Do It Yourself - crafting, stencils

I have used this product for over a week and have cut out over 30 stencils already. This product works like a charm. It takes about 5 minutes to warm up to maximum heat but after that it cuts through stencil sheet material like butter. It is as easy to use as a pen. Previously I used an exacto knife set and let me tell you this product far exceeds that archaic method. It comes with 2 different tips but I have only found use for the straight tip as I don't see how the curved tip will improve on its ability. For stencil material I use Grafix Dura Lar "Matte" stencil sheets sold in a pad of 25. I originally purchased a thickness of .005 but would recommend a thicker medium such as .007. Make sure to get the matte version as it can be drawn on with pencil without smearing and you can erase any mistakes without so much as a smudge left. Also be sure to purchase the sheets in a pad and not a roll because the pad sheets will always lay flat and not curl like most stencil mediums. I purchased the stencil sheets from Jerry's Altarama but there are alternative sites that sell it as well. This is the first time I have used an electric cutter and I am more than satisfied. I have viewed similar electronic cutters, including the 5 in 1 tool but the reviews on those products were not appealing. This product will not disappoint! Enjoy and happy stenciling. Wall Lenk L12SCK Cutlass Stencil Cutting Kit

To whom it may concern:

The following item worked very well, just make sure you use a hard surface to cut your stecils on, like a piece of sheet metal or a hard piece of smooth wood, it has to be a hard surface to cut on..Otherwise your stencil won't turn out right, and all you've done now is made a mess and yourself very mad..Also read the instructions on the package, it tells you some important things as far as how to store it, when operating it and when not in opreration, and so on. I beleive this unit works very well and is worth the price I paid for it...Thanks, feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding this product or stencil's in general, I would be glad to help you...

Kevin Sampson

Bought as an experiment, I left the X-Acto blades on the table. It cuts through mylar like a hot knife through butter and leaves precise clean lines. You have to cut them on a heat resistant surface. I put a piece of glass over my light table and went to town. It cut my working time on a moderately complex stencil by 2/3s

I purchased this for the obvious reason of cutting stencils. It does a great job of that and gives me nice clean cuts. When my solder gun couldn't get a very tiny portion on a PC board without destroying the board, I decided to give this a try using the curved tip since I don't use that tip anyway. Worked great so I recommended it to many of my friends to use for that purpose. - Do It Yourself - Stencils - Crafting'

Children Crafts And School

Bought this for my wife's kindergarteners (their school just so happens to be 30/1) and it worked out really well. None of the tubes were dried out and they seemed to wear well. The kids used the glue for traditional projects and everyone said it held up very well. If you're thinking about it for yourself - don't hesitate, and in this economy consider donating a box to your local school. Elmers All Purpose SCHOOL GLUE STICK 7 grams 30pk (E556)

I bought a box of these for my high school students to use on a class project. They were gluing ads from magazines onto construction paper and poster boards (variety of types). Once dry, things would pop off. The magazine paper wasn't staying glued to the construction paper or the poster boards. Different types of paper products were used with the same results. I cannot recommend these based on my experience with them.'

Assassins Creed - ezio, video games

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is a fantastic game in every aspect and has brought a great amount of enjoyment. The creators put forth a great deal of work and made many improvements from previous installments. The game feels like an entirely different game even though it continues the story of Ezio. I am extremely pleased so far.

The Story

-------------------

As always, the Assassin's Creed story is exceptional. You continue the story of the battle between the Assassins and the Templars. You dive further into Ezio's life and explore the city of Rome. The story is as great as ever and the leading a group of assassins is a truly great feeling. The missions are well tied to the story. I cannot say too much about the story without spoiling it; however you will not be disappointed.

The Gameplay

-------------------

The gameplay is fantastic! It is one of the major improvements the creators made to the game. The combat system has been greatly improved to be more aggressive. No more sitting there, waiting for an opponent to make a move. Leading a group of assassins is great in combat. You can call them to aid you and watch as they assassinate, shoot, and slice your enemies along with you. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood also comes with new weapons, machines, and equipment. Now you can soar down towers using parachutes and quickly air assassinate people. Also you can now truly fight on horseback! It provides a whole new element to the game. The free climbing is as great as ever. The gameplay has been improved in too many ways to cover them all.

The Online Experience

-----------------------

Online is brilliant. It's a whole new experience that has never truly been seen before. There are several different game modes and maps to play on. Also there are over 10 characters to play as, along with unique weapons and abilities, such as the ability to sprint away, or morph into a different character. An online assassin game is truly amazing. The feeling of sweeping from the roof to an unsuspecting player is great. The online is a HUGE success and I love every minute of it. It adds a huge deal of replay to the game.

The Replay Amount

-----------------------

The game offers a great deal of replay in contrast to the past games. In Brotherhood, there is a huge amount of challenges to play through. Also, similar to previous editions, you can search for hidden items in the game. There is much more to do when you get bored of following the campaign. This isn't even including the online! The online mode makes the game have a huge amount of replay time. Brotherhood is much longer than other installments of the games due to challenges and online mode!

Conclusion

--------------

This game is truly outstanding. I love everything about it. The story, gameplay, and online make this game exceed my expectations. This game is superior to the other two Assassin's Creeds. If you even remotely enjoyed the previous Assassin's Creeds, than get Brotherhood. You will love every second of it! Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

When I heard Brotherhood was coming out so close to AC2, at first I was over trilled and totally hyped up to get my hands on it... but as many have pointed out, a sequel in less than year is worrisome when it comes to quality.

Well, the doubts were completely answered with an amazing, full, and engaging game.

Story wise: It is finally being made a LOT more clear that Desmond is the face of Assassin's Creed. He is getting a lot more playtime and the first section you play with him as is nostalgically similar to the Assassin's Tombs in AC2 (only a lot easier and more latches and lifts.)

The Shrines of Romulus will be the new "assassin tombs" giving a armor that will give you full synchro with Ezio.

On Ezio's side you will see the return of "flags" that were in AC1 and the "feathers" in AC2, and getting all of them unlocks their own rewards.

In conclusion, as to not give any spoilers, the story is what you would expect from this franchise.... awesome. Graphics looks a lot better than what I remember (having played the ps3 version of AC@.)

Gameplay:

Combat-

Assassin's Creed is definitely evolving and I am liking it's progress. AC1 was basically spam the attack button and block... cool at first, right?

AC2 expanded on this with counter kill moves, but then we would be stuck waiting for the A.I to attack us for easy kills.

Brotherhood ADDS all of that and combines it with a stronger and smarter A.I, making the enemies attack you back to back (instead of in turns), and offensive gameplay is now a lot stronger than it was before. So the battles are quick and gory with even larger battles going on compared to previous ACs.

Additions to previous features-

>New Weapons

>New Armors (sadly the "armor" gotten for pre-ordering at Amazon is an outfit)

>Trade Items furthering the element of a role playing game

>Run your own city (in this case Rome) is back on a larger scale

> and of course, the ability to make your Brotherhood of assassins (it's the name of the game!)

Multiplayer-

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is the first game in series with a multiplayer mode!! We asked for it, and they answered.

The animi you see at the beginning of AC2 is the back story of the multiplayer section of the game. Abstergo templars use the animi to gain the skills of assassins with the bleeding effect, and that is us.

Each player is assigned a target (some other player), now the player has to assassinate its target without losing their cover, or they will be killed by the person who was assigned to assassinate THEM!

I haven't gotten into the story mode that much yet, but apparently the multiplayer characters we will play as are in the main story, so everything is tied in nicely, right?!

Uplay points- Assassin's Creed 2 was the first to have these and of course, every new Ubisoft game has them. Brotherhood is no exception to this. If you do not know what this entails, it is basically ubisoft's version of trophies or achievements. They unlock exclusive themes and ingame media (extra bullets skins, multiplayer character, etc). Pretty nice of them.

If you have already beaten AC2 as I have you get 20 uplay points at the start of the game.

In Closing:

As a fan of Assassin's Creed, I can't help but just praise it with a perfect score. If you have seen trailers, demos, gameplay videos... just take a dive and give it a try, it at least deserves a trial run. You wont regret it. - Video Games - Ezio - Ps3 Games - Playstation 3'

Millassembly Work Tools - senco, nailer

Was planning on spending $300 to get a Hitachi 15 guage and an 18 guage air nailer but I saw this deal at H.D. and couldn't pass it up. I didn't know much about Senco other than they seemed to be a quality brand but just not as well known as Hitachi or Bostitch. I brought them home and used the 15 guage finish nailer and 18 guage brad nailer to hang trim and wainscoting in a bedroom I was converting into an office. Both nailers worked very well. I didn't have a single missfire with either nailer. They seem to be very well built and durable. Very happy with my purchase. Senco 3 Tool Finish and Trim Kit, Finish Pro 35, Finish Pro 15, SLS 15 Stapler with Heavy-Duty Rolling Case

I picked these up as a backup to my daily trim guns. Even the best guns end up in the shop eventually so it's nice to have a backup. These do fine. The only complaint I have is that they are much heavier than "professional" grade tools of this type. That could be a good thing (more steel, less plastic) but if you use them all day, it certainly causes more strain and more fatigue. So, if you are looking for a good, basic set of tools to have around the garage or shop for doing small projects around the house, these should be a good buy for you. If you are a professional carpenter you might want to do a little shopping and spend a hair more money for something lighter

The roll-away bag is a nice feature. I actually use it. Keeps everything in one handy spot & it's easy to move around.

I was looking around for a finish nailer and ran into this set at Home Depot. At the time it was on clearance and all they had was the floor demo. I bought the set for $150, which is a steal; you can't even buy the finish nailer for that price. I took it home and the nailers worked great. The case is sturdy and is a great plus. Even with all the abuse of being floor demo's the nailers were in great condition and worked perfect. It is the quality you come to expect from Senco. - Finish Nailers - Nailer - Nail Gun - Senco'

Wiper Blade - rear wiper, bosch wiper blades

While this wiper does a fair job; I didn't think it worth the price. After a month or so, the ****ed thing fell off the wiper arm. I had to glue it back in place. For this price range I expect more. Also, even though it does say in the ad that you only get one blade; it was not obvious when purchasing, I thought they were selling a pair. I never heard of anyone selling a single wiper blade... I always replace as a set. Imagine my surprise to find out I paid nearly $20 for 1 blade... After all the ad hype, I am quite disappointed. Rain-X still makes the best windshield water repellent; but I will never buy one of their wiper blades again. Rain-X Repel Premium Bracketless Wiper Blade - 16"

This blade was said to fit my car. It fits. What it does not do is conform to the window.

The places where it does fit are dry and streak free, but a great patch of glass gets no contact with the blade.I have watched it operate, I have taken it off and reinstalled it, no go. I threw away the packaging before the rain, so, this blade will soon follow. - Bosch Wiper Blades - Rear Wiper - Razor Blade - Wiper Blade'

Kindle 3 Covers - kindle 3 covers, kindle covers

At first, the idea of a Kindle 3G case with a built-in light sounded really great, until I realized two things:

1) our family already has an iPad, an iPhone and an iPod Touch for when we want to read in the dark, and

2) though I wanted the new Kindle 3G protected, even from rain, I didn't want it any thicker or heavier in the case than necessary, and still wanted to do my reading without it in a case.

With us already having a Belkin zippered neoprene case for our Kindle 2 US, I also knew I'd rather avoid the need for a zipper this time. (The zipper works fine, but it's one more thing to mess with when getting the Kindle out of or into its case.)

Though it looks a bit strange in the product photos, the angled sides of the BUILT sleeve case are perfect for both holding the Kindle 3G in its sleeve case, and making it easily removable from the case. The slightly-rounded top and bottom add protection, and give you an easy place to grab the case while pulling the Kindle 3G out, or putting it back inside.

I particularly like the soft slightly-furry microfiber liner, as it both protects the screen, and will help keep it clean. I also like the floral pattern of the outer case. My wife thinks it's "girly", but I'm a gardener, so it looks fine to me.

Highly recommended! BUILT Neoprene Kindle Sleeve (Fits 6" Display, Latest Generation Kindle), Scatter Dot

Exploring the variety of covers and sleeves available for Kindles kept me occupied while waiting for delivery of my first Kindle. I knew I wanted to read it "naked" so a sleeve made good sense. I wanted something that was KISS (keep it simple stupid), provided solid protection in my travel pack, bike rack and backpack as well as purse, but didn't add unnecessary weight or size. One of the delightful features of the Kindle 3 is it's small size and weight. Putting a heavy cover or sleeve on it seems to defeat that feature, t so this is a winner. The neoprene provides cushioning and protection without added bulk and weight. Don't worry about the lack of a zipper. This sleeve holds my baby snug and tight. It's not going anywhere unless I pull it out. I like that I can wash it to keep it clean. The bright colors and patterns help prevent loss and make it easy to spot inside dark bags. The blue microfleece lining is so soft. I bought the garden print which is retro fun and the Verso light in turquoise which matches the blue in that print & the fleece perfectly. Stylish, colorful, effective, practical combo with little added weight or bulk.

Was really excited that BUILT has partnered with Amazon to offer a sleeve for Kindle 3.0. I own several BUILT products (lunchboxes, laptop case) and appreciate the quality and materials. This neoprene sleeve for the Kindle is excellent: Kindle slides in tightly, and is open on the top for easy access to my Kindle, the Scatter Dot design is cool, and the inside feels like a cozy fake fur coat. Highly recommend!!

I thought I'd give this thing a shot. I was concerned about adequate protection from screen impact, but so far this thing's been great. I've dropped it off my desk in the case at least twice, it bounces!

First time I saw that, I was sold.

Things I would trust it for:

* Dropping on floor

* Looking cool while carrying it

* Keeping it dry in the rain

* Unplanned and short encounters with my toddler

* Tossing the kindle blindly into my van in the morning, hoping it lands on the passenger seat but not sweating it if I miss

* If you're a professional athlete, you could probably carry it on your person for most sports, like basketball, soccer, tennis, and obviously bowling (well, if you suck at bowling as bad as I do, you may want to keep conveniently hurled objects like kindles out of arm's reach, but it stands a good chance of surviving even a disgruntled hurl down the lane in this case)

Things I would not trust it for:

* Carrying it while playing hockey, rugby, baseball (in case it gets hit by the ball), jousting, martial arts, duels, or pretty much anything that used to be done on American Gladiators (TM)

* Deflecting bullets from people wanting to steal your kindle because it's awesome

* Dropping it into a puddle, pool, lake, pond, or ocean

* Dropping it from an aircraft, or tall building

* Letting your toddler play with it deliberately. As toddlers have a superhuman innate ability to destroy anything they choose to, this is not a good idea in any case.

* Blindly tossing your kindle down a flight of stairs, hoping it lands on the bottom steps

So that being said, you know where things stand.

For my 2nd gen Kindle, I had a hinge cover, a snap-on cover, and a zip around cover. All of them seemed bulky, which defeats the purpose of having a slim e-reader. I got this one for my new Kindle and I LOVE it! It fits like a glove, it's super lightweight, and it's machine washable! - Kindle Covers - Kindle Accessory - Kindle 3 - Kindle 3 Covers'

Model Trains - rotary tool, hobby tool

First off, this is a "mini" set (i.e. each piece is the size of a dime [cone shaped ones] or a half dollar [pinwheel ones]). Although the description does list the accurate sizes, the picture is deceiving. This did not factor into my review rating but thought I would mention it.

Second, it is made in China and the quality is lacking. I used a brass piece on a small cast iron skillet to remove simple surface rust and it didn't even make it passed half of the bottom of the skillet and there was nothing left of the brush! I have used these before but this set was the worst. These brushes are cheaply made.

Third, on the BOTTOM of the box it says that the pieces contain lead. After I discovered that, I just threw the box out. Not worth breathing in lead (I do use a mask) or getting on my hands or clothes. Better safe than sorry!

I would avoid this product and do not recommend it.

Thanks for reading. I hope you found this review helpful. 24 piece Wire Wheel and Cup Brush Set

This brush set is a real bargain. Great purchase for those that do alot of small detailed rust removal and such with a rotary tool. The brushes aren't quite Dremel quality, but they get the job done and you can't beat the price for the amount of brushes you get. - Multitool - Hobby Tool - Dremel - Rotary Tool'

Best Mp3 Player - apple, ipod

**Before you read some of the negative reviews, please consider this was BEFORE the new firmware update 1.0.3 came out so unfortunately they had unresponsive clickwheels, itunes messing up etc. Also some people simply did NOT upgrade their firmware for whatever reason but A LOT of those problems have been fixed with the new firmware so UPGRADE YOUR FIRMWARE AS SOON AS YOU GET YOUR IPOD! It will make a BIG difference!**

Ok, on to the review..I just got my 80 gb ipod classic recently with a 3 year extended service plan, immediately got itunes version 7.5 and upgraded the firmware immediately to 1.0.3 which seems to have taken care of A LOT of bugs people have been reporting. It must have because I am not getting ANY of the problems other have reported such as laggy clickwheel, itunes freezing etc. The clickwheel is VERY responsive, only a light touch is needed and scrolling through cover art was very quick! No problems whatsoever with the clickwheel. I also have had no problems copying files to itunes and transferring them to my ipod. The ipod itself is a thing of beauty, love the non scratchable surface but the back of the ipod is where you can see all the fingerprints etc so get a good cover for it. The slimness of it is very sleek and heck this ipod just looks cool. I got the ipod up and running in no time after I transferred my music over. Love the search feature as well. There is a lot of features, settings and extra's. Heck I even like the clock.

PLEASE NOTE:TURN OFF & DON'T use the EQ (equalizer setting)if you want normal distortion free sound. I was using the EQ and wondered why a lot of my songs had distortion. I thought it was due to the bad sound everyone was talking about until I turned OFF the EQ. Upon turning the EQ off, the distortion vanished completely, the sound was just fine, pretty good in fact. It's a shame that you have to turn off the EQ settings to get good sound. Hopefully Apple will fix this with a firmware update.

I almost got one of the itouch ipods but the very limited space is what kept me from doing so. 80 gb is plenty of space for my music, a bit of videos etc. It might not have wifi or a touch screen but it's got tons of space for my music and that's what counts! I love my ipod classic, can't find much to be picky about except for the sound when EQ is enabled. It does exactly what it's supposed to, is easy to navigate, videos look crisp/great on it and most of all it holds a crapload of music. Just remember to upgrade your firmware to the newest version, disable EQ and invest in a good pair of headphones. One of the best things about the ipod classic is that because it has so much space, I don't have to worry about how many mp3's I put on it. I've never downloaded so many mp3's in my life! I literally put my entire collection of mp3's on it and still have tons of space left. Overall, I rate the ipod classic 80 gb (black)...absolutely superb. Apple iPod classic 80 GB Black (6th Generation) OLD MODEL

Ok guys, I just picked up my silver iPod classic 160gb from the Apple store on Regent Street in London so I can give an actual review on it.

I've had an 80GB video iPod for a year and it's already full, so I was really hoping Apple would make an iPod big enough for me. Presently I've got 110GB (and counting) of music, so this iPod is for people like me who have a large music collection, and who like to be able to take it anyplace.

The 160GB iPod is the same size as the 80gb, but costs less than the 80GB did when it first came out.

With a brushed aluminium front finish (similar to the 2 and 3G Nanos), it should be less prone to scratching, though the back is the same smudge magnet, and I don't know how resilient the screen is. The front is curvier than that of the last 2 video iPods, with the screen slightly depressed from the rest of the casing.

Additional features are extra long battery life (40 hours for music, 7 hours for video; I've tested this and playing music non stop without much fast forwarding, etc, it's about right), and cover flow (a fun way of scrolling through for music using album cover art, though it is a bit sluggish).

The new split-screen interface lists functions to the left half of the screen, and symbols (or previews of content such as cover art, videos or photos shown as a slide show) to the right as you scroll through the functions. Neat!!

During music playback, after being idle for about 80 seconds, the screen goes gray and displays a clock, and battery power. Viewing tracks in an album also gives you, at a glance, the track times. Same for video. A nice touch. To my hearing, the sound quality (without equalizers, mind you) is improved; more bass and a bit more treble. The iPod turns off in about 2 seconds, much faster than previous models.

It's still got the other regular features; album track lyrics (new, nicer text font, and it also shows the album art), can play video and games, store photos, contacts, calendar, notes, stopwatch, and screen lock (which allows you to lock the screen with a password), and it can be used as an external hard drive. It shows up in windows explorer as an external drive. The search feature allowing one to type in album/song/artist titles (introduced in the last video iPod) is still there, but relocated to the "music" menu. I didn't spot it at first. In fact, the menu has been reshuffled to make it better, and (under settings) one can now view number of songs, videos, photos, etc graphically just like in iTunes.

If you need loads of space for your music collection, you can't go wrong getting this. Judging from the crowds in the store, Apple's got another hit here. Now if only the iPod touch had this much memory... - 80gb Ipod - Mp3 Player - Ipod - Apple'

Canon Mp980 Printer

I know this OEM ink is expensive, but the quality of this ink can't be matched by the NONOEMS. If you care about the quality of your prints, this the way to go. I have used all kinds of after market products, and no matter what they claim about their quality, they just can't compare to oem. I also ended up with clogged print heads and at least 1 trashed printer. Photo output with this ink is gorgeous, and the color tones are just right. You also save a few bucks with this 4 pack. Canon CLI-221 4-Color Value Pack (Black/Cyan/Magenta/Yellow) (2946B004) in Retail Packaging

I moved up to a MP620 from a previous Canon printer. While I'll admit with the previous post that the ink wells are smaller, but they also use less drops of ink than my older model and gives out a MUCH better picture. And if you install the software that comes with the MP620, it will pop up showing a low cartridge, then click the exclamation above the tank, it will give you the part number needed. You can even click the 'about ink' button and will give you a nice large printable list of the ink part numbers.

I'll admit I still use local print shops for large quantities of 4x6 images, but single 4x6 or any other I can print with very pleasing results.

NOTE: The Canon Photo print software gives a more true to life color than either Photoshop or Lightroom. I know something needs to be changed in the Adobe software, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Excellent product. I suggest to readers that you consider using OEM products for printers. I screwed up my Canon printer using an off brand. You may go for some years with no problems using off brands and save some heavy duty money and it will pay for itself. However, if your printer fails early on because of off brand you are a loser. I have a good printer and will just pay the extra dollars. Some of my off brands were empty. Some would not work and the last batch dorked up my printer for good.

So far it looks like the ink is lasting a bit longer than I thought it might based on other reviews of the MP980 printer and these ink tanks. I do a lot of Birthday and greeting cards. Some of the cards have quite a lot of graphics and it is still chugging along. My former printer had the printer head go bad due to my purchasing non-Canon ink which was supposed to work just as well. The printer head costs almost as much as the printer itself. It's just not worth going cheap. I really prefer Canon printers so I'll stick to their ink. At least they have separate inks for the 3 primary colors and two black tanks.

I use third party toner on my laser printer, but I don't want to use third party ink on my photo printer. I don't mind spending a bit extra on a quality print especially after I spend great deal of time taking and editing my photos. These inks do the best job. Period.

But let's be realistic. 10$ on a tiny plastic box of ink that won't last very long is bit too much. Digital photography let you take lot of pictures at relatively no cost, but when you want to print them, they seem to be far more expensive than printing film.

Well what could I say the 4 color pack is great love that you dont have to replace all ink cartridges at the same time you only have to replace what colors are needed to be replaced. That is a good feature Canon is known for that. Alot of other brands you have to replace all ink even when they are halfway full. Never have problems with Canon ink, never had any problems with any of Cannon products. Oh yeah almost forgot and it is so easy to replace each cartridge.

I do a monthly newsletter for a TOPS group, and use quite a lot of ink. I like my new Canon printer - model MP620 -- I find that ordering my supply from Amazon is the most practical way, plus I like the multi - packs available.'

Outdoor Wireless Speaker - outdoor wireless speakers, great price

My friend was having a wedding and wanted to play some back round music while everyone was socializing. These speakers were the perfect thing we were looking for. During the time these were on sale at Costco for about $120 so we got them. We had already had 2 of the speakers that we got from Kohls which were a different brand but still worked, 900Mhz. When the speakers are plugged into a outlet, the quality is great and so is the range. What is good is that you can toss some batteries into them(we had six speakers and they take 6 batteries each, do the math haha) and they will work wirelessly. The dock also takes 4 AA batteries. The quality is not the best with batteries in them, limited to about 50-75 feet, but still worked for what we needed. Now we have them in our living room and the main dock is connected to the tv and the speakers are all around the room and they work really great. They are the easiest thing to set up. All you do is plug the speaker into the wall or toss in some batteries and then connect the transmitter to the tv and it all works. So if you are looking for some good speakers but dont want the Bose price, then i would recommend you getting these and you will love them.

***PROS***

-They have good sound quality for the price

-You get 4 speakers

-Ipod dock which can be connected to the tv or other device

-Remote which powers the speakers and controls the volume

-Can be battery operated

-Wireless. Just plug into an ipod and your ready to go

-Wall mount ready. Just put 2 screws into the wall and hook the speaker up

-Can be placed in different rooms of the house

***CONS***

-Annoying blue light(can be covered up with black tape)

-Lots of "C" batteries needed so you don't have to have it plugged into the wall

-Signal strength is lowed with using batteries

-Sometimes they turn off when not in us. Pain to turn them all back on and then have to turn up the volume

-One of the speakers likes to make a static noise some times. I can be sitting on the couch and if I move my head a little forward then it makes the noise, I move it back, the noise stops. And about 10 min after I turn the tv off, that speaker likes to make one final good bye static noise.

Design- 5 stars

They are all black, but they do come in different color(black, pink, and white). It almost has a 360 speaker, but the mounting space in the back takes up some room. Then the bass is on the top. The remote is nice to have too, but you have to point it at each speaker to change the volume or turn it on or off. They have a blue LED light, which can be bright and annoying sometimes but you get use to it or you can put a piece of black tape over it too.

Quality- 4 stars

The sound works for what is needed of them. They have good sound when connected to a outlet, but when the batteries are in the quality goes down. They can get very loud if you have a lot of them together. Or you can place them around the house to listen to music in different room. Some times we have one in our kitchen to listen to the tv while we cook and eat (comes in handy).

Overall- 4 stars

They work for what you need and are great to have when ever you are having a party or just want to crank up the music. They are weather proof too.

If this review was helpful to you, plase like it. Thanks! Audio Unlimited SPK-VELO-4KIT2 Premium 900MHz Wireless Indoor/Outdoor 4 Speaker System with Remote and Dual Power Transmitter (Black)

We were shopping for a sound system for our living room, because as usual, the TV speakers aren't very loud and really get alot of distortion at higher volumes. Our living room is connected to the kitchen, and while you can see the TV from the kitchen, you couldn't really hear it. And if someone was in the kitchen, or the dishwasher was running...forget trying to hear the TV!

Anyway, I had been shopping several systems, but our living room is deep and we didn't want the hassle of running the wires for the rear speakers and we didn't want to spend the extra $200+ for wireless rears. I was just browsing at Costco tonight and found these and figured I'd try them out, and since it was Costco, if I didn't like them I could return them.

I was super excited when I got them out of the box and realized that they are literally plug and go. Couldn't be any easier to install. We have lots of outlets so finding a place to put them was no problem at all. I put one in the front of the room by the TV and one behind the couch on an end table. Those two were plenty loud for the room, so I took the 3rd to the kitchen and put it on the counter. I cooked dinner and ran the dishwasher tonight and couldn't even hear the dishwasher! The speakers were loud enough to drown it out, without being overly loud and without any distortion. (They also have holes in the back for wall mounting, if you are so inclined.) Since they are indoor/outdoor I'm not concerned with any splatter or mess from being in the kitchen, because I should be able to just wipe it off.

Then I took the 4th one out to the garage to see if it would really work as well through walls, and far removed from the transmitter, and I have to say the sound is just as good and clear outside in the garage as in the house. I'm really impressed.

I watched some hockey, listened to some music and part of a movie and the sound was excellent and crisp on all of them.

It is a little annoying that you have to turn each one on individually, and adjust the volume every time (when you turn them off it resets to the lowest setting), but on the other hand, I don't necessarily want them all on ALL the time, either, so it does allow me some versitility with the volume depending on what I'm watching and what I'm doing. I like that it came with multiple ends, too, so you can plug it into lots of different things with ease.

For the price, I don't think they can be beat. They sound just as good, or better, than any full-fledged home theatre system I've heard. They are 900mhz, and most of the "in a box" sets you can get in the couple hundred dollar range are 1000mhz, so that aren't too far behind. They serve our purpose perfectly (adding volume without distortion, and getting sound evenly through the living area) without being a big hassle or too expensive. For the casual user who just wants their TV to sound better, I don't think there's a better option at all. I would highly recommend these to anyone. Even my husband, who's the deaf one (LOL), and was pushing for new speakers, was really satisfied when he got home tonight and heard them.

Since I've only had them a few hours I can't speak for durability or longevity, but for the price, even if they only lasted a year or so they'd still be worth it. - Great Price - Outdoor Speakers - Outdoor Wireless Speakers - Outdoor Wireless Speaker'

Overnight Diapers - pampers, disposable

I'd been a loyal Pampers consumer since my daughter was in size newborn Swaddlers and the prospect of their Dry Max technology enticed me when it was introduced. My daughter was at the age where overnight diapers had become a necessity and I loved the notion that the Baby Dry line had been improved upon.

I learned, or rather she learned, very quickly that Dry Max was unfortunately not an improvement. She was wearing a size 3 at the time and began to wake up every morning soaked from mid-chest to knees. I assumed that she needed a size 4 for overnight and while the leaks didn't occur as regularly, there were still 2-4 mornings a week when she'd wake up soaked to the bone. I had purchased a small package and decided that once I had used the last one I was going to switch brands; I should have done so sooner.

The first thing that I noticed one morning was that the left seam of her Extra Protection diaper had come undone. There were small gel beads all over her bedding and her, and when I removed her pajama bottoms and diaper I was in shock. Her stomach, bottom and thighs were covered in red welts with some areas more inflamed than others and others that had the appearance of a typical but severe diaper rash. I had never seen anything like it; she screamed when I wiped, screamed when she sat, screamed when she moved. Motrin had no effect so I made an appointment with her pediatrician for that afternoon and he too was shocked. As it turned out it wasn't welts nor was it a rash - she had suffered caustic burns from the Dry Max beads.

I was livid and called Pampers immediately. They in turn asked for a release of her medical records for that appointment and I gave her pediatrician the okay to do so. I received a letter and 52 coupons for free diapers, their obvious attempt to bring me back as a consumer. I haven't purchased a single Pampers product since.

Please use this with caution. My daughter isn't the only one who this happened to and that in and of itself is a very unsettling fact.

These diapers work great. No more changing onesies first thing in the morning. Only thing is if the jellies start to come out there is a big mess on your hands but this rarely happens. I've been using these on my twins since they turned 5 months. They also work great if you are going on long trips.

we got this larger diaper because we thought it would hold more.

he was filling up the size 4.

at night we put him on the extra protection size 4.

he still filled it up.

so we moved up to size 5.

it does not seem to hold much more.

sometimes it gets so full a few blobs get on his clothes.

hes only 31 inches and 23 pounds.

I wish I had read reviews of these before I purchased them. My 20 month old wears a size 4. This diaper claims that it lasts up to 12 hours. Not true! The 1st night it lasted for 7 hours and the 2nd night it lasted 9 hours. The diaper did not just leak it exploded---the filling inside the diaper was all over! All over my daughter, her crib, and jammies. The diaper fell apart at the front opening and gel beads where everywhere!

I did call Pampers to complain. They seemed very aware of the problem and tried to offer me 2 ten dollar off coupons. To which I told them I won't be purchasing their products anymore. So instead they are mailing a $20 check. It still doesn't make me completely happy since I had to change/wash sheets and give my daughter a bath at 3am!

I've been using these diapers for about six months for my now 16 month old son. We cloth diaper during the day but I needed a super absorbent disposable for my heavy-wetter and these have been great! I have not had any leaks and they fit my son's slim frame well. The diapers have a lot of absorbency in the front which is perfect for boys and/or stomach sleepers. My son still wakes up at night but I no longer have to change soggy, leaky diapers in the middle of the night which makes it so much easier to get him back to sleep. I will continue to use these and plan on using them for my next boy on the way.

I've been using the Huggies Overnights and they are great --- 5 stars in my opinion. Unfortunately, I purchased these on Amazon because I have a Subscribe and Save account and I got 108 Pampers Overnights for $25! I put them on my son last night and this morning when he woke, his pj's were all wet and the diaper was saggy and messy! I'll just use them in the daytime. If you're looking for an overnight diaper, Huggies work great for us. They are so much thicker.

Had to buy these instead of the Huggies Overnights because our local grocery store was sold out of the Huggies (now I know why!). These are absolutely AWFUL. We used them for two nights on our 1-year-old son. The first night he had a few gels on him - no biggie, he had drank a lot that day and peed a lot overnight. But the 2nd time we used them, the seam on the left leg let go, and when I opened his sleeper that morning, his entire left leg was FULL of urine-soaked gels. I had an absolute MESS. I packaged the rest of the diapers up and gave them to a friend, and bought a box of Huggies Overnights. NEVER AGAIN will I buy these diapers. - Disposable - Pampers - Baby - Diaper'

I use these battery boxes on my boat and they work great. Excellent quality. Really think plastic walls. Protects my batteries from being exposed to water and gas. If you are a boater, these are a must have and very affordable. I really like that they are made in the USA! I purchased some cheap china boxes before these and the cracked within a year. Includes a nice mounting hardware kit for installing the batteries. All around well made product. Recommend. Kindle 3 Covers - kindle jacket, kindle covers

Amazon seems to take forever to ship this case compared to other cases.

This case is sturdy, it's made of some type of canvas material and has enough padding to protect the kindle. The inside is lined with some type of microfleece material so your screen wouldn't get scratched.

After having the kindle without a jacket, I've realized that i like reading it naked but after holding it up in this case, i could go either way. it's lightweight although you'll still notice a slight difference in weight when reading in this compared to holding the kindle by itself.

I like that it zips around to give complete protection from dust and other particulates that could slip in.

I folded the cover round the back easily and was able to zip it. however, you have to keep adjusting the zipper once you convert it back to the normal way. I still like that you can fold around and zip it because it allows me to hold the kindle with one hand and read.

The power cord and AC adaptor fit into the pouch in front without any issues and i was able to zip it without any problems. it does bulge but it bulges a little outward and none towards the inside where the kindle is at. I didn't like reading with the cord and AC adaptor in because i feel it adds a little amount of weight (it might not be noticeable to you). I think it's definately good for transporting those cords.

There's some type of pocket at the back where the m-edge illuminator light can fit. it has another slot underneath that. maybe you can slip a business card or a note card there or perhaps a car key.

Zipping is a tad tight around the corners but it's not a pain.

The only thing i have some issues with is that the fastener at the top left corner feels loose but then i've given my kindle the shaking test where i held it over my bed and shook it up and down once and it slid out of the top left corner. That fastener right there feels loose so i think i'll have to exchange it.

I got this because while i love to read my kindle naked, but there are times and places where i want to read it in a case and i don't want a cover that permanently attaches to the kindle. I wanted something versatile so i could go back and forth as i please. This case seems to fit the bill. If you need a strong and sturdy case for transporting your kindle, this is it. if you get one where you don't have a defective fastener at the top left corner, then you're in good shape. I believe one of the previous two reviewers had the same issue with his case. It may be a manufacturing defect, i don't know. Don't let that deter you from buying this. I'll update when amazon sends the replacement. Hopefully, the left corner for that one fits well.

Did i say the navy is a lovely blue color?!

Peace. M-Edge Latitude Kindle Jacket, Black (Fits 6" Display, Latest Generation Kindle)

After not being able to get this product shipped to Aussie with Amazon , I purchased this jacket from the people at M-Edge where service was brilliant.

The cover feels so nice, not bulky at all.

I love the idea of being able to zip it up and put it in my handbag without getting it scratched.

The zips are excellent quality and move very freely.

It holds my K3 very securely, is made of excellent quality materials and is an overall superb product.

I have given it 5 stars as i just cannot find a negative about it.

I had this for my Nook and now I have it for my 2 Kindle's (3rd generation). The first one i got was perfect. The 2nd one (for my 2nd Kindle) had a problem securing the Kindle in the top left corner. M-Edge's brilliant customer service replaced it immediately and the new one is great. I think they should use the same fasteners at the top as they use on the bottom, not sure why they don't as they feel more secure, but it's still the best Kindle case out there. I love it and would 100% recommend it.

As soon as I found this cover available for preorder on amazon, I ordered it. It arrived yesterday and I'm delighted with it. I have the M-Edge Latitude cover for my Kindle 2, and was disappointed not to find it available when I ordered my Kindle 3G Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 6" Display, Graphite, 3G Works Globally - Latest Generation.

I bought a nice plum colored carrying case instead, and didn't regret it. That case protected my Kindle from being dirtied (or worse) by spilled food at a cookout. But that kind of case has a serious drawback for me. Because I have to remove the Kindle from it in order to read, I have two things to keep track of: the Kindle and the case.

Part of the genius of this M-Edge Latitude Kindle jacket, is that it stays attached to the Kindle at all times. I just flip it open to use the Kindle, then flip the front cover back into place and zip it closed when I'm done. There's nothing separate to slide off my lap while I'm reading, or to be placed somewhere else while the Kindle's in use. And then located again when I'm done. (If I'm reading at home, chances are I'll finish a Kindle session in a different room from where I started it, meaning I have to go fetch the case from wherever I was when I took the Kindle out of it.)

The newest generation Kindle is the first one (I've also owned the K1 and the K2) that I don't mind reading when it's not fastened into a cover. It's small and light enough, and the back is grippable enough, that I don't fear it slipping out of my grasp. After spending a few weeks reading my new Kindle that way, I wasn't sure how I'd like going back to using it in a jacket. But this jacket is lightweight and snug-fitting, and doesn't get in the way. I'm adjusting to it just fine.

The other very important aspect of this Kindle jacket, is the all-around protection it provides when closed. I can slip my Kindle, in this jacket, into a purse or tote bag with no fear that some stray object might slip into the case through an open edge, and damage the Kindle.

The K2 version of the M-Edge Latitude was a perfect solution for carrying and using my Kindle 2. I'm equally pleased with the new M-Edge Latitude for my third-generation Kindle. - Kindle Accessory - Kindle Jacket - M-edge - Kindle Covers'
