Replacement Battery - ridgid, ryobi 12 volt

I bought this replacement battery because the two that came with the original purchase had begun to not hold a charge. The originals lasted about four years. This replacement failed after two uses. Read other reviews about poor quality replacements, and my experience was the same. Ridgid 130252002 12V 1.25Ah NiCd Battery

My two batteries have clearly outperformed my expectations. They've endured extreme southwest heat (100+ degrees), dust and severe abuse for the past three years. My DeWalt driver's battery surrendered after two years of similar treatment. The Ridgids continue to perform although one's charge doesn't last so long now. I'm buying two more to add to my toolbox. My experience with Amazon has been superb. Two other products I ordered in the past were either flawed or not what was ordered. I received replacements within days, one in two days time.

I checked my local "battery" specialty store and found out I could get my old ones refurbished for a few bucks MORE than this new replacement costs. I got two of these - been using them for months now (light "home" duty) and they're terrific.

Ridgid 12V 1.25Ah NiCd Battery 130252002

I had two batteries with my drill driver. One went bad just before the warranty expired. The other one lasted a year longer. I hope this one performs as well as the first two.

Delivery was quick. The battery was not charged when I got it but took full charge in about half an hour and has worked perfectly since. I do not use my drill driver all the time but tend to use it pretty heavily when I do need it.

This battery seems as strong as the old one when it was new.

I have had a hard time finding batteries.

Partly because I was looking for an exact match.

This battery is a bit smaller and a bit less time on charge,

but available and cheaper. Yippee

Now I don't have to buy a new drill because the battery technology has changed.

When my old Ridgid NiCd batteries went dead, I recycled them. I found out ne week later that you can have them re-built at a fractiion of the cost of new ones! I found these two new ones online for just over the cost of one at Home Depot. Good supplier. Thanks Amazon. - Ridgid - Ryobi 12 Volt'

Kitchen Remodeling - faucets, delta

I was pleasantly surprised to find something so nice-looking at so low a price, and bought it based on the good reviews. I wasn't disappointed. It was fairly easy to install and looks beautiful in our kitchen. Washing dishes is easier with the height of this faucet, and the sprayer is quite strong. As other reviewers noted, the shipping was fast; it was in our possession within 4 days of ordering. One note about the sprayer-- it's a good idea to shake it out after using, as if you don't, a few drops of water will accumulate in it and can spill over onto your sink edge. Not a big deal at all, but that simple step can save you from having to go back and wipe the sink down if you're obsessive like me!

I'm glad to have found this faucet, as I know we'd have spent well over $200 for something of the same quality at our local home improvement store. Brushed Nickel Kitchen Faucet with Sprayer (life time limited warranty)

I bought this faucet to replace a Moen that lasted no more then 6 months. What initially got my attention was the price and the separate hot and cold knobs. My Moen had a single handle for both and started spraying water out of it and all over my kitchen window. I figured a simpler design would not have this problem. The goose neck style nozzle allows you to rinse large pots and pans very easily. The sprayer is not only better quality than the Moen's but it is extremely powerful! It will blast almost anything off quite easily. Also, the brushed nickel finish matches a basic stainless steal sink ten times better than a chrome finished one. I paid twice as much for the Moen at Home Depot and it didn't even last a year. That's what I get for not remembering that Amazon carries EVERYTHING.

EDIT: Recently the hose became unattached from the sprayer. I tried to reattach it and it just shot off again spewing water into my cabinet below. To correct the problem I had to kink the hose and zip tie it. Now the water does not pour out when you turn the faucet on, but now I don't have a sprayer!

There are many good things about this particular product. First I have to mention the fast shipping. We recieved the faucet within two days. The instalation was very easy. What I like about the faucet is how high it is. I do not have a very deep sink, so fitting larger items underneith the faucet was hard (in fact, that is how I broke my last faucet!), but with the high arch of this faucet it is much easier. The sprayer is better quality than I expected it to be. It is all metal and feels very sturdy. I just bought a house and so I have been shopping around for everything, I have to say that this was the lowest price that I could find for this style faucet with a metal sprayer.

Overall, I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to others.

I purchased the faucet new. It arrived with obvious damage that was done before it was even shipped. I rated the service as FAIR in my first review because I had to contact the manufacturer for replacement parts and do the repair myself. Repair to a faucet that was obviously broken before it was even shipped. After I placed the review, I received an email from the seller. Not apologizing for the problem. They complained that I had filed a FAIR review and stated that they were SORRY THAT THEY HAD HELPED ME with the repairs. Actually, they hadn't helped me. I had to contact the manufacturer of the faucet for the replacement parts because the return info on the invoice directed me to do so in case of a problem. Won't purchase from these sellers again.

As others have remarked, it arrived quickly. It was far less fussy to install than the faucet it was replacing. The installation instructions are brief and clear. The important parts are metal, but the "brushed nickel" is plastic. This is not a problem with a product that is well made, and I am satisfied with this faucet. It has a solid turn-off, and the swivel of the faucet arm is tight. The hose of the sprayer is a transparent plastic tube without a weight, so it doesn't retract as easily as our old stainless hose with weight, but we expect the plastic to relax with time. It has such a powerful spray that we don't use it at full force. I especially like the fact that the filter can be removed without tools, just twist it off. Our old faucet required a wrench for this task. It is a handsome looking fixture. We were tired of paying more than things are worth, especially with plumbing. We looked in the $200-$300 range and didn't see anything we liked better than this. This is elegant and works well. And we saved a bundle.

This might have been a great product but due to improper packaging I wasn't able to find out. As soon as I noticed the broken handle in the box I went and I bought a similar product at H*** D****. Lo and behold, there was a piece of cardboard holding the main item in place and all the other parts sat nicely tied on their places...

I'll think twice next time I come upon an item sold by YouRemodel!!!

If you are looking for a beautiful, well-priced kitchen faucet with sprayer, this is it! It installed easily and quickly (DIY). Handles turn smothly and the aerator outputs water in a nice flow (not "spitzy" or splashy).

This faucet is very good looking and seems to be very durable. The high arch allows more room in the sink for larger dishes, pots, etc. The sprayer works well too. It was also easy to install. Absolutely no complaints!! Great price!! - Delta Faucet - Delta - Hardware - Faucets'

Noise Reducing - j3, earphones

I purchased the J2 earbuds before doing some serious flying beginning in mid-summer, and I was well pleased with the quality on them. My husband kept teasing me about the color--a lovely pink!--and it took some time to convince him to actually give them a listen. When he finally did, he was blown away, and caved on the idea of getting his own. Neither of us are huge audiophiles, but I'm a bit more picky about overall sound quality than he is. I still haven't found a set of iPhone speakers that I'm satisfied with after 2 years of searching.

I came to Amazon to purchase a set of J2's in white, and found that the J3 version had just been released. Reading up, I knew we needed to give these a try instead, and ordered the Titanium Silver for him.

As mentioned both in reviews and by JLab, you MUST allow these earbuds (and the J2 model) to burn in before you're going to get the fullest range of sound. Even so, my husband was utterly stunned the first time he used his new pair. He raved about them so much, I stole them for an hour to compare to my now well-used J2's, and I found improvements all the way around. Even with a fresh out of the box pair that had perhaps a few hours of burn in time, the trebles are incredibly clear, and the bass to my ear is both significantly deeper and clearer in tone. (I'm a bass girl, this was the most important thing for me.) The audible background "hiss" you can hear on older or poorer quality mp3s is even muted.

I bought a new Paparazzi Pink pair for myself that night, and my J2's have been relegated to emergency backup status. With the release of the J3, J2 models are at an exceptional price, but these are so superior that they're well worth the extra money.

Little things:

The new packaging is fabulous; I hope more companies start working with Amazon to switch over to this type of packing material.

The little case provided with the J3 model is a big plus. I have the larger case for travel and this one is way more convenient for daily use. It's small enough to slip into a shirt or jacket pocket.

Four sizes of silicone ear buds will make it much easier to fit for some. I did transfer over mine from the J2 as the material from those feels a bit thinner and I preferred the old color My husband found he was most comfortable using different sizes for each ear, so having the wider variety of sizes worked well for him. His only complaint is that even with the best fitting pair, occasionally he finds the fit to be almost too tight to the point of pressure-induced discomfort. Most of the time, it's not a problem. He did have ear issues as a child and I suspect this may be a factor, as I have had no trouble at all with either model.

For reference, both pair are being used with 1st gen iPhones for music and audiobooks. I use the EQ settings for the iPod function, he makes no adjustments.

Overall, one of the best products I've bought in any category this year! JBuds J3 Micro Atomic In-Ear Earphones with Travel Case (Titanium Silver)

In an earlier review, I mentioned that these high-quality JBuds J3s were too treble-heavy for my tastes, which too much sound in the upper register instead of a balanced sound. Of course, sound is subjective and many may find these $30 J3s worth the money.

I posted this review on Amazon and my blog and got an email from JLab Audio telling me that they were "surprised" by my criticism, that my critique contradicted focus groups and their "overwhelming conclusions." The email also implored me to consider removing my review until I made a more thorough evaluation.

JLab Audio makes similar requests to Amazon reviewers who give their product less than sterling praise. Clearly, JLab cares about their customer feedback and wants evaluations to be both thorough and they also make it clear that the earbuds should go through a breaking-in process, playing the buds through the earphone jack for 24 hours straight.

I want to be fair so I deleted my Amazon review and want to give my evaluation as a "second look," having allowed my J3s to go through the breaking-in process. I am comparing my $30 J3s to the $14 J2s, listening to them through a C.Crane CCR-2, a Sangean WR-2, and an iPod.

For me, the J2s, while not offering the same brightness and dynamic volume as the J3s, are for me the better deal. Simply put, I just find too much treble in the J3s at the expense of other sound range resulting in a less than balanced listening experience. On my CCR-2 radio, I turned the treble all the way down to mitigate the J3's upper end effect. On the Sangean WR-2, the high-end was also too much for me. Same story with the iPod. Now I expect many will be happy with the bright sound in the upper register. It's just too much for me. JLab makes a good product. I bought their original JBuds and still use them as my travel buds and I love them as they're very comfortable. The J2s offer better fidelity than the originals. I use them for my bedside radio. The J3s for me offer too much treble but definitely bring a brightness that many will enjoy.

Update: JBuds contacted me and offered me to exchange my J3s for two pair of J2s. Kudos to JBuds for accommodating my preference for the J2s. - J3 - Earbuds - Ipod Earbuds - Earphones'

School Supplies - ticonderoga, eraser

Out of all of the pencils I have ever bought these have been my favorite. They write really nicely and smoothly, the tip doesn't break or snap as often as other brands.

When you sharpen them they are so much smoother and more durable compared to other brands. Some fo the cheaper pencils keep breaking and you have to sharpen them until you only have half a pencil left. Not these, they make soft grinding noise and sharpen very smoothly.

The eraser is very high quality and doesn't smear or leave marks behind.

Unlike some brands the metal part at the top of these pencils are a lot better quality and don't have sharp edges.

This might seem like a silly thing to review but these pencils really do have a quality difference that sticks out from other pencil brands. Dixon Ticonderoga 13872 Woodcase Pencil, HB #2, Yellow Barrel, 96 per Pack

I was working on costume prop and needed to some pencils to make my marks on the wood. I went to Wal-Mart and saw these amongst there many pencils. The 24 pack was a little over 8 dollars. A bit pricey for pencils. I gave in to the slogan of "Worlds best pencil" and figured I would give them a try. Because like anyone else who has purchased these I was sick of erasers that smudged, lead that broke, wood that was more plastic than wood.I will never buy any other kind of pencil again.

The thing that I like the most is that the eraser actually erases with out smudges. I'm a little heavy handed when I write so there is some residual. The lead doesn't break for no apparent reason. The only time I need to sharpen it is when the lead gets dull or I sit or step on it. They are worth every penny.

One reviewer didn't like them because of the graphite. If you do the dixon website ( [...] ) their online store has different graphite selections.

In my opinion they really are the greatest pencil in the world. Accept no substitutes.

Without a doubt this is the most disappointing item I have purchased in years! I have always bought this brand of pencil because I am a writer and still write in longhand.

I am on my fourth 12-pack (48 pencils) from this case and I have thrown away most of them because the lead breaks as soon as I begin to write.

I have used several different pencil sharpeners and the breakage is the same with all of them.

It is a pity to see such an icon go down the tubes because of poor quality but it has for me. I will never purchase another Ticonderoga product again.

I bought Ticonderoga pencils but had a similar experience with breakage as other reviewers had. More frequently, however, the metal aglet holding the eraser came off as soon as I tried to use the eraser. Aglets flying about the room! It was a sad day.

* 6/2/11 Just wanted to update--I bought more Ticonderogas the other day (pre-sharpened, at Staples), hoping for a better experience--and the lead breaks throughout use. Because of the frequent sharpening required, each pencil lasts only a short time. Still can't rate the product any higher.

Also wanted to update that it's a "grommet," not an aglet, that holds the eraser onto the pencil. I'm sure that you are terribly grateful for the correction.

I'm a second grade teacher and I've had it up to *here* with 'DIXON' pencils.

The only reliable pencils is Dixon Ticonderoga. Everything else is just junk wasting everyone's time and money.

I will only use Ticonderoga pencils in my class.

I bought these pencils for my kiddos, very durable and high quality materials are put into this pencil which now makes it my number one pencil of choice. recommended for kids for it has sort of an antimicrobial something that also makes it the worlds safest pencil against viral diseases. highly recommended

These are great pencils. Period. The construction and quality are great, and the erasers have generally outlasted the pencils themselves. I recommend these pencils to anyone who loves classic writing instruments, and enjoys the rich heritage of the pencil.

I bought this box of pencils last year when I ordered a wall mounted pencil sharpener. With about half the pencils of the box, the second I'd pull the pencil out of the sharpener the lead would fall off. It was so frustrating, considering these are supposed to be such great pencils. I didn't have the same problem with the boxes I'd buy in stores..so perhaps they were damaged during shipping. I don't know. I've used other Dixon pencils, store bought, since then and have had no problems so it's not my sharpener. So..be warned..it could not be worth the price. - Pencil - Ticonderoga - Dixon - Eraser'

Benchtop Drill

I had a Floor Drill Press for years until we sold our house and bought a condo. I bought this one for a project not expecting much for the price.

Boy was I surprised.

This is one quality tool. It is extremely well built and very smooth and quiet in its operation. In fact, it has the feel of a precision tool as opposed to a plain old drill press. This thing looks and feels like it should cost twice as much as it does.

I used to buy all my tools from a National Retailer who has their own brand of tools ( you know the one- begins with a C ).

I borrowed a friend's drill press first who had this well known brand and it was total junk. So I went out and bought the Skil instead. I usually buy only Dewalt and Bosch and this is every bit as well made as those two other brands. In fact, Bosch owns Skil.

Finally- in case you're wondering, the laser really does work and is a great assist when drilling small holes. Just remember to take the batteries out when you are not going to use it for a while. Skil 3320-02 120-Volt 10-Inch Drill Press

Although the package was a bit banged up the contents were all there and not damaged. The drill assembled easily and the instructions were good. The unit operated without any problems. I'm very happy with it and would buy from Skil again.

The fit and finish aren't what you will get from an expensive tool, but this is very functional and precise in the places it needs to be. Was surprised to see that the table was exactly perpendicular to the chuck right out of the box, and the lasers were dead on as well. Has a little vibration in the spindle at certain points in the travel but nothing that should effect the cut. The power switch is very nice and you can shut it down quickly. For the price, not to mention free Prime shipping, you cant go wrong.

First, you must decide what you want your tool to do. Then you can choose the tool.

This is not a production drill press. It's designed for the home shop, with medium-to-heavy usage by one to two people. I got it to drill holes in brass parts for the armatures I make for models. Not exactly heavy-duty usage. But, it performs that function flawlessly. The adjustment knobs and set-screws are all rugged. And, I was surprised, but the laser guide does work, and it works well. I aligned the lasers using the smallest drill bit I own, and they are very useful for getting the holes lined up accurately.

Overall, this is a great product. There are cheaper options, but when I tested and/or inspected them, I found the components to be shoddy and the results to be sub-par. The Skil Drill Press out-performs all of them.

We needed a small dril press for fabricating electronic test assemblies. The Skil 3320-02 was right for the task. Assembly was quick, and adjustments were minimal. The laser alignment was not perfect, but it didn't warrant re-adjustment. The table was even clamped at 90 degrees to the bit right out of the box. Chuck run-out was negligible which allows us to drill holes with small numbered drill bits. A good value for a small drill press.

I purchased this drill press for my 'garage' workshop. The drill is used in a variety of home projects (PCB board fabrication, project box construction (plastic and metal), etc.

This drill serves its function quite well. The press is durable and well balanced. The laser sight is very helpful in aligning drill bit and hole.

NB:

To change speeds, you do need to pop the top cabinet, loosen the motor mounts (thumb-tight screws), change belt positions and then retighten the motor mounts and snap the cabinet back into place. Not a serious chore, but it is a 'manual' not an 'automatic' transmission.

The press is heavy (about 50 lbs) and it is best to mount to a stable surface (e.g., a workbench).

This is my first drill press since shop class in 8th grade, though I'm handy with most other power tools. I assembled it in about 30 mins without too much difficulty (though there is one small plastic part left over that is not mentioned in 3 readings of the instructions -- never a good thing).

Moving the table up and down seems rather clunky, but I may have more adjustments to make.

I'm writing this review before even using the drill because the ad says "variable speed", which from many years of using standard drills means to me that the speed is easily and continuously controllable. This drill press actually has only 5 discreet speeds, which can be changed by opening up the hood, loosening one of the spindles, adjusting the belt, and then tightening the spindle again to the right belt tension. Not that hard to do, but not trivial.

Maybe you experts out there knew this from previous experience, but for those like me who did not, this drill is "variable speed" only in the sense that you can change the speed to 1 of 5 speeds by manually adjusting the belt (570rpm, 900, 1390, 2050, 3050).

I'll update my review after I begin using it.'

Visual Dictionary - star wars books, star wars

Very nice hardback book with lots of stunning pictures of what else? Star Wars Legos!

We are big fans of Legos in general and this book did not disappoint. It came with a bonus Luke Skywalker mini-figure. As with all DK books, you get great pictures, thorough descriptions, and just a generally enjoyable book to collect or read.

I bought 2 copies of this book, one to read, and one to collect.

The only thing that bothered me a (very tiny) little bit was how the Luke Skywalker mini-fig was packaged. At first glance it looks like a much thicker book, but about half of the thickness is a spacer placed inside the book to make room for the mini-fig, so it lays flush with the front cover. I posted some pictures on the main item page if you want to see what I mean. Nothing that I would knock a star off for though.

Overall, we are VERY happy with this book. Great price for a quality book that will not disappoint young and old! LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary

My 6 year old son and I like the book very much, but it is defineately not as detail oriented as we would have liked. Many of the sets only get 1 or 2 pictures and you do not get to see many of the neat pieces or accessories that come in each of the sets. I was hoping for at least a better description with what minifigures were with each set and the additional accessories. Many sets like the Clone Turbo Tank and the different Clone Walkers and gunships do not have pictures of what is inside of them or the pieces you can take out (like where you can sit all of your figures). Also, there were some misses on the variations of some of the minifigures (the new super battle droid that have a laser rifle arm). We would have also liked an index in the back since many sets are shown 1-3 times throughout the book. The Luke minifig is neat and the book does show some great stuff we hadn't seen in a while but it just seems they didn't try hard on this book. Another neat thing was one image of a set idea that was never made but developed for the Yavin base. Would have been great with some more examples of that. Also, the distant picture of all the star wars minifigs was not good enough for me. The inside of the book covers could have been a great place to reprint the star wars poster with all the minifigs that Lego put out last year as part of the 10 year anniversary. And couldn't we have gotten a sneak peek at the next batch Lego? C'mon. Overall a nice book, but some what disappointing with the lack of detailed photos and info for each set.

This is a beautiful book!

Title: The Visual Dictionary....of all the Lego Star Wars items out on the market!

This book is organized very well.

The book has 4 chapters: 1.Movie Saga, 2. The Clone Wars, 3. Specialists Sets, 4.Beyond the Brick (96 pgs total)

It has pictures of all of the Star Wars Legos that have come out so far. There is a time-line that tells when each of the items came out, year by year and also episode by episode The pictures and descriptions are clear and colorful. Each of the Lego sets has a picture, the Lego #, number of pieces and the film episode. What more can you ask for?

The book is hardbound and the cover has about an inch thick insert where the mini-figure is stored. This makes the book appear thicker than it actually is. I wasn't expecting that but the book is still nice and thick and full of great information for any Star Wars lover.

A Great buy for under 15 bucks!

This is a keeper for sure for my 7 yr old son who will be thrilled on his Birthday!

As a Lego Star Wars fan, I had great expectations of this book - so much so that after word that an exclusive minifig was to be included, I immediately preordered it. Now that it is in my eager hands, I have to review what I had expected of the book. I agree with some reviewers here that it is a just a Lego Star Wars catalogue, albeit a very good one. As someone who have just picked up this rather expensive hobby long after my last Lego set, it is a great chronicle of all sets past, present and all in between. With all the magnificent photography in the tradition of DK books, it is one fantastic 'catalogue'. For that it has served it's purpose.

However, some of the content in my opinion, is repeat info for fans of the series. This is unnecessary for a book like this. I would rather have this book contain more information from a Lego point of view, like the great tibits of facts pertaining to some sets on some pages, rather than explaining how Darth Vader came to be. A cross between the recently published Lego DK book and the StarWars series would have been preferable for me, like the last 2 chapters on UCS sets and set development. I was done going through the book in less than an hour

But still I'm giving it 3 stars for the excellent images, the timeline of all the sets, and of course, the exclusive Luke minifig.

My son adores Lego, and the Star Wars sets in particular. When this book arrived in our mailbox, he was gone for hours, hiding in his room poring over all the sets he has, the sets he wants, the sets he missed out on, the evolution of the various mini-figures, everything else included in this volume. While this book would NOT be appreciated by someone who isn't a die-hard fan of the LEGO series, for those who collect, play with, and love the sets, it's a great book at a great price.

The only problem with the book is that it will be out of date as soon as next season's Lego Star Wars sets are announced.

On a final note, I didn't realize when I ordered that it also came with a unique minifig, which is already selling on Ebay for more than the discounted price of the book.

We waited all year for this book -- but I guess we waited too long. Who decided how many books to print? Any parent of a star wars fan could have told you to print a lot.

Way to make a kid's Christmas -- Mommy says there are no books left, child says 'Couldn't Santa make more?' Mommy grits teeth at DK sales and production depts. - Lego - Visual Dictionary - Star Wars Books - Star Wars'

Yoga Towels - yoga towels, yoga towel

I never write reviews, except if something is exceptionally horrid or exponentially amazing. These towels are the BEST for hot yoga. Extra long, super soft, and DON'T BUDGE for anything. There was no need to readjust throughout the whole 90 minute Bikram session. I know it's just a towel, but my practice benefits from not being distracted by crumpled terry cloth under my feet. Loves 'em and a most-definite recommend. Hot Yoga Mat Towel 2 Pack for Bikram Ashtanga Iyengar

I practice Bikram yoga 3-6 times a week. I have a yogi-toes towel and a similar knock-off brand and I agree with other reviewers who like a towel that stays in place (thanks to the little rubber nubs). I bought these towels because you get TWO for the price of one yogi-toes. They fit over my mat perfectly - actually about an inch longer than my mat. If you use them straight out of the packaging they don't lay flat because of the folds but now that I've washed them, they lay perfectly flat and I don't seem to have any trouble with them moving around or bunching up. (Perhaps those people who have this problem are moving around too much on the mat to begin with.) The best part about these towels is that they are WAY more absorbent than the yogi-toes and they dry much faster as well. I'm glad I bought these and not another expensive yogi-toes!

I ordered this towel primarily for its value, as I practice Bikram yoga (almost) daily and needed several to use between washings. I'm very pleased with its quality and the cool blue color. It is extremely soft microfiber, which is incredibly absorbent during a hot practice. Its 2' x 6' size fits perfectly over my yoga mat (Yoga Mats by Mivizu Eco Friendly Anti Slip Yoga Mat With Extra Thickness Skidless Mat for Pilates, Exercises, Aerobics, Yoga 72" x 24" x 1/4" 7 Color Options). It moves minimally during postures, but certainly not enough to be distracting, and certainly not enough to warrant spending double the price on other pricey brands. Don't use fabric softener when washing, as it will diminish the absorbent quality.

I recently started taking hot yoga classes based on Baptiste method. Without towels, mat becomes slippery and poses unstable. Considering that this is vinyasa style yoga to ensure constant, stable movements, I choose to invest in purchasing these towels. They came in solid white color. Having two is helpful because I can alternate them between the washes. They can be hang dry and can dry overnight. These towels may not be as attractive as Yogitoes or Manduka brands, but they are practical and serve their purpose just fine. I am sure I will be getting more as I am increasing my number of classes per week. Having them all in same color makes wash more energy efficient.

Having these hot yoga towels to do Bikram doesn't make the "torture room" any less difficult, but it does make the practice more do-able both during and after class. The yoga towel completely covers the rubber mat so offers a security from its slipperiness during postures as well as doesn't twist like terry cloth towels . . . thus you don't have a wad of towel underfoot while trying to do standing bow pose. After class, the super-absorbent towel easily washes with a good soak in some soapy water and then dries quickly if left hanging. Living in the city, I don't have laundry in my apartment so the towel's quick wash-and-dry allows me to use it a couple times before I send it off to the laundromat.

The yoga towels were a great value compared to the nice bright yoga towels that I see at my yoga studio for $65. Two for $50 is a much better value. I don't worry that others have the nicest deep colors vs. the palid grey of this product. The problem is that the towel tends to bunch up on my mat even with water spritzed on to hold it in place. Perhaps my chatterrunga is a not as light as the next person's. Still even a twist from one position to another bunches up the towel. I look around and see the $65 towels laying perfectly flat and wonder if it might be worth the 260% mark up...

Overall good, especially when it gets a bit damp. I have tried the yogitoes as well for hot yoga. Both work well but the yogitoes did grip a bit more. However, this is a great buy and the towels do work very well for hot yoga.

I have a Gaiam mat and use this on top in my hot yoga class. I used to slip and slide constantly without this towel, and beach/bath towels bunch up way too much. My REI pack towel did an ok job of decreasing slippage too, but it wasn't nearly long enough to cover the whole mat. I've never tried a more expensive towel, but I am highly satisfied with this one.

I have to agree with the other reviewer, this towel bunched up CONSTANTLY during Bikram. I looked around at the Manduka and Gaiam mats and they had not even a crinkle. The positives are theyre heavenly soft, super absorbant and dry quickly. But you get what you pay for. They have a good grip and my feet dont slide on them, the only problem is that they dont lay completely flat and need constantly adjustment, or jusy lay on the crinkles. - Bikram - Yoga Towel - Yoga Towels'
