Milwaukee 18v Lithium-ion - charger, 18v battery
THE LAST GUY SHOULD HAVE READ THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION!!!!! THE CHARGER IS FOR "M-18" BATTERIES, NOT "V-18". THE ADD SHOULD REALLY BE A LITTLE MORE DESCRIPTIVE, AS V-18 AND M-18 ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. V-18 AND THE OLD NICADS ARE, BUT NOT M-18. NO REASON TO GIVE A 1 STAR AS THE CHARGER WORKS GREAT FOR THE RIGHT BATTERY Milwaukee 48-59-1801 M18 Lithium-Ion Battery Charger
We use an M18 Cordless wet/dry vac for field service. We are in and out all day. This charger and an M18 XC battery keeps up and helps us keep moving.
The order was filled quickly/tracked effectively/delivered promptly.
The Milwaukee Lithium Red line up is the best set of cordless power tools I've owned. Comapct and powerful they always perform. The charger has a dead battery up and running in as little as 15 minutes.
It is an original branded charger...very pleased with amazon..every time i buy something it says 5 to 10 days it allways takes them 3 to 5 days, best of it: free w/ super saver. don't know how. I used to be n..egg,ti..direct, etc. even that they sale on amazon too....tx
This charger works for M18 battery's but not the older V18. This is a quite confusing cause the m18 battery's say on the side 18V not M18 or V18 and you can't tell the difference by looking at the connection. I love my v18 tools and I have the newer lithium ion battery's but I guess they will be phased out even though some of my tools are less than 6 months old. Bad move by Milwaukee making the two types incompatible. They will probably loose my future business.
A smart charger, protects your batteries if too hot or cold. Smaller shape would be convenient. The pass through plug is a good feature for a crowded outlet. Open ventilation requires protection for moisture and dirt. 12 volt power converter option is a nice touch, but any converter with enough power will do the job.
Pros:Charges Quickly, Long Lasting, Powerful, Reliable Performance
Currently in the process of changing all of cordless tools to Lithium batteries. They last longer than making the job easier. These batteries perform under working conditions for more than a day at a time before needing a charge. - Charger - Milwaukee 18v Lithium-ion - 18v Battery - Chargers'

Running - headphones, exercise
Worth it!! I've been waiting for this item to come out on the market. I've gone through about 5-6 pairs of different headsets. Earbuds would ALWAYS fall out after the first 2 steps of running. I think I may have a small ear canal? I then tried ones that wrap around your ear. That was okay but then after long runs they would start to get uncomfortable and hurt also the cord would snag if I turned my head.
This headset was a Very well thought out design. It uses 1 cord not 2 like alot of headphones out there. The cord is short maybe 18 inches long. This is nice because you don't have to worry about a cable flopping around when you run. It also comes with an extension cable that connects to make it longer if you want and has a volume adjuster attached if you need to change the volume on the fly. It fits very well and is very comfortable. I don't feel it when I run. The sound quality is a huge bonus. I'm happy with this purchase and I know there are alot of runners out there that have the same problem I had. I hope this review helps. Sennheiser Adidas PMX 680i Sports Headset
I had originally tried a pair of the Senheiser PMX80 headphones and they fit so terrible I had to return them. They were way too tight and gave me a headache. Other people said the same thing. These PMX 680's are a vast improvement in every way. They fit better, sound better, and look better. To clarify, these are not Adidas headphones, but are Senheiser with an Adidas branding.
The sound quality is great with strong base and crisp highs. They sound far better than your average headphone and light years better than crummy ipod buds. The fit is perfect and they are very lightweight. They are comfortable for long listening yet firm enough to stay put for vigorous runs. I wore them for over an hour the other day and they never moved and I hardly knew they were there. This is finally the perfect set of quality sounding headphones for exercising.
They come with a short cord for armband iPod players, and an extension cord with volume control if you want to pocket your player. The cord is strong and stays flexible even in cold weather. A couple things I should mention. While these are perfectly suited for aerobic type exercising, they don't work well for other types. Because of the neckband they will get pushed out of your ears if you lay back on anything, like a bench or exercise machine. Also, they will not fit with a snug beanie cap for running outside in cool weather, nor can I wear them under my snowboard helmet.
All in all these are fantastic headphones for what they are intended for, and are a vast improvement over previous Senheiser neckband headphones.
The first thing I want to comment on is the build quality. I have to assume people getting these headphones are probably running or working out with them. I have never had a pair of headphones that fit comfortably while running. Ear buds fall out (I swear my right ear is misshapen and pushes earbuds out), around the head headphones are uncomfortable and the earpads get hot and sweaty, and even a cheap set of earbuds I bought that are like the PMX680 and wrap around the ear didn't fit right and had a tendancy to fall out frequently.
The PMX680 is about as good as I can imagine for wearing while running. The headphones fit in the ear and do not budge, even if you give the cord a decent tug. The headphones themselves are made of flexible and light plastic that can probably take a pretty good beating but is fairly unobtrusive. The earbuds sit just outside of the ear canal and are made of a sticky (through friction) silicone like substance, but come with optional foam pads which I choose to use. The earbuds can cause some discomfort, they are a little tight in the ear canal and put a fair amount of pressure on it. I don't mind much because it isn't noticeable once I start running and even when I'm at work using the headphones at my desk it isn't much of an issue. The cord seems like its very sturdy at the connection sites to the headphones and the plug. I can't imagine it wearing out like other pairs of headphones have. The extension cord itself is also sturdy but the volume adjuster isn't terribly useful and feels a little cheap, however I wouldn't consider it a very important feature. The headphones come with a clip to pin the cord to your shirt and prevent it from pulling when you move, the extension cable also has a clip on the volume adjuster as well. Both of these can be handy.
The reason I give these headphones a 3 is the price and sound quality prevent it from earning a higher score. For $60 I expected better sound from them. The stock "premium" headphones that came from my zune sound better than these. The bass is nice and surprisingly punchy for earbuds, however the mids and high end sound weak and a little muffled. The sound quality is comparable, maybe a little better than an average pair of $20-$30 over ear headphones off the shelf at a Target or Best Buy (which are overpriced headphones to begin with).
In spite of the disappointing sound quality I'm happy with the purchase. The PMX680 should last me forever and sound quality isn't my number 1 concern when I'm running anyway. I just don't think they should be priced at $60. I expect more from Sennheiser based on the brand's reputation and other headphones I've had from them.
I've had problems in the past with other headphones falling out or being too tight and giving me a headache. Not so with these. I can barely feel them, and I don't have to worry about them at all. To try them out, I wore them in the office during several hours of online training. After a couple of hours, I did notice them there, but it was nothing compared to either of my other headphones (I have the standard iPhone set as well as a Motorola HT820 set). As one coworker stated the color of these is bright enough that I'd never misplace them.
I live in the desert and it isn't summer yet, but can still work up a pretty mean sweat while exercising outdoors. So far, I have had no problems with that being a problem for these headphones.
I love the short cord/long cord option since I hike and run with my iPhone on my upper arm. Other cords get in the way, even if I route them through my clothes or clips. The short one is just long enough to reach from my iPhone to the headphones with a little slack so I can still turn my head. If I had a complaint it would be that I had to move my phone to my left arm since the headphone cord comes out of the left side. Which reminds me of another bonus -- a single cord coming out of the headphones.
I'd hardly consider myself an audiophile, but they sound great to me, but I am still able to hear what is going on around me with the music at a reasonable volume.
For those interested, I went with these over Bluetooth-enabled headphones in order to conserve battery and not interfere with the iPhone's GPS. - Headphones - Earphones - Exercise - Sport Headphones'

Kitchen Sink Faucets
This is a very well-made (ask our grouchy plumber - even he had to admit it is beautiful) faucet that is unlike anything you will find at a big box store. It fits beautifully in our modern kitchen, but would look just as nice in a more traditional decor. The faucet is heavy and obviously made from superior material. I am hugely pleased with my purchase and cannot believe how reasonable this was. It is worth well more than twice the price. Euro Modern Contemporary 16" Pull Out Spout Kitchen Sink Faucet Brushed Nickel
I was a bit skeptical when I read reviews of a similar product of the same brand. But this faucet looks really nice, and is very much comparable to those of $200-300 ones. The accessories make the installation easier that I thought. It comes with a plain box with nothing about manufacture, and a 1-sheet parts diagram. Well, at this price, I really don't mind. It worked out very well for me.
It's a beautiful faucet. Our plumber had no problems installing & as he was finishing he commented that a lot of people go cheap on their faucets, only spending $80, and he was glad we went for quality. He was amazed when I told him the price!
This is a really good looking faucet that turned out to be even better looking than the package photo. It seems well made - but I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability. It was easy to install and works well. Even though the package calls it "contemporary" it fit nicely into my traditional home. It's possible that the picture isn't precise, as there is a small design lip on the pull out section of the faucet - adds to its charm in my book, so I was pleased. Guess the picture on the purchase site is too small to show it.'

Stand - stand, tools-bench drill press
I decided to write this review since it didn't have a very good rating. I've had my drill press since April 2008 and I use it quite often. I haven't had any problems. It does everything I need. It drills very straight without wobble. I do woodworking and pen turning. It was easy to set up, although it was very heavy so I needed assistance placing the top portion on the lower portion. Like one reviewer wrote, it's a table top but it's not small. It's works and acts like a full size press. If you're looking for a press that is portable or that you can move around your bench, this isn't for you. I put mine on a cabinet I built that has wheels so I can move it around the garage.
I would highly recommend it.
***May 25, 2010 Update***
Still using the drill press, a lot, and still working great and I would still recommend it. JET 354165 JDP-15M 3/4-HP 15-Inch Bench Drill Press
For those of you who need a quality drill press, but whose shops are a little small for a floor-standing model, this is probably your best bet. Combined with a quality drill press vise (6" or larger), you can do just about anything. I build custom furniture and use this press for numerous purposes, and can confidently drill accurate stopped holes in curved hardwood stock without problems.
The press comes via freight in a single box. It is HEAVY but can be man-handled around on the ground without too much issue. You will need to assemble the press out of the box. Assembly is very easy - until you need to lift the drill head and motor housing onto the column. It is possible to do it yourself if you are tall and strong, but I recommend having a helper because it is a bit of a workout.
All parts are well-machined and HEAVY. The base and column are substantial pieces of metal, and the worktable is larger than most. Fit and finish are good - the work table moves easily on the column without too much play, and the clamp handles to lock down the table require little effort to utilize and hold the table very securely. Out of the box the machined metal will be greasy and dirty - you will want to wipe it down with a good degreaser like WD40 to clean it up before use. Not necessary, but you might also want to run a metal file around the table edges and slots to make sure there aren't any sharp burrs left after machining. Once assembled, this is a HEAVY piece of equipment. I keep mentioning the weight, but my last benchtop drill press I was able to move around pretty easily and scoot it on the top of a worktable. Even sitting on an old towel, it is hard to push this drill press around even a few inches. This is good if you are looking for a solid, stable work surface. It is not so good if you like to pull it forward to work, and push it back out of the way between jobs.
In use, the drill is very accurate, with minimal run-out (so-called drill bit "wobble") which is the bane of most cheap drill presses. Proper setup of the spindle and chuck during assembly is required to get perfect accuracy, but once setup properly, the machine continues to perform accurately without additional adjustment. The on/off switch in the front of the machine is large, easy to access, and feels substantial so that you aren't left wondering when the switch is going to malfunction. A very nice feature on this drill is the dedicated work light which is located inside the drill head behind the bit. The light takes standard medium base bulbs, and is controlled via a separate rocker switch on the side of the drill head, so you can turn the light on and off independent of the operation of the drill. The light provides good task lighting from BEHIND the bit - an area that is normally shadowed if you are only using ambient shop lighting - and makes it much easier to line up your drilling work.
Changing drill speeds require shifting belts in the drill head (as in all non-variable speed drill presses). Fortunately, this task is made simpler by the degree to which the motor slides easily on rails to allow slack in the drive belts. To change speeds you simply loosen side-mounted motor housing clamp, slide the motor slightly towards the drill head (providing slack in the belts), adjust the belts, slide the motor back away from drill head (tightening the belts), and lock it down with the clamp. This operation can be a hassle if the motor does not slide easily, but is pretty effortless in the case of this press.
The drill depth gauge is located on the side of the drill head, and has positive and negative stops. The positive stop is a locking stop, so your setting will not start to drift if you are executing repetitive drills that all have to be the same uniform depth. The depth gauge works well and accurately.
The work table can be set at an angle, but I have not used this feature since I prefer to keep my table always set square and angle the work on the table (via a vise). The angle setting for the work table is located beneath the table, and there is a small angle gauge there to allow you to eyeball an angle setting. If you decide to use this feature, I would highly recommend you purchase an electronic angle gauge (one of the magnetic ones) so that you can set your table angle more accurately than what can be accomplished using the small gauge that is attached to the drill press.
My last comment is to suggest that you purchase a good drill press vise for use with this press. A drill press vise will add a great degree of accuracy and control, and when setup properly will increase the speed with which you can execute repetitive drilling or angled holes. It is much better to keep your table flat and work with an angled vise, than to try to angle your work table with your work piece clamped to it. Personal opinion :)
In summary, I recommend this drill press for anyone who is looking for power, accuracy and weight in the smallest possible package. A drill press is a very simple machine when it works the way it should - but will cause no end of nightmares if it doesn't. The Jet 15" bench top drill press has been for me a very dependable and reliable machine. - Stand - Drill Presses - Tools-bench Drill Press'

Nail Clipper - finger nail clipper, amazing
Each of us has certain tools or accessories in which we are more or less interested than the average person. Maybe you're totally wrapped up in finding "the ultimate hammer" where, to me, it's no big deal. I suspect that I am a lot more interested in a quality nail clipper than the average person who's sufficiently satisfied with the chrome plated items we find in most drugstores and grocery stores. If the average nail clipper you find in the local store is good enough for you, then there's no reason to read this review.
Personally, I find the typical chrome plated, "inexpensive" nail clipper to be utterly maddening. Why? A) the chrome plating often starts falling off before you even open the package and it begins to fall off even faster when you begin using the clippers; B) the cutting edge on most brands is utterly inconsistent. If I buy two pair of a given brand, I find one clips just fine while the second gets about half way through my nail and decides it's just too much work and I end up tearing the nail instead of clipping it. C) The clippers tend to fall apart WAY too fast, with the thumb lever becoming loose and wobbly in no time. D) The metal is such low quality that any significant encounter with water gets them rusting like crazy. E) Even the better ones have such poorly shaped cutting edges that they'd be better described as "nail crunchers", leaving a rough edge instead of a smooth, clean edge. Some cutting edges are so poor they won't even cut cleanly through loose skin around the nail.
If these gripes about the common nail clipper ring a bell with you, then I strongly suggest you try the Seki Edge Stainless Steel Nail Clipper.
First off, it's stainless steel, not chrome plated ... no flakes of chrome getting imbedded under your fingernails ... no rusting after a few days in damp shower kit. Second, the construction is sturdy and substantial, not flimsy. Third, the cutting edge is masterful, delivering a clean, smooth cut every time ... a cut accompanied by a satisfying CLICK!! that tells you it's cut cleanly through the nail. Forth, the mechanism is designed to work smoothly with no ill fitting, loose or wobbly parts. It's simply the best fingernail clipper I've EVER used and I can highly recommend it.
Given that people's priorities do vary, there are a few product details you should consider before purchasing ... if you like a fingernail file built into your clipper, you won't find one here. Personally, when I need a file (which isn't often with this true edged clipper), I use the one in my smallest Swiss Army Knife. Second, there is no round hole in the base of the clipper to which to attach a chain or key ring. There are two narrow slots through which a small diameter chord could be fitted, but nothing big enough to support a chain or key ring. Lastly, this item is made of substantial stainless steel, so it's considerably heavier than most clippers. If that's likely to bother you, keep it in mind.
I have NO regrets about this great clipper and I'm SO glad I got it. Seki Edge Stainless Steel Fingernail Clipper
Same quality and a third the price of henkels branded clippers I bought 7 years ago in Tokyo. Cuts cleanly and maintains sharp edge. Bonus for style points. This is the cadillac of clippers and will last a life time.
This product along with the Seki Edge Toe Nail Clipper are simple tools that help make life a little more enjoyable and easier. These also make nice gifts for family and friends as they will be pleasantly surprised by the build quality, design, and sharp blades.
Some of my thoughts:
- Cost: Yes initially they are more expensive than the cheaper ones but after having used them for over 6 months, it looks like it will last longer. However, these are not to the point of out-of-reach high luxury items with gold plating and studded with diamonds. They are probably more expensive because of quality build, carefully thought out design, and the use of good materials and processes. I also contacted Seki Edge through e-mail and confirmed that they are made in Japan which also probably contributes to the higher price.
- Features: It would have been nice if these nail clippers came with a file. The cheaper ones I've seen have this feature and can be pretty handy to help smooth out the nail after cutting. However, if you are mainly using it for manicure or pedicure purposes at home, then you can always buy a separate file for the job. Also note that in addition to not having a file it also does not have a finger/toe jam picker. Hey it sounds nasty but this is all part of the cleaning process! But it's okay because if I see jam, I'd rather just cut my nails short and give them a good washing.
- White Sticker: The white rectangular shaped sticker with "Seki Edge" logo in red and black looks like it might come off over time. I wish they instead engraved or stamped their name or even kept it off entirely. This of course is not a big issue but my first impression was that this sticker somewhat cheapened the look.
- Size: Another first impression was that these clippers are not small or travel sized. Possibly the ergonomic design and leverage needed to cut with ease contributes to a slightly bulkier product design compared to the cheaper ones. Despite this bulkiness, I can see this clipper being ergonomically friendly for those with large or small hands.
- Quality: The build quality is like a tank and yet it feels nice to hold in the hand. Also when you open and twist the handles, it flows smoothly and it does not feel like it will fall off or disconnect like the cheaper ones often do. I notice a hint of metal to metal sound when turning the handles, which probably will produce scratch marks over time, but this is not such a big issue to me. I am not sure what the two slots on the edge of the handle are for but I assume that it is for style and to help lighten the weight. I also appreciate the stainless steel material. The brushed stainless steel found on the body and the smooth sandblasted surface look on the handle is nicer than the chrome plated or "gold" plated shiny ones typically found elsewhere. The angles and curvatures throughout the design also contribute to a nice looking clipper. The blades are what really set itself apart from the competition. You can really feel that the perfectly aligned sharp blades actually grip your nails before proceeding to clip off the nail crisply and assuredly. I wonder though how long the blades will last over time. Thankfully I understand that this is twice tempered steel and that it can be sharpened. As with any tool you need to get used to it. I recommend cutting a little less nail in the beginning until you get the hang of it (no pun intended). For me I got a little carried away in the beginning and I cut off too much nail. After a day of handling items, opening doors, and typing on the computer, I noticed my nail was slightly separated from the finger on the very tip causing it to be sore (sorry for those who are squeamish). Anyway, there is also sometimes a clicking noise after immediately following each nail clip depending on the amount of force you give. This sound assures you that the clipper did its job and is ready for the next "bite".
Overall I found these two tools to be a nice and helpful addition to my everyday life. The fact that I know that I do not have to struggle with low quality clippers (easily dull and misaligned blades and small design that is hard to hold and slips when given too much pressure) when clipping my nails gives me peace of mind. For a few bucks more, I consider this to be a significant upgrade. If it were up to me, I would rate these 4.5 stars out of 5 because it is not absolutely perfect but close to it. However I will give these 5 stars since this is the best nail clipper I have ever experienced.
As a side note I feel like these nail clippers give the similar unexplainable good feeling that is produced by Felco Classic Pruners Felco Classic Manual Hand Pruner #F-2 (for gardening purposes which I highly recommend) when using it and yielding great results. If you own one you know what I mean. - Clippers - Seki Edge - Finger Nail Clipper - Amazing'

Hammer Drill - milwaukee
Is it perfect? No, Is it well worth the money? Yes I'm a little biased because I use to work for Hilti, but I do like this drill. On the down side it spins at speeds more like a wood drill and seems a little to foused on drilling and not enough on the punch that really does the job. On the plus side I paid $200.00 for it and that makes it less then half the price of the comparable hilti. It's also cheaper then the comparable Bosch. Usually cheaper electropneumatic drills will vibrate alot more. This one was smooth and didn't transmit much vibration. It's a steal if you can get it at the price I did. At $200 it's in the price range of cheap cam action drills. Milwaukee 5363-21 1-Inch Compact SDS Rotary Hammer with Anti-Vibration System - Milwaukee'

Gymboss - interval training, gymboss
This item is wonderfully functional. First, it is the perfect size as it is small, but the screen is big enough so that I can read the numbers at arm's length. It also lets you know when your intervals are done quite well. When I run with headphones, I use the vibrate mode and it is enough for me to notice. When I am working out inside with loud music, I am able to hear its audible warning. I am surprised by it durability. I have had the Gymboss for a two months now and it has already fallen from my hand on my bike (I was setting and riding) and once it feel into a puddle and it still works great.
The instructions aren't that great the first time you program it, so you may have to go to the gymboss website, but after the first try it is intuitive. Also, I worried when the shipping window was a few weeks out, but I got my timer in 4 business days.
This timer does everything I need it to. Gymboss CAMO SOFTCOAT
I was worried when I received the invoice saying that it could take up to a month to arrive, but I shouldn't have worried: it came three days later via first class mail. It's much smaller than I expected--I guess I thought it'd be the size of a pager, but it's almost half the size, which is great. It takes one AAA battery, which isn't included. The instructions are clear and once you play with it it becomes very self-explanatory (easier to program than, say, a digital watch). The camo softcoat is great; I don't want to be bedecked in pink when I'm out running, so this is right up my alley.
The only reason this didn't get more stars for me is that I find the "vibrate" option WAY too low. I run on the sidewalks in a city, so granted, I'm probably getting a little more shock/vibration with my stride than someone running on a softer surface, but I couldn't even feel it clipped to my waistband, even when I set it to a longer 5-second pulse. It's ok, because the "loud" option (there's a "loud" and "regular" beep) is more than adequate, it just makes people look at me when it goes off as I'm passing. ;) Eh.
3.5 stars. For the price, let's just hope it's durable!
It has helped me stay focused and get interval workouts done quickly and efficiently. I've got a busy life and it's hard to fit in gym time. This thing helps me jump up in the morning, warm up and get a good cardio sweat going so I don't feel like a lazy slug the rest of the day. I had bought two and the other had the battery case kept falling open so I threw it away. I wouldn't say it's a polished piece of electronics, but it is sturdy and does what it should. - Gymboss - Interval Training'

Balls - video games
I know there was a lot of criticism about this game. But I have to disagree with all the terrible reviews out there. I played Duke back when I was younger and fondly remember playing Duke Nukem 64 for hours on end. This game brings back the memories. This game in my opinion was well worth the wait. I have waited for this game for a long time. Duke Nukem Forever is by no means for children, it is definitely intended for adults. Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel Edition
I am a l o n g time fan of Duke. So reading this review you know that I am not just some one who wants to run their mouth. I think the game is terrible. And I know its because its not the game they have been working on for 12 years. Try more like a year, the company decided to quick release a cheap run through. You can tell by looking at the history and the final product.
Pros
+Duke Nukem quotes and humor
Cons
-LOading Time
-Same 5 weapons in the whole game only carrying 2 at a time
-Boring game play
-No want to ever replay
As for the special balls of steel package its a cheat package. Everything is 10 times smaller in real life than in the picture. Dont waste your hard earned money on this game or balls of steel package.
I give this an average rating, but the collector's version is all a misogynist could ever want! All the little knick knacks and extra items make it a little special, like being the Duke himself. Granted, I have no idea where to display the items such as the deck of cards or the dice or the poker chips, but just having them in the junk drawer makes me feel a little more awesome and a full force of male bravado. The contents are a 5/5, the game, as stated, is about average.
I am an old school gamer and Duke was one of my first pc games I played. I bought this for the nostalgia factor. It had some fun factor but does not hold up in todays gaming. A good buy if you can get it at a cheap price but not worth the usual $59.99 of modern day games.
(XBOX 360) Great game. Fun and in my opinion quite funny game always pokes fun at other games and culture references like the spinning top from INCEPTION like how duke hates VALVE puzzles and says "power armor is for p***ies" referring to master chiefs armor. game play has no major issues in campaign only problem is that i think the aim assist is a little toned down compared to other triple A titles (HALO REACH, HALO 3, COD) and load times can be quite long sometimes but other than that its fine. graphics are usually good but yo-yo up and down with some scenes looking great and others a little dated. frame rate is solid.
I bought this game for my husband. In his opinion it was worth the money. I think that being a fan of the original helps his opinion. The original definitely was lower quality in comparison to today's games so I understand that there was improvements. However, when I found out it took 12 years for this game to be completed, I expected a little more quality for a game that was put out today. Overall, I think this is one of the worse games ever created content wise. However, if you are a fan of the Duke Nukem character then I'm sure you'll like it. I just don't like how women are depicted in this game nor do I agree with condoning derogatory names for police officers. My ranking is based off of my husband's (an obvious fan) opinion.
I played the original Dukes, read the previews, the hype, and all the behind the scenes "who did who wrong" backstory of 15 years Forever being labeled as vaporware. My feeling going in was, "I will give this a chance to prove everyone wrong". So, with diminished expectations and fond memories of past Duke, I plunged head first into the the game that defied the expectations of ever seeing the light of day.
Whatever is under the bottom of a scraping barrel, Duke Nukem Forever is under that.
Stiff, barely mobile character movement, graphics that would make the original Deus Ex (2000) giggle, cringe worthy jokes (sexist I can deal with, lame, not so much), a story that can't even make the effort to pretend to be a claptrap of other alien invasion stories, and linear gameplay that was suffocating at the best of times made this the worst game I have played in ten years. Being a product of it's time does not make for a valid defense, it's a buggy, unfinished, static mess.
And it would be different if it were bad in a fun way or an entertaining way, but ultimately it feels like the game is a spiritual reflection of the total collapse of it's 3D Realms's creators ambitions and ultimate failure in finishing this game. There is no heart, no energy, nothing fun or interesting, it feels like code death warmed over. It is a perfunctory effort that at best opens the way for an actually good sequel in this franchise to follow and worst, is a naked cash grab on a terrible product.
The Balls of Steel Edition does come with some fun things (I especially like the dice and the paper Duke), but not worth shelling out the additional cash on an already overpriced game. Duke Nukem Forever should have sold for $20 at most as a downloadable game (XBLA for example) and not a full priced product.
Hopefully this is not the last of Duke and Gearbox puts 100% effort into the next Nukem. - Video Games'

Bostitch Nailer
We never received the o-ring kit which was ordered prior to a home project requiring the kit to fix my nailer. Then weeks later, on Friday I get an email saying that I had been refunded because I had returned the item!
This was the worst attempt at an online purchase I have ever made. I have bought through Amazon before without a problem, but this caused serious disappointment and made my project much harder than it had to be. O-Ring Kit - Ork1 O-Ring Kit T40/T50/N60fn'

Yoga Accessories
The logo print on the front of the bag is very nice. There are three pockets which is great. In the back of the bag, there are two small pockets, one velcro and the other a zipper. On the velcro pocket, (if you have a couple of keys on your keychain) it ended up fitting just fine. I use the zipper pocket to hold my gym card/driver's license which fits perfectly. The big pocket in the front of the bag is nice too, which holds my gym towel. Although it is not big enough to put a bottle of water in, so I just ended up putting it in with my yoga mat which fits perfectly. The only complaint I have is that the shoulder strap is not adjustable. When carrying the bag over my shoulder, the strap is too big (gappy), too much room in which the bag moves around too much, so I end up just carrying it like a normal bag in my hand. Gaiam Printed Yoga Mat Bag (Damask)
This is a great Yoga bag, I had seen so many reviews about the mat not fitting into the bag. This bag is perfect with room to spare and I can even get my gym outfit and towel in there with the mat. It has a special compartment for your phone, keys and wallet if you are carrying one! I love it!
I researched for a while before buying this bag. My main concern was that the strap was not adjustable and so would be uncomfortable to carry, and that it was white and would stain easily - I found both to be unfounded. Although it probably would be better with an adjustable strap - I am clumsy and keep hitting my fellow beings as I wander the streets - it is actually the perfect length and very handy on my bike (even when I have another bag underneath it fits great). In addition, it is super roomy and I can schlep all my stuff with me and I can even get some small shop-bought items squeezed in (save the environment style, i.e. no plastic shopping bags). it has a perfect little pouch for my iphone and another little zipped mini pocket for that one thing you need to get really quickly (I normally put my keys in there). The only real downside is the clasp on the front pouch is one of those loop through belts and a little unwieldy - I would have preferred a button, zip or velcro; but hey, the front pouch has a rubberized edge and the flap gives me more space when I squeeze things in, so all in all a great buy.
I really love this bag, very handy and well constructed - large pocket is perfect for a water bottle or other large/tall item (not big enough for a yoga block). The bag has two other smaller pockets (one w/ zipper; other w/ velcro) ideal for keys and cell phone. Bag zippers from top to bottom for easy in/out for the yoga mat - plenty big enough for one mat, but not two mats. I like the color/design too, but for me, secondary to function.
This bag has four features that make it perfect for me: big enough for my mat, a side zipper for easy in and out, a side pocket for a strap and it's light and not bulky.
If you are looking for a bag, don't consider anything without a side zipper. Getting a mat in and out of a bag that has a top zipper only or drawstring is a major pain. Plus the drawstring style top doesn't keep dust out all that well, particularly problematic if you have a household with pets.
My first bag was beautiful, but my mat was a tight fit, and it was a pain to get in and out. It wasn't even a very good mat.
I've looked at some of the bigger bags that have more accessory space, it would be nice to have a place for a block or two, but they end up being too bulky.
My only wish, is that it would come in more colour and pattern combinations.
When I started my yoga classes, I wondered if I really needed a mat bag, but I'm glad I got it. It holds my yoga mat, keys, and small purse and has a very cute design on the front. I don't have to carry anything else to class. I got it from Amazon because they had the best price.
While the picture makes the bag look like its a tan color, its more of a cream. This yoga mat bag has plenty of space. I have a thicker gaiam mat that fits in this bag comfortably. The large side pocket is elasticized on top and has a buckle down tab. This pocket has enough room for my keys and a small purse with room to spare. There are 2 more smaller pockets that I haven't used.
When the mat is out of the bag, I can fit my fleece jacket in the bag during yoga practice.
Would recommend this bag for all yogis.
I love that there are secure pockets that I can stash my cell phone, membership card, wallet, etc. Also, I have an extra long mat and it fits with no problems. For me, a bag works better than a strap for my yoga mat because I hang it in the hallway ready to go and the bag keeps the mat protected from my dogs and cat--animal fur on yoga mat can be annoying. I can take or leave the print on the bag.
I knew this would be a quality item since it's from Gaiam, but I didn't expect to be so in love with it: the pockets are quite spacious, with plenty of room for everything I want to bring with me to practice. The design isn't faded anywhere, applied well and evenly. I really couldn't be happier with my purchase!
Overall, I'm pretty happy with this bag, considering the price. The side zipper makes it easy to take my mat in and out. However, based on other people's reviews, I thought it would be a bit bigger, which was something that was important to me. I do hot yoga, so in addition to my yoga mat, water bottle, and thin towel for class, I also bring a towel for showering off afterwards, as well as a change of clothes and basic toiletries. Unfortunately, I can't fit everything in there. However, I would recommend this bag to anyone who doesn't bring as much stuff as I do.
This bag is just perfect to bring to and from the yoga studio. Plenty of room for your rolled up mat, plus a folded yogitoes towel and a hand towel for sweat. You could probably store another shirt in here too for after a hot yoga class. The front pocket holds a water bottle just fine, could probably fit two. Nice durable fabric, and cute design too! I've gotten many compliments. Its also easy to carry upright along your back or hanging from your shoulder horizontally.'

Hardwood Floor Nailer - hardwood floor nailer, pneumatic
I'm doing a hardwood flooring with 5/8" thick mahogany solid wood on a
couple of rooms. Because the rooms are not flat (both have a couple of
steps) it took 8 days to finish the flooring and renting was as expensive
as buying one. (checked HomeDepot $35/day and another rental company $30/day)
It looks like Porter-Cable FCN200 seems to be very popular, but over $300
made me hesitant. I seriously considered Bostitch MFN200 Manual Flooring
Cleat Nailer, but after a lot of questions to Bostitch and a couple of
dealers, I found out that it can be used only fo 3/4" thick floorings.
So, I went with this pneumatic floor nailer.
I ordered the one that can be used for cleat nails only, but what I
received was for both cleat nails as well as staples, which was a nice
surprise. People said cleat nails would be more strong in terms of holding
the panels to the sub-floor and I ordered bostitch nails at amazon.
Shipping was pretty quick - delivered in 2 days from the order - and the
tools is very solid. 3-4 panels had the nails bent between the panel and
sub floor, maybe because the nailer was not placed correctly. Otherwise,
it worked pretty well.
It has several pad that can be used for different thickness of the
floorings, which was really good for me.
Overall, at this price, this cannot go wrong at all and much better
solution than renting one. Akuzuki Top Quality 2-in-1 Pneumatic Hardwood Floor Flooring Air Cleat Nailers and Stapler
I just finished my hardwood flooring project using this nailer. It turned out fantastic. This nailer is solid and durable and during the installation of about 1200 sqft, never had a single issue of any kind.
I got this instead of renting one from a local improvement store. I knew I would spend more renting given my time constraints. I used it to lay about 200 square feet of red oak. I had two misfires, but they were my fault. I ran through 1600+ nails without a jam otherwise. The build quality is not the same as the $4-500 name brand units, but it's not bad, and for me it doesn't matter how the nail gets into the board as long is it gets there. The depth in red oak was perfect, I only hand set a couple where the angle was getting awkward in a corner, and I couldn't strike the head properly.
It was leaking air at first, but tightening down the bolts with the supplied wrench took care of that (several tools are supplied). There were no torque values indicated, so I used "common sense" torque to avoid warping anything. The shoe on the bottom is maybe not perfectly square, but it was never an issue. It would probably benefit from forcing on a bicycle handle grip for comfort, mine was wrapped in a foam tape.
I intend to use this tool for two more rooms, and I feel like it was a good value. It paid for itself in the first room for me, but again, I had only a couple hours per day window to work. I would recommend this item to anyone who wants to take their time without rushing a rental clock. It performed as expected, no complaints. I used 2" Bostitch L nails, but it can handle staples as well.
No problems with the order, the shipping was quick, everything was included.
4 stars instead of 5 due to build quality imperfections, having to tighten up bolts which should have been tested at the factory.
I just received the nailer and used it for the first time this weekend to install 5/8" T&G Bamboo flooring in my son's kitchen. What I received was the dual staple/cleat nailer. After putting on the right foot plate, it comes with 2, I test fired a 2" cleat nail and found it to be too long and risked tearing off the tongue of the flooring board. I went looking for 1 1/2 inch cleat nails locally & when I couldn't find anything but the 2" size, I purchased 1 1/2" staple. I loaded the nailer with the stapes and started the job. The nailer worked great! You need to test fire a few staples to get the right air pressure and tune you "strike" force, but after that it was effortless. I had used a manual nailer previously to install about 500 sq. feet of oak flooring and there is no comparison. The Bamboo was about twice as dense as the oak and using the pneumatic nailer, the bamboo went down at least twice as fast and with less pain! The thing you want to be careful with when nailing down dense Bamboo is that it is so dense and if you are close to the end of the board or edge, you will split it. Pre-drill for yore first 2 rows and the use the nailer. Instead of nails for the first 2 rows, I opted for 1 1/2" headless screws (you can get these at any home store). They worked great & you don't have to worry about dimpling if you use a nail & miss. I'm not done with the project yet, but so far I recommend the nailer whole heartily.
I am a wood-turner that until now has never installed hardwood floors. I had the occasion to help with an installation at a dance studio and decided from that to install a hardwood floor on an addition I had planned. While searching for a pneumatic floor nailer I found this one, and after reading the reviews decided to give it a try. I was happy I did. It performed much better than the one we used for the studio and at a portion of the cost. I would like to also mention the delivery time was great. I saved more than what it would have cost me to rent one for the job and I have it to help friends and family. What a deal.
I'm not sure what I was expecting at half the price of a name brand competitor, but when it came with a carrying case with a spare base plate I was already impressed. The nailer worked flawlessly and is solidly constructed. The bottom plate is slightly longer than other floor nailers I've used so you may have to hand nail an extra row of flooring to get started, but otherwise it's well worth the money. - Highly Recommended - Hardwood Floor Nailer - Pneumatic - Recommend'
