Leather Belt
Belt looks realy nice kind of stiff but on looks il rate it a 5 but the damn thing broke when i tried to tighten it the belt buckle tore loose from the leather belt, next time i will buy a made in America belt China makes this item Columbia Men's 35mm Genuine Reversible Leather Laced Belt,Brown/Black,38
Why carry two belts when you can just reverse this one to match either black or brown? The brown side has some black in it as well to match most any combination. My only criticism is that the all black side looks a little cheezy, but once you put it on it's hard to notice and looks fine really. The brown and black side is quite attractive IMO. The buckle flips around easily to reverse, and has proven sturdy in a few months of frequent use.
I'm a big guy so finding items that fit me, are hard to come by. So Amazon, I guess knowing I'm a big guy - recommend this one. It has the basic black (on one side), and a nice stylish brown leather/Black laced pattern (On the other, hence reversible). I must say that - the picture shown above doesn't do well to show it off. I was originally worried about the "worn" look the picture above seems to show. But when I got the built, mine didn't seem to show an worn look to it.
I agree with the other commentators to get a size bigger then you usually do. The belt does seem to be a bit stiff then expected.
Pros:
Stylish
Made for bigger guys
Reversible
Sturdy: Belt, and buckle both well made.
Well priced
Cons:
Black side is... Basic doesn't have much flair compared to brown side.
Bit stiff.
I dislike the Columbia logo, at the buckle end of the built. But it doesn't take away really anything from the built. In my opinion if some girl is that close to me, to notice the logo - she'll be too busy to say anything at the time, or notice.
The buckle on this belt is fastened to the belt using two small screws that go through the leather and sort of "clamp" it against the other side. I had my belt maybe 3 weeks when the leather gave way and the buckle came off!!
I could have "fixed" this by cutting the end of, re-notching the end to match the current and "re-clamp" but I knew that it would simply fail again.
This is a flawed design, many of the "dressy" buckles that are meant to look good, have this and they cannot take the actual pressure.
Instead, I am returning my belt for a credit and I already have a nice Carhartt belt picked out.
The belt IS very nice looking which is why it got 2 stars instead of 1. Reversible is VERY nice, but the lousy clamp design ruined it for me. (Exchanging made no sense either since the buckles will all have the "clamp" design)
It is not allowing me to mark this as an item I purchased (I guess since I returned it)'

Heatsink - thermal
I am a PC builder and overclocker. I have used many types of thermal material. This product stands out for three reasons.
Easy of use - It applies very easily, and spreads out well. All it takes is a small glob in the center of a CPU, and the pressure of the heatsink takes care of the rest. Just remember that if the chip you are covering has an exposed die (you can see the actual chip) you need to spread a thin layer as opposed to the glob method.
Performance - It performs as good or better than any pastes I have personally tested. The pastes I have tested are MX-2, Arctic Silver 5, IC7, Kingwin, Zalman, Thermalright, and many others.
Non-Conductivity - This product does not conduct electricity, as opposed to some other pastes. So if you get a little over zealous or sloppy with your application, you don't have to worry about killing your components.
This product is the best I have used in all three of the above categories. Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound - Retai
This was tested on a Phenom II X4 965 BE (Rev. C3) and my current temperatures are 32º in idle and 58º under heavy load (100% CPU usage) using the stock cooler. I actually don't have prior temperatures to compare them with (I removed the stock thermal grease before installing the CPU and used this) but from what I've read from others 965 owners those are great temperatures for this processor.
The syringe method of application is a huge plus over using the traditional compounds because of the danger of applying too much paste. Also another great benefit of this paste is the fact it is conducive so you don not need to worry about misapplying the paste and increasing the heat on your CPU. Good deal.
This paste worked out great for my latest build. Turns out I didn't read the product descriptions well enough and ended up buying an extra tube when some comes with the Noctua coolers already. Won't hold that against them though just be aware if you're buying a cooler.
So this is the best compound I've used in a long time. Given you clean the processor and heatsink properly, you should have some awesome results in your temps.
Keep in mind, there are better things than rubbing alcohol to clean your processor and heatsink. Debris and gunk can always affect things and WILL affect them.
But either way, I love the safety it provides by not being conductive, and the very short cure time. After having spent a boatload of money on my i7 system, I really wanted something that would be effective ASAP. Spending the extra $2 on this compound was a pretty easy decision after researching reviews on the net.
It's been less than 2 years, and I got the i7 920 when it first came out... I still have no issues and plan to reseat the heatsink and replace the compound a little bit before that 2-year recommended mark hits. And I've had very stable temperatures altogether!
I used this compound a few months ago on both my i7 processor (with a Noctua cooler) and on my 4870X2 GPU's with a video card cooler - it has been great so far. It applied easily and has kept everything very cool. It seems to be at least as good as the Arctic Silver compound and has the added benefit of being non-conductive, so there's no chance of creating a short if a little of it gets on another component. - Thermal'

Power Supply - uninterrupted power supplies, cyberpower
I've had my Cyberpower 1350 for almost a year now and it has worked well switching to backup power dozens of times. I have a large desktop with two raptor HD's and two standard HD's, an IBM 19" CRT monitor, a Viewsonic 22" LCD monitor, a Canon 9000Pro printer, canon 8400F scanner and several other small periferals that have never blinked an eye during power outages. My only concern is that when the UPS is powering the system you can smell a slight 'electronic' odor from the unit as the internal fan always kicks on high while in backup mode. I doubt it is a problem as it continues to work over and over. I love the display. I use a little under 300 watts continuous and I figure it is much better to have a UPS too big so that it won't have a hard time powering the system and of course it will last longer in case you really need to get something finished. I had an older cyberpower unit for nearly six years before the batteries died, and it also did a great job, so considering my computer is on 10 to 16 hours a day I think Cyberpower deserved my repeat business. CyberPower CP1350AVRLCD Intelligent LCD Green UPS - 1350VA/810W AVR 8-Outlet RJ11/45/Coax
I've owned one of these for over a month now. I use it with my computer, and overall, I've been very satisfied with it. It has already proven itself, as we've lost power a few times already, and this kept my computer running without a problem. I can't think of any bad things to say about it.
Pros:
- This UPS handles up to 810 watts, which is more than enough for the average computer.
- It's thin, allowing it to fit in cramped spaces. I have it sitting right next to my computer tower.
- The USB connection gives computers the ability to automatically shut down when AC power fails.
- The software works with 64-bit versions of Windows (I'm using Windows XP x64). Windows XP recognizes this UPS as a battery, as if I were using a laptop.
- The LCD display is handy - It shows statistics such as power load and battery life. This is a nice feature if you don't plan on using the UPS with a computer.
Other Thoughts:
I have my computer tower, monitor, speakers, and my modem & router plugged into this UPS, and they all keep on running when power goes out. With everything turned on, the software says I'm only drawing 186-194 watts. When I'm playing a game on my computer, the power consumption can sometimes jump up to 210 watts - still fairly low. My computer has a 350-watt power supply.
I bought two of these, one for my home computer/network, and one for my home theater system. I'm not using the software for either. I especially like the dosplay on the front. Recently during hurricane Ike, I used them to power a small TV for hours. Seem to hold plenty of juice.
I picked this up as a replacement for an old Eaton PowerWare 5115 750VA that was terribly annoying when on battery. ESPECIALLY when hooked to generator power (More on this in a minute). Plus, I power my whole office(I'm talking EVERYTHING, TV, fish tank, printer, computer, Directv DVR, etc) via UPS(es) and this one was starting to show it's lack of available wattage, so off I went looking for a replacement.
I bought both this unit and the APC Back-UPS XS 1500 LCD (which I have also reviewed), with the intention of keeping the best one and returning the one that's lacking. Needless to say, I now have 3 UPS(es). The old Eaton, the new Cyberware and the new APC. I couldn't decide between the Cyberpower and APC, so I kept both.
Now, which one is powering the Computer/HT/Office setup is a different story. Long story short, the APC powers my desk(computer, 32" LCD, router, cable modem, 3 ext. hard drives, bluray player, DirecTV dvr, HP OJ 8500 Pro). The Cyberpower powers my fish tank setup(filter, heater and florescent light), and 2 low-watt lights. And the old Eaton powers 2 more low watt lights, and a bunch of other misc stuff(electric candle air freshener, Makita battery charger, etc).
My reasons for making the APC the "king of my desk", in lieu of the Cyberpower, might be pretty petty to some, but they make a difference to me.
----First a foremost is the APC's ability to manually adjust it's sensitivity to line noise, as well as it's switchover-to-battery threshold. This is important to me, as I have a 3500 watt backup generator that while it's actually pretty stable for a non-inverter type, it still has a tendency to fluctuate, causing the Cyberpower to "click" every couple of minutes. This is not only annoying, but it could end up depleting its battery, causing power cycling to the connected equipment and causing possible damage. The APC just hums along without a care in the world. And this is even on "medium" sensitivity.
On the same topic, I realize that some UPS's take issue with the modified sign waves "inverter generators" produce, but I am happy to report both UPSes work 100% fine with my smaller, 1000 watt inverter generator without any battery switchover, as well.
----And second, I know some are going to chuckle when I say this as it's petty, but I want the LCD to stay on all the time. The APC lets you set this, the Cyberpower doesnt. Again, this is just personal preference.
Other than the two negatives above, this is a great UPS! I had a 230-250 watt load on it and it was telling me I had 18 minutes of runtime, which is MORE than enough to go out and start the genny. With just the fish tank, lights and charger on it, I now have 87 minutes of runtime showing on the LCD. Which, I might note, I had to get up, go across the room and hit the button to see. I also compared the wattage on the LCD with an actual watt meter and it's showing a 9 watt difference. I'm sure this is due to the UPS overhead itself, as it takes a bit of power to run the LCD and monitor/correct line voltage. Also worth noting, is the Power Panel software. This is a simple piece of software that just works. And works great. No hassles, no cryptic messages, everything laid out in plain English. You can even schedule times you want to power down/power up your equipment in an attempt to be more "green", which the APC PowerChute software does not.
All in all, unless you have a generator, or prefer a full-time LCD display, I highly recommend this unit. - Computer Power Backup - Cyberpower - Ups - Uninterrupted Power Supplies'

Car Accessories - car accessories, cd organizer
I do like this in my Toyota Tacoma. However, the CD's fit loosly (maybe for easy access to them?) and if it was not for my visor being contoured into a defined spot in the headliner the CD' would go flying out on a turn to the left. If my visor is down it does happen, can damage the falling CD's, and could cause an accident if you tried to catch them in a turn. It looks nice and fits the visor well. The zippered pocket is useless for me but maybe not for others. Good price. Case Logic AV-12 12 Black Capacity CD Visor
If you want an inexpensive, yet functional CD holder, this is it. I bought it for my wife for her new car. She loves it, put it in her SUV 5 minutes after I gave it to her. Very good move on my part.
I bought this on October 20, 2010 so I've only had this product for just about seven months. Half of the slots, if not more, are now stretched out and the CD's fall out whenever I take a turn. I only put one CD in each slot so I really don't know why they stretched out. It's just a piece of crap and not worth the money even though it was less than $10.
We got this case for my father-in-law, who is in a nursing home. He suffers from dementia, and often the simple tasks are just too confusing for him. CD jewel cases? Out of the question. Then we found this case, and decided to try it out by hanging it vertically on the wall next to his tabletop CD player. Then we crossed our fingers. But we were correct: without the bothersome "jewel cases" to handle, he is able to get the CDs from case to player without too much trouble. This has resolved a huge "frustration problem" for all concerned.
Oh, we know this is not the original purpose of the case, but it could not be better for him. If he wants more than the dozen CDs, we'll simply add a second one to his "wall-mounted stash."
Makes him happier, and with only a few years left of his life, it eases the burden of elder care for us, as well. Good product!
I bought this organizer to corral my kids c.d.'s in the car. However, this one wasn't big enough to stretch over the visor in my SUV. I am just throwing it in the driver's side door compartment instead. Not quite as convenient to use, but it works fine.
Bought this for my sister for her birthday. Has worked really well. Durable, not too bulky on the visor thing (people dont bump into it or anything) and holds a good number of CDs for easy access while driving. great product! - Car Accessories - Cd Organizer'

Huggies Wipes - wipes, baby wipes
We tried a few different brands of baby wipes when our twin girls were born. First we tried the Johnson and Johnson brand (they were dry and paper thin), then Pampers (they stink), and then we tried Huggies - and we only buy Huggies now.
The Huggies wipes are fabulous. We cloth diaper our girls, so we need a thick wipe to get their bottoms clean, and these have never let us down. Not once has a wipe given out on me - they are super thick, great size, and our girls have never had any rash or irritation from these wipes. These wipes smell SO good - not too "baby", just refreshing and clean. The zip-bag packaging is great for refills, and keeps the wipes moist until the last one is gone, and it's greener than dozens of plastic tubs!
These wipes are the best we've found, and we will continue to purchase them. The Cucumber scent wipe that Huggies makes are also thick & moist, but we prefer the Shea Butter smell.
This is a very good product, but what's going on with the amazon price. I am a big fan of Amazon, but this time I am not happy. I ordered the wipes thi morning, trusting amazon to always have the best prices. I then checked other sites, even babies' r'us, that is usually very pricey has them for half the price. Two hours later they won't let me cancel. You can check it out yourself, you're better off buying it at your local grocery store.
These smell pleasant enough without a real strong smell, and on auto delivery with amazon they are a reasonable buy. It is also a plus that I don't have to worry about running out. Amazon has super speady shipping!
I usually use Pampers Sensitive Thick wipes, but running low, I got these until my next Amazon shipment came in. I thought they would be a decent substitution. I was so very wrong. First, Pampers seals their wipes in small refill size packages within the larger package. This way, you just open what you need and the rest doesn't risk drying out. Huggies does not do this. All the wipes are in one package. Therefore, one corner gets snagged or you don't close it COMPLETELY and these dry out. Second, instead of individual wipes being folded to pop up the next one, these are all in a row and perforated. I have never been able to tear just one off without using both hands. Third, they don't pop up in my wipe dispenser. You get one out and you have to dig to get the next one. Again, not handy when changing a squirmy baby. I can't believe I have more complaints, but I do....they leave lint, there is a weird greasy film left after using them, they've caused rashes and they tear.
Huggies has the best wipes, BY FAR! I am not a fan of their diapers...but the wipes are the strongest and thickest. My fav is the "softskin" scent. Worth the money and thanks to Amazon Mom for the cheaper prices!
I chose these wipes after reading positive reviews, but I am disappointed with the overall quality. They shred with every use. I've used them in Huggies re-fillable containers as well as my wipe warmer and in both cases, they do not consistently pop up. I'm often opening the containers to dig out the next wipe. And the scent is a little too strong for my liking. I will not purchase these wipes again.
I have tried store brand wipes and Pampers Wipes, but I always end up coming back to Huggies. They are thick enough without having to pay more for "Thick" wipes and they have just the right amount of moisture. - Refills - Baby Wipes - Wipes - Sensitive Skin'

Deck Screws
I used the Kreg deck jig to build a custom 2-story deck with composite deck boards. One bit has lasted three boxes so far and still going strong. I need another four boxes to re-deck my front porch and won't hesitate to use the screws or the Kreg Jig. I would definitely recommend for a clean look. My only suggestion is you have a separate drill/driver for the drill bit and driver bit to speed up the process. KREG SDK-C2W-700 2-Inch, #8 Coarse, Deck Screw, 700 Ct
I bought these to go with the Deck Jig but sent everything back. I've been building custom homes for 30 years and I think the Jig is a great idea, but the execution in my case didn't work out. I was going to use it to install 1x6 Ipe decking (600sf)but when I tried the jig, it would occasionally leave partial half circle holes on the top edge of the board where the bit was drilling for the angled hole. I ended up face screwing and plugging the deck. Looks nice, but a lot of work.
Used these on fresh (Still wet) treated decking lumber for a new deck I'm building. I had zero heads strip out. The bit that comes with the screws to my surprise lasted through all 700 screws. My only complaint was the length of the bit (its like 6 Inches long). Buying a second box now. Oh! and there 10 dollars less then Home Depot and Lowes.
The real review I suppose is for the whole Deck Jig system. Very nice look with the tan colored screw and our southern pine decking. There is usually a little bit of residual wood left around the hole after pre-drilling the hole, but it can be brushed away or sanded and the finished decking as a whole looks very sharp. A bit time consuming, but no longer than making a mortise and installing another type of hidden fastener I don't think.
Overall, I would recommended it.
We finished a 15X16 upper deck, and 12X12 lower deck with two 700 count boxes of screws and just have a few to spare, so that might give you an idea of how much it can cover. We used 5/4" X 5 1/2" decking with 1/4" gap.
Screws are fine. Work well. A bit small on the head size. Bit supplied is way too long. Three boxes were sent to me in a very large box with plastic air pockets for padding. All three containers of screws were broke open, screws loose in box, one of the driver bits missing and who knows how many screws fell through the hole in corner of box along the shipping route. Shipper could have put a bit of tape on the lid to hold it in place during shipping. Little handles on square containers were even broke off and loose.'

Cell Phone Charger - battery charger, cell phone charger
This little gadget is a very cool idea, but unfortunately it seems to trigger a fault protection if a cell phone tries to draw close to (or more) than 5V/0.5A out of it. I tried a bunch of different HTC phones and this little device seems unable to feed any juice into it. On the flip side, all bluetooth headsets I tried charge fine.
Also this thing only works with real batteries - it refuses to turn on if one feeds it NiMH rechargeables. Tried with Sony CycleEnergy, Sanyo Eneloop, Duracell rechargeables. It only wants real alkaline batteries. That's a pitty, since NiMH batteries have a lot more juice to feed into a gadget... Duracell 852-0217 MyPocket Charger for Cell Phones
I use this to charge my BlackBerry on the go if I don't have any other options available to me -- it works very well, and you can store batteries in the device without worrying about killing them - just leave the cables unplugged. I wasn't excited about having both the mini and micro USB cables, but now that more devices are standardizing on the micro USB, I'm glad that I have it!
Do not buy this product. The light indicating that the charger is working only comes up about 10% of the time. When I am lucky enough that they light comes on and stays on, as soon as I connect the other end to my phone or MP3 player, the light immediately goes off. 2 HUGE, COMPLETELY UNRELATED PROBLEMS! The sign of a truly bad product. Save you're money and buy something you know will work well, like an extra battery.
I use this to keep my Garmin Forerunner 305 charged during events lastin longer than 9-10 hours. Lasted 54 hours at a temperature of -35f with 2 battery changes. Blue light goes out when the AA batteries die and need changing. What a great find.
I found this item at a warehouse club during Christmas and thought it would make great a stocking stuffer, so I bought several of them. The club store version includes both tiny connectors for the iPod and Blackberry (mini USB.)
I was eager to test this charger and had an excellent opportunity since my Blackberry was nearly dead. Upon inserted two AA batteries and connecting it to my Blackberry (Bold), the indicator light turned green and the unit became warm. It ran for about 15 minutes and then turned off. I thought it was defective since it only added one bar to the battery meter on my phone and turned off so quickly. I removed and reinserted the plug and the green light quickly turned on and then immediately off. Believing the batteries might be defective, I inserted an additional 2 cells nnd the process repeated itself, while adding another bar to my phonne. Thinking the unit was defective, I opened another new unit and tested it again with the same results.
I'm was surprised by the small amount of power generated by two AA cells, and using such a method for even emergency charging would likely take 8-10 batteries for a full charge. I tossed this unit and bought the Duracell USB Charger DR7000LI, which contains a sealed lithium ion battery and functions the same. The difference a lithium ion battery makes is remarkeable.
While this unit might charge small electonics like iPod (about 75% charge from 2 AA cells,) I cannot recommend this product, particularly if your intended use is to charge a Blackberry device.
In a cynical attempt to get you to buy their alkaline batteries, Duracell has made this product so that it won't work with rechargeable batteries. In this day and age, for economic and environmental reasons, that is deplorable.
This unit seems to have been tuned work only with disposable batteries and that is very disappointing. From what little I know of the technology being used here, it is pretty easy to find a DC-DC inverter that will accept 1.25V in as well as 1.5V and still put out 5V. It looks like a deliberate attempt on Duracell's part to sell more alkalines. Boo, hiss.
I bought this cell charger because I saw a news article about students sending camera's up into the stratosphere with GPS phones attached. The charger was attached to a boost mobile phone and using energizer lithium batteries kept the phone charged the entire 3 hour trip even in the cold temperatures.
I am really stoked with this product! I purchased it as a backup charger for my cell phone to use during power outages.
I researched many of these type of items and was a little apprehensive about it. But, there was no need to be! It arrived and I followed the incredibly easy and fast instructions (put in the 2 AA batteries that are provided!) and then use either the Ipod cable to charge the Ipod or use the cell phone cable (BOTH cables are provided!) to charge the cell phone. That's it! As advertised! It is fantastic! It seemed to bring up the Ipod to 100% pretty quickly although the Ipod was not completely drained. The cable provided for the cell phone is the mini port, not the micro - I don't know if you can purchase the micro cables and use it with this product - it has a DC out 5V opening for the charger (it's a small circle) and then the other side of the cable fits either the cell phone or the Ipod, depending on which cable you are using... The only thing I did think about once I got it was that you can't charge them both at the same time since the charger only has the one hole... but I don't really think that will be too much of a problem.
I was going to use generic AA batteries in it, but the instructions say to use only Duracell (makes sense!) so I will follow the instructions.. I am very happy with the product and will keep it in mind for gifts!! Fantastic price for such an awesome item!! - Cell Phone Charger - Battery Charger'

Ac-dc Converter - gps system accessories, garmin ac charger
The AC/DC Converter coverts 110-240V AC to 12V DC 1.0 A. The Nuvi 885t's MSN Direct cigarette lighter charger/receiver fits snugly and in addition to charging the unit also allows access to the MSN Direct network outside the car. One can complete all trip planning, including information from the MSN Direct network, on the Nuvi before you get into the car. Garmin AC/DC to Vehicle Power Adapter
This is a simple, sturdy, lightweight product that does exactly what it promises - you can plug any Garmin Nuvi GPS system's cigarette lighter plug into this and then plug this into the wall - so you can charge your Nuvi anywhere you have access to AC.
Nice!
I tried buying a cheaper (non-Garmin) wall plug-in cigarette lighter adapter and my nuvi 880 would constantly cycle on and off, with the voice saying things like "Battery power low." -- really annoying. When I saw this item made by Garmin, I bought it. I am really glad that I did. When plugged into this adapter my nuvi charges great, on or off, without any annoying cycling or voice messages. For folks with the MSN Live feature on the GPS, the only way the unit will stay current with the info is if it stays plugged into the cigarette lighter cord, which houses the MSN receiver, and the cigarette lighter cord has power. Since I work from home, and am not usually driving during the week, this was a problem for me. Now I keep my nuvi attached to my dining room window and plugged into this adapter and I have constant MSN updates when I need to use it. For instance, Gas prices don't do you much good if they are several days old.
I purchased a Garmin nuvi 5000 model when it was on a closeout price. I didn't do my research and I didn't know that the 5000 doesn't have an internal battery. Therefore, you cannot even turn on the unit and play around with it unless it is hooked up via the cigarette-lighter adapter cable. (The USB cable only allows connection to computer for file transfer)
I am accustomed to my first Garmin unit,a nuvi 760, which had an internal battery.
I found this AC/DC converter that utilizes the cigarette-lighter cable connection and it works great. Now I can setup and adjust my Garmin 5000 at home and away from the car. The cost of this product could have been cheaper but I realize that accessories are a cash cow.
It works as expected and its orientation to the side doesn't take up all the space on outlets.
Purchased this because the cigarette lighter outlet in our car no longer works. I was purchasing a Garmin GPS for my husband for Christmas and the only charger available is the DC plug (cigarette lighter). I purchased this adapter and it works perfectly as described.
Very happy with Amazon and Garmin AC/DC converter. I use it with my Garmin nuvi885T GPS. I just plug the system into the converter and able to use the GPS with the MSN Direct DC cable. That works better for me than purchasing another power cable. - Gps System Accessories - Garmin Nuvi - Garmin Ac Charger - Gps'

Works very well. No problems in the 3 weeks we have used it. My one small complaint is that the cord between the brick and the computer is just a little too short for the brick to rest comfortably on the floor with the laptop on a table. Otherwise works great. A recommend this power cord as a good buy.
This charger is a piece of JUNK! I purchased this charger and it was delivered January 9, 2010. Today is the 25th and it is already falling apart, and only working part of the time. The part that inserts into the computer is so flimsy that it bends if you barely apply any pressure...with one finger! Also, every time you plug it into the wall, it lets off a little shock. That can't be a good thing. I'm now having to purchase ANOTHER charger (though it won't be this one) b/c this one is junk. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Spend a little more now, rather than buying this cheap thing and spending a little more later.
These cords work for one week if your lucky then you have to constantly jiggle them to get them to charge. Or unplug plug back in the jiggle and if you move it at all it stops charging. I have went through about 4 this year just because I keep doing the jiggle thing or would def have gone through more, I do not know why I keep buying them. My cord that came with my HP lasted over 2 years. Def never gonna order this one again. UGH very frustrating.
The design of this product is exactly like the one that came with the laptop. It is not sturdry enough to take the weight of the cord and therefore it breaks inside the female end and renders it useless.
I suggest to anyone who needs a replacement to go to Wal Mart and buy theHP repelacement adapter. It costs $69.97 but it is a much better design. Going cheap did not work for me .
I bought this charger for my Compaq laptop after I lost my factory one. It's a great deal for the price, but the box gets REALLY hot... to the point where I don't keep it plugged in overnight. The cord could be a bit longer, too. - Laptop Charger - Ac Adapters - Compaq Ac Adapter - Computer Accessories'

Computer Cables - audio cables, cables to go
... for transferring recordings from cassette tape to PC. One end goes in the headphone jack of a cassette player and the other goes into the microphone jack of the PC. I use it with free, open source software (Audacity) to edit and save old tape recordings to disc. Cables To Go - 27412 - 12ft 3.5mm Stereo Audio Cable M/M PC-99 (Beige)
You'll need these if you want to transfer the laptop's sound to your LCD TV. I use these with 10ft Pro Series HD15 M/M SVGA Monitor Cable.
Like I write in the title I use this from my laptop to 32" LCD TV! Only reason to do so is to play Netflix instant movies from the "net" without having to watch them on the laptop's 15" screen! At 12' I can pretty much place the laptop anywhere I choose.
You could just as easily do the same thing with your desktop PC to your LCD TV, so long as you have the connectors match up.
Lastly, it is a way to use your TV as a monitor, whether or not you play movies
Great quality stereo cable. Mine really did measure at 12 feet. The jacks feel secure, and the molding around the jacks seems like every other quality cable - no junk here.
Oddly enough, the beige coloring matches the off white walls better. Didn't think i would be into the color, but it works.
No complaints.
These audio cables are a great value. Because of these cables, I can now hear sound on my favorite TV shows on various internet websites on my HDTV while using it's stereo speakers. I'm looking very closely at these cable and I can tell these were manufactured with quality in mind. So if you are in the market for 3.5mm stereo audio and at the same time save money, you need not look further, just buy these and you won't regret it.
I bought this back on February ninth and received it shortly thereafter. I've been using it to attach my laptop to my 42" HDTV mostly to watch tv programs that I can view on the web (the office, etc) and the sound quality transfer has been excellent.
Given the thinness of the wire, I recommend twining it carefully and keeping it in a safe storage place when not using it. Otherwise its a fine and inexpensive buy. - Cables To Go - Audio Cables - Cable - Audio'

Midi Keyboard - usb, cable
I bought a cheap yamaha keyboard about 6 years ago. It had the option of midi connection with computers, but at the time Yamaha wanted like half the price of the keyboard for the connecting cord! So I didn't get it. Now I was looking at this and the price is such a steal in comparison I thought I would try it. It worked! I have a piano program, and the cord connects to both my Vista computer and my XP computer without trouble -- just plug it in. Remember to plug the "In" into the "Out" and vise versa. It comes with instructions specially says to do that, and I messed up anyway. Silly me.
Good deal, I recommend it. But do remember that you need a piano program to make things happen, the same way you need a word processing program or something before you can type something on the computer with a normal typing keyboard. You can find freeware piano keyboard software such as Anvil Studio on the internet. USB MIDI Cable Converter PC to Music Keyboard Window Win Vista XP, Mac OS
I've tested this MIDI-to-USB cable under OS X (CoreMIDI) and Linux (JACK) with a Casio keyboard and a Yamaha digital piano. Everything works without problems. And the price point is remarkable! Most of these adapters seem to cost around $40-50, so this is quite a deal.
And yes, you need to plug the end that says "MIDI Out" into your "MIDI In" socket on your keyboard, but that's how it always is with MIDI...
I hate leaving reviews claiming something's "broken", but in this case there were some serious problems. So my problems:
1. The device does not handle run-on MIDI commands properly. I doubt that many modern MIDI devices use run-on commands, as they were a somewhat confusing bit-saving mechanism from the 20th century. The keyboard I used was a Kurzweil SP-88. I suspect this is a design-defect in the product. More on this below.
2. The device would not enumerate on my main PC. That box is a custom-built machine using a P5B Deluxe motherboard which has never had any problems with any other USB devices. I even tried clocking the box down to normal speeds; Vista gives me a vague error about the device malfunctioning, and Ubuntu gives me a read error during enumeration in dmesg (which, to be fair, wasn't any more useful in this context.)
3. For all the reviewers who said the cable was labeled backwards: MIDI cables are always connected so that the "OUT" of one device goes to the "IN" of another device. MIDI supports a ring-shaped daisy-chain of devices that way. This cable was not labeled backwards.
Elaborating on point 1:
On the wrong equipment, when you do this:
1. Press-and-hold key1.
2. Press-and-hold key2.
3. Release key1.
4. Release key2.
You get this:
1. Press-and-hold key1.
2. Press-and-hold key2.
3. Release key1.
4. Press-and-hold key2 again.
For those technically inclined, here's the data stream from my SP-88 using the old serial cable I was replacing (I had to resurrect a dead machine to get this; I'm forging note velocities for easier comparison):
90 40 45 3c 48 80 40 62 3c 61
Here's what this product read:
90 40 45 90 3c 48 80 40 62 90 3c 61
Here's the nearest valid sequence it could have provided:
90 40 45 90 3c 48 80 40 62 80 3c 61
Note the 80 instead of 90 in the third-to-last byte - "80" means "note off", "90" means "note on". This was a deal-killer for me; your mileage may vary.
I replaced the cable with an M-Audio cable from a local shop for 3x the price; that cable also reprocesses run-on commands, but does it appropriately (the third sequence above is what I would get.)
The seller was courteous and provided a full refund, including shipping, so all I lost to them was time. I'd buy from these guys again, just not this product.
Amazon has this generic web page for MIDI cables. It appears as if it is only for one product but is it not. It lumps a similar, but not identical, product , with the same price and shipping options but from DIFFERENT VENDORS/MANUFACTURERS. Buyer beware, they are not all the same!
Some cables work great, others are garbage, and they look similar. It all depends on the vendor. I found this merely by chance and I think it explains the extreme and polarized reviews in here. If you choose the different vendors the reviews are the same for all of them, in other words people have unknowingly been writing reviews for similar but different products in the same web page.
Amazon, how can you do this?!!
I bought the cable from HDE and it works great in both my Mac under OSX and a PC laptop under XP. No lags or anything wrong with my piano teaching program and a Yamaha keyboard. Then, I needed another cable and came back to the same page to order using "add to cart". I received one that had a different package, and although it looked similar, was not identical. When plugged in my Mac it had a horrible lag, skipped notes; basically matching various negative reviews by others. Only then I checked my order form and noticed it was from a different vendor: "Sound around", even though I thought I was ordering the same product!
Bottom line, if you come to this page, Amazon appears to select randomly the vendor assigned to the "add to cart button". To get what you want you need to select from the list of vendors in the "More buying choices" menu right below "add to cart". Notice that more than one vendor is fulfilled directly by Amazon and offers the same price, free super saver, etc. I will be promptly returning the one from Sound Around, and already ordered from HDE. The cable that looks like this is the one that worked for me (I have no affiliation!): USB MIDI Cable Converter PC to Music Keyboard Window Win Vista XP, Mac OS. Hope this helps someone. - Cable - Midi Keyboard - Midi - Usb'

Menopause Relief - pms, progesterone cream
I started taking Balanced Woman about 5 years ago for really bad cramps which began 15-years ago after I had my tubes tied. The cramps never came back after the 2nd month using the product. Now, I'm in the early stages of menopause and learned by doing a half dose in the morning and a half dose at night it takes care of those AWFUL and SCARY bouts of rapid heart beating. Love it.Balanced Woman: All Natural Menopause and PMS Relief, USP Pharmaceutical Grade Progesterone Cream, 2oz - 1 Month Supply
Can't believe I am seeing this product on Amazon. Had used it for years and it was originally developed to the specifications of Dr. John Lee so felt confident to use it. Also loved the non contaminating pump delivery system. So easy to use and such a blessing. It was instrumental in my avoiding the negative menopausal symptoms that most women struggle with plus helped several friends with their PMS symptoms and desire to conceive. Highly suggest anyone interested read Dr. John Lee's last book....What Your Dr. May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer, co-written by Dr. David Zava. You carry this book and I believe it is a must read for Women!!!!! Thanks for this!!!!
Being a breast cancer survivor, I had done extensive research to avoid negative menopausal symptoms and found that I needed to stay away from all estrogen based products. I discovered Dr. John Lee and Dr. David Zava's books. In Dr. Lee's book, "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause", he listed several reputable companies who offered the most effective pharmaceutical grade progesterone creams. I tried a few, and settled on Balanced Woman because of it's pump delivery system, which maintains the integrity of the product during usage. Thank you Pure Health Trends for a relaiable product! It has been a blessing to me and my health for the past 15 years.
I am so glad to see Balanced Woman on Amazon. It deserves to get the exposure it will receive on Amazon.
I have been using this formula for over a decade. I first started using it for cramps and PMS. Now I have went through menopause without a hot flash, mood swing or night sweat. I attribute it to the consistent use of Balanced Woman. I have a friend who has tried other progesterone creams but she always comes back to Balanced Woman.
I've been using this for quite a while and never realised it was on Amazon until today which makes it cheaper for me!
Definitely a product to recommend as previously I was prone to moodswings and cramps especially and I just never get them at all anymore, so its been truly outstanding for me.
I think I would prefer it to have a fragrance to it but that is a minor niggle as I can apply my own scent anyhow.
If you are looking for a natural answer then 'balanced woman' is the only option to consider in my opinion.
A couple of years ago, I read "Dr. John Lee's Hormone Balance Made Simple" and found it to be an incredible, and reliable resource. Going on my experience with his book, I bought this product feeling confident it was created by someone who really understood hormone imbalance and wasn't just trying to cash in on women's discomfort.
Because most of the ingredients in this product are natural, when I apply it, I feel a soothing sensation. This is a big plus for me because, in the past, I've used other products that either stung or burned my skin.
But most importantly, I kept a journal of how I was feeling for the past three months that I have used this product. Looking back, I can say that my PMS symptoms have dramatically decreased. Yes, changing up one's diet and exercising more helps a great deal, but for me personally, no matter how much I lived a healthy life, every month, my PMS was still very intense. This cream made my cramps disappear, lessened bloating, and for the first time in a really long time, I didn't find myself getting as upset and agitated as easily as I do when I have PMS. Using this cream left me feeling normal rather than feeling like I was weathering a brutal five-day storm of emotions and physical pain.
While I know I still have to keep up with my good eating and exercise habits, I really do feel as though this cream is such a benefit and has made my life much easier.
Unfortunately for me, I like instant results which is probably not too realistic. After 2 months I'm happy that all my menopause symptoms are almost gone. I've spent a fortune trying to find a natural product that actually works and this one seems to fit the bill.
I had suffered with menstrual cramps for years and was so thankful that I chose to try a natural product after so many traditional therapies had fallen short. I found the progesterone cream in Balanced Woman very easy to use and loved the fact that it contains the antioxidant Activin.
While I loved the natural ingredients, I really loved saying goodbye to my cramps! No more sleepless nights suffering cramps, heating pads, missed social events, or disagreeable attitudes from me because all of the reasons listed above! Something else I really liked was the money back guarantee. In the beginning, that really set my mind at ease and helped me make the decision to finally try it. I highly recommend this product to women who were like me, suffering cramps every month, and frustrated. This product made me feel better and cramp free! - Hormones - Menopause Relief - Progesterone Cream - Pms'

Wifi Printer - multifunction printer, all in one printer
I would like to give the Canon Pixma mg8120 and solid 5-star rating for the photo printing alone. I just got this printer yesterday. It was on sale for [...] with free shipping. What a deal!
The set-up was well-documented and easy. The only glitch I ran into was an error message on the LCD display that said the "inner door" was open and I needed to close it. It took me several minutes of messing around to bumble into this thingy inside that I pulled down and then pulled back up--a lever of some sort. That was the "inner door" and that fixed the problem. Someone else asked what the inner door was for. I'm asking the same question. It's not a big deal and I'm not complaining. I just included this experience in case someone else runs into the same glitch. Don't panic. It's fixable.
The machine is solid and quiet and not as heavy as I thought it was going to be. And it is beautiful. Not that I care. But it's a nice perk. My HP 6988 shakes all over the place when it prints, but I thought it was pretty quiet until I got the Canon, which hums along very pleasingly and steadily.
I'm an artist and I make prints and cards from my original paintings. I'm fussy beyond the telling. I want my collectors to have the best quality artwork. Even my Canon Pixma Pro 9500 MkII cannot print on simple card stock like this printer can. The images are just gorgeous. I haven't tested it with fine art paper yet, but that's not as big a test as doing bright, accurate, detailed images on plain ol' card stock. Beautiful.
The document quality is so-so. I wanted to be totally in love with the Canon 8120, I was so excited to get it. But all my HP's have printed text that is sharper and blacker at every setting. The HIGH setting on the Canon prints nicely, although just a tad less sharp than the HP. And who wants to spend a fortune on ink by printing at the highest setting all the time? However the duplex feature works very well. On the HP the duplexer is attached at the back and this is the second HP on which the duplexer shakes loose during printing, causing paper jams if you don't snap it back in.
The scanner is okay. It did a respectable job on some dusty old slides. In fact it provided very good resolution, which I punched up in Photoshop. However in copying and scanning regular photos or artwork, it looses detail and the colors are not as accurate as I would like. To be fair, I need to practice with it and learn what tweaks will get the best results. I think my Epson 4180 does a better job, but we'll see with time. I'm still glad to have a nice scanner with the printer. And please keep in mind that I want copies and scans of my artwork to be PERFECT! So, for most purposes the scanner is good enough.
All in all, I really like this machine. It's worth what I paid for it for it's photo printing alone. But honestly, I would not have been pleased to pay the full list price considering the not-so-perfect text quality in standard mode. I will continue to use my HP for printing documents. As for the scanner, it is pretty nice. I think I just need to learn to use it better. And as I tweak things in Photoshop all the time, that isn't a problem for me. Canon PIXMA MG8120 Wireless Inkjet Photo All-In-One Printer (4504B002)
PROS: The print quality is great both for photos and normal paper documents. It prints very fast and I like the duplex printing. The scanner is also excellent. The scanned images are absolutely incredible in detail and color. And it scans fast. Installation was very easy and so far I haven't had any problems with wireless printing. Works every time.
CONS: I can only think of one right now. This printer drinks ink like there's no tomorrow. I don't really print that much (since I bought this printer maybe 150 pages and about 5 photos) and the cartridges are almost empty. Now I have to admit the cartridges are very small and not so pricey. So time will tell if the cost for ink is higher than normal or not. I think it'll take a year before I can actually judge this by comparing how much I paid for ink per year before and how much I'm paying now.
SUMMARY: I love this printer, it works flawlessly and delivers excellent print and scan quality. But ink consumption seems very high.
I loved the scan features for photos and slides, also the print quality of the ink. However, it appears that 30 copies of black and white word documents eat up the ink. At the cost of close to $100 to replace all the cartriges this printer is not economical at all. I have looked into bulk ink but cannot find the where tos or how tos. If Cannon wants to sell this kind of quality printer then they need to make the ink economical and last thru at least a ream of paper.
I've owned a lot of printers in the past only to have them not meet expectations and/or printer driver become obsolete within a year. I do a lot of research before I make a purchase, to include professional reviews and ultimately consumer reviews. I have used this printer now for almost a month and have been impressed with ease of use and yesterday was awed by the photo print quality of a picture I took with my new Canon Rebel SLR camera. It was better or as good as done in a store. I only printed one, so not sure how much ink this printer would use if I printed my normal quota. However, I did not buy it for printing photos, but wanted a wireless 3-in-1 which included ability to scan negatives. I have used all functions associated with the printer and each one has met my expectations. The wireless setup was easy, scanning documents and printing also went smoothly. Impressed with speed of printing documents wirelessly...actually faster than previous attached printers I've owned!
Overall, I'm very impressed with this purchase and I would definitely buy a Canon in the future. I don't have any negative issues as of today, the only concern I would have is probably with the ink. Yes it does contain five separate ink cartridges with the theory that you would not have to purchase ink as often if you only have two. I'll have to update later if I'm buying ink, even though it may be only one or two of the five cartridges, at the same intervals as my previous printers. - All-in-one - All In One Printer - Multifunction Printer - Wireless Printer'
