8 Gig Usb Flash Drive - 8 gig usb flash drive, flash drive

I bought this for my wife and grandson 5 months ago, I waited to actually give it a fair test period. It has not not given either of them an ounce of problem. It is very reliable and data transfer speed is quick. My wife had a PNY, and it was OK, but it does not compare to the Kingston.

The only drawback is the hole in the end, it is very tiny. I had to purchase a very thin key ring to put on it so they could attach a strap to it. Kingston Digital 8 GB USB 2.0 Hi-speed Datatraveler Flash Drive DT101G2/8GBZ, Red

This Kingston flash drive is similar to the one I owned previously and loved so much. I use a mac and for some reason I'm just not happy with all flash drives, but kingston are very compatible. The red color is very nice, and so is the blue! This particular model of the flash drive has a loop around cap, which really loops a whole 360 degrees, so you'll never lose your caps again (like me). The price on amazon is great, especially if you get it with free shipping :-)

I have a collection of USB thumb drives and use them for a wide range of activities. I transport files, use them as a portable work environment, install portable apps, encrypt them with passwords, transport files from one network to another, use them to boot, ReadyBoost, and run an entire OS - things most consumers will never likely care about.

Because I use them so often, it's hard to get excited over a new USB drive unless it has something new or innovative about the design. I'm not excited about this drive. I had an immediate positive reaction to a USB drive with a similar design concept: a small footprint drive with a swinging metal shield. But where the PNY Micro Swivel Attache perfected the swivel design in a tiny 4GB drive, and the HP v115w Flash Drive did the same in a 16GB model, the Datatraveler made a larger, less elegant cover that can hardly be given that name.

It is a good drive, in that it's an excellent price and performs well. There is an activity light that flashes as the drive is being accessed. I don't use the Kingston app, but instead installed PortableApps on it, which works like a charm. But the cover is about useless, providing little if any protection if you were to place the drive in a briefcase, backpack, pocket or drawer. It's loose and swings freely, never staying in place and offering virtually no protection. If you plug this thing in, and hardly ever remove it, except to plug it right in to another computer, then this is probably not going to trouble you. If you wear your USB on a lanyard, it will also not be too much of an issue, since the lanyard will attach at the cap, and gravity will keep it in place.

The price is excellent, but if you need a more rugged drive that travels well, get one that has a better fitting cover design.

I use thumb drives for various reasons from a portable OS, OS and System tools recovery, and performance boosters. I can say this drive gives you bang for you buck.

I know price has a a lot to do with the Class speed category of the memory used in thumb drives. And for the price I paid (just over $10), I cannot complain. The speed is decent, has a nifty Kingston app on it that allows you to install other popular free apps and games right to it (something I wasn't aware of from Kingston). 8gig for just over $10, you can't go wrong with this purchase. I normally don't rate things 5star, but it also has a built in activity light which is a bonus, so it gets a 5.

The Kingston Digital 8 GB USB 2.0 Hi-speed Datatraveler Glash Drive DT101G2/8GBZ functions very well. The only problem I encountered was to get the driver installed on my computer. I still use Windows Vista. I had to go to the Kingston web site and download the driver. However, with tech support, I discovered I had to unplug my Canon Printer to allow the download to be successful. Kingston tech support, by the way, was the best I have encountered from any other tech support conversation. Kudos to Kingston tech support. I would certainly buy another Kingston product.

I just tried out this Kingston 8 gb USB drive with a couple of my computers. I copied my Amazon MP3 folder from my Mac Mini to this drive using the port on my monitor, which is an older USB 1.0 port. It took almost 8 minutes to transfer 3.64 GB of mp3 files to the drive.

Next, I plugged the drive into my Macbook Pro, which has USB 2.0 ports. It took 3 min 10 sec to transfer the files into my music folder.

I did copy the urdrive software into a folder on my Mac and then deleted from the USB drive before doing the speed tests. I don't know that I'll be using it and it takes up quite a bit of space.

This is a wonderful little USB Flash Drive. The size is perfect for me, as it is small enough to fit in almost all pockets, yet not too small as to be lost easily. My favorite part is the cap design. With a lot of other similar drives, the cap is easily lost or becomes loose and doesn't stay on correctly. The design of this drive's cap removes these complications entirely. Buyers remember that, with the formatting of almost all memory upgrades, the available space is not exactly 8 GB. In this case it is approx 7.5 GB, yet still a wonderful value.

This works fine as a traditional USB drive to transfer and store files. File transfer is speedy. The attached cap is convenient, even if the hole in the cap is a little small. The price is good compared to other USB sticks with similar capacity. I subtracted one star because the stick does not have a full 8 GB capacity. It looks like 7.20 GB (or 7,735,574,528 bytes) with the included software removed. The stick should be advertised as providing "approximately" or "nearly" 8 GB. On the other hand, through urDrive you can sign up for 2 GB free secure online storage for backup. I subtracted another star because the included urDrive software seemed a little hinky to me. There are a few, short instructional/promotional videos on Kingston's urDrive web page, but the videos did not contain much information on how to actually use the software in my opinion. When I launched urDrive, I didn't think the interface was very stable, attractive or useful for transferring files to the USB, although you could use it to organize files once they are on the drive. Other features, like the built in music player and slideshow, are not features I really need or anticipate using. Like another reviewer, I moved the software off the USB to recover a little more space for storing files. In short, it works fine as a regular USB, but it didn't quite deliver on the capacity or extras. - 8 Gig Usb Flash Drive - Flash Drive - Thumb Drive - Kingston Technology'

Plantar Fasciitis - motion-control running shoes

When I was looking for shoes, I had some recommendations from my Physical Therapist. She suggested either New Balance or Brooks. I needed a fairly straight shoe since I over-pronate and needed a built up heel area with extra support. The shoe is absolutely perfect for me. Everything as stated above with extra height in the toe box. The length and width were exactly what I normally wear in a shoe. The shoes are incredibly comfortable and provide stability to bad knees. Great for a runner to protect against the pounding or for non-runners with specific shoe requirements...and the lollipop color wasn't as bad as it sounded. New Balance Women's WR1123 Running Shoe,White/Lolipop,9 B

I have several pair of New Balance sneakers in different styles, 992, 881, 882, 644, 621 and these. While I like all of them, this pair is the star of the crowd. They are very comfortable and they have great cushioning. I think it would be impossible for me to sprain an ankle while wearing them. They are worth every penny of their price.

I am overweight and was looking for a shoe that I could walk in while on the treadmill. I have always been active, my weight has yo-yo'd, and I've tried every workout equipment available. No show has ever compared to this comfort wise. I have always worn Nike's and was wearing Nike 360's and these shoes blow them out of the water. I no longer focus on how much my feet hurt while working out and my blisters are disappearing slowly but surely. These shoes aren't cute as they look like clown shoes but who cares when comfort is involved. Don't buy these in the store, you can get them much cheaper here and online.

These New Balances are just what I needed for my plantar faciatis. I went for a walk and wore them at work for three days straight. They are lighweight and supportive. A little pricey, but worth every penny. Make sure you order a half size up, they run small and I had to send my first pair back.

I have plantar fasciitis and a bone spur. My podiatrist recommended this shoe specifically. It is a very comfortable shoe without an orthotic and even more comfortable with it. I can walk for hours with no heel pain. The mesh upper keeps my feet cool and the lilac and dark purple (lollipop) accents are very nice.

Was told these run a little small, but I should have stayed with my normal size since they're wide. The shoes are very stable, great for planar faciitis and people needing more heel cushioning. Legs were sore the first few days just because I was using my muscles differently. I'm still getting used to them. I'm a nurse, on my feet for many hours at a time and these are just what I needed.

I was suffering daily from Plantar-Fasciitis. I work in a whare house enviroment. The concrete was killing my feet, ankles and knees. I had avoided buys these shoes because of price, I also thought they were "medical" looking. I fianlly couldnt handle the pain any longer and bought these shoes. They are great. Over time the Plantar-Fasciitis has been healing. I feel much better, and it was worth wearing ugly shoes to work, so I could feel better and stop limping all over. I highly recomend them to anyone who wants to combat foot pain. they are ugly, but worth it! they feel awsome, and make feet happy.

Thirteen months ago I was beginning to suffer with plantar fasciitis to the point where I couldn't walk more than ten to fifteen minutes on a treadmill before I had to switch to a stationary bike. I finally visited my local specialty shoe store and after testing my feet and watching my stride they recommended these shoes. Within a month of wearing these I had almost no foot pain and I began training for a half marathon last fall. I'm happy to say I finished the Austin half marathon two weeks ago with no foot pain! These shoes are incredible! And be sure to pair these with good socks. I love Thorlo's walking socks.

I wore New Balance 1122 for many years and was very happy with them. When they replaced that shoe with the 1123, I bought them (in the same size), even though they didn't feel good in the store. (The next smaller size was way too small.) I thought I would get used to them, but... no. I always knew when it was time to switch shoes when my knees starting hurting, but this time, the knee pain has remained and even gotten worse. The toe box on the 1122 fit me perfectly, but these are too wide, and the front is too long and bends awkwardly over the toes. The tongue is too short to grab hold of without untying the shoe, and it keeps slipping down and to the side. The shoelaces are way too short - can't be double knotted and come undone about every half mile. I never got the shoes wet, but just the sweat from my feet made the purple run, so now I have pink shoelaces and pink tongues to go with the gaudy purple. I can't believe I wasted $150 on these shoes!! - Motion-control Running Shoes'

Power Tool Accessories - power tool accessories, hobby

This is an excellent accessory for the already-versatile rotary tool. The trick to its use is to recognize the inherent limitation of all rotary tools.

They are high-speed, low-torque tools. The work is done in the same way that a dentist's drill works: Very light pressure lets the bit in effect shave away the material. As the manual says, you need to adjust the tool so the bit is very close to the workpiece, then slowly lower the bit into it.

This means you can't use the Dremel drill press the same way you would use a full-size drill press, where you can bear down on the lever and force the bit to dig into the work. If you try to use it that way, you'll get the "slop" that some other reviewers mention.

When it's used correctly-- and the manual makes it very clear how to do so-- this is a very good accessory to have. Dremel 220-01 Rotary Tool Work Station

This press is great for all those little odd jobs. As a hobbyist, I use this item often. The slop others mentioned in other reviews can easily be removed by adjusting the 4 set screws to snug things up and tightening the other nuts and bolts in the assembly. Any press will flex if its forced beyond its intended limits. When used as intended. This press does everything it claims and more. The fact it can be adjusted to work as a bench grinder only adds to it value. When combined with a cross-slide mini vise. It will also work as a mini bridgeport for light machining. I would have given it a 5 star rating. But because I had to take the whole thing apart and reassemble it the way it should have been done at the factory. I gave it a 4. All in all, its still a great addition for anyone that owns a Dremel.

Dremels' work station for their rotary tool is a great little station. You are able to bolt it onto your workbench if you prefer. Some folks don't think you need to but I like to work with different jigs and such and need a very stable base, so I bolt mine. And along that line of thinking is the fact that you can tilt the tool anywhere from 15° to 90° which will help you when you want to turn it into a sanding and polishing tool for more intricate work.

It has a great little tool "caddy" which they like to call the "Crows nest" that you can store some of your more favorite bits. Or the way I use it is to place the bits and collets I'm going to use for whatever project that I'm working on at the time because I put all my bits and things up when done and cover the station to prevent dust build up.

The telescoping tool stand holds the tool when you are using the FlexShaft(tm). The base of the station has both metric and standard symbols as does the depth gauge.

All in all it's a great station for the rotary tool. But, the one little drawback that I've found in my working with it is that with other stations like this one, the others usually have a strap to clamp the upper portion of the tool securely to the tool stand. I find this helpful when drilling fine holes into decorative stones that I tumble and polish. Without that strap, using the the fine diamond drill bits will sometimes try to "travel" across the stone which will cause scratch marks. But, the great feel that the handle gives you allows me to prevent that by very delicately bringing the bit down to the stone in minute strokes until the bit has the hole started and then it's drilling as usual when using a fine diamond drill bit. That's why I give this station a 4 out of 5. Really I'd like to give it a 4½ stars but that's not one of the choices! Also the great deal I got buying this tool through Amazon.com beats all other sites and stores. So guys, show the wife the tool, what can be done with it and the low price, and you'll be getting yours in the mail soon!

This tool works quite well for me as a light duty drill press in my activities as a silversmith. While I rarely drill through any thing much heavier than 24 gage [B&S] sterling silver with a bit any larger than 1/16", it works fine if you don't "hog it" and allow the bit to do the work. I have also used a #61 bit with equal success while drilling starter holes for pierced work, usually within close quarters where accuracy is important. In either case, ONE DOES HAVE TO FEED SLOWLY in order to avoid deflection in the bit itself. I have occassionaly used it for light duty grinding [of stones] although that is the usual domain of my Foredom flexible shaft tool.

I have a Delta drill press for woodworking. Each machine fills its own niche and does a good job in their respective roles. Just don't confuse their roles. I would recommend the Dremel for its intended design purpose. It would work great in most any reasonable hobby use such as model aircraft and/or model railroad construction, both of which I have enjoyed.

And, I am a retired mechanical and structural engineer that is pretty picky about his tools.

I purchased the 220-01 Workstation planning to use it as a drill press. After taking it out of the box, and assembling it per the instructions, I realized that it is horribly flexible, making it impossible to drill holes with ANY accuracy. I'm not that picky either -- I know that a $50 drill press/attachment will have its limitations, but even with the 1/8th inch drill bit, attempting to make a hole is impossible.

Trying to make a hole yields a disfigured slot. The tool holder will flex in one direction when you push down, and flex in the other direction when you pull back up. You end up with a disfigued slot that is of no use. It ruined a piece I was trying to work on.

The dremel tool itself is held tight ... It's the flimsy plastic tool holder that seems to have a lot of slop internally.

To make matters worse, the clamp that will let you rotate the tool holder 90 degrees (to use the dremel as a stationary sander, etc.) never locks tight, so if you aren't careful, the tool holder itself can rotate counter-clockwise.

This "workstation" is a waste of money if you plan to use it as a drill press, or want any sort of accuracy at all. - Crafts - Tools - Hobby - Power Tool Accessories'

Iphone Headset - headphones, ipod accessories

I ordered this Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic a few days ago because of the very low price, and because of Amazon's reputation as a trusted retailer. This order was fulfilled by a third part retailer - The OEM Shop.

The Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic arrived a few days after I placed my order. The Apple packaging and instructions were not included in the manila envelope from The OEM Shop. There was also no printed receipt included within the manila envelope. The only thin that was included in the manila envelope from The OEM Shop was the Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic.

When I tried to use the Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic, the play/pause button did not function properly. And, when the mic was used in the recording of audio and video, there was static in both recordings. Although the price for this item was low, it was not woth it because the product does not work as it should.

Amazon's description for this item is "Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic (NEWEST VERSION) Retail Packaging] by Apple." The item that I received is not as Apple would sell it. And Amazon should not sell it like this either, even if it is through a third party retailer. I made this purchase because of Amazon's reputation as a trustworthy retailer.

If you're interested in the Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic, I recommend buying it from Apple. If Amazon wants to be known as a reputable retailer, they should discontinue their partnerships with dishonest third party retailers like The OEM Shop. Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic (NEWEST VERSION)[Retail Packaging]

I initially bought these because I really wanted a microphone for my iPod touch, and the remote seemed like an added bonus. However, they arrived with the remote split in half. It snapped back together fine, and I ignored it despite the fact that I had to tape it together (it still worked). But within a few weeks, the cord cover ripped free of the plug, leaving exposed wiring. They continued to work fine, good audio quality, etc, until a month or so ago when the left earphone stopped working. Now I can only listen in the right ear or I have to stretch and bend the cord in odd angles to make the left earbud work. Definitely not worth the price. All I have to say is either they are a really bad knock-off or Apple has gotten cheap.

NOTE! BUY FROM AMAZON! DO NOT BUY FROM THIRD PARTY SELLERS!

I trust Amazon. Though the headphones are more expensive if you buy from them, they are genuinely Apple. The sound quality could use some improvement. The basses are weak and the highs aren't the clearest. However, they work pretty well as casual use headphones and terribly as exercise headphones. Sweat easily gets in the remote and causes it to stop functioning. Use with caution when exercising. Using the remote is dead simple. Volume up, volume down, and center button. Click center once for play/pause music, twice to skip forward, three times to go back, and hold for voice control [if on newer iPhones (will it work for iPod touches?)]. It is very convenient for answering/making calls. The microphone yields good quality talking and listening is clear. The connector part of the microphone has changed from weak rubber to a hard plastic. However, the cord can still easily be pulled out.

I would say these are decent headphones. They're good for calls and some music listening. Just be sure to buy it from Amazon and not a someone selling their product in the Marketplace.

Quick Note: If the product is not genuinely Apple, then don't rate the headphones. The bad reviews due to fake headphones are creating an incorrect rating. Instead, rate the seller lowly, ask for a refund, and buy the headphones from your Apple store, Target, Best Buy, Amazon (with Amazon.com as the seller), etc.

Hi,

These head phones stink. I have never seen a product from Apple this bad. Are they even Apple; I don't think so. Don't buy these head phones. To be smart, spend the extra 15 bucks and buy it from Apple.com.

I bought these from the Apple Store here in town after the pair of phones that came with my ipod (touch) broke, the sound quality seemed alright but not great. The problem with them however was just overall shoddy construction, the phones barely held together and ultimately the jack snapped off after less than two months of ownership after being dropped about a foot and a half onto carpet. - Ipod Accessories - Earbuds - Headphones - Earphones'

Wireless Network Adapter - signal booster, wireless network adapter

I'm using this dongle/antenna to connect my media server on the ground floor of my house to a wireless router, which is on the second floor and in the opposite corner of the house. I've used several laptops in this room with many different wireless adapters, as well as a previous media server with built-in wifi card, and all generally get about 2-3 bars (out of 5) of signal in this location.

When I use this product in the same room, and even with one of the same laptops, I get 5 bars of signal, and the utility app says the connection ranges from 98-100% quality! I've streamed all kinds of video content with this new dongle, including HD, and it is amazing how well it works, comparable to plugging directly into the router via ethernet. It also pulls in routers from all the neighbors' houses, which were previously invisible, so I guess we could have free broadband if we really wanted it. The reception is way better than I dared hope for, and I'd buy this product again in a second if I needed another wifi connection for some reason.

In addition, I was surprised at how easily I was able to install the driver, even on Vista. . . when was the last time that happened? I hadn't heard of this company, and I was hesitant to buy from some small company because I've experienced compatibility problems before with obscure drivers working with XP, Vista, even Mac OS. Not this time, I was up and running in a couple of minutes.

One note of caution: the high gain antenna is very long (about a foot) and about a half-inch thick, so it would be cumbersome if you're using it with a laptop or expect it to be portable or unobtrusive. This is not an issue for me, and I guess the size is what makes it so powerful, so it's not a problem with the product, just something to consider in advance.

*** UPDATE 7/15/10 ***

I had some trouble getting this to work when I installed it with a new Windows 7 machine. The driver disk that came with it only goes up to Vista, so I had to download a current version from the Alfa Network site ([...].). Once I installed the new driver, it worked as well as reviewed above. The tricky part was that Win7 recognized the device and the wireless network icon in the taskbar, networking control panel, etc. all said that it was working, even though it actually wasn't. Wish I hadn't been fooled by that, so I'm posting the above link to make it easier for the next guy (or gal). 1000mW 1W 802.11g/n High Gain USB Wireless G / N Long-Rang WiFi Network Adapter - Dongle With Original Alfa 5dBi and 9dBi Rubber Antenna *Strongest on the Market*

Without an antenna, the adapter picks up a better signal than the internal wifi on this laptop.

With the small antenna, I'm getting 100% reception quality from anywhere inside and in the immediate vicinity of a 2-story house (with an 802.11G router in the basement).

And with the large antenna, it's picking up the neighbor's wireless--who's all the way across the valley--from INSIDE the house...

In other words, I'm very happy with this ... and maybe a bit concerned for my health ...

This product is amazing! I'm using this wifi adapter with the 9dBi antenna on my Asus eee 1000HA and I do find more networks in range and other networks that were already existing have 2 or 3 more bars now. Everything is going faster and as far as I have noticed battery life is not negatively affected. The only thing I don't like is that the 9dBi antenna is quite heavy for the usb port so I prefer to use it with a 6 inch USB extension cable like this one [...] but other than that absolutely no other problems.

Totally recommended.

Good item. I gave it 4 stars because the dongle itself feels somewhat fragile and large to leave attached directly to USB port.

I solved this by also ordering a 6' usb cable extender.

USB 2.0 Extension Cable Type A Male to Type A Female 6 ft, Black

This allows me to move the dongle/antenna for maximum signal strength.

Dongle w/9dBI antenna is top heavy so be aware you'll have to lean it against something. Not an issue for me. Orginally received wrong 9dBI antenna (connecter was incorrect) but both ALFA & DB ROTH customer service were excellent and they sent me the correct one and let me keep the other.

2 antennas and the dongle included with cd. I did not use the cd for installation due to warnings in other reviews. Downloaded driver from ALFA site and it worked perfectly.

For those with Asus Eee 1005HAB's which appear to have major problems with onboard WIFI receipt strength, this is a great fix. Picks up amazing amount of WIFI broadcasts i could not see even with my other machines that had no problems.

Just disable the onboard WIFI and plug this in, my Windows XP picked it right up and it worked w/o any hassle.

This antenna is the best one I've owned. I have two more from NETGEAR, but they don't work with windows7- 32/64 bit. This antenna though is awesome, it works with windows7 -32/64 bit. This antenna is the best you can find on the market. Very strong and wide range. This is what you need. I hope this review is helpful guys. I am an independent user that doesn't serve to any company what so ever. Thank you

It works as advertised.. I WAS using this in my home to help boost local wifi signals, on average it would increase the low signals from 2 to 4 bars, increasing download speeds from 150-300 kb/s to a whopping 400-700 kb/s depending on the weather condition outside and number of people on the local wifi signals.... The problem with this product is the weight of the antenna that is attached to the USB portion... It is nearly impossible to have the antenna stand up straight... Within 2 weeks because of the antenna constantly having to be re adjusted from falling, the metal insides of the USB that allow the USB to connect to your laptop broke... It would just no longer detect the adapter when I plugged it in... Now the package did come with a smaller antenna which I haven't tested yet.. But the USB should have been build to where it could hold more weight while plugged in... Because of this I feel like I threw away money... Great while it lasted but its a short lived product if you don't CAREFULLY watch to make sure the antenna doesn't fall over while attached to the USB... - Signal Booster - Antenna - Usb - Wireless Network Adapter'

Rain-x - wiper blades

I have been using Rain-X products for years on my vehicles to help repel rain, snow, etc. I recently bought this Rain-X Repel blades because they seemed new. SO far they work better than expected. Not only do they repel water they reapply the Rain-X every time you use the wipers. The only drawback of this product is the price but if you want worry free windshields in rain and other types of weather the cost is well worth it. I highly recommended it. Rain-X Repel Premium Bracketless Wiper Blade - 19"

This is one of the first wiper blades I have found that actually works great on my 2005 Chevrolet Equinox LT. I took the time to clean my windshield, then use the preparation wipe before installing a set of these. I have had them for a few weeks and they are still working great. I live in Pennsylvania, and we have lots of bad weather, lots of salt in the winter, etc. So far, I really recommend these! The price is steep but I think the quality more than makes up for it. Installation for my vehicle took minutes!

These blades started streaking two days after I first installed them. One month later they are so bad that when it is raining heavy, I have to pull over on the road so I can see. I feel really bad I wasted so much money on these. Next time I'm going to try and find another brand. Other blade brands I've bought at a much cheaper price have lasted between 6-12 months.

The product has been preforming very well to date (about 4 weeks so far). It has been tested in rain to varying intensities (and light snow) with my visibility of the road well improved over my previous wiper blades.

I used the Rain X website to install these on my Volkswagen Eos, after the originals started streaking. After reading the instructions carefully and looking over the adapters I can tell you with confidence these simply do not work on a Volkswagen Eos. I saw another review for a Jetta, and the wipers are the same I'm sure.

I'm giving this 1 star because both the Rain X website, and this page said they fit. And they are lying. Looks like I'm off to order the crumby stock ones again.

Works great on driver side, although the 19" on the passenger side does not clear the center of the windshield. In these Wisconsin winters it makes it very hard to see. I contacted rain x to send a new one and they were no help. There goes another 20 buckS....

I would like to start off first by saying that Rain X is a quality product & I use it regularly on our vehicles windows. I was wanting to try this brand of wiper blades on our 2008 VW Jetta and see how they would differ in performance from the factory installed brand from VW. I did check prior to our purchase to make sure they were available for our make and model. After receiving them in the mail my husband & I went about preparing to install them. We consulted our owners manual for blade removal & the directions for installation only to find, after several attempts, even with the included adapters, that it just wasn't going to work no matter what! So, in other words, if you are the proud owner of a 2008 VW Jetta, don't waste your time or money because they DO NOT FIT!! Sadly, I cannot recommend this product. - Wiper Blades'

Great  price - great  price, 6500 c3

I have used my 5600 for bank-fishing in SW Washington and NW Oregon since 2004 (switching between my Lamiglas and Fennewick salmon/steelhead rods). This reel was ready to go right out of the box. After a few practice casts I decided that no adjustments were necessary. The casting action is so smooth and the gears are surprisingly quiet for the price. This the reel you end up depending on. I have Okuma, Quantum and Shimano with relatively similar qualities and amenities but I always go for my AG. Not once have I had a mechanical issue, that said I make sure that the bearings are lubed up before and after every session. Buy one and put it through its paces, more than likely you'll feel the same way that I do. I'll bet you my reel!
