Childrens Camera - kids camera, kids digital camera

This was a just right gift for my 3 year old nephew. He has been clicking away at everything imaginable. Very easy to use. Very durable. It has dropped a few times. The only con- you have to watch where the light is if not there will be a glare. My nephew adapted very well and did many retakes. Digital Blue Disney Pix Jr. Digital Camera - Cars

I am a photographer and have a 3 1/2 year old son who loves to take photographs too. So I thought that having his own camera for Christmas would be so much fun for him. When I saw this camera, I thought it was a little pricey but boy am I glad that I bought it. It is worth every penny!! When the packaged arrived I opened it to make sure it worked properly before storing it away for Christmas. I couldn't put this camera down!!!!!!! It is so darn adorable! It's sturdy, the design is precious, the fact you can add Characters to pictures is awesome and perfect size for his little hands. I have no idea how I am going to be able to wait until Christmas to give it to him!!! - Kids Camera - Digital Camera For Kids - Kids Digital Camera'

Recumbent Exercise Bike

After months of trying to decide if we should buy an exercise bike, we finally bit the bullet. We went right down to Dick's sporting goods and even though they didn't have one on display, they did have one int he back. We bought the Schwinn 240 due to it being one of the newest models. Some of the things we really liked better were minor, but made the difference to us. The number of different programs were higher than the other models. Being able to remember a user's information was also a huge positive from other models where every time a different user uses the equipment you have to reset all your information. The cup holder not being under the seat but on the console made more sense and having the basket to store magazines and things just seemed neater. It took about 1.5 hours to assemble. Hint: A couple of the parts were already on the bike which was confusing when comparing to the parts list. The model is nice looking, smaller than our elliptical and easy to move around with the wheels. I haven't had it long enough yet to know how it will hold up, but it's very sturdy, very quiet and seems like it will last for a long time. Schwinn 240 Recumbent Exercise Bike

OVERVIEW: The Schwinn 240 is an excellent recumbent exercise bike. My remarks address problems with shipping and assembly.

FREE SHIPPING VIA PILOT: It works, but, as other reviewers have elaborated, has snags. I ordered the Schwinn 240 on 11/22. Its delivery originated in Hayward CA, 26 miles south of my home. The bike was shipped 11/23 to Phoenix AZ, apparently because Pilot is headquartered there. The bike was shipped back to Hayward, arriving 11/27, with the box damaged in transit. Delivery was scheduled 11/30 for 1:59:48 PM. The bike finally arrived about 7:30PM 11/30. Damage was only to the box.

INSTRUCTION BOOKLETS:

(1) The printed materials supplied are in English and French. Supposedly instructions in Spanish are available from Schwinn's website but I could not locate them. Register the bike on Schwinn's website in the Customer Service section.

(2) The printed assembly and use booklets are 5.5x8.5 inches (WxL) and are printed on high quality glossy paper that may well outlast the bike. Pictures in the assembly booklet are small, only about 40% of the page; about 60% of each page is blank! The small pictures and minuscule labels are hard to read, so get out your magnifying glass. Schwinn should take a cue from IKEA, which has instructions with large diagrams printed on cheap 8.5x11-inch paper. I assembled the bike using a magnifying glass, repeatedly cursing Schwinn.

(3) But here is the solution that I found *after* assembling the bike and on starting to peruse the equally hard-to-read use manual. Go to Schwinn's website and download the PDFs of the assembly and use manuals (these PDFs are also available on this Amazon page!). The pages will print out on 8.5x11-inch paper with larger diagrams and print (closer to IKEA quality). The written instructions are in English (front) and French (back), so just print out the language needed.

(4) Schwinn's written instructions (both English and French) are woefully inadequate. Hence I offer some detailed elaborations for assembly:

TIME REQUIRED: At least an hour to unpack the parts, organize them, clean up, and recycle the waste. Roughly two hours to assemble the bike properly plus a bit more time to make personal adjustments (seat, pedal straps, console, etc.) on the assembled bike.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY POINTS:

(1) The screws, washers, and other small parts come attached to two pieces of cardboard, the parts held in place by blister plastic. Carefully remove the parts and organize them in the same layout as on the cardboard. Do not discard the cardboard until after the bike is assembled.

(2) Before each assembly step doublecheck diagrams so that you do not install a part backwards or upside down.

(3) When connecting two parts carefully align screws with screw holes, finger tighten, and then tool-tighten alternate holes to avoid torquing a part (that is, as one would alternately tighten lug nuts when replacing a flat tire on a vehicle).

(4) Tighten screws in a clockwise and loosen counterclockwise, or remember the ditty: Righty tighty, lefty loosey.

EXPANDED ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

(1) Attach stabilizers to main frame: This step is easier with a second person helping to align parts. The larger stabilizer goes in the rear, the smaller one, with wheels forward, goes in the front. Record the model and serial number from the bottom of the rear stabilizer before installation.

(2) Attach side handlebars to seat frame: This step is fairly clear, though it is awkward to juggle the parts being attached. The silver heart-rate-sensors should face up.

(3) Attach seat pads to seat frame assembly: This is also a juggling step for one person. The seat back has eight holes for the four screws. There is no explanation in the assembly manual but presumably the lower set of holes is for persons of average height whereas the upper set of holes is for very tall persons.

(4) Slide seat assembly onto seat rail: An insert requires that the seat assembly (item 13) held in place by seven screws (these are loosely tightened) be first removed,

(5) Connect heart rate cable to seat assembly: A simple step.

(6) Install seat rail bracket: Note the proper orientation of seat bracket (item 10).

(7) Install seat assembly to frame assembly: This step is easier with a second person helping to align parts. The seat bracket (item 10) goes inside the seat tube. It may have arrived temporarily but improperly installed outside the tube. The electronic cable should be completely inserted in the rear seat tube to avoid crimping the cable.

(8) Install console mast to frame assembly: Be sure the cables are properly oriented and not inverted. Male prongs couple to female receptacles; note the tabs for orientation and push with lots of force to couple securely. I found it useful to tie a string to the handlebar ends of the cables in case they fall into the console tube (item 14) during its insertion into the flywheel base. It is easier to insert (loosely tighten) the two side screws first and then the two front screws because the latter might fall inadvertently into the chamber, in which case their retrieval would be tedious. In inserting the four rubber caps do not over-push them into the aforenoted chamber but carefully with a screwdriver put the inner flange of the rubber cap inside the hole.

(9) Attach upright handlebar to console mast: be sure the handlebars are properly centered on the stem; otherwise the plastic cap (item 9) will not fit properly.

(10) Attach console bracket to console mast: Stick the cables through the console bracket; remove any string. The hex bolt (item 3) and nut (item K) go through the lower pivot holes. Use the two tools depicted to tighten the hex bolt and nut so that the bracket pivots freely. The carriage bolt (item F) and plastic knob (item M) go through the upper adjustable arc opening.

(11) Connect console cables to console: Note orientation of the tabs being connecting. Be sure the cables are securely attached,

(12) Attach console to console bracket: Don't waste time looking for the four screws. They are attached to the rear of the console and require removal before the required attachment.

(13) Install pedals on crank arms: The petals and straps are labeled left (L) or right (R). Note that the left pedal is tightened counterclockwise (not the usual clockwise to tighten). The logo on the strap goes on top with the larger number of holes toward the outside. Depending on storage, one or both straps may be curved the opposite wrong way; beware.

(14) Connect power cord: A simple step.

(15) Attach water bottle holder to console mast: Watch orientation of parts: black piece outside with the two large holder arms facing up; red piece inside with bottom support facing down.

(XX) Final adjustments: Doublecheck that all screws and bolts are adequately tightened. Remove the protective film from the console and sides of the flywheel container. Level bike. Adjust seat and pedal straps. Finally adjust tilt of console for maximum legibility (in my case tilted all the way forward). Program console (see use manual, which also needs more detailed instructions). WARNING: Do NOT unplug the power cord (the transformer stays warm--an energy vampire!) or else your saved settings will be lost. It would be nice if the bike had a memory feature to preserve settings as do digital cameras and other electronic devices.'

Replacement Parts

This faucet looks beautiful in our remodeled bathroom - very sleek. It seems very good quality and the handles have a great feel when turned. Installation of the drain assembly was challenging, though. And we didn't realize the under-the-counter part of the faucet was not included when we order the faucet trim kit (above-the-counter). So we had to wait a few more days to order that (most people probably already know this!). But we really like everything about the faucet now that it is installed. Moen T6420BN Eva Two-Handle High Arc Bathroom Faucet without Valve, Brushed Nickel

THis is a beautiful faucet that I bought for our recent bathroom remodel. I have all Moen faucets and found them to be very good. I checked several web sites and Amazon had the best price. One word of warning however, you may need to buy the rough valves in ordet to install them. Check with your plumber if you need the rough valves, because they are not included and have to be bought separately.'

all in all, this game is worth a buy. i was intrigued when i first heard about this title. the imagine software seems to be doing great on the DS platform, with only a small release of their games for Wii. so i wanted to know what all the hype was about. at first it was hard to understand how to work the controls. but luckily, the beginning stages act a tutorial to help you learn the controls. after a short while, they became intuitive and i was breezing through the game. you can play freestyle or you can enter a project runway competition of sorts. freestyle lets you take your time and dress up the models any way you like, do their makeup and hair, and see your final creation as they strut on the runway. competition mode is you competing against other wanna-be designers and each round the lowest scoring person is eliminated. the tasks within each round are timed and incorporate a fashion theme, so you pretty much have to style the model as you're instructed. while this can sound boring, they made it interesting by giving you a few choices within the design guidelines and a time limit, so no time to overthink anything. this goes for clothes as well as hair and makeup. sometimes you'll be pleased with the overall look you've created, and sometimes you'll feel bad you made the model look so bad...i know i did. after you've gone to the trouble of doing up your model, you now have to walk her on the runway. you can do this with either the wiimote and nunchucks, or the wii balance board. i can tell you that both were taxing. this part of the game is probably my least fave. it all seemed like an afterthought. no matter how hard and fast you fling the remotes or how well you copied the moves on the balance board, somehow the moves wouldn't always register correctly, therefore causing your model to misstep on the runway. how dreadful. i guess i can live with that, but honestly i get frustrated with this part of the game. i would say the wiimote and nunchucks read better than the balance board, but you can come to your own conclusions about that if you have both options available. if not, you're not missing anything, so please don't go out in search of a balance board for this purpose alone. as you successfully complete more competitions, you unlock more styles to try on your model in free play. this is a great game for anyone interested in fashion. i would suggest this game for kids who are old enough to read. only because in parts of the game the dialogue is read aloud and other parts you have to read the dialogue yourself. that also made no sense to me. either voice all of the characters or none at all. Imagine Fashion Party

I'm 38 and we bought this for my 9 year-old step daughter and I play it just as often as she does. I like the free form play and the competitions in which you have to make certain choices for the model. We do have problems with the Wii remotes registering correctly on the screen, but have been able to overlook that and keep playing. The possibilities are endless. Different lengths for skirts, dresses, and pants. Plenty of styles to chose from and colors from solids to stripes to patterns. There are four different cat-walks to chose from for your model to walk down. Plenty of hair styles and colors to chose from as well. It has accessories as well such as shoes, handbags, jackets, gloves and stockings. If you have a little girl that likes to play dress-up with her dolls and plays video games, this is a good game to buy.

I bought this game for my 6yr old. She loves it! It is a bit tricky at first to figure out how to handle the remote but it is after all, a game :) There are many levels and different types of challenges. The graphics are pretty good and the music is upbeat. Overall, a great purchase!

My 13-year-old and her friends enjoy this Wii game. Sometimes the catwalk/runway show at the end doesn't have the correct outfit that my daughter has worked to create. She can't figure out why this happens, but I have seen the girls spend lots of time having fun with this Wii game.

I requested this game 1 or 2 years ago for Christmas, expecting a fun clothes designing and styling game. I also thought it would be better than Babyz Party because it cost about $10 more. Well, I was apparently wrong. The game features the player (you) in a fashion contest. Actually, I think they call you Mary.(My name is not Mary, but oh well.) There's even dialouge between your opponents .There's also a mean, snobby girl. Ehh. That stuff can be good in books...but I would rather do more work on the fashion. But anyway, heres the gameplay:

-cut clothes and pick colors and details for them

-put on makeup

-style hair

They really don't let you be creative either. The only time you can do your own fashion is in the free mode with outfits, which sadly isn't that fun. Neither is the gameplay. In the story mode they give you limited pieces of clothing and colors to choose from because there's different themes. Yes, that's how real fashion shows go, with a certain theme, collection, whatever you call it, but it's a video game. I only played the game once or twice also. Strangely, I thought about playing Imagine Fashion Party once or twice to cut some digital clothes, (weird description, sorry) , but found myself playing one of the Paper Mario's instead. So, as you can see, from my point of view I suggest you buy another game instead.

I got the Imagine Fashion party game for my eight year-old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. She said playing it compares to the DS Fashion games she also loves. It was a great purchase for a great price. I highly suggest it for little girls who like to play fashionistas. - Wii - Dance - Kids - Fashion Design'

Striper - fishing, lures

When a friend gave me a copy of "On The Run, I figured that I would skim through it and put it with all the other books that I'll never read again. After all, what do I care about striped bass, or the people who fish for them. I'm never wrong about these things. But this time, I wasn't as right as I'd like to be.This book isn't about fishing. It's about a journey taken by a man who loves to fish and his contacts with a group of similarly-minded and sometimes unusual people. It's very well written and organized by a man with a great eye for detail and a fine sense of humor. Even better, it is replete with facts I never knew. In short, this book is a real page turner. ( started reading it in my porcelain study and only put it down after my feet and legs fell asleep). This book is a definite keeper. On the Run: An Angler's Journey Down the Striper Coast

I just finished Dave DiBenedetto's very readable and informative book. As someone who has never gone fishing, I found it so refreshing. He did talk about his fascination with the awesome Stripers throughout the volume, -BUT, he weaves into the recounting of the stripers a lot of history, humor, local culture, unforgettable characters, and the flavor of familiar and unfamiliar venues up and down the east coast. Couldn't wait to turn the page and meet the next fun group of fanatical personalities on his trip.Dave has quite a gift for keeping the narrative moving without losing his focus on the prize stipers.I thought his subtle references to family members made him a warm, fuzzy author. He is someone with whom I would feel very comfortable sitting down before a roaring fireplace, with a bit of refreshment and just swapping stories... -starting with stripers.

I consider myself a reader and a fisherman and I thought this book was super. DiBenedetto takes a great topic and uses a combination of nature, adventure, history and crazy characters to produce a book that is immensely entertaining. While hardcore fishermen will most definitely enjoy DiBenedetto's experiences and insights, just about everyone else is sure to be equally captivated (At one point I had to wrestle the book away from my girlfriend). DiBenedetto's smooth prose, upbeat tempo and abundance of material has resulted in a book that is as exciting as it is interesting.

A truly enjoyable read, especially for someone who has spent no more than two hours of her life fishing. I originally bought the book for my husband, an avid reader and fly-fisherman, but after scanning the first couple of pages, I couldn't put it down. The story of DiBenedetto's journey down the East Coast is not only entertaining; it speaks of the rich history of a much-admired fish. With his fresh approach to writing full of captivating experiences, DiBenedetto is sure to reel you in from the very first page.

The best thing about this book is that it's more than a good fishing book, it's a good book. Period. Part angling exploration, part travelogue, part exploration of a rich subculture, this book succeeds because it transcends bounds and genres. I found it well-written, surprising, lively, and full of insightful humor. On the Run made me think that even though I'm not an avid fisherman I'd love to meet the fascinating folk who are. Most deftly, DiBenedetto makes me feel like I know the fish, the striped bass. In that way, he's part John McPhee. In other ways, he's part (no more-I won't get carried away) John Steinbeck. Do check this one out.

How refreshing to read a book combining someone's passion for a sport with a natural phenomenon such as the striped bass migration. This book is as much about Mr. DeBenedetto's love of fishing and the striped bass migration as it is about a wonderful road trip. Maybe I'm partial because I caught a few beautiful stipers off of Nauset Beach (Cape Cod) a few years back but objectively....this is an excellent book.

An enjoyable travel log about "fishing" and life on the road. Compact defining details of each trip, well distilled. Treatment of the "Guides" is never fawning or promotional, as a fly fishing for Bass '01 title. The events of Sept. 11 were dealt with without distracting from the story.

On The Run is comprised of a series of great fishing stories wrapped around a collection of classic, and not so classic, fishing characters. While folowing the striper migration down the east coast, David Di Benedetto has captured the spirit of the fishing community. A little danger mixed in with a lot of locl knowledge, make this a priceless guide to fishing stripers. I read this book in two sittings, so don't start unless you have some time to spend reading.Di Benedetto has uncovered a world of dedicated, make that fanatic, striper fishermen who share a respect for the fish and the environment. The book is rich in descriptions of over-the-top fishermen who live the sport and who share their knowledge about catching fish. This is an excellent read for the off-season when all you can do is dream about next season's runs.

If you want to get a good pump for the fall run or the start of the season this is the book for you. Right from the start it has you and doesn't lewt you go. As a Surf Fisherman on Long Island it got me going, the only thing is that's only january and I have to wait untill april. - Fishing - Lures'

Lanterns - lights, lanterns

This is a very useful item, and the best of Coleman's mini lantern to date that I've tried. The frosted lens on this unit smooths out light emitted from the LED. The result is a soft, much more even light output that everyone will find pleasing. The adjust-ability of the light output is a real plus. On the lowest setting you can use it in the tent at night, or turn it on high for more light at dinnertime. The unit is small and light enough for backpacking unless you're a gram weenie.

I also have Coleman's micropacker with Cree LED that is priced similarly to this one. It has a clear lens and puts off way too many annoying artifacts, much like a poorly made discoball. Trust me, this is a much better light. I also have their basic yellow micropacker with LEDs that has about a $10.00 price tag. Its a good basic unit for those on a budget. But of those three I have tried, this model is the best and most versatile. Coleman 3AA High-Tech LED Mini Lantern

I bought a pair of these to use while tent camping. They are small but do put out a lot of light in a pleasing soft pattern. The dimmer is a nice touch allowing for longer battery life too. They seem well build and of good quality. The ring to hang them from the inside of a tent or a tree branch is made of metal. The lantern's brightness is adjustable with a large ring around the base of the plastic semi-transparent globe. It has six fixed brightnesses ranging from full to a very dim glow. The construction feels very solid and the fit between parts is good. They are not waterproof but look like they'd survive just fine out in the rain. The bottom is not sealed nor is the brightness ring. The on/off button is covered in rubber and is very simple to use. I've used these lanterns several times and they've functioned very well, some non-brand ones I picked up from a mail-order sporting goods store fared far worse with two of the three having their switch fail and the mounting rings breaking.

I bought this light to use as a general light when camping. I have 3 young kids, and they are constantly taking and playing with my flashlights. The kids are not always gentle, and this one looks and feels like it will survive them rather well.

The light output on fresh batteries seems rather decent. I have not let it run down to see how the light tracks with battery drain, but I have yet to find anything with LEDs that doesn't fade when the batteries are worn down. The light is more that useable on high. It managed to light up my 400sq ft bedroom without much trouble. This light is more than adequate to use as an emergency light, and it throws a really nice 360 degree light pattern. On low, it would make a good tent light/night light. It doesn't weight much, so it could be hung in the center of a tent without any issue. This is definately a decent light, and a good purchase for under $20. I have over a dozen LED lights (and I'm picky), and I would recommend this one to anybody looking for a well made light.

I also bought the Rayovac Sportman 300 lumen lantern. I alway have equated Rayovac with cheap build quality, but this lantern isn't too bad. Anyway, the low setting on the Rayovac is about equal to the high setting on this Coleman. The Rayovac definately beats it in brightness on the high setting, but I doubt it would survive one night with the kids. It is heavy (due to 3 D cells), but it does put out a fair amount of light. If you want the brightest light, buy the Rayovac. Both are good lights, but the Coleman is more stout and seems built to survive being dropped.

Wow, I was impressed by this lantern. I am a flashaholic with dozens of flashlights, all LED, from $100 lights to bargain lights like this. This light was a fantastic surprise. My only other small LED lantern is a Black Diamond Orbit which is more expensive and runs on 4xAAA cells instead of 3xAA. 3xAA have roughly twice the energy as 4xAAA. This light is much better. It weighs a tiny bit more and is larger, but build quality is almost as good and functionality is superior. The added height allows better distribution of light. The Coleman is much brighter on high and dimmer at the low setting. At the low setting it can guide your way for over 100 hours. At the bright setting it will bathe a room or campsite in a decent amount of light. The beam is relatively free of artifacts. I cannot detect any of the flickering of pulse width modulation that I have seen in other multi-setting lights. I would have preferred a slightly warmer tint LED, but this one is not overly blue. I was surprised by the build quality at this price. The dial adjustment with 6 settings is great, no cycling through levels that are too bright or dim, and no stupid blink mode. Simple and elegant design. Perfect for power outages or winter backpacking where the days or short and you want the luxury of a lighted area without much weight. I am going to order more. These are a great fit with eneloop rechargeables or the "Amazon Basics" low self discharge rechargeables. GET ONE.

Loved it so much will be buying another one. Love the fact that it is small, uses double A batteries (which we have to carry in the camper for mini flashlights and music player anyway), love the adjustable level of light, love the diffuser so placing the lamp near you does not blind you, and love it's ability to light a pretty large area for such a small lantern. Also, batteries seem to last quite well.

Ordered two in anticipation of the next power outage. They are very small but seem to give off a lot of light. Easy to carry around and I like the the metal loop at the top that you can use if you want to hang it. Also I like that it takes AAA batteries. It seems during a power outage all the D batteries get bought up but there are always AAA still left in the store.

I love this mini lantern. Do not get this if you need to light up an entire camp ground. This is a mini lantern that only takes 3AA batteries. The metal loop at the top works great with an S-clip on my bunk. There are several levels from lo to high for this lantern. So far I have about 50 hours mixed between lo and hi..and it still going strong. Great for reading or when you do not want to turn your high power 4D lanterns on. - Lanterns - Lights'

Cookbook Holder

I purchased this product in the expectation that it was rather large (per the picture showing a big book resting on it). Unfortunately it only holds books at a depth of 1.5 inches, which is useless for the programming books, and other textbooks I own. Also the stand doesn't have a lock, it is instead combined with the page holders on the front to create a rather cumbersome mechanism. The lack of any real helpful adjustments also made this purchase a regretful one. If you are going to use books of any real thickness, look elsewhere as I know I just wasted $10. Fellowes Wire Study Stand, Metal, 9.5 x 6 x 5.5 Inches, Silver (10024)

I was looking for a bookstand that would not take up too much space on my desk at work, could easily be folded for storage when not in use, and on which I could read both professional magazines and my Amazon Kindle. This unit does the trick, but has its shortcomings.

I have the following comments:

1.There is no practical way to adjust the angle at which books or magazines are read. The only way to decrease the angle is by moving the back legs of this unit wider apart, but doing so moves the front legs closer together to the point where you cannot place a book on them. The reading angle is a bit more than I would like, but I have gotten used to it.

2. This unit works fine on a small hardcover book (9x6x1), but not as well on a paperback book of the same size. The reason is that a hardcover book stays open more easily by itself, and the front legs on this unit do not keep a small paperback book fully open; you will have to press it with your hands to keep it fully open.

3. There is no problem with a larger paperback book (10x7.5x1.25) since the weight of the book is enough to keep it open.

4. This unit does not really work with any book thicker than 2 inches.

There are other bookstands that have angle adjustments and hold books more easily, particularly larger books. However, those bookstands are more expensive, take up more space on your desk, and do not store as easily as this unit. Therefore you need to decide what your needs are. While this unit has its shortcomings, it is relatively inexpensive and easy to handle.

My primary use is reading my Kindle and magazines. For that this unit is adequate.

I am a law student and was getting sick of leaning over my books all the time. I bought this and it has worked well. My books fit into it and it is portable. Sure if I designed a book holder it would be a bit different, but I didn't and this one serves its purpose.'

Usb Car Charger - usb adapter, usb car charger

Bought this to power both mine and my wife's Droid Incredibles and the ipod nano at the same time with room for more accessories in the future, but it couldn't even charge a single incredible by itself. The the phone's charging indicator would turn on and off repeatedly. It could charge the nano, but if you tried to play it while charging on this thing, it would produce a loud screechy-whiny noise. Don't know whether it was some kind of ground-loop interference or just dirty power. RMA'd. 5-in-1 Auto Charger. 4-Port USB Car Charger and 1 12V DC Cigarette Socket - Great for iPhones, iPods, GPS, PSP, Cell Phones, Radar Detectors, and Many More

WHY NOT 5-STARS:

I feel bad for taking off a whole star for this - the car adapter slot in this adapter gave me a bit of wiggle room. It holds the DC charger tightly. Whenever the device is plugged in all the way (which is easy to tell!), it has power. But at first it made me a little nervous the way I could wiggle a plug around inside the adapter's big slot, when the plug doesn't wiggle in the car's power slot. Regardless of this, I haven't seen any danger of the plug falling out of the car adapter, and power output stays continuous.

It comes OEM - no manual, directions, nothing. A tiny piece of paper about how to replace the fuse would have helped immensely.

But Wow. I've had this almost a month, and I'm surprised by how well it works! It meets my needs perfectly.

Had some fuse issues from trying to install an inverter that was too big for my car's adapter, and there was a short I had to find and take care of.

The little magenta fuse is a standard, very small wattage ATM fuse - just like in many cars. A key is all it takes to pop the fuse out without damaging it - a knife *will* cut the plastic of the fuse and ruin it. Its easy removal really helped for discerning that the short wasn't in the slot itself!

My car suggests that no more than 180W be plugged into the power adapter - with two phones, a gps navigator, an actively-used 90W laptop charger, and a bluetooth headset all charging this puppy didn't blow a fuse (neither its own, nor my cars).

I did accidentally shred that small fuse trying to get it out, before I realized I didn't need a knife. The local Autozone only had fuses that let me step up to a 5W. This has been safe, and hasn't damaged the car, the slot, the adapter, nor anything plugged in. I guess the car charger slot isn't on that fuse, because I've been plugging a 90W laptop charger into it.

Great product for a great price!

I hardwired a 12v socket and hidden it in the car. I have my Garmin traffic reciever plugged into the main socket as well as a mini USB and 2 x USB extention cables (to allow passengers to charge up devices). I'm not sure why others are having issues but it powers and charges my EVO 4G and GPS just fine. Simultaneously. I've even used another connection to charge my work phone and it charged fine. thumbs up from me.

This is a great unit for charging numerous items in the car. MY GPS can stay plugged in while I charge my iPod and phone with USB outlets to spare. It's slightly bulky but def reasonably sized for what it can do and feels very sturdy and well-built. Would recommend to anyone.

I used this with my GPS, my itouch, my daughters shuffle, my blackberry and USB powered speakers simultaneously.

No problem!!! It feels a little brittle, but I have 2 of them and the other one worked fine also.

It is only a month old.

I am getting another one for traveling.

Seems to work ok except I have a small 12V led light that normally plugs into my exsiting ciggy lighter to charge all the time. This ciggy opening has no fingers to grip the barrel and my light has no 'spring fingers'. I've experienced this as a common problem with different devices, some fit and others fall out.

If your ciggy device plug has 'springs' on the side it should work. The barrel is completely smooth. I'll keep it in the glove box for USB charging use as needed.

I don't care if the USB charging rates are different as long as it charges. I got it for emergency use.

I was using this to charge my phones and run something off the cigarette lighter at the same time. It melted! Got so hot I couldn't handle it to pull it out. Isn't that what the build in fuse is supposed to prevent? Don't buy this.

I received the 5-in-1 one charger earlier this week. My new car has a SINGLE 12v accessory plug in the front, and I needed to keep several items charged all at once. Unfortunately it couldn't handle the load from just three devices: Laptop computer (12v), iPhone (USB) and Blackberry (USB). Granted the laptop probably pulls more current than an average device, but it charges just fine when it's the only device connected. All three quickly blew the 5-in-1's 3A mini fuse. A replacement fuse blew just as quickly again. I thought about replacing the 3A fuse with a 5A but decided against it. Fortunately my car has a standard 110v plug in the rear, so the laptop can charge there (not ideally located, but it works). No problems running just USB devices from the 5-in-1; now I charge my portable GPS in addition to the cellphone, for a total of three USB devices - Usb Car Charger - Usb Charger - Adapters - Usb Adapter'

I thoroughly enjoyed receiving this product in a very quickly time and manner. I love zebra print and it was very easy to assemble and actually came with other very neat prizes inside! Great deal and great product. Zebra Skin Design Snap-On Case for BlackBerry Torch 9800

Item arrived in timely manner and looks like photo/display. I'm pleased that the case offers protection w/o interfering w/ the various keys/functions of my Torch. For the price, I recommend this item, as I mostly carry my cell in my purse.

It's a beautiful hard case with a shiny finish, and the white is very white not dull, so it goes perfect with the bright candy white Torch. It was also easy to snap on and allows access to all the buttons on the phone.

I just ordered a second one for a back up.

the top cover kept popping off over and over and over again. it was faulty or something and the casing peeled. phone lasted me maybe a week before the cover fell off and it just became a total hassle. i would lose the top all the time because it would fall off it is seriously so frustrating it doesnt break when the top falls off like my other one did, a piece of it chipped, but it does just slide off on one side over and over and over again

You might think that for 4 dollars this will not be worth it, but it is. We are just used to the overpriced mall prices. It is very cute and sturdy. I have had every kind of phone cover from one's like this to an otterbox. This is actually the same weight as the commuter box that otterbox makes for this phone. The only difference is this one does not come with the silicone. Either way I have had many covers by this maker and they are fabulous. I have dropped my phone and it is fine. Also, who doesn't love zebra?'

Screen Protector - screen protectors, blackberry

I got this mirror screen protector for my Blackberry Torch about 2 weeks ago. It fits perfectly and looks sweet. It's nice having a mirror at my fingertips to check my teeth for food or a quick make-up touch-up. One negative thing is that the screen is locked whenever a call is active, even if I pull it away from my face to look at the screen. So if a call waiting call comes in, I can't see who's calling and the touch screen doesn't work. Same thing with calling my voicemail, I have to slide the phone up to press the buttons to erase or save a message, and I am unable to use the speaker phone. I don't know if this is typical of all screen protectors, since this is the first one I've used. The price is great compared to what AT&T wants to charge for a plain screen protector. Unless their protectors don't disable the touch screen when a call is active, then that would be something else to consider. Blackberry Torch 9800 Mirror Reflect Screen Protector ( 3 Pack )

The mirrored screen protectors are great. the only down fall to them is that it makes the touch screen a bit harder to manage. They are thicker than the usual screen protector. This has nothing to do with seller, his stuff was great!

Totally worth buying! Protects the screen from scratches as well as giving your screen a new fresh clean look! Applying it was very easy and the touchscreen works perfectly fine with it. I definitely recommend it ! :]

I ordered this screen protector for my BB torch and it was easy to put on. The seller even provided a youtube link so that you can put it on properly without the bubbles. Also it looks sleek when your screen is in lock it truly looks like a mirror.

I recieved my screen protector in less than a week from the order. It does not come with directions, so I had to guess how to place it onto my blackberry torch. I have had it on for about a month now. The screen protector is working great and has not shown signs of falling off. For a college kid that texts a decent amount and uses the internet on his blackberry, there are no scratches on the screen protector and personally thinks it is worth the money. I'm just saving the other two screen protectors just in case the one right now is getting scratched up. If you recieve a defective one, just go email the seller, hopefully they will be nice enough to give you another, if not the purchase is only above a dollar

Overall, I like the look of this screen protector. The sensitivity has not been affected and it fits my Blackberry Torch 9800 great. The reason I am only giving it three stars is because it can be difficult to see the screen when you're outside or wearing sunglasses.

Item was cut perfectly to fit. Very easy to apply with no smudges or air bubbles. The mirror is actually a pretty nice mirror which surprised me. However, it causes a lot of glare and reflection when screen is on and makes the screen difficult to see. I will be trying a different type because of this.

These mirror protectors fit the Torch perfectly, but they are very hard to see through. I've had a few mirror protectors on different phones in the past and these are definitely harder to see through than others out there.

They look pretty when the phone isn't in use, though. - 9800 - Screen Protectors - Screen Protector - Blackberry'
