Digital Camera Case - camera case, case logic
I have a closet full of camera cases and bags, but all of them are either too small or larger than I needed for my Panasonic DMC-FZ35 Super-Zoom. After checking out all the available cases at my local chain electronics store, the Case Logic DCB-304 is about as close to perfect as I could find. The camera fits well, with room to spare. It has storage for extra batteries, memory cards, or any small accessories. It's lightweight, well padded, and offers moderate protection. A nice case for 'Super-Zooms', that is priced right. Case Logic DCB-304 High/Fixed Zoom Camera Case (Black)
If youre reading this you should be clicking BUY!! It ia a Great Bag with all the Right sized pockets and Hidden storage compartments for Mem Cards and Accesories It was the perfect Buy For My Powershot Sx30 IS, it fit like a glove andhad space for more.
I bought two camera bags to see which would work best for my Panasonic Lumix FZ35. This bag is more compact of the two and has fewer compartments than the wider Case Logic PSL-46 bag I purchased. This model only has one zipper along the top opening to the main compartment. Two zippers would have allowed for easier, quick access to the camera (for pull-and-grab).
This camera bag would be great if I wanted to travel very light and only bring the camera without the accessories (spare battery charger, hood, etc.) I do like the side zip pockets better on this bag - holds small items more securely - and the strap webbing is better quality with this model bag over the other one I got.
I've written the review for the larger Case Logic PSL-46 on Amazon, so I won't repeat the details here.
Bought this bag on Amazon, but was actually sold by [...]. The bag arrived way before the scheduled delivery date thru Fedex. I was able to fit my Panasonic Fz 35 camera and every accessories(battery, lens hood, hood adaptor, battery charger, len cap, USB cable) that comes with camera into the bag and they fit in just right, the only thing that doesn't fit in was the AV cable and seriously you don't need that in the bag
I purchased the Case Logic DCB-304 High/Fixed Zoom Camera Case together with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40 digital camera based on Amazon's suggestion in the "Frequently Purchased Together" section the web page. The product met my expectations and I am satisfied with it. In my opinion it is well constructed and has adequate padding to protect the camera from the knocks that sometimes accompany travel.
I carry my camera in the case with the lens hood either in storage mode (i.e., reversed on the lens)or fastened to the lens in normal mode. You need to know that the camera just fits in the case when the lens hood is attached in the normal position. If you plan to carry the camera with a telephoto extension and adaptor attached together with the lens hood I don't think it will fit the case (I don't have these accessories so I am not absolutely sure about this).
There are two side pockets in which I store the av, usb cables, battery charger and spare battery. There is a zippered pocket in the inside of the top of the case where I carry my spare memory cards.
I found this to be a very handy compact case that just fits the camera plus essential accessories and is convenient to carry and great for traveling especially where space is at a premium. If you have need to carry more accessories or equipment then a larger case or camera bag will be necessary.
I wanted a sturdy little bag just large enough to carry my Nikon Coolpix P100 and a couple of extra batteries and memory cards and that is exactly what I got. It is padded enough that I feel my camera is safe in it. It has room in the main compartment for my camera with the carrying strapped attached. I put my batteries and memory cards in the two little side compartments and I am set to go. I like that all the compartments have a zipper so nothing falls out and I only have to open one compartment at a time. I am very happy with this little bag.
I researched for quite some time on what case to get for my new P100. I definitely hit the nail square on the head.
Holds the camera snug and has enough clearance between the top for the OEM camera strap, and probably a good after market strap. The padding feels like a good 1/4" neoprene foam, sewn inside a good heavy tight nylon weave outside and a silky smooth nylon ripstop style inner lining. I use the zippered pocket inside the camera compartment lid-flap to hold my many SD cards. The zippered outside pockets easily hold my 2 extra batteries and wall/car charger and cords. smooth zippers too. The case shoulder strap adjusts long enough to carry diagonally across torso. I'm 5'11" and not skinny. It actually will hang low on the waistline when adjusted all the way out. There is a wide flush belt loop on the back too. I bought the a Zipshot tripod from Tamrac that straps perfect to the shoulder strap loops on the back using the tripods attached bungee straps. This is a great lite and compact rig. I am very happy with this camera bag. I plan on taking this rig everywhere I go. I don't want to miss that perfect shot again. I've heard that one before. ;-) - Case Logic - Camera Accessories - Camera Case - Digital Camera Case'

Portable - 4gb, mp3
This little device is a high quality and very easy to use 'MP3' player. Of course it does more than just play music. From a usability perspective, I think it rivals the iPod interface and provides more feedback. While I really love the device, there are some things that I wish were a little better.
Pros
----
- Very nice screen and just big enough that if you were stuck on a plane, watching a movie still is an enjoyable experience.
- Simple and very intuitive interface. I love the fact that the iPod-like wheel actually rotates.
- Expansion via MicroSD cards is a great feature. I was able to swap the MicroSD card between my BlackBerry and the Fuze and be able to share images, and music.
- The FM Radio and ability to record from it is one of the coolest features. There's something about the randomness about radio that I still really like. And the ability to record a song that I don't already have can save you some money.
- I haven't used the external mic yet, but I think that's a neat feature to have when you have a thought and want to record it. I can think of several times where I've had a thought and wasn't able to write it down.
Cons
----
- The most frustrating experience I've had with the Fuze is the ability to get Video transferred. I've tried multiple formats and have been very unsuccessful in finding the right format to use. This is the main reason I've not given it a full 5 star review. Of course it's ridiculous to think that this would be a 'Movie' player. However, I have some great concerts that I would love being able to watch as well as listen to. I'm not interested in watching a movie.
- The on/off switch is great if you want to make sure that you don't accidentially turn on/off. However, I think it's overly difficult. Especially if you have large fingers. I would have preferred to press the Play button for a couple of seconds.
- The device 'hiccups' when scrolling through music that has album art. For some reason, when you get to the list of albums, the select button doesn't work until the album art appears. Often requiring you to double-click. Not a big deal, unless you're quickly trying to find a song to add to the play list.
- Finally, the device is either too new or not popular enough to warrant accessories. I really want to buy a protective cover, but they don't exist. I've read that some people are using Nano covers, but they don't fit well enough. This is really bad if you want to use the Fuze while exercising or cutting the lawn.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Fuze to anyone looking for a low-cost small media device. The cons shouldn't sway you away from buying it, but they are good to know. I'll update my review when I figure out the right combination of video formats for the device. SanDisk Sansa Fuze 4 GB Video MP3 Player (Black)
This player has really just become available. I ordered thru an Amazon seller, before it became available. Shipping was a little higher. But I wanted it right away. This thing is a perfect size, but beware..little if any accessories exist for it at the moment. I am sure this will change. A skin would be nice to protect the front face..which is very attractive to scratching. The thumb wheel works great, and I have big thumbs. All the menus are easily accessible and it syncs with Windows Media
Player 11 quickly and easily. I have mostly older CD's that I wanted to rip to file and then sync. Most all of the cover art was available with WMP11 and it rolled seamlessly into the Fuze. Several view modes while playing , one with the EQ, one with the cover art enlarged, one with time of song and time left etc;. Screen is big enough to suit my needs and it plays very well through the aux jack in my car. Battery seems to last longer than some. I would say the only drawback is that this battery is NOT replaceable according to Sansa, so hope it lasts awhile. Overall the price is great and the ease of carrying a few Micro SDHC cards give it unlimited potential. Great unit.
UPDATE: After having this a couple weeks, I would give it 5 stars, GREAT little unit...With the Fuze itself and the 4 Gig Micro SDHC card, I now have 2163 songs on it. I also had a 2 gig card with a 150 songs on it and counting. Performs flawlessly.
UPDATE 2: Dec.19,2008. I still have had no problems with mine. No skipping, or ticks. And no problem with a myriad of different headsets.
I'm sure its possible to get defective units, as anything produced in mass quantity is going to have a few slip through with a defect or two. But, from my point of view.....no problem
UPDATE 3: Jul 10, 2009. One minor drawback. With the Fuze volume all the way to max and my car volume on max, it still...on some songs is not loud enough for me. Some rock music, you know.....you just might like loud. This does not always allow that, especially over road noises. Sitting still it is fine, but if you like loud music through the car stereo, this could be a little lacking. - Portable - 4gb - Sansa - Mp3'

Gps System Accessories - charger, garmin nuvi 350
I disagree with the above reviewer in that you CAN use this while it's charging. It's possible that that person was unable to get a strong enough signal to operate it or perhaps another issue, but NO, it does not go into PC mode. Otherwise, having this charger is convenient when you want to take your GPS on the go with you & it needs some juice but you don't have enough time to do this in the car. Or you're traveling and you don't want to deal with leaving your charger in the car. It's very inexpensive & you don't need to buy any other bells and whistles to charge your GPS. By the way, mine's a Garmin Nuvi 255w. Garmin Nuvi 200 200W 205 205W 215T 250 250W 270 300 310 350 360 370 500 550 600 610 650 660 670 680 750 755T 760 770 775T 780 850 860 880 900T AC Wall Adapter Charger
This item was listed as a Garmin branded charger, and I was expecting an exact replacement for the AC charger that came with my Nuvi 350. This is an off branded charger. The cord is a bit shorter than the original, the usb plug that goes into the unit on the original as offset 90 degrees, this one is straight, and the output of this is slightly lower than the OEM product.
It still works, but the shortened cord is limiting. Price was good, and shipping was relatively fast.
It is completely wrong statement: "The chip prevents the GPS unit from going into "PC" mode so you can use your GPS while it charges."
Nuvi 750 acts exactly the same way as it connected to USB port. You CANNOT use it due charging process.
this charger is for cell phones, it is NOT by NUVI as Amazon says, the one I received is by CCM Mobile, when plugged into my nuvi 750 it does go into pc mode(as others have said), I love it when other people tell you that NO it doesn't go into pc mode, maybe Amazon sends out different models and maybe they received one by Nuvi, but I didn't, I have played with it many times trying to get it to work(plugged and unplugged several times quickly and did get it to be in the charge mode one time, but I can not get it to repeat so it is not dependable), truly does not do what Amazon advertises it to do, a useless $3.50 piece of junk, do not buy for GPS's, also, it is not the same as the picture of the item on Amazon's page
I went to charge up my Garmin GPS and in less than a minute this product stop working. A spark shot out from the outlet and the adapter suddenly stopped working.
Of course I threw it away immediately. Since I paid so little for this product I simply didnt bother with paying for the postage to return it in hopes to receive another adapter. I was extremely disappointed!!!
I ordered this item because it specifically listed it's compatibility with the Garmin GPS I have. When it arrived not only did the item packaging not match list the Garmin, it didn't even indicate it was appropriate for ANY GPS - but rather for cell phones. Further, the item looked markedly different from the one shown on the website. Only good news was that Amazon promptly refunded my money.
I bought 2 of these for my kids' GPS's. I learned from experience that you cannot rely on the auto plug to keep your GPS alive. I had a Magellan GPS which I kept in the car and only used it every once in a while. Well, after only about 10 months, it died and would not turn on. I contacted Magellan who, by the way, would not honor their warranty, and learned that it was probably the battery that had died due to lack of use. In the meantime, we had given both of our kids GPS's for their vehicles so I purchased these AC chargers for their Garmin Nuvi's which are still functioning fine over a year later. They can keep the batteries in their GPS's constantly charged which should greatly increase their life.
It works fine as advertised.
It brings the USB mode on GPS when you connect.
After leaving it for a minute and giving a tap on the screen, the normal screen comes up.
By sliding the power to off, it goes into charging mode.
After no using my GPS for sometime (I bought it at Amazon), the battery was completely dead. The power cable for the cigarret lighter didn't work as intended. I bought this AC/DC wall charger and it worked right away. A good investment for a very reasonable price. - Garmin Nuvi 350 - Charger - Garmin Nuvi - Gps System Accessories'

Accessories - ball chair, body ball
I had a shipping problem with my ball, and I also ended up with the wrong size. Max Fitness went the extra mile and met all of my needs with 100% integrity. They were pro-active and gracious.
I also love the ball. One qualification for those of you considering getting a ball. The size of the ball may depend on not only your height but what you are using it for. In my case, I'm 6' tall and I use the ball to do Core Exercises as taught by Gunnar Peterson and the 65 cm ball is definately too small for me. The 75 cm ball works for me, and I'm completely satisfied both with it's quality and the excellent service I received from Max Fitness in the process.
You can't go wrong with these folks. Max Fitness 75cm Exercise Ball with Foot Pump (Black)
I bought this item to use as a chair replacement, which means it likely gets used more often than if for exercise. I bought this items a month ago and have used it almost daily since. To date I have not had to reinflate the ball and it has been sturdy and comfortable. The enclosed pump didn't inspire a lot of confidence but actually worked just fine, and given the fact that it may not require a lot of use, should be suitable for the life of the ball.
I like this ball now that I have it set up- it's great for stretching and even as a chair. However, when it arrived it had an oily residue all over it accompanied by a terrible chemical smell- maybe I'm just oversensitive to these things, but it was really overpowering. I washed it as best I could, and the smell has faded over time, but avoid this product if you have any sensitivity to smells or chemical.s
The rubber in this exercise ball is much thicker than others I've purchased, so I can see why it's listed as anti-burst. The included pump was helpful as well. As indicated in the instructions, the ball didn't seem to blow up that much initially, but after letting it sit overnight, I was able to add more air. So far I'm very pleased with it.
I used a standing bicycle pump to pump up the balls -- still took about 15 minutes per ball. I also sprayed them down with soap and put them in the shower for 10 minutes in an attempt to remove the plastic smell, which worked. I let them hang out for a day at 3/4 full and then pumped more air into them to reach 75 cm. I alternate between the ball and my chair at my desk which works well. It took a little tweaking to get it to the right height.
This thing holds up to my weight which is 318lbs w/o flinching. I lift weights on it, so its really holding a lot more than that. It is quite strong. The pump they give you with it though makes it take a LONG time and a lot of energy to fill up, its nice if you have your own pump.
Just received this a couple of days ago. I did not notice an odor as other reviews mentioned. The ball is made well and I'm not worried about it bursting. It is hard to get the plug out to refill. The pump works too.
I've ordered and returned 2 other stability balls, but I'm keeping this one.
I was very pleased overall with the ball I received, as it was easy to inflate with the included pump, surprisingly sturdy, and came as advertised.
However, as a few other users have noted, the ball has a VERY strong chemical smell after it's been taken out of its packaging. I closed it up in another room with the windows open for a couple days, then washed the whole inflated ball in the shower with dishwashing liquid, and those two steps reduced the smell by about 90%. Hopefully in time it will disappear completely -- I wouldn't have used the ball at all if the smell hadn't gotten better gradually. It makes me wonder what kind of chemicals the thing is outgassing and if they're safe. MaxFitness should either deal with this issue by de-scenting or washing the balls before they're shipped, or by addressing the issue in their instructions.
Other than the smell, the ball has been great and everything I hoped for. - Body Ball - Stability Ball - Fitness - Ball Chair'

Milwaukee M18 - m18, work lights
This Worklight does not come with batteries, so if you don't have M18 batteries you will have to buy them and a charger separately. Worklight is very bright. I hooked up a M18XC battery and turned the light on and it stayed lit for hours without draining the battery. I finally shut it off so I didn't burn up the bulb (it only comes with one). The head pivots and there is a hook to hang it from making it very versatile. A magnet, like on the previous version would have been nice but it doesn't have one. Great rechargeable flashlight. Milwaukee 49-24-0171 18 Volt Worklight
Standard work light that compliments Milwaukee's new M18 line. Provides ample light and good run time. It generates a lot more heat than my old work light, but nothing that takes away from the performance. Overall a I am very happy with this light.
Super bright, light weight. I lost my last one, left it on a truck I was working on. I liked it so well I bought another one within a day to replace it. Amazon had the cheapest price on the internet.
Mine worked fine for about 6 weeks, then one day during routine work in the garage it went out. I thought the bulb burnt out because it was all black so I changed it, still didnt work. So I took it apart, turns out it got so hot it melted the plastic piece that holds one of the contacts below the bulb and the + and - made contact and fried the circuit board in it. It was strange because it wasnt on any longer than previous uses but I guess it melted a little each time and it finally made contact the last time. When it worked it was nice and bright. Easy to hold or set anywhere, handy fold out hook on the back, rotating head. But rained the compact batteries a little faster than I would have liked. But did get really hot during normal use. I am going to replace it with an LED version.
I recently bought the Milwaukee 2694-24 M18 4 Tool Combo Kit here on Amazon for a great price, and I figured I would review each tool that comes in this kit once I have had a chance to use it more than just a few times or after I test it on a few jobs, then I can more accurately give my feedback on each tool as well as the kit as a whole, which as I can say after only two days of ownership the kit is this far a 5 out of 5 in my book.
I am starting by reviewing the work light because besides the drill it is the tool I have used the most thus far! I have not had a chance to give the Sawzall or Circular Saw true tests yet beyond making a few cuts. Anyway this work light has exceeded my expectations, usually these are thrown in with a combo kit just so they can call it a 4 tool kit instead of 3 and they typically are more of an afterthought than a useful tool that you grab for often. But this light has a few cool features that separate it from some of the others. First off it is very light weight yet still doesn't feel too cheap esp. once you get the battery on it. It has nice thick rubber material all over it so it is easy and to grip and feels nice in your hand, it also has rubber around the plastic lens which could prevent it from shattering should the light sustain a fall, but I am sure the plastic is shatter resistant anyway. The pivoting head is nice as well, it has 12 different positions that it can go into and it makes a nice click sound so you know. It can also be positioned straight up which I find very useful, not only for ceiling work/painting but lighting an entire dark room, when you point it straight up and place it in the middle of the room it gives you the candle effect and does it very well due to its huge beam pattern.
As for the lights output, well it is extremely bright to say the least, much brighter than I expected. I have not used a ton of portable work lights but I cant really see needing anything brighter than this unless you work in a coal mine all day. As mentioned it also has a huge beam pattern that will cover an entire wall easily. I am happy about this because I was a little disappointed when I learned it did not have an LED base bulb but honestly that is not as big of a concern now that I have used it, although I do prefer the white light output of an LED to the yellow tint that a Xenon bulb produces. As you probably already know the built in hook is very thoughtful as well as useful, it folds away into the body of the light. I find myself driving a screw into a stud just to have someplace to hang the light off of. Although it is plenty stable sitting on the ground, esp. with the XC battery. I should also mention I tried both the XC battery and the smaller compact 48-11-1815 battery and there is no visible difference in light output, just how long it lasts I assume but even with the compact battery it must last a long time because I left it on for an hour by accident and it was only down to 3 bars on the battery gauge, I think I read that it should go for 5 hours with the XC battery so around 3 with the smaller one would be my guess and that is very good IMO.
There are really only a few minor cons I can think of, I mean this is only a work light after all, you can't find too much wrong with it if it works well. But for one thing it does indeed get a little toasty to the touch as another review mentioned. I am not surprised that a bulb putting out this much light is going to generate some heat, it is not a cause for concern. You are not going to burn yourself touching it and it will not affect anything, just something to keep in mind. Also another nitpick here is that the hook opening is only just under an inch and a quarter making it too small to hook around some stuff that you would like it to hang from, for example I was working in a closet and it would not hang from the clothes rod, again this is just nitpicking, overall it is a great light that is extremely bright and seems like it will hold up over the years durability wise. I am giving the light a 4 overall mainly because I think that they should be using LED's in all of their lights now, the M12 line has them and Milwaukee advertises their M18 LED light as being able to last for 12 hours on a single charge which doesn't surprise me but that is double the rated run time of this light which would be nice and as I already mentioned I prefer the white light output of an LED lamp. - M18 - 18v Light - Milwaukee - Work Lights'

Picture Hanger - picture hangers, picture hanger
the brand is OOKS , and i never heard of them before i went to Lowell's needing a lot of different picture hangers. i am so glad i found this.
This is a great system, all the items are fantastic quality and the nails are so sharp that you just press them in with your thumb to get them to stay then hammer the rest of the way. Each hanger is labeled for the total pounds it can hold. These hangers also come in quantities of 35 each for the 10 and 20 lb hangers. They also have a "shield" hanger that will protect the wall and holds itself in place for easier hanging. i wont ever use another brand, this one beats them all. OOK 50918 34 Piece Professional Picture Hanging Value Pieces Kit
Can't believe I didn't find these sooner. We moved from our own home with walls and walls of pictures, and this pack was indispensible coming to an apartment. Neat and very sturdy. Makes correcting positioning easy and (nearly) spotless.
These are by far the best and easiest hangers. I ordered several different types , all with good reviews, but these are by far the best. So easy to place and install. Measuring where the picture will hang is very easy with these.
We transformed our walls into great decor just buy using this kit and hanging up so many of the great pictures that we never hung up since we moved in last year.
It does not get any better than this. I wrecked a few because they bend kinda easy but who cares, you get a lot of them.
Amazon has this listed as a 34 piece set. It's a bit misleading since it later says in the product information that it only hangs 17 pieces. I was confused recently when I only received one package of 17 pieces believing Amazon had forgotten to send one package. Be sure to order 2 if you're planning on 34 hangers. Quality is decent on these otherwise.
I bought two of these to hold a flag that was framed, I used two even though one would probably suffice. I found that the nails wanted to back out of the holes on their own...very odd. Hopefully they will not back all the way out with the pressure pulling down on them, I think they will be ok. Can't give them a great review because of this flaw.
I bought a really large mirror that needed something sturdy to hold it to the wall. These hangers work perfect and they are sooooo easy to install that I can do it. I don't need my husband help for these. They are super soft to the dry wall also. They cling easily and looks like the drywall is talking it well. Just a pin size hole and it can hold heavy items. The best part is that, the hooks come in various sizes and weight limits, so depending on what you are hanging, you can choose the size. Excellent product.
I am not a very handy around the house person. Making holes in the wall occasionally resulted in extra holes, crumbling plaster, spackling and starting over. Then I discovered OOK system! It is easy to use, good results on plaster walls, and I have not had to redo it once!
The nails are sharp, they go in easy, and it is not possible to put them in crooked. This is a nice assortment to always have on hand! I highly recommend them. If I can use them with easy - anyone can!
I live in a building that was built in 1911. Our walls are plaster and lathe...and regular nail hangers pull out...or worse...damage the walls. These OOK hangers are fabulous for older walls...and work just as well in my bathroom which has modern drywall.
I have a 40lb mirror hanging up in my bedroom...that has now been up for year number four. If you get the appropriate size hanger for the weight of what you're hanging...trust me...you'll NEVER have to worry about a crash in the middle of the night.
I have occasionally had to use pliers to remove the nail/pins from the wall when removing the hangers...but otherwise...they're as easy to remove as they are to install. The hooks are large...and there's no danger of twisting or mashing them with the hanger like other nail-type hangers. And they lay really flat to the wall.
By the multi-pack. You'll want to go back and replace your existing picture hangers with these. - Picture Hangers - Picture Hanger'

Gps Carrying Case - case, garmin nuvi 780
There are two types of GPS carrying cases out there. There are small, light, clip-to-your-belt cases that are good for carrying your unit when you leave the car for a while, and don't want to leave your GPS behind to tempt thieves. But it's also nice to have a safe and sturdy place to store your GPS between trips. This just might work for you.
I use the case to hold my NUVI and a spare power cord. The cigarette lighter adapter on my main cord self-destructed once, and since then I've always carried a spare with me. The main power cord I leave attached to my beanbag-like "Garmin portable friction mount" (a must-have item for NUVIs, much better than a suction cup on your windshield), and just wind it a couple of times around the base. The friction mount, and this case, stack up nicely on a shelf until I need them, and then I have only two things to grab and take with me.
One reviewer mentioned the suction cup mount won't fit inside the case along with the NUVI and power cord. I threw mine away, so I can't say either way. If you are still using the suction cup, and want to stow it with your GPS, this case probably isn't for you. But if you use the friction mount, and want to bring a spare power cord handy, this works great. HDCSXL: Extra Large Hard Shell Case For Garmin, TomTom, Mio GPS with 4.3" Screen
Case is hard shell for protection. The photo appears to show what looks like a Garmin Nuvi to me with the adaptor and dash mount tucked neatly in the pocket of the case. Forget it. There is probably enough room for it all, but unless your dash mount folds flat it does not fit as shown. Even removing the GPS clip from the swivel ball mount, you are still left with the rigid ball arm and base that simply does not fit as shown. If you try and use the storage pocket, you simply cannot close the case as the suction base presses on the unit. Can you make it fit? Sure, by sticking the suction base along side the GPS unit itself and not using the pocket as shown and somewhat forcing the case closed. Don't know about other makes, but I do not recommend whatsoever for Garmin Nuvi.
While this is a great protective case and will keep your Nuvi fairly safe, the photo used to promote the item is misleading. I like the unit but I have a Garmin Nuvi 765 and just a s the previous poster wrote the windshield mount will not fit in the case properly. The mount has a rigid ball as part of the mount and that is the piece that will not safely fit in this case. Yes you can force it but that is taking a chance that if you drop the case it will press upon your screen and possibly damage it. Otherwise it's an excellent case and will allow you to store most of the other components you need to take store. The area you see in the photo with the net mesh is where you store the accessory items. Good solid material and well manufactured, strong zipper. I give it 3 stars more if the photo was changed.
Bill
This case was exactly what I was looking for. I have a 4.3" TomTom plus the power cord and traffic antenna. Everything fit nice and snug. The case does come with an insert that is intended to cradle the gps but I had to take it out to fit everything in. The insert would perhaps come in handy if I had a smaller gps unit. Overall I would recommend this product.
I bought this case for my TomTom 340 XL after much deliberation and reading a lot of reviews. It holds the TomTom perfectly and seems to cradle it protectively in the soft foamy indentations for it. My cord with the traffic unit fits in the mesh pocket inside the case. So both my TomTom and the cord that it needs to use it fit nicely inside this case!
I bought this for my tom tom with 4.3" screen. There is JUST enough room for the mount, power cord and unit to fit snugly in the case even with the little removable insert. Nice sturdy case for the price which was one of the lowest prices I could find.
I have a Garmin Nuvi 780 (4.3" screen) and it fits fine. The case has plenty of space, though doesn't fit all the cords and accessories (picture may be deceiving; depends on model/size of cords/type of mount). This case will comfortably hold the GPS, USB cable, plus other small accessories. It does not hold the window mount (suction cup) or power adapter (my model) without cramming.
The case is tough, but not a true 'hard shell'. The zipper and stitching are fine. With the removable inner padding/cradle the GPS unit will be thoroughly protected. The inner mesh pocket is good, but not stitched straight across. The shell itself is not padded on the inside.
My main gripe is that there is not a second elastic band to hold the GPS in its side of the case. This means that when you open the case the GPS could fall out. So what I've done is move the inner padding into the mesh pocket and place the GPS unit in there, but now this means the accessories won't be held in place on the other side.
Overall it is still a good product, especially for the low price. Other cases I've seen have only enough space for the GPS unit alone. I wanted some additional space, so this case works for me. There's enough space you could have two units in the one case.
Have you ever seen a clam shell with a handle? That's probably why this one doesn't have one either. The product is good. It provides great protection to the wide screen Garmin Nuvi 780. Even with leather protection sleeve, it all fits. Like I said, it wasn't meant to be carried around. You can't. It's slippery and it has no handle. Was that an oversight or a design flaw? I'll keep it but it just stays in the car anyway. The Nav goes with us in my wife's purse or my video bag. - Case - Garmin Nuvi Case - Garmin Nuvi 780 - Gps Carrying Case'

Bag
This is a larger bag, but perfect for taking to the beach, as it fits towels and a change of clothes very nicely. I'm the kind of person who likes pockets, so the two front pockets with velcro are nice, however I wish the inside had a zippered pocket to ensure important things like my wallet or camera can't just fall out if knocked over. Double Pocket Canvas Tote, Navy
I really like my tote! When I go to church, it seems I always have items to be delivered to others. I use this as a purse, and there is still plenty of room for those "items". So I only have to carry one bag. There's even room for my Bible. My only complaint is I WISH, oh how I wish, that there were pockets on the inside.
I bought this to replace a very well-worn tote, but didn't want to get something too small. I measured the tote I was using and this was just a bit smaller it height. I was very pleased when it arrived. The canvas is a good quality, heavy weight. The pigment dye is dark and rich, while the inside is striped and sewn together perfectly. The 2 pockets on the outside are nice, but I think it would benefit from additional pockets, both inside and out. Overall, it seems very well-constructed. All edges are nicely finished, no lose threads. Highly recommend.
I think my Mom will like it.
Size is great, love the stripped lining, wont stand up by itself but I think my Mom will fill it full so that wont be a problem.
I had to take off one star because in some lights it looks more peach than pink.
These are well made, nice totes. They have a good amount of room for everything you would need. I bought these for my out of town wedding guests, and am going to fill them will snacks and stuff.
The only issue I have with my order is that these totes look like they can stand up on their own, from what the picture shows. I specifically bought these because I thought they could stand up. Well they cannot... Now I don't know what I am going to do, because if I give the hotel these with all the stuff in them I am afraid that the stuff will fall out when the hotel puts them down. I am also down to the time that I cannot order any more from another company...'

Hd Dvd - hdmi cable, dvi
This is a great connector, but there was an unforeseen problem with my intended use for it. Hopefully I can save someone the trouble. I planned to connect a DVD upconverter (HDMI) to a computer monitor (DVI). Like I said, the connector is fine, I got everything hooked up, and when I turned it on a picture flickered on the screen and then it went blank. Turns out after reading through the manuals that the DVD player requires the monitor to be HDCP compliant. So it works, but since it's afraid I might be using it to make illegal copies of something it shuts off my picture immediately. I'm really rather frustrated that once again a DRM scheme has made something less convenient for a legitimate customer. So it's back to my 19" TV from 1995 until I can save up enough for a brand new monitor/TV with HDCP. Isn't progress great? I'm sure I'll find some other use for this nice adapter. New Gold Plated HDMI Female to DVI-D Male Video Adaptor
Great tool for my Older Hd TV. Works perfect. I have a HDMI running from the computer to the DVI-D on the TV. Adapter fit perfect. Running the signal from a Laptop: Win7 64-bit with a HDMI to DVI-D, using the Fn+F5 Keyboard shortcut to make picture fit correctly.
GREAT DEAL. GREAT ADAPTER, GREAT PRICE, GREAT QUALITY. Thanks
Works as described. If you have problems with your HDMI connection (TV) being recognized by your video card just uninstall the video card driver through Device Manager (My Computer - System Information - Hardware) then reboot computer. Turn off computer. Plug in monitor(s) you want to use with video card, turn on computer and reinstall driver for video card, reboot computer again.
I have a dual monitor Nvidia 6200 (1 VGA and 1 DVI). I now have a vga port for my 20" LCD computer monitor and the card recognized my HDMI connected LG 42" flat panel on my DVI port.
Very cool! Very good product and you can't beat the price.
i just plugged this into my HP p6774y DVI input and it worked with my HDMI LCD immediately..in fact I got an added bonus as I quickly learned that my PC supports dual monitor. Picture looks great so far, hope it lasts a long time.
i was given a hdlcd tv as a gift but it takes dvi-m plug this did the job of adapting so i could use hdmi cable too bad the old hd tvsdidn't run audio through the same input.takes lots of preshure to get screws in they needed to trim a little rubber off the post guides so it secures beter otherwise its great adaptor. HDMI cables stay in nicely.
I was really impressed with how nice and high quality this item appears to be when I received it, the pic doesn't do it justice, it didn't feel cheap as I expected for the price I paid. Much nicer than the ones I got from fry's. It works great. Everything fit snug and video quality appears great. I also got the hdmi cable with this connector and it's just as great.
THIS ADAPTER IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE DVI TO HDMI CABLE BECAUSE YOU CAN USE THE ADAPTER AND THEN USE WHICHEVER HDMI CABLE YOU LIKE/THINK IS THE BEST. IS USE THIS WITH THE CABLE MENTIONED BELOW TO HOOK MY COMPUTER UP TO MY 40" SONY BRAVIA HDTV, WHICH I USE AS MY MONITOR, AND BAM! I GET 1080p PICTURE RESOLUTION, WHAT MORE COULD I ASK FOR? (1440p!LOL)IT IS A VERY CHEAP ADAPTER(NOT THE ADAPTER QUALITY BUT THE PRICE IS CHEAP)SO THATS A PLUS. I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU USE THIS WITH THE NEW MEDIABRIDGE ULTRA 1.4 HDMI ON AMAZON FOR 9.99. THE CABLE WORKS GREAT, ITS "FUTURE PROOF", AND IT HAS A NICE LOOK TO IT. CHECK OUT MY PROFILE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BUYING ANY HOME THEATER OR SURROUND SOUND EQUIPMENT, MY PRICE IS LOWER THAN AMAZONS AND I SHIP FREE. - Hdmi To Dvi - Dvi - Hdmi Cable - 1080p'

Sewing Books - recycle, fashion
i hate to say that i was disappointed with this book. I own their first one, so i was hoping and expecting for this one to be just as flyy, but it wasn't. i own several deconstruction books and many of their pants, jackets and skirts ideas weren't that creative and flyy like i wanted it to be. I understand that there's nothing new under the son, but i just expected something more edgier (sp?) from them in this one.
I skimmed through the book before i purchased it anyhow at barnes and nobles, so i knew what i was getting into. Since i love accessories, one that was my favorite was the headband. I know there's more, but i haven't picked up the book since i bought it sadly :( . Nonetheless i'm still a fan and supporter of their work and i will continue to be!
peace Denim Mania: 25 Stylish Ways to Transform Your Jeans
I LOVE this book. While *I* wouldn't necessarily wear all of the projects in this book, I love them because they more closely fit my ideas for recycled clothing, than almost all of the other books of this genre that I've seen. I adore the authors' funky attitudes and approaches to style, and the encouragement and tips. I haven't sewn much in many years, but am trying to improve my skills, and have a blast at the same time. My favorite project is the combo white shirt-denim puffy sleeves selection (so cute, I want to make a bunch). - Denim - Jeans - Fashion - Recycle'

Computer Accessories - otterbox, otter box
After my wife bought me an iPad and I cradled its sleek aluminum and glass body in my hands, I knew that finding a protective case for it was of paramount importance. But rather than jumping into the arduous task of researching the dizzying array of available iPad cases, I already had an idea where to look: OtterBox. My wife and I have both protected our iPhone 3GS's in the company's iPhone Defender cases for over a year and have been very happy with the results. Even after numerous accidental drops, our Defender-clad iPhones look like new underneath their "armor".
And fortunately, a quick check of the OtterBox web site revealed that the company did, in fact, offer a Defender series case for the iPad. Nearly ninety bucks and just over a week later, I am happy to report that OtterBox's Defender case for iPad is everything I had hoped it would be. At $89.95, this case is certainly one of the more expensive iPad case options available, but in my opinion, it is well worth the investment. I do have a minor quibble with the included instructions, but it is far outweighed by the product's overall quality, sheer durability, and style.
Contents:
The iPad Defender product includes a black high-impact polycarbonate shell, a separate black polycarbonate shield, a silicone outer skin, and a self-adhesive protective film. Other items include a microfiber cleaning cloth and a stiff scraper tool for applying the protective film to your iPad screen.
Packaging:
After opening the box, you find your Defender case nestled in a recyclable cardboard tray, along with a packet containing instructions and the other items included with the product. The utilitarian packaging does not quite provide the unboxing experience you'd have with an Apple product, but it suits its purpose well. Fortunately, the packaging is devoid of any unnecessary plastic or other packing material, so it's as environmentally friendly as possible.
Instructions:
Rather than providing written instructions in English and other languages, OtterBox included numbered illustrations printed inside the packet. One set of instructions illustrates how to apply the protective film, while another set illustrates how to remove the silicone skin, open the case, install the iPad, and close the whole thing back up again nice and snug. The packet also includes illustrated instructions for the company's other iPad case (the Commuter series), but they are clearly labeled as such and will hopefully not confuse any Defender purchasers. I really wish OtterBox had also provided written step-by-step Defender installation instructions, instead of relying solely on illustrations. Even well-executed illustrations (which these certainly are) can sometimes be difficult to understand, and I feel that even a sentence or two for each illustration could have provided better clarity. A web URL printed inside the packet gave me hope that more detailed instructions could be found on the OtterBox web site, but unfortunately the instructions for the iPad Defender case were not yet available on that web page at the time of this review. I'm certain that OtterBox will be rectifying this issue soon.
Installation:
By far, the most tedious part of installing this case is applying the self-adhesive protective film to your iPad's screen. The illustrated instructions do a fair job of expressing the necessary steps, but the film application could really be helped by accompanying written steps. As I applied the protective film along with its backing and used the scraper tool to smooth out bubbles, I started to get worried because the tool seemed to snag a few times, causing some small kinks which only got worse as I continued trying to gently scrape them to the edge. Fortunately, once I removed the backing from the protective film, I found that the kinks were not in the film itself, but rather in the disposable backing. Whew! The protective film ended up looking nearly perfect on my iPad screen. Removing the silicone skin, opening the polycarbonate case, inserting the iPad, and closing it all up again proved to be much easier.
Product Use:
First and foremost, the Defender case seems to achieve its primary purpose -- protecting your iPad -- very well. When you're not using the iPad, you should clip the polycarbonate shield over the iPad screen to provide maximum protection. The shield grips the edges of the case snugly, to help ensure that it doesn't inadvertently get knocked off. And when you're actually using your iPad, the shield has a retractable built-in stand which will set your iPad at a nice viewing angle for desktop or tabletop use. Or if you don't need the stand and want to hold the iPad while using it, you can simply clip the shield to the back of the case. Doing so will add a little more heft to an already-hefty iPad and case, so you can also just leave the shield off during handheld use as well. To help protect the various iPad ports, the case features integrated silicone plugs which are easy to open and close as necessary. The case also includes a removable access door to allow you to charge your iPad or mount it in a standard iPad dock. However, I did not test the iPad dock capability for this review.
Style:
Let's face it -- you're not going to buy this case because you're fashion-conscious. You're going to buy it because you (like me) want to provide the very best protection for your iPad, without locking it a vault. That notwithstanding, the OtterBox Defender case for iPad is still an attractive case. The iPad Defender is an imposing-but-stylish black polycarbonate and silicone suit of armor which, like its iPhone 3GS Defender little brother, provides a round protected window on the case's backside to clearly display the Apple logo. When the removable shield is used as a iPad stand, four small black silicone pads provide a secure footing on smooth surfaces. Both the silicone skin and the polycarbonate shield feature subtle checkering at the top and bottom edges to improve grip -- a nice touch.
Summary:
The Defender for iPad is likely the best protective case you can get under a hundred bucks. I already feel more comfortable lugging my iPad around, knowing that it will be able to stand up to just about anything I can throw at it (figuratively speaking, of course). With the Defender series case for iPad, OtterBox seems to have covered the bases quite well, offering a well-rounded combination of protection and stylishness. Electrical - recipricating saw, battery
This tool is quite powerful and last a long time on a single battery. This was part of the DC6KITA. I have tested each tool and have reviewed some. This one is not exception. On a fresh battery and with the supplied blade I continually cut 2x4's until my hand was sore from holding on. The power is nice. It did not seem too bog when pushed hard through the wood. Battery life suprised me by never giving up. On a full demo job where cutting throught various materials is necessary it might show it's weakness in longevity.
Having purchased a 1/2 rebar to test the DC410 cut-off tool, I proceeded to test the DC385 with a 18tpi metal blade. It worked quite well. The power was still there. No bogging. Of course pressure was needed to help the teeth bite, but that is to be expected.
Also the adjustable shoe is a new feature. It does not have much range of motion but at least it is there.
For most all home projects this is going to be a wonderful tool. In owning many XRP batteries and having several chargers, I don't forsee buying a corded saw. This would be a solid 5 star tool, but there is only one thing that slightly bothers me. The blade is not centered in the shoe becuase of the 4 way blade clamp. Now I gave it the 5 because I would rather have the 4 way clamp than have it centered. DeWALT DC385K 18-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Reciprocating Saw Kit
I am a woman who builds alot of stuff and works in the woods alot. I hate handling a big ol' chainsaw and this bad boy helps to cut down branches and trees up to 5in diameter for me when working on an outdoor project with no electricity available!! WOW!
DeWalt has another cordless winner here. Plenty of power. I have a corded Mikita saw that I have used for years and its great for the big, intensive use jobs. I wanted something for the smaller jobs that was cordless and not have to drag around an extension cord... quick out; quick to put away. I have a mix of corded power tool brands but settled on DeWalt for my cordless needs. I have half-dozen 18v XRP's and a couple of chargers through past purchases.
If you are in a similar situation with extra batteries and chargers...
Maxtools.com sells the 'BARE TOOL' at a good price (no batteries/charger are included). Amazon should stock the bare tools. The saw was $99 and comes with a 6" combo blade so that you can test the saw.
Be warned, my saw took almost 3 weeks to arrive, but, hey, the price is right for a DeWalt and the saw arrived without damage. However there was no owners manual which I thought was an odd oversight. But a few minutes fiddling with the front end and the blade change was figured out... lift the tab on the front right side of the saw all the way up and remove/install a blade. The button at the left front allows the 'shoe' at the front of the saw to extend/retract and lock in several positions. (If you are wondering about the moveable 'shoe', it allows for some depth-of-cut control vis-a-vis the length of your saw blade when needed for certain applications.) As for the rest, I don't need a manual to show me how to pull a trigger or change a battery. I am a huge fan of the 4-way blade clamp set up. There is a vertical and horizontal blade clamp incorporated into one head. Blade change is a snap and you can set the blade teeth to point up, down, right or left. The versatility of this feature is great! Gone are the days of contortions to cut sideways.
I had bought a Sears 19.2V cordless reciprocating saw which came with 2 batteries. However, the batteries would not hold a charge (both of them) and the brief time it work the saw seem to bog down. Believe I paid about $110 for the Sears. After the returned the Sears unit I purchase the Dewalt and couldn't be happier. Used it to cut wood and metal with excellent results. It's heavier than the Sears model but the Dewalt really works well and the battery has staying power. I paid $179 for the Dewalt with free Amazon shipping. As always its best to spend a little more money and get a quality unit.
I got this saw as part of the DC4KITA set. It's done ok so far I like it, but my only problem with it is the way the clamp is attached to the shaft (a simple, small drive and spring pin). Over time it has worked loose letting the blade flop around allot more than I'd like under use. I have replaced the clamp/shaft assembly (not sold individually BTW) and had a guy weld it to the shaft so that wont happen again. It's got plenty of power and the battery life is fine considering it's power. It's proven itself however in the fact you can put the blade in sides ways. That helps a lot if you trying to cut vary close to the edge of something, or the battery's orientation makes it bunglesome to use (in a crowed trussed ceiling for example).
My husband and I bought this for my father-in-law as an early Christmas present. He loves it -- but the battery life is crap. If you're using this for weekend projects, you should be fine. My father-in-law has a farm and this saw gets used a lot. We were there over Thanksgiving and I was using the saw. Longest battery life we got out of it was about 2 hours. And that's after being fully charged.
If you're a "power user" -- definitely buy an extra battery.
I have a 110v 13amp Milwaukee Sawzall but this is the saw I grab first. It performs just as well and I don't need a cord. If I think the cut is going to take longer than 4 minutes of heavy cutting (2 batteries) then I grab the Milwaukee. I've had mine for 4 year with no problem. The downfall is the blade clamp uses the old sys of an allen key and it comes loose. Milwaukee clamp is much better.
After I received it, fully charged the battery, put to use right away. It works very well, the weight of the saw works to your advantage and makes it more stable. One charge is good enough for my whole small-medium job. - 18v - Dewalt - Battery - Recipricating Saw'

Valentino Made In Italy Suit - valentino made in italy suit, valentino made in italy
As most every other review mentions, I too was apprehensive at buying a suit online rather than through a local suit store. This suit is my 1st Brioni suit and I love it! What I find amazing is the jacket (44L) is the only size you pick when you place the order. When the suit arrived and I took the pants to the tailor, I was pleased to see that the waist was perfect as well! I only had to have the legs hemmed.
I have a friend who owns a tuxedo shop. I had him take a look at my suits and he thinks they are made very well. I don't believe they are $1700 suits as stated on the original prices, but I could see dropping $500-$700 her locally on a suit like these. I have purchased 3 suits total (1 Brioni and 2 Valentino) from this company and I plan to buy more. I recently went shopping with my wife and found a couple of suits on sale at Van Huesen and Banana Republic. The Van Huesen was priced low at $89, but it looked like an $89 suit. The shoulders were bunched up, the lapels didn't lay right, etc. The Banana republic suit was cheap at $150 but was cheaply made compared to my first Valentino suit. I immediately went home and purchased this suit as well as another!
I highly recommend this suit to everyone who is looking. My only fear is my friends keep asking me where I get my suits. I like having this little secret since most people don't even think of Amazon as a resource for a suit.
