Exercise Stretch Bands - resistance bands, exercise stretch bands

I bought this set of bands to replace the puny resistance band included with the EA Sports Active. After trying each band in this set at shoulder level and fully stretched over the head, the difference between the light and the other bands was significant, but the difference between medium and heavy, however, was indistinguishable.

I did some testing lifting free-weights with the bands and found each band maxed out at 15, 22, and 25 pounds for light, medium, and heavy respectively. The problem is that stretched to waste and shoulder height, the medium and heavy bands are almost identical in resistance at 12 pounds at waste and 17 pounds at shoulder height. In order to have a true heavy band, I'll have to combine the light and the heavy for a 40 pound band.

Pros:

- thick material

- 5 feet in length and will stretch 3 times as long

- can provide a wide range of resistance from 7 to over 40 pounds with some creative thinking

- much cheaper than free-weights

Cons:

- medium and heavy bands are also identical

- requires using multiple bands for significant resistance Aylio Fitness 3 Exercise Bands and Door Anchor (Low, Medium, Heavy)

These bands suffer from limited functionality. They are both too short and too thick.

They are very short: five feet long. This is an issue if you are trying to use them for pilates, stretching, or other related uses. I find them unsuited to such things as wrapping them around the back of my shoulders, or looping them under my foot, etc. They should be at least another two feet long.

The other major issue is that they are very thick. The thinnest is about 15 mil. This is far too much resistance for the lightest gauge band.

I have a different band which I got with a pilates video. It's 10 mil thick. It's closer to what I would consider a light-weight band, though I would prefer something even thinner, perhaps 8 mil. The biggest issue with bands that are too thick is that unless they are sufficiently long, you can't adjust for an appropriately low level of resistance by increasing the slack. This is a basic concept that anyone who has used resistance bands will understand.

If you are looking to use bands purely as a substitute for free weights, these bands would probably work. However, the length is still going to be an issue.

Got these to use to replace the flimsy band that comes with Wii active, they work soooo much better. the only issue that I"ve had with them so far is that they loosen easily and will snap loose if you don't tighten them regularly, but the quality of the bands are wonderful.

These are excellent exercise bands. I can definitely feel the difference in the different levels of resistance. It would be nice if the levels of resistance were marked on the bands themselves or if the packaging had included an insert letting me know the level of each color. I was able to look it up on Amazon, but I think it would be best if printed on the bands. All in all, I think these were a great deal.

For several months I had found and used a neck exercise machine at my gym that worked miracles for curing cricks and strains in my neck at night - strengthening the neck muscles totally cured night neck problems. When the machine was removed I was determined to find a replacement. I had never used exercise bands but realized they should be perfect for 4 direction neck work outs. I gained proficiency with them rapidly on my own and use them to maintain my neck muscles. They seem to be the prefect inexpensive solution and I like the gradual and variable resistance they provide - especially for holding the effort against the bands. A perfect, inexpensive, east to use solution for me.

The bands arrived quickly and seem very high quality. My daughter uses them for physical therapy exercises she is doing at home while recovering from a dislocated shoulder. She says they are just like the ones she uses at the physical therapists office. - Resistance Band - Exercise Stretch Bands - Resistance Bands - Fitness'

Iphone Screen Protector - iphone screen protector, accessories

Before i bought the case, it said the bumper is made by apple. And the picture also shows that its made by Apple. But after I opened the package, and I found out its a fake one. the quality is so bad.... I'm very very disappointed. I want my money back! Apple iPhone 4 Bumper - Case for cellular phone - plastic - white - Apple iPhone 4

I cant believe people like this try to take advantage of already overpriced crap. Go to your nearest apple store bc they are only $29 there- don't pander to these a**holes. I will never buy from this company and hopefully others will follow suit- price gouging on Amazon is pretty low.

PS: this item works ok- has helped with the drop call issue, but slips off constantly when u try to slip it in your pocket. My suggestion is to get an invisi-shield wrap around it- that way your iphone isn't as slick and the bumper stays on a bit better.

It is a good case and fit the white Verizon iPhone4. However, the white case pick up very visible dirt. It does not complement the look of the white iPhone at all. Given that it is an Apple product, I was very disappointed by the overall look.

Bought this for my White Verizon Iphone. Main issues were -

1. The vibrate on/off slider on the side did not line up correctly. Not sure if this is the case with all iPhones, all Verizon iPhones or just the white one.

2. It got pretty dirty after a few days. The black from my pockets rubbed off on it.

3. Some of my headphones connectors won't get all the way in with the bumper on.

It was pretty cheap so not a huge loss but I'm definitely going to buy another one.

Despite the cheap price and the title to make you believe this is apple's iphone 4 bumper, this product is a knock off and a really bad one at it. The color of this bumper started to turn yellow the very next day. Save your self the $4.

I bought this white bumper just because I just bought 'white' iPhone 4 on the day of release. If you want to preserve the beauty of the white iPhone 4 with minimal but adequate protection, this is the product for you. I did not want a bulky protective case or something to cover up the entire phone. My iPhone 4 is covered with a protective and scratch proof film and this bumper protects a direct contact of the iPhone body with the surfaces such as desk, table and etc.

There is only one problem. When the phone is used with this bumper, the non-Apple charge cable does not fit all the way. It has to be used with a genuine Apple charge cable. Apple does not offer a car charger so I used a car charger cable for 3G from other company and found it did not fit with iPhone 4 with this bumper. Eventually I had to buy a cigar socket adapter with USB port on so that I can use Apple charge cable, which is the only fit when the bumper is used.

I recommend this bumper only when the good design of iPhone 4 needs to be maintained.

I got this bumper to cover the edges of my iPhone that my white carbon fiber skin didn't cover. For less than $7, it does what I need it to do.

It stretches fine over my phone. The color is ok. I have never had another bumper, so I can't say if the quality is better or worse than others, but it works for me. It isn't flimsy.

My only complaint is that I can't use my docking station or any other charger besides Apple's original one with this on, but that, I hear, is typical of bumpers.

I am happy overall with my purchase. - Iphone 4 - Iphone Screen Protector - Accessories - Case'

Waste Of Money - ipod touch 4th generation case, junk

I thought this would be okay for my new G4 8 gig....boy was I wrong. It is not worth the shipping cost. I suppose I am to harsh. If you are planning to put this skin on and leave it in your drawer it would work just fine. However, if you want to take your touch with you, get something else. I took it golfing and the skin didn't even stay on in my pocket. If fits too loose to provide any real protection. All in all, it was very annoying and I am going to see if they will take it back. KEEP SHOPPING! 4G Touch Twin Pack Black & Clear Silicone Protective Armour Case Cover + Screen Protector Kit for New Apple iPod Touch 4th Generation - 8GB 32GB 64GB

I bought this as there wasnt much selection for the new 4G touch. The first one fell off all the time wneh you put it in your pocket and the bottom piece broke. Also it comes with a free screen protector but the first one only had one side to pull off and was defective. Easyi said they would send me a new one and refund my money if I removed my first review(which i did to give them another chance).

The replacement came and it is the same thing and will not stay on the 64 GB ipod touch. The second screen protector actually went on the touch but the holes dont line up and so it looks a little off. I know that they should but it wouldnt cover the screen properly if I lined them up correctly. They did try to help me out with the replacement and the refund but I am still not happy with the end result. I guess you get what you pay for but I will wait for something better.

I bought the clear version of this (which isn't available anymore). I put it on my new touch 4G today and walked to work. When I reached for the touch, the case was mostly off. All day today, every time I pulled the touch out of my pocket, I found the case had partially slipped off.

It doesn't seem to be a case specifically designed for the 4G touch. It rather seems like a case for the thicker 3G... the opening at the top rear seems designed to fit around that unit's wi-fi antenna. Yes, the 4G's camera and mic are where the 3G's wi-fi was, so it should work out... except that the 4G is too thin for a proper fit.

I can't believe people complain such a good product compare to the price. It comes with 2 sets of Cases and Screen protectors. The case is very soft and fits perfectly to my Ipod Touch 4, it protects the device very well, and to keeps you off the scratches from the Hard case. (the hard cases normally scratch your device easily)

The screen protector also fit nicely. However you'll notice some scratches on the surface of the protector after several days usage. What a big deal for it, it did its job to protect your device, and the minor scratches will be disappeared when you turned on your device. Don't worry about it, for such the low price, I wouldn't say anything against it. Don't spend $15 or even more on the screen protector. You won't regret to buy this combo deal.

I've only had my iPod Touch for about 2 months now, and got the black silicone protector for it, figuring it'd be all I'd need. I usually have my iPod in my back pocket, so it's safe most of the time, and isn't in much danger of falling or anything. This case did a pretty good job at first- it's comfortable, fits around the iPod perfectly, and you can access the volume and power buttons easily. The hole on the back for the camera's also the right size. That's all that really matters, right?

Cut to a few weeks ago when I noticed a couple of small tears in the casing. I never pulled at the case when taking it off, at least not in the areas the rips showed up in, and the sides of the case are suddenly loose and the iPod pops out of it every other time I take it out of my pocket. This thing's also a magnet for dust, and gets dirty easily.

For the price, it does a good job for short-term protection, but I'd only get this if you need a quick replacement case and somehow can't get a better one right then and there.

The screen protector also isn't as good as some of the others, and can be a pain to get on without any air bubbles, but when you finally get it on, it does a very good job of keeping scratches from ruining the screen. It just starts to peel at the corners a little bit over time, but with a proper case over it, this isn't a big deal.

I just got the package today, which is a day earlier than what amazon notified me, which is a plus. The screen protector isn't all that bad, if you clean the screen carefully before you put the protector on. When putting on the protector, you should be careful but quick because if the side of the protector that contacts with itouch screen catches dust or anything, it is almost impossible to remove it, which means you need to use a second screen protector. Watch out for air pockets when you putting the protector.'If you do mess up for the first time like me, it is not a problem. The package comes with 3 protectors). I suggest buyers lay the protector starting on the home button side because it is easier that way to put it right in the middle of the touch. Keep in mind that the protector will leave a gap that is about a hair thick, but that shouldn't be a problem because you have a case. Talking about the case, the black one, to be honest, sucks like help. It has a weird trashy smell, is kinda slippery, and has a huge hole on the bottom for ear phone and etc. that is so insecure. It can't really hold the touch in place. However, the white one is a lot better. It fits pretty well, has a smaller bottom, and doesn't slip off my hand like the black one does.

Overall, I don't think this is a bad purchase and don't regret buying it. I got what I wanted, and I hope this review helps. - Trash - Waste Of Money - Ipod Touch 4th Generation Case - Junk'

Wireless Mouse - mouse, wireless mouse

Pros:

* Connects quickly and flawlessly with my Macbook laptop via the bluetooth connection.

* No USB connectors tying up precious slots.

* Good ergonomics. Some have claimed that the mouse is too small. I'm a fairly average sized adult man & have no problems.

* Seems to be solidly constructed with good quality.

* Love the right and left clicks and the fact that the scroll wheel can also "rock" left & right for additional programmed actions.

* Uses standard AA batteries.

* Comes with a nice travel pouch (mouse house) to store it in when not in use or on the road.

Cons:

* As others have said the mouse goes into power saving (green) mode way too quickly. When you move it after just a few (~ 9) seconds of being idle it has to wake up before it reacts. I haven't found it too annoying, but it is noticeable.

* The scroll wheel moves the window way too slowly. And yes, I did adjust the scroll speed to the maximum rate under Preferences and yes I did load and update the drivers to the most recent version. Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (White)

I've owned this mouse now for several weeks. Not long enough to comment on battery life, so far, but I can say that for a mouse its performance is decent. This is, by definition, a portable mouse so it's somewhat small. I have large hands and I was worried that this would be an issue, but it turns out that it's not too bad at all.

With that being said, I'm not certain whether all bluetooth mice seem to be jumpy, or if I've just been having lousy luck. After leaving the mouse still for about 10 seconds (or any amount of time longer) when you first move it it'll jump a bit. You'll have to do that "Ok, where's the cursor" thing for a second or two, but then you find it and it works fairly well. It does not perform well at all with the native Mac mouse driver, but once you install the Logitech software and play with the settings a bit, it tracks and scrolls much better and with an accuracy as good or better than any other bluetooth mouse I've used. I try to avoid installing unnecessary software but the Logitech Control Center makes a big difference here.

As for physical design, Logitech did a great job. It feels solid and well-built. The buttons and scroll wheel button give a nice satisfying click, with just the right amount of resistance. Of course, all the buttons are programmable. I honestly feel like I could throw it across the room and it'd come back for more - which is good since as a portable device it's intended to travel. Like I said before: the mouse is a bit small, but it's got a nice steep curve to it so it's easy to grip and I don't get cramps in my hand from trying to use it. You can tell that they definitely paid attention to ergonomics while trying to maintain portability.

Despite being all plastic, the silvery colored parts are intended to match the anodized aluminum of modern macs and their keyboards. This mouse matches my aluminum wireless keyboard perfectly. Plus, despite what the product pics show, the little light on top lights up blue - not green - to indicate a successful pairing or connection.

The only difference between this mouse and it's PC cousin is the color of the plastic, and this mouse works just fine on Windows.

This mouse may not be perfect, but I believe it's flaws are more from Bluetooth than from this mouse. I'm glad I bought it, and I'd do so again.

Typical Logitech quality. Includes all the expected configuration options for the buttons and wheel. Initially attempted to use the mouse as a plug-and-play on a MacPro, but repeatedly kept losing the Bluetooth link-up. Once the drivers were installed, it worked flawlessly. Nitpick: Prefer smooth-scrolling wheels, which this mouse does not have.

Used with a wireless mac key board and mac mini. Pros: Small footprint, pretty, has a mac-like look. Cons: Tracking is a pain, it takes a few seconds to activate when the computer wakes from sleep. The tracking for me is the major issue, even after adjusting the mouse settings it still moves either too fast and overshoots the target, or it moves too slowly. After you get used to it though it's not so bad. I'd keep looking to see if there's something better.

Make sure you download and install the latest Logitech software for this mouse (for OS X) from the Logitech website. If you don't the mouse cursor speed and feel is awful and skittery no matter how you set it in the system preferences. When you install the Logitech software you get fine control over the mouse sensitivity and scroll speed and can dial in the feel of the mouse to your exact taste.

The only reason I don't give it five stars is because the Logitech software is not very intuitive, leading to some confusion as to how to tweak the cursor and scroll speed. Not a disaster of an interface, but not well thought out either. - Wireless Mouse - Mouse - Apple - Mac'

Pc To Tv Cable - pc to tv cable, pc to tv

This cable was what I needed to hook up my laptop to my big screen DLP HDTV. It has VGA males at both ends and also a stereo mini headphone plug, just the type that plugs into the headphone jack of my laptop and input of my TV. RiteAV - VGA Cable with 3.5mm Audio - 25 Ft.

I looked all over for cables to connect my PC to my television, but could only find either cables without the sound connection or cables that cost twice as much or more than these for a much shorter run.

I have friends that have had the same experience so I turned them on to these.

So, I would definitely recommend them. They do exactly what they are supposed to do at a great price.

The clarity is just what you'd expect, great. Of our four computers, none does true HD, so having a SVGA is just fine, though I'd be willing to make a fair sized wager that having a SVGA cable has no impact on HD output. One of my computers (with a nvidia card) correctly identified the TV and the TV's native resolution and outputed accordingly.

If you're comparing this to a HDMI cable, the only two issues with the cable have to do with the equipment capabilities on either end. Mainly, the computer I use with the TV doesn't have the correct resolution where a HDMI cable is going to output the correct 1080. Secondly, the TV will only take a stereo input with the PC input thus won't pass surround sound from the TV to the receiver. (this is a big issue, if directly connected from PC to receiver all of the sound will be off by the time it takes the TV to properly render the video image. Drives me nuts.)

Pros:

Not HDMI.

Ridiculously cost effective.

Every 'not mac' I've seen has a SVGA out.

Cons:

None with the cable.

I bought this to hook my HDTV up to a computer across the room to be able to stream internet source video to the TV. The picture quality is HD with my video card. I use the built in speakers on my tv, so the audio is just fine for my needs. It would be nice if the audio had a pass through jack on one end of the cable, but for the price, I can't complain.

I got this with high hopes of simplifying an installation to a large screen TV used for presentations with a built-in sound system. It worked great for video, but I had to use a seperate audio cable. While the audio cable was dandy in theory, there was cross-talk from the video and the audio quality was quite poor. When I used a seperate cable, much much better audio quality, but now two cables to keep track of. Sigh.

I've used another 10ft cable (with ferrite beads to prevent interference) to send video from my Lenovo to my Sony Bravia. I got this one because I needed a much longer cable. Used for about a month so far I rate it as follows:

The screws don't seem to catch as easily as previous cables I've owned so it is annoying if you are constantly hooking and unhooking.

Video quality seems just as good as other cables I've used. This is what really matters to me, so I continue to use the cable despite a few odd quirks.

Audio quality is noticeably noisier than my previous cable but tolerable. I'm not sure if that is because this cable does not have the anti-interference ferrite beads or what.

One very interesting thing about the audio is that if I am streaming from a website like [...] and the video player is not full screen it makes a lot of noise but once I full screen the video player it does not. I don't remember this happening with my old cable.

Purchase the VGA & Audio cable separately. I purchased this and it has horrible buzzing crossover from the VGA to the audio cable. I'm now having to purchase the audio cable to keep it away from the VGA cable interference. You may as well just get one of each from the start. The VGA cable works OK on its own, but you won't like the audio at all! - Pc To Tv - Pc To Tv Cable - Vga Cable - Computer Cables'

The Tingler - the tingler, gift idea

I bought this to use on my autistic 4-year old who is constantly seeking a lot of sensory activities. Actually, his behavioral therapist recommended it as she had one herself. I tried hers and had to buy it!

This is a great sensory product. The problem for me however is I'm not able to use it on my 4 year old because he has problems tolerating things on his head but my older son loves it and it's a great little stress buster for me. I don't work but if I did, I would definitely bring it to the office. I'm pretty sure if I did, I'd have a line of people waiting to try it.

I was given this as a gift and I was glad because I've always wanted one. I've had it for about 4 months now.

Pros:

It does feel good. It's fun using it on friends or family members. I like to use the handle as a massager on my neck/shoulder area which surprisingly has worked good. It doesn't break easily. It's super easy to hold.

Cons:

After using it awhile, my head begins to throb (sometimes is sore the next day). It's extremely annoying to try and find a good place to store it. It needs a string or something to hang it up with. My hair gets caught in it sometimes (not a lot). I would never use it if I had just gotten my hair done. The metal things (not sure what to call them) move easily- I'm readjusting them a lot.

Overall, it's all right. I would never buy one for myself so I'm glad I got one as a gift. If I ever bought another one, it would probably be an upgrade to one that vibrates (they made newer ones on their website). I wouldn't pay over $6 for this. You won't regret buying it, but... it's not something amazing to get excited about. - Massager - Head Massager - The Tingler - Gift Idea'

Binding System - binder, binding

This product does exactly what it says on the box. It allows you to punch and bind up to ninety pages of letter-sized 20 lb paper into a presentable, professional-looking booklet in a quick and efficient manner. It's designed cleanly so that you can punch pages without hurting your hands, and it looks presentable enough that you can keep it on your office desk without looking like you brought some kind of car part in to work. And it has a handy-dandy closed compartment to catch the bits left over from punching for swift, neat disposal.

The one problem is that the punch guides are very narrow, allowing you to punch only five or six pages at a time. If you have a thick presentation with a lot of pages, this may not be the swiftest possible option. And the guides can be a little hard to identify by feel, so it is occasionally all too easy to punch some pages cock-eyed. But these problems are easy to handle if you just make sure you have enough time and don't need to rush.

This product is perfect for office workers, writers, teachers, or anybody else who has to bind together papers in a neat, polished manner. It is inexpensive, efficient, durable, portable, and convenient. Highly recommended, a product you'll be proud to use over and over again. Stripped Screw - screw remover, alden

I used the Pro Grabit to remove 2 1/2" screws that have secured my deck for 20 years and have been intractable for many years. It worked well for a several screws, but then the extractors broke. Reading the warnings in the detailed instructions, I find: "Tool can be compromised if extracting large screws exceeding 2 inches in length and/or have aggressive threads". Alden 8430P Pro Grabit Broken Bolt and Damaged Screw Extractor 3 Piece Kit

Drill head is made of something about as durable as coathanger wire, bit barely worked on a clean screw, rusted? forget about it. drill tip wore to uselessness on 4th screw, extractor rounded out by fifth, you'd do better with your money by buying a lottery ticket, at least you'd have a small chance of getting your money's worth....the only reason I rated it one star is that they won't let me rate it ZERO stars.

I am removing deck screws from my decking... they are 2 1/2 screws and a few of them stripped the phillips head when I was removing them. I worked with this tool for over an hour and only was able to remove one screw. And then I burned up the "easy-out" end of the tool. I was using the middle sized tool, since my screw size is #8. The boring end of the tool acted like it was dull and did not want to drill into the screw head... and the lack of depth was likely the reason it didn't work. After the middle size was totaled, I tried the small size... it bored in easily, but the tool was too small to work on such a large screw. I feel I wasted $20 and a lot of my time ordering and testing it.

Using the Pro Grabit couldn't be easier. I stripped normal sized screws when installing floorboards and digging them out would have caused a lot of damage. Using the Pro Grabit as instructed I was able to quickly and easily remove even screws that I had stripped to a round hole!

I think the other reviewer should have bought the 4 piece kit since it has the largest Grabit (No 10 or 3/8) and would have taken care of his problem. I have also used the 4 piece (which is the same as the 3 piece but with the extra largest size Grabit bit). Same Made in the USA craftsmanship and nice little case to keep them all together.

Overall a perfect item to have around when you get a caught with a stripped screw or bolt. I'd recommend having one in every handyman's toolkit.

READ THE DIRECTIONS and take your time and they'll work just like they say they will and you'll be happy you bought them.

Not an often used tool, but when you need them, nothing else will do. I've only needed them 4 or 5 times, but have been amazed each time when the tool bailed me out!

It didn't work my first time because I hadn't read the directions and therefore hadn't drilled the head deep enough. When I did, the lag screw backed right out. - Screw Removal - Screw Remover - Stripped Screw - Alden'

Narrow Crown Stapler - narrow crown stapler, staplers

I bought this stapler after a disappointment with a "refurbished" older model that would drive both staples and brads. Compared to the older one, the SX1838K was easier to use in terms of putting the staples exactly where I wanted them and particularly for providing good countersinking of the fasteners. It also does not require oiling, which avoids the possibility of staining the work. I use the stapler in my home shop for cabinet making and a variety of day to day fastening needs. I found the 7/32" staple and this stapler to be something I count on and use often, usually along with glue, to get a strong, tight joint very quickly, without having the confusion of clamping up the pieces and driving a screw. Bostitch SX1838K 18-Gauge Narrow-Crown Stapler

History:

I've been in the building trade all my life and have extensive experience with most tools.

Review:

This is a great stapler. Quick change trigger, quick turn depth gauge, and hook to hold it on your belt while working. It even has a built in pencil sharpener- funny, but helpful.

Purchased the stapler in nov 2010 to install a beadboard ceiling and trim in a small house. Stapler is now in for service for the 3rd time, after less then 5000 staples. The first time the piston jammed in the cylinder, the last 2 times the piston won't retract far enough to catch a staple.

This tool is terrific for applying screen molding and other thin moldings that nails would otherwise pull through. It's well built, light weight, and works flawlessly right out of the box. I honestly can't believe that I lived so long without this little handy dandy.

This gun is amazing. Starting at the swivel air connection right on to the fact that it knows when it's out of staples. I'm using this guy for a 1x6 knotty pine ceiling firing 1 ½" staples. A finishing nail in the tongue is to thin and pulls right thru.

I got this stapler to reinforce joints for custom picture frames. The stapler is powerful, easy to use and is great for the job intended. I use the 1/2 in leg staples. Just need to make sure the staple is centered in the joint.

I like the stapler alot. Using it for wood flooring installation. While not configured for installing wood flooring, it was jury-rigged to do so and did an acceptable job. Having more floors to do, will make a jig to work better. I have used the stapler in another application and it worked great. It is relatively small and easy to handle. I did not give this stapler 5-stars because of Amazon's delivery. For an "in stock" item, it took nearly a week to get it even though it was eventually shipped from a neighboring state. Unacceptable in my opinion. - Brad Nailer - Finish Nailer - Narrow Crown Stapler - Staplers'

Cd Players - cd, car stereo

I THOUGHT the factory installed MACH stereo in my 2000 mustang was excellent but this Pioneer brings a new level of music enjoyment to my driving. When my old cd player started acting weird, I seized the opportunity to upgrade to an IPOD compatible system. After much research I narrowed the selection down to Kenwood or Pioneer and then went to a car audio shop to test them out. The Pioneer was MUCH better sound than the Kenwood. The 4300 was a new arrival and I had not read any reviews on it but after testing it against the 2200 and the model above it (can't remember the number) I went with the 4300 for sound and ease of use. I could also more easily read the display which is important for my aging vision. The difference in sound blew me away.... I had really thought the Head unit I had was pretty darn good... it pales in comparison to this pioneer (and remember, this is not an expensive head unit AT ALL)

I have no doubt that audiofiles poo poo this stereo and so be it.. but I do have a somewhat sensitive ear and I can adjust the sound to my liking. There is a small learning curve on the controls, but not as bad as other stereos I have had with Ipod control...so... all in all..I could not be more pleased with my purchase. I bought it from the stereo shop because I was not capable or willing to install it myself. I paid a hefty price for the "free" installation ($100)which is the difference between the Amazon price and what I paid at the shop but I drove away with a whole new experience in sound... and that is worth something, yes? Just finished installing which was such a breeze since my last stereo was also a Pioneer, Pioneer DEH-3900mp to be exact. Works smoothly and the sound is way better in comparison to my old unit. The custom color illumination option is awesome compared to my old unit which was a little too bright in my opinion. The menu navigation will take some time learn but isn't too complicated which is good. Also works great with my first generation I-pod touch and the remote is great also. Overall this was the best upgrade a went with...no regrets.

I loved this... I did however need to pay to get it installed, but it was great. It will take a few hours to get completely used to the settings. Most stores retail this Stereo for about $250 to $350 without installation. Pioneer.com sells it for $140. I payed about $100 to purchase it here and an additional $100 to get it installed so as far as i know i save about $50. Over all I recommend it. I DID NOT KNOW MY CAR COULD SOUND THIS GOOD. And all i did was change it from my stock stereo to this one. Now i can charge my Iphone or Ipod and I no longer need to buy CDs.

Bought this on my own at a Local stereo shop for $129.99 + tax and after installation and wireing harness it was 202.09$

I was sceptical because, i wanted to buy a kenwood at first but, this has really good sound, especaiialy FM radio (when no inerferiance). iPod Sounded great.

Just one thing, i really like bass, and there is none at all, my stock FORD explorer deck had more bass than this.

The radio is great. It does everything that I wanted it to do and then some. It came with a remote and more importantly a usb and aux port. It also came with some additional connection for monitors and two subs, if i ever decide to buy some... hee hee... PERFECT!

The Pioneer DEH 4300UB deck is one that combines high end technology, a huge amount of customization, increased sound performance, and last but not least - it's incredibly user friendly. I installed the deck in about 20 minutes and was listening to tunes moments after. You can choose from about 30 different color combinations and have a few sound settings to put it to. The USB option is probably the biggest reason I purchased it, you never need to worry about having books of CD's or remembering to keep your iPod with you - the USB can just be unplugged and tossed in your pocket. The sound it delivered from my stock speakers (I have a 1995 F150) was much higher than the stock deck could deliver. After I put in new Pioneer speakers the volume was almost too much, I wind up leaving the sound setting around 20, otherwise it's too loud - but with no distortion!

The only downside to this deck is that although the colors are a cool option to customize, they are almost impossible to see during the day which makes it quite difficult to safely see what station you're tuning to or which track is being selected. If it was not for this aspect I would certainly awarded 5 stars.

My Sony car stereo died after only a few months of use. Since it did not last long and other people reported the same problems with Sony, I decided to switch brands and go with the Pioneer DEH-4300UB CD Receiver. The first thing that attracted me was the user friendly layout. Some car stereos have strange or hard to push buttons. When I'm driving, I don't want to have to lean over and try to read tiny buttons on the control panel. With the Pioneer, it is setup very nicely and is easy to use. I really enjoy the MultiColor LCD as it cycles through several colors of the spectrum. Now for the most important part- the sound is awesome! I'm getting incredible bass, even though I don't have a subwoofer in my truck. The sound is a huge improvement from Sony to the Pioneer. The factory default sound is OK, but if you want big sound, then you need to read the instruction manual and then adjust your settings. In my case, I needed to set the sound quality to "loud", turn up the "bass" and increase the "mid levels" as well. By doing this I got powerful bass while still being able to hear the vocals clearly. One last thing I wanted to mention was that the detachable face plate is very easy to remove and then reattach. With my old stereo, I had a lot of problems getting it to snap on, but with the Pioneer it just slides into place, click and it's done. Overall I'm very satisfied with this product and would purchase more products from Pioneer. - Cd - Car Stereo - Usb - Cd Players'

Goggles - goggles, speedo

I bought the Speedo Vanquisher 'COLOR: clear' for night swimmming. The new 2.0 peripheral lens design actually allows me to see more. This is most important when I have swimmers encroaching into my lane! The clear lens has certainly helped me to avoid a few 'crashes'!

I have been using the Vanquisher series a while now because of the soft, comfortable silicone seals. These goggles always remain intact and watertight. I can even dive off from the low diving board without the goggles slipping off or taking in water. Best of all, these goggles do not make sink marks around my eyes or nose.

SEE MY PHOTOS IN CUSTOMER IMAGES

For a better individual fit, these 2.0 Vanquisher goggles are shipped with three improved interchangeable nose pieces to accommodate different nose widths.

Of course, the Speedo Vanquisher 'COLOR: clear' goggles would allow too much light for swimming in strong daylight. To effictively reduce the sun glare during daytime workouts, I recommend the Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Plus Mirrored Goggle. Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Goggle (Clear)

Pros:

- best fitting pair of goggles i've ever worn

- keeps water out without making deep indentations around your eyes

- multiple nosepieces for different nose widths

Cons:

- the nose pieces are kind of hard to attach

- the nose piece i use sometimes disconnects, and i have to push it back in to connect the 2 halves of the goggle.

- they should make it easier to attach and detach the nosepieces. its not easy.

When I just got these they were perfect. They look great, work great, and are adjustable (nose piece). They were always clear. That is, for the first two uses. Since, it's been constantly fogging every fourth lap or so. It's not so bad so I still use them and I still love them. Perhaps all they need is some defogging spray. I would still recommend these. They're great for the price for the casual swimmer.

Just started to swim again after a 20 year break since high scool. These goggles are do much better than the goggles of yesteryear, comfortable, leak-proof, durable. Love them, I may even keep swimming.

Worked great on day 1. These literally fog up in less than 30 seconds, i can only get one lap and I can't see again. Pretty annoying on days with a lot of laps. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I don't know, but I really don't like these and I would not recommend them.

these goggles are the best goggles i have ever used, if well taken care of and proper handling they should last you up to 6-7 weeks with the antifog doing its job, most goggles only give you 3-4 if well taken care of. they are soft on your face, but water doesn't go in your eyes, they are really fast, and if you want more efficiency and comfort get the sporti goggle bungee strapsSporti Bungee Strap: Goggle Accessories

I had the speedo V/2.0 with the heavy tint and couldn't see my watch, fish in my open ocean swims etc. Got the clear goggles and love them. Going to the dive shop next door today to get some anti-fog as they do fog but every thing I own does when exercising in the water. Great for the money. Also got a pair for the Mrs. whom is part American Indian (high cheekbones) and never had a pair of goggles or dive mask fit properly. With the nose piece adjustments that come with them she can now go out for the 1600yd open water swims without 'leaking'.

I bought this one last week and hit the pool the same night when I received it as I was so excited to try it out. The anti fog was working for first couple of laps. Then I took a rest and took it off. The moment I got back into the water after a few minutes, the fog started to build up in one of the goggles. I risen it with water and tried again, didn't help. The fog just kept building up. After this first use, I get fog every time. I don't know what happened, maybe they mailed me a returned item or there is something wrong with the anti fog coating in the manufacture phase.

I saw the other post mentioning the anti fog not working, but didnt pay much attention, which I should have.

To be fair, the goggle seals perfectly and not does not leak water. It's just not anti fog. If you are fine with that, this is a good choice. - Speedo - Goggles'

Pilates Mat - yoga accessories, mat

Since I am 5'11", I LOVED that this mat was extra long. I can finally fit all the way on the mat and not be hanging off of one end! I know many people said it was smelly or slippery, but I did not have that problem. I followed the instructions (unroll the mat and let it air out, then wipe it down) and didn't have any smell or "slippage." I really do like this mat. I can see how some do not like the thickness, but I think that is all in what you prefer (I like the extra cushion it provides). Yoga Mat 1/4"x72" Extra Thick 14 Colors Non-Toxic PER Phthalate Free Clean PVC (TM) by Bean Products - Heart Red

I ordered 10 of these mats to supply a new yoga class I'm teaching.

On the whole, they are perfectly reasonable mats for occasional use. They had a mild rubber smell, which wore off quickly. They provide a good degree of padding and reasonable slip resistance. Certainly doesn't compete with a higher end jade or manduka mat, but this is a great price point for something that doesn't have any big problems.

The extra length is a big bonus for taller practitioners and surprising to find at this price.

They provide a little more padding/springiness than I might recommend for an intermediate or advanced practitioner. If you practice frequently, it is probably worth splurging on something more specialized.

If you tend to sweat heavily and/or practice in a hot room, you'll probably need a towel or a practice rug to throw on top of it.

I really love my mats (yes, I have more than 1) and recommend my friends to purchase this one. Good long length, bright happy colors, and you cannot beat the price...why spent a large chunk of change on something that either you get bored with using, gouge out tiny holes with your toenails as you transition from up-dog to down-dog, and with something that after a certain amount of time, you just got to replace for germs, dirt, sweat, and everyday crud? I like that I got good quality, variety colors, thick, long yoga mats that (for the price) cannot be beat!

This mat sucks. Thick sure, but it has no stickyness to it. I don't even do hot yoga, but it is warm in the room and I was sliding ALL over it. I had to put towels down. Also, it's thickness is weird. It kind of molds to your hands and feet so when you try to reposition, you sink back into where you were. This mat is cheap for a reason. Beware.

This mat is very cushy and I never feel uncomfortable. It's also a great color. However, my palms sweat a lot and I slip quite a bit. I followed the instructions and washed it before using it, but it didn't make a difference. I know that continued use is supposed to make it better, but it is slippery to the point that it was unusable. I kept sliding and falling over, and I eventually just had to buy a mat-sized yoga towel to put on top of it so I wouldn't get hurt. However, I may as well have just bought a more expensive mat in the first place instead of first paying $18 for the mat and then paying another $22 for the towel. Honestly, if you don't have sweaty hands/feet, then just go with a $5 mat. This one isn't any better. If you do sweat, invest in a more expensive mat.

This yoga mat is very good.I am happy to buy this one.

Initially gives some latex smell, but it goes after certain usage.

Had to pay less for such a wonderful yoga mat.The thickness is appropriate too:)Recommended!!!

I bought this mat based on the price; I have been looking for an affordable mat for ages. Unfortunately, I now have to pay for two mats because this one is terrible. Insanely slippery, and we're talking for basic stretches and poses -- downward-facing dog is near impossible. I've tried it three times and have never been hot or sweaty or anything to cause a slick surface. I literally cannot hold myself in the most basic positions. No grip or traction to speak of. Save yourself the headache and the expense of two mats -- put your dollars toward something of better quality.

I love the colors, but honestly, this product is useless as a yoga mat. I slipped all over the place and had to borrow a mat from the front desk at my yoga studio just so I could get through class. I tried it with my thin sticky mat on top and it's fine, but what a pain!

I bought this mat based on the reviews I read on Amazon. However, I'm pretty disappointed in the quality, especially for the price.

On this mat, I slip substantially more than when I use the mats where I do yoga. Also, my toenails have gouged the back of the mat, which did not happen when at the gym.

If you're committed to your practice, do make the investment in a better quality mat, even if it costs more. Otherwise, a cheaper mat (i.e. a five dollar one at the dollar/discount store) will accomplish everything that this mat will. - Mat - Pilates Mat - Yoga Mat - Yoga Accessories'

Earrings - diamond jewelry, stud

I have 4 pierced holes in each of my ears and the baby diamonds I always wore were stolen when I was robbed. I have very sensitive ears and everything else I put in the 3 top holes would dig in and infect my ears.

I saw these 1/10 ct. white gold earrings here for $30 and thought perfect! Sure, the quality of the diamonds isn't great, but since they were 1/10 ct. it didn't matter. They actually look a lot nicer than I expected and I never take them out!

If you don't read the description, the picture is deceiving... but they actually look as nice as the picture... if you are looking for very small diamonds earrings for a child or for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, what have you hole, read the description here. It actually is deceiving, because the quality relayed here does not do the earrings justice. 10k White Gold Princess-Cut Diamond Stud Earrings (1/10 cttw, J-K Color, I2-I3 Clarity)

I3 is a category of diamond that in the past would only have been used for industrial diamonds. (e.g. they would be ground up and used to make saw blades) However because of the demand for cheap diamonds, I3 diamonds are now being cut and used in jewelry. This is why the prices for certain types of diamond jewelry have become incredibly cheap.

Diamonds are graded as follows: FL, IF, VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2, I1, I2, I3

The grading description for I3 is as follows: "I3 diamonds have large and extremely easy to see inclusions that typically impact the brilliance of the diamond, as well as having inclusions that are often likely to threaten the structure of the diamond."

I am all for look over perfection, but I would think twice before buying a diamond graded below SI2, unless this is for your young daughter who might lose them somewhere...

I purchased these for my wife when they appeared in the 'deal of the day' section, and did not read the description very carefully. This is definitely a case where the top down view is decieving. I expected a simple, modest, pair of earings she could wear at work.

These were tiny -- really baby sized earrings. Look at the side view before purchasing, and note the size of the backing. It's a small backing, and the earrings themselves are the size of a ball point pen.

As long as you are aware of the size, I didn't see anything wrong with the quality. They seemed fine. But I expect them to get lost very quickly.

The studs were cute, but a little small. I would not agree that they are the size of a pin-head or . (see the other reviews) but they are certantily not big. I returned them b/c I was too afraid of loosing one. If you are in the market for a second pair of earrings or nose ring, I think they'd be perfect. I think Amazon should be take pictures of these earrings that are "too scale" because the picture is decieving.

I bought these as a gift for my girlfriend. I was going to Germany to visit her, because she is studying Engineering in Berlin. The trip itself was a Christmas present, but I went ahead and got these, too, because I wanted to make it a little special. It was an important trip for me too.

I specifically waited until we went to the Reichstag (I really wanted to go there) and gave them to her.

At first I thought they might have been a little small. However, they were very clear and the white gold pushed them quite well. Either way I am satisfied with my purchase. My only complaint would be the that they were not shipped in a nice little box or something to present them in. They just came in a pouch.

They are tiny but for thirty dollars what can you expect for diamonds? The princess cut shows off more of the small diamond than a round cut. I bought them for my mom for christmas for her second earlobe piercing. They add just enough sparkle to accent her main earrings. She loves them and for an earring that small, grade doesn't really matter. I would recommend these for anyone looking for a small accent earring.

These earrings are the perfect size for a second hole or for someone who wants just a little sparkle in their ear. Definitely look at the diamond size chart. I am very please with the product and the look of these. They also are very comfortable and secure on the ear. I wanted something small, yet pretty for my second hole. I found them. :)

I was skeptical about this purchase after reading some of the reviews but the studs are nice for everyday use as I am a male that works in a semi-corporate setting; they have even been called cute. They are noticeable but not flashy and the diamonds and gold tested real. It seems like some people are expecting large flawless diamonds; never at this price. I'm not a specialist but I do own some high end jewelry this is a good buy for the price. - Diamond Jewelry - Amazoncom Collection - Diamond Stud Earrings - Stud'
