The difference between this battery and the "regular" 14.4v DeWalt batteries is like night and day. I was always fairly pleased with the performance I got out of my original batteries, but once I picked up one of these I was convinced that the hype is justified. Right out of the box I noticed that this battery is a bit larger and significantly heavier that the regular 14.4's. Once fully charged, I slapped it in my drill/driver and was AMAZED at how much more powerful this battery pack was. I have also been impressed with the run time between charges, but since I have not yet used it to build any decks, etc., I cannot say if the battery truly lasts 25% longer (or 40% or whatever).

I highly recommend this as a quality product that performs amazingly well. DEWALT DC9091 14.4-Volt XRP Battery Pack

This battery is acceptable as a replacement. However one flaw is that the battery is not the same size as the original. It fits the drill fine but does not fit into the carrying case properly. It is a small flaw but other than that it works fine.

As far as batteries go, they came, they charged, they performed flawlessly. The Dewalt XRP batteries are definitely worth the extra expense for longer run-times between charges, a must-have for the professional contractor.

Surprisingly my 14.4 XRP drill came with 2 XR batteries. They gave up their ghost, so I purchased 2 new XRP batteries. The difference is significant. They far outlast my old batteries, even when they were new. Getting these new batteries is a solution to reviving older DeWalt drills.

Battery works hard and long. The new battery design is much better than its predecessor. You can actually get your hand around the battery now to release it. It's true that the new battery will not fit in the old case. Hint: use a utility knife and alter the plastic case so the new battery fits.

The Dewalt DC9091 battery is clearly marked in the upper right hand corner of the paper insert as "-with 25% more run-time than standard 14.4V batteries." Compare this to the 40% more run time advertized. I am disappointed I did not get the remaining 15% capacity. Other than that, the battery is great, It fits my drill, fits my charger, and the combination of drill & battery fits in my case.

you only use a cordless drill from time to time, there's not much need for this battery. But, if you use the cordless circular saw, or perhaps the hammer drill, the extra oomph from the XRP is well worth the extra bucks.

I use my cordless circ saw (AKA cheese saw) extensively. I just love the thing for making a quick cut at the bench, or doing (quite literally} field work. The difference between the XRP and the standard battery is as obvious as rain in the cheese saw. In a drill? They go a bit longer between charges, but the difference is not nearly as striking.

If you're a fan of the cordless circ (cheese) saw, I can't recommend the XRPs highly enough.

Just purchased 2 14.4 Dewalt XRP batteries, the originals where at least 10 years old. But as with any battery they don't last forever. Could not see replacing with an 18 Volt when there was nothing wrong with the drill, a 1/2 hammer model. Charged the first one and could not believe the difference, made it feel like when it was new. Still using the first battery and its been at least 3 weeks since it was first charged. I'm not a contractor just a diyer, but they were still worth the money. If the price goes up anymore though for each battery then I'll look at the DeWalt 18 volt.If these last as long as the first pair, they will out last me.

I did not believe any of these batteries for any drills were very good. I am a contractor and use them quite a bit and usually they hold their charge for maybe half an hour before becoming really sluggish. I was almost ready to buy a new drill, but I'm the type of person who doesn't like to throw something away if it's not completely broken and I can make good use of it so I bought two of these batteries to replace the older types that I had. I bought them based on the reviews on amazon and I want to thank those people who wrote those reviews. They were very accurate and well thought out and that is why I am also taking the time to write this one. One of the reviews said that it was a bit larger than the old battery and hard to fit in the original case the drill came in. This is true. It is slightly(and I mean minimally) larger, but it certainly does fit in the case just fine and this battery HOLDS ITS CHARGE! It fits perfectly into the original charger too so don't think you have to buy another charger too. Just get one or two of these batteries and you'll be very happy. I was a bit surprised at the price at first, but after seeing how this battery performs, I am glad I paid for it instead of just getting another of the original style. Thanks Amazon people!

Cant believe the price is 30 to 40 percent less than Sears or Lowes. At the walk in retail stores for this very same new battery! Works great, fits my 14.4 XR hammer drill fine. Only problem I see with upgrading is that I cannot close the drill case completly. With the XRP's being slighty larger outside diameter than the older batterys. But think i can remove some plastic ribbing of the case with a dremel tool. And it should at least close. - Battery - Dewalt - Recommended - Cordless'

Electricity Usage Monitor

I was amazed at some of the things I found around the house that draw power just sitting there doing nothing. This thing is easy to figure out and program in your cost per Kwh.

A couple of things I found by using this device:

-- the entertainment center costs me $11 a year to have just sit there in standby mode. This is a 32" LCD TV, surroundsound system, DVD player, Wii, and subwoofer all plugged into a Monster HTS 1000 MKIII PowerCenter with Clean Power Stage 2 (8 AC outlet, 2 coax, phone & network). If I watch a DVD or play the Wii, it costs me 40 cents a day, or about 3.33 cents an hour.

-- My gaming computer (Dual Core, 500 watt power supply and 19" LCD) cost me $99 a year to run 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. That includes the occasional laser printing and occasional 2.1 speaker usage. So I turn it off more often.

-- Cell phone charger: .86 cents a year, but when charging it costs me $1.73 a year.

-- New coffee pot costs me between 5-7 cents to brew a pot of coffee and let it sit for a couple hours.

-- Toaster at 350-degrees costs me about 11 cents an hour.

-- Dell laptop charger costs me about $1.70 a year to keep it plugged in. It's about a penny and hour to charge the laptop's battery.

-- NOAA handheld weather radio costs 86 cents a year to run 24/7

In the end, it seems like it is only really worth the trouble to unplug the entertainment center when not in use and turn off the computer more often. Sure, everything draws power, but we factored in the hassle of it versus the cost.

We have been unplugging stuff around the house when we are not using it, and began to wonder how much we are saving. This thing has helped out in deciding what's worth going through the hassle of unplugging each time, and the results are almost instantaneous. I highly recommend using this device to settle the score in the fight against wasted energy usage or even in helping decide which devices/appliances around your house aren't worth owning due to ridiculous power draws.

I'm still testing more items around the house, so check back later for updates. P3 International P4460 Kill A Watt EZ Electricity Usage Monitor

I currently own two Kill-a-Watt P4460 meters. This usage meter has a memory hold over, so I can use these at circuits that are switched on and off. When the incoming electricity is shut off, the previous hours of use are kept in memory. When the electricity is turned back on, the meter will continue from where it left off. The older P4400 model does not have this hold over circuit. The P4460 is a great addition to the P4400 for studying home electical usage.

I give it **** because it could use a few improvements.

NOT because it didn't perform as expected.

Bottom line - great device. Works exactly as advertised.

I would recommend it to anyone interested in getting a

handle on actual electricity consumption and costs.

Best feature: The ability to enter your own actual cost per KwH

as taken from your utility bill.

Worst Feature: No battery backup for reading the collected data once

unplugged from the wall outlet. You have to plug the unit

back into the wall outlet to read the collected data.

Suggestions to the manufacturer:

1. Add a battery so the display can be read when not plugged in.

2. Include a short 12-14 inch extension cord so that you don"t have

crane your neck when reading the device while plugged into the wall

outlet. Some outlets are only 12-24 inches off the floor.

3. Make it 110/220 capable for 220V appliances.

4. Add a memory feature with a USB port to download and plot the data

over time in a spreadsheet.

5. Keep the price the same :-)

I have owned the original Kill a Watt for several years and find it to be a wonderful device with a few exceptions, however, the new updated unit is terrible.

The first and most important problem is that the display is not viewable unless you get down on the floor and use a flashlight. LCD displays have angles for best viewing and this one as most others are usually below the horizon of the display - so best contrast and readability occurs if you are looking up at the display from beneath it. In addition the mask for the display cuts off the top and prevents readings from any normal position.

Secondly the enunciators (labels that tell you if it is volts or amps) are tiny - so you not only need to get down on the floor with a flashlight but you need reading glasses as well to know which parameter the numerals represent.

I am fully cognisant of the fact that there is a memory and you can pull the item out of it's receptacle for a more convenient and better lit area. But where do you find one of those - no one places recepticles over head or at eye level that I know of - they are all about 1 foot off the floor. In addition the instantaneous reading of current (= not the electrical term) watts, or current volts, or amps is not memorized and pulling the device out of its working recepticle obliterates any instantaneous factor readings taken when you were measuring the device.

There are certainly many better ways to do the display - for instance locating the display on the top of the unit facing up. In addition a backlight could be added. And the parameters could be larger and clearer. In that way all you would have to do is bend down to find out your information.

I also find the menu system and toggling a big nuisance. The older unit was much easier to use. Each button had its own function. The readings were clear and straight forward - what you pushed was what you got. Now the menu and toggling system is obtuse, and time consuming. In addition in my unit the press switches did not work correctly - with sometimes nothing happening and other times it would jump three pushes with just one touch.

A last criticism is that the display should stay on when the unit is out of the wall. A small watch battery should be able to provide years of a nice contrasty display.

To sum thing up - I am very dissatisfied with its viewability and readability. It is very inconvenient to use. I am also dissastified with the logistics of the menu system - as it is haphazard and very poorly thought out. And I am dissastisfied with the control buttons which are intermittent and jumpy.

I will be returning my unit.'

Power Adapter - iphone, ipod charger

The price was so good to be true. I wanted to buy an original power adapter and the title in this item made me think I was going to get what I was looking for. Unfortunately the adapter I received didn't work and after looking at the fine print where the prongs are, I realized it has misspellings! Something Apple would never allow. It is very bad and ethically incorrect that customers are tricked with this product. USB Power Adapter for iPod, iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3Gs

I just received my adapter in the mail [...] Very prompt service. There is no green dot. Apple recalled adapters without a green dot from the USA last fall. I live in the USA, so the adapter I received is a potential fire hazard [...]

First, it appears many of the negative reviews are based on third party/ knockoffs, which may be posted under the OEM improperly, when if fact, they they're "compatible" or " Apple replacement" USB adapters.

The first wave of adapters manufactured and distributed by Apple had significant problems. Apple pulled them and replaced them with a similar looking unit, but with a green dot distinguishing it from the original defective units. If reviewers had purchased the non green dot Apple made units, they will be unhappy, and the sellers of those units should be ashamed of themselves.

The Hong Kong "Apple replacement or Compatible" can run the gamut of being based on the first Apple release, so they won't work, others may be the returned Apple units, with green dots applied.

With that in mind, I have secured actual OEM units, which I've had no problem with at all. They are compatible with all of my different generation Ipods, and works with my new 3GS Iphone.

I'd have given the product five stars except for feature I'd like to have incorporated. The ability to fold or retract the prongs. That may not be possible, but something I"d like Apple address in future adapters.

My advice is: Stay away from any adapters that are not listed as OEM so read the description closely . Contact the seller before purchasing, ask them if they can assure you the unit they are selling is an OEM Apple made unit. If so, feel free to purchase. If what they send is not OEM, you'll have the sellers assurance to contact Amazon if the seller doesn't refund your money in full and pay for the postage to return the item.

"Charging is not supported with this accessory" is the message that appears when I plug it in to my new iPhone 3Gs. No charge at all after leaving it plugged in overnight. Not much use for a charger that doesn't work. By the way, it has the "green dot" and is exactly the same look and feel as the original Apple charger. Additionally the customer service line for vibecellular is overflowing and you cannot reach them by phone.

Bought this after reading mixed reviews and needless to say it does not work. Didn't bother sending it back for a refund (because I'll waste more money on shipping) so I just tossed it in the trash. At first, the adaptor seems like it works but it DOES NOT CHARGE my iPhone 3G!!!! The battery signal shows up on phone and all but again, it does not charge! Hope I didn't damage my phone. :-/ Spend the extra bucks and save yourself from a headache and buy an adaptor at the Apple store.

I bought one of these adapters and it did have the green dot but it didnt work. I contacted the seller they were nice and sent out a new one without requesting the the other one back. The second one didnt work either so it sent them both back and recieved a full refund. - Power Adapter - Charger - Iphone - Ipod Charger'

Propane Adapter - propane adapter, bbs

I used the adapter about ten times to fill my gas airsoft revolver and first the gas was not going into the gun properly and second the tip on the adapter broke off and so now its garbage. i am very very disappointed in this adapter and would not recommend buying or using this propane adapter. Soft Air Firepower Propane Adapter for Green Gas Guns

I purchased this item to use with my green gas airsoft pistol. Upon receiving the item I was initially impressed with the appearance of quality. This quality appearance does not translate to actual quality. I began using it and within 10 fills of my magazine the tip of the nozzle broke off. I was completely shocked because I did not use any more pressure than was necessary. It is now completely unusable and I have no way of repairing the item. I am not impressed.

This adapter works well, with no leaks. Caution!! If you plan on shooting indoors with propane, be aware that sulfur is added to propane gas to make it STINK. Will make your house stink like rotten eggs!!!

Well this propane adapter is full steel and is great. No leaks and no breaking but be careful putting in the propane because the propane goes fast. But even though i love this propane adapter i do recommend using it only outdoors because the sulfur in the propane will make a weird gas smell. So i highly recommend this product because it save 90% of regular gas and propane is a lot cheaper. - Ammo - Propane Adapter - Gas - Bbs'

Latitude - dell battery, latitude battery

After trying to live with the original battery (which had a life of about 15 minutes), I'm so glad to have purchased a new battery. New Trent was a great supplier to purchase these aftermarket OEM batteries from. While most batteries get mixed reviews, most people don't realize how many factors effect how long your battery will remain charged. For example, when I first put in the new battery, I was lucky to get 2 hours of use before having to recharge. However, this is with wifi, bluetooth, and powering several external devices. By simply turning off my bluetooth radio on the D620, I can get about 3.5 hours of use before needing to recharge. If both bluetooth and wifi are turned off, it's over 4 hours. So charge will depend on how you use your laptop. I'll run some test to get specific times over the next few weeks. Hope this helps. New Trent New replacement Laptop Battery for Dell Latitude D631 D640 D630C D620 D630 D630N PP18L, Precision M2300 MJ456 fits TC030 PC764 JD634 312-0383 312-0386 312-0384 UD088 TD117 RD301 PD685 TD175 PC765 KD492 GD776 JD648 KD495 [Li-ion 9-cell 7200mAh Black]

I purchased this battery for an ageing Dell D630. Admittedly I've only had the battery for a few weeks, but it has been great. I took the laptop to a conference and was able to use the laptop with wi-fi between all of the sessions (that is, all day long; 2-3 hours) without ever even coming close to running out of power. I definitely recommend this battery over the stock Dell battery.

I purchased a Dell D620 second hand, and needed to replace the original battery as it was completely dead. After a few days of searching for a replacement Dell OEM battery, the prices were so high I was beginning to wonder if I would have been better off spending the extra money on a brand new laptop. I saw the New Trent 9-cell battery on Amazon for under $40, and I have to admit I wondered if it was too good to be true. Based on the previous 5-star reviews, I decided to give this battery a try. I have used this battery for about six weeks now, and I am very satisfied. It holds up for at least 5 hours under normal usage. I would recommend this battery for anyone who needs an affordable replacement.

I am very impressed with this new battery. I have had it for a month now and it is consistently giving me 5 hours of power! I have paid over $100 for a laptop battery that didn't give nearly the performance! Good job and Thanks!

We ordered 15 of these batteries to support our aging 620/630 laptops. Much cheaper than OEM and works great. Battery life is very good for such a low price. No failures or problems in almost two months of use so far. I may buy one for my home system as well. We would definitely purchase these again from Newtrent if we needed more.

Great battery, great price, great seller. I started my battery search with dell, they wanted 160$ for the 9cell replacement battery for the d620 d630, my search ended here. The battery arrived on time and nearly fully charged, and lasts nearly four hours with the screen set to the brightest setting and the speakers in use. The battery fit my D630 without any problem and is working like a charm, even as I write this review. The only possible issue with the battery was handled superbly by Newtrent in record time. The product description says that the battery and box should have the Newtrent logo on them and to email or call the seller if the logo is not present. There was a logo on the box, but no logo on the battery, I called and emailed Newtrent and received a follow-up email and a follow-up phone call both within one hour of my request. Awesome.

I purchased this battery pack back in November of 2010. I was apprehensive about buying it because it was not the original one that came from the manufacturer, I took a chance with it because it was very inexspensive and well if it didn't work I could purchase three or four of these for the price of the original Not a bad deal right. Well after receiving it and trying it over several months it has proven to be a great purchase. This battery has a very long battery life and it fits perfectly in the laptop. Truely a Great Product which I highly recommend.

Battery was just like the picture and has worked just fine. The previous battery was a regular life one that came with the laptop. The extended one is great because it has a few more hours of battery life. This makes it nice when traveling and plane trips. Definitely will go with extended life batteries in the future.

After 3 good years of use, my original Dell laptop battery finally died, and I knew it was time to replace it. When I found out how expensive Dell batteries are, though, I couldn't bear to pay so much for something I knew I would have to replace again. So I ended up buying a cheaper one from a random third-party seller on Amazon, and it was a big mistake. Sure, it only cost $30, but fully charged, it gave me only 2 and a half hours of battery life! So I sent it back and decided to try again, this time with this New Trent battery. I have to say, this battery lasts much longer, probably about 3 and a half hours, and it's around the same price. I'd prefer it to last 4 or 5 hours, like the actual Dell batteries, but for about $40, what more can you ask for? They're even being kind enough to send me another new battery to try, to compare with the original they sent me. Pretty cool, if you ask me. - Dell Battery - Latitude Battery - D630 - Laptop Batteries'

Replacement Parts

I bought this reconditioned, and I like both the saving, and the fact that someone looked over the tool. This winter I shot 10,000 plastic colated Hitachi nails through this gun without a single misfire. The company I worked with uses the Hitachi siding nailer, thats why the nailes were hitachi. And I bought a Bostitch nailer because it was both cheaper, and watching others with the Hitachi frustrated with jambing and misfires, helped me make my choice Bostitch N66C-1 1-1/4-inch to 2-1/2-inch Coil Siding Nailer with Magnesium Housing

I BOUGHT THIS PARTICULAR NAIL GUN FOR DOING CEDAR SHINGLE JOBS. ITS VERY LIGHT WEIGHT. VERY HELPFUL WHEN USING IT FOR 8 HRS A DAY FOR SEVERAL DAYS IN A ROW. I OWN OTHER BOSTITCH GUNS , NEVER HAVE ANY TROUBLE. PARTS ARE EASY TO GET IF NEEDED. NAILS FOR IT ARE AVILABLE ALMOST EVERYWHERE. PLUS ITS MADE IN U.S.A.

We use this gun for cedar siding, trim boards, and plywood sheeting for both roofs and sidewall sheeting. The gun is light, reliable, durable, and easy to repair if you do abuse it. We have replaced an aircap and a top seal (the gun took a nose dive off a 3 story victorian roof) That said we have enjoyed using it and would recommend it. Can't think of a down side so a 5 star buy. One note if your I would recommend the wire collated over the plastic collated ...we have had issues with the little plastic trails that hangs onto the nail and sticks out around the head. Wire seams to be cleaner.

I was a little disappointed with the firing of this gun. Like another user commented... the gun should be able to strictly single fire and STOP after a nail has been fired. I used this gun for cedar tongue and groove siding installation with premium 2" stainless steel coil nails. About 5-10% of the time the gun would fire 2 nails even when I tried my hardest to allow for a single fire. In addition, for me too, some of the wire from the nail coil would be driven into the wood. Not the worst thing because ultimately when done right with tongue and groove the nail would be covered up by the overlapping siding. But still somewhat concerning when spending close to $300 on a gun.

On the bright side, the gun is light and handles well. It seems to be build very solid. Overall I have been using my DeWalt 15 gage cordless finish nailer for over a year and that gun is awesome. This Bostitch is the first air powered gun I have purchased and I was hoping for the same predictability. Unfortunately you sometimes can't predict what's going to happen when you pull the trigger and I wish this wasn't the case.

Ok...ok...ok... I had to come back and edit my review. The Bostich N66C comes with 2 triggers. One is exactly for my issues listed above. It's stricktly a single shot trigger and will not allow the gun to fire twice. It is for more precise firing when speed and coverage is not the issue. As a result my review has gone from 3 to 4 stars. It's definitely a quality product.

I bought this gun to nail on fiber cement siding. I thought it was going to set all nails flush with the surface of the siding. Frankly, I couldn't see how this would be posible since the hardness of studs varies and some nails may hit knots. Also some will miss studs and just strike OSB. I installed the single shot trigger when I got it. Well when using it the nails all vary in in depth, some shoot part way through the siding and some don't go all the way in. I sometimes get doubles. What I had to do was set the pressure low enough so that most the nails shoot close to the surface of the siding and then finish them off with a hammer. Since it's my own house I don't mind the extra time as I think it makes for a tighter lap. It would be a different story if I were applying siding for a living. I own four other Bostich guns and I believe I could get just as good of results using a 2 1/2" nail in my stick framer. However, I believe the siding warranty is void if you use a clipped head nail. I used to own a Bostich coil framer and I'll bet one of those would do just as well as the N66. On the plus side the N66 is a lightweight, well made and easy to handle gun and doesn't require a large volume of air so your compressor doesn't run as much as with a larger gun. I gave it three stars because it was called a siding nailer but mine doesn't perform any differently than my other nailers. Maybe it's just mine but I have tried varying the air pressure and the depth adjustment and have never acheived any consistancy in depth control.

12/22/09 Gun is working like it should now. I'm sorry if I misled anyone, I should have read the directions. On one of the forums someone told me I needed more air pressure. I was afraid too much pressure might damage something and they are only 2" nails so I kept the pressure at about 80 psi. Well, after listening to advice on a forum and reading the manual I upped the pressure to 105 psi and adjusted the nail depth all the way up. To my suprise when I shot them they were all consistent in depth, about a 1/4" high. Then I adjusted the depth control down until they shot at the desired depth and now they are very consistent. I'm still getting an occasional double but considering considering price, warranty and everything else I believe it's a five star now.

A great gun - very light and easy to use. Had 2 misfires in over 1,000 nails on my first job with it. I was nailing 5/4 cedar into pressure treated doug fir timbers. Great timesaver and I'm anxious to try it on Hardi. FYI I used stainless steel nails from FastenerUSA - great quality/price.

Careful of the nose assembly, it will break/shear off if dropped just right.

This is my first review: I've decided that I need to contribute because I get so much from reading others. Thanks everyone!

I'm a professional carpenter and I bought the Bostitch n66c for most recent house that I'm building. After 20 square i've found that the gun is great. It has on;y miss fired a few times and usually because the coil is almost out. The air exhaust positioning is awsome, the balance great. The downside is that the gun is too light. i found that you have to push extra hard for the nails to seat at the depth that you have the gun adjusted for. My buddy has an older, heavier version of this gun by Bostitch and you really notice the differance. His gun feels like it'll last 10 years on a jobsite, drives the nails completly every shot and is also noticably quieter. I own 5 Bostitch nailers and I don't think that I'll ever buy another. The quality has declined severly over the years despite some good inovations on their products. My finish gun only lasted 3 years of moderate use and my roofing gun isn't even in the same league as my buddy's Max (which has never- really- double shot). If this gun was only $150 I'd expect the way it handled, but for $300, it needs to perform.'

Sauna The Pounds Off - it works, sauna suit

I have purchased other Sauna Suits in the past but like the name "Everlast" this one is by far the best quality. Others have been poorly put together at the seams (underarm, crotch) that they rip and tear. This one takes a liking and keeps on ticking. I needed to make weight for a competition and was over my weight by 15 lbs. I began my cardio routine with the sauna suit for about 4 days and when I weighted in, I had lost 15 lbs. Use caution when using the suit though, it is very stressful for your body to lose that much weight in such a short period of time. Everlast Deluxe EVA Sauna Suit (X-Large/XX-Large, Black)

I won't lie this sauna suit did work really well. Only problem is that it ripped on me after three times of using it. I would suggest, you get a least a whole size bigger . Ripped from armpit area. Still get a nother one , just bigger size.

Its very bulky. The plastic is quite uncomfortable but I believe all of the sauna suits are. Yet, this plastic is thicker than other sauna suits and I just can't keep it on as long as the other ones. I will go back to my old sauna suit that has much softer plastic. Overall it does the job. The amount of water dripping from your limbs is insane when you put this on and get on the elliptical. The plastic is just too uncomfortable and too stiff to wear everytime I get on my elliptical.

It didn't rip and the fit was ok. I can't imagine this plastic ripping unless the person is like doing acrobats...or they purchased the wrong size.

While this product provided the anticipated result--sweat--it tore on the very first 30 minute exercise routine (walking on a treadmill). That does not, in my opinion, demonstrate a quality product. Roller Ball Pen - pen, gel pen

As a teacher, I use tons of pens and go through many each year. This is my all-time favorite. The pen is comfortable to hold, thanks to the rubberized grip area. It writes without pushing or effort, although I can push hard if I am writing on a carbon copy. The ink is dark. I have had no problems with the pens breaking, although maybe I use them up more quickly than others, so they don't get old enough to break. I not only recommend these, but give them as gifts to other teachers. uni-ball Signo Gel 207 Retractable Roller Ball Pen, Medium Point, Translucent Barrel, Black Ink, 12-Pack (33950)

After writing for years with Pilot's G-2 pens, I thought I'd never fall in love with a plastic pen again. That was until I met the Uni-Ball Signo 207. Now when faced with the task of picking a G-2 or a 207 from my desk drawer, I hesitate. Like the G-2, it's refillable, reducing waste. The Signo 207 has smooth flowing ink that seems to last forever, a sharp fine point making the writing look elegant and as far as looks, it appears much more classy and expensive than the G-2 when it comes to plastic pens.

These are okay in a pinch, but not my favorite rollerball pen. I am a rollerball fanatic, always looking for the perfect black one. Sometimes you get a pen out of the pack with these that writes perfectly. Other times, you get a scratchy one that barely writes. For the price, it's not worth it. I spend more and get Sharpie brand fine point pens, which write well, last a LONG time and have very dark ink (as I prefer). They're not "perfect", but are better than this.

These pens write okay...most of the time. The trouble is that they tend to 'skip'-- they randomly quit writing. Usually, a quick scratch on a scrap of paper (or even a fingertip) will get the pen writing again. For what I do with them, they're OK. If I were working on something where I needed to have a pen that consistently wrote 100% of the time, I would try another pen.

These pens are great to have, a little pricey, but they smear and that's what makes it not a good pen to have with you unless you are writing things down and are not going to touch the paper you just wrote on for awhile.

Being stuck doing office paperwork for a good majority of my day, I need a pen that's comfortable. Since using these, I haven't ordered anything else. They last quite a while, and more importantly they are comfortable to use. These are excellent pens, great for taking notes in class or at work and perfect if you have small handwriting. Sure these are more expensive than some others, but it's well worth the price. Why not spend an extra dollar or two when it makes such a big difference?

If it wasn't clear from the above, I would HIGHLY recommend these pens.

I am picky about my writing utensils. When I find one l like, I am thrilled.

I love the way this one glides effortlessly across the page leaving a dark letters and numbers in its wake without having to apply a lot of pressure.

The rubbery plastic grip is textured for just the write grip.

I was skeptical because the price is fantastic at less that a dollar a pen, but this has become my pen of choice for sure!

The Uni-ball Signo Gel 207 retractable roller ball pens are the best medium priced ink pens I have ever used. I keep boxes of them in my desk and my co-workers ask for them as needed. That way they don't just disappear as the cheap pens do that I leave out for anyone to use. Our accountant really likes the red and blue ones, too.

This has become my favorite pen in the office and I've ordered boxes of the same pen in blue, black, and red ink. The pen is a little thick so if you have average to larger size hands it really fits nicely in your hand. The grip is soft and comfortable without being too crazy looking or sponge like. Most importantly these pens just write so smoothly and crisply. There is never any gaps like you see with those cheap gel pens and the point is thin/fine enough for people like me who tend to write as small as possible to fit more on a page.

The only problem with this pen is that it writes so well that people might end up stealing it or "purposely not returning it" when you leave it at their desk! - Uniball - Retractable - Gel Pen - Pen'

Psychological Thriller - movie, penelope cruz

As you can see from the customer reviews bouncing between loving and hating this movie, it is not for everyone.

The first time I saw this movie in the theater I was unable to move when it was over. I was utterly stunned. I can count on one hand the times this has happened to me over a lifetime of movie viewing.

Tom Cruise plays David Aames, a rich young man who has inherited a publishing empire from his late father. Cameron Diaz is the girlfriend he really doesn't care about, and Jason Lee plays his best (and perhaps only) friend. Aames is utterly disconnected from his own life, and seems to care little about anything. One night his friend (Lee) brings an intriguing dancer (Penelope Cruz) to his birthday party. Cruise takes up with Cruz, but then experiences a waking nightmare that destroys his life. I can't reveal more of the plot without giving it away, and I suggest you NOT read any more reviews of this film and just see it--otherwise you'll deprive yourself of one incredible movie ride.

This movie is visually spectacular. There are scenes that set off the dive klaxon deep within my brain but I couldn't figure out why until much later in the film when the plot is revealed. What is this film? Science fiction? Yes, but... A psychological thriller? Yes, but... A love story? Yes, ultimately.

It's better not to categorize Vanilla Sky, and just enjoy (or not enjoy) it. I think this movie either works on you, or it doesn't. And this is probably the most polarizing movie I have ever seen. You'll either love it or hate it.

Jason Lee and Cameron Diaz give the performances of their careers. I would have said the same of Cruise, but then he uncorked Collateral. Kurt Russell has a relatively small part as Cruise's psychologist, but he nails it perfectly.

Vanilla Sky is based on Spanish filmmaker Alejandro Amenábar's Abre Los Ojos (Open Your Eyes). I liked Vanilla Sky a lot more than Abre Los Ojos, unlike most American remakes of foreign films, because it contains additional scenes and more spectacular visuals. However, an English-only speaker like me can't really make a fair comparision because there are so many subtitles to watch in Abre Los Ojos it makes it hard to watch the actors. Penelope Cruz plays the same role in both films.

The real value of this film is that it makes you think about what (and more importantly, who) is at the core of your own life, and how will you feel about how you have lived when the clock runs out?

Vanilla Sky is a rare movie--unique in plot, and made with passion and care. I can't guarantee you'll like it, but there is no other movie more worth taking a chance on. Vanilla Sky

hmm...I wonder what makes all these people say that Vanilla Sky was a horrible movie? Perhaps it's the fact that they did not or could not understand the film. I own Vanilla Sky and Abre Los Ojos (Open Your Eyes) and i must say that Vanilla Sky lived up to, and went beyond all expectations. If you've seen Abre, then I would highly recommend seeing Vanilla Sky. The acting in Abre was great, but the cinematography of Vanilla was even better. Intriguing film that will have you scratching your head until the very end. A definite MUST SEE!

This is not coming from a random person without knowledge of the movie industry. I am a huge movie fan. I see nearly 50 movies a year in theaters, most likely more. I own nearly 1000 DVDs. With all of these movies I've seen and own, Vanilla Sky is my favorite. It contains anything any moviegoer would want-suspense, romance, action, comedy, and science fiction. Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz have excellent chemistry. The story rapidly changes from a love story to a science fiction drama. It confuses and entertains the viewer. It make syou think and that is always admirable. Overall, I LOVE IT!

This movie is one of the most brilliant movie's ever made. When I first viewed this movie I was in Gr 11 highschool and going down the wrong path in life. This movie hammered in the moral of the story harder than any story I have ever heard. It colourfully illustrates the fact that people make choices in life that have consequences. In this case, mr cruise gets in the car with cameron's character. This choice caused him great consequences. I really related to this movie and it hit me so hard that I cried myself to sleep that night after watching it. But it was so great, it felt as though I had an epiphony. Cheesy as that may sound, its like a door in my mind had just been blown open and I knew exactly how I wanted to live my life. How I treated people, the choices I would make...it all made sense. And for that, this is my favorite movie of all time. It saved me.

This is a great movie. I don't see how people could not like this movie and all of the questions it leads you to ponder about the nature of reality and life and death and love and treating people with respect instead of this using them for your own ends. And Cameron Crowe brings just enough spaciness to the film to make you feel like the Tom Cruise character and feel like you're lost in his dream life that's slowly starting to turn into a nightmare. It is a great movie that will entertain you and make you think. I've seen this and the original, and as good as the original is I have to say that this is a superior movie as far as my tastes go. The original is more of a thriller in tone despite just about the same plot and dialogue, while Vanilla Sky wants to move beyond the original's stab at philosopy and really make you think about the nature of reality. And to top it off is Crowe's ususal brilliant use of music throughout the film that really helps to nail scenes and give them much more of an impact.

I have watched Vanilla Sky three times now, and every time it has left me powerfully affected. It deals with many topics that interest me, particularly the study of dreams vs. reality, and the nature of relationships, and love. There is much that is very good about it, however it contains one major flaw that prevents it from being truly great. The acting, is overall top notch. Jason Lee turns in yet again another stellar supporting role; he radiates charisma in this performance, and fits the role given perfectly. Cameron Diaz is a fine choice for Julianna, she brings an almost maniacal sense of urgency to her character that was both disturbing and complusively watchable; she simply looks amazing on film. Tom Cruise performs more than adaquetly as well, and perhaps the greatest kudos must be given to Penelope Cruz, who simply lights up the screen here. Her charisma is unmistakable, and she infuses this film with life and vibrancy. This is a film with many powerful images, be it the gorgeous vanilla skies that soar over New York within the dream, or the (SPOILER) unforgettable image of Cruise's David Aames waving farewell to his disfigured reflection in the mirror. It entices in the first viewing, draws you in irresistably, and apon further viewings still moves with great pacing, and many subtle clues and hints can be found that help the viewer understand the nature of David Aame's reality. My only real complaint is that Cameron Crowe for some inexplicable reason (though it certainly must have been because of confused test audiencies, those who this film is not intended for anyway) chose to come out at the end of the film and blatantly reveal all of the films secrets and twists; he talks to the viewer as if we were 5 years old and need him to hold our hand. This film could have been very similar in nature to, and even rivaled Lynch's masterpiece Mulholland Drive had Crowe not chosen to do so, and it is very disappointing that he did in fact choose to do so. But this aside, the film is very compelling and often powerful. I still love the questions it raises concerning love (if his love with Sofia wasnt "real", than does it still have meaning?), and the image of "I will find you in another life, when we are both cats" that so powerfully emphasizes the power that love can have, and the joy and awe surrounding that human emotion. For a similar image look in the closing chapters of the novel The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman. But i digress. This film is solid, even coming from hollywood, and with big name stars attached. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is willing to be challenged slightly by the film they watch, and those who love to be moved.Highly Recommended - Movie - Penelope Cruz - Science Fiction - Thriller'

Tilting Wall Mount - lcd wall mount, tilting wall mount

Mounted our new 65" plasma weighing about 105 pounds according to mfg. I realize it is a couple inches larger than specs say, but this tv is also below weight, so you decide.

Biggest problem was with the bracket that mounts to the wall. It is only about 18" wide. The issue is when it comes to centering on the wall. On our wall, in order to mount this bracket on two studs, the bracket has to be about 4" off center. Since I have such a wide tv, that means that the VESA mount is at the limit on the bracket, and thus you do not have any room to move the tv from side to side on the mount. Further, if the tv is off center on this bracket, it tends to make the tv a bit off balance. Again, the tv we are using is much below the recommended weight, so seems like that shouldn't happen.

I ended up mounting a 3/4 inch plywood board to wall, covering 3 studs, and then mounting this bracket to that board. The tv hides the board, so not really an issue, and it is painted to match the wall.

On the plus side the bracket is great for getting behind the tv, or changing the angle. Seems very sturdy, and indeed held me up ( about 180lbs) when I was testing it.

Out of the box, the bracket is very tough to move, but once the tv is up, the weight of the tv seems to make it move more easily. I went a further and oiled the hinge areas. This greatly freed up the movement, but almost too much, as just touching the tv will allow it to move now. So you might want to avoid doing that.

Lastly, as other reviewers have stated, go to your local hardward store and buy better lag bolts. The bolts they provide to mount the tv seem fine and I used those with no issues. But the lag bolts they provide just look scary cheap and it is easy to believe those that say they twisted the heads off. I tossed mine and upgraded to some nice thick 5/16 inch variety. I sleep with no concerns about them breaking. VideoSecu TV Wall Mount for Most 32"- 55" LCD LED Plasma Articulating TV mount, Full Motion Dual Arm Bracket with free HDMI cable MW360B 1SR

I think this is a good bargain. Hold my 40" Proscan LCD nicely (40 something pound).

It is not super heavy duty but strong enough for new larger LCD TVs

(you might want a heavy duty hanger for larger heavy plasma TVs)

1. You fist assemble the vertical bars then secure it to the wall.

2, You then attach the back plate and TV holding bar to your TV

(it even comes with spacer and many many screws for different type of VESA standard mount, nice!)

3. You then hang your TV to the mount (using the hooks on the top of the TV plate)

4. Slide your TV left or right to position you want

5. Adjust the tile angle with the built-in screw with handle (nice feature)

6. Screw down the 2 secure screws at the bottom of the mount so the TV will not accidentally pop-out.

7. Enjoy your TV.

This is really a good deal (Thirty something with shipping, very good deal).

BTW, the bubble level come in the mount is not mount properly. Use a good leveler instead.

This mount looks very much like the CheetaMount but cheaper.

VideoSecu LCD Flat Panel Screen Plasma 32"- 55" TV Monitor Tilt VESA 660x400 Wall Mount MF606B 1QH

This LCD TV mount is everything you can expect from a high quality product. It is made from heavy gauge steel with a good finish. All hardware is included to mount to any TV specified which I used on a 32" Vizio LCD TV. WarehouseSeller is an excellent seller that sells quality products at a very good price, and very fast shipping. I took a chance on buying this TV mount, and I am very satisfied with my purchase, since a similiar TV mount would have costed me $75.00 elsewhere. I highly recommend buying this TV mount from WarehouseSeller.

I bought this wall mount for my 58" plasma that weighs in at 160 pounds. The installation is quick and easy, and this thing will hold some weight!

In order to set/adjust the tilt you will need to read the other reviews. They mention ways of sticking screws in the slot to stop the TV from dipping too far down. This is an easy fix. The only difference between the $$300 mount at the store and this one is you will need to do this for heavier TVs.

Save your money... Buy this.

This TV Mount is a very good deal, not just for the money. No reason to spend more money on a supposed "better" mount. The one just like it at Walmart is 299 dollars - what a ripoff. The quality of the steel is good and it holds my 42" LG to the wall well. I like the tilt and swivel functions so I can watch TV anywhere in my apartment.

Mounting the TV to the wall can be done with one person without too much hassle but 2 people would be ideal. I did it by myself to get it done. I used 3.5" drywall screws straight into the studs (X4). then the other 2 pieces mounted to the back of my TV easily and I had my TV hung on the wall in 20 minutes or less.

The mount is very solid and does not sag at all. It has built in cable management and looks great once it's installed.

There are a ton of screws to use for whatever TV you have so it comes with everything. I didn't think that the included screws were good enough for mounting to the wall so that's why I used my own (longer) screws to pierce the studs and mount the base to the wall.

This was my first wall mount purchased for my 46" Sharp LCD that weighed in at 80 lbs. After searching the internet including all of Amazon I settled on this unit due to it being the cheapest I could find while still having a solid track record of loyal buyers. If I had to do it all over again I would buy this unit again. I installed it in less than 30 min by myself aside from the actual hanging of the TV. Very easy to install along with a variety of screws, washers, and other accessories. I would highly recommend purchasing this unit as it works as advertised and I have no fears of waking up in the middle of the night after hearing my TV crashing onto the floor. - Lcd Wall Mount - Tv Wall Mounts - Tilting Wall Mount - Wall Mount'

Replacement Parts - battery, black decker battery

I bought this charger because the original one quit. It works fine. I was just glad that I was able to find one instead of buying a whole new driver. Be aware of the "bad battery" warning. My instructions read that if your battery has a measured voltage of more than 0.6 volts less than the published voltage of the battery (in my case a 14.4 volt battery should have no less than 13.8 volts when measured with a meter), you should get rid of the battery. This may have been what caused the first charger to die (my original battery was at 5.8 volts). Black and Decker 14.4 Volt Battery Charger 5101181-02

My set of 14.4v Firestorm rechargeable-battery equipment consists of a drill, a circular saw, a reciprocating saw, and two flashlights, so charged batteries are rather a must. The original B&D charger went belly up one day, so after checking with the local hardware stores and hitting a brick wall, I checked with Amazon and there it was. When the replacement charger arrived, there was an enclosed instruction sheet addressing the recharging of old batteries, very appropriate for equipment that may be several years old. Two of my three batteries were in working condition, the third being dead. The charger performed perfectly. Note that there are either two modes, it works or it doesn't work. I took the dead battery to a "Batteries Plus" store, where for a fee somewhat above what a new battery would have cost, they replaced the dead cells with more robust models of same, resulting in a battery with 150% of the power of the OEM item. Re the flashlights, the original bulbs were replaced by a 1w LED unit, just as bright as the original bulb. I asked the fellow at the battery place what procedure to follow re charging the batteries, especially ones that are not used every day. Result: give each battery a several-hour charge once a month.

I got this charger to replace an identical one that stopped working. There's a light on the cover, but when I attached the battery to it and plugged in the unit it gave no evidence of working . . . until the battery was fully charged a few hours later. Only then did the diode light show. But if the battery is a dud, the charger light will never come on. Then too, if the charger fails and the battery is good, the light will never come on. This is a confusing operation, hence the low score for this item. Other reviewers have commented on the short life span of this charger. Sadly, Black & Decker is not what it used to be.

My charger died for my drill, I looked it up on Amazon it was exactly what I needed and Amazon had the best price. It arrived quickly and I was able to charge my drill and move forward with my project without running around to different stores.

The item works as it should but the wall wart is considerably smaller and lighter than the OEM product. Since that is what failed on the original unit, I don't know how long this one will last. Also this unit takes noticeably longer to charge than the original. Better for the batteries but if you are in a project then this could be a problem. - Battery - Black And Decker - Chargers - Black Decker Battery'
