Boat Trailer - superwinch, winches
The winch was as advertised, it was an old model but that is to be expected for the price. The fairlead fit the bracket that came with the unit but would not fit the bumper hitch bracket made by the same company. I had to buy a new fairlead to fit the speed fit bracket because the hole centers were different from one bracket to another. I called them and they said that they had changed the fairleads to a standard size so I would have to buy one from them for around $30 even though both brackets were from them and the box said it would fit their 3000 # winch. I guess you get what you pay for.
Randy Champion Power Equipment C30145 Winch Kit - 3,000 Pound Capacity
Ordered this item on a sunday and would have recieved it on Wednesday with standard shipping but due to a snow storm it came thursday! I have burned out two winches of another brand so i am excited to see how this holds up to my abuse. but i can tell already it is built better. the unit is very solid in itself and the control is very well made. the fairlead that came with it seemed a little on the cheap side but i am just using my old one. very easy installation just run two wires to the battery and two wires to the winch. there are even rubber gromits that go over the wire connections that previous more expensive models diddnt have. the free spool clutch works very good my only complaint is when under a load and you stop retracting the cable it gives an inch or two back... i am using this for plowing and when i raise my plow all the way it settles an inch or two after i let off the button. but works very good and is a very quiet smooth motor... Time will tell if it lasts but for the money this is a great deal. - Winch - Winches - Utv Winches - Superwinch'

This Is It - space pen, bullet pen
I'm a big fan of the Fisher Space Pen refills. I have them in most of my pens and I buy the refills by the dozen. One of my favorites is the Zebra F-701 stainless steel pen, slightly modified to perfectly use the Fisher refill. (I'll point you to the simple how-to for this if you ask). But I don't always have a convenient shirt pocket to clip my pen firmly in place. That's where this terrific pen comes into play. If I'm wearing a sweater or sweatshirt in winter or a t-shirt in summer without a pocket I just slip this into my pants pocket at I'm prepared to write on nearly any surface without fail. It is weighted toward the primer end and is surprisingly comfortable to write with.
It is heavy enough to stay in place without worries of it slipping out of my pocket and of course there is the novelty factor. It's simply fun to watch people's reaction when I pull a bullet out of my pocket and start to write with it. Just a caution here: I would not try to board a plane with this in my pocket. Flying is aggravating enough without trying to convince some TSA moron that the only way he could get hurt with this is if I threw it at his hollow head.
Also the normal rubbing contact with my fingers is enough to keep it nice and shiny I've had no need to polish it. The shell casing is a genuine H&H casing and is made from raw brass, it's not polished, but it is smooth and fairly shiny. This means I've no worries about loose change in my pocket dinging up the finish. Any tiny imperfections merely make it look more authentic.
I'm probably going to buy another in case I lose this one and I may give some for Christmas gifts this year, too. I could not recommend this pen more.
Additional note: the size of the pen as listed on the page is incorrect. Opened, with the cap in place on top, the pen is 4 3/8" long. Closed with the cap covering the writing tip, it is 4" long. It fits very comfortably in my pants pocket. Fisher Space Pen, .375 Bullet Space Pen (375)
All Fisher space pens I've owned have been very reliable.I dive for abalone on the California coast and by law your tags have to be filled out before getting back to shore ,if you are diving from a boat,so you need a pen thats going to write over a wet surface and they do.I always carry a pen in my pocket instead of loosing it out of a shirt pocket. The .375 is a bit large but it is very cool looking.I like it.
Jim
It's quite the conversation piece, intimidating yet fun to use. The only problem is when you put the writing side on the outside it might require a little extra effort to make it stay like that. The rubber piece doesn't keep it stable all the time.
But overall, I'm looking forward to using this for a long time to come!
This pen is really cool and well made. It fits in your pants pocket where it falls to the bottom, easy to find. It stands up on a table. It does come loose where it screws together, I try to check it and I could always put some locktite on the threads, no biggie. This is the nicest product I've bought in a long time!
This is so cool. Everything i expected. I use this pen at work everyday. It's a great conversation starter. Gets alot of attention. Everyone loves it. The most fun part is having someone ask for a pen, then handing them what appears to be ammo for an elephant gun. "This is a pen?" LOL. Best mass produced bullet pen that i have seen as of yet. Writes very smoothly. Five stars.
"T" shirts and most sport shirts have no breast pocket. Ordinary pens do not carry well in pants pockets and are prone to leak. This little pen, in addition to being a conversation piece, is very practical. It always writes, does not come apart and is easily deployed. I've sent several as gifts to the delight and amusement of my friends: and the price is right!
I have had rheumatoid arthritis (the inflammatory type) for over 30 years now, and it has done a lot of damage to my hands. I am a writer, and I need to be able to write by hand as well as by computer. I recently saw a detailed video series on AOL about handwriting, and it showed a position for holding the pen that particularly works for people with arthritis. I tried it, and it helped greatly.
Before, I had used an enlarged handgrip type of pen and pencil, and now I need one that is much smaller. And if I'm going to use ink, it needs to handle strange angles, because my grip may not be the angle most pens are used to. I've been using pencils with thick, soft lead, and that requires very frequent turning of the pencil, which means shifting my grip. Also frequently advancing the lead. Oy.
So I researched--a lot--and came up with the Fisher. I had tried a Fisher refill some time ago, but can't find it now and don't know which pen it fitted. I have a collection of pens and pencils. Now a whole bunch of them have dried up refills. Oy! The Fisher refill sounds good as an antidote to that.
Thanks to everyone who wrote reviews on Fisher pens! I found this one, read all your reviews, and thought it just might be good for me. And I ordered one.
Well, wow! I can write faster and better than I have for the last few years. Even though it doesn't have a clip, it doesn't roll off surfaces, just rolls rather slowly in a small circle. Fits in my pocket great. Allows me to keep one grip for a long time, and helps me write better. It's mentally better, too, because I can write faster.
Of course I need a back up! So I am here to order another. Sitting here with my trusty Fisher in my shirt pocket--snapped shut, 'cause I certainly don't want to lose it. Its weight is just right. I don't even feel it in my pocket, but it doesn't float around in there. It's a good friend!
Great product ..... If you want a pen that is tough you have to get this...
Good solid look and feel, it is actually rugged as a bullet.
Performance wise Fisher pens have never ceased to amaze me, it writes on all angles, upside -down, submerged under water too !! - Fisher Pen - Space Pen - Compact - Bullet Pen'

Ink Jet Printer Cartridges
The price per print of ink jet printers is simply expensive, especially when you consider the fact that the process is probably not even close to being archival quality. Yet for most they will suffice. It is commonly believed that if you want archival you should either use silver emmulsion (what you will get if you have your prints traditionally developed by a photo lab - even a one hour lab) or dye sublimation. All that being said, this ink and the printers they go into do a very good job. I've been very impressed. I don't think there is a huge difference over the last generation, but if you want the newer printers you have to make the switch to the newer ink. Good news is that it works with the current crop of paper.
What is great about this ink cartdridge is that in the canon printers it is the cartridge mostly used for black print, while the other black cartridge is used for photo prints. This keeps your cost of printing regular text a little cheaper.
Buying on Amazon isn't much cheaper than other options, but if you are signed up for Amazon Prime, it is increadibly easy to buy them and have them delievered very quickly (two days). Canon PGI-5 BK 2-Pack Pigment Black Ink Tanks 0628B009
I've tried generic and refilled brands and I'll never do that again. I print a lot of photos and CD/DVDs and there is a huge difference in quality from the real thing and the generic. The per page price isn't that bad and I use a lot of ink. The originals go far and is worth the extra cost.
Everytime I've purchased any Canon ink cartridge, and I've purchased well over a hundred bargain brand's and Canon's, I've been extremely pleased with:
o no clogging,
o quality print,
o page count per cartridge printing,
o every cartridge printing when installed
The only negative would be their high pricing, but I guess it proves the old axiom "you get what you pay for".
After souring on Epson printers (C.R.A.P.), I love both of my Canons. They're not ink hogs (could be better though) and the heads aren't clogging up once a month. Here is a great deal for two cartridges at not much more than the usual cost of one. Color me impressed.
Why make a trip to the store? You can get these cartridges delivered to your door in a few days for less than you will find them at your local discount store. They are genuine Canon products. Don't take the chance of gumming up your printer with substitutes.
I am a student and with my Canon Pixma MP600 used 3 reams of paper before I had to replace one of these black ink cartridges. I am happy with that. Amazon has the best price on these, plus no sales tax and free shipping.
Good product.....but....I hate the fact that Canon charges so much for these tanks and has made it impossible for 3rd parties to provide OEM tanks. Do you realize how much they are charging for a gallon of ink!?! Around $1500! A good gallon of ink runs around $100. Thanks for Amazon for selling to us at a discount which is less than you can get locally.
I am thrilled with my buy. I have looked all over and found my best deal at Amazon.com much to my surprise. I have ordered ALL my colors from here and will continue to do so. Ebay offers refilled cartridges without the chip needed and say for YOU to replace them with your old ones, well why take the chance of screwing up your printer...spring for the REAL ones that are COMPLETE. Best buy....Amazon.'

1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die - classic movie, western
Advertised as a comedy when originally released, LITTLE BIG MAN is much, much more than that. Director Arthur Penn's sweeping film depicting the clash of the Indian and white cultures will have you chuckling one moment, then shaking your head sadly at man's inhumanity to man the next. Dustin Hoffman as the ever industrious Jack Crabb takes this movie on his shoulders and carries it superbly. To say that the actor shows some "range" in this role is the epitome of an understatement: from portraying an adolescent teenager to a fragile 121-year-old-man (phenomenal makeup job), from snake-oil salesman to mule skinner, Hoffman brings Jack's fascinating life to splendorous glory. And Hoffman is funny--darn funny--with a wonderful knack for physical comedy. In addition to Hoffman, LITTLE BIG MAN offers other savory treats. Richard Mulligan is absolutely delightful as a narcissistic General George Armstrong Custer--the stunning Faye Dunaway positively wicked as naughty Mrs. Pendrake. Chief Dan George, who portrays Old Lodge Skins, Jack's adopted Cheyenne grandfather, delivers countless one-liners, yet lends a quiet, heartfelt dignity to his role. In fact, this is a movie one will wish to savor again and again--a beautifully crafted, well-made film that is timeless in its ability to entertain.--D. Mikels Little Big Man
The film opens on a decrepit, wrinkled, yet still energetic ultra senior citizen. He is the film's central figure - one who looks back on a 121 year life - a life lived in interesting times. Hoffman's Jack Crabb, is perhaps a more cynical old west version of Forest Gump. Through random experience, this one man encounters almost every legendary figure and event of the old west. Like the movie "Forest Gump", there is strong subliminal commentary on the period that came nearly a century after. Yet, very much unlike Gump, but true to it's era, Little Big Man sees more of the negative side of the world. At 121, Jack is very much a critical child of the 1960's.When first shown in the early 70's, the film's protracted war on the Native American culture became a metaphor for the period of genocide, then closing in Vietnam. While perhaps lost on first time viewers today, the protest message is so strong, that one can almost hear the sounds of helicopter air cavalry under the droning thunder of Custer's horse mounted assault on an Indian village. All that is missing is the Wagner and Napalm of "Apocalypse Now".The eyes of Jack Crabb see the white man as bigoted, arrogant, insincere, vindictive and amoral - as he fluctuates between white culture and that of the Native Americans, whom he labels: "the human beings". A bit of a shuttle diplomat at times, Jack becomes almost an external missionary to both nations, while never truly accepting, or being accepted, by either group. On the first level, Little Big Man is satisfying entertainment, on the next it is literature. One can see this film merely as a humorous western with employment opportunities for half the character actors in Hollywood and smile frequently. - OR - One can also look deeper and see the perspective of the period in which it was written and developed. It may give one pause to think hard about the mood of those times.
I remember seeing the original theatrical release of Arthur Penn's "Little Big Man" in the early 1970's. Now over thirty years later it has been released in DVD form and it is a film, that is both funny and tragic as ever.In the film, 121 year old Jack Crabb (played humorously by Dustin Hoffman) recounts his life (in narrated backflash) growing up among both the Cheyenne Indians and the white man in the old wild West.We follow the Crabb character as he goes through various phases as a Cheyenne warrior, a medicine show conman, a gunfighter, entrepreneurial business man, drunkard and finally a mule skinner/U.S. Army scout. Crabb is a man trapped between two cultures. He hilariously stumbles through the old west trying to find a place among his own kind, even though his heart is still with the Cheyenne Indians who adopted him. The movie leads up to Crabb's eventual, critical participation in the 'Battle of Little Bighorn', otherwise known as 'Custard's Last Stand'.The film is humorus as it shows how little people change over history. Just as today, people of the historical old West were driven by such things as love, lust, vanity, power and money.Unfortunatly they also were driven by bigiotry, hatred and violence. One of the main themes of "Little Big Man" is the terrible, almost genocidal treatment of the American Indian at the hands of the U.S. government. It's somewhat ironic, that the Cheyenne in the film refer to themselves as 'the human beings', yet the white men seem to treat them as anything but that. Arthur Penn (director of "Bonnie & Clyde") has created a sprawling, well directed, historical tapestry of a film, which makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time. The movie is a star vehicle for the then young, Dustin Hoffman. Like "The Graduate", this film shows off, what a wonderful comic performer Hoffman can be.The large cast has many standout performances. Faye Dunaway is hilarious as Jack's religious, yet lascivious, adoptive mother, Mrs.Pendrake. The same goes for comic actor, Richard Mulligan, who puts in a very funny performance playing General George Armstong Custard as a pompous egomaniac, who's vanity leads to his imfamous place in history. But by far, one of the best performances in the film comes from Chief Dan George, who play's Hoffman's wise and mystical, yet somewhat scatological adoptive, indian grandfather. The character is intersting, because he always seems to be able tell us the obvious truth of the moment. He understands that this time in history is the begining of the end for his people. I love the speech he makes in which he explains, that "there are endless amounts of white men, but only so many 'human beings'" (indians). Its's a shame Chief George didn't get an Academy Award for his wonderful performance. The DVD for this movie has a good picture and sound transfer, but is absolutly bare bones in extras (not even a trailer). Still, it is great film, which I highly recommend. - Native American Movies - Comedy Western - Classic Movie - Western'

Reconditioned Tools
I got this nail gun together with the 18 Ga nail gun for an exterior trim project. This gun has the sturdier gauge nails, but I was not as impressed with the convenience of the loading mechanism. Additionally when it got down to about 5 nails it would no longer shoot as the spring mechanism that pressed the nails forward (think like a desk stapler) would slightly tilt the nails. It didn't jamb, but you would have to load additional nails to keep going. Both products have their place and this is still an excellent quality nail gun, I would recommend it for exterior trim work or heavier interior work. Bostitch FN1664K 16-Gauge Straight Finish Nailer
What is this item? It is described variously as the FN1664K - new, retail model - and as the FN1664KR - used, reconditioned model.
The Amazon page title and the Product Descriptions describe it as a new, retail item, but the Product Specifications and What's in the Box identify it as the reconditioned item.
Tried online chat and called in to customer service, and one says "New" and the other says "Reconditioned".
So I'm just asking: what is this?
And for now, I am rating it 2 stars because no one seems to know what I'll get if I order it... Will update or retract if I ever find out what's really in the box.
My old nailer finally bit the dust, so I opted for this one. I was a bit sceptical on the "oil less" but tried it any way. Seems to work just fine, no jams and drives just the way you would want it to. I'm not a heavy user, but use it a few times a month, so can't say how it would be in everyday use.'

Eau De Toilette - mens fragrance, gift idea
There are two different Swiss Army brands; Wenger, and Victorinox (though Victorinox recently bought Wenger, according to Wikipedia). The Wenger brand tends to cater more to the economy market, and I think it shows in this Eau De Toilette.
It's a decent fragrance, but like another comment said, it doesn't last very long. I'd also add that it's not very distinctive. It reminds me somewhat of the old Brut cologne or an aftershave. Keep in mind that it's an "Eau De Toilette"; it's a little weaker than a "Parfume" -- which isn't bad, it just means you have to use a little more to get the same level of scent.
I'm not unhappy with it, but I don't think I'd get it again now that I've tried it out. Maybe my expectations were too high for a knife manufacturer's venture into fragrance. :) Swiss Army By Swiss Army For Men. Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4 Ounces
My daughter bought this for my husband several years ago as a gift. He loves it! Everyone loves it! I have had nurses come out of pre-op to ask me what he's wearing! It's getting hard to find, great price!
This is most definitely one of Swiss Army's greatest works in their line of male scents. Lasts all day and has the scent that brings you the compliments you look for in a great cologne with a good bargain price.
Definitely would buy again.
I like this fragrance as its not overpoweringly strong. Its light and refreshing, lasts for a short period of time and can be worn at all times, at work or play. I am very satisfied with this product and i use it all the time. I would recommend this hands down, although dont expect the fragrance to last for more than a couple of hours.
I bought this item way back in 90's for my hubby and he have insisted using it since then until now. The scent is so unique that I could identify that its my hubby if he happens to walk past my office (working in the same company)..The scent last really long even after two washes...
great item and my hubby cannot live without it.
thanks Swiss Army

This is the second time I bought the Swiss Army from Amazon. I bought it last year for Christmas and this year. I think it smells very good. You can't find this in any store! I've looked! I could find it online, but this was the best deal I could find. Thanks Amazon.com! - Eau De Toilette - Gift Idea - Mens Cologne - Mens Fragrance'

Waist Trimmers - support, waist belt
I was skeptical about this product to be honest. I've learned that when it comes to my body, to change something requires Dedication and Discipline. I had fat stored in my stomach area (even though I'm skinny 6"3 and 200lb). I used this product for 2 weeks.
I did not change my routine and I never made abdominals and had poor cardio performance. I mainly did chest, bicep, back and other main muscles. During every exercise I felt the heat i was generating in my stomach area.
I had to readjust the Trimmer 3 to 4 times in a 2 hour period because of the water I was losing.
In just 2 weeks my stomach fat was greatly reduced and my waist looks way better. My Body fat is more or less the same 18% +/-1%.
I highly recommend it! McDavid Waist Trimmer
I have tried a number of different waist belts and this is by far the best one I have ever had. Several of the ones I have had before wore out quickly and number of them were not wide enough to cover the entire mid-section. This one is by far the strudiest and best one I have ever had over the past 10 years. I am ordering several more just in case the next time I need one I can not find this brand. Whatever you do - don't buy the belt by GoFit. It wears out in less than a month.
I did not buy this belt with huge expectations of loosing inches. Exercise and diet does that. I really wanted it because I have a condition called diatasis recti. Not serious, but it has resulted in a herniated belly button and looks terrible if I am exercising. I needed a tight, tough belt to hold everything together.
I have had this belt on all day now while working. The first belt I bought was the Bally Slimmer Belt With Zippers. I thought the zippers would make for a tight fitting belt versus the Velcro.
The Bally belt fell apart the first day. This is one is strong and sturdy. The Velcro system is fine.
I bought this item few weeks ago and I have used it during my daily exercise routines, and i have to confess I find the product very helpful. With it I have been able to burn off some of the excess fats in my mid section area, and I have no doubt it will play a large role in helping me meeting my weight target for the year.
After my pregnancy i had trouble losing my pregnancy weight, and most of the pregnancy weight remained in my waist area and i have been searching for a good waist trimmer belt, I tried so many belts and none fit well, This is the best, It doesn't roll off and i can wear it how tight i want unlike the other ones, Easy to fold and store so soft on the skin, Can be worn directly on the skin.and seems to be of good quality too..I will definitely suggest this one to my friends.
After I had abdominal surgery, I was sent home with an elastic binder that fell apart after a week. I ordered the McDavid Waist trimmer to replace it and have been pleased with the quality so far. After a couple of weeks of constant wear, it still looks and feels like new. I wear it over my clothes, so I don't much of the sweating effect that you would have if you wore it next to your skin. I'm sure there are binders that offer more support, but this is the right amount for me, I feel secure without being uncomfortable.
I'm a size 12, and the belt fits fine with about 7 inches of overlap. It can be trimmed if necessary, but I liked the extra protection of having two layers across my incision, especially when driving because of the seat belt.
I absolutely love this product. It stretches to whatever size fit I need
and the best part.....it stays in place!! I do NOT have to keep adjusting it.
Once I place it in a comfy position...it remains there until i am ready to remove it.
i lOVE the width and overall feel. I have been wearing this at work (for about
a week now) and boy do I sweat underneath it. My skin and shirts get pretty wet.
I can see results from wearing this item. No major weight loss from the ab area...
not that I was expecting that from just wearing it on my ("sit down")job.
I plan on working out with it....hopefully I will see more results.
I recommend this item to all. I am glad that I found this brand. I am going to order
a few more. I would hate to have something happen to this one and not be able to
replace it. I have tried a few of these waist trimmers and this one by far is the best!!!
Thank you, AMAZON AND McDavid brand~~~~;)
I've tried quite a few trimming belts and this is by far the best! It is very comfortable and the material they use are the best. I used it for the first time while using my treadmill and it made me drip sweat like crazy. If you have tried alot of belts before, you'll have to try this one. I love this belt and it does what it says it will. You won't be disappointed! - Waist Trimmers - Waist Belt - Abdominal - Support'

Countdown Timer - bathroom fan timer, lutron
As a commercial and residential electrician for over 14 years, I have been a fan of Lutron Products. I have always like the sleek styling of their dimming switches, with the small sliders . One of the reasons i bought this switch over the Leviton (Leviton LTB30-1LZ) one was it does not need a neutral for it to work. I also like the tap twice to turn on ( and by passing the countdown timer ). I use this in a small bathroom to control the fan ( Panasonic ) as i like to let it run a few minutes after a shower to full vent out the moisture, and the easy tap up or down to adjust the time works well. Installation was simple, 3 wires, the ground wire, the hot and the switch leg. That's it. The switch does not get hot since it's not dimming. The switch is a bit bulky, and it's not a problem if you do not have a lot of wire coming in or out of the switch box, in my case i had a separate feed for my lighting. Lutron MA-T51-WH Maestro Countdown Timer, White
I bought the MA-T51-WH switch because it was a good looking countdown timer with increments up to 60 minutes as well as an always-on mode. I also liked the fact that it didn't require a neutral connection... until I installed it and found out that the lack of a neutral caused a problem.
I have a fan and fluorescent light which are connected to the switch, and when I pushed the switch, it would turn on for a moment then turn off for a second or two and then turn on again (and stay on). After contacting Lutron technical support (which is excellent), I learned that the lack of a neutral connection makes the switch less robust for certain types of loads. It probably works for most people, but since it didn't work for me, they recommended that I get the same model of switch that also has a neutral connection (MA-T51MN-WH). Since I have a neutral connection in my switch box, this wasn't a problem for me. The neutral connection did the trick and now the switch turns on as it should. One more thing that I learned is that the model without the neutral can have the two wire leads connected in either order, but once a switch with a neutral connection is added, the order of the live leads is very important. If they are connected in the wrong order, the switch won't work.
Now that I have the correct switch and all the wires connected correctly, it's working admirably. If you have a neutral connection in your switch box, you may want to play it safe and just get the switch with the neutral. It only costs a little bit more and could save you some trouble.
this a great simple countdown timer switch for exhaust fans or whatever you want to set to run and then shut off automatically after a predetermined period of time (adjustable). Best thing is that it works in a switch loop wiring configuration which means you don't need a common (white) wire in the box to make it work. Connect the green to the ground and the other two wires to the two terminals (doesn't matter which one where) and you are good to go.
This is a very easy timer to install, and I am happy with it....
I basically just removed the plate, unplugged the existing wires, and plugged in the new ones. Had to fiddle with the grounding wire a bit (not an issue with the product....it was an issue with what was available in the junction box), but eventually managed to get a good connection to the existing grounds. This outlet supports both screw type terminals, and plug in terminals for 14 gauge wire (14 gauge max size for plug in terminals). No neutral wire is required. Apparently, the NEC allows you to also not ground the thing under very specific circumstances where a ground is not available. I had a ground available, so I used it.
Note the following:
This timer has a maximum current load rating of 5A (~600W). It is probably not appropriate for heating lamps (at least, it will be a close thing for these items - check your application). If you have a very tight fit in the junction box, you have to remove some metal fins from the side of the switch, and this will reduce the load rating by 1A or so.
The timer has good features - you can use the rocker switch on the side to adjust the timer from 5 minutes to 60 minutes. It also has an "manual off" mode, activated by pressing the switch twice quickly. This turns on the switch until you manually turn it off. Nice feature....
It has an "off override" (used when changing lights, etc.) to ensure that power is shut off to the switched circuit. There is a little plastic piece you pull out from the front of the switch to activate this mode.
On the negative side:
The switch feels a little bit cheap and rickety....it's not super "solid". If you place your finger on the switch and move your finger slightly, the plastic switch will move a little bit...it's a little bit loose. Not a big deal, and I don't have any concerns about longevity/reliability - it's just simply an aesthetic issue.
I haven't measured this, but I think there may be a very small (less than 1W?) amount of standby power used when the switch is OFF. It feels very slightly warm to the touch when the switch has been off for a while. Again, I'm not sure about this. It also may be normal for these types of switches.
For certain, there is some loss in the switch when it is in the ON position. The switch warms up slightly when the switched circuit is drawing current. Not sure how much loss there is, probably a few % of the load wattage. I suppose this is normal for these types of switches, but I don't really know.
-----------------
Edit:
This switch is still going strong. I like it! I recently discovered (reading documentation on Lutron website), that there are a couple of nice features that I didn't know about, which can be useful in certain situations:
- You can make sure that the timer ALWAYS reverts back to a certain "timeout" period (say 15 minutes), even if someone manually adjusts it one time to make the period shorter or longer. This is useful if you have kids fiddling with the lights, or someone who doesn't know how to use it, and they accidentally adjust the timeout period. This way, you don't always have to be adjusting it back to the right setting (say, for a bathroom fan, you might always want 30 minutes of run time).
- You can override the "double-click" function, which normally turns the light on without timer (it stays on until turned off). If you always want the light to turn off, without the possibility of it staying on indefinitely, you can change the mode of the switch so that a double click will result in the maximum timeout period (60 minutes).

I have a few off color orange shirts I wear this watch with. It's fashionable in the sense that it goes well with them only--unless I'm in all black. The watch looks really good. Just be carefull not to bang it up too much because the black coating will come off. Stuhrling Original Men's 141.33557 Sportsman's 'Eagle' Swiss Quartz Date Watch
I've been wearing for a year now. Looks better than pictured. Fashionably big without being clownish. The orange stitching is understated and you can wear the watch with any color. Keeps time great. My "watch guy" friend commented on it a few weeks ago.
Has far exceeded considering the price.'
