Punches
I bought this for my wife. She helps me with my business and I was tired of her stealing my Swingline 2 hole punch. Turns out I should have let her keep mine and I should have kept this one. Its much more solid then my Swingline, punches easier and costs less. When my current one breaks I will buy this again for me. UNV74222 - 25-Sheet Capacity Two-Hole Punch
Made in China, but that does not limit how well it works. It is extremely well built, is fluid upon hole punching...
What can I say? It's a hole puncher. Get it if you need it. Also consider waiting until you buy something over 15 dollars with this so you can get free shipping
Because of the usability and price, this product is ok despite one odd thing about it. The sliding steel arm is set to measure in the wrong direction. It's almost like the original picture (but they've since changed the photo) except the numbers are on the other side and facing in the other direction. The arm that I got was meant to be inserted on the other side. Even the tilt of the upper arm runs in the opposite direction. I've showed others and nobody has seen anything like it before. But it doesn't mean anything. The functionality is not changed at all. I wonder if this oddity is what resulted in this item being cheaper.'

17 Inch Laptop Sleeves - notebook sleeve, 17 inch laptop bag
I would highly recommend this to anyone with a 17 inch laptop! I have a 17" Toshiba and was having a hard time finding a bag or a sleeve to fit it. I even took my laptop to Best Buy to try things out and the bags (shoulder or backpack) were either ginormous or didn't fit, and the sleeves were not easy to use. This sleeve is PERFECT- nice and snug, I don't have to worry about zippers scratching the laptop or breaking. It does have a bit of a smell to it but it will fade- definitely NOT a reason to not buy this! Hope this review helps you make a decision! 17" Widescreen Laptop Notebook Sleeve Carrying Flip Case Bag for Fujitsu, Samsung, Dell, Acer, ASUS Eee PC, Gateway, HP, Sony, Compaq, IBM, Mac, Sharp, Toshiba models
First of all this thing fits my 17" widescreen gateway p-7811fx laptop perfectly.
The catch is, it smells bad, like burn plastic or something similar.
Have to wash it several times before the smell go away
Other than that, everything looks great
The sleeve fit my dell studio 17 laptop and stretched to accommodate the small stand the was connected to my laptop. The sleeve stretches evenly and provides a wonderfully snug fit. If you are thinking that your 17" laptop will not fit you are likely wrong like I was.
I am very happy with the sleeve, just bought the new gateway P-7805u gaming laptop. I searched all over for a sleeve big enough for my laptop and this fits perfectly. th battery on my laptop sticks out the back but its no problem with this sleeve since it folds over. The smell is very bad though, other than that its perfect. I would recomend to anyone with a very large 17 in laptop. Just make sure u wash it a couple times to get rid of the smell! - 17 Inch Laptop Bag - 17 Inch Laptop Sleeves - Laptop Sleeves - Notebook Sleeve'

office supplies - message pads, post-it
My whole family uses these. I use them to mark passages in books I want my husband to look at. My daughter uses them in craft books and magazines to mark projects she wants to do, she also color codes the projects. My son likes them for gaming manuals to find a rule or something he wanted to remember. They are also nice around holidays to drop "subtle" hints in catalogs.
Being able to write a quick note to my husband about why I wanted him to read that passage, or to write a quick note to myself about how I modified a recipe in a cookbook without writing in the book is nice. Since they are sticky they don't fall out if the book is mishandled, dropped or shoved into a book bag. Outdoors - biker, mens bracelet
I ordered two different leather bracelets from this seller and I love them both. The picture doesn't show too clearly how the underside slides along two ties to make a larger and smaller fit. What that means is that, unless you have 10" wrists, there's a two tails that you tuck under the main part of the bracelet. My wrists are actually pretty thin, so I retied the ends so that it would fit tighter. I also trimmed off the extra tie, that didn't need to be so long. Really cute casual rocker style. Natural Leather Multi-strand Bracelet with Accent Color Cords, Adjustable Fit for Men and Women
I purchased this leather bracelet about a month ago and it hasn't come off my wrist since. I was skeptical at first, thinking the binding would come loose after daily use but through showers, the gym, and consistent wear it has held up quite nicely. Definitely recommend this product.
I tend to dress in light-brown tones as a base and pair it with complementing tones. So this bracelet combines well with most of casual wardrobe.
I've also showered with it and it hasn't lost it's color or shape.
This bracelet has a great color scheme, and looks exactly like it does in the photo. The hint of green and beiges will go with a lot of different looks. It is completely adjustable by pulling the ends apart and then pulling one of the strings to tighten. I have a small wrist, and I was able to tighten this bracelet enough to fit comfortably. I'm very happy with this bracelet. - Mens Bracelet - Biker - Boy - Bracelet'

Pneumatic Floor Nailer - nail gun, floor nailer
Was skeptical, as I usually am, but this tool lives up to its name.
Have installed alot of 3/4" 2-1/4" plank oak flooring with it so far, have had 1 misfire. Instructions say to not hit it too hard, but I found that it takes a good solid whack to get it to fire completely. Once you do that, it's a breeze. Always seats where it's supposed to, and fires the nails to the right depth. Too light a whack will not sink the nails.
It's really solidly built and balanced really nicely.
One drawback, I wish I could check magazine level without opening it up, but it's not too bad. It makes a hollower sound when you're dry firing. Ramsond RMM4 2-in-1 Air Hardwood Flooring Cleat Nailer and Stapler Gun
I as a shopper often depend on the Amazon customer reveiws for product research. No one had reveiwed this nailer yet, however based on feedback on other websites, I decided to take a chance. I purchased this nailer as opposed to the Porter Cable nailer because I do not use a flooring nailer that often. I just couldn't justify the 4oo.oo plus expense. This nailer as well as another couple, and I suspect also the Porter Cable nailer have such obvious similarities that I feel they are probably made in the same factory.
Upon arrival the nailer seems well made for a more economically priced nailer. Machinings and castings aren't perfect but adequate for a 200.00 nailer.
Likes: The handle, and the fact that it will drive either nails or staples and can be adjusted for various flooring thickness. The color, which has nothing to do with functionality, but this nailer does look cool.
I received the nailer and fired some test nails into scrap flooring. The nailer shoots nicely and seems to function properly.
Dislikes: The bargain basement mallet. The manual could use some more detailed photos. Most of the logos are in the form of decals, not painted on, call me picky but I like to keep my tools well maintained, and don't like decals falling off over time.
I am giving this nailer three stars for now. I will try to report back after I get more time in with this gun.
Reveiw update. Since the last reveiw I have been working on my floors and the gun has performed very well. I have shot over 1500 cleats through the gun and had no jams or misfires. The only thing in use that has been a problem is that the rubber coating on the handle is so grippy that it tends to give a blister.
Overall, I am really pleased with the product, and would like to add another star.
As most other people who bought this flooring nailer, I couldn't justify spending 400 plus on the Bostich or Porter Cable. I don't like renting tools from the home improvement stores because I like the freedom to use the tools whenever I want so I can do the job at my own pace. I gave it 4 stars because when I first hooked up the air supply, I heard some air leaking from where the handle meets the body of the nailer. I found that some of the bolts were not fastened down all the way. I just took the wrench that was supplied and tighten the bolts and it hasn't leaked air since. The other reason for 4 stars is that the logo's and SN are just stickers, and the user manual is not that great for beginners like me. As far as the functioning of the nailer, it gets 6 stars! I put down 3/4 inch pre-finished oak floor and the RMM4 worked perfect without a single misfire! Overall, I would recommend this tool in a heartbeat, especially to those who are trying to decide whether or not to buy or rent.
I bought my Ramsond flooring nailer/stapler on e-bay. I used the last part of a box of nails then went to staples based on what a professional floor guy told me. The gun functioned flawlessly. It is easy to use, the stapling action drives the t & g flooring tightly together eliminating any gaps. It works just like my pro friend's Bostitch.
I installed about 200 sq feet of 3/4" x 2 1/4" red oak flooring and stored the tool in my dry basement for almost a year. I started installing the same material in a 400 sq ft room. It worked well for about 100 sq ft. And then the nailer broke. The pin which holds the staple driver to the piston snapped, and the driver was now free. This part looks identical to the Bostitch part.
Ramsond sells the gun with a package of o-rings, hex wrenches and a stamped steel wrench. Disassembly was not easy, but I was able to get down to the piston/driver assembly. When I tried to take this apart, the aluminum pieces broke. I went to e-bay, emailed Ramsond (actually Padova Imports) and the next day had a reply to call their parts dept. They shipped out a new piston/driver assembly for about $35 with shipping and I had it in less than a week. (I cannot blame them for the gun being out of warranty.) WRONG PART. I'll return it tomorrow and see if I can get the correct part.
While it worked, this flooring gun was great. But mine did not work for long.
There is a difference between a name brand (Bostitch) tool and a Harbor F&S or a Ramsond tool. Quality materials and quality control make a difference. In general, I have not had good luck with the off brand, cheap tools but still buy them in hopes of hitting the jackpot. I guess I never learn. Bottom line, my pro flooring friend has gotten years of trouble free use out of his Bostitch, and while I admit one tool does not a statistical sample make, my Ramsond failed after a few hours use, and the support was questionable.
If you buy Ramsond, may you have better luck than I did.
I read all the reviews and ordered the nail gun. I opened the box, oiled up the gun and off we went (boys with new toys) it worked great until I disconnected the air compressor on the 2nd day and when I hooked it back up it developed an air leak on handle the bolt where coming loose and the gasket had slipped out the side so I shoved the gasket back in and tightened all the bolts and it worked like a charm.
I'm only 200sqft into a 600sqft project, not one miss fire and the only problem I had was with the bolts being loose on handle. I would recommend this nail gun for the price, before using check all bolts, it was easy with the allen wrench right on the tool.
I gave this a 4 because the handle on the hammer is loose after 4 days of use. A little better made hammer would be nice.
Good luck! - Nail Gun - Hardwood Floor Nailer - Hardwood Flooring Nailer - Floor Nailer'

The boat cover fit fairly well on the Bayliner. There were two problems. The cover did not fit over the the deck on the back of the boat. The second problem was the straps that hold the cover on. They were not the quality we expected with the fine quality of the cover itself. VORTEX HEAVY DUTY VHULL FISH SKI RUNABOUT COVER FOR 17 18 19' BOAT, BEST AVAILABLE COVER BLUE
The cover is a light cover, it is descent. It does not fit like a customer one, it was tight on the bow, but got looser tward the stern. It does fit ok, and included straps to hold it to the trailer. For the price, great cover.
Heavy-Duty boat cover at an affordable price. Boat covers are one of those items that "you get what you pay for." That being said, this is still a great price for an above-average cover that should last for many years. Thanks for the service!
The cover material is fairly light compared to the more expensive covers I've purchased in the past. Will have to see how it holds up. Considering the price if I get 3 to 4 years out of it I will be satisfied. The fit is fairly good. My boat is 18' and I have two upright poles to keep the tension sufficient to avoid water puddling.
I don't have a ton of experience with boats and covers, but so far it seems to be a good cover. It fits my 19' 88 bayliner capri bowrider better than I could expect. I read a lot of reviews that complained that the straps were confusing. I figured out what works for me just fine. I haven't trailored with it on, but I'd rather not. It keeps the rain and debri out. I may try to find a way to scotch guard it as it does sweat through in the rain, but the vast vast majority runs off. Good cover for the price. Go ahead a buy it. No Worries. - Tablet - Fire - Kindle Fire - Android'

Limited Edition - bad company 2, battlefield
Battlefield Bad Company 2 is an excellent game. The single player is spectacular and the multiplayer is more addicting than Call of Duty games. For anyone who has played a previous "Battlefield" title, there's a familiar formula here that has been reworked for an even better online experience. Since the majority of players will be playing online most of the time, I'll go into some detail on the multiplayer aspects. The maps are large and the gameplay is challenging. Unlike some other first person shooter games, you have to really employ some strategy and you must work as a team if you really want to win. In Bad Company 2, your team consists of squads, up to 4 people in each squad. You can create objectives for you and your squad memebers and you can "spot" enemy team members by putting them in your cross-hairs and pushing the "select" button instantly showing your entire squad where this enemy player is located (it puts a large orange triangle over their head and shows their location on your squad-mates mini map.) Bad Company 2 also has 4 awesome multiplayer modes: Conquest, Rush, Squad Rush, and Squad Deathmatch. Most everyone knows the object of a deathmatch, get your team as many kills as you can and make sure your team has more kills that the other team if you want to win. Well Battlefield 1942/1943 were both known for their "Conquest" mode and Bad Company 2 brings it back. The objective is for your team to capture and hold flag points scattered along the map, as long as you own these flag points, you and your entire team can spawn on them. In the Rush game mode, there are M-COM stations scattered throughout the map. One team defends these stations, while the other team tries to destroy the stations by either planting bombs on the stations or tearing the building down (yes, you can blow buildings apart and watch them crumble to the ground smashing any player still inside!).
Ok, now for the benefits of the "Ultimate Edition". The Ultimate Edition includes Battlefield 1943 and Onslaught mode. Battlefield 1943 is a downloadable game from the PS Store that usually costs $14.99 and it is a fun throwback that was built off of the original hit Battlefield 1942 that was released on the PC. There are only 4 maps in BF 1943 but it is still a great World War II game. The other extra is Onslaught co-op mode. The Onslaught mode is a downloadable add-on to Bad Company 2 that usually costs $9.99 at the PS Store but is now included with the Ultimate Edition. Onslaught is a co-op online game mode in which you and 3 other squad mates can take part in. It is a very fun game mode that is sure to add even more re-play time to an already addicting game.
Now for the negatives about this game... Actually, I have very few complaints about Bad Company 2. A few people have complained about getting randomly booted from online matches, I have never had this happen and I have logged over 45 hours in the multiplayer modes. I do wish that there was an option to play 4 player (or even 2 player) split-screen online. I also think that the helicopters are way too dominant. They are very hard to take down once an enemy player gets in one.
All in all, Bad Company 2 is a GREAT game! If you are looking at this game and considering it, you should buy it, or at least checkout the full professional reviews at some other websites. I downloaded the demo before the game was even out, and I knew it was going to be good. I pre-ordered it and paid $60 for it, then bought this version for the Onslaught mode and Battlefield 1943 and gave my old version to a friend so he could play online with me. This Ultimate Edition is a great value at only $40, you get the Onslaught mode free (usually an extra $10) and Battlefield 1943 (usually $15)! That's $25 worth of free content, not to mention the VIP code that comes with all new versions of Bad Company 2 giving you access to some FREE map packs. Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition
I loved COD4, and MW2. I spent so much time playing those games. But I got to a point where I was just SICK of it. I didn't play a shooter for a good couple of months. I didn't want to spend a whole bunch of money on Black Ops either. I recently got the itch to play again and plugged in MW2... still tired of it. Oddly enough, the day after that, this game went on sale for 27 dollars, and I picked it up without hesitation.
It is an entirely different experience from the COD games. There is a bullet drop on sniper rifles... totally awesome. Now when you make a longshot with the sniper, you have to aim higher to account for this. I fricken love it, because now you feel accomplished when you get that long distance headshot. Plus, you actually have to work as a team. If you run around trying to be a badass, chances are you will get killed. The emphasis here isn't team deathmatch. Its all about capturing enemy bases, or destroying enemy objectives. I love the fact that you can tag an enemy, and said enemy is instantly visible to all your teammates.
Theres a lot of guns here, different equipment, and the expected perks and attachments of most FPSs right now. The inclusion of vehicles adds a lot as well. Boats, land vehicles, and various air vehicles make for an exciting match. I will admit though, it gets annoying when every single person hops into a tank or a helicopter.
A quick warning that was already stated by another reviewer: being new to this game right now is rough. Be prepared for that.
Plus, this edition gives you sooo much extra stuff. BF1943 is alright, and I havent played the other mode that you download, but what I can attest to is the greatness of the extra maps you get.
I recommend this, especially for people who are finally tired of COD and want a different type of game.
I'm not here to provide a lengthy review about the gameplay, if you want that I recommend going to gamespot, gametrailers, and IGN, for a professional review instead of getting countless skewed biased reviews from fanboys. I will say, however, that this is a great deal on a very good game. Bad Company 2 has a thriving online community that rivals that of Modern Warfare 2, so if you're looking for a fun shooter to play online, you've come to the right place.
People seem to be a little unsure just what is included in the package. You get the original Bad Company 2 game (40 dollar value), the VIP code for the map packs (if you buy the game used you have to purchase a VIP code for 10 or 15 dollars to be able to download the map packs), you also get BC2's DLC Onslaught mode (a 10 dollar value) and Battlefield 1943 (15 dollar value). If you do the math, it's easy to see why I consider this to be a great value.
I can't tell you whether or not you'll like the Bad Company 2 or Battlefield 1943. Both games are a lot of fun and have very unique FPS personalities. Check out professional reviews to see if it's up your alley.
Note: I purchased this game when Amazon had it listed at 40 dollars. If you can get it for that value, it is a must buy. 60 is still a good deal though.
If you are a parent concerned about the violence in either game please be aware that it is Rated M (17+). The game does have minimal violence/blood (no where near the most violent games on the market) and some harsh language. Also playing online always increases the chances of running into other players swearing. - Bad Company 2 - Bad Company - Battlefield - Ps3 Games'

Food Network - food network, good eats
Alton Brown continues his record of his distinctive and fun, but still educational food program Good Eats. He includes a DVD with 15 very short clips that include the subjects: cotton candy, plum pudding, cowboy chow talk, grog, egg nog, sugar, turkey carving, fish, French toast, knives, peanut brittle, macaroons, rice, pickles, diner speak. The turkey carving is very useful and well done.
All are done in Alton's inimitable quirky style.
Included in the book itself is an interview with Alton and seasons 6 through 10 which are episodes 81through 164. There are colour illustrations, diagrams and pictures to show various techniques such as shucking oysters. Two or three recipes are included with each episode. There are many good ones here including Cuban sandwiches and Alton's favorite on frying turkeys. Included are equivalent charts and a recipe index.
Everything is done in the fun quirky style of the show which would make this a good book for those a bit hesitant about their ability or the fun of cooking. Cookbook collectors and fans of Alton Brown of course would also appreciate this book. Good Eats 2: The Middle Years
I don't know if I just didn't remember the scripts from the first 80 episodes, but the first book it seemed like he took more time with the information at the beginning of each episode. The first book had stories and anecdotes about why each episode subject was chosen or a little story about it. In this one he just copied and pasted the opening script from the show. I still love that I get all the recipes plus a few extras, but I wish he had taken as much time with this one as he did with the first. Maybe it was the publisher's fault, pushing him to get it out faster.
I just hope the next one goes back to the first book's style.
This is the second book in the Good Eats "series" of book that Alton is putting out covering what he teaches us during the his TV show. It is a very valuable resource for people to learn a lot about a cooking in a fresh, innovative way as opposed to just reading another cookbook. It is a refreshing and entertaining way to discover they why's of cooking rather than just regurgitating recipes. For that I think this book is an excellent resource for people and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about cooking.
My only complaints are the same as they were for the previous edition. The main complaint is that the index doesn't really cover all of the books. This is a very minor problem and one that only real fans of the show will find difficult since, in my case I already have seen all of his shows and might know that I want to do a version of one of the recipes he covered in one of his shows but I have to remember which book contains that episode in order for me to find the recipe. True, the individual indices have all the values we need to go look things up but at the same time, they only index what is in that volume of the series, so if you are looking for something and don't find it in the index then you have to go look it up in the other index to see if the recipe is there instead. I think I'm just spoiled by how easy Alton makes it to understand everything on his show and am wishing that the same ease of use translated to looking things up in these books. I'm hoping/wishing that after a few volumes of the book are out that they include an overall index to make things easier to look up. (I also wrote in my review of the first book that not all of the recipes from the show were included in the book. I don't know if that is still the situation with this book since I have yet to find anything that is not included in the book.)
Overall I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book...especially for people that are new to cooking or shy about cooking since it does contain a treasure trove of information that can be unbelievably helpful to people whether they watch the show or not.
Buy it if you have any interest at all in cooking and why things happen the way they do.
Don't buy it if you don't cook or don't like thinking beyond just following a recipe step by step.
Definitely buy it if you are a fan of Alton Brown and his show.
Alton Brown and his merry band of studio accomplices have created the best dual medium cooking product since Julia Child launched Mastering the Art of French Cooking and PBS' The French Chef. On his televised series (I also bought the DVD set), Alton demonstrates a gift for clearly presenting dishes I want to cook while increasing my understanding of cooking techniques and equipment and how things all come together. As in Good Eats 1: The Early Years (which I also own), the text closely tracks the televised episodes. For fans, the book has sidebars with inside tidbits about filming, which of the merry band did what and a written version of the DVD "Ask Alton" section. Buy the package and you won't regret it. Plus, you get the whole teaching-training program of tell 'em what you'll teach, show 'em how and finally, remind 'em what they've learned. With this book, Alton even gives you the notes!
Alton organizes each recipe using "GeekSpeak" titles: 'knowledge concentrate', 'application', 'software' and 'procedure'. "Hardware" items are discussed in sidebars about, say 'pots and pans.' I find this presentation to be very well organized but the titles seem a little 'precious' with repeated cooking from the book. I do like Alton's commentary on running changes he has made to recipes and techniques based on his own experiences with food preparation. The overall effect is one of having a personal tutorial by Alton in your home, complete with conversational 'asides.'
Unlike the "Iron Chef" series Alton hosts, there is nothing 'foodie' about ingredients and there is nothing elaborate about procedures. This is 'straight ahead' cooking for all of us but with really good recipes and techniques so things come out better than expected and better than the recipes do from the 'average' cookbook. - Cookbook - Cooking - Food Network - Good Eats'

Catcher In The Rye - catcher in the rye, male frontal nudity
Jennifer Aniston does a surprisingly good job at portraying Justine, the fed-up Retail Rodeo employee who begins an elicit affair with Holden, a co-worker 8 years her junior. I find it funny that one of the reviewers thought of this movie as a "comedy". The dialogue is humorous at times, but I think this story has a lot more to it than meets the eye.Justine sees her life as a prison, as does Holden. He swings open the door of curiosity in her life that makes her wonder if there's more for her in the world. Yet, the "good girl" mentality she holds throughout the movie obligates her to deny her feelings for Holden and stick with her pot-smoking, impotent husband. As you watch, you at first root for Holden and Justine. You want them to escape their small town and find out what life holds for them. Then you start feeling like that isn't right either; Holden is, after all, only 22...and a depressed, rather mentally disturbed 22 at that. Justine sees in him a possibility, but still a bleak possibility. This leads to a battle of motivations: do you stick with the life you are familiar with and is socially acceptable, even if you're depressed out of your mind, or do you escape into a life more exciting that could very well be as bad or even worse? This is what makes me not know what to think. Justine obviously has personal issues she needs to work out, but she sees her answers in other people and not in herself. This makes her a sympathetic character, but you hate her all at the same time. The story is very well-conceived, and the actors do a marvelous job portraying Justine's equally-dysfunctional co-workers, family, and friends. The deleted scenes on the DVD are funny, and some would have been helpful to explain some of the progression in the story. However, the movie is mysteriously captivating on its own, and I think Aniston should be recognized for this gross departure from her flaky counterpart on "Friends". The Good Girl
This is an odd movie to write a review for. However, since most people reading this are looking for an answer to the question, "Should I watch this or not?" I'll give you a quick answer: Yes. It's worth every penny- for a rental, at least."The Good Girl" is like no movie I've ever seen. That's not a compliment, and it's not a criticism, it's just an observation. I don't want to pigeonhole it into any one genre. The movie has plenty of very funny moments, but it's not a comedy. It's also rather depressing (at first) but it's not "black." It's dramatic, but can't really be classified as a typical drama (although that's the section it's in at the video store). In short, it's just a bunch of stuff that happens.THE GOOD:There are a lot of very funny moments that will have you laughing out loud- sometimes at moments that you're not sure you should be laughing. The cast performs every character in "The Good Girl" superbly, from Jennifer Aniston's ramshackle Justine to Jake Gyllenhaal's sullen Holden to Justine's slovenly but affable husband Phil (played by John C. Reilly). Of course, I must mention Zooey Deschanel as cynical cashier Cheryl, one of the funniest and all-around best supporting acting performances I've ever seen. And yes, I am now officially a fan of Jennifer Aniston, even though I'm decidedly a non-fan of "Friends" (I tried watching it after seeing "The Good Girl," but couldn't get into it).THE BAD:Although the acting is great, it sometimes seems like they're acting in different movies. Holden's movie is a bleak tragedy, Justine's is a finding-yourself drama, and Phil's is "Half Baked" (cheap joke, I know). Justine is a hard character to empathize with, because you come to dislike Justine's paramour Holden more than her husband. However, you do want Justine to find happiness. But you know it's going to be hard for her to do so with any of the people in the movie. She's not a heroine, she's not a villain; she's just a human. She screwed up and she knows it. It'll help to keep in mind while watching this movie that all it's characters should not be looked at as either protagonists or antagonists, they should be looked at as humans. The movie left me a little depressed after watching it, but the more I thought about it the more I liked it. It's a good cautionary tale. One of the things that tells me if a movie is good or not is how much it sticks with me after I see it. I rented this, watched it twice, and cannot get it out of my head. I'm planning to buy it."The Good Girl" is good, and it's worth a rental.
(Assuming that the reader has read the synopsis...)
Wow, Jennifer Aniston actually CAN act and Jake Gyllenhaal was very good, (pay attention to the little things he adds to the story and his character). I personally wouldn't have even watched this movie in the first place if it wasn't for the fact that Jake Gyllenhaal is one of my favorite actors, but I am glad I did. The story really isn't that complex or abnormal, just one of one woman's unsatisfaction with her life, and how she realizes that she has the power to make life what she wants it to be. She thinks she has found someone in Holden who, unlike her stoner husband, can really understand her. The end is the unique part, you can make of it whatever you choose. You can look at it as dark, a comedy, or light with its dark parts. This is a film that will leave a lasting impression on you, and make you take a step back and look at your own life. Basically, the story isn't complex, but the insight to the deepest of human emotions and tendencies make this a worth-while film.
I first saw this film because Jake Gylenhaal was becoming more and more popular and i wanted to see all of his films. I was not expecting a whole lot out of this film but i was shocked when i ended up loving it! Hardly anyone hs even heard of this film because it was a more independant film which was shown at the Sundance Film Festival, but it deserves recognition. I would recommend that anyone who enjoys dark and insightful films to see this. It is a wonderful film with great performances including Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, John C. Reiley, and Tim Blake Nelson. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. - Catcher In The Rye - Male Frontal Nudity - Jennifer Aniston - Black Comedy'

Desk Organizer
This product is as advertised. Decent quality, lots of organizing space. The tall sections hold scissors, marking pens, and other tools. I have lots of small items to fill the small bins. I like having tape and space for sticky notes. I don't have to go hunt them up. All in all, just what I needed to help me organize many small notions and tools. It can sit on top the sewing cabinet, or move if I need the space for a larger project. Officemate Deluxe Rotary Organzier, Recycled, Black (26255)
Holds all of my desk junk in a neat, organized manner. Cuts down on the amount of space needed in desk drawer(s) and on top of the desk. This means, LESS CLUTTER. Now, when I shut the desk drawer forcefully, I don't have stuff flying all over the place, such as push pins, pens, pencils, paper clips, etc. So it cuts down on aggravation, too. You get the good effect of letting off steam by slamming the drawer without the aggravation of having to cleaning up after your stress-reducing slam. I'd call this a WIN-WIN Desk Organizer!'

Jump Ropes - fitness, speed rope
I read reviews of all the other jump ropes available before purchasing this one. So glad I did! This jump rope is 9ft, easily adjustable for shorter people, and comes with a mini DVD that reminds you of all the different ways to jump rope in case you've forgotten. It's rubber or leather or something similar so it's good for a speed workout. I highly recommend this...oh yeah and I've had it only a few days and the kinks from packaging have already fallen out. Altus Athletic 9-Foot Adjustable Speed Jump Rope with DVD
Just wanted something to get my heart rate up for a few minutes in the morning. At under $10, this Altus jump rope is a nice addition to my exercise repertoire. You can shorten the rope part and still leave overage in the handle in case you change your mind and want to lengthen it somewhat later. The handle has a comfortable grip and weight (not too light, not too heavy). Don't skip this rope barefoot--the plastic rope smacking your toes in a bit painful. Comes with a CD in case you want to progress to trickier moves--leg raised, etc.
I bought 3 other jump ropes in the $10-$20 price range, and this one is the best. It is very smooth with the rotations and has been an excellent work out tool. I am 5'7 and did not need to adjust the length at all, so if you are a couple inches taller you might want a longer one.
This jump rope has a heavy string for fast swinging and light handle for quick movement. I can say this product is a speed, and heavy rope but mainly speed. Perfect for anyone who wants to learn and is decent at jump ropes like myself. Price is alright, worth it in the long run. Comes with instructions to adjust the rope. Pros: Soft grip jump rope that uses bearings so the handle won't cut into the rope like most jump ropes Cons: None so far. I'm pleased with this product
There is a common misconception that the recent increase in human fatalities from encounters with elephants is a result of human expansion into wildlife areas. Although large areas of land that were once home to elephants are diminishing, it is the growing popularity of jump roping that is to blame for these deaths. Already frustrated by their inability to momentarily escape the forces of gravity, elephants are now overcome with jealous rage after having observed the arrogant, graceful movements that are displayed during the act of rope jumping. They aren't just targeting people either. While it fails to make major headlines, elephants are also attacking frogs, kangaroos, cats, and Mexican jumping beans.
Ironically, the best defense against surviving the wrath of these blood-thirsty beasts is to embrace our physical abilities and utilize jump rope training in order to build the strength, stamina, and agility necessary to evade an onslaught. Fortunately, the Altus Athletic 9-Foot Adjustable Speed Jump Rope with DVD has everything you need to help you reach your conditioning goals:
- Cool 90s style handles that include tough neon blue plastic and comfortable foam padding. The handles contain areas where the padding has been purposely shredded to expose the neon blue plastic beneath - this is done purely for aesthetics.
- Easily adjustable cord. The nice thing about the adjustment system is that it gives you a little room for error. It's better to leave the rope length a little longer because you can just stick the excess cord that you aren't using inside the handles.
- A cord that is thick and durable. A fellow rope jumper commented that this rope is a bit heavier than other "speed" ropes, and I would have to agree. Your arms and wrists will get a work-out from using this rope. The cord also has a nice, thick, durable feel, and the kinks came out within the first day.
I really can't think of any substantial complaints regarding the quality or performance of the Altus. The reason it gets four stars instead of five, is that I have used other speed ropes that were lighter, thinner, and easier to turn. In other words, there are other ropes that I prefer over the Altus. However, when it really boils down to it, we're talking about a piece of material connected to some handles that you swing and jump over. This product enables you to do that. Make elephants jealous.
This is a great durable jump rope. I have used it quite a bit and have had no problems. Easy to adjust the height. I have not whipped myself with it, so I don't know how to tell you that would feel. However it is pretty heavy so i'd imagine it would hurt! I use this on cement and it has not frayed or worn in any way. Gets the job done.
This is not really a "high speed lightweight jump rope" as described. With my old cheap speed rope, I usually did 500 singles followed by 50 doubles a set. With this one, I struggle to do 250 singles a set.
The weight may be good for some people, but if you are looking for a truly lightweight jump rope like I was, skip this one.
I have to say this pair was well worth the purchase. Aside being affordable, the rope is comfortable for use especially with the soft grips and the adjustments are easy to manage. Would recommend to anyone who'd prefer a less expensive and more affordable jump rope. - Jump Rope - Jump Ropes - Fitness - Speed Rope'
