Strapless Heart Rate Monitor - heart rate monitor, heart rate monitor watch
This watch is loaded with features: It accurately measures out your heart rate, it calculates how many calories you've burned through exercise, it's a full-function stop watch, you can even imput how many calories you've consumed and will sound an alarm when you've exceded your daily limit. I've had mine for two years and the only thing I had to do was change the battery. Mio Classic Select Heart Rate Monitor Watch
I've been using this monitor with TurboFire/Chalean Extreme and similar cardio workouts for close to a year. I read some of the other reviews about how it's hard to get a reading while actively jogging, etc. That could be true. I usually check my heart rate at natural breaks during my workout, where I'm transitioning from one move to another. For that type workout, it gets a read quickly and accurately - at least, it's a consistent reading based on how I feel. I'm actually addicted to using the monitor and don't enjoy my workouts as much without it. Guess I like getting feedback about how hard I'm working or something.
Cons: it is bulky and not exactly attractive. But I'm sweaty and not exactly attractive when I'm wearing it, right????
Bottom line, luv it...luv it!
Overall, this heart rate monitor watch was a big disappointment. As for accuracy, the monitor was pretty close to the heart rate monitors on the treadmills at the gym. The problem with this monitor is that it works very inconsistently. Sometimes, it will give a reading in a matter of seconds. Most times, however, the little heart icon will flash as if it is taking a reading but it never actually displays one. If you keep the button pushed down long enough with no results displayed, it reverts back to the clock. One evening, I spent a good hour pressing and repressing the heart monitor button and never did get a result. Would recommend NOT buying this item.
1) Accurate heart rate (concurred with machine heart rate monitors) 2)Inexpensive 3) Acceptably comfortable .
I've read some of the other reviews and one in particular helped me to get an accurate heart rate every time. The keys are to use the pads of your fingers, not the tips, and also to make sure that there is contact between the metal battery cover and the top of your wrist while taking a reading. Even when running at a good pace I get an accurate heart rate. So far so good ... had it about a month now.
My new watch is really a hi-tech item. It adds all your daily calories, and then subtracts them as you exercise, which gives you a running total of your calorie expenditure. Doubling as a heart rate monitor, you can check your heart rate as you exercise. I am very pleased with this item.
I bought this watch about three weeks ago, and it's a fairly good watch. However, it doesn't give the most accurate readings (compared to those that have the separate chest strap). Also, it's a bit bulky, but I got used to it. For the price, I'm pleased with my purchase!
Not having a bulky chest belt seemed like a great idea, unless you want to know what your heart rate is. The MIO unit said 64, 128, 192, etc. It is so inaccurate as to be useless. This is my first review because I want to help someone else avoid wasting their money and adding stress to their excersize routine. - Strapless Heart Rate Monitor - Heart Rate Monitor - Watches - Heart Rate Monitor Watch'

Htc Thunderbolt Screen Protector - amzer, htc
Received the item ok but, it is junk. at least the one i got is defective and does not work. I have the HTC Thunderbolt and the phone does not recognize the charger at all. the light on the charger comes on and that is it. For only a couple of bucks i will not even waste more time or effort trying to send it back. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra for a quality charger. Advice I should have followed in the first place. Premium Car Charger For HTC ThunderBolt
I've used a lot of electronic equipment over the years and have never had a product fail this fast. It worked great for the first month but it just quit working on me. I highly recommend buying a more robust product.
Chris
Cheap is the word. It doesn't cost much but it feels like it. Very light. But so light it feels insubstantial. It works just fine. It's just that it's feel gives me concern about its longevity. But for the money? It's well worth it. You can feel confident it will work. If you like heavier, spend more money.
This charger is working well for me. I pretty much use it at least once a day while driving because the original battery on the Thunderbolt doesn't last very long when all functionality of the phone is turned on. - Htc - Thunderbolt - Amzer - Hard Case'

Picked this item up while looking for something to help me with stabilizing shots for various production work. Could not be happier with it! Easy to put together, also came with the "low bar" for the low shots and following action.
Used it with the Canon T2i, and Canon HG20 without any issues, A+ rating and a great price. SIMA SCM-QR Hand Held Digital Video Camera Stabilizing System
Wow! I can't believe I paid [...] bucks for this... Video cam stabilizers are definitely not cheap, but this a true stabilizer for $30! The only downfall is the instructions, but assembly is basically self explanatory... If you are buying a stabilizer than you already know the deal. The instructions do show the many configurations available, which is amazing. The base weight is great too. Buy this immediately. It is out of stock everywhere else!
I read some reviews a while ago and honestly I remember it being a one star product but recently it appears to be rated 5 stars so I took a chance... why not for the price, right? WRONG!! While some of the pieces can be used for other things, as a "stabilizer" you are honestly better off using your hands. I can see how one would market it as a stabilizer because of the weight at the bottom and it may increase your shot stability by 10% but that's about as much as I would give it. Now that I have it, I really can't imagine when or why I would use it. My advice would be save up for one that works! - Camcorder Accessories - Manfrotto - Camcorder - Film Making'

Gps System Accessories - gps mount, cup holder mount
At first I was skeptical about buying this item. After receiving it and trying it I felt better about my purchase. My personal opinion is that it's the best GPS cup holder on the market. Doesn't interfere with your vision , since you don't mount it on the window. The unit fits tight in the cup holder after adjusting it. The suction of the GPS holder is firm. It definitely looks neat in your cup holder. I'm glad I purchased this item for the price. Small investment pays off big. You can't go wrong !! Bracktron Mount, Universal Cup Holder Mount
Love this GPS cup mount holder...I have been through 3 different GPS holders and this by far is the easiest and most convenient and a real great design. You can adjust the size to fit in your cup holder ion your car...
I purchased a 2011 Chevy Malibu with Bluetooth capability, and matching my iPhone to the sound system was easy. What I wanted was real hands free calling. I could use voice commands for certain caller functions. I could answer and end the call using buttons on the steering wheel. What I couldn't do is look up numbers and dial without holding the phone. I searched Amazon for phone mount options and selected the Bracketron Swivel Mount and the related Universal Cup Holder Mount. I tried using the Swivel Mount suction cup on the windshield, but the reach of the bendable "arm" was too short. With two cup holders in the console, I placed the Cup Holder Mount in one,and simply turned the Holder to increase it's diameter to assure it stayed in place. I then suction mounted the Swivel phone holder to the Cup Holder Mount. It's not perfect, but it's as close to perfect as I have figured out for the Malibu application. It's been road tested and approved.
My gps is 7", too big to put anywhere on my windshield. This was the PERFECT solution for my problem. It fits perfectly in my cupholder. I should have bought this item sooner. Fits securely and is very easy to remove
Once my phone mount fell off my windshield, I knew I had to find a better way. I spent over $100 trying to get this right... then I purchased this product from Bracketron. It's sturdy and well-made, fits snug into my cupholder and I didn't even need to adjust it (but you can for added sturdiness) inside the cupholder. It doesn't rattle and acts like a permanent fixture in your car.
The only downside to this product is that it didn't come with industrial double-sided adhesive, like you get when you purchase a GPS or cellphone mount. I was hoping that once you peel away the plastic from the top, it would have the adhesive all along the top and ready to go. The one I used for my windshield mount could not be recycled so I was stuck with another problem.
My fix? I purchased industrial-grade adhesive magnets and stuck it to the top of this cupholder platform... and magnets on the bottom of the cellphone mount. Seems to work for now, but will update you if anything goes wrong.
What would make this product perfect is if you can raise the platform a few inches (somehow). The cupholder platform does get in the way of some of my car consol controls. Just my 2 cents.
My new Garmin nüvi 1350 Series 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator came with a suction cup mount that's intended for a windshield, but I didn't want to mount it there. The heavy beanbag type dashboard mount gadgets didn't appeal to me either, in light of the configuration of my car - an old Subaru Outback.
My car has a pop-out cupholder* mounted high up on the front of the dashboard, a bit right of center - handy for the person in the front passenger seat or the driver. When I saw this cupholder mounting platform I realized that using this in the pop-out cupholder was an ideal solution for my new GPS in this car. It requires no gluing, drilling or other permanent changes to the vehicle, and can be removed literally in a few seconds for convenience and security.
This gadget easily adjusts, by expanding and contracting in diameter by use of the external adjusting ring, to be secure in the cupholder and then to be removed. The mounting bracket that came with my Garmin connects securely by its suction cup to the top mounting platform, and when in place my GPS sits at a level high enough to easily see while driving, without obstructing the view through the windshield. It's the same height as it would be if mounted on the top of the dashboard or low on the windshield, but closer to the driver.
I don't think I'd like to mount my GPS where I'd have to look away from the road and down at it, so I doubt that I'd use this mounting system in a car with cupholders only down near seat level. (For those configurations I think you'd need one of those holders with a gooseneck extender to raise the GPS unit several inches.)
My only quibble isn't a problem with this device, but with the configuration of the Subaru's upper cupholder. This device isn't long enough to seat itself at the bottom of the cupholder so there can be a little sway with the movement of the car. But it's not a big deal, and I could probably find something to fill the small space between the bottom of this gadget and the base of the cupholder to prevent the swaying.
*This is in addition to the single cupholder located at seat level in in the console between the driver and passenger seat. Which is the one I use for its intended purpose. - Cup Holder Mount - Electronic Device Holder - Gps Mount'

Universal Usb Car Charger Adapter
I think that this charger is the best car charger for an iphone/ipod that money can buy. It is super compact, easy to use and doesn't need a long cord to be stored along with it. All you need is the usb cable that comes along with your device. Nokia Evo 4G Inspire 4G Optimus S LS670 Ascend M860 Epic 4G SPH-D700 Captivate i897 Fascinate Galaxy S SCH-I500 Torch 9800 Droid Incredible Cosmos VN250 Universal Mini USB Car Charger Adapter(White)
This unit actually sticks out of the lighter socket quite a ways, but since there seems to be no firm standard for lighter socket depth, YMMV.
Regardless, it works, and protrudes less than most of the USB lighter-socket chargers, with negligible chance of being too short to make contact (like a "low profile" one I also bought at Amazon).
BTW, it doesn't appear that Sony has anything to do with this charger, at all -- minus 1 star for fibbery.
This is a $4 replacement for a $29.99 iPhone charger, and bluetooth headset charger, and GPS charger. Just use your own cables. The landfills will be less full because of it. I saved $90.00! This product rocks! I bought 1 for each car!'

Car Audio - wiring kits, car audio
First, this kit does not appear to contain 8g wire. I noticed that it seemed flimsy on initial install. When i replaced the wire later, I compared it to known 8 AWG wire, and it was clearly thinner.
Second, there are not enough terminals included. I had to buy add'l (~$[...]).
Third, the fuse block is neither integrated into the primary wire, nor are connections provided. Once again, I needed to purchase butt connectors to wire in the fuse.
Fourth, and most important, this kit is a fire risk. I returned to my car to find the wire completely burned, with char marks all around it. Eventually, the wire had melted the terminal from the battery. Apparently there had been a short (though i never found it), or else the wiring was not of the advertised capacity. However, the included 60A fuse didn't blow. So the wiring is either undersized, or the fuse was oversized, or both. Either way, this is a dangerous setup. Steer well clear. By the time you buy the necessary additional terminals and connectors, you're better off buying the parts separately. Pyramid PBIN3 1000 Watt 20 Feet Amplifier Installation Wiring Kit
Small gauge wires, cheap, but the price was cheap to, so you get what you pay for. So far, works great. Lots of length in the cables, I used it for a boat and had feet of extra wires... Connections on the weak side along with the remote wire, super thin!
We use our boat in the summer months primarily so spending a lot was not an option. - Car Audio - Amplifier Wiring Kits - Wiring Kits'

Laser Star Pointer - green laser, laser pointer
Outstanding device. It simply fires a 30mw green laser through a kaleidoscope-like prism pattern, and then you rotate the tip and it resembles little explosions of light, (on a ceiling or wall or projector screen, etc.). They emanate from a kind of main pattern. Very cool. I certainly recommend this device but I also recommend that you install brand new lithium batteries instead of the batteries that are supplied with the light. I own 3 different power-level green lasers, (a 20mw, 30mw, and 50mw), and have received far better results with the lithium batteries right from the start.
The light is well made, (certainly for the money), as is the case it comes in. They also supply a microfiber cloth and instructions, (I am truly amazed at what I got for the price I paid, very reasonable). DO NOT POINT THIS AT YOUR PET'S EYES, let alone anyone else's. It can and will do damage. I have 2 cats that love to play with the 'scampering red light', (my safer red laser). So if that's what you want to do, please use a red laser. They're `a dime a dozen' and you can find them anywhere. Walmarts, Office Depot's, etc. Even the reflected intensity of the green lasers are too strong to look at for any duration and your pet, (particularly cats), will focus their full attention on that green point of light on the carpet or floor regardless of how bright or uncomfortable it is . This will permanently damage their vision. Please be responsible with it. This is NOT A CHILDS TOY. Green 30mw Laser Pointer Pen Style Star Holographic Projector and Laser Point..
This is in response to everyone who complained of their laser dimming after only a few minutes.
I just bought the laser and experienced the same problem. I remembered hearing someone talk about how lasers need to be warmed up, though, so I did a bit of experimenting. What I found out is that the laser loses heat quick--if you feel the actual device after it's been sitting in a cool room, it will be cool to the touch. I learned that if you warm the device in your hands for 20-30 seconds before you turn it on, it will work full power every time. If you're outside and you're using it, you may need to re-warm it from time to time if it's a particularly cold night. I rated the ease of use at a 3 because there weren't instructions that made it clear that this was the case.
Other than that, a HELL of a product! I compared it to a normal red laser pointer that is rated at <1mw, and it's definitely 20-30x brighter. I don't really care what the output value is, because it's PLENTY bright enough for me. You can see the beam in a dimly-lit room, and in a dark room, it will light up the entire place. On a dark night, you can shine it as far as the eye can see, and you can see the beam going that far. I went on top of a parking structure on campus and was able to shine it on buildings that were EASILY a half-mile away, and I could see the beam with ease. If you shine it up at the sky, it's like holding the world's coolest lightsaber (except it doesn't cut things). I wasn't too interested in the kaleidoscope tip feature, but it's actually REALLY awesome. It covers a whole room in dots, and the twistable end isn't as cumbersome as I thought it would be--VERY cool and definitely a plus.
I rated the product a 4 because they advertised a metal carrying case, and the case it came in was cheaply-made--I don't know the material, but it was something paper or card-board based. The laser itself, though, is phenomenal! Hope this helps with everyone that's experiencing dimming problems.
I was a little nervous buying this laser because of some of the negative reviews, but the low cost convinced me. I'll summarize below.
1) Craftsmanship is good. The barrel is rubberized for a good grip. The fittings are solid and well made.
2) The laser is kind of large and heavy. I prefer it that way, but don't expect a dainty, pen-sized pointer.
3) The beam is very bright. It may be too bright to use as a pointer. There is probably a reason why >5 mw lasers aren't sold as pointers. It is much brighter than my old 5 mw laser.
4) The prism attachment is more fun than I would have guessed. I didn't care about the prism, since I bought the laser as a high-power pointer. I had fun anyway.
5) You can see the beam, even indoors with the lights on.
It's a fun toy, but if you want to use it for presentations and such, I'd suggest a 5 mw laser instead. If you want to point out objects outdoors or on a Factory floor, it will work very well.
When writing this review, I am also placing an order for three more of this laser pointer. They are for adult friends and family (I'm 46 years old), who went wild when I showed them the product.
I was in doubt because of the mixed and somewhat strange reviews for this item. Some customers that complain about the quality of the product may have been unlucky with their models, I cannot say. But based on the positive reviews, I finally decided to go for it and try this laser pointer. After all, on the very rare occasion that you get an item that is not working as it should or otherwise flawed, I've always found Amazons returns, replacement, or refund policies to be of great help. (Talking from the years of consistently getting top level service; buying every month and never being let down).
I am very happy with the decision of placing the order:
I stand in awe of this product. The green ray can be easily seen in the dark, and you really can point out stars in the night sky. The button seems fine and solid, and my entire impression is of a good and solid piece of hardware.
If you point the ray at 'low-hanging' clouds (1-2 miles up), you can actually see the laser dot hitting the cloud. Along with the visible power of the ray, this seems a rather good indication that the product meets its specifications. (Checking detailed information about the local weather on the internet can be of help here. Also, airplanes can give you an indication of the altitude of the cloud you are pointing at. Just remember not to point at the cloud while an airplane is near).
The straight ray is quite perfect. The 'light dispenser' lens for this product is an extra gadget which comes along at no extra cost, and it comes on and off quite easily. If you don't put it on, you have a perfect straight laser. If you DO put it on, you can have extra fun making small light shows. Try pointing it into a tree, it will look like something out of a Harry Potter movie.
Needless to say, kids are deeply fascinated, too - with the toy value as well as the scientific nature of this device. (Remember that the device is not a toy. If you show the device to kids, they must be told that the laser can blind people and may not be pointed at persons or airplanes. They are not to try it unless they are clearly responsible and under adult supervision.)
As for battery lifetime, I've had this pointer for more than two weeks. I have used it for several minutes each day, and it still runs fine on the two AA batteries that were included. That's surprisingly good; the small arsenal of AA batteries that I charged since I didnt expect a very long battery lifetime will have to be recharged before I will need them. Again, others may have been less lucky with their models.
As already said, I've ordered three more for friends and family. If they present any problems I will change this review accordingly in a month or so. - Laser Star Pointer - Green Laser - Laser Pointer - Laser'

Narrow Crown Stapler - narrow crown stapler, staplers
I've used many brands of nail guns with various prices and qualities. The Hitachi Narrow Crown Finish Stapler definitely one of the best considering the low price. Light, and easy to use, it also has a switch for single shot or bump action which is wonderful. Most homeowner will feel much comfortable with single shot and able to check how many staple left with exposed rail. With a short practice, most people can gain most of the control of this staple and use it with ease. It has no problem driving 1 1/2 into wood and I felt it doesn't use much of air pressure as my compressor stay quiet longer than some other nail guns with similar capability.
The only thing I don't like is the kit does not come with sample staples and lubricant. It is not that I don't have them at home but it means the case does not design with designated places for those. minus one star for that. Hitachi N3804AB3 1 1/2-Inch 18-Gauge Narrow Crown Finish Stapler
One thing I will add that the other reviewers did not mention is that this stapler packs a heck of a wallop. The power of this lightweight unit really amazed me.
The truth is, I did not know what to expect. I have never owned an air-powered stapler or nail gun. I planned to use this Hitachi stapler to put up kraft-faced insulation, and then later use it for trim work. Yeah, right. I loaded it with 0.50" staples. They went right through the paper tabs on the insulation and kept on going into the studs. I had to look hard to find them because they had been sunk so deeply.
I turned the air pressure down to 70 PSI, which is the minimum operating pressure and set the stapler's depth adjustment to minimum. No dice. Too powerful! I went back to using my Arrow T-50 Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Special.
I decided to get to know this little monster better. So I ran a test to see what it could do. I loaded it with 1.50" Senco staples and fastened a piece of 7/16" Oriented Strand Board (OSB) to some wall studs in about five seconds. Extremely impressive! I showed my science project to my wife.
She said, "Very nice. Now take it down. It looks terrible stuck up there."
I tried to pull the test piece off the wall with my bare hands, but it would not budge. Then I tried to pull it off with a 22 oz. framing hammer. That didn't work either. Finally, I had to use a 3-foot long pry bar. Geez, talk about embarrassing.
My last futile effort involved trying to recycle the test piece of OSB by attempting to extract the 1.5" staples I had shot into it. I won't tell you what happened except to say the OSB went into my woodstove, staples and all.
Here is a tip: Whatever you staple with this Hitachi stapler is forever.
UPDATE, October 2010: This stapler is still going strong. I have put up 1536 sq. ft. of 3/8" plywood using the stapler and have done various other jobs with it. I have run nearly 3000, 1 1/2" staples through the unit and have not experienced a single jam or other malfunction.
As for maintenance, all I have done is cleaned the unit with compressed air and sprayed some WD-40 on its moving parts. Of course, the stapler gets five to eight drops of air tool oil before each work cycle.
The Hitach is a nice looking tool, light weight, and it is cool. When loading the bolt draws back and locks. Staples fit over the rail tightly, but slide smoothly, release button is easy to operate and positive (not sloppy).
The stapler needs at least fifty pounds of pressure, but will sink the 1.25 inch staples perfectly into pine at that setting. It uses little air, so the compressor isn't called on much.
In "automatic" bump mode this gun will shoot all day. I was stapling 3' lengths of chicken wire to a wooden frame. The gun has never jammed.
As much as I hate manual staplers, I love this tool!
It is a joy to use, and accurate. I highly recommend this tool.
This stapler drove all staples under the surface. The depth adjuster is not designed correctly and will not hold the stapler far enough away from the material. If you always want to drive 1/16th under the surface, this is a good stapler. But, if you want to drive just flush or just to the surface, you will have to put a spacer under the foot. I tried another Hitachi, and it had the same defect. I bought the Porter Cable and it works flawlessly. Amazon refunded all of my money including return shipping. I find it very rare to get a better deal than Amazon anywhere on the 'net.
These narrow crown staples are wonderful. They deform when they go in. That's why they hold so very well. Plus, they do not split your workpiece. PLUS, they are very inexpensive per each. I even used them to fasten cedar to cedar -- which doesn't always like nails.
This Hitachi stapler itself is everything the other reviewers say it is -- except that there is actually a little room in the case for enough staples to do a small job. Much nicer to use than the old stapler I wore out.
When you buy it, you might consider getting a selection of different length staples.
We needed to purchase another stapler for our custom cabinet shop. Wanted something durable, but light weight. We have had Hitachi brad guns for years and never had any issues, so for less then a C-note we got this unit.
Fits your hand well, easy to load and easy to use.
It has plenty of power pushing 1 1/4 staples into hardwood without any problems. It will be interesting to see how this unit holds up in the long run, all indications indicate no reason to be concerned.
Only negative that I have found is that you can't load two full clips of staples - the magazine isn't long enough.
Picked this up today from local big box store (as a replacement for a Bostich, but that's another review). I was going through the manual and when I tried to adjust the staple depth, the wheel that's supposed to turn got stuck and never moved again. I'm taking it back tomorrow. - Finish Staplers - Staplers - Staples - Narrow Crown Stapler'

Comfortable - durable, comfortable
I bought these for my friend for Christmas. She told me they are perfect! They fit perfectly and don't ride up on her, even when she takes an intense yoga class. I was very relieved she was so happy with them, since it was a risk to order this type of product online.
I was also impressed with the company because they initially made an error with the order, but once I made them aware of the mistake, they corrected it immediately. American Apparel 8328 Cotton Spandex Jersey Legging, Black, L
I have been looking for a durable yet comfortable legging that will deal with the everyday wear and tear of being a preschool teacher. Fit, length, comfort and opaque material was important to me. Grizzly - dust, dust collectors
I was going to get the Delta 50-850 but this one includes standard 1 micron bags so I decided to get the 50-760 instead. Set up took about 15 minutes including fumbling with the bag and the exterior band strap. Delta includes an interior flexible band & a band strap to mount the bottom bag with. I suppose out of habit I used the band strap but the flex band seems a lot easier and I will probably switch bag mounting methods next time I empty it. The unit runs a lot quieter than I had imagined and seems to have more than enough power to collect the dust from my shop. With 2 clear chip bags 1 micron collection and the cfm rating this machine is hard to beat. I do not see having to upgrade to anything larger. DELTA 50-760 1.5HP 1,200 CFM Vertical Bag Dust Collector
I received my 50-760 late last year. Even though I have been receiving items damaged from Amazon, the dust collector made it without any problems at all.
Assembly was a snap, fit and finish was very good.
I am still running the DC at 120v, but will be wiring to 240v after I put in the 240v outlet.
I currently use the DC in a ducted metal pipe environment. I come off vertically with 6 inch spiral pipe (5 inch to 6 inch expander from machine), run up to ceiling, run over 16 feet, then head down to the floor with 5 inch pipe. I have multiple branches off this vertical pipe, and run 5 inch hose to the woodworking machines via home-made blast gates. Eventually I will expand the system to other machines, but since the existing ductwork and run lengths are the longest that I will be using, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the future enhancements will also work just as good as the existing hookups.
Performance with the above set-up is great. I have great airflow and suction, and the amount of dust and sawdust has been reduced tremendously in the woodshop.
Noise level is not a problem. While not quiet, the noise level is less than my shop vac was. Since the DC is in a corner of the woodshop, it is at least a fair bit away from me. Eventually I will add a wooden panel or two around the unit to block some of the direct noise.
I am glad that I purchased the unit. It handles my woodworking needs at a low cost and with a small footprint. No regrets on purchasing the unit.
I can't wait to hook up the rest of my machines!
I've had this collector for several weeks now and I'm very happy with it. Based on another reviewer's input I purchased a 20 gallon can to use as a chip separator, but after taking measurements I decided that a 30 gallon can would fit. I will post a photo to show how it looks.
This makes an almost perfect system for a garage shop where mobility is key. You end up with a powerful, self contained separator/collector that has a small footprint.
Update: For those who are interested the connection on the top of the can is a 5" straight pipe connected to the collector port with 5" flexible hose. The connection on the side of the can is a 4" ninety degree elbow which is angled to direct the flow slightly downward around the side of the can. I cut the holes in the can with a jig saw and attached the ports with silicone calk.
I received my unit with a slightly damaged motor housing that was cosmetic only (like most other reviewers). No other flaws. Assembly about 1 hour. Have used it for about a year now with no problems at all. It has far better suction than a 650cfm unit and this enables you to use floor vacuums (like the one sold by grizzly with the wheels on it) and a cleaner shop. The one micron bag is nice. The unit is tall but has the smallest footprint of any dust collector with this amount of power.
The best part of this dust collector is the ability to add a shopmade seperator ON THE SAME FOOTPRINT. All other dust collectors force you to use up additional floor space for the seperator. If you turn wet wood or use a planer then dust collector input hose will get clogged from long strands and everything grinds to a halt (regardless of dust collector model). The trick is to add a seperator. To add a seperator to this unit you make a plywood floor for the bottome of the unit. Then you place a 20 gallon metal trash can under the motor unit on the platform you just added. The lid is just a piece of round plywood with two holes cut in it, one 5 inch hole for the suction intake to the motor, and one 4 inch hole for the hose to the tool. Use a glue gun to seal around the hoses where they enter the lid. Altogether should take an hour to build. I tried numerous rubber trash cans but this dust collector imploded all of them, you have to use a steel can. All commercial seperator lids are for 5 or 30 gallon cans. 5 gallon cans are toys for people using shopvacs, and a 30 gallon can wont fit on this models stand. I bought the 20 gallon steel can at a Menards.
My only complaint is the same as most of these mobile tools--I wish it came with bigger wheels so it could jump a power cord. The tubular frame does not look like it will tolerate bigger wheels but maybe I will get around to trying that eventually.
I can see how many have reported damage from shipping. The top of the motor is not well protected in the packaging. I bought mine locally to save the headache.
Assembly is very easy and all the parts fit perfectly. There are two choices for connecting the clear, plastic bag: large quick release band clamp, or large felt o-ring. The top bag connects with the large felt o-ring and it seems easier to me than using the clamp. I opted to attach the plastic collection bag using the o-ring. It works well.
There are also two choices for mounting the motor and blower assembly. You can assemble it with the motor on top and the inlet on the bottom as shown in the photos, or the other way around with the motor on the bottom and the inlet on the top. This makes it convenient for folks who want to install overhead duct work.
This machine is much larger than you might imagine. It's 83" (almost 7 feet) tall and occupies 35" X 19" floor space, which is a small foot print - it's the height that is a shocker.
The machine comes with a 5" X 4" X 4" wye fitting. You can hook up one 5" hose or duct (odd size), or two 4" hoses. This puzzles me because a 1.5 hp machine is not really suited for more than one machine at a time and most folks would put a wye further away from the machine. I used a 5" to 6" adapter and went with 6" ducting with 6" to 4" reducers at most machines except my 15" planer, which I ducted 6" all the way.
I have about 32 feet of 6" metal duct work with 3 wyes and 6 blast gates to shut off either entire parts of the system or just individual machines. Much to my surprise, it works great. I was worried that this machine would lack the power to handle sophisticated duct work. I run only one machine's blast gate open at a time. I also have a floor sweep that connects directly to the 6" duct. It's fun to use. You just sweep a pile of sawdust with 4 to 6 inches of the floor sweep and it sucks it right up.
I run a 15" Jet planer with a 6" duct and it has so far kept up with fairly aggressive passes on 12" wide stock. I didn't honestly think it would be able to do it but it does.
Emptying the plastic bag and cleaning the felt bag is a royal pain. There is nothing wrong with the 50-760. All machines designed this way are a pain to dump and clean. Fine dust will pour out in clouds if you're not super careful when dumping. I take my top bag off first and fold it so as to close off the opening and take it straight outside. I then remove the bottom bag very carefully so as not to stir up the dust and take it straight outside as well. After dumping the plastic bag I turn the felt bag inside out being careful not to damage it and then lightly shake it and brush it clean with a soft bristled brush.
After using the machine for a few hours I turn it off and lightly swat the felt bag with my hands causing the shavings and dust to fall into the lower plastic bag. It will clog if this is not done regularly along with the cleaning I perform when dumping.
1 micron is nice but dust still comes through the bag. It's much better than a 30 micron bag but it's not magic.
Since wood chips come into direct contact with the impeller blade I think a pre-separator would be a good investment. I have a friend who uses the trash can style plastic cyclone separator with good success. I am going to build a custom 6" one since all the store bought stuff is only 4". The fewer times you have to empty and clean this thing the better off you'd be. - Dust Collectors - Dust - Dust Collection - Delta'

d. THERE'S NO EXTRA ACCESSORIES, THE PICTURES IS MISLEADING
VERY FRUSTRATING...
I was looking for the unlock cell phone for travel to over sea, found this Blackberry sound good for what I need for the price, then after received the phone try to used it turn out it need to activate from verizon service, this phone have to go back.
aw.
Now i can not say much about the phone because i have never received the item or blessed eyes on it now i placed an order with the OEM shop on the 5th of February 2011 today as i am writing this review is the 10th of march 2011 you do the math, this is how long ago i placed my order.from i placed my order i have been back and forth with this company (the OEM shop)trying to resolve this problem these people have gotten my money a month ago and i can not get it back up to now every time i contact them, as i don't have a phone number for them, i have to do so via emails they send back saying sorry for the inconvenience this company was dishonest from the start i ordered a phone that they knew they did not have in stock and i had to contact them after weeks of wondering where my phone was, not having a tracking number to find out from one person that it was on some kinda back order then it was out of stock and when it became available they will ship it. I told these people i wanted my money back they still ship the phone the, they recalled the phone in mid transit an sent me an email, mind you with such a matter i believe phone calls would be best but that's just my opinion, telling me that they will refund my money within 48hours to my knowledge 48 means within two days i received this email on the 7th of march 2011 it is now the 10th of march 2011 and up to now no one has contact me as to where my money is and when i will be getting it back this is my first time having dealings with this company (the OEM shop) and it has been the worst experienced yet i have googled trying to find other ways in terms of a phone number to contact this business to speak to a manager or someone in charge to no avail but what did come up on my Google search is posts and reviews of people who this company (the OEM shop) has done something similar to.To end off i would have to say people amazon is great because i have ordered stuff on the same day i ordered from the OEM shop and after and guess what i have already gotten my items but i have to say that the OEM shop will not be getting any more business from me other customers be aware you don't want to end up with the same problem i had. With that said i think amazon should have as a policy that persons or business who sell on Amazon need to put up more than an email address as contact info for those of us that end up having disputes like this because if you don't call (which you cant because there is no number) or email the OEM shop they wont contact you and tell you what is happen they need to realize people have to work hard for their money and don't wish to see it go down the drain for nothing again, Amazon is wonderful but the OEM shop needs to pull up their socks this is not a nice thing to be doing !!!!!!!!!
The phone is lovely and just what I needed. Unfortunately it was still locked onto a specific carrier and hence useless to me. The seller (OEM Shop) was unresponsive and has yet to resolve the issue. I had to purchase a different phone and get on with life.
I paid for 1 day shipment. They spend 3 days to move it from Brooklyn to Newark. In the end it was 5 days shipment. Nothing to say about phone cause I'm in another country now.
No answer for claims from amazon or seller. No comments :)
I purchased the Unlocked Storm because the description led me to believe that the phone would have full functionality on the all GSM networks. Unfortunately that was not accurate. OEM did contact me regarding some of the issues with the phone but they took two to three days to reply to my emails and would not call me to trouble shoot or fully resolve my issues. Because I was trying to get the phone to work following very cryptic emails from their technical person, I missed the 30-day window to return the product or a refund. The phone is still not working properly with our wireless carrier. I would not purchase this phone believing it will work with AT&T. I have always liked shopping on Amazon.com will continue to do so but I was disappointed with this vendor and the service I received. - Blackberry Storm 9530 - Blackberry 9530 - Blackberry - Blackberry Storm'

Teaching Materials - cookbook stand, kindle accessory
This holder keeps papers upright and in position, but it doesn't handle books particularly well, as the clip cannot grip surfaces as thick as most books and the base isn't as wide as most books when they're opened. I have this AND a book stand so I keep myself covered on both ends. Insight Adjustable Book & Copy Holder
This product is [retty good, but don't even try putting a bood on it, the holder will tip over and it doesn't clip the pages of a book very well. But for papers it's good and it's adjustable, which is convient. It did hold my notebook very well, but for books it sucks.
I was looking for a narrow bookstand to prop my Kindle up next to my monitor on my desk, the reviews cautioning about this stand not being the best for some bigger books made it sound Just Right for the Kindle, and it does indeed do the job nicely.
This "book holder" is a perfect stand for the Apple Ipad. It could have been designed for it. Sturdy, very adjustable, will hold the Ipad at various angles in either the vertical or landscape positions.
I bought this to use with an iPad and while the angle adjustments are great, the color blends in and the iPad looks terrific on it there is one downside.
The plastic holder on the back does not lock or snap into place when you angle it. There's no security at all. If you are like me and want to have your iPad on the stand and then pick up the stand with the iPad on it to change locations, the leg on the back will immediately dislodge from the plastic slots that they sit in. They just rest in there and nothing holds them in. That's understandable since this is meant for paper copies and probably to live on a desk but I was disappointed it wasn't a little more secure.
It's a sturdy stand and really does look great with the iPad but I carry mine around and use it on a stand in my lap. You have to be really careful and pick up the iPad off the stand and then pick up the stand or it may collapse unexpectedly. I would have given it five stars if there was a snap lock rather than loose slots.
I'm a typist. Do people still even USE that word? Even saying I'm a word processor sounds old-fashioned these days. Well, you get my drift. I have a different gizmo I use when I want to hold a book open (a clear lucite thing) so I have no problems with this being unable to hold heavy books. I only need it to hold COPY for typing or for following while I type. I have been typing for over 30 years and I have gone through quite a plethora of copy holders over the years. This is the greatest I have used thus far: lightweight (a BIG plus), adjustable angle (very important for someone with desk lighting), adjustable height (will even hold 14" tall paper and not just 11"). I gave this 5 stars partly because there is not a choice of 4.5, which is what I WOULD really give it because of one minus: there is no arm for following the copy. If I look away and then look back, nothing in this stand will help me find my place. I have to devise my own methods. However I would prefer NO line arm to one that just gets in my way and causes problems (which I have found to be the case with most such arms), so it's not that big a deal. I'm already in the habit of making light pencil marks all over my copy (or sticking small post-it notes if it is copy I must not mess up), so it's not that big a deal to me. A great deal for the price!
Despite the name, this is clearly not designed for ANY books (thick or thin), and I have found it not very useful for copy either as the top clip does not grip at all. Its very light and compact, but does not lock into place, no base weight or rubber base to prevent constant slipping and collapsing. - Cookbook Stand - Kindle Stand - Kindle Accessory - Book Stand'
