. Milwaukee M12 Cordless Palm Nailer Kit, 2458-21, red lithium battery

The Milwaukee M12 cordless palm Nailer came just a few days after I order it. I had some very tight areas to nail off on my new patio cover which I tied into the house right under the eves. It worked like a charm. I finished what I thougt would take hours with a small hammer in about 1/100 of the time. It took me about 3 to 4 minutes to hammer (1) 8 penny nail with a conventional hammer. I used the palm nailer and finished ths job in which (about 30 nails) in about 1/2 the time it took to nail the orignal one. The area I had to nail had about 8 inches of room. No problem for the palm nailer.

I would recommend it to anyone. It even drove the 16 penny nails I had to nail as well.

I was waiting to dive into Milwaukee's M12 Red Lithium batteries came out to start buying these small little cordless tools. I currently have most of Milwaukee's M18 cordless line (just don't have that jigsaw yet). While Milwaukee's cordless tools do break very often (compared to my Bosch set which was actually not made in China), Milwaukee is good at fixing them and shipping them back to me in about a week. With gutting a house I end up using my Porter Cable palm nailer frequently for installing all of the hangers needed for leveling a floor or a ceiling. I was really hoping to let that great little nailer sit in its box some days by whipping out this Milwaukee. I mean come on, no air compressor to lug out and set up. This sounded like a good idea. Now I was not expecting a battery operated nailer to be faster than one that runs off an air compressor. The problem with this Milwaukee could also be an easy fix. The huge problem is that I cannot get anything from an 8d to a 16d to actually be able to get nailed and even semi straight. The cradle that the nail goes into just has nothing to hold it steady and when the hammering starts happening the nail goes insanely crooked. This simple aspect makes this nailer useless. Also it cannot flush nail any size nail into a 2X so don't expect that either. It will hammer it consistantly right up to the head of the nail but not flush, not close to flush, but I will say sunk.

The tool does seem well made but it is made in China so I do not think it will last even 6 months with very light usage. Sorry, its just the way it is with China made tools, even the China made tools that have some of the best construction grade names on them. It is heavier than an air powered palm nailer and is not comfortable to hold. Being heavy and not as comfortable do not matter as much because its not like I am going to frame something with this nailer.

To sum everything up. If you want to nail something quick use a hammer. If you want to put a nail in a small spot, this thing is too big anyway and you would be better off just using a screw. I cannot comment on battery life with the new Red Lith battery because I stopped using this tool after 20 practice nails. It is a shame because I was going to buy most of the M12 line now that Milwaukee released the Red Lith batteries. The M12 line is gigantic in cool looking tools that could come in handy from time to time and I do have an endless budget to buy tools with. I just think that I am going to have to skip Milwaukee's M12 line. I do wish it would have worked out. The biggest thing that makes me skeptical is that every China made Milwaukee tool that I have bought has broke on me and that is about $2,000 worth of tools. The old American made Milwaukee tools are great ( I still have them and some are 15 years old). I gave this nailer 3 stars because it is not a piece of junk and maybe Milwaukee can get something figured out. I did not off the 2 stars because it just doesn't function with a purpose in how it currently conducts itself. I mean I am just not going to be in a situation and think that this tool will do any job correctly at all.

I did feel out the new DeWalt 12v line over at Lowes and they do feel great in the hand. I sold off all of my DeWalt tools 2 years ago after getting a bad customer service one time. Since DeWalt got bought out by Black and Decker their longevity and customer support went horrible. Now that DeWalt is owned by Stanely I think that I might be able to give them another try. The now DeWalt 12 volts are made in China but the batteries are made in Japan and Japan builds great great stuff. I started switching over all of my tools over to mostly Milwaukee there for a time before every China made Milwaukee broke very quickly. Now I do prefer Bosch and Makita. Some Makitas are still made outside of China and most Bosch still not made in China. I know its hard to find a tool that is not made in China. While the tools still feel the same, the China ones just do not last a year with light usage and that makes me want to cry.

Product was hard to find for the holidays. Sell promised one and it arrived very quickly. As Advertised. Product is kind of gimmicky. Will not drive small nails. They get stuck in tool. Takes some getting used to. I wouldn't plan on building a house with it. The problem is in the part of the tool that holds the nail. The nail gets attracted to the side of the opening instead of the center. You must "steer" the nailer to get the nail driven correctly.

This product was instrumental in re-nailing the thick metal roof on my turn-of-the-century barn (that is the 1900s not the 2000s...:-)) It allowed me to drive the rubber-gasketed nails thru the metal without having to drill holes first...And yes I know the product is manufactured in China.'

Comb Binding Machines

Although this comb binding machine is not as easy to use as larger (and much more expensive) models - it gets the job done. I am a teacher and am continuously binding booklets and student portfolios. Having my own binding capabilities in my classroom saves a lot of time since I (or my student assistant) can do when I have spare time. The only complaint is that I have to turn the knob to open the combs A LOT. I suppose if I did 30 or 40 at one sitting, my hand would cramp, but I don't do that many at one time. Gen Bindng Combbind C55 Manual Binding System, 90 Sheets, 18-1/2W X 6D X 8-1/2H, Off-White

This is a nifty item to have. The company that I work for is always sending out memos that I need to keep and refer to on occasion. I am now able to laminate them and bind them together. I am very pleased to be able to keep my desk orderly! I am also pleased with the price. The delivery was quick too!'

Reconditioned Tools

I got this nail gun together with the 18 Ga nail gun for an exterior trim project. This gun has the sturdier gauge nails, but I was not as impressed with the convenience of the loading mechanism. Additionally when it got down to about 5 nails it would no longer shoot as the spring mechanism that pressed the nails forward (think like a desk stapler) would slightly tilt the nails. It didn't jamb, but you would have to load additional nails to keep going. Both products have their place and this is still an excellent quality nail gun, I would recommend it for exterior trim work or heavier interior work. Bostitch FN1664K 16-Gauge Straight Finish Nailer

What is this item? It is described variously as the FN1664K - new, retail model - and as the FN1664KR - used, reconditioned model.

The Amazon page title and the Product Descriptions describe it as a new, retail item, but the Product Specifications and What's in the Box identify it as the reconditioned item.

Tried online chat and called in to customer service, and one says "New" and the other says "Reconditioned".

So I'm just asking: what is this?

And for now, I am rating it 2 stars because no one seems to know what I'll get if I order it... Will update or retract if I ever find out what's really in the box.

My old nailer finally bit the dust, so I opted for this one. I was a bit sceptical on the "oil less" but tried it any way. Seems to work just fine, no jams and drives just the way you would want it to. I'm not a heavy user, but use it a few times a month, so can't say how it would be in everyday use.'

Large Format Printer - canon, pro9000

This product isn't quite listed correctly. It should be listed specifically as the Canon CLI8 Value Pack for the Canon Pixma Pro9000.

This particular printer model uses all 8 of these cartridges at once.

Listing Canon CLI-8 Value Pack BK/C/M/Y/PC/PM/R/G (0620B015) as I have stated, would prevent issues such as the gentlemen who wrote a review saying he had to return this item because he thought it was a double 4 pack so he ended up with 4 cartridges for which he had no use. Canon CLI-8 8-Color Multipack Ink Tanks

I recently purchased a Canon Canon Pro 9000 MKII to replace an Epson 2200 photo pinter. I find the print quality using this printer to be outstanding in comparison to the Epson. The color rendered by these inks are very accurate and the detail provided by the Pro 9000 MKII is easily seen as superior to the Epson 2200- as it should be since the Epson is 8year old technology.

I purchased the 8 ink tank multipack to tray and save money. I rated the multipack as 3stars because, while it is less expensive than buying individual ink tanks, a more cost effective option that Canon should offer is a 4pack that would include 1 cartridge each of Photo Magenta, Photo Cyan, Yellow and Cyan. These are the colors that are used by the printer by a factor of 2 to 1 of the others.

I've printed various Kodak C-print and Cibachrome papers in the darkroom over the last 30 years, and none come close to the quality I get with my Canon Pixma Pro9000 teamed up with CLI-8 inks. In addition, these inks outlast the photo materials and have a wider gamut as well.

I don't think you can find a lower cost than at Amazon.

When you want professional results, prints that you resell, there is no reason to experiment with cheaper, non-OEM inks. When you consider the time spent in the darkroom running test prints for color balance and exposure plus dry-to-dry times, these inks would still be a bargain at their full price found at the retail store. At Amazon, savings of 40% or more make a sweet deal!

Bought an expensive Canon Pro 9000 Printer, so can not see any reason to compromise with generic ink. So far, Amazon has the best price for the real thing. Sometimes I think the manufactuers should give you the printers for free if you obligate yourself to purchase ink from them. Comparatively, the price was not too bad for this.

There's not much to say about printer ink cartridges. Either they're the right ones for your printer or they ain't. These are right for the Canon PixmaPro 9000. All replacement cartridges are overpriced. The price on this pack is about the lowest I have found so far.

I own the PIXMA iP6600 Canon printer which has only 6 slots for the CLI-8 ink tanks leaving out the Green and Red tanks. However, purchasing this 8 pack, with no use for the Green and Red tanks, ended up pricing out to be the equivalent of purchasing the Canon CLI-8 4-Color Multipack Ink Tanks ($43) and then the Canon CLI-8PM Photo Magenta Ink Tank ($14), and Canon CLI-8PC Photo Cyan Ink Tank ($14) Seperately. Of course, shipping is also free thru Amazon with ground shipping so my total which would have been around $71 for 6 tanks ended up being just $75 for the 8 pack. $4 more for $28 worth of new tanks.

Obviously I have no use for the CLI-8 Green & Red tanks but they retail for $14 a piece so maybe I'll just sell them or give them to a friend who has the PIXMA Pro9000. Just a suggestion to those of you looking for ink. (*If prices change since I've typed this review I apologize)

Canon ink is a very good product. I have had not problems in the printer or on the different papers, clothe and vellums I have used it with. I created clothe banners with the inks and they hold up well at art shows.

The Canon cli-8 8 packaging is really handy to be able to buy all the colors I need at once. I use the Canon pro9000 13" wide printer. The red and green inks are a great addition to the ink series for great colors for my art prints.

I always purchase my large 8 pack from Amazon for the value. Great price and great shipping. - Pixma - Canon - Pro9000 - Pro 9000'

Lab Notebook - graph paper, lab notebook

I am a physics major and this is the only notebook on which I will do physics. The ivory-yellow color of the paper will literally make you feel smarter and if you turn in assignments on this color, you will always have the ease of finding them in a stack of returned papers the rest of which are plain white. The paper is an excellent heavy weight, the perforation is just right, and the pages will never fall out like the more common non-spiral bound graph paper notebooks. The grid lines are just the right size. I hope these never go off the market, because I'm a serious devotee! They can still be found at Office Max most of the time, where I live at least. Cambridge Quad Wirebound Notebook 70ct (06194)

this graph paper is really high quality. The manilla color is easy on the eyes and the printed graph is just dark enough to keep you on a straight line instead of blending in with your pen strokes as so many of these quadrille notebooks tend to do. I've been flipping notebooks upside down since before there was such thing as a lefty notebook. The reason this one stands out so well is the absence of margins and pre-drilled holes. the paper is heavy enough that both sides can easily be used for note taking without losing legibility. I'm also very impressed with how well the perforated line works when I need to tear a page out. all in all, I'm sold for life!!!

I use this for all my math, statistics, and all science courses. The paper is very easy to write with. You can use both sides of the page to take notes without going through to other side. I am ordering a bunch more. By far the best quad notebook I've used. The pocket is a nice bonus too!

I ordered this product expecting an over sized graph pad (not 8 1/2 x 11) because the product dimensions state it's 10.3 x 11 inches.

While I'm happy with the quality of the paper and spiral binding, I ordered this product because I needed a graph pad that was as close to square as possible for some design work.

I'm back to taping pages together and having to remove them from the book rather than being able to leave the pages intact and have a safe place for my designs.

I 2nd what the 1st reviewer has said. Also, there's just something about the color that's so pleasing when writing on it. It looks great with all different types and colors of pens and pencils. Personally, I feel that these would be useful not just for engineering and business people, but for creative types as well. I had first read about these on a blog about pens and the difficulty of tracking these down. So glad I did! - Spiral - Notebook - Lab Notebook - Graph Paper'
