Arcteryx Atom Jacket

This really is the perfect jacket. It's lightweight, warm, soft, dries quickly, breathes, and keeps out wind and showers. The cut is actually flattering. It's close fitting (the bottom hem cinch seems unnecessary) and non-bulky, but not at all restrictive. It packs down very small for travel. Stuff the jacket into its hood to make an inflight pillow. Suitable for wearing alone in spring and fall, and thin enough to wear as a winter mid-layer. The hood stays up well and fits under my ski helmet. The fabric feels OK against bare arms. The only thing I didn't like was that my shoulder bag strap kept slipping off the smooth fabric, but I fixed this by swapping out the strap.

If you order a color be aware that they are BRIGHT! I initially ordered the bondi blue one but exchanged it for black. Perhaps you are more adventurous than me.

I only wish I'd discovered this hoody earlier. I would not have bought a hooded softshell or down jacket liner. Atom LT Hoody - Women's Jacaranda XL by Arcteryx

My wife loves her jacket. Seamless construction, as always from Arcteryx. The stretchy cuffs on the sleeves are very comfortable. We found that the hooded version seems slightly larger than the non-hooded version (we returned the non-hooded version). Pockets are very warm and fleece lined. Hood stays put in wind. Loved it!'

Levi 501 - levi 501, 501

I really like the Riggs Workwear series in general. I prefer the Ranger pants (with large cargo pockets). I got these as a "dressier" version since they don't have the cargo pockets. They are super tough pants and take a beating. They also break in well and become very comfortable after wearing them 6 or 7 times. The leather protector on the right pocket is nice, but as some others have said, is too thick for anything but a tape measure clip (or similar) -way- too big for a pen. Wish they came in some other colors, but these are the best engineered pants around. Riggs Workwear By Wrangler Men's Ripstop Carpenter Jean, Dark Khaki, 54W x 32L

These are the best pants I've ever had for a long time. I wear them as a dress pants, and on the farm. They're comfortable and they have the right size e.g. 37 for waist. I only give them 4 stars, because I've noticed after a year they would fry between the legs, by the seems. I've also noticed that the quality went down as well. I bought these pants when they first made them years back from "Gemplers". It was the only place where you can get them. Now they're available every where and that's when I noticed the quality issue. My first 2 pairs lasted the longest. All of the new ones, they're rated for about a year. These are the only pants I wear now, I've got 9 of them over the years and there is 2 brand new in my closet. I've told all my friends about them, and they went and got some when they went on sale from "Menards". They had the same issue with the frying between the leg as well.

These are the greatest pants a working man could ever hope for. I wore them while roofing my house and the "Ripstop" material lives up to its name. No matter how many nails, splinters, and sharp corners I dragged them across...the material never suffered a bit of damage. The leather sewn over the pocket is the perfect answer to torn cloth from steel measuring tape clips, cell phones, etc. These are comfortable, look great, and really perform on the job. No more denim for me. Im buying these from now on. Highly recommended! - 501 - Jeans - Pants - Levi 501'

Sata Cables - sata, sata power adapter

I built a computer about a month ago, and of course skimped on the power supply, which only turned out to have one SATA connector. The problem: I had two SATA devices; my hard drive and my DVD drive. The solution: get this SATA power adapter. It took about 30 seconds to find, another 30 seconds to order, and 2 days to ship (free). I have had no problems with it whatsoever. I even forgot I was using it until I got an email asking me to review it. It works 100% as intended. StarTech 6in 4 Pin Molex to SATA Power Cable Adapter (SATAPOWADAP)

I was replacing a hard drive in a older computer that had sata connectors on the motherboard, but didn't have sata power connectors coming from the power supply (the original hard drive was IDE). So I bought a sata hard drive and this connector and it's been working fine. - Power Cables - Sata - Sata Power Adapter - Hard Drive'

Local Dimming - 3d, led

This is a weird purchase for me, coming from being a SONY & Samsung Fanboy. This is the most outstanding 2D picture I have ever laid my eyes on, and I have seen many High-end Television sets. I almost bought a Sony XBR-HX909 for the super high reviews on its amazing 2D image. But once I saw the 3D image I was a bit thrown off by the 3D technology, after already owning a Panasonic 3D Viera which was much better. So this is what I have gathered from my total experience with the Vizio 3D HDTV:

-PROS-

+The purchased place with Amazon was better than I thought it would have been. Easy, Fast, Free Shipping, NO TAX (Tax is around $115 if you buy from a store), and perfectly cared for; Sam's Club is scary, lol.

+47 inches of "OMG! It is bigger than I thought." This set gives so much at this price, quality, and Size!!!

+The LED television is thicker, due to the 160 LEDs being directly behind the screen. This makes for better contrast that will blow your mind away!!! I have never seen this kind of true black on a set ever before. Sony sells this technology for around $3,500; yikes!

+Features, Features, Features!!! The WiFi works amazingly. The Netflix app play videos at a higher resolution than my PS3 or computer using HDMI. The WebTV programs are limited but they are great, like Revision3. There is Vudu rental, Amazon Steaming, and of course Netflix. There is Pandora and a radio app for local radio station; or any state you want.

+The best built-in speakers! The sound is out outrageous, there is simply no thin TV that can house speaker like the ones on this set. I was going to buy a 5.1 Dolby system for the room, but I only turn the volume up 20% on the Vizio. I recommend to turn Truevolume off, if causes weird volume changes. This feature is on most Televisions with different names, but always cause volume issues; much like ipod's volume settings.

+The remote is bluetooth and an amazing little device. All remotes should be like this one!!! It is universal, and automatically has the codes in the television for all devices but the PS3; due to the PS3 syncing. But the XBOX 360 is compatible! TIVO, DirectTV, etc. The keyboard is great for the apps and Facebook! Since it is bluetooth, like the PS3 Blu-ray remote, the signal is always connected, so the buttons are harder to press so you don't accidentally change channels. This is a good thing.

+Bluetooth means wireless headphones so you don't bother others who don't want to hear the TV; like my girlfriend when she is sleeping. You can buy Vizio's headsets, or any bluetooth headset you may have will work as well.

+The accessories like the Vizio Router, Bluetooth Headset, or Vizio Stereo equipment are made easy and for a great price (high ratings from CNET). The 3D Glasses are sold seperately, but only cost around $150 for two rechargeable glasses. That is about the price that SONY or Samsung sells for one Pair!!! Very Cheap for 3D!!! 2 SONY pairs will buy you 4 Vizio pairs. A lot of the other 3D TVs come with one pair, or no glasses at all.

+The Price is dead on with AWESOME!!! It is robbery!!! I payed $1500, and chose Amazon after the tax factor of buying in a store. The 480hz (really 240hz) makes 2D images amazing, and not look fake at all! Remember to turn this feature all the way to high, because it is turned off out-of-the-box.

Okay, well here is the BAD:

CONS

-There is no SD slot, but this is not a problem really. There is 3 USB ports! 3!!! I never used the SD slot on my Panasonic, it is kind of useless.

-The 3D is not like my Plasma 3D. BUT!!! The Plasma does great 3D, but not a great 2D image. 3D is a fun factor, don't take it seriously and you will be fine. The ghosting issue is present, but it is present on every 3D set I have seen but the Panasonic 3D Plasmas. The 3D can be down right horrible on the PS3 video games at times, but does okay on the movies. Remember that 3D is not a every moment thing on this set. It is used rarely and on all 3D pictures you can turn it off to 2D. I personally like the 3D and the glasses, but don't think that there will be any set better than this, other than the Plasmas. The real focus should be that the TVs 480hz (really 240hz) is used for better 3d, but really make the biggest difference on the 2D image; which is amazing!

-Size, is a bit thicker, but it is because it has to be in order to produce the images at the 10,000,000:1 Contrast. I think the set is beautiful, and my friends freak out how beautiful it is in person! So Size is nothing but a few inches difference. You should really not worry about size though, you can't see how thick the TV is, but you can tell the Image difference.

IN THE END

This Television out preforms all the Television set I have seen, even the Samsung 8000 series. It has so many features, you will feel that you just robbed Vizio of their money about $1000. The 3D is okay, but you shouldn't worry; no one will have a TV even close in quality to this one! The accessories are great, with amazing prices. You will ultimately feel that you are leagues ahead of any other TV. The black are literally black (the led turn off), the whites are bright as all hell, the color are beyond anything you know! You cannot go wrong with this purchase. I hate to say it, but Vizio converted me away from the other brands (Sony, Samsung, etc.). The Reviews from CNET are endlessly great too! This should be the happiest purchase on a Television set you will ever have. Good luck, and feel free to post extra question, I will answer back :) VIZIO XVT3D474SV 47-Inch Full HD 3D Full Array TruLED with Smart Dimming LCD HDTV 480 Hz SPS with VIZIO Internet Apps

I just purchased this TV and I'm still in the process of doing everything with it, but I'm here to give an honest first impression. I'm actually using my computer connected to this TV to write this review and let me say that in my tiny bedroom this TV is massive. It looks great with my computer connected via RGB and there is little to no lag. I just watched KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas on the TV last night and the stream looked pretty good for what it was. The 2D picture is fantastic on this product and both my PS3 and Xbox 360 look amazing on it. The 3D needs work and I knew that coming into this TV. There is some ghosting of the image when watching 3D, but it does it's job well enough. You will definitely notice ghosting on anything other than Blu-ray 3D and titles in general. I'm not happy about it, but what can you do? I'm not using a certified 3D HDMI cable, so maybe that's an issue? I know it's a high speed HDMI cable, so it should be good enough. I did just order an Amazon High Speed 3D supported cable though to see if there is a difference. I'll update this review with my findings. I'd say the 3D is not a must for this TV, but is a cool extra. I watched a 3D Hockey game last night that was broadcast on Xfinity 3D in my area. It was pretty cool, but the ghosting is plentiful. If you don't know what I mean by ghosting, well I mean that you can see a shadow of the image behind the 3D image and it makes everything a bit blurry. The score graphic on the Hockey game looked horrible as do the static titles in most 3D cases. I would not recommend buying the 3D GLASSES, WHICH HAVE TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY. I bought mine at Sam's Club for about $160 and I was happy for that price. I still would caution anyone expecting perfect 3Dm which is a let down when you don't feel it's perfect after spending so much money. Vizio should really bundle at least one pair of 3d glasses, especially since the technology is not up to snuff. I tried some of the Vizio Internet Apps and the Yahoo Weather is cool, so is the Amzon Video(Thanks for the $5 video credit!) Netflix seems to work, but it as SUPER SLOW for me through wireless connection and my bars are almost full. I thought the TV froze it was so slow. Maybe being connected with Ethernet directly would change this. Anyway, here are some pros and cons, if you have any questions email me at: Doofus88@gmail.com

PROS:

-Great 2D picture

-3D option is nice

-Works well with connected computers, PS3, and Xbox 360.

-Sound is pretty good, mind you I'm in a tiny room.

-Internet Apps are nice, but Netflix seemed slow over wireless.

CONS:

-3D technology not good enough for the high price tag.

-Expensive 3D glasses that are NOT INCLUDED.

SIDE COMMENT:

I also want to comment that Amazon uses Pilot for shipping and they really suck. DON'T EXPECT YOUR TV TO BE DELIVERED ON THE DAY YOU SCHEDULE ON AMAZON. I got mine Saturday and it was supposed to be delivered Thursday. Pilot's costumer service was rude and the delivery man did not handle my TV with care. I just wanted everyone who orders to know that.

UPDATE: 12-18-10

Just a few updates for my review here. One thing I did is add attributes for different aspects of this TV.

3D UPDATE

I got the new Amazon HDMI cable that supports 3D and is highspeed and the 3D effect is still the same. I think it works the best on Blu-Ray 3D movies. A Christmas Carol looks great and The Polar Express look really good. There still is some ghosting issues with them, although they have the least of it. I also have a PS3 and played Wipeout HD in 3D, which was ok, but still had lots of ghosting. Pacific Rift really did not look good at all in 3D though, lots of ghosting. I'm curious if it's just that those games were converted and I'll have to wait to get a game made for 3D to really get a great 3D game experience.

SOUND

When I was watching a Blu-ray on my PS3 I noticed some popping randomly during the movie. There are small, but still noticeable. I contacted Vizio and asked them what the best set up for sound through the TV would be. Their online chat is really helpful, really good service, and they told me what exactly to do. I think I still notice it sometimes, but overall I think it's gone. I will update more on this since this could be a potential problem. I think I should be able to use all the settings on for this TV. My settings for anyone if they want to know are...

Both SRS settings off.

PCM for digital output.

Audio mode: Flat

Picture

Just a small thing to nit pick about. I noticed on my Blu-Rays that they sometimes look grainy. I know it's not the TV though because all my games look perfect and no grain anywhere. I think that due to the size of the TV and now close I am, I just notice the small details of the digital transfer more. Or if the movie was shot on film, I notice the grain more. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just wanted to point that out.

I hope my updates help everyone.

****UPDATE 2: January 31st, 2011****

Just a reminder to people who read my review to read the comments on my post to see if I answer any more of your questions while talking with other people. I do also want to state I contacted Amazon once and had the TV exchanged for a new one of the same model because I was unhappy with the "backlight bleed" I was experiencing. My current TV does not have any bleed, just to update. I think it's a serious problem though, so watch out if you get this TV and see that there is a brighter spot somewhere when there is a black screen. - 3d - 240hz - Local Dimming - Led'

Cordless Tool - cordless drill, cordless tool

This thing is very powerful. The battery life is excellent, the charger has the second battery ready to use long before the first one is drained so you never have to wait for a battery to be ready. Lithium ion batteries are almost weightless and even working overhead is no problem with this drill. In fact, it is almost as light as my corded drills but with even more power. I believe this is the best cordless tool Black & Decker has made yet. If I were to change one thing about it, though, it would be to put a 1/2 in chuck on it since it easily has the torque to use larger bits. Black & Decker LDX120SB 20V MAX Lithium Ion Drill / Driver with Storage Bag

After playing with it, after charging (took awhile) its first job was to run some 3/8 lag bolts into studs. I was playing with the clutch and didn't care to listen to it ratcheting, so I bumped it up to 10. I ran the bolt in but did so effortlessly I wondered if it was tight. Without getting a wrench to check it with, I rolled the clutch off and locked it down into 1-1 and promptly snapped the head off the bolt as soon as I touched the trigger. Wow! Now agreed, it was just a hardware store grade II bolt, so the rest of them I pulled out the grade 5's and I believe it would have twisted them as well, but I had wised up.

Very small and very well balanced with the battery in place, and I'd agree that it could use a 1/2" chuck but the drill should last from now on with the 3/8", so rather than fitting a 1/2 to it, I'm going to let it live as is and see how it lasts.

I'm a little concerned about the odd voltage, this is the first 20v I've ever seen and hope it isn't something that's history next year or the year after, and obsolete.

I forgot my giant gripe with this tool: If you're gonna put a light on it (great idea) at least fix it where it points towards the work, not inches underneath. This disappoints me, why do these companies quit right when they're about to hit a home run??? It's not enough to keep me from liking or regretting buying it, just do it right-------guys!!

Very impressed so far, I hope that impression stands the test of time.

I originally purchased a Rigid 12v Lithium Ion drill from Home Depot because of it's compact size and lightweight. I really wanted to like the drill, but it lacked power, smelled of burning motor when under load and didn't seem like it would serve my needs. I returned it and bought the B&D LDX120SB 20 Max Lithium Ion Drill. I have always been happy with B&D cordless tools so I decided to try this one. PLEASE NOTE: I have only used the drill for one day, so I can't comment on it's long term durability.

It is very light and compact. The only difference in size over the Ryobi is the battery pack at the bottom of the handle. This is not all bad as it is well balanced, and the flat surface allows the drill to stand up. It's weight is still very light and the drill is still quite small even with the battery.

The drill seems very powerful and the battery seems like it will provide power for a long time (which it better because it only comes with one battery). I used it to build a firewood box and it was comfortable to use with plenty of torque and power. Using it outside in near freezing temperatures did not seem to affect the battery power.

I was concerned that the speed rating was only 650 RPM's, where a lot of drills are rated to 1200-2000 RPM. The speed of the drill did not seem slow and I could drill and drive screws with no problem at all.

Pros:

-Light and compact

-Excellent power

-Well balanced

-Useful light

-Adjustable clutch

-Solid Chuck

-Has convenient bit holder for one bit

Cons:

-Only comes with one battery (This is a new line of B&D products and extra batteries are not yet available).

-Slower top speed than other drills (May be a problem for some applications, but I found it more than adequate).

-Additional tools are not yet available (knowing B&D I am sure they will be soon).

When i received this, I was surprised at how small it actually is, but don't think that this is a bad thing. It packs a lot of punch. It's very light to hold above your heard and use repeatedly. The battery took a long time to charge, which I will take means it will take a very long time to discharge, especially since it is a Lithium Ion battery. The grip feels very good in my hand as well.

Pros:

-Light weight and balanced nicely

-Very powerful

-Heavy duty battery that doesn't add too much weight.

-Black and Decker brand comes with a certain level of quality itself.

Cons:

-Took along time to charge from dead (although this shouldn't be much of a problem if you just let it charge overnight or something)

-This is the reason I didn't give it five stars: For being a 20v drill, I would have like to see a bigger chuck, since it definitely has the torque necessary to handle larger drill bits.

-My own personal opinion, but I would have rather had a hard plastic case instead of a zipped bag with handles to carry it around in.

My recommendation: Buy!!

tired of hiring people to do little side jobs for me. Im a 51yo female and it was high time i got one of these. after a little online search i found this to be the best for my use. the price is great. the item is light enough for me to use AND not feel my hand is giving out. I u-tube'd how to use cordless drills and have already put up shelves in the laundry room (after having HDepot cut the wood for me) I saved easily the cost of the drill by putting up my own shelves! (also w/ help from u-tube) B&D your drill is EXCELLENT! it holds a charge nicely and the power of the drill is even more than i might ever need! THANK YOU B&D for making a powerful affordable and light weight product, even women can love! on my way to add a door sweep with my new drill (saving me another $20 i dont have to pay the handy man!) I AM LOVING THIS TOOL!! - Cordless Drill - Lithium - Lithium Ion - Cordless Tool'

Weight Loss - diets, strength training

I had been weight training for about two and a half years before purchasing this book. I've tried numerous routines over that time - some I've found online, some I pulled from magazines and books - and I usually get bored after a couple months, so I wanted to try Orvis' technique. First off, be aware that this book is designed for the entry-level lifter. It assumes you either (a.) seldom/never lift free weights or (b.) have been out of lifting for a while. This book is perfect for that gym-goer who is afraid of leaving the Nautilus/cardio areas of the gym.It starts you off relatively slow with total body workouts and by the second month has you working a more typical bodybuilding schedule grouped by muscle area. The schedule has you working out three days a week, and most workouts can be completed in about 30-45 minutes assuming you don't have to wait for any machines/benches.Orvis doesn't cover cardio or nutrition. While that would be a nice addition, the book never makes the pretense of being a comprehensive fitness book - it solely delivers weight training workouts. What I enjoyed most about Orvis' plan was the all-inclusive workout style. When so many programs tout one or two methods of lifting (pyramid, inverted pyramid, super sets, drop sets, etc.), he covers every one of these, rotating through different training styles every couple of weeks. The lifting variety will keep the program interesting and will also prevent your muscles from growing accustomed to a single routine and plateauing. Having worked out for some time, I was impressed when my muscles were sore after starting the super set training week. The main problem I found was that Orvis' program sometimes overlooks certain muscle groups for an entire week. Often I found myself adding a bicep curl, French curl or calf lift to the week's schedule because the book overlooked it. I can see overlooking secondary muscles for a week, but not biceps or triceps. Doing bench presses or lat pulldowns won't give my arms a sufficient workout for an entire week.Overall, I found the book to be great. It's very portable and I've recommended it to a few folks I've met at the gym who are stuck in "Nautilus Land." I would recommend sitting down at the beginning of the week, looking over the schedule, taking a mental inventory of which muscles you will be working on and compensating if any certain group is overlooked. His workouts tend to be a little more oriented toward lower body development, so you may find yourself adding some upper body sets on occasion.Orvis' workouts are limited to just the major (common) lifts. If you're more than just a beginning weight lifter, I would strongly recommend purchasing "Strength Training Anatomy" or "The Encylopedia of Modern Bodybuilding" in addition to this book so you can get a better idea of what alternate lifts you can do to better work certain muscle groups or add more variety to your time at the gym. When paired together, I actually found this program to be great once I got past the first month. The super set/drop set/pyramid weeks are a blast.I would love to see Orvis publish a book oriented toward bodybuilders who have more time to devote to lifting and require more comprehensive muscle training. Weight Training Workouts that Work

I am a 40 year old woman, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthrtis in February of this year, and put on steroids to avoid deformity in my hands. The doctors had mentioned that exercise was no longer an option, but a "must do". Being a novice to the gym, and knowing absolutely nothing about weight training, I felt very intimidated just watching everyone. I would try to copy what people were doing, but I soon found out that with arthritis you have some "bad days", and you are limited to certain exercises. When I approached a trainer to ask questions, they told me to sign up for 10 sessions for $650.00. Well not everyone can do that these days. I became depressed, I went online in search of the perfect video, or book, anything that would help. I stumbled on a review of this book, and the price was not going to break the bank!! I ordered it and 10 days into my work out, I am no longer uncomfortable at the gym, I know what to do! I don't have to ask around. I take the book to the gym with me, it is user friendly, I understand the terminology, and James Orvis writes it so there is no guessing involved!! Like the Nike commercial saids, "JUST DO IT!!" It gives you such a confidence high!!I still have rheumathoid arthritis, but I have a stronger body now, and on thoes bad days, I mentally feel good! Order this book you will not regret it!! I emailed James, and he took the time out to respond, and he gave me the inspiration to keep up the good work, I do feel like I have a personal trainer!

Thank you James Orvis for writing this book. This is a great companion for anyone with an interest in weight training, and once you read what he has to say, you will realize you must weight train. I had been stuck in a circuit rut at my gym, always too intimidated to figure out how the other machines worked. I got this book and it changed everything. He's got twelve weeks of workouts planned, three days a week. Every exercise is explained thoroughly, complete with pictures and pointers on common mistakes. The workouts are also great. They will keep you interested in your program and feeling great afterwards. The book is a paperback spiral, so it is perfect to bring to the gym and refer to during your workout. I highly recommend this book for everyone with an interest in weight training. It makes working out simple, yet challenging.

I have been using this book for 4 weeks, and have indeed seen a difference in my muscle tone. My friends have even said that they have noticed a difference in my appearance. What I found remarkable, and did not previously know, is that I could lift more and more weight with each passing workout. This really helped to encourage me, because I could literally see my strength improving. The reason that I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 is that I feel it is almost necessary to have access to a gym to really do all of these workouts effectively. Also, the section that has "Supersets" is potentially difficult to do because of the fact that you have to go back and forth between 2 pieces of equipment in each excercise. In a public setting, this is very hard to complete without interruption, because the piece of equipment not being used may become occupied by someone else. I can say, however, that there are a lot of excercises that can be done at home with free weights, and I have even been using the Total Gym that I bought some months ago and has been collecting dust in my closet to complete some of the excercises. All in all, this book is a very useful guide to anyone who is interested in adding weight lifting to their fitness routine. - Diets - Fitness - Weight Loss - Strength Training'

Wireless Presenter - pointer, presenter wireless

Very fast shipping to France. Arrived in good conditions.

The product is working well and is good for its price.

The only difficulty is to put the battery in.

You can follow these instructions:

1) Pull the chip down (the opposite side were the clip is)

2) Simply slide the cover (with the clip) back

3) Opened

4) Pop the battery in

5) Slide it back and push the chip back up.

Very handy tool and delivered with a very nice bag.

Works just fine with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and Professional 32bit (both tested personally). RF Wireless Laser Pointer with Page up Down PowerPoint Presentation Function (Black)

very fast delivery. Not very easy to open the battery cap until you learn the trick. The quality of the plastic material is just so so, but enough for the price. Laser is bright enough.loud sound when click the button. length just right for holding in hand, like a normal pen length

I was suspicious whether or not this would work as advertised because of the low price but was pleasantly surprised that it worked just fine. So great value and because of the low price, I'm getting more so each of my kids can have one. Comes in nice zipped case which is good since the USB dongle does not store in the remote, so it keeps them together and the case is harder to lose than just a remote. Decent quality (likely China made since some words in instructions are misspelled. Description does not say what battery it takes which is important since some of these take unusual batteries, but happy to say that it takes a single AAA (came with a working AAA battery). Battery compartment is well concealed and there are no instructions on where it is or how to open it; so here is how to change the battery:

Battery Change Instructions (single AAA)

1. Push the slide switch on the side up towards the button side.

2. Slide the clip out from the remote as the clip is attached to the battery cover.

3. Replace battery then just slide the cover back on and push the side slide lock back down so a portion of it is now in the cover notch).

Note: After reading reviews, there seem to be some different versions. Mine takes regular AAA batteries which is very convenient. Also, mine costs about $4 each, they are selling for $10 now, so not such a good deal for a cheap product. I am guessing from the reviews that different version work a little better than others.

This product will move your PowerPoint slides, but it feels cheap and the buttons don't work well. They don't really feel "pressed" and sometimes you have to press them a few times to get the slide to move.

Big issue. It says to install the battery, but it doesn't say how. There is a little box that you move, which you assume has something to do with it, but it doesn't say which way is lock or unlock, it is poorly defined and difficult to move, you might need a tiny screw driver to get traction and then that just chips away the tiny button's plastic. Nothing seems to open when you move the button, so you use the tiny screw driver to chip away at any seam that look like it might do something. The only defined thing is under the plastic arm that hangs on your pocket, but it is hard to see under there and nothing seems to move. turns out you want to slide it away from under the pocket hook. At one point I gave up having tried all four that I bought with no success, came back the next day and eventually opened one. Directions poor, plastic soft, no clarification of what should move and what doesn't. Don't expect it to last long or perform well, but may do the job for a while. I actually got a better, silver version of these over a year ago and they perform well, came with directions, have harder plastic. I was actually looking for those directions as I remember opening the battery compartment was tricky.

Good luck! Great price!!!

One of my classes didn't have a remote for the projector, and I got tired of having to stand at the keyboard, so I broke down and bought this, and it's worked just great! No driver to install, so no problems putting it to use on the school network, laser pointer works great. Its only drawback is that the buttons feel the same, so you have to learn which button is for the laser pointer and which buttons are for PowerPoint. But, hey, it's eight bucks, and it feels good, works well, and IT'S EIGHT BUCKS :)

This is a great product, especially for the price. Shipping was quick. A great feature that I didn't expect was that when the advance button is held down, it advances the slides very quickly instead of having to advance one at a time.

I am a teacher, so the pointer is used during my classes often. I teach in a regular size classroom and the laser is perfect and strong. I also use the remote for power point, and it's ok. Sometimes seem to "not catch" and needs a second click, but generally works fine from across the room. Great tool for the price. - Presenter Wireless - Powerpoint - Wireless Presenter - Pointer'

Natasha Richardson - kenneth branagh, natasha richardson

A good portrayal by Colin Firth and Kenneth Branagh of what soldiers encountered after returning from war. I loved watching Tom Birkin's (Colin Firth) stutter slowly fading as his work progresses on uncovering an ancient painting on the wall of a church. A church in which he has to live in and where the rector's wife shows him more than a required amount of attention. When he isn't thinking of her, his nightmares of war haunt him. I was thrilled with everyone's performances. I believe the director of this film also directed "Circle of Friends". Colin Firth appeared in a minor role in that film, also. And, another connection in "AMITC" is the circuit preacher appeared in "Shakespeare In Love" with Colin Firth. And, the rector's wife in "AMITC", Natasha Richardson, played with Colin in the HBO film, "Hostages". I recommend these films, also. A Month in the Country

I love this sensitive film! In fact I pulled it off my bookshelf tonight to watch following the viewing of a popular film from last year (supposed to be so great and funny, but wasn't!). Because I totally felt cheated,I needed movie satisfaction tonight. This film is one I have now seen several times and it gets better with each viewing. Subtle details are noticed. Unfortunatly I own the VHS, but would love to purchase the Region 1 DVD version; I keep looking and hope it becomes available soon. This shows just how much I value this film, that I would buy the DVD in a minute.

First, the acting is superb. Colin Firth and Kenneth Branagh turn in such touching, yet quiet performances. There subtle communication is wonderful and sensitively handled. It is what is not said or said between the lines that counts. Their understanding of each other is perfect. Their separate personalities play well off each other. Natashia Richardson is excellent in the role of the stifled vicar's wife. She and Colin have wonderful eye chemistry. Expressions are everything and this little film proves it. All the actors turn in marvelous performances. The children are great. This film does not rely on fancy special effects or elaborate sets, but rather truly fine and talented performances that seem so real and authentic, and will hold up with time. I would highly recommend this film to anyone. It is slowpaced and thoughful, but not at all boring. I loved the beauty of the English countryside and the mysteries of the tombs and the church mural. Themes are layered and revolve around the main characters and their haunting war experiences. The end is perfect. I don't want to give it away.

I bought the book after seeing the film and now am anxious to read it. I am sure it is a fine little book and one I will cherish.

The film of A Month in the Country is a lovely rendition of the novel. Unfortunately, much of the plot is left behind. In order to really appreciate the story and the performances, get the little novel and read it first. It enhances the film beautifully.Brannagh and Firth do first rate jobs throughout.Especially in the pub scene.

Taken as a whole, this is a rather splendid, at times haunting, film which is based upon J.L. Carr's (1916-1994) beautiful and delicately crafted novella entitled 'A Month in the Country', 1980.

The main plot is set during the warm Summer of 1919 and tells of how two young men struggle to regain their 'peace of mind' in the tranquil Yorkshire countryside, after having experienced the horrors of 'The Great War' (World War 1).

A lady benefactor has bequeathed a considerable sum of money to a church in Yorkshire; in order for the church to realize the benefit of this gift, a medieval mural must be uncovered from beneath the Victorian paintwork superimposed over it. Simultaneously, the remains of one of the benefactor's predecessors are to be exhumed with rather startling consequences.

It is in these gentle, pastoral environs in and around the village church that the two main protagonists find their paths crossing; both are patently afflicted with nervous and mental disorders, wrought through them having experienced the downright terror and trauma of the Great War. This film is not simply some naive nostalgic nugget; the dark, tragic effects of war torn lives and communities are very evident.

The film reflects the overall ambiance of the novella reasonably well although it does not adhere to the dialogue or plot without aberration; one 'woodland' scene in particular - involving Tom Birkin (the mural restorer), played by Colin Firth and the local parson's wife, Alice Keach, played by Natasha Richardson - is a complete interpolation void of any substantial textual basis within Carr's original story. Nevertheless, the 'spirit' of the story is successfully retained and this is enhanced by a number of convincing performances, not least of all by Kenneth Brannagh who wallows in the rather engaging and multi-dimensional character of James Moon, an archaeologist working around the churchyard, seeking the grave of the aforementioned ancestor.

Apart from the excellent cinematography and Howard Blake's superbly apposite, mellifluous soundtrack, the story allows us something of a glimpse into the life of its author, J.L. Carr. Termed by some, not entirely appropriately, as 'the last Englishman', Carr himself was involved in a bitter and protracted struggle to redeem the fortunes of a deserted midland church earmarked for closure by various authorities. A blow by blow account of this struggle can indeed be found in 'The Last Englishman: The Life of J.L. Carr ' by Byron Rogers.

Howard Blake's wonderful and evocative score can be found on the CD 'Violin Concerto "The Leeds"', superbly performed by the English Northern Philharmonia and conducted by Paul Daniel. Like the novella, the film version is as profound and affecting as the reader or viewer allows it to be.

Router Accessories - milescraft, router accessories

I purchased the Sign Pro to help my son make a trail sign for his Eagle Scout project. It took a little practice to get the letters cut right.

I broke one letter on my second try. This is because I did not have the chase tight enough and a letter came loose. They will pop out if you are not careful.

(The chase is the frame that holds the letters.)

If you want to do a lot of signs, I recommend that you order an extra letter kit. They supply two letters each with the original kit.

You are also limited to letter size. You can only do 2 1/2" and 1 1/2" letters.

You can do bigger letters with the Panagraph MilesCraft sells. You can also do graphics with it also.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I also recommend that you make short chases of letters instead of making a long chase of letters. It's easier to handle and you are less likly to make an mistake.

Be sure to use other letters as spacers between your words. Turn them around backwards so you won't cut them by mistake and mess up your sign.

Over all, I recommend the Sign Pro. It did a good job on our sign.

Gary M. Wilcox, Summersville, WV Milescraft 1212 Sign Pro Router Signmaking Jig

After being very disappointed with a previous sign jig I was nervious about trying another. This jig is easy to use, clamps well to the product and comes complete with all the necessary accessories to set it up and begin work.

I am making replacement signs for our neighborhood so have a about a hundred to make. Some of the street names are very long so I needed an extra set of templates. I had read in other reviews about the troubles with flex in the rails letting the templates drop out so we started out by screwing a small block against each rail in the middle of the rails. It worked perfectly. After a dozen or so signs we tried it without the blocks. Just as others said the rails separated and let the templates fall out. We caught it in time and did not ruin the work piece. We made 24 signs with no more trouble using the blocks. If you have a lot of signs to make with this kit here is my advice.

1. Buy two kits instead of one kit plus another template. With two people one can be setting up the template guide while the second is routing.

2. If you use the double rails you must block the center.

We expect the kit be used with about 150 signs by blocking the center.

Recently purchased this product through Amazon which had the best price of all vendors reveiewed. I chose to also purchase a router separately and locally. I found it difficult to find a router that would work with the base plate attachement from sign pro. Seems like it may not be updated with the current router models. Otherwise the product works greate and I was able to create a sign a few minutes after removing the Sign Pro from the box.

Absolute trash. I am a professional wood worker and this is as close to garbage as I have seen in a long time. The letters flip out as they are not held in by much. The clamps that hold it to the work piece slide all over the place. I Had to screw the jig to my work which left unwanted holes in it. If you use the 36" setup the rails flex to much in the center. I would not buy this again. it is truly trash.

The Milescraft is the easiest method of making signs on the market. There is a short learning curve to making the first several attempts, but once you get it-you got it. I have been making signs for the friends in my ham radio club and everyone has been delighted to have one. Making signs for friends and family is gratifying. Imagine what you can do with it!

Amazon has the best price available anywhere on the net, look you will see.

I made my first sign this weekend and it came out great!

First of all, before purchasing the sign making kit, I watched this video on youtube:

[...]

This weekend, I unpacked the box, barely looked at the directions, assembled the rails based on what I remembered from the video, slid the letters in, figured out my rails needed the plastic things that keep the rails from spreading, disassembled, re-assembled with those on there. Once I had that all set, I tried using the big C-clamps to hold the template to my board, but they seemed to get in the way, so I just screwed the template to a board.

Next, I put the baseplate on my router. The screws that came with it were too long, but after a brief search through my parts drawers, I found 3 screws with the right threads and length to attach the plate to my router. Attached the guide thing, the bit and I was ready to go.

I was routing a fairly long sign and was using the things in the middle to join two sets of rails together. The rails were kind of bowed downward in the middle of my sign. I put one screw in my board below the bottom rail (close to the center of the board) to nudge the rails upward and into better alignment. I should have added a screw above the top rail to prevent it from flexing upward as I was routing.

My first attempt went pretty well, till I got to the letter "B".... where I messed up. Should have just done the perimeter, nothing internal. Once I realized that, the rest went well. I think I'll get better with time. This was my first time using a router. You don't need much pressure at all. Just lightly trace around.

Bottom line is - I love it! Easy to use, easy to assemble, works great.

The jig is easy to set up and use. It took some practice to produce proper-looking letters from templates that had open spaces, such as the "O" and the "A", but it was mastered quickly. The letters and frame are not super heavy duty , but more than adequate. Highly recommended for value. - Router Accessories - Templates - Milescraft - Letter'

Bellydance Wear - bellydance wear, women

I am a bellydance student and was happy to find these pants. These are

great for the price. I am 37 1/2 hips and 29 waist 5'4 tall. If I was

any wider they would be to tight but fit me perfect. Feels like they

will be comforable to work out in (stretchy). Bellyqueen™ Black Tribal Belly Dance Comfortable Pants

I was afraid these pants would be too big on me since they are one size fits all, but they fit perfectly and were not too long (like every other pants in the world) and I'm 5'2". The pants are very flattering and really comfortable. Best of all they are inexpensive. I highly recommend them.

I have a curvy body and have trouble finding bottoms for belly dance and sambas. These are such a great buy and stretch enough to slide over my bottom half. And people keep complementing the little skirts that hides the

hips and upper thighs.

Purchased these at the same time that I ordered another pair of Bellyqueen pants in Navy Blue and they are much too small for an average size 8-10 person. As with the other review, I recommend that only petite people size 4 or smaller order these pants. They are snug and short. Additionally, there are no return instructions of return label included in the order and no one answers the phone at this Cambridge, MA seller. We'll see if email works better.

These are very flattering to my curvy hips and butt. The material is high quality and conforms nicely to my body, making them very comfortable! My only issue is the in the waist and skirt. Yes, the pants fit, but they are a little small on me so where the skirt and waist meet, there is a little bunching. I am 5'0 and 127 lbs for some reference, so I am not overweight, but I am slightly fluffy around the edges (thus my new hobby of belly dancing). The slight bunching isn't unflattering, but being my own worst critic, I notice it. The skirt is very cute and EXTREMELY flattering, making me more confident in dancing. I would recommend these pants to anyone, but be aware that a plus sized person would not be able to fit into these pair.

I bought these pants for a dance class I am taking. I ordered a size small and they fit just fine - I normally wear an 8. My only complaint is that the fabric is very thin and cheap. I don't think these pants will last me more than a few months, and after the first wear the red trim on the skirt started to come unraveled. It was kind of a disappointment :(.

This pants are very cute and comfy, I gave them a 4 star because they do run really small, I'm 120 lbs and 5'3" and still they are tight on me. The little skirt is really open so I had to sew that back a little bit to make it look better, the greatest thing about these pants is that they are not ridiculously long like other dance pants. Once you wear them a couple of times it seems that they fit better, I suggest you hang dry these because the spandex might mess up in the dryer.

These are very soft and will be nice to dance in. I was not expecting the red stitching around the "skirt" part of the pants, but that's ok. I'd have preferred they were *all black,* but no biggie. Very cute pants. - Bellydance Wear - Women'

Contractor Supply - keyless chuck, cordless drills

An excellent drill for those looking to spend about $70-90. While this drill seems expensive for a 9.6V model keep in mind it works as hard as similar priced 12V models. It is definitely a professional quality product. However, it does fall into that range where for a bit more money you get a 12V+ professional quality drill with more power and battery life. At a similar price point you get a 12V+ consumer drill that isn't really more powerful, is definitely bigger but offers better battery life.

I own the previous version of this drill, the DW926. The DW926 and the DC750 are the same but for the rubber grip surface and the great addition of a one handed chuck.

What's great about this drill? Well despite being small and light, it's reasonably powerful. I have had several cordless drills including this one, a DeWalt DC727 12V, Makita D6011 12V (the old school Makita cordless stick battery drill) and a Sears 12V ~$80 model (2 speed gearbox, not a super cheap 1 speed).

The little DeWalt has the about the same torque (200 in-lb) as my 12V Makita (234) or my Sears (225). Mind you it's not nearly as strong as my 12V DeWalt (350). At the same time the DeWalt is quite a bit more compact than the Sears or Makita models.

More volts doesn't always mean more power! Many people assume that battery voltage equates to how much power a drill has. That's just not true. It's more complex that that. Needless to say you can advertise big voltage and still have no power to speak of. Look at some of the cheap Black and Deckers (the maker of DeWalt) for examples of lots of volts but no torque.

So it can work just as hard as many of the consumer grade 12V models (harder than many 1 speed models). So what's the down side?

Well costs to some degree. If you can get this drill for say $70-90 it's good buy because the competing "home use" drills just aren't any more powerful. However, once you get to around $100+ the 12V+ models intended for contractors from DeWalt and other brands offer yet more power and in the case of DeWalt's own DC727 little increase in size or weight.

Battery life (the start that shines twice as bright...): Remember when I said this 9.6V was just as powerful as many home use type 12V drills like my Sears drill? Well there is a price you pay in battery life. The drill clearly trades battery life for power. My 12V Sears isn't really any more powerful but it lasts a lot longer on one battery. The DeWalt does come with two batteries but you may still use them faster than you charge them. So while this drill will work just as hard as a 12V or even some cheaper 14.4V drills it will run out of juice faster. That might give you pause if you are thinking about screwing in deck screws all afternoon.

In the end I really like the DC750. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this drill for medium duty jobs so long as the limited battery life isn't an issue. Otherwise I might suggest looking for a DC727. However, I would also suggest buyers consider stepping up to a 12V DeWalt for the extra battery life and power with little size increase or looking at something like the Sears 12V-14.4V line of home use drills. They are larger, chunkier, and hardly more powerful in the 12V case but they do have better battery life. Still, the DC750 a great little drill. DEWALT DC750KA 9.6-Volt 3/8-Inch Cordless Drill/Driver Kit

I've just bought a 2nd DeWalt 9.6V cordless drill to supplement my woodworking shop. My first is still going strong after over 6 years of use. The original batteries have just about died (I still have one good one) so rather than spend eighty-four dollars on two new batteries I spent about the same for a new drill kit that comes with two new batteries!

This drill is great for general purpose work and is small and lightweight enough to be a joy to use in tight places. Why lug around a beastly-size cordless drill when you don't have to? Only rarely have I found the 9.6V drill to be lacking in torque (I mostly drill in wood with 3/8" and smaller twist bits). If you need something with more speed and/or torque then consider the 12V (the upper speed of the 9.6V is 1,100 rpm vs. 1,400 rpm for the 12V).

Batteries recharge fast (less than 1 hour) but the ones for my newest drill seem to last only about 1/2 as long as the first batch did. And, they are NiCad so you need to make sure you top-off the charge if you've not used the drill in the past several DAYS. Short battery life between charges is my only complaint. The new drill models have a chuck lock which is most handy--you no longer have to hold the chuck still when loosening or tightening the chuck.

This is a great product from DeWalt and, except for the short batterly charge duration, I strongly recommend it.

I have been using the prior, discontinued Dewalt 9.6 volt version of this for many years. I am home DIY and the versatility and power is more than adequate for my needs. This new one replaces another brand which has needed replacement batteries or chargers during the same period of my use of the old Dewalt drill -- the old Dewalt is still going STRONG! One major advantage of the Dewalt batteries and charger is that I can leave the second battery in the charger until needed. Just replace the exhausted battery after use with a fully-charged battery, put the exhausted battery in the charger and forget it until it is needed. NO CHARGE AND REMOVE CHARGER AFTER SEVERAL HOURS! GREAT!

[...]

This is the little brother to the - DEWALT DC727KA Heavy Duty 12-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless 3/8-Inch Drill/Driver - and probably simply does not have the torque to really need a 3/8-inch chuck.

That said, this is a perfect little drill/driver for general home use - even a novice will not find it intimidating to use. A wide clutch range and good speed control means the driver can be used with perfect control by a careful user, even if inexperienced.

The unit is well balanced - though honestly, the uses for which this unit will shine are not likely to involve repetitive motion stress.

I have given this unit only four stars, due to the battery lifetime of this range of units, though for occasional use this will not likely be a problem, and the charger is reasonably fast.

Hope this helps.

(This is being added a few years after: battery life really is the bugaboo of this line of tools! The replacements cost as much as the full kit!!!) - Keyless Chuck - Dewalt - Cordless Drills - Cordless Screwdriver'

Reusable Swim Diaper

I have found the product wonderfull....

I thought I would help other buyers by adding some info on the product....

Small 10-18lbs, Medium 18-22lbs, Large 22-25lbs, X-Large 25-30lbs, 3T 30-38lbs, 4T 38-46lbs, UPF 50+, PVC Free Eco Friendly, 100% Polyester..... HAVE FUN SWIMMING iPlay Swim Diaper - White, 12 Months

Maybe this is a good product? I guess I will find out in 6 months or so? I was suspicious when I ordered this when the size chart was for generic Amazon "baby" sizes, but took a chance anyway. That was a mistake. Now I have a swim diaper that won't fit till my girl gains a good 6 pounds. WTG Amazon.

Here is the size chart from the actual product tag:

Small: 10-18 pounds; 6-months

Medium: 18-22 pounds; 12 months

Large: 22-25 pounds; 18 months

X-Lrge: 25-30 pounds; 24 months

I used these diapers with my son for 5 months last year, in both swimming pools and a fresh water lake. He weighed around 25-28lbs and wore 18mo sized pants for most of that time, so the Large fit perfectly - you Have to have a snug fit in the legs. They are a bit sheer when wet, but the padding in the crotch area make it still ok to use w/o swim trunks over them if you forget them.

Most important - THEY DO HOLD IN POO! Between my husband and I, we had at least 3 big poos over the summer - and the diapers NEVER LEAKED POO. That being said, because you have to peel the diaper down off the kid, it is almost impossible to get the poopy diapers off w/o a bit of a mess. But at least you don't have to worry about causing a health crisis/shutting down the local pool b/c of a poo leak.

They wash easily, and even survive a few accidental runs through the dryer. We took swim lessons 2-3 times a week, and only needed 3 diapers to get us through the summer.

One last note - don't change into the swim diaper until you are ready to get in the pool. Like all swim diapers, they are designed to hold in the poo, not urine. So if he wets himself on the way to the pool wearing the swim diaper, everything is going to get soaked.

Wonderful product. When our neighborhood pool started requiring a swim diaper and rubber pants for any child under 4, I was a little anxious as our 2-yr old was already potty trained and was worried about all the layers and her being confused about wearing pants now. I love how this product is all-in-one so she just can wear these under her suit. Not terribly bulky, washes well and you save money buy not having to buy the disposable swim diapers. Bought another pair for my 6-mo old as well.

We bought this swim diaper after borrowing a friends Wee Wave swim diaper, which we loved. I liked this one because it was white, and didn't have any silly patterns on it. It fits my 20 lb daughter well, especially around the legs. She has used it a lot, as my parents have a pool, and we are staying here for the summer. My only complaint is, the whole diaper isn't lined as well as the part around the crotch is. But, it has kept in several potentially disastrous, ummm, events, shall we say. On the whole, it has been a great buy.

We bought this swim diaper along with the Bummis and Flap Happy brands for my 12 month old. This swim diaper definitely is the best in terms of padding/absorbancy, sizing, and leak-proofing.

The other two brands, in comparison, just have mesh linings whereas the iPlay has something similar to a cloth diaper lining inside in addition to the mesh, plus elastic around the top & legs. I thought the outside of this diaper was going to just be regular cloth like the Flap Happy brand, but it's actually more like a water resistant shell. I really trust this diaper on its own in the pool versus the other two.

There is also a really cute little blue accent tag at the top.

I do like the styles/patterns of the other two swim diapers (black sharks on the Flap Happy and blue clown fish on the Bummis) but this diaper seems to be the best quality and leakproof, which is what really matters.

the swim diapers them selves are great. the sizing is not accurate. my daughter is 13 months and about 20 pounds and the large size were too small on her.

the good news is that when i called amazon to let them know about the size issue, they refunded my money no questions asked. amazon rocks!!!!

This diaper does the job of preventing pool accidents, and in white it is unobtrusive under all of my daughter's swimsuits. I'm a little confused by the review that said the small (10-18lbs) was too small for her 14lb. baby. My 7-month-old is currently 17+ pounds, and the small still fits fine, although I just ordered the medium for her to move up to soon. Note that the diaper is supposed to be tight around the legs and waist; it wouldn't keep anything in otherwise! I will say that I have a fairly tall baby at 28 inches, so if yours is more of a chunk, I suppose you MIGHT need to size up.

This is hands down the best swim diaper we have ever used (and after 3 kids I have used A LOT of swim diapers). It doesn't leave red marks on my son's legs and completely contains messes. I love that I can just toss it in the wash with all the swim stuff and don't have to find a trash can as I leaving the pool. The inside is a soft cotton terry instead of netting. A++ product!

LOVE this swim diaper, I don't know why we didn't do it sooner! We use cloth diapers (fuzzi bunz) and overall are happy with those. I used Huggies swimmie diapers for the pool, figured it was more sanitary in case of an accident, but always seems to give the boys (now ages 2 and 6 months) a bad rash, probably the chemicals mixed with chlorine. So finally bought these last month and am so happy! So worth every penny and they will save us in the long run, too. We haven't had a big pooh in them, but I have no doubt they'd work just as well as any disposable. I bought four pairs so we'd have an extra for each kiddo while at the pool just incase. I wash them on warm with the boys' clothes and then line dry, they do great! They do run pretty small I'd say, I was surprised. We got medium and they fit both a kids well (17lbs and about 20lbs). Our two year old is VERY small for his age and he'll probably be in a large soon. I'd highly recommend them to any one, it's a great alternative to the cost of disposables, plus it's easier on a kiddo's bum, AND it's more green. Can't go wrong.'

Table Saws

I needed an inexpensive table saw for a remodeling progect I have going. At about a hundred dollars this seemed to fit the bill. The saw arrived in good shape and worked fine but the rip fence was junk. I found a stand made by Skil for this saw that was fantastic (at about the same price as the saw). With the two of them together this is a great saw for the money. Factory-Reconditioned Skil 3310-01-RT 15 Amp 10-Inch Table Saw

I just have a quick easy project that I need this, so I choose the cheapest one and a recondition one at that for under $100 all together. I don't have much expectation. But I was totally surprised how easy it work and it is a lot quieter than I expect. I don't know enough to say how it measure up to the more expensive ones, but I am sure happy with it, get all my needs done with flying color, have all the place to hold all the little parts for storage. For those of you that need something cheap to do some quick work, this is ideal. It might be very good even for more serious work, I just don't know.

Purchased this table saw as a "factory-reconditioned unit" for under $100 shipped. The unit took about 2 hours to align the saw blade and to familiarize myself with all the features. It was also my first table saw I must mention. I have been running this unit about 1-2 hours per week and it works good enough. The cuts are very clean and, while not 100% precise, they are pretty darn close to being 100%!

The main problem is inferior quality parts on this saw - the staight-edge guide tends to move a tiny bit if you press your wood against it too hard. This is why the cuts aren't 100% consistent.

Another significant problem with this saw is not being able to cut anything over 13" wide. So an extension kit will is a must.

I am not sure this saw is suitable for somebody who does woodworking professionally (for a living). While it was a good buy for my first table saw, I think, eventually, I will have to invest in a table saw of higher quality.

I've had it with Lowe's. The table saw I bought 2 years ago at $99 was now priced at $139.99 but "on sale" for $129.99. So off to the internet for a new table saw. This one cost $96 and is bigger, stronger and more sturdy. Plus free shipping to my front door and NO taxes. Thanks AMAZON!

I had a Craftman which is same size with Skil 10in table saw, i've used over a year and it has a problem with a motor, couldn't replace 'cause warranty over. Anyway, i got this one which is fit my budget and slice wood very smoothly, even the saw was a factory recondition, one thing i need to adjusted was a fender that is not really strong enough, just be careful when you start to cutting, don't let materials jam to the fender.

CPO Outlets is a great company. Very fast delivery. The saw was " reconditioned " It looked and operated as " brand new " to me. Included manual and accessories that also looked new. I'm already planing the next order. You can't go wrong with CPO Outlets.'
