Belkin Slim Back Pack

This is one of the best backpacks I've ever had. I did a lot of research since I wanted something that was slim, no-nonsense, sans bells and whistles, and clean and professional. This was dead on the money for all of those things. All the pockets are in the right places, the laptop container is plenty big for anything up to a 15" MacBook Pro, and it even has space for an iPad or a few important folders. Buy this bag if some or all of these things are important to you.

A few very minor gripes: The nylon part of the strap (below the padded shoulder part) is pretty slippery, and it's bound to shift lengths from where you've adjusted it, even if you wrap it through more than once. I fixed it with some safety pins...no big deal. I also had a zipper handle come off the lanyard part that attaches to the actual zipper mechanism, but a little Gorilla Glue fixed it...also no big deal.

Finally, the other day, I slipped on a smooth floor and fell straight on my back, landing on the backpack with my MacBook Pro inside. I weigh 200 pounds. Nothing happened. My computer is fine. Amazing. Buy it. Incase Nylon Campus Backpack (Fir Green/Golden Rod)

this is the best backpack i have ever had. the design is simple but efficient. there is the perfect amount of protection for both my 15 inch macbook pro and my ipad. the pockets inside allow me to carry either chargers or my iphone. there is also the perfect amount of space for my textbooks and other school supplies. the outside pockets are really handy too. if you need a backpack and youre not sure what to get, i could not recommend this backpack more highly!!!

I went with the campus incase because of the reduced price compared to the original one. Delivered in less time than I thought. Generally great large interior for my laptop (13in blackbook) but the pockets tend to let all the items shuffle to the bottom... significant items like my ti graphing calculator, comp. power adapter, headphone case all bunched at the bottom making it difficult to get my books in and access the lower front pocket on the outside. Good bag but perhaps the larger size and deeper body need more delegation of space.

I bought this bag thinking that the fushia color would be a pinkish...well no dice. This bag is a weird color of bright purple. The closest color I can compare it to is Barney the Dinosaur. Google it. Yep--That color.

Great functioning bag though, wonderfully thought-out pocket placement, and the nylon material could probably survive a zombie apocalypse.

I have been using a JanSport bag for the last 4-5 years. It has been working ok, but since now I'm doing my masters, I need to carry my Macbook pro with me all the time. I had one of those sleeves for my laptop, but with a notebook and some other stuff the Jansport bag would get heavy. I am not sure why but with this bag, I'm carrying the same stuff + a big book and I don't feel that it's heavy.

If you want a bag like a JanSport that you can put a whole lot of things, this is not the bag for you. It has a very limited space, and very inflexible for that matter. But if you want to carry your laptop, and a couple of books then definitely go for this bag.

I gave 4 stars because the color looks much lighter in the pictures. The actual color is dark gray, and the inside is blue..

I don't know that this bag could be any better, honestly.

The laptop sleeve is well-padded and well-constructed. The faux fur is a little much, but it's certainly soft and cushiony for my computer.

There are several small pockets inside the main compartment for pens and other small things - I keep an SD card adapter, a small mp3 player and a couple of erasers in there.

The main compartment itself is plenty large - almost one of those Mary Poppins bag situations where the inside is larger than the outside (tropers will recognize hammerspace). The 3rd day I had it, my wife and I went to Busch Gardens and I emptied my other things out of it to carry a few bottles of water, cameras, keys, phones, and wallets, and it coped fine with all of that as well.

The bag is solid and well-made, as you'd expect from incase, and the seller was excellent - really fast shipping.

I really can't find anything to complain about!

I order this great Incase Laptop bag and I love it, I hate i couldnt find the Black/Green one for the same price but this Grey/power blue that i have is cool. ANd the shippment was perfect, got to me in two days.'

Blackberry Curve 8330 - curve, 8320

This product works as advertised (in other words it does give your Blackberry extended run time).

But, it should be noted that although you will not "Need" to buy a new battery cover after installing this extended battery, it is ever so slightly larger than the OEM battery (Thus it causes the battery cover to stick out just a little bit at the bottom).

So, if you're a very persnickety type person, you are forewarned. Seidio Innocell 1500mAh Slim Extended Life Battery for BlackBerry 8300, 8310, 8320, 8330, 8700c, 8700g, 8703e, 7100i

The battery that came with my phone had deteriorated and was only lasting a half a day. I'm not a heavy phone user, and I like a phone battery to last me from first thing in the morning to last thing at night.

I received my new Seidio battery three days ago. It was not a snug fit in my phone, as others have mentioned - the cover slid over very easily. I use my phone mainly for receiving emails and making a couple of calls per day. Other features I use less frequently. I also always have Bluetooth enabled all the time - for hands free calling while driving.

I'm currently in my third day of use since first charging my new battery, and I have lost two bars only. Frankly I'm amazed - I wanted 24 hours of use, I expected 48 hours of use (after reading reviews), but it looks like I'll get at least 96 hours.

I will highly recommend this battery.

I have the blackberry curve 8330 from verizon wireless.... I use my phone for personal and business use. I am practically on it all day. My orginal battery was only giving me one day of life, which was miserable having to recharge every night. I purchased this battery because it does not require a new battery door. I followed the instructions and allowed a full discharge before recharging for the first 5 or 6 charges. I can now get at least 2 days before having to recharge, and sometimes 3. This is much better than the previous battery, which required everyday recharges. If your on the phone all day and you hate to recharge your phone every day, then this battery is for you.

So far after only a few charges I have only noticed a slight increase in battery life. I havent noticed any size problems with the case that the other reviewers mentioned. I was able to listen to the Radio 6 hours while making 3 hours worth of phone calls and approximately 50 texts out 50 texts in, surfed the web about an hour, and left Yahoo messenger open all day while chatting on it intermittently and it lasted a little over a day. This was more of a stress test then anything, as normal use I would have had most of these items off, so I expect to get atleast 2-3 days of normal use out of this battery, longer if I have a light day.

Very good product. This battery has definitely extended the up-time for my Blackberry Curve 8330. I was at my wits end with the original battery that came with the phone. I would lose power by late afternoon, and using other features like the Internet or just text messaging would shorten battery life tremendously.

With this extended life battery my phone now gives me two days of service even while accessing the Internet. Happy with the product so far.

PROS

Fits Blackberry Curve 8320 (Verizon). Cover closed OK, no bulges.

CONS

After 10 full charge/discharge cycles the battery still has no "extended" life. (Charged with a Blackberry brand blade wall charger connected to the Blackberry brand stand.)

It took using it for about a week before it started fully holding a charge. The first day it stayed charged less than my original battery. That slowly increased day by day. Today, it has been unplugged for 14 hours and still has 80% battery power left. I'm now a fan! Don't give up if you don't love it right away. Keep charging, and give it time.

Had a problem with first battery I was sent. Contacted E-mobile and sent battery back because the one they sent seem to lose power faster than OME battery that came with blackberry curve. They in turn issued a RA# and process for a replacment when smooth (1 week turn around)Using new replacment battery seems to last longer (1500extented life). Company seems to stand behind their sells. I'll update you if there's a probem with replacement. happy with my purchase. - Extended Battery - 8320 - Curve - Battery'

Inflatable Canoe - inflatable kayak, kayak

I bought SE370 Pro Inflatable Kayak that has the upgraded seat from a competitor. Took it to the local lake during a camping trip. Easy to put together. Kids loved it as well as me! I solo'd it to do some fishing. Kids teamed up to paddle around the lake. OF course, we all used life jackets at all times! It tracked beautifully and was easy to maneuver. It was easy , as well, to deflate. Be sure to wipe it dry before storing it away. The included storage bag held everything, pump, kayak and paddles. It is quite sturdy and has a nice carrying strap. Buy it and enjoy !!! Sea Eagle SE370 Inflatable Kayak with Pro Package

I recently got into kayaking by way of some friends. They had two boats so the three of us would rotate so we could all have some fun. It was fun, but when you'd like everyone out on the water at the same time, you will obviously need a third boat. Being an apartment dweller I couldn't really keep a hard shell kayak anywhere. Nor did I want to haul one up and down three flight of stairs every time I felt like hitting the water.

After a lot of research I decided on the Sea Eagle SE370. And I'm pretty dang happy.

1. Storage, set up, moving: It easy to set up. The first couple of times might take you a bit longer than advertised, but after that, it's a smooth process. Moving it to the water has one real issue: The carry bag should have two straps instead of one. The single strap will dig into your shoulder on longer walks to the water. I've since started inflating it right out of the car instead of hauling the bag to the launch site. Still, while that eliminates the pain of the single shoulder strap it is awkward to carry for a quarter mile. Storage is pretty easy. The boat in its bag will easily fit in a closet while it patiently waits for its next use. Major drawback, you cannot fit the paddles in the carry bag with the SE370. It might be possible with the smaller SE330, but it just won't happen with the 370. The boat, seats, and pump take up all of the space. If you're really determined, maybe you can cram the paddles in, but not wanting to break anything I haven't tried to force it. Outside of the single shoulder strap on the carry bag, this thing is great.

2. On the water: Talk about stable. Between my efforts to tip it, and my friends more extreme attempts, I feel safe saying it will not tip. It's more likely to toss you out before it tips over. Since I'm not a strong swimmer that makes me feel very comfortable in it. Performance, you're not getting anywhere very fast. You won't get anywhere in a terribly straight line either. Sitting slightly aft of the middle of the boat as the directions suggest works, but you will be zig-zagging across the water. And probably fighting against a current that's out to make you spin in place. Alternate approach if you're going out solo on flat water, sit all the way in the back. It helps quite a bit with keeping a straight line, but wind will be a bigger issue. You can handle wind a little better if you're towards the middle of the boat, but currents are less of an issue in the back. It can't be called a major drawback though because it seems to be the nature of all inflatable kayaks from what I've learned. Maybe the more expensive ones are better at that, but for the price this little thing is pretty good as long as speed isn't a concern.

3. Construction: Solid. Seriously. It's been put through a fair bit since I bought it and it doesn't even have a scratch on it. There are a couple mud stains, but nothing else. No complaints here at all.

In short, I'm glad I bought this thing and am looking forward to spending as much of the summer on it as I can.

I must admit that I have wanted a Sea Eagle inflatable since I was a kid (30 yrs ago). I actually ordered (1) 370 and (1) 330 but they sent me (2) 370 models. I guess it was my lucky day. The boats arrived about 5 days after I placed the order in good condition. Do not use a knife to open the shipping boxes or you run the risk of cutting the boat. I ordered (1) Pro Package and (1) Deluxe Package because my teenage son is using one boat and we just use one Pro seat in each boat for solo trips. The deluxe seats are horrible for back support in the middle of the boat, but work well at the rear because the spray skirt helps with back support. The hardest part of assembly is getting the valve cap keepers on the valve openings. They require some stretching to get them on and some of them won't stay on well. This doesn't affect the seal of the valve caps but it does keep them from getting lost or misplaced. Pumping the three main chambers requires about 100 pumps for each with the included foot pump and two to three for each spray skirt. The seats require about three pumps for the two seperate chambers.I see an electric air pump in my future! I pumped both boats up and pressure tested them for two days and all of the valves held pressure. I did read on another website that it is a good idea to go back and give each valve another twist to prevent any slow leaks while operating the boat. The 370 models have thicker material than the 330's (38mil vs 33mil, so in theory they should be more puncture resistant. The paddles are of a four piece collapsible design. They look to be of reasonable quality and since I will be paddling solo most of the time I have a spare paddle in case something does break (each boat comes with two paddles). The boat also ships with an inflation gauge to ensure proper air pressure and a patch kit.

The maiden voyage of these boats was made on a local lake in a protected cove with winds about 5 MPH. As with any canoe or kayak, getting into it for the first time causes a little anxiety. The initial stability of these boats is not as good as some rented kayaks I have used but the secondary stability is very good. I was expecting bad yaw characteristics which is usually a trademark of inflatable boats but I was pleasantly suprised. The key is to start out with slow and light paddle strokes until up to speed and then the boat can be paddled with more power. When paddling solo the boat performs best if the paddler is seated around the middle. The pro seats are comfortable but they do slide around a little toward the back when entering the boat and getting seated. I will probably get some small caribiners and run some rope to the seats from the spray skirts to keep them from moving back. The wind did affect the boat some and corrective paddle strokes were needed to stay on the intended heading, but that is the case with most other inflatables. I was concerned about the sun heating up the boat and over pressurizing the chambers but the material is a light gray color and the boat stayed relatively cool on this 95 degree day.

This is what I would call a fun boat. It doesn't have foot rests or thigh braces which help transfer power to your paddle, so you aren't going to win any races in it. It will require more energy to move it around. For what it is, it gets the job done. The boats are rated for Class 3 whitewater but I can't see using them for anything but lakes and slow moving and relatively deep rivers. You may be able to use them for deep Class 1 through 3 rivers but most of the whitewater rivers in North Carolina are two feet or less in depth and have a lot of craggy rocks. Dedicated inflatable whitewater boats have a thick rubber coating or heavy fabric outerlayer to prevent cuts and abrasions. The Sea Eagle Sport kayaks are just very thick PVC material which is durable but not enough for my comfort in these conditions. Who wants to have a flat 10 miles upstream in the middle of nowhere? If you are that adventurous, make sure you have your patch kit and foot pump with you.

I wasn't in the financial position to get two hard shell kayaks, paddles, and a roof top carrier. I would have spent $1000.00 minimum to get entry level boats. In my case it was buy the Sea Eagles with paddles and air pumps for less than $500.00 or sit on the shore and watch others have fun.

Being able to pack away a 12 foot long boat with all of the accessories in a duffle bag is very convenient but it is not without some disadvantages. You have to make sure the boat is completely dry before you put it away to prevent mold and mildew. This means either leaving the boat inflated until dry or wiping it down with a towel at the end of the day. The spray skirts are attached with ropes so the boat is going to have to air dry for some amount of time before packing it away to allow the ropes to dry out. Drying the boat is a minor annoyance but just be aware that you aren't going to be able to just pull it out of the water, deflate it, and stuff it in a bag. I had to practice a couple of times folding up the boat so it fits in the bag. I found the best way is to roll it up like a sleeping bag instead of folding it in sections. With the boat and accessories in the bag the whole package is very heavy. The bag only has one shoulder strap so all of the weight is on one side of your body during transport. Two straps would make it a lot easier. I can't see anyone carrying these bags more than 50 yards before taking a break or switching shoulders. It is much easier to carry the inflated boat and paddle if possible.

Overall Sea Eagle makes a good product that peforms well if you recognize its limitations. These boats are are leap up from inflatable pool toys and should hold up well under normal circumstances. The material is probably three times thicker than the cheap boats. I can't think of a better or less expensive way to get out on the water and just have a little fun. - Inflatable Kayaks - Kayak - Inflatable Kayak'

Belkin Slim Back Pack - belkin slim back pack, belkin

Everyone complaining about this bag being too small should have read the reviews before buying it. Yes, it is very "slim." I'm a college student and I had a large Targus backpack before this one, and that was just too large for my everyday needs. When I got this bag I was very surprised at how light it really was. The construction is great. The straps are well padded, and the back of the bag that rests against your back is also well padded. One of the straps has an elastic pouch on it to hold small items like a pack of gum or keys or whatever. It isn't easy to see though, and it lies flush with the surface of the strap when it's not being used. As far as storage goes. I can fit my laptop (a 15.4 inch MacBook Pro), a large textbook, a spiral notebook, a regular 2-pocket folder with stuff in it, 2 portable external hard drives with their USB cables, a pack of gum, 2 pens and pencils (there are only 2 actual pencil/pen holders, but you can use other slots for more), earbuds for my mp3 player, the apple remote for my laptop, and a couple other small things in the main compartment itself. Then in the secondary compartment I have my laptop power supply, the power supply extension cord, a 6-foot firewire cable, my iPod nano, and the iPod connector cable. In the side compartment (where the thin gray section is on the front of the bag in the picture shown) I can fit an audio cable (1/8" to 1/8"), another audio cable (1/8" to RCA stereo), and probably a few more thin things like that. and all of this stuff can go in this bag without over-stuffing or bulging. So, for being such a tiny bag, it can really hold a lot. I've been using it for 1 month now and it has been great. (no zipper problems, tears, or anything. which is what i expected anyway.) so if you're like me, and you only have to carry around maybe one large textbook at a time and your laptop, this is a great bag. It looks good and it is quite comfortable. It's super light and has enough space for what I need. Belkin Slim Backpack (Black/Light Gray)

pros: nice design, just right size, comfortable back and shoulder, looks very neat.

cons: too many useless small inside pockets and no partition, not a good backpack for books,

overall: if you need to carry notebook and small number of other stuffs, buy it. If you need to carry notebook as well as other books and notebooks, forget it.

It fits my macbook pro 17" just perfectly, along with the power cord, the external HDD, my headphones, ethernet cable, and wireless mouse. There's also a mobile phone pocket on the front of the straps. It's extremely compact and stylish. Unlike typical backpacks, it doesn't stick out very far from your back. It's almost like it integrates with you.

Unfortunately, the colour options suck, and the straps sit really stiffly on your shoulders.

UPDATE: I bought this July 20, 2008. It is now April 18, 2011, and both of the bags that I bought have completely crapped out. One of the zippers of the main compartment has snapped off, making it possible to close with only one zipper. The place where the straps attach have started to come undone. We don't mistreat the bags. Both are filled with a laptop, and cell phone, wallet, keys, etc. Possibly the charger, depending on the day, and maybe an extra battery. Mine held a 17" macbook pro, and the husband's held a 15 inch dell xps something or other. Both were used daily (or almost daily) for about an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening (which is roughly the amount of time we'd commute to and from work).

I originally bought another product by Sumdex, which was great, but was too bulky for me (my husband loves it though). So I found this little gem! There is enough room for the laptop, the cables, a mouse, and perhaps a paperback or two (or a couple magazines). This isn't much room, I admit, but that's what allows this back pack to be so slim. It is wonderfully stylish as well. It has plenty of padding to protect the laptop, so don't be concerned about that. Also, has quite a few pockets for smaller items, including a set of pockets inside for an I.D. and credit cards, a zippered pocket money/change, and places for a couple pens. And it's durable!

A great purchase overall. I'd recommend for anyone looking for smaller laptop bag. I'd buy it again if I'd ever have to replace the one I have now.

This little backpack does a great job. It had lots of separate pockets that can carry everything from folders to cords to spare batteries. Very comfortable to carry and stiff padding for the notebook itself. Much lighter than my old laptop over-the-shoulder bag. FYI: The gray is not at all dark. In fact, VERY light.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST INVESTMENTS I'VE EVER MADE!! I JUST PURCHASED A MAC BOOK PRO 17" AND IT FITS PERFECTLY AND THE LINING OF THE BACKPACK IS MADE WITH VELVET TO PROTECT THE LAPTOP!!!! LOL....

I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE!!!!!

I HAVE BOOBS!

Sorry, guys, this review is for the ladies, especially those of us who are "blessed" up top. In my case, I'm really, really blessed, even though I'm more of an average body type otherwise.

This backpack works for me - so many don't. And since it's light, I don't feel "double wide" with boobs in the front and a large backpack in the back. - Belkin - Laptop Bag - Notebook Backpack - Belkin Slim Back Pack'

Swim Fins

As with all products it obviously depends on what you're specifically looking for, but if you're looking for the same things that I was you'll like these fins. I swim purely for fitness and do not compete. These are more for fitness swimming than for competition training. I wanted a very flexible fin with a closed heal. I find that the fins with the straps around the heal tend to rub and irritate. If you want a stiff or semi-stiff fin this is not it. I also didn't want a split fin - I have a pair for scuba and snorkeling but I don't like them for lap swimming. I don't know why they don't include fin length in the product details, but if this is something that's important to you this fin measures about 7.75 inches (approx 19.5cm) from the toe to the tip of the fin, and 7.5 inches (approx. 18.5cm) from edge to edge at the tip of the fin (which is perfect for my needs). I like the resistance that they provide and get a good leg work-out.

As for sizing, they do run small. I wear a woman's size 8 and so I ordered the medium which is supposed to be a 7-8. It's more like a 7-7.5. If you are a true 8 go up a size. If you're a men's 7-8 you really want to jump up because these sizes seem to be based on the women's size scale and there is no way these would fit a man's 7-8 size foot (I wear a men's 6 - 6.5). This size squeezes my toes a bit; but because I was too lazy to send them back for the next size up, I crammed a pair of sandals into them to stretch the toe and it worked; but definitely go a size up if you are on the higher end of the size scale or are a man. I also have a regular width foot with a slightly high arch. The width is perfect and one of the reasons that I really like this fin is that it "molds" with the movement of my foot and stays in-line with my arch. Now that I've stretched them to fit right they really do form to my foot. The foot pockets feel very soft against my feet and there is no stiffness or rubbing anywhere. I can't speak for how it would feel on flatter feet, but they're good for a high arch.

One other thing that may or may not be relevant but that I find interesting is that I have scoliosis (curvature of the spine) - not terribly and not noticeable to the naked eye - but one of my legs feels shorter than the other when I do certain exercises like the backstroke. Normally when I do the backstroke I tend to zig-zag all over my lane no matter how hard I focus on my form. The "longer" leg (that is really just the curve in my spine) tends to send me towards the right and then when I try to compensate I just end up swimming to the left, and back and forth I go. It's very annoying. I've used many fins and for some reason this does not happen with these fins. It wasn't a solution I was looking for, or ever expected, it's just an added benefit. I assume it's because the foot pockets truly are orthopedic. I feel like I have more control and I now swim straight down the middle of my lane and get a far more productive workout.

If these are your same requirements I believe you will be very satisfied with this purchase. I love mine. Speedo Rubber Swim Fins (Small, Yellow)

Wasn't sure what size to get....I wear a size 12 mens shoe, so it appeared the "XXL" would do the trick. PERFECT. Shipping by Amazon was immediate and I had the fins in about 2 days (they were shipped from an adjoining state). Oh, and of course, they work just peachey too.

Have had these fins about a month now and have no complaints. Am using these for snorkeling and swimming in a local lake. They are comfortable during my 30-40 minute swims. The blade is fairly large and provides good propulsion, but also requires a lot of leg strength if you want to push them hard. For easy swims they seem to be about right and you will still work your legs plenty. I have a size 12 foot with a high instep and do fine in the XXL size (green). These fins do not float. I think they are a good item for the price provided you order the correct size.

The fins are great, they propel you through the water at high speed. They were worth the price and perform to meet all my needs.

However...

- Stand on rocks under water scrape them pretty easily so I'm worried about their lifespan.

- The flippers over constant use morph so they may not fit right or look like they use to.

- They are not as snug as you would feel comfortable to use, but they have yet to fall off.

That's my review, if you want a good cheap pair of flippers I would recommend these.

These fins are great! They aren't huge like the ones you always saw when you were a kid. In fact they look so short that you might wonder if they'll do anything for you. Well, swim a few laps, then take them off and it's like night and day! The power they give you makes swimming laps a breeze! I bought some Speedo swim socks to wear with the flippers, and between the two the comfort level is so great you barely know you're wearing them.

I had looked up the sizing chart on this product and had purchased a large according to what I had found. The fins were way too small! Toes were pinched and were sticking out of the top. My recommendation is to order a larger size than the chart says.'

Dewalt Angle Grinder - bosch, angle grinders

I used this blade on a recent roofing job. To cut a groove in a chimney, while installing some flashing. This blade turns brick into a cloud of red dust leaving a very precise and clean cut. I was more than pleased with the results. Two thumbs up on this blade. From my experience it goes through brick like a hungry monster.I do recommend this blade highly. Now get out there and cut some bricks. DEWALT DW4701 Industrial 4-1/2-Inch Dry or Wet Cutting Continuous Rim Diamond Saw Blade with 7/8-Inch Arbor

There are dozens of ways to cut materials with varying degrees of success. If you already use the standard ones, especially a sawzall with a full set of blades you might feel you have your bases covered. But this Diamond cutting rim attached to a small angle grinder like the DEWALT D28402K makes life so much easier. I purchased one for a bathroom renovation and steam room project and needed something that would cut everything from cement board to concrete to wire mesh. This blade exceeded all my expectations. The cuts are straight and true and it eats through everything like a hot knife through butter. I found myself reaching for it to make quick cuts in sometimes cramped places and in seconds the job was done. It did some cuts that would have been impossible using anything else. If you're a DIYer you might not have considered owning a small angle grinder or a diamond saw blade in the past. But once you've used one like this Dewalt, you'll be very happy you added it to your tool arsenal.

I thought the blade worked great. I did find out after I had purchased the blade and angle grinder that they (Dewalt) recommend a 2-sided shield to attach to their grinder when using a cutting blade. I needed it for making curved cuts in 1/2" porcelain tile and I was waiting on the item to complete the job so I put on goggles, mask and ear protection and went for it. You will definitely need to wear a mask and goggles and blow out your grinder periodically with compressed air as it creates a lot of fine dust. The blade cut through the tile beautifully - I made a few passes so the blade would not have to work so hard. I had tried cutting the tile with other diamond-tipped jigsaw and rotary tool blades and nothing compares to the efficiency of this blade and the grinder.

I have used lots of grinding wheel but this is the most universal one to date. I cut off lag bolts from the floor easily. I have trimmed up some concrete and no problems. The most interesting thing is that the blade itself remains cool to the touch. I was amazed by that. Even though the bolts you cut off are red hot the blade is still cool. Nice to have such versatility in one blade.

I've been cutting through the tough concrete foundation of the house to install underground electrical service conduit. After using this one for a few hours I changed it out with a Bosch segmented blade (the kind with slots) and didn't notice much difference in the ease of deep cutting. In fact this DeWalt blade seemed to do a tiny bit better. So this is a quality blade.

Finally got around to using this blade on my angle grinder. Used it to cut through clay blocks plastered with concrete. Made over 50ft of cutting and it still works like I just took it out of the packaging. - Grinder - Diamond Blades - Angle Grinders - Bosch'

Bargainsell did not send me the rigth case. They sent me an entirely different silicone case for the psp 3000 that you have to take off teh entire case just to switch a game disc. It does not have the flap that you can take off to open the insert disc slot. It is not what i ordered, and it's deceiving because I bought something that showed me PICTURES of what I would be getting, and then i get something entirely different. I am waiting for them to reply to me so i can get what i ACTUALLY ordered. BLACK Soft Rubber Jelly Silicone Skin Cover Case for Sony Play Station Portable PSP 3000

I love this silicone case. I tried several cases on my PSP to use with my EyePet game, and none would allow the camera to attach. This case allows me to cut away the area I need to attach the camera, and still remains snug on the PSP. I love being able to protect my PSP and play my current favorite game!

If you want a flap you'll have to modify this skin yourself which would require cuticle scissors and duct tape or rubber adhesive. Reviewers 1 and 2 were absolutely right about the picture on this page being incorrect and deceiving. The pros of this product are the protection from prints and scratches and a different feel but also a degree of water resistance and shock absorbancy. If you only play one UMD disc I would say, 'go for it,' but if you like to change games often then you might consider not buying this product or buying it and attempting the modification I suggested. So far cutting my own back flap has worked but it detracts from the aesthetics. You'd still have to remove the rubber skin to change battery packs. Because the material is rubber, regular adhesives don't stick very well. I tried velcro strips but that didn't work with this material. I tried masking tape to keep the flap close to the UMB bay door but again that didn't work. The best temporary solution I've found is regular duct tape applied to the upper back bay door and thus far (a few hours of game playing) has kept the flap close but I'm sure the tape will have to be changed regularly. It's a temporary functional work around. I might go so far as appying a smidge of rubber adhesive to the back bay door which would probably work better than duct tape. I just don't have any around. I'm not recommending any of these actions just reporting what I did.

ORDER THIS PRODUCT FOR MY SON RECIEVED IT FAST BUT NOT THE ONE SHOWN IN PICTURE.. CONTACTED SELLER THEY SAID WE WILL SHIP OUT THE RIGHT ONE AGAIN CAME FAST BUT THE WRONG ONE AGAIN TRY TO CONTACT A SECOND TIME THAT WENT NO WERE SO NEVER ORDER FROM HIM AGAIN

Fits nicely, looks awesome, and really comfortable, too! Only flaw is having to unattach and reattach the flap on the back when changing games, since I don't see any way of improving this, I really can't complain. At this price (under $5 w/shipping), worth buying wholesale and reselling at a cart in the mall, pawn shop, or personally owned game shop. Definately an idea the bigwigs missed out on! - Black - Psp Case - Protector - Psp 3000'

Keyless Lock - electronic lock, keyless deadbolt

I paid $67. for this lock through Amazon. This is about half of the original cost. It is a very good buy for a keyless lock. I used the lock on an outside door for an outside building with a small overhang over the door. The overhang prevents direct exposure of the lock to ice, snow and rain.

It has been a pleasure to have this lock as my sons would constantly misplace the keys for the old lock. This alone made the lock well worth purchasing. However, make sure that you use very good , name brand, and fresh batteries with this lock. Cheaper batteries will cause the lock to not work very well when it is very cold outside, as it has been in the Northeast this winter. The batteries are relatively easy to change and hopefully will last for, at least, months at a time. Back-up keys are also provided if the batteries fail unexpectedly.

Be aware that this lock does not have a feature of more expensive keyless locks. More expensive locks have a switch so that it will not automatically re-lock itself on the outside once the door is opened. This lock always re-locks itself on the outside. I live with it because of the cheaper cost. Besides, this can be a benefit for people that forget to lock a door.

It has worked well for the last month since I installed very good batteries. As I had mentioned before, it is also operating perfectly under brutal conditions this winter. This lock is a cheaper version of a much more expensive, name brand, keyless lock that I had bought for my house. But for the money, the pleasure of a keyless lock, and the ease of installation, I feel that it is a very good buy from Amazon. Electronic Keyless Door Lock Set - Satin Nickel (*For Right Hand Doors Only), #415R

This product solved many problems in our home. Let me explain. My wife and I are foster parents and one of the children placed in our home had a problem with "sticky fingers" so we decided we needed to keep our room locked at all times. With the standard door lock for interior doors that can be picked with a hanger, this was a huge pain as we were always loosing the "key" and we also found out our child knew how to pick the lock by themselves. So knowing that we needed a better lock that didn't require a key, we decided to purchase this electronic door lock.

The handle and lock has a really nice polished nickel look that appears to be really expensive. Installation was a breeze in my existing door with no modifications to my door necessary (and I'm no handy man). The door has a few nice features like after 3 wrong codes are entered, it does not take any codes for 60 seconds. This is great for stopping kids who think that if they try to guess the code enough times they will get it to open. Also, it lets you set 2 different codes between 3 and 8 digits long so my wife and I could each have our own code (which confused the kids who tried to look over our shoulder when we went in our room). Setting or changing the code is really easy as well and only requires the removal of one screw on the panel on the inside of the door. Last, the lock comes with a key in case the code is forgotten or the batteries die. In the picture you can see a small cut out on the handle - the key has a magnet on the end and when you put the key on the cover it pulls it off and exposes the key slot.

So anyway, with this lock, we close our bedroom door closed behind us every time we leave our room and know that our stuff is safe. And when we want to go back inside, we don't have to worry about having a key with us but just enter our code and walk on in. It has made life a lot easier in our hectic home.

We bought this to restrict customer access from employee-only areas in a pizza delivery shop. We have a high traffic door from lobby to kitchen used frequently by our delivery drivers that was either (a) always being left unlocked or (b) employees were constantly having to stop what they were doing to open it for an authorized entrant. This keypad installed easily, Is attractive, and appears to be well made and equal to the commercial grade hardware that it replaced. Works like a charm and now we don't have to worry about employees leaving the door unlocked and having our security breached. I was pleasantly surprised by the illuminated keypad which lights up at first touch. Another nice feature is the ability to have two active combinations so that a temporary one can be given to a contractor or delivery person without changing the main one the employees know and routinely use. We'll now see if it stands the test of time (it's only been in for a week), but the initial impressions are all good. - Keyless Deadbolt - Electronic Lock - Doorknobs - Door Hardware'

Baume And Mercier - baume, automatic

This is a beautiful watch and my fiance absolutely loves it! It was exactly what we had picked out at a much more expensive jewelry store for half of the price. It is gorgeous. The only reason why I didn't give give stars is that I discovered after we purchased the watch that the warranty will not work because we did not purchase the watch from an authorized dealer. If we needed to send the watch in it would not be covered under warranty by Baume & Mercier Baume & Mercier Men's 8731 Classima Automatic Strap Watch

I recently ordered this watch because I fell in love with it after seeing it in person. Upon receiving it I took it out and wore it for a day(after winding it to charge it as directed in the manual). That is when I discovered the watch was gaining 15 seconds per day. I reset the watch and tested it again, only to find it was still gaining time. I called Amazon to figure out what to do about the matter. They told me I could send it to the warranty repair center and I would have it back five days after they received it. Upon talking to the warranty place they told me I would have to pay to ship it to them and it was take at least 4 to 6 weeks. Of course I didn't want to wait that long to wear the watch again so I called amazon back and asked them just to replace my current watch. They told me they could do that but since I took it out, they would have to send it through their "service" to check over the watch and they would then charge me an unknown percentage of the cost of the watch as they saw fit based on the condition. Take into account this is only a few days after I bought the watch and have only been wearing it around my house, but I didn't know what they were going to find wrong with it since they sent me a broken watch in the first place. They also told me it would take 4 to 6 weeks for them to process the watch after I sent it to them, and I would have to pay the difference then before the new watch was sent to me. So basically it is a beautiful watch, but pray that there is nothing wrong with it when it comes in the mail. I ended up sending it to the warranty place because although horrible, it was the best option. - Automatic - Baume - Chronograph - 8591'

Image Stabilization - canon, telephoto

The short version:

Pros:

The optical quality is great, the speed is terrific, and it compares well to the 70-200mm lens that people like to say blows this out of the water (I believe they are wrong - but we will get into that later) and finally, the price cannot be beaten. Buy it.

Cons:

No hood, extends as it zooms, and the quality of the picture in low light situation lessens a little.

The long version:

I am writing this in simple terms. I found several, several reviews on this lens but they were all in technical terms and leaves you scratching your head a little. So, if you are like me maybe this review will help you.

I bought this lens a couple months ago from US1Photo.com (check these guys out. They regularly have significant sales and terrific customer service). I use this lens with a Canon 40D.

I take several types and styles of pictures so I needed a lens that would do the best job at several things and have a very affordable price (right at or less than $1,000). I looked through new, used, third party (Tamron, Sigma, etc) lenses, and read too many reviews and looked at too many images to count, and spent four hours in a photography store playing with lenses before I decided to spend money and take advantage of this lens. All in all I spent about a week's worth of time in research and testing before I bought this lens.

Edit:

Okay, so amazon won't let me put a link here. This is how you find me.

And that should take you there.

Test of comment #1:

~The Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM does not track moving objects very well and the farther to the end of the zoom the slower the tracking.

(Flickr Gallery page 2)

This, I have found, to be completely wrong. I have used the lens at several sporting events and found that it tracks rather nicely. I was able to track every step of a base-runner from first base to second, slide, and recovery after the play without losing ONE shot.

To see what I am talking about check out my gallery on Flickr. The older ones are NOT done with this lens or camera and taken, actually, several years ago. I will reference the pictures in question.

Safe, Got There By a Mile, Breaking Up That Double Play (please note that as time goes on from the date that this was posted the pictures may have been re-moved). Also, "Safe" was used instead of another shot taken at the same time and angle with a 70-200mm IS lens.

To take these shots I used "AI focus" and the "H" settings on my camera for quicker tracking and the H settings for about 6 frames per second.

Test of Comment #2:

~The 200-300mm range is nice in theory, but a tack-sharp photo from the 70-200mm f/4L at 200mm is going to look better cropped than a 300mm full-frame photo from this lens.

Again, I found this to be wrong. Though I have no actual "full sized" picture for this if you comment back with an email address then we can arrange a viewing of one. Otherwise, take my word for it, I own several lenses and this one stacks up well.

(Ref Flickr Gallery)

The pictures from the Dance Theater and Tashina were all taken at the 200-300mm focus lengths. Again, they are not full sized because of photo pirates, but if you email me we can see about full sized shots.

Test of Comment #3:

~The IS motor is loud

I do not know what these people are talking about, but if you call that loud...

On the other hand, I have heard (once), the sound of the IS motor, but if you are not listening for it you will not even notice it.

Things I have found about the lens:

If you spend some time with the lens will be one of your best friends. It is a great lens especially for people on a budget (like me). To take the best pictures you cannot just twist it on and go to shooting. Take the time to LEARN about the lens (change shutter speeds, ISO settings, aperture, white balances, etc) and it will show you where it shines - just like the L series lenses and the 70-200mm IS.

This lens has a solid make and feels like it will last forever. Then again, as you zoom the lens does extend and is plastic. So, watch out if you are doing sports. You may get it knocked off. It did well for me, though. Extending while zooming makes putting a hood on the lens a bit (very little; so little that you cannot tell) awkward and it looks kinda goofy.

I like the lens because it is not as bulky as the 70-200mm lens and it is extremely mobile. It is as quick as some other lenses, not as quick as some, and quicker than others. It will give you great quality pictures. It does have its limits, however: in low light situations not being able to take it back a couple stops and get a wider aperture will not give you the same shot as a 70-200mm. Then again, like I said, it doesn't drop to that f/2.8 and does not cost all that money. This has been the single drawback for me about the lens.

I use this lens for portraits (Tashina, Samantha), for sports (see gallery), and music (Shawn Pander - See Gallery). So, it's pretty versatile. I have yet to use with it flash, but that is because I simply do not like to use flash. I have yet to use it in a studio setting, but when I do I will amend this review and add a couple of those pictures as well.

This lens comes highly recommended from me. I am not a big time, highly paid, or well known photographer. I just like to shoot and like what I shoot to be of the best quality that I can have AND afford at the time. So, if you are like me and cannot spend the needed $1,500 - $1,700 on a 70-200mm IS lens then spend your money on this lens. You will not be sorry for it.

---

On another note, comments are welcome. This is my first ever review on here so let me know if there anything else that you would like to know about and I will do my best to answer the question in the most plain terms as possible. Battery Chargers - battery chargers, jump starter

This unit was used by a rep of the super-reliable American Automobile Association (AAA) to jump start my 2004 Toyota Sienna in one minute flat late on a Sunday afternoon after I failed to start the vehicle (a) with a 450 AMP booster purchased from a discount warehouse, (b) with a lesser capacity Black & Decker unit, and (c) with booster cables connected to a nearby car. While I thought I had done everything possible to protect against such a situation (and the battery was a 1 year 10-month Sears DieHard), nothing worked until AAA showed up with the Clore ES5000. Since I cannot afford to have this happen in a remote location such as Northern Wisconsin where I have a summer cottage, I immediately ordered one. Hope my experience (and yours) is the same as that of the AAA rep. Booster PAC ES5000 12V Portable Battery Booster Pack

This is essentially the same booster pack that Century made about 5 years ago, just bigger. My Century pack (ES2500) has worked well the times I have needed it. The only problem with the Century pack is during cold weather the charging lights will come on when pushing the test button and stay on. (I just don't push the button anymore during the winter unless I plan on charging it). They don't draw much voltage (they were on for over two weeks before I saw them and the pack was still almost fully charged). The new pack hasn't done that to me yet. My Century pack has started 4 cylinder cars with the temps hitting 10 degrees below Farenheit.

This new and bigger pack is heavier but very similar in every other way. I bought this one to be sure that I could jump my 8 cylinder pickup. I never tried the old pack on the bigger motor.

I wanted this Booster Pack for my truck and then put the old one in my wife's car. I just charge the packs about every 4-5 months and have never had a problem. I combined this with a small 12 volt air compressor to keep in each vehicle to be as ready as I can during my drives with the military.

This item is top notch. I use it to jump start salvage vehicles everyday. I used it today to start a 2004 Ford Expedition, two 08 Prius's, three Yaris's and the booster still showed full charge. This thing is a monster. I really like it and highly recommend it.

Being fair I have had several types of battery boosters and this one is by far the best one for the money I've ever used . Portable easy to use and capable of starting my Dead F-450 6.0 twin battery diesel truck when jumpers a good battery charger and my old battery Booster couldn't . Best part I didn't by new battery for over a week and jumped the truck off at least 6 times without charging the Battery Booster Impresive by Any standards . - Battery Chargers - Battery Booster - Jump Starter - Nice Product'

Grill Accessories - stove accessories, coleman grill

This is what I needed and seems to be good quality. Minus one star because the price is so high.

It was hard to tell from the description (here at Amazon and other web sites) if the connectors on this hose were correct for my needs and how it attaches. I ordered it anyway and luckily it is what I needed to connect a propane tank (the type that is normally used for an outdoor grill) to my 25-year old 2-burner Coleman camp stove. One end of this hose has the same connector you find at the top of the small 16oz Coleman propane cylinders -- so it attaches to the metal tube connector that normally goes between a 16oz cylinder and the stove. The other end of this hose attaches to larger propane tanks like the new one I just bought. I don't know what a 20# tank is, but mine is like 3 gallons in size -- the usual kind that people use for outdoor grills. I found out, however, that it does not fit the quick-release connection that I have on a different propane tank that came with my Weber grill. I'll have to see if there's a (quick release) adapter available so that I can use this hose with that other propane tank also. Coleman High-Pressure Propane Hose and Adapter

This thing is nicely designed and built. Just to emphasize what others have already said - it connects the 20 pound propane tank to the regulator on the stove. *It does not connect directly to the stove - you still need a regulator!* The regulators on the newer stoves are on metal tubes with 45 degree angles, the regulators on the older stoves are on rubber tubes.

It makes so much more sense to use a refillable big propane tank than to dump those little empties in the land fill.

Bought this for my portable Weber 386002 Q 100 Portable Propane Gas Grill; works perfectly with 20lb propane tanks.

Works like a charm, but CAUTION: If you plan on disconnecting the 20lb tank with the hose, you may receive some propane blow off. THIS IS OK! It is just the build up within the 5 foot hose.

HOW TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE:

Towards (or at) the end of cooking, close the propane nossel to off while keeping the grill turned on high. This will burn off all the leftover propane in the line. I usually turn it off within 3 minutes left of cooking as to not waste it; sometimes it'll continue burning, slower and slower, for 5 minutes after.

EXPERIENCE: The only problem that I have with Coleman, is that most of their propane gear is designed to use the small propane cylinders. This forces us to spend $25.00 on a high pressure hose adapter. And Coleman knows that you are going to need it, as you can't run a stove for very long on a 16-OZ propane cylinder. I guess for most of you that go camping, wouldn't need this at all. But for those of us using this at home, you need this to hookup to your 20-gallon tank.

I have not had any problem at all with this hose adapter. However, I feel the need to put a warning out there for you folks. This side of the hose which attaches to your propane tank, does not use right handed threads! You must rotate it counter clockwise, to get it to attach to your tank. Get it tight, but not too tight either!

The hose has a nice 5-foot length to it, so this way you can keep your propane tank a good distance away from the stove, I like that. The other end of the hose attaches to your stove via right handed threads, so just go clockwise with that one. I don't even need to open the valve on my propane tank all the way, just one turn is enough.

The stove uses a fixed regulator setting, so no adjustment is necessary. All I have to do, is hold the flame of my barbecue lighter up to the burners, and then open the valves. They ignite almost instantaneously, and then I can began cooking my food. I have had 0 issues with pressure flow, so I believe this hose to be a quality piece.

CONCLUSION: You may not need this hose adapter if you are going on camping trips. However, if you plan to use this at home, you probably should consider getting one. I have had 0-issues with this hose, and I highly recommend it. 5-STARS

THIS IS A FABULOUS ADD ON FOR ANY GAS GRILL PURCHASED TO USE WITH A SMALL BOTTLE OF PROPANE, IT IS VERY EASY TO FIT INTO ANY LARGE OR SMALL PROPANE TANK BECAUSE OF THE HANDLE. THE PART THAT FITS TO THE GRILL NEEDS TO BE VERY TIGHT THOUGH, IF YOU DON'T TIGHTEN IT VERY WELL THE GAS WILL NOT FLOW INTO GRILL, TAKE THIS IN CONSIDERATION IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET FRUSTRATED WHEN INSTALLING IT.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I have a Coleman stove/grill combo and this adaptor connects perfectly to the big propane gas tank. Small tanks are portable, but for longer usage this adaptor really helps.

To help understand, Amazon should show an image connecting the stove's L-shaped metal connector to the adaptor cable, and would help future buyers a lot (I mean the pic which is on the product manual)

I purchased this to hook up a standard propane tank to a tabletop heater, which would normally use a baby propane tank.

Works great, no propblems or complaints.

Much better throughput than the smaller tanks.

Cheers,

Kimball Morgan

I recently purchased the Paul Jr. Designs Coleman RoadTrip Grill and wanted to connect it to a 20-lb propane gas cylinder. I looked up and found this Coleman High-Pressure Propane Hose and Adapter on Amazon.com, and from the description, it said "Great for use with coleman road trip grills or lanterns." I saw other hoses that were selling at lower prices but I wanted to pair the Grill with the hose from the same company.

I connected the hose to the regulator and connected the regulator to the grill with no problem. Then when I tried to connect the hose to the 20-lb gas cylinder, I found that the threads are left-hand threads (counter-clock wise). Once I realized that, the hose connected to the tank perfectly.

The quality of the hose seems high. The connection was perfect. The steaks were done perfectly. Just remember to shut the tank first after cooking is done before turning off the burners. This will burn off the residual gas left inside the hose. - Coleman Grill - Accessories - Stove Accessories - Grill Accessories'

Wireless Speaker

I ordered one of these speakers for my husband for a birthday gift, reasoning that if he liked it, I would get another so that he would have stereo sound outdoors. We hooked it up tonight, and it has worked great for us. The setup only took a few minutes, and the sound clarity is excellent. It also looks good--either sitting or hanging. Although it's mono right now, it sounds fantastic--good enough that I'm ordering another so that we'll have stereo sound. I must note that we are very close to the sound source--ten to fifteen feet, so I can't speak for longer ranges. The speaker can be either plugged into an outlet (adapter included) or powered by batteries. We have ours plugged in, and don't intend to use batteries, so consider battery life if you don't have an outlet handy. Overall, we're really impressed by these speakers. I'll update if we encounter any problems. Audiovox Acoustic Research AW826 Main Street Outdoor Wireless Speaker (Black)

Contacted Audiovox about "noise",popping noises.Response was "It's wireless anything can interfere with it".I had the speaker set up approx. 20 feet from the transmitter.Don't buy this product,if you do expect to feel ripped off.

This speaker is really cute; however, it STOPPED WORKING the second time I used it. The first time I used it it worked like a charm and I really like it. However, the next time I used it was horrible. It would be working and then it sounds like the speaker blows out. The light goes to stanby and it is impossible to make it work again. I don't believe that it gives off a strong enough signal to work. I literally had the signal equipment about 10 feet away on the inside of my house and we were sitting on the deck. The noise that it makes when the signal does not come through is extremely startling and unpleasant. I would return this product in a heartbeat, yet I cut the box to open it up. I would not recommend this product. The signal isn't high enough quality.

I would expect a good quality product from AR and I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the sound and of course it worked out of the box. Walking with it to the outside edge of my yard, at least 80ft from the transmitter which was indoors while the speaker was playing, did not result in any loss of sound or any variation of volume at all. The transmitter works perfectly on the line output from my cable box or DVD/CD player so no headphone amplifier is required to boost the signal which is the case with some competitors. I will be ordering another three for placement around my back yard! Tip: If you get popping noises then change the channel (there are three on the transmitter). Also check if you have an old style cordless phone or wi-fi router that may be causing interference.

The unit "died" within 2 weeks of setting it up outside under a covered space. Took forever to get them to get back to me on where & how to return it, then I get a bill for nearly the price I paid to fix it. They say it is and out of warranty defect (it has a 12 month warranty, I have only had it a couple months) but have not gotten back to me on what it is our what that means only saying that I need to send in a check or it will be sent back not fixed. Horrible customer service and horrible product DO NOT BUY! STAY AWAY!'
