Melissa  doug - melissa  doug, ride-on toys

Iris is cute but that's about all she has going for her. Great idea bad design. Her wheels should move in all directions so she can take the hallway corners in the airport however she only rolls forward so she falls over when entering a turn. she also can not hold very much and her openers are very hard to use meaning opening her up to use on the airplane was out of the question. Iris spent most of her travel time being carried by me or my husband and my 4 years was following behind crying. I love Melissa & Doug products however they missed their target on this one. Amazon was very fair to work with on the return. Melissa & Doug Trunki Iris (Purple)

I bought this for my niece for Christmas last year for our trip across the country. She had just turned three and was very excited to have her own suitcase that she got to pack herself. We tossed a cuddly blanket inside and then let her choose the toys she wanted to bring to fill it up the rest of the way. Once it was full, that's it! Those were all the toys she brought along, so it was an early lesson in prioritizing her stuff.

We were delayed on the first leg of the trip. So this little gem really helped fill up a few minutes while we waited to board the plane in the gate area. Beware, though, my niece was not nearly as interested in pushing herself around on it as she was in being pulled around by an adult.

Where it really came in handy was in our connection city. Since the first leg was delayed, we had to double-time it to the connection gate, which was (of course) a long way away from the gate we arrived in. Since we didn't bring her stroller, and she didn't want to walk (quickly), we put her on the suitcase and pulled her through the airport. It was a lifesaver! Without it, we would have had to carry her.

Pros:

-UNIQUE - I didn't see any others in the airport, and I haven't seen any since. I travel a lot, so this is a unique toy that will get lots of looks from other passengers.

-FUN - This is a fun toy to ride on and keep kids occupied while travelling. We haven't used it on more than one trip, so I don't know that it's super-durable, but it has held up fine so far.

-HANDY - The strap easily clips into place to throw over your shoulder when the kid isn't riding on it. When she's ready to ride again, just unclip one side to pull it along or unclip both to let the kid push herself.

-SECURITY - There were no problems getting it through the security checkpoint: on the belt and through the X-ray with no problems.

Cons:

-SIZE - It isn't very large inside, but seems like it's probably too large to fit comfortably under the seat. You could probably cram it under a seat if you had to or depending on the aircraft, but we didn't want to bother and just stowed it in the overhead compartment.

-RIDING - My niece is maybe a bit tall for her age, but she had to pull her feet up a significant amount so that they didn't drag on the ground while we pulled her. I just mention this for completeness: she didn't seem to mind at all. But, if your kid is really tall or on the older end of the age range, it's something to keep in mind.

-MANEUVERABILITY - Yeah, it's not going to make hairpin turns. But we didn't have much problem in the airports, which are generally pretty wide with gentle curves. On the plus side, people saw us coming and moved out of the way a bit, smiling at my adorable niece on her suitcase.

Bought this case for our granddaughter, age 5. She had the first one for a week and one of the locks broke. We returned it and received another. Used that one for about 3 hours and one of the wheels broke. It's supposed to support 100 lbs. and be able to be ridden on. Our granddaughter weighs about 45 lbs. Once the wheel broke and we could see how it was made, I don't see how it could be used in the way it's marketed. It's all plastic parts. Makes sense to build it out of plastic so it can go through airport security, but it isn't built sturdy enough to be ridden on by anyone over about 20 lbs., in my opinion. I'm asking for a refund this time. Too bad, really, this is a cute suitcase and the concept is wonderful.

Initially our toddler liked this item. Pulling the item along behind her in a straight line was fine. The wheels cannot pivot so turning is impossible. Even when she rode on the item it was hard to pull her along. The clasps were hard to open. One broke the same day so the item was returned. It's such a cute item for home. I would never take on a trip. Traveling is hard enough with a toddler.

First I'd like to say that I agree with many of the reviewers here in their greivances about the design and durability. The clasps are hard to use and pop off easily. The wheels don't turn, but that hasn't been a huge issue for us. I have toppled my son a couple times, but that was really because we were goofing around very recklessly. The suitcase isn't huge, but we fit enough carry-on items that they need to get through the flights - a blanket, stuffed animal and some books, toys, activity sets, etc. Actually, we fill their backpacks with those things and then stuff the backpacks into the Trunkis, since it's much easier to keep the backpack under your seat on the plane. The Trunki is not great for getting things in and out of while in flight.

What makes this so worthwhile for us is the fun factor. These things are FUN! My kids (5 and almost 4) LOVE them. They love to ride them, pull them, link them together, race them, and tie them up to things like you tie a horse to a hithcing post. My 5 year old is a bit tall to ride, but he just lifts his legs up. Getting through the airports, we generally pull them and it's a lot faster and easier than getting them to walk with us. While we're waiting at the airport, we do play games with them and they sit on them if they get tired. My kids become very responsible cooperative travelers with their Trunkis. Even more, they love to play with these at home too (although we have lost another clasp during their unsupervised play, Melissa & Doug sent a replacement set for free).

I sense a somewhat short shelf life, since my son will outgrow his after another trip or two, but these were well worth the price of admission for our family. - Kids Luggage - Ride-on Toys - Melissa  doug'

Samuel L Jackson

DC Comics, Hasbro and other Marvel Comics productions NOT involving CAPTAIN AMERICA take note... CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER got it right - THIS is how you make a superhero movie!!

1) DO humanize your hero but not by creating disgusting habits in him (Iron Man) - rather by presenting him as the personified goodness all humans possess but infrequently act on. DON'T turn him into a total pathetic wuss and moronic jerk at the beginning only to turn the improbable light switch for him to become the hero he's supposed to be.

2) DO showcase the central character in ALL his comic book glory and yes, a little patriotic flag waving doesn't hurt. Um, he is suppeosed to be an AMERICAN hero after all not just a "citizen of the world." DON'T be ashamed of the golden legacy that turned an imagined character into an enduring icon of American culture. (Superman Returns and Smallville - I'm thinking of you.)

3) DO stick to ONE story thread and carry it to completion. DON'T try to "add depth and diversity" by intoducing a bunch of superfluous characters that only serve to create a mess (Green Lantern, G.I. Joe and again, Smallville).

4) DO give the superhero a supervillain worthy of him. DON'T save the good stuff for a planned sequel because if your original movie sucks, the sequel becomes very unlikely (Superman Returns - Spacey's version of Lex Luthor was laughable and not in a good way. The first Hulk - his own father???)

5) DO bring out the trumpets and flurries for a memorable theme song. DON'T rely on cheesy heavy metal "music" (Matrix movies).

6) DO allow the superhero to fall long and hard for the ONE true love of his life and vice versa. DON'T create insanely obnoxious girly pointless melodrama (Spider-Man, Superman Returns and Smallville). On similar note, DO present the hero's LOVE and soulmate in all her stellar glory as his one and only equal - SHOW it, DON'T just say it.

7) DO frame the hero in stunning action sequences in all his head to toe uniformed glory (Tom Welling, PLEASE take note). DON'T pick an actor to play said hero if he's going to refuse to wear the suit by trying to hide behind a lame ass excuse such as "it's more interesting to show what happend in the character's life before he became the hero we know him to be." DON'T, DO NOT disrespect your audience by presuming to tell us what to think. If you're going to film the Statue of Liberty, doesn't it make sense that the audience expects to actually SEE the Statue of Liberty and not a blurry CGI version of it or just a close up of the head?

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER is quite simply, THE BEST SUPERHERO MOVIE EVER MADE. Chris Evans and Haley Atwell are bona fide stars. Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci and really, ALL the supporting characters have earned my respect. The writers and director Joe Johnston have created a masterpiece. Alan Menken and Alan Silvestri with the music and the entire crew obviously poured their heart into the making of this film and I, as a classic movie lover, am genuinely grateful. God bless you all and God bless the United States of America! ... UNashamedly so! Captain America: The First Avenger'

A Little Too Much

I don't know if you have done a lot of shopping for a quality all leather belt lately but they are expensive. Yes you can find belts for this price but most are NOT all leather even though they might look like it. I know since I have 2 of them now that are starting to fall apart in just 4 or 5 months. I do have a quality dress belt that I paid over double the price of this one, but it has lasted for quite a few years now with hardly any sign of wear.

This is a all leather belt, I could not find any indication that it is not. It's extremely attractive for casual wear and looks like it will last quite a while. The buckle is fairly heavy with a pewter finish and well made. The belt felt a bit stiff at first, but seems to be softening up the more I wear it. Although it is all leather " probably cow hide " it is not as soft and attractive as some of the leather used on the expensive or designer belts that are out there.

This belt had a treatment called oil tanning or chamoising , where stiffer leather is infused with various oils to soften it. The early Indians used this type of treatment for the clothes they wore to make them soft and wearable. You can feel the oily texture on this belt, but fortunately nothing has come off to stain my clothes.

Amazons photo is deceiving as to the color of the belt and the buckle. After you finish reading this review and hopefully give me a thumbs up on it, go to the product page and check out my photo under customer images. That is the actual color of the Belt and buckle.

Also the width of the belt is wrong. They have it at 40 MM wide when it is actually closer to 38 MM which translates into 1 1/2 inches wide. I don't know why they cant give us this in inches to start with. Who the heck knows or even wants to know what a MM " Millimeter " is. I had to look it up.

As to the stated length:: My belt is 4 inches longer than the actual stated waist size, enough to go through the two loops with a inch or two to spare. The fit for me could not be any better.

When I first bought it I thought the name Columbia indicated it was possibly made in South America, but no it's just the company name. This belt is made in " You guessed it " CHINA.

I hope I don't have to eat my words of praise for this belt 6 or 8 months down the road. I guess time will tell. I'll keep you posted if anything goes bad on this belt.

I recently purchased this Columbia Men's 32mm Oil Tan Guatemalan Belt which is thinner " 1 1/4 in wide " and a little dressier. This is also an excellent belt. Please check out my review on it, Thanx Columbia Men's 40mm Oil Tan Leather Edge Belt,Brown,36

I had to buy this belt in a larger size and was pleased with its quality and durability. The leather is thick (to hold in my husband's gut), the buckle seems sturdy, and the finish on the leather makes it appear high quality. Recommend.

The belt that I received is a very nice belt but as far as the color goes it doesn't look anything like the picture, and if I had known this before hand I wouldn't have purchased it. The belt is actually quite a bit darker and not at all shiny. I only wish Amazon was selling a belt that actually looks like the one in this picture; then again they might be if the other advertised belts' pictures are off as much as this one is.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift. As a size 42, it was a little over the normal 40 he wears, but I got it just to be safe. It's a good quality belt for a good price but even the 42 barely fit. I would recommend getting a couple sizes bigger. Maybe it stretches a little over time, but I'd still order a size or 2 up.

This is a nice casual belt for jeans. It oiled finish makes it look older than it is... which is ok if that look is what you want. If it gets too beat up looking, just wipe it with mineral oil (like horse tack) to clean it up a little and bring back the original look.'

Home Office - cable, printer cable

Psst... A little secret - part # F3U133-06 is now a Belkin Hi-Speed USB (USB 2.0) cable and is backwards compatible with USB 1.x devices. This makes the price that Amazon.com offers even more amazing (thanks Amazon)! Purchase this for most USB devices (1.x or 2.0) and if you ever upgrade to a 2.0 device later you won't have to buy an additional cable. You also get the exceptional quality of a Belkin product, so you know it will work the first time. Belkin F3U133-06 Pro Series Hi-Speed USB Cable (Six-Feet)

Best Buy wants (dollar amount) plus tax for this exact cable. The ONLY difference in the Belkin USB cable at the Best Buy store is the "24K gold-plated connectors and contacts for optimum conductivity" which I assure you will NOT be measurable or noticeable with a six foot USB cable anyway. They have consumers at their mercy and know that people buying a printer or other USB device need that cable today and don't want to wait to order it by mail. That said, thank God for Amazon.com and Amazon's customer reviews!! I have saved a bundle and avoided a LOT of frustration due to reader's valuable comments on products rather than relying on the more biased commercial reviews.

I had to buy a printer cable for my Epson 890. When I priced around, this could not be beat. WILL NOT WORK WITH PARALLEL PORT ONLY COMPUTERS For the person that had a previous review, this is a cable that will only work on a printer that has a USB outlet. This is not for printers that are strictly parallel port hook ups. ENDS FOR PRINTER AND COMPUTER DIFFERENT The USB end that is for the printer if you look in the photo, is the small end to the left. It is only about 3/16" wide and shorter than that. The USB end for the computer is the big end to the right in the picture(about 3/8" wide and shorter than that). MANY USB PRINTERS HAVE BOTH USB AND PARALLEL PORT CONNECTIONS Many USB printers have both a parallel port cable connection as well. That is one of those huge flat type ones (roughly 2" wide). This may sound simple for all you computer experts out there, but with the plentitude of this type of cable or that, it can get very confusing.Great buy.

The product description doesn't state this, but this is a USB 2.0 cable meaning you get access to all the extra speed USB 2.0 offers. It's also backward compatible with USB 1.0. The cable is dark grey (it matches the 2004 model Dells nicely), very sturdy, and has a great solid connection when plugged in. The price is low, the quality is not. This is an excellent value.

I do not really know what to say about this item except that it is a cable. Yep it is!!! :o)However, when I bought my printer, I didn't know the USB cable didn't come with it (Mister salesperson at Sears didn't feel obligated to tell me I guess!!), so I had to find one. After looking around I found out that Belkin was the most famous and reliable brand for computer cables, and others... Brand doesn't make a big difference for me usually, but as far as electronics are concerned I want to be able to get the best, so I went for Belkin... The Belkin website didn't really offer the best price (I wouldn't have thought so!!). However, Amazon did!!I've had the cable for about 2 months... I actually forgot about it because I never had any problems with it. The connection between the printer and my computer was done right away, without ANY problems.I would definitely go for Belkin again if I needed to.

Okay, since most of the printers don't come with cables any longer, you always need to purchase one separately. A "regular" printer cable can cost around $20 and it can be difficult to plug and unplug correctly without breaking one or more of those tiny prongs. So a USB cable is a great solution. It costs less and it's easy to plug and unplug, especially if your computer has front-mounted USB ports. I bought this one for my new HP LaserJet 1012 Printer and it works just fine. For this price, it's a great bargain.

This is a good USB cable. It is compatible with both USB 1.0 and 2.0 ports. It is long enough to give great flexibility with arraging whatever it needs to be connected to. The price is extremely good (even though amazon.com changes it every now and then) for this cable. It is way more expensive in stores. And getting a Belkin product for such a low price is excellent. This is totally worth the money, and is a great buy if you need a USB cable.

ok i bought this cable a month before i bought my new Canon S820 printer. I just got the printer today but need to let it sit for a day before opening it because the 7 degree temp. when ever you buy computer & componets they should be at room temputure before using. Now belkin is a well respected name in computer cables so just price counted. One important fact others failed to point out is that this cable is UBS 2.0 - 1.0 ready. Make sure anything USB you buy from cable to hubs are usb 2.0 because all new computers are usb 2.0. A USB 2.0 cable & hub can be used on USB 1.0-1.1 but not vice versia. YOu can't use a USB 1.0 cable to hook up to a USB 2.0 device. The speed is much different.

I had tried a cheaper cable for my UBS connection but it didn't work for me so I thought I'd give this one a try. I found this brand to work especially well for me. I bought a new printer to use exclusively for photos and I still wanted to use my other printer for everything else. I needed a UBS cable and this one worked perfectly. I would recommend it for anyone needing a UBS connection.

This is an exceptional buy for under seven dollars! (this currently retails between $20 - $25 at local electronic stores) Although you can buy generic for a few dollars cheaper, you are guaranteed quality and a lifetime warranty through Belkin. Now to the product - This is a 6' USB 2.0 (A plug/B plug) device cable. It is both Windows and Macintosh compatible. I found 6' to be an adequate length for the reach from the device(e.g. printer, scanner, etc) to the back of the computer/hub. They do have longer cables available though. Note that your device must have USB support(as most now do). However, the device doesn't have to be USB2.0 as the cable is backward compatible. - Usb - Belkin - Printer Cable - Cable'

Antique Brown Wide Calf Boots - antique brown wide calf boots, boots

I can never find boots! I am not fat, I weigh 128 I just have really wide calves and these boots fit perfectly without being too loose or too tight! I would recommend them for anyone who has trouble finding knee high boots. Annie Shoes Women's Bijou Wide-Calf Boot,Black Antique,9 M US

These boots actually fit over my calves, which was what I wanted. The leather surrounding the heel is actually rolling up/wearing off after just several wears. I would say buy your exact size if not 1/2 size smaller as they stretch out. - Lifestride - Boots - Medium Heels - Antique Brown Wide Calf Boots'

Kindle Accessory - overpriced, kindle dx case

This is the same cover design that is currently used for the Kindle 2. Since I also own the Kindle 2, I did not hesitate to order this cover again for the Kindle DX. (For the record, I own both which and the cover arrived this morning along with my new Kindle DX)

The thing that made me go for this cover over the M-Edge series is that it has discreet clips that fasten directly into the kindle and are very secure. It is similar to the mechanism that Sony uses for the PRS-505 and I find it very unobtrusive without having to deface the Kindle with velcro etc.

HOWEVER it should be cautioned that this hinge mechanism has the potential to crack your the front faceplate kindle if you do not open the cover from the front (don't try to open it from the back as the hinge only allows the cover to open fully one way). However, the people that had this problem with the Kindle 2 were reported the problem to Amazon and they replaced the Kindle. I personally have not had this problem, though but it is something to be aware of.

The thing I really like about this cover is the feel of the inside which is what you wind up holding the most while you are reading. It is a very soft luxurious feeling grey flannel. The front cover folds back on itself (like a paperback) so you wind up just holding something that is just as wide as the kindle itself (i.e. not "double-width" like an open binder). The flannel lining sounds like a little thing. However, reading is often about the "curling up with a good book in a cozy chair" experience and the flannel reminds you of your most comfy flannel PJs and the lining adds to that perception.

The leather of the cover, itself is not of great quality but it looks decent. There are also firm foam inserts inside the front and back cover to keep the screen protected.

All in all, I'm very satisfied with the cover.

[NCJAR] Amazon Kindle DX Black Leather Cover (Fits 9.7" Display, Latest and 2nd Generation Kindles)

I wouldn't call the leather on the cover high quality by any means. To my eyes it looks like cheap leather. However, the cover does what it's supposed to do well. And there are no cheaper alternatives. There are a couple of sleeves that are cheaper but these leave the DX unprotected when you are reading.

The DX cover has a strong magnet that keeps it shut (no need of straps etc). Also unlike the competing M-edge cover that sells for the same price this locks along the hinge instead of using straps at the four corners which I think lead to a much cleaner and nicer looking interior. The hinge system is very easy to use and I recommend that you don't buy other covers that don't have this technology. The DX has a relatively big footprint so I like the minimalist nature of the cover, it doesn't really increase the footprint of the device any more than it has to and fits nice and tight.

The cover can be folded back completely if you want to read one handed (although the DX is quite heavy and not easy to hold with one hand unless you lean it on your arm).

The interior is a nice soft suede material and feels nice on the hands. This is great when you've folded the cover on itself, something that I like to do.

I give it four stars rather than 5 because the look and feel of the leather is not that good, it looks a little plasticky. But this is still, in my mind the best available option as a cover.

I preordered this cover with my Kindle DX and liked it very much at first. After about one week the front cover of the Kindle began to bulge up and after 2 weeks it began cracking. Amazon refuses to repair the Kindle DX under warranty. The Kindle is not a cheap plastic throw away product. It is an expensive item that provides a revenue stream for Amazon and should be treated in a more responsible manor.

Do not buy this product! It will damage your new Kindle and Amazon will not honor their warranty.

This is a nice simple leather cover that I would recommend. The leather has an attractive texture and the construction and stitching is neat. It does not smell noxiously like the Kindle 2 cover (does have a faint plastic chemical smell, but not that noticeable unless you hold it to your nose).

The biggest improvement comes from the magnets that 1) hold the Kindle to the back cover and 2) keeps cover shut. It doesn't take a lot of force to open, but holds it shut securely enough in normal situations.

I read the other reviews about the weight of the cover, but disagree. The cover itself is actually fairly light weight. I have a hard time imagine it being any lighter unless it's made out of a different material or made smaller. It's basically just leather, thin padding, and a felt-like inner surface plus the magnets and the clasps. While the DX is much heavier than the Kindle 2, most of that weight is from the DX itself and not from the cover.

I like this cover for its simple and understated design. The padding is thin, but thick enough to protect the DX. The felt-like inner surface is soft and won't scratch the screen or backing.

I received my kindle cover today and immediately put it on. I was horrified that this $500 product had been damaged at the level of the upper clasp immediately after I had snapped the Kindle in place. Apparently this has happened to others, but for some reason Amazon did not feel it necessary to include better instructions so that customers could avoid the development of this problem. I was told it was my fault that this occurred, bc I must have "forced the cover open from the back flap." I did not force anything. I opened the cover and the weight of the Kindle made it flop over to the front cover. I supposed this is when the damage may have occurred. I cannot understand why this cover is still produced, or why it has not been modified. I now have a very expensive item, and I fear it will have a shorter than expected life due to the damage sustained. I would not recommend this cover unless it undergoes some serious modifications. - Kindle Accessory - Leather Cover - Kindle Dx Case - Overpriced'

Garmin Carrying Case - garmin carrying case, gps case

This case is absolutly perfect for my Garmin Nuvi 255W (with room on both sides while in the case if you had a slightly wider gps, but fits snug for height). Much better quality than what pictures appear, and great for the price! (I paid 9.50). Nice and sturdy, and would definitely protect my garmin if I dropped it in the case. It is not hard like plastic, but rather has a synthetic fabric feel to the outside. This case would not fit any other cords, so if you're looking for something to hold your charger or stand/mount, this would not work. I'm just going to keep them seperate in my arm rest holder. Plus, the side pocket inside the case is perfect if you had any gas cards, coupons, or some spare just-in-case cash. It's a nice place to keep everything together. The zipper is high quality, and has a rubber covering on the part that you zip so it is more comfortable and won't scratch anything around it where it is being stored. The case includes a wrist strap (just like photo) and the ring/hook attached to the case to attach to the strap is sturdy and will definitely not break. Also, in the inside along the SD card holders flap, it has small elastic bands that would hold a ~4 inch-long pen/pencil if you ever needed a place to store one. Since it is usually wise to keep your gps with you when you leave your car (incase somebody were to break in and steal it from your car in a parking lot or something) having that pen holder is nice if you were to also include a shopping list in the side pouch. This is a really well thought out design for a gps case.

Overall, I would definetly reccommend this case to anyone I knew with a gps that would fit it. It is the perfect size (small, compact) and sturdy enough for protection. Great size for getting out of the car and throwing it in my purse to go get groceries/shop. Totally worth it, no regrets!! Compact Premium GPS Carrying Case for Garmin Nuvi 255W 4.3"

This left me wondering if maybe there was a better choice. I will say that the case holds the GPS unit, the car charger and the USB cable; as a matter of fact I think the case seems bulky (measures LxWxH = 5"x6"x3"). However, in spite of that bulkiness, I am disappointed in the fact that I have to bend the cord on the car charger very close to the charger plug, a notorious shorting point for an electronic power component, and it makes me worry that down the road I might have problems with the charger because of the way it has to be stored in this case.

I got this case on impulse when I bought a Garmin 255W. (Amazon is so good at promoting impulse buying.) The case is fine, and well made, as the other reviews have stated.

Trouble is, it's just a bit bigger than it needs to be to fit a standard Garmin wide-screen GPS (do I need those little pockets for storing 3 memory cards? not really), but it's too small to hold the GPS AND the car power supply cord. Just a little bit bigger and the cord would have fit in there.

If you bought a Garmin such as the 255W--you know that Garmin provides a soft fabric case, so if you don't need a semi-hard case such as this one, save your money.

Still, this is a fine little case for the money.

I would give this another star if it had a strap. It's a roomy case that is divided by a middle "flap". One half holds the GPS in a "holder" (think egg carton or jewelry case insert). This provides cushioning in case you drop the case. The other half of the case has a net that I use to hold the charger. No need to worry about scratches because the middle "flap" keeps the 2 sides separate. It's not sleek or slim and even with a strap, would be considered bulky to carry around.

If you ever have owned a GPS, PMP player, or even a cell phone, then you know how easy it is for these screens to get scratched! Even worse is when you drop them, most plastic digital devices today don't survive a fall to the ground, and usually will break into a million pieces. Recently I purchased one of those 4.3" digital portable media player devices, but it didn't come with a protective case, so I decided to buy this one for it.

EXPERIENCE: When I took the case out of the package, I noticed it was sealed in plastic. Once I removed the plastic, I was able to open the case up, which is closed by a standard zipper. Once I opened the case, I almost wish I hadn't! You know the smell you get from brand new shoes at your local shoe store? OK, it was that smell inside the case, only multiply it by 10. I say the smell is so toxic, one sniff of this case can leave you feeling mellow yellow.

However, the good news is, the case is constructed very well, its very tough, and very durable. The inside of the case is very soft, as to not damage whatever you have inside. They also include a carrying strap inside the case which you can attach to the O-ring on the outside of the case. This is kind of nice, as not everybody is going to have a pocket in their pants big enough to fit this case inside.

CONCLUSION: The main thing to remember here, is protection of your digital device, weather it be a GPS, PMP player, or cell phone. You want something that will protect the screen from scratches, and protect your device from a fatal fall to concrete. I believe all heartedly, this case does exactly that. However, its going to take a long time for the evil smell to outgas, so I would watch out for that. All in all, I give this a 5 out of 5.

This case is alright for the price. It is very basic. No pockets or storage. The shell does not have an "expensive look".

The one flaw I found is that there is a elastic strap that holds the two halves of the case together - that sometimes interferes with the zip closing easily.

I wanted to get a case for my Insignia 4.3" GPS I bought before I went on vacation a couple weeks ago. I came across this one and well hey, the price was right (1 cent, mind you!). I like it because it's a semi hard case, not flimsy but not rigid either. Plenty of room for my GPS. However, you can't fit anything else in there really besides just the GPS itself. For the price I am plenty satisfied with my purchase. - Garmin Carrying Case - Nuvi 255w - Gps Case - Garmin Nuvi 255w'

Wilton Cake Decorating Course - modeling tools, decorating tools

This was the most delicous and most "workable" fondant I have ever used. The taste reminds me of Tootsie Rolls. I am new to the fondant cake world (I am typically a buttercream kind-of-gal), but I wanted to take my cakes to the next level. I have used other brands and they were hard to work with and tasted terrible. This fondant rolls out and smooths out like a dream! I love this product and will be ordering more of it today!! A V Equipment - headphones, a v equipment

First off, there are TWO Rolls HA43 amps: The regular, and the "Pro" which is what this review is for. Be sure you're getting the Pro! It has more features, looks better, and costs the same or less than the regular version.

This is a great little headphone amp, especially to improve a PC's sound quality and volume. It's small, simple, has some great features, and the sound quality is excellent. I can't compare it to the "real" pro headphone amps out there that cost some serious cash, but I can say that my headphones (Sennheiser 280Pro and 555) both sound a lot better with this amp. The bass range on my 280's - which was really weak coming directly from my PC's audio - sounds much more deep, clean, and sharp.

FEATURES:

----------

-- Two INPUT types - You can use either the standard stereo RCA connectors, or 1/4" stereo TR (a large stereo headphone plug). The "non-Pro" HA43 has only a 1/4" TRS input jack.

-- Supports FOUR headphones, each with it's own individual volume slider. I had both my 280 and 555's plugged in and blasting away w/o a problem. Sound-quality-wise there's no difference between using 1 or 4 headphones.

-- Each of the 4 outputs has two stereo jacks to use: Either an older TRS 1/4" stereo jack, or the newer standard 3.5mm mini stereo jack that all headphones seem to have these days. The non-Pro HA43 amp only has 1/4" TRS output jacks.

-- It's small (about the size of two credit cards laid top to bottom). It also has four thick rubber feet, so there's no chance of scratching a typical desk or other surface.

MORE INFO

----------

I'd like to have a few small extra features like being able to wall-mount it, but I can't say there are any cons to this amp. Here's some extra info for you though:

-- There's no power switch so it's always on. But after 7 hours connected to my Kill-A-Watt meter, it still hadn't registered any power drain.

-- It's powered by a power brick. Oh well! There's an unobtrusive green LED on top of the amp to show you the thing is powered.

-- The volume sliders have only one detente, or "notch" at the half-way point to let you know how far it's been pushed. More would be nice, but oh well.

-- Be CAREFUL! Beyond the slider half-way point, this thing gets very LOUD. I mean "These go to 11" loud! I try to keep the slider at the half-way mark just to be safe with my ears, and that's plenty of power.

-- This amp probably isn't limited to headphones, but if you're using it for speakers, make sure your speakers are self-powered. I doubt this amp will support non-amplified speakers.

If you're a true audiophile who needs to have the absolute best sound available and you can spend the cash for that quality, this amp probably isn't for you. You probably have better headphones than me, and you probably aren't using the amp on your PC anyway.

I am extremely picky about my sound quality, but I can't yet justify spending $400-$2000 on a serious Pro headphone amp. With the headphones I have, though, this little amp does a GREAT job and is definitely worth the price. Rolls HA43-Pro 4 Output Stereo Headphone Amplifier

I tried to wait a couple of days to write this review of the unbelievable Rolls (Royce!!) HA43 Pro Headphone Amp, which the manufacturer's insert touts as being for "School, Studio, Broadcast...anywhere you need four channels of clean, loud headphone amplication." Man, I'll second that!! How about your very own home photography/PC & Mac Studio? Does that qualify, dear Rolls people? I think so! Anyway, the sound and output is so compelling and incredible that I couldn't wait to publish this synopsis.

Like the other very nice review above this one, ie the 1st one by the gentleman from San Francisco, I am going to fully, and totally compliment the makers of this thing 100%, and then some. It is so hard to put into words the quality and comprehensive sound quality enhancement the Rolls HA43 gives virtually any type of recording, but here goes, along with a list of the benefits and controls:

Benefits, controls:

***Loud, and I mean REALLY LOUD amplification, clear as a bell, without distortion

***4 Headphones at once driver system, so that you and four friends can hear distinctly different levels of a record, broadcast, TV show, movie, tape, etc...individually controllable outputs

***3.5mm stereo (1/8") or 1/4" TRS stereo headphone adapters for output

***TRS Stereo 1/4" phone, or Dual RCA inputs (take your pick, not to be used at the same time!)

*** 20dB Maximum Gain per channel, for each headphone, 51 Ohms impedance for each output

***S/N Ratio=>90dB

***THD (distortion): .008% (!!!...incredibly low, virtually imperceptable)

***Small Size: 4.15 x 3.45 x 1.16 (W X H X D) inches dimensions, weighs only 1 pound

***Has 4 small padded "feet" on the bottom to prevent scratches, distortion, vibration

***12V DC PWR Adapter, unique to this unit do not substitute!

***4-Channel Level Controls by 4 sliders, one per each headphone

***1 Year 100% labor and parts warranty

The manufacturer warns, outside in the packaging: "It's Loud...lots of output level!" And you'd best believe it because this thing will blow your ears out anywhere past level "6" out of "10", and even that is pushing it for most people as 3-5 will be the comfortable level to reach with the individual sliders. The finish and fit, and look of the little contraption is just 1st class all the way. There's little to wear out or break, apparently, just the 4 slider controls that actually move, while the rest of the unit is solid black with KUHL white graphics for each channel's output level, and an LED (small, and green...subtle) that indicates it's powered on.

Personally I am going to unplug my Rolls HA43 when I'm not using it, but apparently the manufacturer doesn't warn against leaving it plugged in 100% of the time...for me though, I am not taking any chances and will unplug the little guy just for sanity, and common sense! Why leave it powered on when you're not using it, I ask? Answer: it's simple to just unplug the adapter's cord and have it stored in a handy place close to the HA43 for next use.

The power cord from the mini-brick (and it is small) is 7 feet long, plenty of length from power outlet to the Rolls HA43, a nice feature. I must give everyone who's a potential owner of this "best of the best" headphone amps that hooking it up to the source can be confusing, even though it looks very simple. And I suppose it is, but read on. You need twin 1/8" Phono to RCA Plugs, and let me give a Radio Shack part number so there will be no confusion, as there seems to be about how to hook this beauty up:

Radio Shack 4202444 6' 1/8" PHONO PLG

You need TWO of those, one per channel, and they are MONAURAL PLUG to RCA connectors, plain and simple. DO NOT BUY STEREO PLUGS!! Just simple monaural plugs are what is necessary to complete the setup. If you purchase two stereo plugs it just simply will not work, so take my advice and get the above parts (2) and all will be well. This is all considering that you are connecting from a PC sound card to the amp/phones. For a monaural source like a single plug from a television or external stereo connector with just one fitting from the FRONT/REAR of a typical TV, stereo, tape system, etc, then you can use a stereo mini-plug (1/8" to split RCA plugs which yields stereo). PC sound cards have more than one channel for speakers, so the key is to pick two plugs to yield stereo, and with my Creative Titanium X-Fi Sound Blaster Pro Fatal1ty card, the stereo plugs are colored orange and green, with the black plug-in being both master and ground...you don't use that one, for Creative cards use the orange and green plugs! There, thoroughly confused now? Hah-Hah!

I don't mean to confuse anybody, but suffice to say that IF you have a multi-speaker sound card like I do with the X-Fi Fatal1ty card, use orange and green plugs, as black is master/ground, and blue is input from an external sound source, exclusive of the optical plug-ins of course! WHEW!

Getting the Rolls HA43 will be the best thing you EVER did for your ears, your head, your perception of what is good sound, from even the best of headphones. I am using the Rolls amp with a set of Audio Technica ATH AD700 headphones, roughly a $100 (wholesale, street price, retail is $249), and the difference between using the amp and not using it is literally night and day! They are good without an amp, don't get me wrong. But with the Rolls HA43 PRO the sound approaches perfection, if not being perfection itself, and there is no substitute once you've sampled what it actually is! It's not that the amp makes the sound loud, it's much more: it's full, the timbre and timpany of each note is sublime, and perfectly rendered, balanced, and you come away from a listening session with a "WOW! THAT was NICE!!" feeling every time.

If there is one thing to write down, and have you readers remember something specific about the Rolls HA43 Pro Headphone Amp, it's simply this: For $50 shipped, if you deny yourself the pleasure of your finest headphones driven by this beauty of an amp, then you never deserved to hear it in the 1st place! I honestly do not have a clue why I never sprung for a setup like this in the past, because I love good sound, in fact I have arguably some of the best audiophile speakers for my *2* stereos in the house, and another in my automobile, that $$ can buy. I guess I never thought it could be a better sound experience than that which I already have. Well folks, I was wrong! The Rolls HA43 Pro Headphone Amp is a must-have item for any audiophile, in fact it's so good I'll go on record as saying you just can't do without it!

Wiper Blades - wiper blades, outback

I got this to replace my 2007 Nissan Murano rear wiper blade after checking a few places around town. Everywhere store I looked at said they were going to have to order this part in. I checked amazon and found a great price and couldn't believe this - But I got it the very next day!!! (I paid for regular ground shipping) Installation was a little tricky (there were no instructions with the new blade), but a little research helped me out:

Replace the rear wiper:

1. Remove the black plastic piece that covers the wiper arm bolt. This plastic piece is right at the right angle where the wiper arm meets the motor shaft. This can be popped off just using your hand.

2. Once the plastic piece is removed, you can see a single #9 bolt that is holding the wiper arm onto the shaft. Remove it.

3. The arm will be FIRMLY in place. Once the bolt is removed the wiper arm will most likely still be stuck. You will need to firmly jiggle the arm for it to pop off. Please be careful not to apply too much force because the arm will break.

4. Once the arm has been removed you can turn the wiper to a 90 degree angle to the arm and it will pop off.

5. Replace the wiper blade with a new one. Note even though a 14" replacement looks larger it will still fit on the window. The new one will pop into place.

6. Replace the wiper arm onto the shaft and reinstall the bolt. Don't torque it down too much yet.

7. Once the arm is back on and the bolt is snug, go turn the wiper on and make sure that it is vertically in the right position. It should end up even on the window on both sides of the motion arc. If it is not, unscrew the bolt and move it a little.

8. Once it is in the right place, tighten the bolt down firmly, replace the black plastic piece, and you are good to go.

Good as new and soo much cheaper than having a dealer do it for you. Trico 14-B Exact Fit Rear Wiper Blade - 14"

This is the only rear wiper replacement I have found that will fit my Subaru Outback without going to the dealership. Otherwise, the only way to replace the wiper was to pull out the rubber strip and replace it with a new one. This conveniently replaces the entire part with no issues. I am sure the same goes for other makes and models as well.

Thank the good Lord for the internet! This blade was recommended and DOES fit the 2008 Suzuki SX4 Rear Wiper!!!!! And its bigger than the little OEM toy wiper that comes stock on the vehicle! Double kudos!

the exact replacement rear wiper i needed for my 2007 CR-V. fast delivery, fast and easy installation. i was pleasantly surprised that the entire process took me, literally, 10 seconds--that includes reading the instructions and removing the old wiper! just so happens it's raining today and the new wiper worked perfectly. all in all, an A+, from purchase to usage.

I'd been driving without the rubber part of my rear wiper blade for almost a year because finding the right match for my 2008 Honda Fit was next to impossible. This one is an exact match- I compared them side by side before installation. Getting the old one off without breaking the wiper arm was a pain... but installation of the new one is simple.

This wiper blade does fit the 2009 Honda Odyssey, the only problem is the blade is 2 inch shorter than the original blade in fact the original must be the Trico Exact fit blade because it looks like an exact copy only shorter.

Unfortunately this wiper did NOT work as an exact fit for my 2008 Honda Odyssey rear wiper. This wiper would not fit on the Odyssey's wiper arm... out of desperation I had to take the rubber blade out of the Trico assembly and fit it into the Honda OEM arm. - Outback - Wiper Blade - Wiper Blades - Honda Fit'

Lens Cleaner - photography, lens pen

I have tried so many different cleaning tools, and I always stuck with the basic lens tissues and cleaners. But with today's lenses, they didn't do the job (speed and ease) I was looking for.

The guy at my local (100 year old) camera shop recommended I try one of these.

I have removed all other cleaning items out of my bag except for one "cloth" that I use to clean the outside of my camera and this pen.

Always start with the "brush" to brush away any grit or sand that could possibly scratch the lens. Then lightly, use the other side (felt) to clean away smudges and other marks. It's quick, easy and unbelievably effective!

I use it on my lenses, the LCD of my SLR and even my cell phone.

The first one lasted me a year. I am on my second and recommend it everywhere I go. LensPEN Lens Cleaning System

I read about the LensPen in a photography magazine and decided to give it a try. Trying to keep DSLR filters and camera lenses clean is a chore, especially when cleaning liquids keep leaving some smearing, no matter how careful you try to be. The Lenspen has two types of cleaners in one small package -- a very good dust brush and an excellent cleaning wiper for smudges or dried moisture spots. I learned the hard way that dust can build up over time, especially on the small lenses of point and shoot digital cameras. This makes the pictures you take blury and darker than they should be. Don't be disappointed, if you want to keep those pictures as crisp as when your camera was new, you need to keep a lenspen in your camera bag and use it before every shoot. Two great tools in one tiny package make this job as simple as can be!

I used to use microfiber cloth to wipe off my lenses. I realize now how unnecessarily time-consuming and risky that was. This is a must-have. I am VERY picky about minute smudges on my glass. This "pen" flawlessly polishes them out quickly, and to me, the less time I have to spend rubbing something on my expensive lenses to clean them, the better. I didn't know water drops or smudges could come off so fast without a trace. Great product, and gentle on your glass.

Quick and Easy way to remove smudges and dust from SLR Cameras and Lenses.

Note:

When Amazon was out of stock, I ordered from a 3rd party vendor, Eforcity and received a counterfeit product. It wasn't the same high quality as the original Lens Pen and it went back to that vendor for a refund. I reordered from Amazon and received the correct product. So beware of counterfeits that are not of the same quality. I have used the NIKON version of the Lens Pen and it is identical, except for red vs. yellow plastic with black and of course, the higher price.

Some people have complained about getting a knock off but as long as you purchase it directly from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller, be assured that it is the real thing. See the third image for the one I received versus the fake one (second image). It does its job and is no different from all the old Lenspens I have used before. Good price, good product. Any carbon particles can be blown off with a rocket blower or with a similar contraption.

This is a great cleaning option to keep handy. I too have stuck with cleaning fluid and tissue, and will continue for thorough cleaning, but having this tool in my bag is very convenient.

The brush is great and the pad seems to remove smudges well.

With the first use I saw excess cleaning solution on the filter, but subsequent usage shows no signs of excess or streaking.

Highly recommended for portable cleaning.

I searched Amazon for "LensPEN LP-1" (the actual product name) and was brought to the page for this item. This is NOT a real LensPEN. It is a cheap Chinese knock-off. If you want the original item, keep searching because this isn't it. I don't know if this item actually works, because I won't risk using it on my very expensive equipment.

I don't believe this is a genuine LensPen. This one leaves a residue behind whereas I have a LenPen "micro" Pro and it is brilliant. Also I believe all real LensPens have the brand name on the pocket clip. Still, it's a nice brush for $3.

I order a Lenspen lens cleaning system by "LensPEN" from Amazon marketplace(HDE). I received the item and tried it on my lens, believe me my lens looks very bad after using it. I think I got an duplicate product because nowhere it says the manufacturer as "LensPEN". Be careful in choosing the seller.

Tired of smudging your LCD screen with your nose while looking through your camera's view finder? Then, a lens pen is for you! With a quick swipe, smudges are instantly gone. I can't believe I did not have a lens pen before now...you will be please, too, I'm sure. - Lens Pen - Cleaner - Photography - Lenspen'

Plus Size Girls School Uniform

Omg!!! I couldn't find any khaki skinny jeans anywhere and then I found them on Amazon. Even though they are skinny uniform jeans, I still wanted them. Anywho...long story short these are awesome for the price. They fit nicely. I read reviews saying to buy a size up and I did and that was a good idea. The jeans are fitted in the hips and butt area and loose in the waist. Which I like. Came in nice packaging, so it's cool with me. Also I ordered these pants yesterday, September 29...and I received them today. Talk about fast shipping. Southpole Junior's Plus Size Basic Uniform Skinny Pant, Dark Navy, 18'
