Gift Idea - lamy, clear

I am a college mathematics student and thus i find myself writing a lot. I write notes in class, recopy them, write down proofs over and over, as well as write out a lot of homework. Being a student means that I'm also on a budget! Thus, having a nice, inexpensive pen is key to my success.

I love fountain pens over ball point pens because you don't have to press so hard to write. Pressing hard for so long turns writing into a painful task. This particular pen is actually designed for comfort and I have no problem writing with it for hours on end. It has a slightly triangular grip which makes it easy to hold, and it is also very light. The strong clip on its cap is such that the pen never rolls off any desk.

The nibs or tips of these pens are very strong and can take a lot of abuse. They have the same fine craftmanship as the more expensive lamy pens, but, the body being made of a plastic makes these pens very affordable. I am no expert on plastics but the one this pen is made from is a very high quality and strong. I don't imagine the body of this pen would break even if you drove over it in a car.

Adding to the inexpensiveness of these pens is that, with a converter cartridge, they are also refillable. You have to buy this cartridge separately, but it is only a few dollars, and available wherever the pens are sold. With an extra fine nib, one bottle of ink easily lasts me a year and I drain a normal pen in a day or two. The clear plastic converter cartridge is one which you twist in order to refill it. I like the cartridge much better than the more traditional squeeze and fill ink bladders which are messier and you can't see how much ink is actually in them.

This pen in particular has an interesting look. It is see through, which is fun to look at but also helpful because I can see how much ink I have left and know if I need to refill it before class.

A decent single use pen can cost you 5 dollars easily. The initial price of this pen is more but it will last you forever as well as spoil you with a writing quality far above that of a decent 5 dollar single use pen. Fountain pens in general have a timeless style and this one is especially good looking. It is designed for comfort and most of all, its really cheap! Lamy Safari Vista Fountain Pen - Demonstrator Clear, Extra-Fine Nib L12XF

Of all the fine pens I own (including Montblanc, Pelikan, Waterman and several antique pens) the Lamy Safari is the pen I use the most. As the previous reviewer mentions, it's supremely light, which supports/encourages long bouts of writing, and the nib, while steel, is flexible but strong and emits just the right amount of ink for consistently legible writing (I prefer the Fine nib). Additionally, one can pull the nib out from the plastic casing to better clean the pen, when called for, something one cannot do with many other fountain pens. Overall, Lamy makes a great product across the board, but for a fountain pen under $30, there are few on par with the Safari.

Strong clip, tough workhorse pen in a shape that won't roll off the desk, comfortable grip, and cool see-through body gets this pen noticed at work. Make sure to get the EF nib though, which is similar to an American fine. Anything else is hugely broad in my view. broad nibs take up too much ink and are not as comfortable to write with, but that is a very debatable opinion, I realize.

The nib has a unique velvety feel to it and is firm, but not a nail, meaning it has a teensy bit of give. I see architects with these sometimes, because they have a cool gadgety look. Lightweight pen is very long with the cap posted. I really should get a few more of these, though the clear one is the coolest-looking. Get a syringe (and good luck with that; no one will believe you are not a drug addict) and fill up your empty carts each time to avoid tossing plastic, or use a converter.

This is strange, but my handwriting is slightly different depending on the pen I use (and I only write with fountain pens). I really like the version I get with this pen, so I guess I can say the Lamy Vista improves my handwriting. This is from a person who has hundreds of pens, mostly low-end, good quality workhorses from Pilot and other Asian companies. I still love my German Lamys and Pelikans too. Write on!

It's a quality pen, writes smoothly and without skipping. The Lamy logo on the vista is not molded into the plastic as with the Safari, rather it is printed on with a silver film, which is prone to scratch if it mixes in with keys and the like (my pens take some abuse as I clip them inside the pocket of my jeans). I find the EF nib often more practical than my F Lamy Safari or F Lamy 2000 (which writes more like an M). The Vista is my current every day carry pen. Pick up a little red converter as soon as you can, it not only allows you to use any bottled ink (I love noodlers) but it looks pretty cool in the clear body too.

It is a big plastic pen. The Vista Demo Clear is practical that you can tell how much ink left. I used it with the Z24 safari converter with Parker Quink ink. The Extra Fine nib is wider than fine, not extra fine. The width of it is mainly depends on the paper you use and the speed you write. In brief, it is a very good fountain pen.

I'm essentially echoing comments similar to the aforementioned. The Vista arrived with an extra-fine steel nib. The Vista, with its transparent barrel and cap, brilliant inner chrome workings, and red Z24 converter is a very cool looking pen to me ... modern, hi-tech, and light weight. This is a high quality pen, and for the price, perhaps the most value-based fountain pen on the market. The extra-fine nib with the Z24 converter writes smoothly, evenly and without skipping. So, in addition to a great nib, there's an excellent ink flow system. The Z24 fills completely and I recommend it highly. The Lamy logo while not molded into the plastic looks appropriate for the Vista. The clip works very well which is good for me as I am a bit nit-picky about clips. The cap is a friction fit which I like for fast access, and it has just enough oompf to it while not being so strong that ink gets sucked out on cap removal.

This is not a pen with heft, it's light in weight. I find it most comfortable uncapped and not posted when writing. When posted it is very long, top heavy, and for me too awkward feeling. Additionally, one can pull the nib out from the plastic casing to better clean the pen, something one cannot do with many other fountain pens. You don't need to press hard for the ink to appear on paper which relieves hand strain. I find the extra fine nib to be perfect for everyday uses. The strong clip is a yielding one, the shape of this tough workhorse will prevent it from rolling off the desk, and triangular thin grip is strange for me, but isn't bad. I definitely recommend buying this pen. - Fountain Pens - Clear - Lamy - Pen'

Adventure - action, download

This is on of the most anticipated games to be ported to PCs. For this, the Director's Cut edition was produced, adding some content over the console versions (mostly rooftop action missions), and care was taken to make the gamepad to keyboard/mouse-transition as seamless as possible. For the most part it was successful.

This is a TREMENDOUSLY BEAUTIFULLY GAME. The first thing that grabs you is how REAL the city environments feel. The graphics are just OUT OF THIS WORLD! You will need a very good PC to enjoy their full potential (minimum requirements provided below), but real skies, dynamic shadows, facial expressions and realistically flowing robes are only beginning to describe it! Run on a roof and the other citizens will gather around and comment on your crazy behavior! Throw someone on a vendor's cart and he will come after you complaining about his ruined produce! And the city is alive well beyond your character. If only BIOWARE could take some lessons for its next BALDUR's GATE...

Adding to this is the wonderful sound! From the crowd murmurs and the NTCs cries for help, to the whistling of the wind and the well-chosen background music, a good sound-card and speakers set is recommended to truly enjoy this game. If you have a 5.1 speaker system (I do not) I can imagine the experience to become even more immersing.

As to the gameplay, you control Altaïr ibn La-Ahad ("The Flying One, Son of None"). He is a member of the Assassin Brotherhood that sides, well, with both...sides, during the 3rd Crusade. In a story twist, he is also your ancestor, the game being your/his flashback memories. This is a twist I could do without, but I would guess it lays groundwork for the sequels.

The Third person perspective works beautifully and will never loose your interest. Most missions require sneaking and murdering in the shadows. Others will have you eavesdropping for passwords or pickpocketing documents to gain access into target buildings. Some will have you sharpen those sword skills. Still, the game does not avoid its share of stupid "keep this...suicidal character from getting killed" missions. Keep in mind though that ASSASSIN's CREED is rather a strategically thinking action TPS, not a hack&slash fast-paced one.

Controlling your character with a keyboard/mouse takes a lot of getting used to as you have to manage running, climbing, fighting as well as modifying your actions from low to high visibility. The keys are remapable but their complexity will never let you forget you are playing a game. Now for some bad news.

These are the official MINIMUM Requirements:

* Pentium D 2.6GHz (YES, Dual Core!) (or AMD equivalent)

* 1GB RAM (WinXP) or 2GB (WinVISTA) (3GB RECOMMENDED!)

* nVidia 6800 (or Shader Model 3.0 compliant or ATI equivalent)

* Dual-Layer DVD-ROM (or BluRay disc)

* 12GB HDD Space (although my install folder was no larger than 7GB)

As one can see, this is worse than CRYSIS! What I cannot get is how on earth ASSASSIN works on only 512MB of RAM of the XBox, yet it is recommended to have...3GB of RAM on a PC! Sure, the extra content is nice but who did the porting, unpaid interns? Has ANY PC optimization been attempted at all?

Keep also in mind that (as with CRYSIS) in order to fully enjoy the game, barely meeting the minimum requirements means you will barely experience the game. I refuse to deal with WinVISTA so, obviously, this review pertains to DirectX-9. The game is also DirectX-10 compatible, something I cannot comment on though. And now for some good news.

UBISOFT has been recently hit with a $5million class-action suit for hardware (OK, "allegedly") damaged by StarForce bundled with its games. Since, they have announced to be abandoning its StarForce partnership - so let's all rejoice: unlike other UBISOFT games, ASSASSIN's CREED does NOT sport StarForce! Instead, a much milder SafeDisc is used.

It is a pity it took litigation to finally listen to their own customers (suing StarForce would make much more sense, but try finding them in Russia!), but let's count our blessings.

So, overall, this is a well made and beautiful, immersing (although quite short) game that needed more work in PC optimization (where it looses 1 star Overall) and character control (where it looses 1 star for Fun).

As Altair himself would have put it: "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted."

Well, not everything - and certainly NOT StarForce. Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut Edition [Download]

Just a warning... if you have a standard non-widescreen monitor, the pc version of Assassin's Creed is locked in at a widescreen ratio. There is no option for full screen either. Which means that it will play on a standard monitor but the black bars on top and bottom are huge! They take up half the screen. This might be something to consider before purchasing this game if you have a standard full screen size monitor. It doesn't matter which resolution you choose, the black bars will be huge on a regular 4:3 monitor. I chose 1024 x 768, 1280 x 960, and 1280 x 1024: all the same: huge black bars.

The game itself is still very entertaining but the controls on the pc take some getting used to. In fact, you can definitely tell this game was meant to be played on the console not the pc. Once you get used to the pc controls, the game become much more enjoyable.

The graphics are incredibly good although it seemed like the further I got in the game, the more faded the graphics looked in places on the pc version. Also, I really, really like the amount of freedom you have in Assassin's Creed. You can choose however you want to accomplish each objective and whatever order you want. The game is pretty open that way. You can explore the city for hours if you want before doing the objectives too.

Because of the inability to play in full screen and the awkward controls on the pc, I'd rather play this particular game on the PS3 or xbox 360. Even on the console, there is still a problem with the game play. It gets pretty redundant after a while. How many times can you protect a citizen, pick pocket, etc.? After about the 4th or 5th assassination, you might start to get a little bored with this game. There are 9 assassinations you must make and I really started to lose interest after the 4th or 5th one. It gets to be the same thing over and over again. - Download - Pc Game - Pc - Action'

Awful - awful, good quality

Bottom Line: Do not believe the product description, and definitely do not believe the picture.

These diamond earring claimed to be I-J in color, which they are not. Both diamonds are clearly yellow, in the L-M possible in the N category. Unacceptable for the description of the product.

That said, the delivery was prompt and the packaging was nice, but if the product is going to claim an original price of $1,000, then sell for $299, the quality should at least get closer to the $1,000 dollar price tag. 1/2 Carat (ctw) Diamond Stud Earrings in 14K White Gold

I debated ordering these, but the price seemed too good to be true based on the description. Unfortunately I was correct... These are not what I expected based on the image and description. I'm no gemologist, but I don't believe the H-I rating on the diamonds. One had a slightly different cut than the other and was noticeably more yellow in color. I don't believe these are anywhere close to a $1000 dollar pair of earrings. If they were 100 dollars I might encourage people to buy, but I can't in good conscience recommend this product.

What you will get. You will get what you paid for.

1/2 carat (that is two 0.25 carat stones), each of them is be 4.1 mm big.

The color is not white as on picture, it is IJ, and I would say it is J as you can see the yellow tone.

I1-I2 means the presence of inclusions. Those stones are one of the worth grades, but it is clearly specified and you cannot complain.

What I like: The price. The fast delivery. Awesome packaging.

What I don't like: The picture is not close to what you are getting. Not white blue. They don't sparkle. Too many inclusions and the color on the yellowish side.

And the worst: That "post-with-friction-back" thing is not aligned and the post is clearly not in the center. I know, nobody will probably see it when she wears it. Still, I am not happy with this quality.

Dont be fooled by the image, these are tiny studs. the diamond quality (Color and Cut) is not that great either. I bought them when they were offered as a Gold Box deal. I got them for $280, so cannot complain.

Many previous reviews of these earrings had a problem with the color or clarity of these diamonds. I was worried that when I got them, I'd be disappointed in the color, or think the quality was too low of a grade to actually give my wife. Well, the color and the quality were not an issue whatsoever. However, the size was of concern to me. Not that they were smaller or larger than I had expected, but that the earrings were not a match in size with each other. Just sitting in the box, side-by-side, it was very easy to see that the two diamond studs were a different size and did not look like a matching pair. I am in the process right now of trying to see what my options are for an exchange.

I gave these to my wife and she loved them. They arrived extremely quickly and just as described. Granted, they are not the very best quality available on the planet but they definitely do the job. They sparkle nicely and the setting is beautiful. My wife and I personally don't believe in spending a fortune on perfect diamond studs considering she wears them daily and will get hairspray, shampoo etc... which leaves imperfections anyhow. These are really great value. We saw a pair at the local mall jewelry store for $895 and I paid less than half of that with free shipping!

Bought these like a week or 2 ago for a great price. It was exactly as described a 1/2 carat of diamonds. My daughter wears them and she likes them. Delivery was exceedingly fast for this item. Overall I would buy from this merchant again.

Just received these earrings yesterday and was pretty amazed of how fast I got them. Cute little red box and gift wrapping. I'm always happy when I order a product and it's delivered quickly in a nice package. So I'm pretty much satisfied with that. The earrings were purchased for my girlfriend whom I've been with for 2 years. There is no special occasion but I thought it'd be nice to get her something and it seemed like a great deal online. When I got them I placed it on the bed. I waited for her to come home from work. When she did, she was talking about how her day went and how some of her patients(she's an optometrist) drive her crazy. I smiled and told her to get comfortable so we can have dinner. She went to the bedroom, I jumped off the couch and followed... The way I placed the gift box she noticed it right away, she picked up the little red box, turned and looked at me, smiled, and then opened it, she immediately put them on and she looked wonderful wearing them. She told me I made her day. After all that being said, I say it was a good purchase on my behalf. - Awful - Good Quality'

Outdoor Gear - camouflage, outdoor gear

I wanted to wait to review this till I had field tested it. It finally got use two days ago as I spent around 4 hour in the rain. Worked like a charm. My only complaint is its country of origin (Chi-Com). I would highly recommend this product. Rothco 4358 G.I. PLUS ENHANCED WOODLAND DIGITAL CAMO RIP-STOP PONCHO

Without a doubt an essential element for those who enjoy the charms of nature.

It allows you to isolate yourself from the rain and if necessary it becomes a shelter, with just a bit of rope you would get an emergency tent.

It is lightweight and easy to carry, comes in a thick plastic bag which will allow a practical and convenient transport.

I love this version of camouflage as it is the most advanced.

Great product and very useful.

I love the outdoors camping and hiking. The lighter my backpack the better which is why i bought this poncho it makes for the perfect one person tent or shelter from the rain or the sun.Light as a feather and very sturdy also.Snap two together for a much roomier tent or three will also make a floor.

On a positive note, this poncho is much lighter than the military issued model. I have not field tested this poncho, but I have serious doubts about the quality. Mine was missing one grommet. The color and pattern are okay, but somewhat lighter than the picture. This poncho may not be ready for serious use, but it's probably okay to stick one in your bug out bag for emergency rain wear or shelter.

This poncho proved to be very good when we were surprised by high winds and a sleet shower while hiking at about 6000 ft....I could wear it over my backpack.

It's not heavy and serves the purpose.

I would recommend this product.

I ordered this after reading the reviews thinking that this product would do what it was primarily intended to do, that being keeping you dry.

This morning we were receiving a moderate rain, so I thought it would be a good test when I went to walk my dog. I fastened the hood over my head, and started out on a mile and half walk. About a third of the way, (10 minutes) I could start to feel moisture inside the poncho. By the time I got back home, my head and shoulders were soaked and the rest of my upper body quite damp.

Save your money, find something else.

Unfortunately, I cannot say much good about this poncho except that it looks really cool and seems durable. Others have given it good reviews; maybe I got one that slipped past quality control, but I know that at least one other customer has already said what I am about to.

The whole point of a poncho is to keep the wearer dry, right? That's what I was expecting. That the product was not advertised as "100% waterproof" didn't phase me. After all, who would ever sell a poncho that *isn't* waterproof?? Apparently, Rothco does.

The first time I tried the poncho was at the onset of a heavy downpour. Within minutes I could feel moisture on the inside of it, and later when I got inside and pulled it off, I was completely soaked! I was really upset, but instead of returning the product, I decided to try to waterproof it myself. I picked up some silicone spray for tents from Wal-Mart, followed the directions carefully, and didn't use the poncho for a few months. Today I finally got to try it again-- thank you tropical storm Lee. While it did stay drier for a bit longer, after I had been outside walking for about an hour, I was drenched again.

I have given up hope on this one. If you need some concealment for paintball or airsoft on a dry day, have at it. If you need something to actually keep the rain away, something that a real GI or outdoorsman would appreciate, do yourself a big favor and forget about it.

These are well made and the digital camo allows the wearer to blend into your outdoor surroundings. Great for paintballing, observing nature and when the weather turns foul they keep you dry, if one owns the poncho liner they also keep you warm in the coldest of weather and wind proof. Rothco makes great products.

I recently took up hunting again (wild pigs in Texas), and while I've been a serious backpacker since 1971, I never owned a poncho; never saw the need. But now, I find that using one shields me and my rifle from the rain and wind and, at the same time, provides excellent camouflage. I've used the tie-out points to lash it to trees as a quick shelter in 30mph winds - with no tears. I'm now buying it as a gift for friends who also hunt. - Outdoor Gear - Camouflage'

Husqvarna Chain Saw - husqvarna chain saw

If you don't know how to start a chainsaw than you should not be using one! Once the saw fires you turn the choke off and pull the start cord. If you keep trying to start it with the choke on it will flood the engine. Read the user's manual, it talks about it in the manual. I just purchased the 450 and it cuts like a dream and has the power to really do the trick. I like the fact that I can put a 20" bar on this saw and have the power to get the job done. I'm not having any issues getting the saw to run even in below freezing temps. Make sure you use winter grade bar oil if you cut in the winter. It's only been two days of solid cutting but this machine has out preformed my last saw. Hopefully with good maintenance habits I can keep this thing around for a long time. Oh yea...wear chaps and a helmet. I love that macho attitude with no protective gear. You'd be amazed at how fast you can bleed out when you hit an artery!

Be Safe... Husqvarna 450 18-Inch 50.2cc X-Torq 2-Cycle Gas Powered Chain Saw With Smart Start (CARB Compliant)

Bought this at my local dealer last year and have used it quite a lot. Have had no trouble at all starting it, almost always on first pull after priming, not sure why the other reviewer had trouble. I put a 20 inch bar on it, and it goes through whatever I want. Much less vibration than other saws I've used. Easy to clean and maintain. Would buy it again.

Be sure to shop around town for the best price.

I have had this saw since Dec 24, 2010. I have cut 5 trailer loads of firewood so far. I did have the chain jump off the bar the last time I used it but it was because I had not yet adjusted the chain. I have not had a minutes trouble with this saw. The very first time I tried to start it, I pulled on the rope 6 times. Since then, it starts on the first or second pull everytime. I would definately buy again.

Had need of a new saw to replace an older one that was starting to give me trouble. besides that I have been wanting a second saw and this gave me a good excuse to get one. I typically cut 8 to 10 cord per year for the past 30 years and have had experience with several types and sizes. My favorite was the Husky 55 which I still have but needs some work. I checked out the reviews on the Husky 50 with the most being very good with a few bad reviews but then I saw the same with Stihl reviews so I came to the conclusion some people don't really know much about starting or using a chain saw. Anyhow Amazon had this one for a price that couldn't be beat so I thought I would take a chance on buying it online as opposed to a dealer. I wasn't disappointed. No problem with start-up. The first job I had was to clean up some storm damage. Had a large red oak uproot. At the stump it was about 29" diameter. This saw cut through that like a knife through butter. I cut up that tree in no time. The main reason I went with the smaller saw was lower weight. As one gets older that extra pound or so hanging out there can make a difference on the the back feels afterwards. I just like the way this saw feels in my hand and am impressed with its performance. This model isn't a professional model but for the work as a homeowner on over 5 acres of woodland this saw is perfect.

This is my first chainsaw. I only wanted to buy a chainsaw once, so I did some research online and in the ACE store. I have a healthy fear of chainsaws and read the manual completely through as well as watched several safety videos on YouTube (I highly recommend that). This saw starts super easy if you READ the manual. This saw runs great, cuts like a knife through butter (70' trees) and is easy to acclimate to. I got lucky with an in-store grand opening sale and got the saw, case and extra chain for the price of just the saw. I would recommend this saw to my friends. In fact one of my friends has a Homelite chainsaw and Raved at how fast my saw rips through wood and works much better than his. I also recommend the Husqvarna 2 cycle mixing oil with Sta-bil. Stored my saw since the Fall and it started right away in the Spring. I did have a problem with the chain that came with it, but the store just gave me a new one and I was on my way.

Very happy with the saw.

Fires first pull or three every time. Cuts great, not too heavy/ bulky. Leaks a lot of bar oil in storage, but supposedly they all do. Holds chain tension well, easy to adjust. Air filter easy to access (clean). Would buy again and recommend to others. Did a lot of research. Decided Stihl has a little premium built into price/ mainly for serious cutters. I just cut a few trees a year and just wanted something reliable, not to large, and easy to maintain. So far, so good. I expect many years out of this saw. If I didn't go with this, I probably would've gone one step down with an Echo.

In my humble homeowner opinion, there are two good chain saws on the market today. Stihl and Husqvarna. The Husky 450 is an excellent medium size saw for the homeowner like me. I like the saw because it is easy to start, quiet and powerful. I would recommend it to anyone. The 18 inch bar works for the size tree I typically cut. I keep the chains sharp and have several on hand to change in the field. The bar tool comes with the saw for easy chain changeout. My two sons also use the saw and rate it as highly as I do!

I have lived on 12 acres of woodland for 39 years and have owned other saws...Stihl, McCulloch, Homelite, Poulan, to name a few, and while they were all good saws, nothing compares to the Husky 450. In the past 4 weeks I have been doing some lot clearing, mostly oaks, pine and hickorys in the 8 to 16 inch diameter range and this saw has worked flawlessly. Easy to start (2 or 3 pulls at most)and tons of power. In fact it cuts so easily I look forward to working with it.

By purchasing this from Amazon, I saved over $60 not even including the free shipping. Saw arrived 5 days from the time I ordered it to the time it arrived at my door. Very happy with the purchase. - Husqvarna Chain Saw'

Headphones - waterproof, pool

I have the previous edition Surge and these. There are several improvements, one of which is that these have a nominal 8 ohm impedance, whereas the earlier ones were 16 ohms. If you don't know what that means, then it probably wouldn't matter to you anyway.

NO LEAKS folks! Many size cushions included... try the size that fits the tightest first.

Make sure you ears are squeaky clean before sticking these in. Common sense.

I have had zero, none, nada leaks in over 100 workouts with these.

Nifty thing to note, and this is true of other brands I have tried, they get get louder and have more bass reponse the deeper you go. Not that that matters for swimming laps, and you shouldn't go more than a few feet deep with any earphone, but it is a neat effect. H2O Audio IE2-BK Surge 2G Waterproof Earbuds - Black/Blue

After doing a little research on waterproof headphones I was very skeptical because of the varied results from users. However, as with anything, I decided to pick the item I thought to be the best and go with it to see for myself. The H2O Audio Surge 2 headphones worked as advertised and did not disappoint. It took me no longer to get setup than it did putting on my goggles. I wound the excess cord around my goggle band and clipped my waterproof iPod shuffle (another outstanding purchase!) to the band as well and off I went. The clarity was perfect for about 35 minutes when I got a little water in my left ear and the sound went out on that side, but the sound and clarity were still there in my right ear (which is the reason I gave only 4 stars). I did stop to clear the water from my left ear and the sound came back. I don't know if that is typical of all waterproof headphones, but I was happy just to hear music while I was submersed! It made my workout ten times more enjoyable than ever before and I found myself wanting to swim for another hour! My recommendation is to try out all the ear buds that come with the headphones to see which is the best fit. Typically, I wear a medium size earbud with headphones but decided to go with the small bud because it seemed to be a better fit and provided a better seal.

I had the original over-ear H20 headphones, and hated them - they slipped off my ears and I had to re-set them every few laps. I'm happy to report that these are super comfortable, fit nicely in-ear (I used the small size buds) without leakage, and even with a 45-minute swim, I never had to re-adjust. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Oh yeah, and the sound was very nice: no ambient noise got in.

I received them and I have been using them daily. The sound is good and the different headphone pieces help secure a good comfortable water tite fit - it took about 3-4 swims to narrow in on which ear buds felt best - but if they don't stay in and dry the sound can be really limited. Water in the ear will make these less effective so it is important to find a good fit that doesn't come out easily while breathing. What disappointed me is that after 2 weeks it appears that the rubber shielding is cracking and splitting open and I fear it is only a matter of time before the shielding no longer protects the wire.

These headphones sound great. I bought them after the headphones that came with my underwater mp3 player shorted out. I have better sound quality and they stay in place better (put them in before getting wet and use opposite hand over head to pull up on ear). I just don't like that you have to tug on the cord to get them out of your ear. This makes it likely that they will short out at some point even though they seem decently reinforced at the point where the cord meets the headphone. On the other hand, if they stuck further out of your ear, they wouldn't stay in as well and you would hear more water sounds. I am very happy with this purchase but I'm not sure how long it will last.

I have been swimming 40 or 50 lengths for a while now and it can get very monotonous. Having my iPod selection playing is awesome. This product is great and has 5 different sizes of ear buds so you get a really good fit.

These headphones are great for running. Whether it's a short run or a three hour run they will stay in place. The cord will not tangle like some of the other headphones. They are water/sweat proof which is great especially during the hot summer runs. The extra earbuds will ensure the right fit for your ears.

Goods: Sound quality was great (swimming made spoken voice a little hard to hear), no issues with ear phone fit as some people suggest, the cord wasn't too stiff (as some people suggest), and the case was completely waterproof keeping my iphone nice and dry.

Others: I had an issue on my first use in the pool. I'm not sure what wasn't working right, but the music would skip forward without stopping when while I swam. No damage to anything, but the music was un-listenable.

THE REASON WHY I REALLY LIKE THIS COMPANY: The company replaced everything without question. Customer service like that is almost nonexistent these days.

Even though this product comes with 5 different sizes of ear plugs, they will not stay in my ears, so therefore the sound isn't so good when swimming. I'm still looking for another pair of waterproof earbuds.

I really love these headphones! I've been using them for about a month and a half, in the pool for about 40 mins at a time, every second day. They're holding up really well so far. The sound quality is much better than I expected based on reviews of most waterproof headphones.

Only complaint? If it comes out of your ear, even a bit, the sound is gone. And it's hopeless to put it back - I get out of the pool, dry it off, dry out my ear and try again. Sometimes works, sometimes not. I bought one of those neoprene headbands to keep them on more securely, and other than feeling like I look a little foolish, it seems to do the trick.

Would definitely recommend this product! - Earbuds - Swimming - Waterproof - Pool'

Owen Wilson - disney, family

When Cars first came out on DVD, I was a little disappointed because there weren't very many extras on it. I didn't understand why Pixar would take one of their most popular films and give it such a mediocre treatment. Well.....now that I have the Blu-ray version of this film, I think I know why. They were saving it all for Cars debut on hi-def. This has to be the best looking picture I have seen yet on a hi-def title. I looks almost like the entire film is in 3-D!!! I managed to catch part of this movie on a hi-def cable channel and thought I would compare the two pictures. After a little fiddling, I managed to get both screens at the exact same frame, and was blown away at how much clearer the Blu-ray picture is. The Cine-Explore feature on this is the best special feature I've seen on a hi-def title. It is almost sensory overload at the amount of material that continuously pops up across the screen while the film is playing. This disc will be the one I will pop in to show my friends what Blu-ray is capable of doing. Every Blu-ray owner needs to get this title. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Cars (Single-Disc Widescreen Edition)

When I saw this movie in the theaters I enjoyed watching it enough, but I kept thinking this was the worst Pixar film I have seen. Funny thing is the worst Pixar film is still A grade material compared to most other animated features released. And while Cars didn't wow me on the big screen the way The Incredibles or Monsters Inc (or a score of other Pixar films) the film grew on me in a big way when we got it home. You see my son (two years old at the time) loved to watch it. Being the inclusive dad that I am I would watch it with him. I got what Pixar was doing when I first saw Cars, but it didn't resonate with me until repeated viewings. Now, while it's still not my favorite Pixar movie, Cars made a believer out of me in what they were saying about this film.

You see Cars isn't just a cartoon about a world where cars are people. It's a tribute of the history of the automobile, a nod to NASCAR and its roots, and a love letter to Route 66. All of this done in a family-friendly and colorful animated universe. Any car nut with a broad spectrum interest in the automobile will find lots of different cars from different eras getting face time on this movie. NASCAR fans will love the racing sequences and level of detail dedicated to the sport. Those who remember the days before the Interstate system where there was as much fun travelling to your destination as there was being there will feel nostalgic for that time again. The movie hits on multiple levels, which is what makes it better than the sum of its parts.

Take that all away and you still have a fun cartoon. You have cars talking and acting like people for God's sake! The kids will eat that up! Cars are getting into crazy situations that are in their own way a slight play on human issues. There are plenty of little jokes on that vein that both the kids and parents can laugh over. There is even a joke or two with a double meaning the adults may get a kick out of. This is all classic Pixar and does much to fill in the little spaces between story development.

The story? Well like I said when I first saw it I got what they were saying, but wasn't impressed. It's essentially much like an episode of The Andy Griffith Show I remember seeing where somebody from the big city gets stuck in Mayberry, desparate to get out, only to end up loving the town and wanting more. Maybe it was because it was in a way the preachiest of the Pixar films telling us we should slow down our busy lives and go back to simpler times. Not that it's a bad message. Just not one that held onto on first viewing. Well after watching it several more times with my excited toddler the little details come into play that I either missed or ignored the first time around. The sleepy town that slowly comes to life the more their new visitor gives to it. The beautiful backdrops of painted deserts and canyons. There is character growth going on.

Cartoons live and die by their voice actors. While just about every animation company puts out movies that take advantage of celebrity power to gain an audience Pixar is one of the few who has consistently been able to get the best performances from them, and cars is no different. Every celebrity voice is pitch perfect and puts you in the view of the character more than the actor. Larry the Cable Guy as Mater the tow truck easily steals the show, but does it in such a way where you absolutely know it's Larry doing the voice, but you see Mater as a character in of itself rather than a cartoon Larry. Owen Wilson puts his best sly, but whiner-like demeanor for racing star McQueen that's his best. Some characters I still have trouble recognizing the transformation is so good. Tony Shalhoub (better known as Monk from the TV series) is absolutely unbelievable as tire shop owner Luigi. Better yet Michael Keaton as Chic Hicks barely sounds like Michael. Michael makes what is essentially the villain in the movie a very enjoyable and charismatic cut up. I can go on, but suffice it to say the "acting" is top notch.

Animation wise all I have to say is this is Pixar. They are just about the best in the business and what you see in this movie will impress even today. The race scenes are dynamically shot the same way you would see a big NASCAR race with gravel, debris, smoke and skid marks looking real. The level of detail is very impressive from the waxed shine on the cars to the minute dust.

This Blu-Ray release is pretty much identical to the previous release, but this time they include the DVD version as well. The differences between the Blu-Ray and DVD versions visually are striking, and that's admitting the DVD looks great. The Blu-Ray technically has two menus, but that's not a big deal. One of the menus has three options which are the movie, bonus cartoons and featurettes. Here's a breakdown (features on the DVD will have an * beside them):

Mater and the Ghost Light*: Like all Pixar releases Cars comes with both the animated short that was viewed before the movie in theaters plus a totally new short related to the movie itself. This is a story about Mater scaring the town with little tricks so he is told a story about the infamous Ghost Light, which he then appears to experience after left alone. Goofy funny with Mater kind of replaying a number of scenes from the movie in a different way.

One Man Band*: This is the short that was played before the movie in theaters. It's about two street musicians "dueling" for a little girl's coin. The musicians get more outrageous in their zeal for the money and things end up going crazy.

Mater in Bounding: Remember the Pixar short with the Jackalope and sheep? Well this is a quickie (non hi-def) short of Mater replacing the sheep bouncing all over the place. I think it's something the animators put together for fun and are sharing with us.

End Credits: Here you can see the animation end credits in full frame without the credits. Love the previous Pixar movie references.

Production Features include:

Two Full Length Commentaries: One is by Lasseter and the other with the production team (with pictures).

Inspiration for 'Cars'*: Documentary told by John Lasseter on the inspiration for Cars including a jaunt through Route 66 and seeing some race cars in action.

Documentary Shorts: There are seven little items here. "Radiator Springs," "Character Design," "Animation and Acting," "Real World Racing: Getting Geeky with the Details," "Hudson Hornet," "Graphics" and "Darrell Waltrip Museum Tour". This is the real meat of the extras. You get to see the real love for the source material and how much they put into making the movie as much a car-lovers movie as possible.

Cine-Explore: This is a way to see behind the scenes stuff while watching the movie. You can set it automatic or manually punch in the content. Much of the content comes from the other featurettes.

Deleted Scenes*: These are just sketches and storyboards that never went beyond pre-production. It's interesting to see how the script evolved, but don't expect extra cartoons.

Carfinder Game: It's dubbed as a very sophisticated BD game, but I call it incredibly tedious. The has three play modes. The primary mode is where you have to select a car from the bottom of your screen when it shows up in the movie. Next is the same concept, but this time the screen is frozen for an amount of time due to a massive amount of cars to rummage through. Third is like a bonus round where you get three images of the same car and you have to pick which one is accurate (with the other two having often the slightest differences in them).

The reward for going through the game (which you cannot get out of until you finish the movie with it) is a Showroom that has all the cars you found. You can click on the showroom and get a pretty neat profile of that car and it's personal history. I have to admit I really like getting this information as it broadens the story greatly. It's just a bear of a game to go through. This isn't a casual game to kill a little time. Be prepared to commit.

Cars is one of those movies that is very different from anything else out there, but then again you can say that for a good number of Pixar movies. It's a great movie for the car lover and those who enjoy remembering the 1950's driving experience where drive-ins and cruising mainstreet were how you treat a Friday night. Oh yeah... car racing fans will definitely get a kick out this film. If you aren't into any of that then you still should give this movie a try. It's VERY accessible to just everybody out there. - Dvd - Family - Disney - Animation'

Micro Usb Charger - charger, motorola

For those interested...

The output rating of the Motorola SPN5504 Battery Charger (as of April 2011, no longer directly stocked by Motorola) is 850 MA (milliamperes) at 5.1 volts. The lithium-ion battery within the Motorola Droid 2 Global cellphone, Type BP6X, is rated at 1420 mAH (milliampere-hours, typical). So, if you were to use the cellphone, discharging it down to the 5 percent level (as indicated on the "Battery Management" screen of the cellphone), the time it would take to recharge the phone to 100 percent (fully charged state) would nominally be 95 minutes, calculated as follows:

Recharge time = (Percent_discharged x Battery_capacity) / battery_charger rate, i.e., (0.95 x 1420) / 850 = 1.587 hours or 95 minutes.

Similarly, charging rates for given percent battery discharges are:

90% - 90 minutes

80% - 80 minutes

70% - 70 minutes

60% - 60 minutes

50% - 50 minutes

The above are "nominal" charging times. If the battery has a different capacity or the battery charger has a different rating, then the charge times will differ accordingly. If the battery charger cannot provide 850 milliamperes output (i.e., the nominal rating is less than 850 ma - as may be the case with a "cheap" battery charger), then it will lake commensurately longer for the battery to be fully charged. (For example, if the battery charger has an output of only 650 ma, the time to fully charge the 1420 mAH battery in the cellphone from a 95% discharged state would be 124 minutes - significantly longer.)

I actually tested the above, using my almost new (3 weeks old) Motorola Droid 2 Global phone with the OEM Motorola battery BP6X (provided with the cellphone) and the accompanying OEM Motorola Battery Charger SPN5328B (marked output rating: 850 mAH at 5.1 volts). The cellphone was discharged to the 5% point, at which time the Battery Charger was connected to the phone. The actual charge time to reach the 100% fully charged state was 94 minutes.

Hope this helps! Motorola SPN5504/SKN5004A micro-USB Home and Travel Charger

I bought three of these as I need one every place I go. This item is identical to the one that came with my Droid X, down to the part number and labels. I'm very happy with it. Now if I could only find a battery that lasts more than 1 hour, all would be perfect. Cost was 1/5 th of retail.

I ordered this for my HTC Evo 4G because I like to have one for the office and one for home and the EVO 4g will consume a lot of battery if you like to have WIFI or GPS enabled for extended periods of time. The price was right and the free shipping was very fast (ordered Fri, arrived Mon). This works just like the OEM charger that came in the box. I have ordered other chargers for other phones at online auction sites, and they were more expensive, not a name brand, made cheaply, and didn't last. This is a quality product that does the job at a good price, what more can you ask?

This is the same charger/USB interface cable you get when you purchase a droid. Weather you need to replace the one that came with your droid or you want an extra charger, you can't beat the price. I'm pretty sure you'll pay about 10x the price if you were to purchase one at a store. I wish I could find more items at 90% off! - Charger - Motorola - Droid Charger - Motorola Droid'

Camping Lantern - emergency light, camping

I've bought some other simialrly priced LED lanterns, and this one is fairly bright. DO NOT expect it to light up a campground like a kersone mantle-type lantern. But for ambient room light during emergencies, and compared to others that claim they have a 10-20 LED's, this 'one-LED' type was brighter than all my others (and they did an especially good job of design to reflcet back light that would normally be 'lost'). And the fold-away capaility is a nice feature since it IS full-size like any Coleman camp lantern. I haven't tested how long it will burn with 4D cells, but definitely use it on the half-power setting. Half-power gives almost as much light as full power. Reason: If you know anything about luminosity, you know that you would need about 4 times the energy to double the light output as perceived by the eye. So save your batteries and stay with the one-half power setting. Coleman 4D Pack-Away LED Lantern

Works as advertised. A couple nits to pick:

1. It's almost impossible to see the settings on the switch on top of the lantern if it's dark outside.

2. It collapses a bit too easily. If you barely touch the top, then it collapses. Why no catch to hold it open?

3. It can be left on AND closed, which would drain the batteries (my wife did this to "turn it off").

I can't help to feel that some others on here have gotten confused about this product. While it is seemingly not as rugged as Coleman gas lanterns, it just might prove to be more durable. I have personally had the glass globe on my traditional Coleman lantern broken twice by little more than bumping into it with something hard. The heat produced with the gas powered lanterns is intense and makes that glass globe very easy to break. The plastic lens/globe on this lantern seems very durable and I'm sure it will take a bit more shock than the glass one. Another point on this is the fact that it can retreat down into the case (like a turtle) and suddenly become half the size that it was in the expanded operational configuration.

This light is the small, portable, more compact version of the 8D cell unit. It is designed to be compact enough to fit into places where the bigger ones can't fit. It's designed to be lesser weight than the full sized ones. The weight thing comes with a trade-off. If you want to cut weight, you cut down on strength. I've handled this light quite a bit and even intentionally bumped it pretty hard. It doesn't seem too fragile.

Light emissions are very good. I agree that switch placement on the top seems strange but not that big of a deal. I wasn't really planning on use outside, as it will mostly be an emergency light backup for power outages. As such, it seems to be built very well.

The carry handle makes an excellent structure, when down, to build an aluminum foil reflector on, or you can easily mold one on the side of the globe.

When the top is retracted into the case, the unit is very small and compact. A nice design for storage. But extending it again requires a bit of practice to determine the exact force required to make it stay open and not so much that you'd damage it.

Overall, when considering that this has a high output cree LED that is still relatively expensive (more or less), the price seems very cheap for what you get.

I am so dissapointed in this purchase.

I bought this lantern at the beginning of last summer for when I worked at Girl Scout camp as a counselor. I needed something bright so I could lead my kids up the mile long hill to the cabins at night.

This sure as heck is bright. BUT, the way the plastic is put together it creates a weird pattern. Also, it projects out so if you hold it low, you don't get any light infront of you - just at your feet. Ran into a lot of trees and bushes.

Although it is nice that it is collapsable, this function broke almost immeaditly. There was no hard use with it, either. It lived in the cabin storange area where it never got bumped or knocked over. It was used only after campfire, once a week, and the occasional night time breaks.

Once it began to collapse randomly, the plastic around the light broke. Then the batteries wouldn't stay in.

Honestly, if you want a good lantern get the old school propane or LED ones. This one just isn't worth the money.

I have run this lamp every night(all night as a night light for kids) for 4 months on one set of duracells ( non-rechargable)I have used it in camp at -40degrees for a week with no problems on the same batteries. the collapsable globe makes it travel friendly. I can't recomend this lantern enough. I am usually very critical of gear when it comes to camping and outdoor use and not usually a big fan of coleman but this is the bee's knees.

Nice lantern for camping or emergency use (living here in hurricane country). I like that it has three brightness settings, used the lowest to make my tent easier to find at night. Puts out good light at highest setting. I dock it one star because of the collapsible feature, very easy to close it when you don't mean to, then need to be sure the light is off when collapsed so you don't waste batteries. Would be better if it took a bit more force to shut it when open, also if there were a switch to turn it off when closed. On the other hand, it's a great value as is. - Emergency Light - Coleman - Camping Lantern - Camping'

32 Gb Flash Drive - 32 gb, memory card

I purchased this for use with my new Canon T2i. I use it primarily for shooting full resolution 1080p video, although I shoot stills as well.

The camera choked on the class 4 chip that I originally purchased, but with this one, it is amazing. I can shoot rapidfire 18 megapixel stills (I've tested it up to 30+ shots in a row), and there is no lag. I've never had an error when shooting hi-def video.

Highly recommended! I'm buying another one. Transcend 32 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card TS32GSDHC10E

I bought this card for my Canon T1i. The card I had been using before ordering this one was a Kingston Class 6 micro sd card and it worked well enough for the type of shooting I did. Class 6 was the card speed that Canon recommended when I bought my T1i (Class 10 cards were not yet available) and it seemed fast enough for the way I used my camera - isolated single photos taken at Medium (8 MP) or Large (15 MP) jpg settings and 1280 x 720 video. And while I ocassionally took continuous photos, I had never much exceeded 5-10 photos in a row and had never run into a problem with my Class 6 card.

When I first saw the Class 10 cards I did some experiments with my camera. How many continuous Large photos could I take before the camera slowed down? It turned out to be about 30. And how many RAW photos could I take before the camera slowed down? It turned out to be about 9. SInce I did not generally take any photos in RAW and never needed more than about 10 continuous photos at Large, the Class 6 card seemed more than sufficient for my needs. But I wondered about the speed of the Class 10 cards enough that I finally bought one.

It turns out that the Class 10 card is sufficiently fast that there does not seem to be a reasonable upper limit on single Large photos. I have taken 60 on continuous without an issue. And although I still cannot take more than 9 RAW photos on continuous with the Class 10 card, when I am finished taking those photos the camera no longer displays a Wait - writing pictures screen. The RAW photos get written from the built-in memory to the card so quickly that the camera does not need to display the Wait screen.

So this card is fast! Given the way I take photos this purchase was unnecessary, but still I am glad I bought it. I know I will not run into a situation where speed is an issue with this card.

I will be writing this review for both SanDisk Extreme SDHC class 10 8gb and Transcend SDHC class 10 16gb.

I bought SanDisk class 10 and Transcend class 10 for my new Panasonic LX5. I got both card because no one really did a comparison with a compact camera and I was just going crazy trying to see if there is any big difference between the 2 cards.

SanDisk Extreme package box indicated it's water proof, x-ray proof, shock proof, temperature proof. I am not ready to spend $50 to see if it really stand up to it's words. And I don't think normal people would go through the extreme condition in taking pictures or videos.

Cut the story short, I really want to see if there is any difference in writing performance between the 2 cards in a compact camera. There is a continuous burst mode in LX5 and the manual indicated it is only limited by the condition of picture environment and performance of the SD card. Within the mode there are 2 different settings:1) speed priority or 2) picture/quality priority. The shutter speed is much faster with speed priority compare to picture priority.

I first formatted both cards out of box then put each card in series of test(3 rounds each setting for each card) shooting at the same object under same lighting condition. The results:

Speed Priority:

SanDisk Class 10 8gb

22-33 shots before camera stopped to allow the card to catch up with writing.

Transcend Class 10 16gb

22-24 shots before camera stopped to allow the card to catch up with writing.

Picture priority

SanDisk Class 10 8gb

34-46 shots before camera stopped

Transcend Class 10 16gb

27-33 shots before camera stopped

It seems that at a higher shutter speed, both cards performed very similar under the same shooting condition. But at a slower shutter speed the SanDisk definitely out perform Transcend. I hope this little experiment satisfied anyone with curiosity like me. Transcend definitely is a bargain with 16gb and almost half of the price compare to SanDisk. But I am going to use SanDisk Extreme as my primary card and Transcend as backup or on a second camera to ensure i would not miss any shots.

OK. this card was around $47 for a class 10 16gb. The other card i bought was a Sandisk class 10 8gb for the around same price. I did a 10 sec stop watch test on both cards with my Rebel T1i on raw and the Sandisk was only faster by 1 shot in a 10 sec burst. to me it seems trivial to pay 47 bucks for a Sandisk 8gig when you can get 16 gigs for the same price. yes i know, the Sandisk is good for arctic and desert temperatures... but i live in western NY... not Antarctica or the Sahara. If your looking for a good card, with more gigs for your buck, the Transcend is well worth it.

The "C10" is for "minimum sustaining speed" of 10mbps. The sustaining speed is critical if you're using for HD camcorder. There is other brand card that is also c10 but it costs more (2x) for its print of 30mbps on the card. It leads consumers into thinking that the higher price is worth for the 30mbps. However, the 30mbps is the "burst" speed. Burst speed is critical for HD camera and for doing copies. I have a HD camcorder and I'm very satisfied with this card after many hours for recording. I bought this card to do 100% of recording so it is the right price. I would buy the other high price brand card of 30mbps if I will do a lot of picture taking. The bottom line is to buy for the purpose of your usage. - 32 Gb - Transcend - Class 10 - Memory Card'

School Supplies - electric sharpener, school supplies

Only buy this pencil sharpener if you want to replace it each year. The sharpener worked very well until the end of the school year and then the blades became dull and would not sharpen the pencils. Hunt Company replaced the blades under warranty. Now that the warranty has expired, they refuse to replace the blades and won't sell the blade replacements. What a shame that electric pencil sharpeners are supposed to be disposable! X-Acto School Pro Heavy-Duty Electric Sharpener (1670)

I have gone through three School-Pro Sharpeners in four years. When it works, this sharpener is wonderful. It accomodates several different pencil sizes, has a huge shavings receptacle and runs quietly. My first sharpener lasted through two school years. The second one lasted about a year and a half. The company replaced it for free after I complained. The replacement lasted only a few months. They all had the same problem. When a pencil was inserted the the blades would spin, but they didn't sharpen. I think there was a problem with the automatic pencil stop feature. If the company would address this design flaw, I would consider buying another School-Pro.

I bought this sharpener because we have a large collection of very thick color pencils which require the largest hole on this sharpener to sharpen. This sharpener works fine. However, I was rather surprised by its large size. It is twice as tall as most of the electric sharpeners one sees in offices and homes, and it is wider and heavier.

While it worked, this was a great sharpener. The problem is that it only worked for three months. RIP OFF! Don't advertise that it's for school use unless it will last at least one school year. I have a much lower quality model that is going on its third year in my classroom, and it advertises for office use. The jokes on me!

I loved my Boston School Pro. The kids in my class were forever griding away on my old fashioned crank sharpener, and other teachers were contantly complaining about their loud electrict sharpeners that would quickly burn out on standardized testing weeks. With the Boston School Pro, teachers came to my room (or sent kids to my room) to sharpen pencils for the Stanford 9 test. There is a audible difference when students pencils have achieved ultimate sharpness. No more wasting time at the sharpner!

Every teacher at our school got one of these at the beginning of the year. NONE of them made it through March. The internal gears are made of cheap plastic that quickly wear out. While the cutters no longer turn, the units do squeal quite nicely! One star becuase it's the minimum available!

I'm a middle school teacher and bought two of these on the advice of a colleague. Both broke down before the end of the year. So did the two my colleague bought. It turned out she hadn't used one before but was taken by the imposing hero shot of the sharpener.

The company was completely unresponsive to the several phone messages I left.

A hand sharpener works better in the long run. Don't waste your money.

I have been teaching math for a few years and have had more trouble with sharpeners than students. I was going through several sharpeners a year. I was comfortable spending 20is dollars at Wal-Mart(where America shops for value). I was getting about 6 months out of each sharpener. This Boston School Pro is much better. While more expensive, it has lasted 2 and a half years. I have had trouble getting new blades and feel that I will never, I end up saving money in the long run. I was spending $60 plus every two and a half years and now spend $30 every two and a half. If Texas will get it's act together and give teachers the raise they were talking about I might be able to cover my pencil sharpener budget. - Electric Sharpener - School Supplies - Pencil Sharpeners - Electric Pencil Sharpener'
