Morgan Freeman - action, ben affleck

I watched this the other night, and can't believe how politically correct it is. The bad guys are Austrians, Isrealis, and, indirectly, the U.S. military-industrial complex. I wonder what Tom Clancy thinks about that. Muslims are just innocent bystanders, and the liberals save the day, because war is all just a misunderstanding, or is caused by European nazis. This movie is shameless political correctness. The film is actually excellent, but I give it only two stars for the tired leftwing cliches. If they had filmed it based on Clancy's novel, it would have been great. I think Hollywood just copped out and got scared of portraying the Muslims as "the enemy", and so did what they always do: just turn the bad guys into white nazis. South Africans are no longer available, so they went to the "default": Austrians (guys, World War II is over). The Sum of All Fears (Special Collector's Edition)

Deeply compromised adaptation of the Tom Clancy potboiler. Director Phil Alden Robinson and his cadre of screenwriters tippy-toe around, about, but never directly on, the subject of mass murder by terrorists. The immediate point of comparison to 9/11 in this film would be the small nuclear bomb that presumably obliterates the city of Baltimore, MD. I say "presumably" because we're of course not permitted to see the results of the devastation: Robinson & Co., by the use of very heavy editing, attempt to spare us from associating their fictional event to the real event that occurred a year ago. (Well, some windows are blown out, and a small, rather pretty computer-animated mushroom cloud is perceived for a split-second, indicating the city may not be completely wiped-out, after all.) Indeed, by film's end, it's as if the blast never occurred: in the last scene, Ben Affleck and his pretty wife are having lunch in the park. The End. One wonders why the film studio simply didn't scrap this whole project and eat the loss, if they were so fearful of the movie's subject-matter. Why go to the trouble of making a movie about a catastrophic event if you're not even going to play that event for dramatic value? Of course, the supreme irony is that the fearful filmmakers, who shot this movie before 9/11, changed the Muslim villains of Clancy's story to a cabal of Neo-Nazis, in order to avoid accusations of insensitivity from the Arab-American community. (If what I've heard is true. I've never read the book, myself. If the book doesn't feature Arab terrorists, I stand humbly corrected.) I give *The Sum of All Fears* a 2nd star primarily for the excellent supporting actors (Morgan Freeman, a delightfully smooth Liev Schreiber, James Cromwell, Philip Baker Hall, et al.), and for the overall professionalism of the direction . . . by which I mean that even if the story is implausible, the action sequences are not. However, Ben Affleck, filling the shoes of Harrison Ford as CIA agent Jack Ryan, is a massive liability. Not only is he a skunk at a garden party, in terms of comparison with the rest of the cast, but he makes one appreciate just how good his predecessor in the role really was.

. . .actually approved of what was done to his outstanding book. The changing of the "bad guys" from Islamic extremists to Neo-Nazis was unbelievable, and detracted from the message of the story to such a degree as to make the film, in the mind of this reviewer, not worth much at all.Call me a purist, but I really dislike this sort of revisionism.Read the book; give the movie a miss.

The challenge facing any screenwriter attempting to adapt a Clancy novel is what to cut from the massive tome to fit the two-hour film run-time limit that theater owners so desperately covet.

For instance, the huge scope of "Red October" was cut to the bone, but just deftly enough to be a decent film. The plots of the other two (Clancy books made into films) actually lent themselves well to film adaptation.

Also, in light of 9/11, a case could be made that "Sum" is Clancy's most terrifying and realistic novel, so great care should have been exercised in bringing this to the screen.

The cinematic result, however, is so hackneyed, so utterly ludicrous, that what was supposed to be high drama and suspense delivers nothing to the devoted Clancy fan but utter disappointment.

The film's first problem is the casting of Ben Affleck as Jack Ryan. Clancy's Jack Ryan is a CIA analyst, an intellectual who is always forced into reluctant action by circumstance.

Affleck's portrayal of Ryan is nothing but the same wide-eyed, slack-jawed, one-note performance that he has phoned-in on every film he's ever done. Wherever he delivers any line concerning analysis of data, people or scenarios, Affleck is totally unbelievable as Ryan.

At least Alec Baldwin, and especially Harrison Ford, correctly nailed the nuances of Ryan's character. But those guys are actors WITH chops, something Affleck is totally devoid of, and boy, is it obvious and ugly to watch.

The second problem is the concession (to the Islamic community in this country) that the producers made of shifting the book's main protagonists from Islamic terrorists to Neo-Nazis. In one scene, the Nazi Big Cheese (the always wonderful, but here, totally wasted Alan Bates) reflects that Hitler was stupid for taking on the Russians and Americans instead of getting them to destroy each other. He plans to do just this by detonating a nuclear bomb on U.S. soil, and an associated rogue military act, to goad the two countries to full nuclear war and then rule the world afterward.

In the book, the full-scale nuclear exchange scenario was not the design of the Islamic protagonist, but rather a horrifying extension of external circumstance surrounding the detonation of a terrorist's single atomic bomb. The film's revised premise is a terrible compromise that just makes no sense whatsoever: There wouldn't be much left to take over after a full nuke exchange between the U.S. and Russia.

The film's biggest problem, however, is the script, which heaps contrivance upon contrivance, going from bad to worse as the film progresses.

Examples: There is a jarring instant geographical shift of Ryan from the U.S. to a covert mission deep inside Russia with no explanation of how he got there; Ryan in downtown post-nuclear explosion Baltimore, clad in nothing but a sweater, with no apparent radiation/fallout after-effects; Ryan using the crashed helicopter radio that still functions after being EMP'd by the nuclear detonation (didn't the screenwriters do ANY research on the subject at all, or at least watch a "Broken Arrow" DVD?); Ryan utilizing his mentor's PDA (also exposed to the EMP but also still miraculously functioning) to communicate with the CIA's deepest mole inside the Kremlin (anybody at the CIA have a security problem with one of their own having a direct communication link to their highest level Russian source???!!!).

And here's one for you: Ryan is running thru post-blast downtown Baltimore because he's chasing the bad guys who installed the bomb: Why would those guys still be in Baltimore? To hang out and roast radioactive weenies? No, it's because the screenwriters needed to set up a ridiculous fight scene with the personal bodyguard of the Nazi Big Cheese, who A.) had never been shown in the U.S. prior to this scene, and more importantly B.), WHY WOULD HE BE THERE WHEN HE KNOWS THE BOMB IS GOING TO DETONATE??!!

And just when you think it's over, just when you thought it couldn't get any more ludicrous, the final scene is so silly that the writers should be locked up and never allowed near a Powerbook ever again.

The wonderful supporting cast are the only redeeming thing this vapid clunker has to offer (once again, the magnificent Morgan Freeman rises above terrible material).

Clancy himself is listed as exec producer of this croaker. Maybe not having enough cash to buy the Minnesota Vikings a few years ago was such a blow to his ego that he's willing to compromise the book he fashioned with such wondrous detail and imagination, just for the almighty buck.

Geez, Tom, your fans, and especially Jack Ryan, deserve a WHOLE lot better. - Morgan Freeman - Ben Affleck - Action - Jack Ryan'

Mac Compatible - keyboard, led keyboard

As others have pointed out, this keyboard is smaller than most, with less keys than typical PC keyboards have, however all of the most important keys are there. The backlighting is excellent, but you just about have to keep it constantly lit since it is almost impossible to tell what the keys are without it.

My only big complaint is the backspace key - it is a single key size rather than the double-width size that is standard on most keyboards, and it is placed right next to the "home" key...if you are a less than perfect typist like me and use the backspace key a lot, it is aggravating because you will find yourself hitting that home key all the time. That will send the cursor back to the beginning of the line you are on, requiring you to stop and use the "end" key (or worse, repeatedly hit the right arrow key) to get back to where you were. With practice, hopefully this will get better.

All in all, though, I am really pleased with the keyboard despite the minor complaints. I thought the price to benefit ratio was excellent and even if the keys wear off in a couple of years, it is cheap enough to just buy another. Noah Company W9868BK USB Backlit Blue LED Multimedia Keyboard (Piano Black)

I like this keyboard because it is smaller " 6 1/2 by 16 inches " than most other illuminated keyboards out there. This fits in nicely on my somewhat crowded desk. Most of the other keyboards are 3 to 4 inches larger. True the larger keyboards have more features and keys, but these are all the keys I personally need. All of the letter and number keys are full size, a couple of the other keys are not as large as a standard keyboard. This keyboard might be difficult for a experienced typist to get used too, but I am a 2 finger peck typist so no problem here. Check out my keyboard photo under customer images on the product page.

The keys light up nicely, they are very easy to read day or night. The problem is I have to leave the keyboard light on even during the day. It is extremely difficult to see the keys with the key lights off even in the daylight unless I have another light source on the keyboard. The letters are an off white with the light off. Buy the way the light on/off switch is the Scroll key, took me a while to figure that one out.

The more expensive keyboards have laser etched letters and numbers that never wear off. These keys are not laser etched and consequently will probably wear off with time. My last keyboard had similar keys and some partially wore off in under 2 years, and I don't type that much.

This is a very nice smaller illuminated keyboard for the price, if you can get by with the features or lack of features this keyboard has it's a good buy.

PS; I don't know where there dimensions came from on there description, but they are definitely wrong. It' 6 1/2 inch by 16 inches long exactly.

I just love this keyboard. I was wanting one that lit up because it is often kind of dark where our computer is, and I don't like turning on all of the lights to type just a few things in. This one does the job! I also really like that their are bright green lights for the caps lock and num lock--my last one didn't have any light. The only complaint I got from my daughter was that the back space button could be bigger, but this doesn't bother me. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

I've had it for a couple of months now and I really like it. I replaced a new dell multimedia keyboard with this one for two reasons:

1. This one is narrower and fits better in my desk keyboard drawer, giving my mouse more room.

2. It is very easy to see the keys, especially at night.

I bought a new dell desktop computer and a beautiful white keyboard came with it, but it was too wide and difficult to see the keys.

The only problem was getting used to the new key layouts and sizes for the enter, backspace, end, home and delete keys. I would prefer to have the backspace key larger than other keys but I've already adjusted.

This keyboard is actually plugged into a Trendnet KVM box allowing me to use one keyboard, mouse, monitor, speaker system with two computers. Trendnet uses the Scroll Lock key (two presses) to switch between computers and this keyboard also uses the Scroll Lock key (one press) to switch the backlight on and off. In spite of that I haven't had any problems, it works fine.

It seems very durable so far and a good value for the price.

Plug this into your computer, and at the touch of a button, you have the keys clearly backlit with a soft blue glow. If you want to work on your computer in the poor lighting and you can't touch-type things like numbers (or can't find the home keys in the dark), this will make using the computer much easier!

The back-lighting is a nice feature, but the keyboard is too compact with some keys moved around slightly from their standard locations making regular typing cumbersome and error prone. Skip this keyboard and look for a full sized equivalent.

this is my 3rd purchase of this item through amazon. 1st one for my sister's birthday. I was uncertain how that one would perform since the logitec was 60+bucks, but it had far exceeded expectations, was gorgeous blue & bright enough for day viewing. bought 2nd one for mom's husband as a gift. he loved it, and this one is for me. cant say enough about it. If you need an illuminated keyboard and have no issues with a smaller type keyboard, this is the one for you. and the keys are very clear with the blue glow. you will love the item....and the price.

The keyboard is very difficult to use because of the size. I was constantly typing the wrong thing. Would not recommend it. Loved the back-lit keys, but that feature alone was not enough to make it worth it. - Led Keyboard - Keyboard - Lighted Keyboard - Back Lit'

I was very much looking forward to receiving what I thought would be a comprehensive book of green smoothie recipes. Imagine my disappointment to find all of 30 pages of recipes in what amounts to a 226 page Blendtec blender informercial. Do I feel duped. There are two blenders on the market powerful enough to handle these types of smoothies on a regular basis. Both are described in the following Cooks Illustrated Review and are both up to the task of making these smoothies. I'm sure there are pros and cons to each. ([...]). This book, however, is little more than an informercial for one of the two blenders - the Blendtech Total Blender, while devoting a page to how terrible she considers the other blender (a Vita-Mix) to be. This author throws in the word Blendtech on page after page after page, sometimes throwing in Blendtech Total Blender just in case you forget the full name, singing its praises throughout, and even including a testimonial on the very last page that just happens to praise the Blendtech blender. I lost count of how many times she says Blendtech and stopped counting after a while. Oh, and she nonchalantly mentions that if you purchase the blender on the link through her website, you'll get a free gift. Does she get a commission from Blendtech if the blenders are purchased through her website, by any chance? I'd like to know. If you want to sell a book on green smoothies, fabulous, we can all use more greens in our diet. But if you're trying to hawk a product (in this case a blender) on the unwitting consumer, then have the decency to be upfront about it. I have never seen such egregious product placement ever, much less in a book. I just spent [...] on a 226 page commercial. Save your money. Green Smoothies Diet: The Natural Program for Extraordinary Health

I purchased three books as suggested by Amazon, the two books "Green Smoothie Revolution" and "Green For Life" by Victoria Boutenko and this book "The Green Smoothie Diet". While the author has a great understanding of the importance of green smoothies and a balanced raw diet, she lacks credibility as far as scientific research and knowledge goes. She seems to get most of her knowledge from personal experience and self-exploration as opposed to credible outside sources. Victoria Boutenko, on the other hand, backs up all of her claims and studies with valied evidence and research from many outside sources as well as her own studying and experimentation. For some reason, it really annoyed me that Robyn felt qualified enough to actually publish a book that was a failed attempt to compete with Victoria Boutenko. Her (Robyn) recipes actually have way too many ingredients and many of them contradict what the truly-qualified Victoria suggests (with valid evidence and research). After finishing the "Green Smoothie Diet" I felt overwhelmed with all of the ingredients that I would have to buy and how much my grocery bills would sky-rocket. Not only does she have you putting in tons of produce, but then you have your superfoods, seeds, coconut oil, etc. to include. Victoria is very clear that it is best to keep it very simple--no oils or seeds or any starchy vegetables; only water, fruit and greens with only 1-3 greens at a time. Victoria's recipes are far superiour to those of Robyn as far as taste goes, as well as convenience, cost and ease. I am much more motivated by Victoria's books than by Robyn's. Furthermore, I am much more prone to following Victoria's advice as I am to Robyn's simply due to the credibility factor. Robyn seems to have done her research on Victoria prior to writing this book and possibly even regurgitated Victoria's substantiated findings and claims. To me, "The Green Smoothie Diet" was a huge waste. I am so glad that I purchased the two Victoria Boutenko's books along with it so I was able to see for myself the superiority and quality of her books. In short, buy "Green for Life" and "The Green Smoothie Revolution" by Victoria Boutenko. I promise you will be ecstatic about green smoothies and the ingredients won't put a dent in your wallet. For those that love this book "The Green Smoothie Diet", I assume you have not read the other two books I have mentioned because if you have, you will change your mind regarding Robyn's "genius" book and recipes. I read Robyn's book first and thought it was alright but as soon as I read the other two books and tried Victoria's recipes after Robyn's, I was shocked that Robyn had any positive reviews. Also, I have a blendtec and love it. I had a vitamix before and the motor was smoking. I saw the blendtec at costco and purhcased it and I love it way more than I ever did the vitamix. One day when my husband is out of medical school, I plan on owning both the vitamix and the blendtec, but for now, I prefer the blendtec.

Although this book does contain some useful information, it has a constant underlying thread of salesmanship. It constantly hints that you should go to Robyn Openshaw's website and buy a Blendtec blender(after a lot of research I went with the VitaMix 5200 myself).

She also seems to have an almost catty dislike of Victoria Boutenko the author of Green For Life. After reading Ms Boutenko's book I have to say she has far more quoted and referenced scientific research, and has obviously spent a lot of time backing up her conclusions with fact.

Although both books say essentially the same things. I personally can do without the sales pitch, evangelical bylines, and resentful snipes that appear in Ms Openshaw's book.

I just read this book and highly recommend it, have lent my copy to a friend

already. You will finish it so pumped and empowered to start eating

healthier--Openshaw shows how it doesn't have to be expensive, or time

consuming, or hard.

I was engrossed from the first page of the introduction, which is funny

because you wouldn't think a nutrition book would be so interesting. The

author has a nurturing voice and helps you feel YOU CAN DO THIS.

She covers everything, right as I had the question, like 10 tips to get my

kids to buy into the ideas, what's good about all the different greens

available, how to buy and store them, 10 reasons to start doing green

smoothies, what exactly to eat to detox or to lose weight. I've always

wanted to try the superfoods you read about, and now I know how to use them

all. I love Openshaw's review of her research on what happens to people who

drink green smoothies regularly--no one could read that and not want to

start taking her suggestions TODAY. The book is very well written, too.

Love the frequently asked questions and all the testimonials at the end.

Her website [...] is amazing.

Can't wait to try all the recipes. I have my blender cranked up! Usually I think of eating right as a drag, but today I'm feeling totally excited. - Green Smoothie - Natural Foods - Vegan - Environmentalis'

Earbuds - earphones, earbuds

I've owned the Bose in-ear and V-moda Vibe, and these are hands down the best out of the three. I can't say these are better than highly acclaimed earphones like etymotics, but as an owner of three earphones in similar price ranges I can say these are the ones to get.

Let me start off and say that when I first tried these, I put them back in the box to return. On all the other in-ears I've tried I used the medium tips, so I assumed it'd be the same with these ones. I put on the medium round tips and the sound was horrible. I was really disappointed. But later on in the day I decided to try them again after reading that the large triple flange were the best tips. After doing this, and also turning sound check and EQ off, the sound was amazing! The v-modas are good for bass, but the monster beats have an all around better sound. I used to think the bose in-ear were really good but they are the worst of the three and I wouldn't recommend them.

The tips that work for me, and I think a lot of people, are pretty comfortable once you get use to them, but that takes awhile. They used to hurt my ears, but now I don't notice them at all. But they sort of clean out yours ears! Once u take them out it's kind of embarrassing how much gunk gets on them. If monster releases new replacement tips, these earphones would be a lot better. The tangle free cord really works, I've only had to really un-knot them once or twice.

I think a lot of people don't like these earphones because they didn't play around with them. I know every body's ears are different, but if you can find the right fit these earphones are amazing. Don't be turned off by the celebrity endorsement! Beats by Dr. Dre Tour High-Resolution In-Ear Headphones from Monster

At the end of the day, the durability of these headphones is what sets them apart from the rest.

Like most things, there is no shortage of opinion as to who makes the "best" headphones. Overtime, you can almost predict the reviews before you look at a product (Shure, Etymotic, etc = Great; Bose = overpriced, etc, etc). The basic problem with all of these is that you can't account for everyone's ear. Simply put, it doesn't matter if someone else hears or does not hear the difference in a set of headphones if you can't. This becomes an even bigger issue with in ear headphones as I know plenty of people who don't use them because they simply can't find a plug that fits comfortably in their ear.

Bottom line - be prepared for some trial and error before you arrive at the in-ear headphones that work for you.I did. But now, I think I have finally found my answer with these Beats by Dre Tour In-Ear headphones.

I was skeptical from the jump given that it is a monster product and I usually find their products to be... (drumroll please)... overpriced. The Tour headphones have been given that label too, but I'm not sure its really warranted here.

Right off the bat, the sound quality was great. The bass was as good as I expected and is definitely some of the best I have heard out of any headphone I have listened to. However, the overall sound produced by the Tour was better than I expected. With every genre of music I have played on them, the Tour has sounded as nice and clear as any other brand of headphone I have purchased. There were, naturally, a few songs I thought sounded better on my old Shure's or Sennheiser's, but overall the Tour did a great job with every song I threw at it.

But therein lies the rub. Which each review of earphones you often see people rattling off several different kinds of earphones they have purchased. While some purchase numerous products by choice and others are simply going through trial and error, too many people (including myself) are forced to try a top of in-ear headphones because these things simply fall apart too easily.

As much as I knock the sound on them, at least the earbuds that come with the ipod hold up with usage. For me, it sometimes seems like the more money you spend on these, the more fragile they are. Nothing is better than having a nice pair of in-ear headphones that produce great sound while you are on the go. But what good is it if the things fall apart with the slightest bump?

I have gone through two different kinds of V-moda which both started to lose sound in one of the earphones within a couple of months. The wiring began coming apart a few weeks later (even somehow shocking me in the freaking ear with the Vibe). I could never get good bass out of my Sennheiser earphones, but they also began losing sound out of one of the ears after about the fifth month. The most disappointing were my Shures. I loved those and would still be using them if the sound hadn't started going out of the right side after about 6 months.

I had pretty much given up at that point and just started using one of my audio technica over the ear's for everything. I saw the Beats by Dre headphones in a store and initially dismissed them. Way to cash in on your name Dr. Dre. But then, I looked at the actual cable and was intrigued. It looked like it might just be durable enough to hold up for workouts and everything in between. I had a gift card for the store and a coupon which brought the price down, so I decided to give it a try.

Almost a year later, I'm glad I did. Whether working out, mowing the yard, running for the train, hustling to my flight, etc, I've had no problems with these guys. The sound is just as good today as it was the first day I scooped them up.

And at the end of the day, that's what levels the playing field and even puts them on top of other in-ear headphones in this price range. The sound is great (not just for hip hop music, though hip hop does sound phenomenal on these). But they also hold up and that's important too. I don't want to dismiss other reviewers who have commented on theirs breaking, but I do fear that many have gotten a fake pair. Be careful and only purchase these from an authorized Monster retailer (even watch out for some people on the Amazon marketplace as some of those "remanufactured" and "like new" products may also be fakes - "FYI - there should be a serial number on the plug-in that goes into your mp3 player or stereo").

The big caveat are the actual in-ear pieces. It doesn't matter how great the earphones are, if they won't stay in your ear, are uncomfortable, etc, they simply will not work out for you. I swapped out the default in-ear piece for the smaller one that comes with the Tour and it worked perfectly for me. I imagine that there are probably some replacements you could get from somewhere else that would also work here, but this could be a dealbreaker for any brand of headphones and the Tour are no exception.

Overall, the Tour in-ear headphones have been a very pleasant surprise for me. I would definitely recommend giving them a try if you are in the market for a new set of in-ear headphones. Some say they are overpriced, but I disagree. Even at full price, I don't think the price of these is that much worse than other in comparable set given how well they have held up for me. As cliche as the saying is, don't judge a book by its cover. Monster and Dr. Dre have produced a great sounding set of headphones that should hold up to repeated usage. - Earphones - Beats - Earbuds - Monster'

Dashboard Mount

My Prius has a rough dashboard and a windshield that slopes very sharply. Thus, the suction cup mounts are not good solutions. Fortunately, the friction mount is a great solution. It works much better than I expected. Very stable, does not slide, and lets me adjust my Nuvi to a variety of different angles. I can place the GPS anywhere on the dash or even on the center console. Also works great when transferred to my wife's Ford.

Only downside to the device is that it has a rather large footprint, but not prohibitively large. I like the fact that I can easily use this in both of our family vehicles depending on where we need the GPS.

UPDATE: Now that I have used this mount regularly since May, I have to say this is the best mounting solution I've found for a GPS or any other device for my car. It hasn't slid out of place once!! Given the rise in GPS units being stolen from cars, this mount allows you to easily stash your GPS Unit and mount out of sight and then put it back into position with ease.

2009 Update: Still using this in my Prius and my wife has one too. It's held up quite well. It IS a bit bulky to store out of the way when not in use, but still a good solution. I usually remove my GPS from the mount (a simple process) and then place the mount as far under the seat as it will go. Not perfect, but the best solution I've found to date. Garmin Portable Friction Mount

This mount works great. The selection of Garmin mounts is confusing as some are two parts and some are one. If you have a Nuvi with the included windshield mount, then this is the only part you need to buy. The included mount disassembles at the ball and socket joint and attaches to this one. I can't say it will never come off the dash if I do some really high speed maneuver, but so far it's held steady for all regular driving.

I like that it's easy to move the mount and gps unit down to the floor when I park. Yeah a thief could still see it if they came right up to my car but at least it's not obvious from halfway across the parking lot like a windshield mount is. A thief that sees an empty windshield mount is probably going to assume (correctly) that I've just put the unit in the glove compartment.

I have become addicted to my Garmin Nuvi 660 and used it for six months with a successful windshield mount. But now I have bought a new car. I discovered that the windshield suction mount left an ugly black ring on the window of my old car. (I assume I can get this cleaned up when I detail the car for selling.)

So no way was I going to put one of those on my beautiful new car. I tried the Garmin dashboard mount but shied away from the "permanent" disc. I found the "temporary" disc was just not up to the job of holding this device in place -- at least on my vehicle. I found this very frustrating. I read about the Portable Friction Mount, found a Best Buy store that had it in stock and ran out to buy it.

Though it is not terribly good looking, it does the job very well. I tried whipping around a few tight turns in parking lots and the whole thing stayed put. As another reviewer said, this lets you easily remove the thing and put it on the floor so it's not obvious. That may be more valuable than you would think. I know somebody who removed his Garmin Nuvi (and took it with him) but left the window mount in place. The car was broken into and the window mount alone was stolen. (Probably that was a pretty frustrated thief.)

Also, this will be easy to transfer to a rental car. And it will make it easy for my wife to borrow my Nuvi. Hmmm!

While the friction mount on the bottom of the beanbag is pretty darn stable even with stops, starts, and turns I sometimes would find it sliding across the dash. The solution has been to use one of those little 6x4 inch mats sold at Radio Shack or Walmart for keeping cellphones on the dash. The mat is sticky on one side but leaves no marks or glue. I have not had one slide since using the mat. I even bring the mat with me in rental cars. This gives a very secure mount that is very easy to take from car to car.

The first time I tried this mount was in a rental car for a Garmin C530, and I never thought it would stay on the slightly sloping dash of the Pontiac Grand Prix but it held firm going up and down San Francisco's hilly roads. That prompted me to buy one for my car. Essentially this mount is a bean bag with a mouse pad like rubber base but its engineered to stay where you put it and not slide around unless you move it. The good thing is that it stays put even if you brake suddenly, and if you drive in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic like me every day you'll appreciate this even more!

The advantages are:

- No sticking on windshield. This is a BIG advantage as the windshield mount starts to come off easily after a year of usage, less if you leave it in your car while it's parked in the sun. There is nothing worse than your GPS sliding off while you're driving round a tricky bend, especially if you are new to the area. Sometimes it can be downright dangerous.

- The windshield mount also alerts thieves that a GPS is in the car. A friction mount can be placed down under the car seat when you leave the car without needing to disconnect anything so that you're ready to go quickly when you come back to the car.

- The other big advantage is the ability to move it around to the position you want it. If a passenger is sitting in your car you can just slide it to their side and they can input the information while you are driving. It also makes it easy to slide it closer to yourself. Since I have the Nuvi 660 I often make calls with the bluetooth feature while driving, it is easy to slide it towards me when I am speaking to someone in order to get better voice reception.

This mount works for all Nuvis as they have the "snap the ball in the joint". If you buy any model of Nuvi then this is all you need, no other adapter parts are needed. It's also easy to switch this mount between cars or move it to a rental car when you travel. It has been the best and most useful accessory I could buy for my Nuvi 660.'

Cordless Stick Vacuum - cordless vacuum, cordless vac

Only one little problem...Amazon needs to touch up the part number in all of it's listings.

It needs to have the (39150)tacked on to the 60776. Most of the people that have run the re-charge life out of it and are looking for the replacement are looking for the 39150 number as it is on the battery and the Eureka label on the Vacuum.

With the 60776 standing alone it leaves the impression that it's a battery for one of the other small Eureka machines. Eureka 60776 Vacuum Battery Pack

I ordered the Eureka 60776 battery pack hoping that it would replace the 38797 battery pack for a Eureka Boss Lite model 93B.

The batteries are the same size, but have electrical contacts in different locations. Unfortunately, I have to return the 60776 battery pack. I can no longer find the 38797 battery pack anywhere. As a last resort, I'm having Batteries Plus rebuild the old 38797 battery pack with new cells, and I'll super glue the battery case back together.

Purchased this battery to replace the original one in my Eureka Quick Up stick vac. Charged it overnight and works great. I'm so glad that you can get replacement batteries because I love the vacuum. Would hate to have to buy a new Eureka cordless stick vac if you can even find them anymore.

What a life-saver! Was going to have to buy a replacement vacuum for $$ when I stumbled across this gem. Pulled out the old one, inserted the new one and with a 2 hour recharge, was able to vacuum all the floors with no drop in power. Saved at least $40 with the purchase of this. Just remember to recycled the old used one properly!

I was worried when the battery on my vac started losing it's ability to charge, and I was leary of ordering a new battery for fear it would not be as strong as the original or end up not taking the charge itself, but I needn't have worried. This battery charged up perfectly and hasn't given me a bit of problems. Hopefully it'll last longer than the first one did though! lol

Bought this as a replacement. The cost of this battery is more than half the cost of a complete new vacuum. The original battery began to lose power very quickly after a complete charge. The vacuum itself is great. It's nice to be able to use this rather than dragging out the big wired vacuum. - Cordless Vacuum - Great Product - Cordless Stick Vacuum - Cordless Vac'

Hypoallergenic - cleansing cloths, towelettes

These wipes are excellent and I am addicted to them. I have tried other products but keep going back to cucumber by Ponds. They have a soft side and an "exfoliating" side. They do not really exfoliate but do a good job at removing some dead skin. I use the soft side in the eye area. One wipe is enough to remove all make up and the skin feels fresh and moisturized.

Ingredients: Water, Hexylene Glycol, Glycerin, Cucumis Sativus Extract (Cucumber), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green Tea), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (Aloe Vera), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Panthenol, Bisabolol, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Benzyl Alcohol, PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Butylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Fragrance, Citric Acid, DMDM Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate Ponds Clean Sweep, Micro Dermabrasion Wet Cleansing Towelettes, 30-Count (Pack of 3)

I've been using these facial scrubs for years. I am highly allergic and these are safe, I love the smell, and they make my skin feel great, I have CFS, terrible fatigue problems, and am too weak and tired to really wash my face every day, But these scrubs do it just fine, plus they do a light exfoliating that gets any dry skin off, They really have been a lifesaver for me, So, I was thrilled when I searched for them on Amazon recently and saw that you were carrying them now, Really thrilled, This is such a bonus for me, I like to order everything if I can, through Amazon, For numerous reasons, customer service has been so good to me, pricing is great, shipping is terrific, and I because I do everything through Amazon, I can keep a good track on my purchases, For those of us with CFS or fibromyalgia, that is such a bonus, Anyway, I love these facial scrubs and I love Amazon for carrying them, Thanks!

I've tried a variety of facial wipes and find a lot of brands don't have staying power for getting the job done with just one towelette. I have carpal tunnel and arthritis and get frustrated if I have to spend more time than necessary cleaning my face twice a day.

Ponds Clean Sweep, Micro Dermabrasion Wet Cleansing Towelettes are perfect. They are big, they are moist, and they get the job done quickly. I especially like that they are two-sided. Use the 'bumpy' side for cleaning and mildly exfoliating, and the smooth side for wiping away all the residue. I love how they prep my skin for moisturizers.

It seems to me a pack of 30 towelettes should be priced under $5, but you also get what you pay for. As long as these stay around the $6 per package price point, I'll continue to order and use them.

Of all the facial tissues I've used, this one is the most effective at getting makeup off and leaving my face feeling clean but not dried out. It does a good job, but doesn't remove mascara on the first or even second try. I still have to use eye makeup remover.

I was happy to find this product which has apparently been discontinued by Pond's. I tried a private label version from Target's Up & Up brand, but found that it was not nearly as nice as the Pond's product.

I grabbed a pack of these at random in a drug store while vacationing in FL because I had forgotten to bring any cleansing wipes along. Lo and behold, they by far the BEST I have ever used!! (And I've tried a lot!) Cleans your face well and takes all the make up off without rubbing the skin off with it. Leaves no residue to have to try to wash off later. A GREAT product!

Susie

I've tried many kinds of make-up removers. I love this one. It's neat, handy, and easy to use. It takes off make-up without excess rubbing (including water proof mascara) and removal of skin. Makes face feel clean; not greasy or sticky.

I so hate these...more than anything what makes me hate them is the SMELL....aaargh...i bought it on amazon and I have like 4 packs to use...im gonna add some rose water to it so the smell is atleast bearable....i already can't wait to use and finish these off. - Hypoallergenic - Cleansing Cloths - Cloths - Towelettes'

Elliptical Trainer

I started out my search for a quality but NOT super expensive elliptical after seeing the Livestrong brand ellipticals at Dick's Sporting Goods. I loved the Livestrong 10.0 model for $1000 and watched it for six months to see if if ever went on sale. It didn't, not at the store or anywhere online. I did more research and found out that Johnson Manufacturing makes both the Livestrong and Horizon brands and are very well respected makers who have been around for years. They are also one of very few who offer a one year warranty on the product. Then Consumer Reports listed the Horizon EX68 as a best buy in 2010. Those are no longer available and this model is the new version of it.

It took three weeks for it to get to me as this is sent via a local freight shipping company. I was NOT happy Amazon failed to pass my phone number on to the shipping company and they had to contact me by mail! The box fits through a standard 30" door and it weighs 270 lbs- don't expect the driver to get it into the house very far beyond the door. If you live up a flight of stairs this will likely be left at the bottom. We had to carry to it piece by piece to the area it was being assembled. The wheel is the heaviest part and unless you are a superstrong female you will need someone with muscle to help you with it.

My boyfriend assembled it in about 2 and 1/2 hours.

The nuts and bolts are packaged to use step by step and are glued to a piece of cardboard in order of use which he liked. The parts were pre-greased but he did use some lithium grease (which is available in Home Depot). The tools for assembly are also included- he pronounced the wrench was "junk" within five minutes and used his own. He said having metric tools would have made things easier but was able to use his standard SAE socket set. I brought him a couple of beers during the assembly to keep him happy- occasionally he called me to hold a piece in place while he put the bolts in but generally he did it on his own. He is a pretty handy guy but I will say I did not overhear any muttering, swearing or complaining about the instructions and assembly. (You ladies know what I'm talking about if you have ever been around when the assembly of something is not going smoothly).

I used the machine itself last night and was quite impressed at how quiet and smooth the operation was. It offers three basic workouts which are pre-programmed but allow you to set the amount of time you use them. My ipod plugs right in and the speakers are pretty good for their size- it sounded fine, no distortion and easily loud enough to hear during your workout. I am 5"3" and the fan tends to blow air more at my forehead then my face, its too bad the vent is not adjustable to direct the air where you want it. You can set any custom program you like and I did try out the differing levels of resistance and all I can say is WOW does it offer you a challenge! This model has a manual incline adjustment and it is VERY EASY to set a new incline (there are three settings). The more expensive EX 79 has power incline but I can honestly say I do not find this feature critical unless you are someone who wants to change the incline automatically during a workout and without pausing to do so.

There is no doubt this is a quality piece of exercise equipment that is worth the $800 price tag. When my Nordictrac treadmill dies I would seriously consider switching to the Johnson manufactured brands. So- this is an excellent purchase and I am very happy with my choice. Horizon Fitness EX-69 Elliptical Trainer

I had an old Nordic Track elliptical that finally bit the dust. I checked out some of the elliptical trainers at local stores. I couldn't believe how uncomfortable they were to use compared to the old Nordic Track. Most of the machines out there have a very bouncy stride which is not exactly easy to use. I came across a Horizon which was very comfortable. I did further research and saw that the new Horizons have what is called FlatEllipse. The stride closely resembles activities such as walking and running. I have had the EX-69 for a few months now and love it! Very comfortable to use. It was also easy to put together and is a very sturdy machine. Highly recommended!

Background.....

This is my second elliptical machine.Initially when I wanted to purchase one I was not sure if I was going to use it much. So I did not do much research and went for a cheapy (Bodyrider Magnetic) one. To my surprise I used it pretty well almost 4-5 times a week for around 30 minutes. That held up pretty well for the money paid. However the stride length was too small for me (I am only 5'6"). Also the motion was not very smooth as I liked. Hence I was wanting to go for a better machine as soon as possible. So when I saw the deal on amazon I took the plunge.

This time I did not want to do the same mistake. I started my research online as usual. Immediately I shortlisted Horizon fitness EX59 and Schwinn 430 ellipticals because of their excellent user reviews. However some reviews about the squeaking and the bad customer support as well as the 90 days warrranty on part and labor made me to look closely at the horizon model.

Now I wanted to try out the one I shortlisted before I make my purchase. The only place listed any Horizon to be available was sears. However when I went to the store they only had a proform mpdel, a couple of Sole and Nordictrack models. I did not like the feel of porform at all. I liked the Sole models very much becasue of their smooth stride. The Nordictrack models were impressive as well. At that point I wanted get either a sole or Nordictrack.

Then I went to Dick's sporting to see if I can try a Horizon. What I found there was some Sole models and some LIVESTRONG models in. I was very impressed with those LIVESTRONG machines. They were very smooth. However both these as well as Sole was beyond my budget. Both models had a heavy flywheeland I realized that it was making the stride very smooth. Here I learned that horizon ellipticals were manufactured by the same company who builds the LIVESTRONG machines. That put my interest high on Horizon again.

Initially I was looking at the EX-59 model based on higher number of excellent reviews. However I found that EX-69 has a longer stride and heavier flywheel (which gives you a smoother ride) and manual incline adjustments. It was also having a number of positive reviews. So finally I made up my mind and ordered the 69 model. I got it for $640/- using the discount availble. I ordered it on the 14th of June. The estimated delivery date was 27th June.

I got an email from amazon 21st of June stating that the shipper (ABF) tried to contact me on the number I provided and they could not not reach me. Also they provided a number to cotact the shipper directly. I called them the next day and scheduled the delivery on 23rd.The box was delivered promptly and the driver was kind enough to bring it to our living room. The box was torn on the side but it did not cause damage to the stuff inside. I shoud mention that the package was not good enough for such a heavy equipment. The box is heavy around 200 pounds. So don't plan on moving it somewhere by yourslef.

Review......

I started the assembly on the 26th. I opened the box and moved the parts to where I want to set it up. The parts for each stage is marked and kept seperately. The assembly itself is pretty easy and it took me less than 2 hours for me with very little help from my wife. The one thing you should be careful is attching the console mast to the flywheel assembly. The screws are pre-installed. Don't loose them while you unscrew them becuase they can fall inside the flywheel and you will have a tough time retrieving them.

Pros

20" stride length

Very sturdy machine

Super quite

Pretty good speakers to listen to music with an option to connect headphones

Incline adjustment

Watter bottle/phone/remote holder

1 year in home labor

Cons

Nothing I could find so far except the water bottle holder is not in a postion where you can easiy retrieve the bottle.

I have been using it for almost 2 weeks now. I have been using resistance level 1 most of teh time which gives me a good workout. I do around 5 MPH for 35 miutes and burns 350 calories. The machine is very silent and sturdy. I will update the review as I use the machine for a longer period of time.'

Laptop Battery - nimh batteries, laptop battery

Amazon has gone into the battery business! These batteries are a great alternative to the more expensive name brands. And so far, the quality seems just as good. The price is great and it's even better if you use "Subscribe and Save". Also, they came in a nice box ("frustration-free" packaging) which fits just perfectly in my drawer (I just cut off the lid). It kept the batteries from rolling around in the drawer.

And, really, who doesn't want that famous Amazon smiley on their batteries?? lol AmazonBasics AAA Alkaline Batteries (Pack of 20)

Batteries are commodities, and "premium" batteries that promise more power at a higher cost seems kinda silly to me. I found out about the Amazon brand of batteries by accident, but I'm glad I did -- The battery life is good, the price is great, and the packagine is easy to open and is completely reclycable. I go through batteries a lot (peripherals for my computers, hand-held devices, etc) so I'm glad I found a set of affordable and dependable batteries. Don't forget to properly recycle your used batteries!

These batteries are great. I have been using them for over 2 weeks and they have performed to the same level as my Duracell's. The price can't be beat. Believe it or not the box they come in has served as a great storage option for me and I don't have batteries rolling around in my junk drawer. Very pleased with these, and plan to buy again.

I love AmazonBasics products because they are usually excellent products, like Costco's Kirkland brand, and have very reasonable prices.

Although there are lots of rechargeable batteries on the market, there exist many circumstances when Alkaline batteries are more appropriate. For example, I use Alkaline batteries for clocks, smoke detectors, portable speakers, and any electronics that use little power and that do not need battery replacement often.

The AmazonBasics AA Alkaline batteries have a high quality feel. The ones I just bought have a voltage of between 1.63 to 1.64 v, and the remaining shelf life is 4 years and 9 months.

Although Alkaline battery cannot be recharged in an ordinary charger, there are special Alkaline battery chargers made for this purpose. I will test the "rechargeability" of these Amazon-branded batteries and report it here in the future.

Fully satisfied! The ones I have used so far in TV remotes and other household items are still going strong. They seem te be just as good or better than name brand batteries I get in the local store, and for a far better price.

I use these batteries particularly for my wireless Xbox 360 headset. Before these I would go to the store and purchase a 16 pack of Energizers for about $12. These are half the price and on average last about 50% longer, how on earth? Even the shipping is free! I'll be ditching Duracells and sticking to Amazon's batteries from now on.

I have a new Magic Mouse from Apple and they usually go through batteries faster than a teenage boy eats. I bought these batteries thinking I would buy less expensive ones since I would be going through them so fast. They are laster MUCH longer than another other batteries I used. With the old ones I would have to change my them every 3 weeks. With these it is almost every 8 weeks.

Thanks you Amazon!!

I did not know Amazon also carried batteries at decent price. Amazon batteries are my second choice since Costco has better deal for Duracell brand especially with coupons. Amazon batteries did not last long as Duracell, but it's well-worth the price since they last longer than other cheap batteries at 99cent Stores or cheap convenient stores: $1 for 4 useless batteries that sooner or later will release toxins to our environment. I really enjoyed Amazon's batteries for its price and alkaline made. I stocked some in refrigerator for longer life use. - Laptop Battery - Nimh Batteries'

I was a faithful Foray 1.2 mm fan. Could not find them and tried my luck with the paper mate profile 1.4 B pen. They are so smooth to write with. Writing realy flows. I am a very-picky-pen-person. So if you like a somewhat bolder line, you have to look no further. These pens are great! Paper Mate Profile Retractable Ballpoint Pens, 12 Blue Ink Pens (89466)

I love these pens. They are very smooth to write with and there are never ever any ink blotches on your hands afterwards. They are a bold print, and are very comfortable to use. You can drop them without having them break on you like some others I have used. Overall a great pen, and priced well.

Absolutely my favorite pens! The Profile 1.4B writes clearly, smoothly, boldly, never had one skip. The grip is comfortable, contoured right, placed right IMO.

PLEASE, Papermate, keep making these!

If you want a bold mechanical pencil to go with these, try Pentel Fiesta AX13 1.3mm.

I love how easily the ink glides out of these pens - I use them at home and at work. There is a bit of glue on the writing tip of each new pen - remove that so the ink can come out and the pen will work very well.

There's one small drawback to these pens, they can develop the little bit of extra ink on the tip that might smear if it transfers to the page. I've ONLY found this to be a problem when writing long pieces (like my college notes), but I still don't care. I keep a kleenex handy to wipe the excess every so often. They write so smoothly, the blue ink is very easy to see against textbooks, paper, etc., and I've never had one break down (spring) or break (clip on top) on me. They just seem to last forever, too.

I never thought I'd have to mention a pen being noisy, but Paper Mate has done it. I bought a box of these based on first the comment of a client and then the reviews here. You press the clicker down to write and click again to withdraw the pen tip. When the pen is clicked down to expose the tip for writing, the click end of the pen rattles around.

The pens don't write a smooth line either with normal pressure. Finally, they come with a little protector ball on the tip that you need to remove to use the first time, but the ball fell off several pens in the box upon arrival.

I like my Pilot EasyTouch medium point pen a lot more. Smoother line on a page, better rubber feel (less plastic-y) on the part where you grip with you fingertips, and no noise when writing or moving the pen. - Paper Mate - Free Shipping - Ballpoint'

Motorola Droid

Buyer beware when not purchasing directly from Amazon. I got my Droid 1 battery from the seller UnitedIntegral. This is not a Motorola OEM battery as pictured, it's Chinese knockoff.

UPDATE: Seller UnitedIntegral contacted me, offering to refund my money in exchange for removing the negative feedback I put on their seller profile. Unfortunately for them, I care less about my money than I do about being ripped off by deceptive and dishonest merchants selling their Chinese knockoff crap as the real thing on Amazon. Something tells me the other merchants selling these batteries for dirt cheap are doing exactly the same thing.

AVOID THIRD PARTY MERCHANTS FOR THESE BATTERIES, BUY DIRECTLY FROM AMAZON. Motorola DROID and DROID II 1300mah Standard Battery

I bought this battery direct from Amazon. I do not trust the 3rd party sellers; none of whom appear to be authorized Motorola resellers. Counterfeit cell phone batteries are widely available for cheap prices, but who knows what quality you are getting. Cell phones have been known to catch fire or explode and manufacturers usually blame counterfeit batteries. The battery that I received from Amazon appears identical to the battery that came with my Motorola Droid phone, including the hologram labeling that is printed on the bottom of the battery.

My Droid can last a whole day on one charge if I use only the phone features. If I use the internet or media or GPS features heavily, then the battery can last less than 8 hours. Fortunately, the Droid does allow you to easily pop in a spare battery.

I bought this item as a back-up battery for my Motorola Droid. It is the OEM battery and works as well as the one that came with the phone. I get between 24 and 30 hours of use off of a charge which is comparable with the original. Now when the phone goes dead, I take out the old battery, pop in the freshly charged one and I'm never tethered to a charging cord. And the price was a heck of a lot cheaper than I expected so who am I to complain? :)

Seems to be the exact battery that came with my Droid. Considering when these first popped on Amazon they were 40 bucks. At this price, you can't go wrong. Has the same battery life as my original Droid battery. Great for having as a backup, I keep the other in my notebook bag.

Not much to say; battery arrived quickly from seller but was DOA. Seller claims it is a legit Motorola battery but I have my doubts as it looks different enough from my original Motorola battery. Even the label material around the battery is different.

In the end though it doesn't matter because it doesn't work.

I gave the seller 5 stars though because not only did they send me this item in record time but they solved my issue and gave me a full refund in record time as well.

Update: If you were thinking about the Seidio Innocell 2600 mAh Extended Battery for Motorola Droid, my advice would be "don't do it." The OEM battery is a much better power supply. It actually lasts longer than a few months, which is more than I can say for the Innocell battery I purchased.

Review:

I enjoy my Droid phone and with my usage, I go through batteries quickly. You can conserve power by turning off options you are not using (Bluetooth, 3G, Screen Brightness, GPS, Wi-Fi, Checking Email) but sometimes I forget or don't want to cut my features. I got a spare Original Equipment Manufacturer battery and an extended life battery at the same time. This is an OEM battery worked properly from the start, unlike the extended life battery which needed to be "trained" in the phone. I could not tell the difference in run time between this battery and the one that came with my phone from Verizon.

The Good

The battery fits in my Motorola car dock, which I use all the time. It also fits in my desktop charging dock which I like to use. The Extended life battery does not fit the Motarola car dock or the desktop charging dock The OEM battery does not add bulk to the phone.

The Bad

The OEM battery does not last as long with the features most people use turned on. It is a pain to have to manage phone usage to keep the battery alive. I am a heavy user of "Advanced Task Killer" which I usually access by holding down the Home key.

Conclusion

I am happy with the purchase. I chose my battery according to what my use will be. When I have been out all day with my first battery and I'm going out at night it's nice to be able to snap in a charged battery. (without taking the time to charge my battery) If I'm going to be in my car I use the OEM battery. If I am out and about I use the extended battery. It is nice to have options. I still bring my OEM spare battery when I don't want to take the chance of having a dead phone.

Unlike our I-Phone friends we have the ability to pop in a new battery. ;-)

btw, this battery is 1390 mah, not 1300 as it's listed in title and description.

5$ for a battery that cost 50$ from "Official" Markets like Verizon & Retail Chains? definitely sounded too good to be true. But I thought, what the hell, for 5$, I'll give it a shot, and from some scattered reviews, they seem to be satisfied that it's likely OEM w slight differences. And if Amazon Direct had once sold it for 5$ as well, then 5$ from private amazon sellers no longer sounded so far fetched.

There were slight differences in what I received compared to the "GENUINE MOTOROLA" that came w my phone so i DID question it's authenticity. The font size on these spare batteries were slightly larger on the front. and there are slight differences in placement of information on the back of the battery. Otherwise all the info and branding is the same, even with the same holographic prism across the back.

**btw, the photo in this listing is of the OEM Stock battery that came with our USA phones, NOT the version we'll be receiving.

I later came to feel more secure with my purchase from private sellers after my brother bought his Droid2Global phone. Since his phone is considered a "Global" product, all his included accesories included outlet adapters, etc. and when I looked at his battery, sure enough, it looked EXACTLY the same as the ones I buy off amazon sellers.

So the conclusion is:

-the batteries from the amazon marketplace are indeed OEM, but they're GLOBAL OEM inventory. if it matters to anyone, there's probably slight differences between USA Standards and Global Standards. But for most of us, as long as it's officially OEM, it's good enough for us.

So I placed in an order for one battery from a few merchants.

OEM Planet : US 1st Class Ships from NY with Tracking in small bubble envelope, not in retail packaging.

OEM Shop : US 1st Class Ships from NY, w/o Tracking. Courteous Customer Srvc Response 1 day email turnover

BTO Inc : US 1st Class Ships from NY, w/o Tracking. in small bubble envelope. not in retail packaging. Extremely generous Customer Response 2 day email turnover

Amazon : To Be Shipped, BackOrdered @ 5$

***then again, all it really is.. is a sticker around a battery. For me personally, I'm 95% assured they're Global OEM. and for the record, even Amazon has slipped up before and accidentally sold counterfeits.'
