Belt Hole Punch
This is the cheapest hand punch you can buy, and you shouldn't. The handles are made from formed sheet steel -- the razor sharp edges from fabrication have not been removed. If you buy or own one, smooth down those edges with a file or a knife steel, or you're going to bleed at an inconvenient time. The punches themselves are not removable and rotate into place. This wouldn't be bad if it was only for occasional use, but the punches are not 90 degrees and flush to the brass anvil on mine and therefore it doesn't punch clean holes, you have to clean out the scrap with a knife. If Chinese leather workers actually have to use this tool, I feel very sorry for them.
Summary: Spend a little more for a decent punch. Don't buy a PSO (punch shaped object). Leather Hole Punch Tool
This tool is very poorly made and not adequate for any leather. The wheel is not in sync with the pad and when trying to punch a hole the wheel turns. The supplier contected me an offered to send me a heavy duty tool which I thought was very generous. However since that contact I have not heard from the supplier. I offered to return the tool and to pay the difference for a more adequate tool but have heard nothing from the supplier.
Shipping was fast. The tool had an issue:
The safety lever would not open. It was too long so it was not possible for it to slide/turn to open position. Had to use my file to file it down to correct length so it would turn open.
After that mod, it worked fine.
Punches holes through leather with no problems at all and the tips are sharp enough.
In my case, I had to fix it and made it work. So I rated it as OK (3 stars out of 5) because the price was right. You get what you pay for.
Now I am happy with it.
The item arrived promptly, well packaged, and I found it to be as advertised. It worked well for the purpose for which I purchased it, and I have no complaints about the item, or the purchasing process. I found it to be a good value for the price I paid.'

Laptop Workstation - lapdesk, bed tray
after long research I decided on this stand.
it is light, portable, has space for a mouse.
you can adjust the height of the legs, the angle of the laptop.
i am using it with a 13 inch macbook pro, works perfect
there are two fans that can be plugged in through usb, keeps your laptop cool
perfect for use in bed
have been using it for a few weeks and it is sturdy, well designed
i am very happy with it E-Stand LD09 W White/Black Laptop Table
I was worried because my computer is so large, but this stand works well. Taking it out of the packaging this morning, I thought it felt flimsy, but I decided to give it a shot. After setting it up and using it for a bit, I think it's going to work.
With a larger computer, the desk space is a bit cramped, but there's enough room to use a mouse. The cup space is a bit pointless, though.
When tilting the computer up, you lose some stability, but it will hold the weight.
The two small fans work perfectly, and kept my computer cool to the touch through hours of Netflix viewing.
Overall, it's a great stand for a great price. Time will tell if it remains sturdy.
I like the product. Serves the purpose. It's pretty light and I like the fact that it has a cooling fan to keep my laptop cool.
The only downside is that it feels a little flimsy. I handle the product with a lot of care not wanting to break the legs.
Other than that, it's a good product for the price.
The laptop table has a good general design. I like the USB mini fans under the desk to provide air circulation. This table should work well for small to medium sized laptop. Unfortunately I have a 17" gaming laptop. The laptop overhangs the angled laptop portion of the table to the point that it's not really practical to use for me. I stress: smaller laptops should enjoy this part of the design. My only other concern is that the legs seem a little flimsy. Time will tell how well the table holds up.
I recently broke my leg very badly and was told in the hospital that I would be on bed rest for 8 weeks if not more. Knowing I had to work from the couch and bed I needed a computer lap stand. Wen to trusted Amazon, scanned reviews and prices. I bought this with a little doubt since it was so cheap.
A month of bed rest I use this stand 8-12 hours a day for everything, meals, work, reading, computer, etc. Works great and well built. Being 250 pounds and 6'2" I was concerned about the leg adjustments, no problem there either as the stand fits nicely over my mid section.
Ive been using the table now for a few weeks for my new netbook. I use in on a futon in the iving room and like that each of the legs can be adjusted independently to allow for unevenness in the futon padding. The legs are real strong, but I wanted lighter, portability over strength, durability, and weight. I havent needed to use the usb fans but I like the mouse pad and its rounded on the edges so its pretty comfortable on your wrists. The adjustable angle to the laptop platform is nice to have. I recommend it.
It is much better than I thought it would be. It just came today but, so far so good. The only thing I don't like is that it folds in half and when you open it, there is no locking mechanism to keep it open. With that said, it does stay up fine on it's legs. I will not use it as a table on my lap though, the whole reason I bought it...and I may not have found this locking mechanism yet, I just got it today.
It looks better than I pictured, it's not as cheap looking as I imagined. More of a metal, soft white so the contrasting black is not as loud as the picture.
*****
A couple of weeks later, the only thing I don't like is having to pull each individual leg out every time I want to use it. I know that sounds lazy but, I take classes online. Id like to just have a simple 1 or 2 step fold process. It is still a good product in that it gets the job done but, I get tired of collapsing all 4 legs and opening/locking each one indivdually after/before every use.
I have a 16" inch Dell laptop, and it fits very nicely on the table, with plenty of room for my mouse. One of the buyers said that the product was flimsy, but I decided to take a chance on it anyway, and I'm glad I did.
One "precaution". The table is very stable when it's down the lowest it can go. Once you start elevating it, it gets a LITTLE shaky, but not enough for me to be dissatisfied with the product.
For $13.47 you can't beat it! I'm typing on it right now! :)
I bought this product for my family's first laptop. My teenager keeps putting the laptop on a blanket and my wife prefers to use a mouse. Having a cooling fan built in and the price was the reason I chose this over other products.
The table does what it says - holds laptop, provides cooling fan, adjustable legs, folds up for easier transport and has an area for mouse, mug and pen.
When I am sitting on the couch the legs extend to far out to be supported on the seat cushion - thus I just fold in the legs and lay the table on my lap which works fine for a while until I want to move the table. The legs don't lock in underneath and the folding table also does not lock in the open position - causing some minor frustration.
The table does stay close when it is folded up and being transported and also has a place to lock in the USB cable inside/under the table.
My Toshiba 15.7" laptop seems top heavy when placing the laptop on the tilted holder.
You can only use the cooling fans while the laptop is in the tilted position but they seem to work fine.
The beverage holder is too shallow and narrow for most of my mugs, glasses. (I typically would not promote any liquid near a laptop unless it was a spill proof container and/or the laptop has a spill proof keyboard.)
Have no need yet for the pen/pencil holder (not typically writing while on the laptop).
The adjustable plastic legs still seem to hold up fine.
I'm still happy with the price of the product but would pay another $5 for version 2 -
1. Lock in the legs below,
2. Have a sliding mechanism to lock the table in the open position,
3. Modify the design location of the USB location so that the cable can be attached without having the laptop in the tilted position,
4. Make the tilted section larger to support larger laptops,
5. Make the cup/mug holder bigger and deeper - Lapdesk - Laptop Desk - Laptop Table - Bed Tray'

I have hung drywall for 35 years and had always nailed it. I had used the ds 200 both 2300 and 4000 rpm My employees and myself thought they were great except for the battery mount. When they came out with the DS 202 they had fixed the problem. I currently own 15 of these guns and they are great. We put in about 30,000 screws a week and I have only had one gun wear out. I wish they had these years ago it would have saved alot of wear and tear on the wrist and forearm. Senco DS202-14V 3P0001N 14.4-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Screwdriver
I have only used this for floors so I can't review how well it works for drywall. My only complaint is the battery life. The driver had enough power but in laying a 1/2" plywood underlayment in a 9' x20' room, I discharged both batteries that were fully charged when I started.
I do like this and all the accessories that came with...the case is nice too. I just wish the batteries would last a bit longer on driving through wood. - Screw Gun - Duraspin - In-line Screwdrivers - Contractor Supply'

Bluetooth Headset - bluetooth headset, bluetooth
I use this when I do my 1.5 acre yard. With good in-ear earbuds the sound is great, and I don't have to worry about a cord being ripped out of my iPhone and damaging it. I can also put the iPhone in a sealed ziploc bag so it's completely safe from rain, perspiration, or accidents with the water hose. Accessory Genie great to do business with too. Previous good service has made me a repeat customer. Advanced Rechargeable Clip-On Wireless Bluetooth V2.0 Stereo Headset Receiver for use with Apple iPhone, iPod touch and iPad - Includes Accessory Bag
Does what it is meant to do.
I like the clip design. It is intended to work kind of like a star-trek communicator.
Attach it to your collar, buttons are available, and speak towards it's microphone.
Problem: Audio is not as loud as my other use-your-own headphone device.
It is OK for a quiet room, but not with a lot of background noise.
Not good if you want to listen to loud music.
I use it mostly for spoken word podcasts. It is good for that in a quiet environment, like my office.
After a painful and terribly long searching for a headset to use on my phone, I finally came across this. First I tried the headset/bluetooths. But, they were uncomfortable, didn't have great sound quality, and their noise cancelling (when talking) was terrible and everybody complained. Since I travel all around the city and talk on the phone all day, noice cancelling was important. Comfortable was important, too.
So, I tried ALL of them, and returned ALL of them. Then I tried to diddy beats with controls. I liked how it felt and the controls, but they didn't work with my phone. The sound quality wasn't as good as my regular headphones, but I thought that'd be a tradeoff to have controls and a mic. So, I talked to my cellular provider and they thought it was wierd, so they had me warranty exchange my phone. Turns out, it wasn't just my phone, but all MyTouch 4g phones will not work with anything but a one-button headset. I figured that out after I tried six other headsets and returned them all!
I thought, wouldn't it be great if I could listen on my headphones, but just have a bluetooth mic-only for talking. Well, turns out, somebody already did that and better with THIS! Its PERFECT for ALL music lovers. If you are really a music junkie and audiophile, you know that most of the higher end headphones do NOT come with a mic and controls. With this slick little device, you can listen to any of your headphones, have the controls out handy, AND be wireless. I'm so glad that the headsets I bought didn't work with my phone so that I could come across this, because I didn't know it was an option!
The noise cancelling isn't as good as a jawbone or my Plantronics Voyager Pro, by any means, but it is adequate and actually than all the other bluetooth/headphone combos. However, my music is important to me, so people will just have to suffer with a little background noise at times in exchange. I carry my Plantronics with me just in case I need everything drowned out, but I almost never use it.
Anyways, I highly, highly recommend this product for music listeners with ALL phones. One of the greatest bluetooth inventions I've seen yet.
This product has an excellent design; let's start saying that the device charges in 30 minutes. I use it in an iphone 3gs and the device was paired inmediatelly. You can control volumen (up and down), play and pause, and next and previous song, controls that work with Ipod.
It has a button to answer calls.
the central control (the small circle where you can find ipod controls) is a little bit small that causes that you push the wrong button ocasionally
this bluetooth includes black stereo earbuds with around 15 inches lenght wich gives you an affordable distance between your ears and your shirt (sound quality of headset is not good); i replaced headset with the iphone headphones and sound is good.
This bluetooth is A2DP(stereo audio streaming) and AVRCP (remote music controls) compatible
This product exceeded my expectations. I have a Moto Droid which I listen to music on frequently but the headphone jack has become loose so I wanted to replace with a bluetooth device. I wanted to find something generic that would work with any headphones because I have not found many bluetooth headphones I like. I have several wired varieties I like and just wanted to make them bluetooth. Device works great for that. This alone would have made me happy but I hoped for (and got) play/pause/forward/backward/vol up/vol down controls as well as a decent built-in mic so I can receive calls with it. Clip spring is a little weak so you have to make sure you clip it to something secure. Overall functionality is great and I would recommend it to anyone. The construction is light plastic so I figure it will probably break soon, but for $25 I'll just buy another one.
This device works so well that my husband ordered another one to give to our daughter as a birthday gift! We use it for talking on the phone, using it with our iTouch, or in my daughters case with an iPad. We had no problems with the instructions, the device was up and running in minutes!
For those who have problems with the skip forwad and skip back buttons: That is an Ipod/Iphone issue. Apple disabled the forward and back skip functions on their devices. Send apple a comment asking them to enable forward and back buttons for bluetooth devices please because I want to be able to use that functionality too.
As far as devices other than Ipod/Iphone I haven't tried forward/back so...
I needed a receiver to connect bluetooth audio to my home stereo. There are several products specifically made for home stereo use, and all of them cost too much for me ($40-$150). This product is just what I was looking for. It works while the battery is charging so I can leave it plugged in and connected to my stereo. I currently use it only to play music fom my Ipod until I get a bluetoth adapter for my laptop. It works great so far no problems. - Avrcp - Bluetooth - Bluetooth Headset - Bluetooth Stereo Headphones'

Mini Fridge - mini fridge, defective
Had the 118 can refrig for 1 month. Couldn't handle the whistle from the compressor. Had to pay to send it back. They said they didn't hear a thing. It was returned damaged. Cost me $110 extra for all this and now I have to get rid of it. I have to turn it off in order to speak with my guests. I turn it off when I'm in the room. When I talked with the service people on the phone, they said if they exchanged it I would probably still have the same problem... Don't buy any edgestars EdgeStar 118 Can Beverage Refrigerator - Stainless Steel
you expect this thing to keep things cold like below 60 degrees at least
you won't get what you want, this cooler doesn't keep things COLD had to send it back which cost me a lot!!
Will Never buy another EDGESTAR product or recommend one to anyone
*******WARNING DON'T BUY********
This beverage cooler is NOT SILENT. The compressor was defective. It started making noise not long after I got it - but I didn't seem to mind...as time went on - the noise got louder and louder. Now, past the 90 day warranty, I have to turn the TV up everytime the refrig goes on - thats how loud it is. Dave S. from Customer Service does not stand by it's product given I purchased a DEFECTIVE COMPRESSOR. Same story as first review. I would have to pay $250 to return the refrig. Most appliance repair cost $70 to come look at it. Even thought parts are covered for a year, Edgestar will not send me a new compressor unless a licenced Technician makes an assessment AND Edgestar agrees with it. Then they will send the part to the technition to fix BUT WILL NOT PAY FOR LABOR!....So, you buy a crappy product and you're SOL and they couldn't care less. !! DO NOT BUY EDGESTAR.
Seen a couple other reviews on here sharing similar stories.
Add mine to the list.
Beautiful mini-fridge. Durable quality case/door. Everything appears nice, and I was really happy when I got it. I didn't notice the noise problem a few on here have mentioned. Mine was pretty quiet.
Holds a LOT of beers/pop/etc.
But, sure enough...1 month after my one year warranty expired, my unit died.
It's almost too expensive to fix...but too nice to throw out.
I have a repair company coming out tomorrow who said they'll fix it for $150. But to buy another new one, I'm looking at $300..
I guess I'll just chalk it up and think of it as a $400 fridge.
Shame the cooling parts break so much, cause otherwise..it really is a nice fridge.
But no matter how nice...the fact that it broke and I have to have it repaired, cause me to give it 1 star.
My EdgeStar BWC120ss was purchased 4/2010 and worked through the warranty period. Stopped working entirely in 8/2011
4 months after the warranty ran out. Cannot find anyone here in Fort Myers, Fl who will service it. Won't be buying any Edge Star products in the future.
Geno in Fort Myers, Fl.
"ZERO STARS!" I purchased this Edgestar 118 Can Beverage Refrigerator 14 months ago. What a mistake. Don't be fooled by it's good looks, glass door, etc.
It just stopped working. Dead....nothing! Besides that, it was always noisy when it worked. The warranty on this product is only for 90 days. One year on parts. So I called them, and they will not do anything. Even if it was within the one year you would have to send it to them, which will cost quite a bit in shipping costs. I called around to many appliance repair centers and none of them were even interested in looking at it for repair.
I realize that the unit is out of warranty, but shouldn't something that you pay good money for last more than a year??
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!
My husband bought this fridge to upgrade from a smaller mini fridge that was super cold,it even froze beer at many times. However with 3 guys plus in the house, we decided to buy a bigger fridge that was nice, The frige is durable, it has several racks, to get it like the picture you have to remove like one or two racks to get the beers to stand up but that is all good, It is cold, I am not sure about the other reviews but we put the settings on the coldest which is 7, and the beer is just as cold as the other one and it is full to the rim. I didn't count how many beers are in there but atleast 3 30 packs and some of another one (they drink to fast for me to count lol) So assuming it was 118, but the point of that was that even when full, the beers were super cold. I don't see anything negative besides the owners manual is very vague, there was a black peice that came with it but I couldn't figure out where it went. The shipping, I ordered it Wednesday night at 10pm and it arrive Friday via fedex, The package was super light as well. Good deal! Thanks!
The product is great for the price. There are not many small fridges without a freezer. Most coolers without icemakers are for wine and cool from 42 degrees to 55. This unit is rated from 36 degrees and warmer. I would prefer it a little cooler though. I prefer bottle beer rather than cans. The placement of the thermostat control might have been suited at a different level. The unit comes with 5 wire shelves. I am using only two. The first wire shelf will hold about 30 bottles vertically. Because of the thermostat placement I cannot stand bottles vertically even though the height is there. So on the second shelf I place cans vertically and bottles on their sides. The bottom shelf or floor will hold 18 12 ounce bottles vertically. This area is only half depth. The other shelves are full depth. I estimate I could probably hold 78 bottles had the thermostat been located differently and extra rails dad been provided at a different height. I have had it about 4 months and have no need to defrost. I did push one bottle to the back wall and it froze but did not burst the cap in the unit. I will be more careful now. - Defective - Bad - Mini Fridge - Junk'

I bought these socks because I thought they would be a little higher quality and cozy. After a few washings, they somehow got thicker and pilly. They took on a wierd wool-like texture. After about 3 washes, I couldnt stand the socks and they now sit in the bottom of my sock drawer. I dont know why this happened, but it happened to all of them, and they were washed in different loads and none of the other wash turned out "funny". They feel hard now and scratchy. I bought a different brand of socks since, and I am much happier with their durability. adidas Women's 6-Pack Low Cut Sock, White/Diva/Collegiate/Light, Blue/Black, Shoe Size 5-10
I wear a woman's size 10 shoe and sometimes it's hard to find socks that are big enough. I gave this a try and I have been back to buy more! They have just the right amount of stretch to them. The tops are breathable and the bottom is nicely cushioned.
I love these socks! They are really comfortable and warm. Plus, if your heel ever gets irritated from your shoes like mine do these socks will help since the sock reaches a little over your heel. Good socks!
I've been getting my socks at a retail store and have been constantly disappointed. These socks are more than I expected. They're soft, cozy, and they fit really well. Also, they stay in place and don't fall off like some other socks I've had. I highly recommend them!
These socks are very thick, do not breathe, and they make your feet sweat. I can't stand to wear them at all so in the trash they went along with my money. I bought GoldToe Powersox at Big Lots for $5 instead and they are great and obviously much cheaper.
I don't normally buy socks online but I had an Amazon gift certificate so I decided to try them out. These were great! They have held their shape and haven't become dingy. I've had them for about 2 years now.
Adidas Women's 6-Pack Low Cut Socks
I don't have a foot fetish, but socks still make a very useful and appreciated gift--even for the woman who has everything. Buy that girl 36 pair of socks and she'll never forget you (giggle). You can even get different styles and colors. Remember, they're useful, and you know how the Dryer Demon eats socks, so they are always needed. If you give a whole bunch of same-same socks, it confuses the Dryer Demon and when he munches one sock, you can just borrow one from another pair. - Womens'

Weights
The weights are nothing special. They're covered in a soft coating, color coded, and no-nonsense. They come shipped in a box appropriately sized for the items, which was another nice benefit. I viewed the rack as an unexpected bonus, and it turns out, it was a bonus that could have been left out. It's flimsy grey plastic that has to be assembled with small screws. The holes didn't exactly line up with the ones I got, and finding a screw driver (I have at least three) that fit the screws without stripping them was impossible. I gave up trying to assemble the rack, and leave the weights just tucked away on the floor. This could be just a bad rack, or could be my own ineptitude, but I think it's the former over the latter, as that I've had much successful experience assembling furniture in the past. Tone Fitness SDNHS-TN020 20-Pound Hourglass Shaped Dumbbell Set with Rack
I bought these dumbbell a few weeks ago and I have been very happy with the quality. I use them for walking and some light toning exercises. They have a nice grip and the weight sizes are perfect for me. I love the fun colors too. The set comes with a plastic rack that holds the dumbbells togehter nicely and keeps them off the floor. I will be buying some more sets to give away for X-mas!
Just got these today. Fast shipping, so that's a plus.
Weights: They're exactly what I was hoping for. The colours are vibrant and the material isn't annoying or abrasive. They are a great size and fit perfectly in my hands; the center width seems to be almost uniform, only slightly larger with each heavier piece.
Stand: I hate to be critical but yeah, the stand is crap. The holes for the screws are too small, so I'm having a hell of a time getting the screw to remain straight as it goes in. And this is coming from a woman that owns her own tool box and about a million types of screw heads. I'm still working at it but I'm sorely tempted to just say bugger the screws and use super glue :P
Thankfully I had read all the reviews and knew to buy this product for the weights and not to expect a quality stand. The weights are worth it, though. Just realize you're getting great weights with a crappy stand for your price and you won't be disappointed.
I didn't plan the alliteration... it just worked out that way... but it's true all the same. The little rack fits compactly in a corner (oh, there I go again) in my living room, they're really cute and colorful (oh no) and comfortable to hold. I bought them to use with my Jillian Michaels 30 day shred video after learning that eventually I'd be doing jumping jacks while holding hand weights. I had lots of individual weights but not a single matching pair. These are perfect. Highly recommended, and a great price.
Great Product for the Price. I use the weights every day. Great for toning the muscles. I actually use them in my cardio workout obstacle course. 30 minutes every day. Glad I bought them. A lot better than the squared off weights, and fits in the hand much better. And, cool colors ta boot.... You can't go wrong if you decide to buy a set.
This a no frills product, the weights being pretty much as advertised. The problem with it is that a) there are no assembly instructions for the rack b) the components of the rack are not labelled--I found out that the dowels are not interchangeable, meaning each dowel, and its ends, fits into a specific location. This is not mentioned anywhere since there are no assembly instructions. I read reviews prior to ordering the product and saw highly conflicting views. Some thought (more actually) that the rack was useless while others, a few, thought that the rack was nice and convenient. Keeping these in mind, I decided to play around with the dowels when they didn't seem to fit well and sure enough I figured things out and was able to assemble the rack quite well. A lot of people will not bother to figure out how to assemble it properly. Of course it is nothing special, in fact one can call it cheap, but it can be used. My suggestion is to enclose assembly instructions complete with dowel labels.
This set is not worth buying. The rack is poorly constructed plastic. The rack was the most disappointing; it is cheap and I got what I paid for. It was not worth sending back. It only holds this particular weights. The weights are adequate, but nothing special
Everything was exactly as described. The sender even ensured that the package had a waterproof covering, which was a really nice touch seeing that it was storming outside when my package was left on the doorstep. Also, I received the package with only 3 days, and that was with FREE shipping!
The weights are great an easy to hold and true to weight. I have no complaints at all!'

Black And Decker - handheld cordless vacuum, black and decker
I love, love this hand vac! It has good suction, it's easy to use, and best of all the brush and crevice tools are permently attached so there's no wondering where the toddler put the crevice tool that he was using as a sword the last time you saw it. I used it to vacuum out my mini van and it did a super job. Highly recommend! Black & Decker CHV1510 Dustbuster 15.6-Volt Cordless Cyclonic Hand Vac
We are very hard on our cordless hand vacs--they get carted all around our house by our energetic boys, and used to pick up everything from dirt to insects to sweepings from the floor. I'm impressed by the power of this vacuum, and have been pleased with how easy it is to keep clean. It comes apart into 3 pieces pretty easily--a nozzle area, the main cannister area, and the motorized portion. This makes it a snap to get things clean and to empty into the trash. I like the fact that the brush portion is attached to the front nozzle, so I don't have to look for it when my kids cart the vacuum away. It folds out and snaps into place, very handily and easily. The machine is not too light and not too heavy. The charging mechanism plugs into the handle, and there is a simple light to tell you it is charging. On the whole, I prefer this over a charger into which the machine slides, like a couple of my older vac's have. I'm considering purchasing a second one of these excellent machines.
An excessive compulsive clean-freak woman had to have had her hand in designing this vac. On a scale of 1-10 it's an 11! Thank you Black and Decker for coming out with the 1st cordless hand vac with the power of a corded one. It is so darn handy yet gets the job done. Need I say more? Yes, I do. The fact that all I have to do to get into my deep crevices or to use the brush is pull out the tools (instead of hunt for them in my closet) right on the nozzle is absolutely ingenious! Oh and that vented, hard plastic sleeve that goes over the washable filter - well, it's just clever. No more crud sticking to the filter to clog things up. t just slides right off!!!! You people at Black and Decker that designed this one deserve a huge raise! Finally, a GREAT hand vac! I love, love, love it! It's perfect. You thought of EVERYTHING. Well, almost everything. Now if you could just put it on automatic pilot to seek out the dust and crud ... Oh, well, you can't have everything. You get the idea.
I picked this up locally at Target because I wanted to be able to return it just in case it sucked at sucking.
After having this for a month now, for about $50, you really can't go wrong with this. We brought our newborn home a month ago and I wanted to have something around to be able to pick up the cat+dog fur tumbleweeds around the house and generally keep it a bit cleaner. Our full size vacuum weighs some 15+lbs and it's just too heavy and cumbersome to bust out for daily quick cleanups.
PROS:
+ Lightweight and easy to handle; well balanced
+ Powerful suction - the Dyson handhelds must be off the charts because this is already pretty strong as it is
+ Power toggle stays on
+ On-board attachments
+ Holds its charge very well - perfect for cleaning around the house and on the stairs - haven't had it lose charge on me mid-cleanup yet and it holds its charge for 2-3 passes for me. Charge time really isn't an issue since I don't plan on using it for extended periods of time in the first place.
CONS:
- Fur can be difficult to remove from the dustbin - it doesn't just come right out. I need to stick my fingers up there; yuck
- The built-in extension wand doesn't stay up with aggressive use. B&D could have easily solved this with a simple latch mechanism for a few cents more.
- Can't take other attachments, which wouldn't really be a problem except...
- Extension wand is too short. I'm average height and I need to bend down to use it. It wouldn't be so bad if it could accept attachments that would extend it to allow usage from a standing position but as it is, you'll probably spend a lot of time hunched over
It should be noted that we have hardwood throughout so the full sized vacuum rarely gets used now except for the area rugs. Overall, the house is slightly cleaner now simply due to more frequent vacuuming of the dog and cat fur rolling around the ground. A great value at about $50 and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it or recommend it. That said, there are definitely a few small fixes that the B&D engineers could add to make this a 5 star product.
==============================
UPDATE: Now that the price has dropped well below $50, I think this is a CAN'T MISS product. Seriously, it's one powerful handheld vacuum for not a whole lot of money; you literally CAN NOT go wrong with this purchase (unless you're old or have lower back problems I guess...). I've also figured out that it's a LOT easier to empty the bin by removing the motor part (you can unmount the motor or the wand; if you unmount the motor part and remove the filter, everything just slides right out of the collection bin). Giant, massive balls of cat and dog fur mostly just slides right out.
If you're worried about the charge time or the smallish collection bin, at this price? Buy two and you're good to go and you're still saving WAAAAY more than buying a Dyson!
Whatever shortcomings it has, they can be forgiven at this price point for the sheer convenience of having such a powerful little vacuum around. I've used it for several months and I can't imagine how we went so long lugging around the gigantic full-sized vacuum for daily cleanups!
I purchased this to replace a former Black and Decker cordless vacuum. I read the reviews extensively, and bought this model based on mostly positive reviews. However, my experience was quite different. The vacuum has a pull out crevice tool which is one of the reasons I purchased it. Unfortunately, Black and Decker has not thought out the design of this crevice tool, wherein it would actually remain extended when vacuuming small areas, such as you find in automobiles. Each time the tool retracted, making those tight spots unreachable. If Black and Decker can revise this crevice tool so that it locks in place, then it would be worth the price which is being charged. - Black And Decker - Hand Vacuum - Handheld Cordless Vacuum - Dustbuster'

Classical Music - hd595, music
I've owned:
Sony CDR-950 - $300
Sony MDR-F1 - $250
Grado Labs SR80 - $100
Sennheiser HD-595 - $180
I started to shop around for a new pair of headphones to use at work when my 6 year-old Sony MDR-F1's earpads completely wore out (it costs a whopping $100 to replace just the foam earpads!). I am a 3D computer artist, and I sit in front of the computer all day, so comfort was a major factor in my purchasing decision. Additionally, however, I am really into music, so sound quality is extremely important to me. I've always loved the sound of Grado Lab's 'phones, they are bright and lively, but they have never been very comfortable, especially for long listening sessions. Conversely, my Sony MDR-F1s were only decent from a sound perspective, but they were incredibly comfy.
I took a listen to a co-worker's HD-580's, because I'd never listened to or even tried on a pair of Sennheisers. To be honest, my impression of the 580's was not super positive. Sennheiser has called the sound quality of the 580's and 600's 'polite', but to me they seemed to have a slightly subdued sound, heavy on the bottom-end, but not really up-front like the Grado's that I like so much. I realized that the impedance of the 580's and the really expensive HD-600's was 200 OHMs which could've explained their subdued quality. I AM listening out of a headphone amplifier, but it's a tiny HeadRoom TotalAirhead which possibly didn't have enough power for the 580's. It was then that I started becoming really interested in the HD-595's because of their 50 OHM impedance.
I decided to take the plunge on the 595's last week and ordered them from Amazon for $181. After 2 days of listening to music from my PC via the HeadRoom TotalAirHead all I can say is -
"WOW, these are the best headphones I've ever heard".
The Sennheiser proclaimed 'polite' quality that I didn't like about the 580's is non-existant in the 595's. They are so lively, up-front and exciting to listen to. They have so much detail, and my little amp has no trouble whatsoever driving them. I DID have to push the bottom end of the EQ a bit to get the fullness that I like out of my music, but this wasn't a big deal. I have not tried them sans-amplifier yet, but it seems that the low impedance would make them ideal for portable players also.
Additionally, they are SO COMFORTABLE, if a bit hot-on-the-ears with the velour earcups. They look cool, they are super lightweight, and they come with this nifty headphone 'stand' that clamps to a table for hanging the 'phones when not in use.
I love listening to these things, I give them 5 out of 5 stars.

Boston, MA Sennheiser HD595 Dynamic High Grade Performance Premiere Headphones
Every time I put on these headphones, I am blown away by the immaculate sound that reaches my ears. These are, in my opinion, the best headphones out there. I'm sure hardcore audiophiles would disagree, but if you're a regular consumer, it doesn't get any better than this.
I had previously tried a pair of 580s, and was somewhat dissapointed with them. They were accurate, but they weren't aggressive enough for my taste - they sounded somewhat distant and weak. Since I wasn't about to spend $150 for a pair of headphones that I wasn't totally satisfied with, I decided to invest that extra $50 and try the 595s. Fortunately, I was not disappointed. The 595s solve the 580's problem by angling the drivers so that they are literally right next to your ear, and the result is a much more immediate, much fuller bodied sound.
The 595s are superb with any type of music. The open, but immediate sound stage is great for rock music (you really feel like you're sitting with the band and they're playing around you), and the clarity and precision is great for jazz and classical. I was also surprised how good my electronica sounded - every detail is expressed with crystal clear precision, and the bass is ample but precise and not overbearing, resulting in a great immersive experience. The lows, mids, and highs are all perfectly balanced (at least to my untrained ear), and overall the sound is just unbelievably natural.
Besides sounding great, the 595s are ridiculously comfortable. Because they surround the ears and don't put pressure on them, I have no problem wearing these headphones for 6-7 hours at a time without discomfort or soreness.
Please note that in order to experience all the 595s have to offer, you really need a headphone amp. They sound good unamped, but the 595s really come alive with a good amp. Also, since the 595s have a 1/4" plug instead of a 1/8" mini plug, I would recommend getting the Grado 1/4"-1/8" adapter instead of using the one they give you, as it will put too much strain on the headphone jacks of your equipment.
I wholeheartedly recommend the 595s. For the price, their sound quality and comfort simply cannot be beat.
I've been waiting a long time to write this review. See my review of the Senn 590s.
I purchased the 590s earlier this year and was relatively pleased. Then I invested 100 bucks in an A/V receiver and plugged them into that, and... WOW, what a difference an amp makes! All of a sudden I had a new-found love for my 590s. With a portable device, the 590s don't have a huge amount of volume. An amp solves that. Also, the limited equalizer functions on an iPod or winamp don't do justice to this caliber of headphones. I'm in love with my 590s, and I will never part with them.
A few weeks ago I started reading more about the 595s and how they were supposed to be brighter and clearer than anything else. If you're like me, you want to read all of the reviews before you buy a new set of headphones. For < $150, the 595s are a steal. I also recently bought a pair of Shure in-ear heaphones for about the same price. Because I spend most of my time listening to music on the go, I figured it was a worthy investment, but when you consider the fact that you could get some big Sennheisers for the same price, they seem like a total waste of money. It really depends on how much at-home listening you do.
The 595s are everything they promise to be. In a strange and almost surreal way, they sound exactly as I imagined they would. Like a blind man in his first moment of sight, I knew when I put them on that they were exactly what I needed. These are like the 590s on steroids, or, I should say "The 590s are to the 595s as whispering is to screaming". But it's not just volume, it's also brightness. The 590s are like little fluffy clouds, gently massaging your ears with sweet music, and they really make it sound like you're listening in a wide open space, not headphones. The 595s blast crystal clear music to the nucleus of your mental space. You're definitely conscious that you have headphones on, but they achieve the "open space" phenomenon at the same time. The "rows back in a concert" analogy is also surprisingly fitting. The 590s put you a few rows back, the 595s put your ear right up next to the guitar. The one major downside to the 595s is that they're almost too intense. I've found that I can only listen to them, at least at a reasonable volume, for about an hour or two before I just can't take it any more. A big upside to the 595s though is that they sound better with portable devices sans an amplifier. The 590s have a slight advantage in comfort because they're lighter, but Sennheiser has clearly designed both of these models with comfort in mind.
So, I will keep both. If I had to choose between the 590s and the 595s, I would choose the 595s.
If this is you're considering getting your first set of Sennheisers... DO IT. I promise, you won't be disappointed. - Hd595 - Sennheiser - Music - Audiophile'

Sandisk E200 Charger - sandisk, sansa
The Sansa USB hotsync and charger cable works perfectly with my Fuze. Sync and charge functionality equals the factory supplied cable. Bought this one for my travel bag. Highly recommended - don't let the rather low price scare you; it works well and is well made. 2.0 USB Data Hotsync and Charging Cable For Sandisk Sansa e200, e250, e260, e...
this did not have the sansa name on it like the picture indicated. It did fit ok, But the e250 player got very hot after using this charger. Broke down and ordered the original equipment from Sandisk. No longer gets hot.
the cord itself was in good condition and it did charge my sandisk but for some reason it was not syncing all the time .. It could be my device but not sure..overall the chord did charge but had some trouble with syncing the device when I wanted to...
My son lost his charging/sync cable, so I decided to order this one [...]The cable that I received is white like an Apple cable not black as advertised and when hooked up it charges for about five seconds and then stops. I do not recommend this product to anyone who is trying to hook up a Sansa e250. THANKS FOR NOTHING "ULTIMATE WEB SALES"
I lost my chord and needed an inexpensive replacement until mine showed up. This works as good as the original at a great price. I have been using it on a regular basis and have had no issues whatsoever.
This product is not worth it. The only reason I gave it one star is because Amazon prompted me to do so. It should be ZERO star. I ordered two cables, and upon arrival, neither worked. The seller shipped me two additional cables free of charge that did not work either. What's with that? - Sandisk E200 Charger - Sandisk - Mp3 Accessories - Sansa'

Tommy And Tuppence - mystery, tommy and tuppence
"The Man in the Brown Suit" is a drab title for Ms. Christie's most romantic novel. It is interesting to see what type of girl (Ann Beddelfield) is Dame Agatha's ideal: well born, raised by her academic father but not devoted to him, beautiful and aware of it, uses her many charms to get her way, intelligent but wildly impractical, idealistic, adventurous and believes in that knight in shining armor will come and carry her away.Ann is deeply afraid she will end up in a rut forever as an underpaid secretary only to marry a ho-hum businessman and while away her life. Her father's meager inheritance, 87 pounds, even in 1924 money, will not see her far. She impulsively buys a ticket to South Africa that costs exactly 87 pounds, hoping for adventure. The subsequent story exceeds her wildest dreams with mysterious deaths, kidnapping, diamonds and Russian ballet dancers.Miss Christie has some excellent descriptive scenes of South Africa. It is clear the author is in love with the landscape, the mystery and the vivid life of the area. I never quite got in the spirit of the "adventure," as I worried incessantly (seeing as Ann would not) over what she was going to use for money once she stepped off the boat. The book does not contain a master sleuth, so it is not a case of one grand mystery, but a series of small mysteries solved as you go. There were so many subplots, I lost all sight of the main purpose, but was agreeable if confused."The Man in the Brown Suit" is a departure for Christie, one I'm glad she did not make too often. However, it is a good natured, high-spirited romp, and I am sure she had a grand time writing it. 3-1/2 stars.-sweetmolly- Amazon Reviewer The Man in the Brown Suit
This was one of Christie's earlier novels, but one of her most entertaining. It's pure brain candy, full of wit and adventure, with an appealing, intelligent heroine of the kind found in P.G. Wodehouse books of this period, and, later on, in the mysteries of Elizabeth Peters. Anne makes some nice points about the difficulties of the usual cinematic methods of freeing oneself when bound and dumped in a cellar. She also eats an extraordinary number of ice-cream sodas and collects native art to interesting effect. Oh, yes, and there are some murders and stolen diamonds involved. An advantage to the light tone, aside from its sheer entertainment value, is that it makes the reader a little more forgiving of Christie's stretches of credibility, which especially in some of her middle period novels can be a bit much. Not that I don't love her novels. But in some there is an almost palpable sense one kind of talent trying to be another...in "Endless Night", for example, she's rather clumsily dealing with the kind of psychological issues that writers like Thomas Harris would take up.This book, however, is Christie at her brightest and most appealing, and shows the facility with plot which would develop into one of the greatest gifts for story-construction that English literature has ever known.
Anne Beddingfield has lived all her life in a small village with her father, an anthropologist who is interested only in Paeleolithic Man. Anne longs for romance and adventure, and rather envies their maid, who has 'walked out' with a variety of young men. Then Anne's father dies suddenly, and she gets a chance at adventure when she witnesses the accidental death of a man at a London tube station. She has reason to beleive that this death is connected to the murder of a woman at a house in Marlow, but the police aren't interested in her theories, so she persuades a newspaper proprietor to take an interest. Anne takes passage on a ship bound for South Africa, believeing the answer to the mystery is to be found on the ship. There are a number of interesting people on board, charming Mrs Blair, enigmatic Colonel Race, the creepy clergyman Chichester, and eccentric and delightful Sir Eustace Pedler. Some or all of them may be up to no good. A lot of exciting things happen to Anne on the voyage, not the least exciting is when a handsome wounded stranger takes refuge in her cabin. Her adventures continue when they get to South Africa, and she finds herself with more excitement than she had ever dreamt of. Anne is a delightful heroine, adventurous and resourceful and humorous (and despite what a previous reviwer says, not in the least like tiresome, pompous Amelia Peabody). This book has an exciting plot, interesting characters, adventure, romance and humour, what more could you want? ( Actually, again disagreeing with a previous reviewer, I thought the film of this story, allowing for the fact that it was updated by sixty years, stuck reasonably closely to the original story).
I suppose like characters in PG Wodehouse, many educated English girls yearn to break free from the bindings of the Victorian society as the world appeared to be open to them, with past explorers having blazed the trails and the availability of modern transportation such as steamers and railroads to take them beyond the horizons where thousands had gone before. Oh, and of course the proliferation of trashy adventure thrillers also helped spark off their imagination; few glamourous adventure heroines suffered from sea-sickness or the availability of dashing boyfriends always there for them. When Anne, an orphaned English young lady, witnessed a death in the London tube, she found herself drawn into a real adventure without any clues to what she was really going after. All she had were vague clues that she had seen the "man in the brown suit", who was known to be present at two apparently unrelated deaths, one being the supposed accident at the tube, another was a strangled woman in the house belonging to an English MP Sir Eustace Pedler.Finding herself on board a cruise to South Africa, Anne found the web of intrigue expanded to include several more persona dramatis; the events seemed to surround these people whom all appear to be totally legitimate.Slowly, she learned that the affair was somehow related to one of the most daring diamond theft that occurred years ago, to a mysterious criminal organisation led by a shadowy mastermind known only as the Colonel, and with the luck of the British, she only got a couple of attempts on her life. Of course, just to make things a little bit more interesting, she found herself drawn to a man who personally declared he would strangle women with his bare hands.Although the background of South Africa had certain significance to the plot, like the attitudes of most colonials of the time, the native colour and people were relegated far to the background. - British Mysteries - Mystery - Tommy And Tuppence - Christie'

Benchtop Drill Presses
This is a cursory review for the Rockwell RK7032 10 inch Drill Press. I will not waste time with specifications, etc.
This product was purchased after I had returned a similar unit with similar features to a local retail source. Amazon had as yet no reviews posted for the Rockwell press but other reviews on the web seemed to indicate that I should try again. The RK7032 is a superior machine. The low price should not dissuade you from considering getting one for yourself. You will discover that the unit runs smoothly, quietly without noticeable vibration. I am pleased that the press comes with a chuck removal wedge to permit easy chuck replacement. I am really pleased that this drill press has simple, external belt tension adjustment. This press has no provision for a laser drill guide like so many other units but don't worry; Those things don't work and you're better off without a laser on your drill press.
Time will tell how this press holds up but I've used enough shop machines to presume that I won't have to replace it any time soon. The manufacturer has a two year waranty which gives some comfort.
One final comment....I kept the box after I bought the first press in case there was something wrong and I had to return the unit. I'm glad I did.
The box for my new Rockwell press is already in the trash. I'm keeping this one. Rockwell RK7032 10-Inch Drill press
Great drill press at a great price. It's been used many times since we received it and not one problem. It does a great job. Oh, you might want to wear gloves when you assemble it because it's got quite a bit of grease on the shaft.'
