Ipod Touch - xm, iphone
Ok I must say I am extremely impressed With the XM Skydock. The install was easy, took about 20 minutes, 3 minutes was waiting for the area of the car I had to clean to dry. The only issue I ran into was I thought the cable that they give you that hooks up the receiver is short by about 6 inches (installed on a 06 Honda Civic). Activating the radio itself was a breeze, i did it all on line and never had to talk to a human which I enjoy. But if you have to speak to someone, it will be Bob from India. The sound quality of the radio was far beyond what I was expecting, it was crisp and clear, sounded just as good as music from my iPod. The app for the iPhone is perfect, you can tell they took the time to do it right the first time. Listened to it for the past two days and found no glitches or bugs in it yet, its absolutely beautiful. Overall I am pleased with this radio and would recommend it to anyone. XM XVSAP1V1 SkyDock with Built-In XM Tuner for iPhone and iPod Touch (Black)
First, some savings tips: Found an XM promotion online for a year of service for $77 (50% off the reg $12.95/mo rate); you have to call a special number (800-347-0600, which as a bonus appears to reach a U.S. call center) and ask for it. As of 12Nov09 it's still good but only for their basic package. I wanted XM Everything & the Best of Sirius, which is $16.99; the rep offered 3 months of service for $29.99 then the regular rate after that. Not nearly as attractive a deal but hey, at least they threw me a bone. Also saw online that XM will credit your account $12.95 for having a credit card on your account for recurrent billing. Asked for that and got it too.
On to the Skydock. Based on a few days' use, it's a very, very well done product. Installation was pretty easy, with the antenna obviously the hardest part. It sticks quite well to metallic surfaces but you then have to run the wire to a spot where you can plug it in to the Skydock when it's in use. So the challenge is hiding it behind panels, carpet, etc. along the way. A huge advantage over dedicated sat radio units is that you'll usually take your iPhone with you when leaving the car. One less thing for someone to steal, and it's also easy to detach and hide the Skydock if you're concerned about break-ins.
The iPhone app has been flawless except for a couple of minor irritations like occasionally having to tap several times before an input will 'take'. Also, when changing stations, the buttons and labels are small enough and far enough away while driving to require more attention than a typical car radio, so caution is definitely required. But the app is very intuitive and the ability to set alerts so you can switch over and listen to favorite artists/teams when they're on is a very nice touch. There are really too many cool features to list, like being able to choose favorite teams and see a little ticker with news about them.
It's a definite plus that all your iPhone/iPod functions work in the Skydock. When a call comes in, the programming or iPod music fades out and then back in when the call is over. I've seen complaints that the Skydock doesn't feed phone audio to the vehicle speakers but that's a 'so what?' for me since I use a Bluetooth earpiece anyway. It's very nice to have the iPhone handy in front of you when you're sitting at a light and want to take a quick look at e-mail or whatever. (UPDATE - Check your local laws. Since my original review last year, Georgia has outlawed texting/e-mailing or even reading messages while operating a vehicle. Please stay legal and, most importantly, safe.)
The sound is terrific using the supplied Aux cable, which we have in one vehicle. We live about 50 miles north of Atlanta and the FM method is good most of the time in the other vehicle, but this morning I drove downtown for the first time with the Skydock and it didn't work well at all. The problem in a large city like Atlanta appears to be that there are no empty FM channels that don't have a working channel on the next frequency up/down the scale, and the static/interference when driving near the city made the Skydock pretty much useless. In fairness, that's based on having chosen four empty freqs to use the Skydock with (another nice feature is that it can accommodate multiple frequencies) so I still have much of the FM spectrum to explore and may get better results in the future. Still, it's something to keep in mind for those in large cities.
One minor minus is that for bandwidth reasons maybe, Atlanta weather/traffic is on the same channel as Miami's. You sometimes have to wait for the Miami info to finish before you hear your own.
What's truly annoying is Sirius/XM's nickle and dime approach to customers. For example, I'd much rather have Sirius service but though the companies have merged, Skydock is an exclusively XM product. You can't have a Sirius subscription. The best XM package is $12.95 a month. But if you want NFL play-by-play or Howard Stern for example - not coincidentally, both highly popular Sirius products - you have to pay another $4 monthly. If you decide to drop the Sirius add-on, that'll cost you $5 to make the change. Have another, separate satellite radio? They make you get a SEPARATE subscription. Ridiculous. Nothing earth-shaking but irritating nonetheless.
And one more thing, not a dealbreaker but still very annoying, is that on Sirius' NFL play-by-play, there's a national feed but you can also choose either the home team or away team broadcasts. You only get that option on XM for prime-time games and of course that is never mentioned.
XM's crappy policies aside, Skydock is an outstanding product and highly recommended, especially for those who like me own an iPhone and have been on the fence about satellite radio.
I bought the SkyDock at BB last week and I love it! Sirius XM really did a good job with this. It was a breeze to setup. Just plug it in the cig adapter (it fits VERY snuggly) and plug in the antenna. Download the SkyDock app from the app store and call/go online to activate your subscription. Even before you activate, you can still use the SkyDock to listen to your mp3s or stream music from any other music app. When I first saw pictures of the SkyDock I thought the stalk looked a little odd and might be flimsy. But it's very sturdy and works great to let you position your device exactly where you want it. The new "PowerConnect" FM transmitter sounds very good and makes installation much simpler than other sat rad devices. I no longer have to have the extra SureConnect wires in the car that I was using with my XMp3. Of course if you have an aux in in your car that's going to give you better sound than using the FM transmitter. As for the app, it is extremely well designed and very intuitive. It's very easy to flip through categories, channels and select favorites while driving. There isn't a "scan" feature which would be nice, but it doesn't take long to figure out where to swipe and touch without looking (keep your eyes on the road!) to do your own channel scanning. Sirius obviously spent a lot of time designing and testing this. It's nearly perfect for a v1.0 app. This is an amazing device! Thank you Sirius XM!!! - Xm Radio - Ipod Touch - Iphone - Xm'

Battery Charger - chargers, battery pack
This product works pretty good and is a great replacement to constantly buying/replacing batteries. The problems with it are: it takes several hours to charge and doesn't tell you when it is done, the charging cable is only a few feet long and comes unplugged easily, when fully charged, only shows 3/4 bars on xbox screen. It lasts around 12-15 hours of gameplay. I recommend getting an extra one so that when it dies, you have a backup while it charges. It does not need the controller for it to charge, will work on any usb port (TV, computer, xbox). I read on someones reviews that it does not charge if the xbox is off, this is true for the front USB ports, the rear one (above the network cable jack on older models) will stay powered as long as the xbox is plugged in. Overall i recommend it Rechargeable Controller Battery Pack for XBOX 360 - 3600mAH
Good product, easy to use and made dealing with batteries no longer necessary. I've been using three battery packs for two controllers for about 3 months, and so far so good. You have to unplug the charger after charging is done, and you could charge it while playing, though it's quite short and probably not recommended. I'd buy a spare for sure. They last pretty long, maybe 10 hours per battery, and they are a big improvement over my NiMH batteries that I used previously.
I'll admit - I was a little skeptical with the overall appearance of the battery, let alone the charger. I let the 2 I ordered charge for about 18 hours before first use, and I easily got 2 weeks of life out of each, averaging 3-4 hours a day, almost double what I'd normally see with the OEM battery. For the price, you can get 2 for the price of one Nyko replacement, and the Nyko is known to fart out and die within 6 months.
Got 2 of these a couple months back, and theres been no problems what so ever. The only thing I wish was,on the pack itself, the light would turn a different color when fully charged(its always a solid green no matter what)BUT,small price to pay for not having to deal w/ battery packs/rechargable batterys.Like I said, cant beat the price-under 10 bucks (w/shipping,for TWO) - Charger - Chargers - Eforcity - Battery Pack'

Ugly Stick - ugly stick
This rod is great. It is strong enough for a big catfish, yet versatile enough for small bass or trout. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the reel isn't great, but not bad. For the price you can't beat it. Shakespeare Two-Piece Medium Heavy Action Ugly Cat Spinning Combo 7-Feet
great action, great bang for your buck. I brought this as my back up rod for my vacation, it quickly transitioned to my primary rod. You fancy fishermen out there may need more, but for someone casual this had great action and was pretty solid.
These are some really good rods for catfishing. We now have 13 rods and have never had any issues with them at all, weather catching smaller fish or the 40 and 45 lb catfish we frequent. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a very good fishing rod. The reels are decent enough for a short time to use, but if you are looking to catch larger fish, I would suggest changing the reels out to a better type that suits your fishing habbits. But for the price and reliability, you can't beat them!!!!
First off, beginner level fisher here with experience from fishing using two other fishing rod/reel combos from Shakespeare; both light duty poles.
I gave the Ugly Stick Catfish Rod/Reel combo 4-stars because the specific pole I received has the reel on kind of crooked with respect to the first wire guide where the fishing line goes thru. I did some adjusting loosening the twist locks and moving the reel a little bit in line with the eyelet but I'm not so sure if the reel will stay in its correct position permanently. Time will tell.
Other than that, I'm glad I bought this rod as I think it will hold up to the type of bass and catfish I intend to fish for at the pier near me(freshwater/inland) while still allowing me to get a feel for when the fish are there.
As for the reel, I think it's just okay, not good but not bad. It feels just like any other of Shakespeare's entry level combo reel offerings. But the only thing I don't like on this one is that I can't find the switch to let the reel spin in reverse to let the line loose sometimes, either that or this function is just not offered on this reel.
Anyways, this combo would've still garnered 5-stars had I received one with the reel seated properly straight from the manufacturer. But for the price and value I received, I'm really quite happy with this purchase.
p.s. I bought mines directly from Amazon and I was kind of worried my package would come in damaged since the guides seem fragile enough to easily get bent but today I open the door shocked to see this item come in a box meant for a 42" flat panel tv. Yup, a standard box for a tv, not a flimsy piece of cardboard taped up in the shape of nylon rifle case. Amazon, you rock!!!
I was looking for a bass rod. This is as close as I could find on Amazon. A lot of rod and reel combo sets had no real description as to the type of rod set it was. This catfish combo is working out great for bass fishing. About the right "weight" combination. The reel and rod are both good quality. I put some 8 lb test line on it and it is doing the job. I could have put a heavier test line, probably up to 12 lb but I did not what that heavy a line. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a good medium weight rod and reel.
Okay, so I am new to the sport of fishing but that doesn't mean that I cant like the equipment I purchase. Yeah, its not the best of the best, but it is great for a newbie that is trying to find what type of fishing is best for him/her.
I had read the reviews and will agree this pole is worth the price and very happy to have it but the only complaint I have is the reel doesn't have the anti-reverse switch which is handy but other than that it's a great product and worth the money. - Ugly Stick'

Reconditioned Tools
I got this nail gun together with the 18 Ga nail gun for an exterior trim project. This gun has the sturdier gauge nails, but I was not as impressed with the convenience of the loading mechanism. Additionally when it got down to about 5 nails it would no longer shoot as the spring mechanism that pressed the nails forward (think like a desk stapler) would slightly tilt the nails. It didn't jamb, but you would have to load additional nails to keep going. Both products have their place and this is still an excellent quality nail gun, I would recommend it for exterior trim work or heavier interior work. Bostitch FN1664K 16-Gauge Straight Finish Nailer
What is this item? It is described variously as the FN1664K - new, retail model - and as the FN1664KR - used, reconditioned model.
The Amazon page title and the Product Descriptions describe it as a new, retail item, but the Product Specifications and What's in the Box identify it as the reconditioned item.
Tried online chat and called in to customer service, and one says "New" and the other says "Reconditioned".
So I'm just asking: what is this?
And for now, I am rating it 2 stars because no one seems to know what I'll get if I order it... Will update or retract if I ever find out what's really in the box.
My old nailer finally bit the dust, so I opted for this one. I was a bit sceptical on the "oil less" but tried it any way. Seems to work just fine, no jams and drives just the way you would want it to. I'm not a heavy user, but use it a few times a month, so can't say how it would be in everyday use.'

I never purchased such an extravagant item on line before. I took a chance with fingers crossed. I was totally taken back at the product I received. The earings were exactly what I had hoped they would be. The sparkle, color and clarity were amazing. They also came with a written retail appraisel. 1.00 carat ct Round Diamond Stud Earrings in 14k White or Yellow Gold; (H-I Color, SI2 Clarity); Screw Back
I'm very pleased with this purchase. I bought these studs as a 10th wedding anniversary gift for my wife and she was thrilled! I was also happy about the screw back feature. It would be a shame to loose one of these! The business transaction with the seller was also very smooth.
I received these earrings from my husband for Christmas and they are beautiful,I have not taken them off since Christmas.I highly reccommend these, they have a screw back feature so you don't lose them. - Good Quality'
