okuma - diawa reel, okuma

I was looking for a small reel for ice fishing. This one fit the bill. It has a very smooth drag, takes up enough line per turn of the handle that it is easy to keep a tight line on most fish. This is a quality built reel very solid feel to it. I like the folding handle it makes travel and storage a breeze. It also comes with a spare spool made of aluminum. I would recommend this reel to everyone. Daiwa Spinning Reel, Crossfire 3500 with Spare Composite Spool

I bought this item not expecting too much and was surprised to find that it was a great reel. especially for the price!!! The construction is very solid and the action is very smooth. The thing that impressed me the most was the Anti-Reverse handle back play. I was amazed how there was absolutely zero reverse gear play. Many reels at this price do not deliver such performance. The ability to get rid of reverse handle back play is very important when it comes to setting the hook properly and it also prevents long-term wear on the internal gears, which means a longer overall life of the reel itself. The free ABS extra spool was an added perk for me who likes switching between using mono and braided line. I, definitely, will buy the other various sizes in the future, being that the price allows me the luxury of dedicating a rod and reel for a specific fishing situation.

This reel is good and it came with a Spare Spool. I wish other reels came with one as well. I love to be able to get a deal such as this. There are many reels out there. You can't go wrong with the name on this ones. Have fun I know I have fishing with it. - Spinning Reels - Okuma - Diawa Reel'

Battery Pack - ryobi, battery pack

After buying this 18v Ryobi Lithium battery through Amazon and retailer Minng 88, and paying 60$ plus, it stopped working after less than five months of light use. It gives a 'defective' signal when recharging. Because it was past 30 days, since purchase, I cannot return it or exchange it for a working battery. It means if you get a defective product from Minng 88, it has to fail within 30 days. If it stops working on the 31st day. you are out of luck. This is very unsatisfactory customer service.

When I had a similar experience with a defective Rigid 18v Lithium battery, bought at the same time through Amazon supplier, Damlow, the response was quite different. Damlow said to return the defective battery for a replacement despite being well past 30 days since purchase. That is great customer service and makes me a happy client. Damlow has gained a future customer. I will never buy from Minng 88 again. and advise all to do the same. Swimming

I am a swim coach and I bought this for my 7 year old. I try to use these everyday at swim practice. There are so many different parts to a stroke kids have to learn this makes it easier to break it down into smaller parts. You have to breath so without this it is impossible to take that part out and just work on the stroke or kick separately. I recommend this for any kids wanting to be on a swim team and the adult version for adults that would like to swim for their workout but find the breathing part difficult to grasp. FINIS Learn-to-Swim Snorkel

The seller had sent an item which was broken. I hadn't opened it for more than 5 months since it was winter time when I ordered. Now when I opened, I realize that the product was already with missing important parts.. ..!!

the whole thing is a big useless junk tube..'

Solid Color Ties - poor quality, boys tie

I ordered an upper-teen size of this suit to have for special outings. Because I ended up wasting time checking for something local, I ended up ordering this last minute. Amazingly, it was received two days after my order went through! (I used the standard priority shipping option because the pricing on expedited was way out of my ballpark.)

For the price and for the age of person intended, this suit is perfect. I had to compromise on sizing a bit: the jacket is a little large, but I expected that from their size chart (had to get the jacket big in order for the pants to fit). At least for the size I ordered, their measurement chart is correct and it fits just as I was expecting.

The shirt is a thin, cheaper-quality basic white button-up shirt. But I am fine with that since it is summer, and light-weight is fine. The other suit items are heavier polyester and they feel nice to the touch and look smart. The vest is a short-fitting style. The tie has a release clip in the back for easy on/off (no need to know how to tie a tie) and adjustable length to the neck band. The whole suit comes nicely clipped to a hanger inside a zippered clear dress bag (nice bonus).

I know I couldn't find anything comparable to this locally for the price I paid here. Between that and the super fast shipping, I am very pleased and he's excited to wear it. Formal Boy Black Suit From Baby to Teen (14)

I purchased this suit for my grandson to wear to a wedding. When he saw the suit he immediately said we go party! As for the suit it is a great value, comes complete with shirt and tie, just added shoes and he was ready to party. Price and shipping were right on target so was the size. I would buy from this merchant again should the need arise. - Poor Quality - Toddler Suit - Boys Tie - Boy'

Resistance Training - strength training, weight training

I can't tell you how many books I have looked at for weight training with weights, just to open them up and they are all gym related exercises on gym equipment at the gym. I guess its good if you have a gym membership, but the point of me looking for a book using handweights was because that was all I had at home, just hand weights. This book delivers. In a few moves, she uses a weight bench for positioning, but you can also use a chair or your coffee table or a step. She also has a section for using a stability ball. I don't have one but I plan on buying one.

This is a great book for people who only have hand weights and nothing else. The pictures show the moves well. Over all, good book for those of us with limited equipment but still want a good workout. 101 Ways to Work Out with Weights: Effective Exercises to Sculpt Your Body and Burn Fat!

Wow! I have been working out with dumbells off and on for 25 years. In the past, I relied on Joyce Vedral. Now I find myself with 75 pounds of extra weight from 4 pregnancies and over indulging, so I am back to weights and cardio. It has been a very difficult journey to find a new updated book that has strictly dumbell exercises. I just completed my second workout and I am so thrilled that I purchased this book (based on other reviews). The author has done a great job on creating a book that is easy to follow with good instructions and photos. The glossy pages are a must for workout books as well - thank you! The exercises are clearly numbered at the top corner so they are easy to find. She also gives several workout options for body parts as well as body types so that I can fit in any workout I want, follow it easily and get it done in a reasonable amount of time. As an OTR, I also appreciate the movements that not only required strength but balance, as this diminishes with age. I applaud the author and would highly recommend this book to anyone who exercises with dumbells and to all fitness levels.

I've read a lot of weight training books, and I think this may be one of the best. The photos are descriptive and the text is clear. You won't need a lot of equipment--dumbbells and possibly a bench or stability ball. There are a lot of exercises I haven't seen elsewhere, so you won't get bored easily. I do think some of the exercises labeled as "beginner" or "all levels" are more advanced beginner/intermediate, but use your discretion and do them with no weights or very light weights at first and you should be OK.

This book gives samples of exercises you can do without having to go to a gym. You will need a bench for some of the exercises which can be picked up at an inexpensive price. It is well written and informative especially for beginers. It targets every body part.

For people that like to go to the gym many of the exercises can be incorporated into a standard routine to give your muscles a change of pace. Changing your routine should be done periodically anyway. It is a great back to basics book. Will work for beginers as well as the advanced

I love the color illustrations, and the specific instructions on how to perform each exercise just below the pictures. With the other books I've tried, I have to constantly flip to a different page to read how to do the exercise correctly.

I really like the section that is broken down into specific exercises depending on how much time you have. While I thought some of the exercises labeled as 'beginner' were more intermediate or advanced, and vice versa, overall, I think it's an excellent book and I use it often.

I like that it offers suggestions for exercises for different body types - endomorph, ectomorph and mesomorph - that's really helpful. The exercises are described very well, photographs are great and it's easy to follow. Only suggestion would have been spiral binding.

I LOVE this book! It gives so many different workout options. I have never seen so many good ideas incorporated into one exercise book. It even gives recipe ideas for healthy eating. The illustrations are very helpful and it is very easy to interpret how to do each exercise correctly. I'm just a beginner but this is the right tool for advancing.

This book is really great. There are a ton of exercises broken down by body part that can perform in the privacy of your own home with very minimal equipment. It is clear, concise, informative and very well illustrated. I definitely recommend it.

I decided to purchase dumbbells instead of renewing my gym membership, so I was looking for fresh ideas for home workouts. This book has a lot of compound exercises that are great at breaking up the monotony of the usual sets. The challenge of learning new techniques brings such a breath of fresh air. I intend to buy her book of stability ball exercises as well since I've found this book so valuable. - Bodybuilding - Strength Training - Weight Training - Exercise'

Digital Camera - geotagging, gps

I'm usually a digital SLR user, but I've been waiting for a camera like this to come out so I have something to put in my pocket. The features that really made me decide to buy this camera were:

1. AVCHD 1080i FULL QUALITY video. Check the bitrate -- it's the same as the camcorders. Better than the flip or handheld 'HD' bitrates

2. Wide Picture Stitching. I am astounded by the quality of these pictures. Dumbfounded. Check out the ones I've posted.

3. GPS Tagging. Yep- been waiting for this since iPhoto introduced the feature into its software.

4. Low-light performance. For a point-and-shoot, you're not going to beat this. Sure, it's no DSLR, but it's pretty great for the price.

5. Price- a zillion features and a totally reasonable price!!!

Mac Compatibility:

I tried out the camera with iMovie, and it worked seamlessly!!! I imported 2 minutes of low-light video footage AVCHD in about 30 seconds from an SDHC Class-6 card. Also used the camera with iPhoto and Aperture, and everything worked great.

Update: I've had time to play around with the different settings -- you can see some of my results in the customer uploaded images. The panoramas today came out great! I am still awed by this feature (amazon's tiny photos don't do it justice). Shooting inside in the MOMA was excellent. Outside, I tried the HDR mode, with limited success (still need to experiment, but see what I got). The handheld twilight mode does what it is supposed to, impressively. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5V 10.2 MP CMOS 10x Wide-Angle Zoom Digital Camera with Optical Steady Shot Image Stabilization and 3.0 Inch LCD

*****Pros: Clear, Crisp pictures & movies. Sound is accurate. HD is excellent. Auto mode allows an average user to take excellent pictures in all but very difficult conditions. Software converts AVCHD to data, standard and WMV formats.

*****Cons: Have to remove battery from camera to recharge it. Camera has no AC adapter.

**Summary: Highlights:

* Sonys smallest and thinnest AVCHD capable digital camera (1080i)

* 10x (25mm equivalent) professional-quality optical zoom G-Lens (same lens as professional DSLR)

* 10.2 megapixel back-illuminated ?Exmor R? CMOS image sensor combined with BIONZ image processor

* ISO: Auto/125/200/400/800/1600/3200, Panorama, Anti-Motion & movies- HD (1920 x 1080 pixels),

* High Speed Shooting ? 10 frames per second at 10 megapixel full resolution

* 3-inch (230K pixels) Clear Photo LCD display with a special anti-reflective coating

* Backlight Correction HDR and GPS + Compass and Optical Steady Shot with Active Mode technologies

*****Comparison Prior to purchase:

Review Data: I reviewed over 50 web sites, spoke to camera stores and had the specifications reviewed by photographic professionals.

*WEB Site Reviews: The web sites I reviewed gave mixed reviews but in general this camera came out one of the best point and shoot cameras. In fact many of the complaints I read were by people comparing the camera with high end SLR?s or DSLR?s clearly not an unbiased or practical test, in my opinion a device should be compared with products in the same class to be fair.

*Store and Professional Reviews:I spoke to most of the major and many other camera stores that carried various brands that were familiar with this camera all of them stated they did not have a point and shoot better than this camera. Some stated the camera was as good as some SLR?s and some pointed out the lens and the CMOS image sensor was the same as that found on high end DSLRs.

My Test Results:

*****Indoor Camera mode: Camera tested in the Auto mode, photographed people and pets ? Tested under natural light, incandescent and fluorescent lights all shots were clear and sharp. Camera Tested in a darkened room in Auto mode flash worked picture quality was excellent. Extreme test - Camera tested in an almost completely dark room with light seeping through a window blind, picture blurry -camera had trouble adjusting due to streaks of light coming through blind. Repeated test without sunlight comming through blind in the dark camera worked excellent but I had to use "Easy" mode instead of Auto. It pays to try the cameras different modes.

*****Outdoor Camera Mode - Camera tested in Auto mode; photographed people and pets pictures were clear and sharp. The camera compensated for my movements, people moving and animal movement even when using zoom at its maximum without a tripod. Photographed a man made waterfall you could actually see the water streaming down the rock. Photographed several high trees all came out straight, even a palm tree. Tested camera at sunset and at night to get the best results you need to learn the cameras mode.

*****Movie Mode: (Inside and Outside)

Photographed people and animals playing inside and outside, a man made waterfall, a television program. Camera adjusted to my movements and gave clear and crisp movies. Sounds were accurate and clear.

*****Viewing:

The camera has a 3 inch LCD display; I had no problem seeing what I photographed even in sunlight.

*****Software:

The camera includes software that allows you to save your pictures as data, WMV, HD and standard mode. All modes worked well.

Conclusion: As far as I am concerned this camera is better than any point and shoot on the market. I agree with a lot of the professionals that stated it was almost as good as a SLR or DSLR when used by the average user. Even in the Auto mode it excelled in many difficult situations both as a fixed camera and movie camera. Due to the camera size you have to be careful not to block the microphone on the top of the camera. If you are a professional photographer this camera is probably not for you though I did talk to one professional photographer that stated they used this camera as a backup at a wedding and the pictures came out as good as their high end cameras in many situations.

*****Cost: I managed to find the camera on sale at [...] for $293.99 when buying 2 accessories @ 15% off.

Brita Water Pitcher - water, water filter

We got this pitcher as a wedding gift and we've been using it now for over 3 years. It's the same picther, we aren't particularly careful with it, and still it looks and works like when we first got it. It's a great size and fits nicely in our fridge. The sides stay clear (unlike some pitchers that yellow) and the top is solid. We were so happy with it we got one for someone else as a wedding gift some time ago.

Some others have mentioned black granules, but we've only seen them in the top of the pitcher (the filter area, not the area that filtered-water goes that you drink). It's our non-scientific understanding that those are part of the carbon-filtering system in the Brita filters. In the 3 years of use, I don't think we've ever seen them in our filtered drinking water - if we have, it was maybe once.

The only other con for the pitcher is you may have to wait a while to fill it. The top part that holds water that is passing through the Brita filter is smaller than the part that holds filtered water, so it takes about two to three fills of the top part to fill the filtered part. The filtering is also a little slow, but not a problem. Brita 42629 Slim Pitcher

This is my second Brita Slim Pitcher - the first served me well for a long time, until I dropped it on a brick patio. It's great for a small fridge like mine. I hate the waste of bottled water and use my Brita to fill a Nalgene bottle instead. One of my favorite features is the the dial that tells me when to replace the filter (because I can never remember when I put the last one in...)

I've owned Pur and GE water pitchers, but always go back to Brita.

One last comment - if you soak a new filter for 15 minutes in a glass of water before using it for the first time as per the directions you won't see ANY "black granules" (charcoal) in your water.

The cost of bottled water adds up and can burn a hole in your wallet, especially if you're a starving student. The Brita pitcher is affordable and saves you more money. And it's also a healthy approach to drinking sodas which adds a great deal of sugar and pounds. Don't let the size fool you. It's not heavy and doesn't take up room. I highly recommend getting this product as to buying spring water in bulk and gallons. You won't feel that you're wasting money and you will get six to eight glasses of water each day.

I got this for my dorm room, and for three girls, this pitcher is too small. This one, the smallest available, is too big for tiny dorm fridges, so you might as well get something bigger that'll let you go longer between refills.

Otherwise, this worked great. I got this because the water in New Haven is comparable to pool water, and the chlorine taste and smell completely disappears after using the filter. Good stuff.

I've used Brita pitchers/filters for years. They used to be very good. In the last couple of years however their quality control has gotten worse and worse. The last few filters I bought all leaked large amounts of the black granules (about a teaspoonful a week). I don't like having black granules swimming in my glass of water. We're using filters to get rid of junk not add it in! When I contacted Brita about this several times via email they wouldn't respond (other than to send me an automated response saying they'd get back to me within a few days).

Buy a different brand. Brita is becoming a joke due to very poor quality control.

I bought this to replace a PUR water pitcher that I had and am a little disappointed. It does an ok job filtering the water and I like that it is a small. The main problem I have with this pitcher is the lid design - It sticks to the top "resevoir" and pulls out the whole top section. You have to use a fingernail or knife to pry it open just to add water each time.

The other thing I was disappointed by, is the filter itself. The PUR filters have a marker on them to let you know when they have been used completely. This Brita pitcher included a static sticker to place on the pitcher to notify you when to replace the filter (3 months). I don't think this is very accurate, since some people may not use there pitcher as much as others.

It's an ok product, but I wish I had researched more carefully regarding the lid at least.

This pitcher is cheap, and you get what you pay for. It has very poor functional design. The chamber that holds the water to be purified and the purifier will pop out of the pitcher while pouring water unless you pour at a very shallow angle. And since there is no spout cover, the purified water will take on all the funky smells of your refrigerator if left to sit for too long.

I really like this brita pitcher, except for the difficult lid. It always takes a few tries to remove it without removing the filter apparatus too. The filter works really well. My building has pipes frin the 1920's so the water is high in minerals. I filter the water for my humidifier, and there are barely any minerals left in the water. (So I know the filter works!) The water is good to drink too. The price is cheaper on Amazon than in stores. Beyond the lid, I recommend it!

I needed clean water because the city I live in has water that smells like a swimming pool. I bought the Brita and it works great! I would suggest getting a different model though because this one doesn't seal. There's an open pour spout, so the water is exposed making it possible to become unclean again. - Water Filter - Water - Brita Water Pitcher - Filter'

Pet Grooming Tool - dog grooming, grinder

On 08/06/2008, I purchased these sander bands at the same time I purchased the Dremel 750-02 Minimite 13,000 RPM 2 Speed 4.8-Volt Cordless Rotary Tool. However the sander bands do not fit this tool. Amazon's Web-site did not clearly state otherwise.

MCox, San Diego, CA Dremel 438 1/4" 120 Grit Sanding Bands 6 Pack

I ordered these in conjunction with the Dremel 761-03 Cordless Pet Nail Grooming Rotary Tool. They fit exactly and work great! I use it sand down my dogs nails as it is less traumatic for them and helps to ensure I don't get the quick. Fast shipping and will definitely order again when I run out.

Not much to say about these, the delivery was very fast and pretty much what I had expected. Product works as described. I have 3 dogs, 2 of which had wicked long nails, because I am afraid of cutting the Quick, and so far I have only gone through one band and their nails are almost to the length they should be. I will re-purchase when I run out.

We added 1/4" 120 grit and 1/2" 120 grit sanding bands to our cart when we purchased our 7300 4.8 volt Pet Dremel. It has already paid for itself since we no longer have to take the dog to the groomers to get her nails done once a month. These bands are easy to replace and the dremel works well and stays charged. It is not too loud. We have to keep the dog occupied with treats to get it done and had to slowly acclamate her to the use of this but worth the work and worth the money!!! Order extra bands so you don't have to pay for shipping twice!!!

The product seems fine - my only disappointment was with the shipping charge. If they would just charge a price that reflects the profit that they want to make and then a shipping charge that approximates what it actually costs, I'd be a lot happier with these low price products. - Dog Grooming - Grooming Kit - Pet Grooming Tool - Grinder'

Preschool - art supplies, color

My 3 1/2 yr. old daughter loves these colored pencils. They're easy for her to grasp and color with. They are a little too pricy here on Amazon because there's a shipping charge, but I couldn't find them anywhere in a store. Glad I bought them, but wouldn't again because of the cost.

Update: Feb. 23, 2010

I finally found these at Michaels Arts and Craft store. Crayola 8ct Write Start Colored Pencils

These are fat crayon / pencils.... not exactly colored pencils, and not crayons..... but more like crayons in a 'wooden' pencil like casing. They are durable and strong and we completely prefer them over regular crayons. Worth the price.

I have four children ages 7 and under (plus another due any day). So, I've had plenty of opportunity to discover how art supplies can lead to disasters. After marker tips had been chewed off by our first two children, I decided that markers and little children were not the best combination. After crayons were chewed on, and the drool ended up on the carpet, crayons were not on the favored list either. Plus crayons break easily. So, our coloring utensil of choice in this household is the colored pencil.

These are wonderful colored pencils for the toddler/preschool set. Very easy to grip, cute designs on the side, don't break, less messy than other coloring options. I definitely recommend these colored pencils for toddlers and preschoolers. I just wish they were more easily found in local stores. Since they're not, I was very glad to be able to order these through Amazon.

Perfect for little hands and problem big hands. I enjoy using these instead of the skinny pencils. I have tendon-itis and the looser grip is more comfortable. The colors are rich like Crayola watercolor pencils, wish they came in larger packs of more colors.

For starters, I can't believe they still MAKE these! I bought a set when I was in H.S. for my science class...then I was able to let my son use them 9? years later :) They are extremely durable but I had to buy another set because alas, it is a pencil and they need to be sharpened lol

This time for our daughter I actually sharpened *both* ends so it didn't matter which way she had it!

These pencils are perfect for learning to write. My 3 year old son pulled them out of the box and said "Wanna watch me write I?" These are going to help him master writing better than any skinny pencil. These are worth the cost. This would be a great item for any preschooler or preschool setting. - Crayons - Art Supplies - Color - Art'

general electric - general electric

Well, I finally used up the last of the whale oil that I inherited from my great grandpappy, and I found that the only gadget giving off light in my house was this here computer monitor. But computer monitors are way too expensive to put in every room, so I went looking for another way to get light into my house at night.

For years I had marvelled at these strange looking socket type thingies with what look like screw threads, only bigger, sticking out of the ceiling of many of the rooms of my house. What were they for? I desperately started searching the Internet until I stumbled on these here "lamps". They look awful funny for lamps. My lamps are way bigger and have pedestals and openings for lighting the wicks, but not these. These are like bulbs, flower bulbs, but they supposedly give light. "Gee", I thought. Maybe they should be called "light bulbs". Just an idea.

So, I ordered a big box of these "lamps" and as soon as I got 'em I started screwing them into these funny socket things in my ceiling. Some of them went on as I got them screwed all the way in, and some only went on after I jiggled these little plastic things that stick out of many of the walls in my house. Guess I figured out what they're for too!

Anyhoo, now I've got light wherever I want it an whenever I want it. Some of my friends are into electrically generated light too, but they get their light from these piggy tail looking things. They're envious of the fact that my bulbs have much softer light and come on immediately and don't make strange buzzy noises. They're amazed to find out that when I accidentally break one of these new "lamps", I can just sweep it up and throw it away without worrying about the gas inside them. Maybe they should switch to these! Now that I have, I don't know what I'd do without them. GE 41028 60-Watt A19, Soft White, 4-Pack - General Electric'

Wireless Doorbell - doorbell, wireless door chimes

I've only had this door chime for about a month. But, so far, it has worked flawlessly. I live on the second floor of a three family house and the range on this unit is great. The previous chime I had seemed to work only occasionaly.

The only odd thing that I noticed when reading the installation instructions was that they recommend not mounting the push button next to any metal objects. Since most houses have screen doors, this might be an issue. However, my house is aluminum sided with a screen door and the chime still works fine. Honeywell RCWL330A1000/N P4-Premium Portable Wireless Door Chime and Push Button

Some of the other reviewers referenced the provided directions as a waste. I would say you need a basic understanding of electronics to interpret but they are pretty straight forward. I purchased the doorbell unit, the upgraded black with gold plated door button and several door/window sensors. In all I purchased enough parts for 2 door bells and 4 door/window notifications. The product description provided by Honeywell does not tell you for every window or door that you wish to be notified is opened, you must purchase one converter AND one set of wired door contacts. This adds up fast, very fast. In any case, to the set up and performance of the unit. For now I have just set up the 2 doorbells and 1 door open notifier and the set up was fairly easy. From opening the packaging to setting up the door chimes, to mounting the (what I call) door notifier took me about an hour and a half and I played around with the unit allot before installing. Mainly checking out the door chimes but also reprogramming the provided push button and the additional black and gold one I purchased. What I thought was inventive and progressive with the unit is the door open notifier has its own notification aside from the provided door chimes and it sounds like a door open notifier. I think a couple of the door chimes are a bit hokey. I think they were running out of ideas. The unit comes with a volume knob which was an excellent idea on there part as this thing is loud with the volume cranked. The light that is installed in the unit is functional, bright and eye catching and in my opinion is a very useful feature for the hearing impaired. It flashes like a strobe light when the door bell is rung. Of the 6 programmable notifiers, each one has its own display with picture or the option of placing numbers in place of the pictures so when a doorbell is rung or door is opened you know visually what door bell is being rung and so forth. Once again another nice feature for the hearing impaired. I will say if you mount the unit on a wall where a doorbell is usually mounted (high up) the picture feature will not be very useful. With that being said the unit is not ugly and is about the size of a book AND stands on it own quite well. So not mounting it on a wall and just setting it somewhere is acceptable in my opinion. If you do decide to mount it on a wall, hardware is provided and is very simple. If you can hang a picture even somewhat straight, you can hang this unit. In conclusion Honeywell is synonymous with security (at least in my neck of the woods) and the doorbell buttons have the Honeywell name placed right on them which can't hurt in possibly conveying to a potential intruder your home is fully wired with a Honeywell Security system. In conclusion to my conclusion as I almost forgot the most important point. How is the signal? I believe it to be very good. Now I have not tested nor do I plan to test it to the 450ft working range so I cannot speak to this. What I will say is my furthest door is 40 plus feet away from the doorbell itself and the buttons signal must travel through 2 insulated 2x6 walls plus 2 more interior walls and it works perfectly. No delay to speak of. No repeat button pushing AND the buttons have a signal light on them so the user knows they have pushed the button. I highly recommend this unit. Thanks for the read and I hope this helps in your decision.

Just received, easy to use and set up! There is another version, same price, that Amazon is selling - this seems to be the more deluxe of the two for exactly the same price. I purchased the extra doorbell set, which I can choose to program with the same or a different chime. I will be purchasing the Honeywell Motion Detector and the Honeywell Wireless Door Contacts after the holidays to expand my little wireless alert network. I like that it has the option of expanding. Both of these devices can be programmed with this Wireless Doorbell Chime receiver. This unit also comes with the option of using a blue strobe light with or without the chime. And each device that is added can have its own chime if you desire. I've only had it a day, but so far it exceeds my expectations! Takes an additional 4 "C" batteries which are not included. The battery for the push bell is included. I'm happy with my purchase! - Doorbell - Wireless Door Chimes - Cordless Doorbell - Door Chimes'

Swimming Goggles - snorkel set, swimming snorkel

I bought this for my Finis Snorkel, and first I must say to install it(it does say this in its instructions) Place both the top and snorkel end in some hot water for a bit...it softens them both so that you can slide them together.

It works...very well...surface dives only to return to the surface with a dry snorkel. Be warned that as the snorkle is exeptionaly long, adding this does cause slight breathing resistance. I think its worth it though and as many folks use this for lap swim, its kinda nice to have the resistance. FINIS Swimmer's Snorkel Dry Top

I was not able to use this very long due to the slight restriction advertised as 20% and I beleive thats about right.

Maybe with more practice I will use it. Warning Once you heat it up to install you must be put back in hot water to remove it. Which is difficult at the pool but the hot faucet water made it happen. - Swimming Snorkel - Swimming Goggles - Snorkel Set - Training Fins'

Newsboy Caps - driving cap, flat caps

This hat fits very well and is comfortable. The material is a very fine weave which is good and bad--I personally like more course textured materials. Also, you can't appreciate it in the pics, but around the opening, there is a 1 1/2" rim of material--not a sleek as a cap without that. New Wool Blend Ivy Cap-Black

I have bought a few hats as of late and this one is at the bottom of the scale.

The sizing is large and there is a fat band that isn't shown in the photos that

makes this cap bulky. It could work if that's what you're looking for, but the photo

depicts a sleek, tight cap. I bought two and I am sending them back, both.

Size runs small. The design includes a number of small pieces of fabric sewn together, including a seam right down the center of the top. It looks funny when put on. The darts (seams) in the back do not follow the curvature of the head. Not even close. As a gift for a child it is fine but again, you get what you pay for.

Beware if yours is being sold by Gravity Trading. They sent me something branded "Decky" which isn't the Ivy cap pictured on the Amazon web page. I sent them email inquiring about the incorrect item, we'll see if they respond well. - Newsboy Cap - Flat Caps - Flat Cap - Driving Cap'
